Okay, first of all, I may be slightly biased because I am a fan of Peanuts and have been for decades. However, I think that is appropriately balanced with the fact that I was a state ranked tennis player and have worked in the tennis industry for several years, making me a very harsh critic of any tennis game.

So on with the review!

Take away Snoopy, Linus, Charlie Brown and all the other familiar characters you are able to play with, and do you know what you have? You still have a very solid tennis video game. The gameplay is actually very fun, and regardless of the sentimental value one may hold for Snoopy and the gang, it's an addicting game. As a tennis player, it's very nice to see actual mechanics used in the game (ie: when you swing earlier, you will pull the ball toward the forehand side).

It's a pretty easy game once you get the hang of it (swing once you hear the ball bounce),however, the very hard mode is absolutely impossible (well... right now at least). I haven't tried the two-player link mode yet, so I don't know how that is. The single player mode consists of normal, squash (walls count, but it's no fun) and powerup mode, which has icons you can pick up (similar to Mario Tennis). Then there's championship mode, which allows you to unlock characters and stages after completing it with the different difficulties.

The cons of the game No doubles play. That's about it, really. I guess i could complain about the monotonous sound effects, but for a system that was made 12 years ago, I'm not complaining.

But back to the Snoopy and Peanuts bitthey're absolutely adorable. For the first couple hours, you'll be more engrossed with the character movements and how cute they are than the actual game play.

Kudos to Infogrames for not pumping out a commercialized piece of [junk]. I'm looking forward to their release of their Snoopy flight adventure game later in the year (for the PS2 I believe).

When playing Tennisgames theres one all determining factor the controls. Especially your ability to control the ball, and this games really nails it. Mario doesn't even come close, forget about everything else once you master the controls you'll enjoy this game forever and ever. The graphics is also crystal clear, wich can't be said for Mario. You never doubt whether or not you made the shot.

In my book this is one of the best tennisgames ever, regardless of platform.

This is the first video game to feature the Peanuts characters and it's a splendid showing. I'd give it a slightly higher 4.5 if I could. The characters are detailed, instantly recognizable and have different attributes, colors are birght, there are multiple courts to play on, as well as variations on the srtaight tennis game. When you play the championship mode you play against different characters as you progress. Once you beat a new character, it will become available for play in the regular mode. So there's a collection side of things that keeps you hooked. There is also a power mode where different power ups appear durring the match. Aiming for them is quite challenging. Also you can hook up your GBC to a friends and play against each other! Always a great idea for a sports game.

My only gripes with the game are that I wish the sound was a bit crisper and that there was some character voices or something to keep things sonically fresh. All that's presented are the ball sounds, a crowd cheer and an announcer saying "out", when you hit the ball out of bounds.

The control is not only varied, but easy to learn. Young ones will have no problem learning the basics. But once those basics are mastered, you'll find you can actually control the movement of the ball in air and many other things. This is a perfect game for long trips as tennis matches are quite long and trying to aquire the extra characters will take extra endurance. Once you start, you'll have to tornnn away from your GBC!

No doubt about it, if you like tennis and/or the Peanuts, you will love this game.

Snoopy Tennis was put together well I think. It has a cute aspect to the game by favorite characters in the Peanuts comic strip to be in this game and you are competing against other characters too. the fun part is there too by the action of the tennis game going on and the Peanuts characters playing. characters in it are charlie Brown, Linus, Pig pen, Lucy and many others. I left my favorite one out Snoopy of course! The manufacturer Infogrames I think has made great games from this tennis game to another favorite of mine Driver.

This controller is not an official Microsoft controller. There is actually no brand on the control or the packaging. No serial numbers on control. The range for the wireless is 10 ft. My friend walked in front of the Xbox to change discs and I was on couch 12 ft away and it lost connection to the Xbox. The sensitivity of the joysticks is terrible!! It's all or nothing, there is no fine movements ie: trying to snipe on a fps game, forget it! If you have a game with a rotary layout with the joystick to select an item or move, it doesn't work, it only reads up, down, left, or right, no in between on the joysticks. Overall, only good for a child's game where they don't need sensitivity of the joysticks, or if they don't mind the controll randomly disconnecting or shutting off. Buy a real Microsoft controller and save yourself the headache!!!!!!

This Controller is fake. It is a fake produce of a xbox 360 controller. I bought this controller a few months ago, but when I first bought it, the left joy stick gave out on me on the 2nd day, it kept moving around on its own, and within a few more days the joy stick of the controller would just keep going right even though i was not touching it. This is a fake controller never buy this, trust me. It is better to get a genuine xbox 360 controller that only cost a few bucks more then this.

You can seriously feel the lower quality when just handling this controller. The buttons are slightly tougher to press and the analog sticks don't move quite as well as an actual 360 controller. And the clicking noises with each press. Guhhh it's abnoxious! I recommend this controller ONLY if you're short on cash and need a new controller fast like I did. But in the end, i still wasn't too happy.

I'm reviewing the older variant model than the one shown by default. The material of the controller seems decent, sturdy and pretty solid. The overall cord length is somewhat shorter than ones from the standard Xbox controllers. There's No Break-Away cable so basically the console adapter is built from within the primary cable. the memory card slots seem a bit mediocre especially when inserting a memory unit, there's no satisfactory reassuring "click" like those found from premium brand controllers, basically the memory card merely slides in and just sits there but it does get the job done. Now the whole button lay out is really awkward at first but it grows on you over time. For example, the X, Y, B, A buttons are far apart from one another. The Start and Back buttons are found on the lower center of the gamepad as opposed from the lower left. Note that during gameplay, light taps on the buttons don't always respond. One must firmly press the buttons so that desired actions work all the time. My final verdict is that its an okay controller for a great value. Its a pretty decent Xbox Controller, it gets by and gets the job done. Remember this is meant to be used for the original Xbox and Not the 360.

Deliver some lead in this spaghetti western videogame!

Red is a gunner with a Clint Eastwood face (I would not be surprised if good old Clint sued Rockstar for using a skin that is a bit too close to his likeness). His parents were murdered when he was a child, his father's legendary gun, "the Scorpion Revolver," robbed. Now that he is old and skilled with all sorts of weapons, Red is on a quest to avenge his parents, get that gun and kill anything that gets into his way.

This game is an excellent western, and here are its game characteristics:

Graphics: 9 out of 10.

^^^^^^^^ Its like being at the movies, great 3D animation and wonderful graphic engine. The wild west finally revives...

Sound: 10 out of 10.

^^^^^ Music seem to come directly from the The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Sound FXs are perfect, voiceovers are well done.

Atmosphere: 9 out of 10.

^^^^^^^^^^ Story, voicovers, music, and graphics will all contribute to a perfect western experience. Gun slinging, western humour, duels... you get everything.

Gameplay: 8 out of 10.

^^^^^^^^ Yes good, but a bit too arcade "kill them all." You will have a LOT of fun though, expecially if you like things simple and entertaining. Plus, not only you command Red around the game, you will use also a cast of other 5 perfectly designed characters.

The Bottom Line:

Thus is a GOOD BUY:

1) for western movie fans.

2) for Rockstar Game fans.

3) for action oriented gamers tired of battling undead that jump out of the sewers or aliens in airshafts.

For all others, this is a possibly good game on which to spend your money, as its overall quality is undeniably great.

If you're an avid fan of the western and a gamer to boot, then "Red Dead Revolver" is the only game in town that should get a tip of your hat. Western-themed games are rare to say the least, and good ones are rarer still. This is the latter kind, and its mature themes make it even more remarkable it's as close as you'll ever get to playing through an old Clint Eastwood film.

You're cast as Red, a bounty hunter who's seeking to avenge the murder of his parents. His quest takes him through many bizarre locations and pits him against a wide variety of murderous outlaws. It's his job to shoot first and ask questions later... then again, he doesn't really ask questions, he just shoots people and leaves it at that.

The game's levels are usually brief affairs that revolve around one particular set piece or another and are jam-packed full of people to kill. Fortunately, all that killing is mighty satisfying. There's hardly a wide variety of weapons to help you along despite the designers' best efforts to bring variety to the period setting, but the weapons that exist are cool enough to compensate. Area specific damage and gouts of blood and gore keep things visceral and compelling. Red can fire from cover if things get too hectic, but it's generally not an essential tactic even if it is a welcome option. He's also got a Max Payne-like ability called "Dead Eye," which allows him to slow time and take steady aim at his opponents.

You don't only play as Red during the course of the game. There are several other characters and storylines to delve into, and while they sometimes steer the focus of the game's story in the wrong direction, it's generally a welcome change of pace. Red's native cousin, Shadow Wolf, enjoys a particularly entertaining mission that encourages stealth and a fair aim with a bow and arrow. Some of the other character missions feel tacked on, though such as the Buffalo Soldier's wagon ride back to town.

What's a western-themed action game without the occasional duel? Drawing on opponents is handled like a sort of minigame that generally fits well into the scheme of things. Unfortunately, it's too frustrating, particularly later in the game. It's more a matter of a luck than skill, and certainly could have been handled with more flair.

It's far from perfect, but "Red Dead Revolver" should provide hours of fairly mindless but addictive fun. With the lack of competition, it easily earns its place as the best western-themed game ever released. If this kind of thing rubs you the right way, go grab a copy.

Good game which I enjoyed. The game is challenging in some places but not impossible. To me its more of an old school game were you might get beat a couple of times until you change you strategy and I would rather get some challenge with a game then speed through it.

There are some levels in the game which are frustrating for one reason or another. The most annoying I can think of is the Diago stage since the game is very vague about explaining what your supposed to be doing while your getting shot at with cannons which is a bad thing. The key to making the game easier is to focus on getting head shots. Focusing on head shots makes the game a lot less frustrating.

The atmosphere and music in the game was very well done a lot of the voice acting is over the top and funny in a good way. The voice acting of the main character was little to similar to Solid Snake. The music is similar to Kill Bill which I thought had a great soundtrack so its a plus here.

The graphics are good, and I like that the cut scenes were done to imitate old movie reels with scratchs and dirt. Character models are well done and the levels are well designed.

There have been a lot of complaints about the dueling system which isn't perfect but isn't impossible. The key is drawing your gun out quickly. Theres a slight pause when the game is showing Red and the enemy and then goes full screen. If you time it right you can usually get a shot off first. I didn't have a problem until the end when the time gets a lot shorter for you to shoot.

The story is your basic revenge story so while it does a good job of drawing out the outcome, the outcome is always assured. Playing as different characters throughout the game adds some variety to the levels. Also having a town as a homebase works well. Red Dead Revolver also has a fun multiplayer mode with over 20 characters.

So overall Red Dead Revolver was a fun game that had some frustrating parts that were challenging but not impossible. It does a great job with the western genre but its not that long of a game so you'd probably be better off renting it first. Just remember to focus on those head shots!

Not since Wild Gunman on the old NES platform have I so throughly enjoyed a western game. First off, there aren't too many western games on the market to begin with but Red Dead Revolver gets it right. Rockstar Games has produced another winner. The game has sick graphics and smooth gameplay. The shootouts and levels are challenging but not frustrating. An average gamer can navigate the levels fairly easily. The weapon selection is large and varied, as are the levels. Red Dead Revolver could never be accused of being repetitive. You can change characters, ride horses and other animals, have a shootout on top of a moving train or just a simple bar fight. The targeting system is accurate and the duels are ultra cool. Rockstar even licensed some of the music from the classic Clint Eastwood westerns to give the game a complete touch. Also, the ability to take cover against rocks or walls makes the gameplay even more true to life. Overall, this is one of the best games I've played on the XBOX system and without a doubt the best western game ever made. Highly Recommended.

Don't let the magazine and internet reviews by groups such as ign fool you, this game is really fun. Yes, the controls are not that great, the graphics are blocky, and unfortunately the game is short and does not offer xbox live support...but, the game is a blast to play, the theme is unique, the artistic quality is superb and the acting is attractive and well developed. Plus, it has a great story. I recommend buying or renting this game.

It's a harddrive, it does what it's suposed to do. I've had my xbox for about 4 years now and I hardly ever played it since I used to game on my PC (WoW). But when my pc crashed I needed my fix. I couldn't play newer games on my xbox without updates which required a harddrive. After about 20 minutes of searching this was the cheapest solution to my problem so I bought it.......

Update: April 4 2012. Hard drive is still working find and dandy with almost daily use. I'm not sure if I lucked out compared to the other reviewers.

I have a xbox 360 arcade that I bought a few years ago. It only came with a 256MB memory card. Bought this to upgrade so that I can save more games. Not only does it save more games I also got more features from my NCAA football 2012 game. I can see highlights at the end of the game now. No problems so far and I have had it for a month. The only reason to not give 5 yet is b/c I have had it for a short time and do not know how long it will last.

I figured out how to do the basics since I only play Mw2, but if I hold the trigger all the way down it kinda pauses in the middle of a gunbattle and is quite annoying, I have to hold it at a certain point, but than again sometimes it works really good and shoots faster than most automatic guns.

And this has long since become one of the most engaging and intense multiplayer titles I've ever picked up.

But, this isn't for your usual CoD player. This is for the player who likes to focus on teamwork and coordination. The Battlefield series touches into this in some ways but not to the degree that Guns of Icarus Online takes it. In GoIO, you either work together or you die together.

For starters you are given three classes to choose from. Pilot, engineer, or gunner. All three roles can be interchanged mid battle should the need arise but they won't be as specialized in the role due to extra tools each class gets over the other. It doesn't take long to get good at one or the other, but it will take experience. The best pilots in the game only get there by learning from others and by learning the limits of each ship (there are six by the way). The best engineers likewise only get there by learning what tools to use and when to use them. Gunners are perhaps the only class in game which requires mostly the skills you bring to the game (a good aim), but it is more than that. A good gunner knows what ammo to use and when to use it. They transition between guns and along the way help repair when needed.

It is a punishing game if you think within the box of your class. Gunners and pilots do not come with the tools to do heavy repairs but need to be able to help if a ship is under heavy fire. Engineers need to not only keep an eye on the repairs but also on ships approaching. Giving call outs and in a moment, hopping on a gun to deal critical damage to an enemy ship. Pilots are very much the orchestrators of everything.

So hopefully that is an idea of the intensity matches can get. Each ship has a crew of four players. If one person is not working together, but sitting on a turret or does not understand what they need to repair...that ship can be easily obliterated by opposing ships.

Matches can be very one sided because of this, and then they can be very tense and tough battles other times. I've been in fights where we were down by 3 or 4 kills and came back and won because our ships regrouped and changed our attack plan. The other team couldn't adjust and we went one after another picking their ships off.

The community is one of the friendliest and will help new players grasp the concepts. So if all of that just terrified you, don't. Come on in and fly with us!

But despite how grand that all seems, do not forget that this game is an indie title. It is not a big budget dev putting it out. With that comes advantages as well as disadvantages. The developers are very friendly and responsive but the game has it's bugs. Some are annoying, some aren't. However, when you consider the bugs with the level of gameplay it makes the bugs seem so small that they stop mattering as much.

The game is beautiful and the immersion is fantastic. It is clear this title is a labor of love and what is fantastic is...it stemmed from a simple idea. The devs who played Battlefield saw the vehicle concept there and saw how one could create an entire game around just that. Which is why I note earlier, BF comes close but not to the degree of this. In BF vehicles are fun but there is not always an emphasis on working together to crew a tank or helicopter. It often times comes down to people just using vehicles as a means of quick travel.

In the end, I regret not buying this title sooner. I waited on it, didn't give it much of a look other than a glance. Then finally on a Steam sale I jumped. Now I'm over 150hrs into the game and can't put it down. I really urge new people checking this out to give Guns a shot. It isn't a perfect game, but the gameplay is beyond what you'll ever get from the big studios who only make things for money. The potential for it in the future is wonderful and it keeps getting better.

Guns of Icarus Online was a risky venture for Muse Games. Tired of the control investors took over their products, they shed the political shackles and got down to making the game of their dreams. It turned out incredibly well for the rest of us.

You are a gunner, and engineer or a pilot onboard the airship of your choosing. You will do battle against other airships for control of points, or for total destruction of the opposing team. This job is best done with a crew of four human players, and because of this, the in-game community is very interesting. Veteran players spin up new players on the job, barking commands over their headsets and showing them the ropes. Veteran teams work together like a well oiled machine, producing some of the most exciting player versus player matches out there.

The competitive scene is very intense, with multiple clans fighting it out for bragging rights in various tournaments set up by the community. The developers of the game are known to join in on these matches, as well as casual matches throughout the week. This is one of the few games in which you can actually count on meeting the entire development staff in game at some point, flying with, and even befriending them as you go.

The Devs are extremely well integrated into the community and will not only shoot the breeze with you on the forums, but will actually listen and implement change on occasion if a good idea is tossed their way.

I'm in love with this game, so, sadly, my only review of it would be biased. If you are interested in playing, look up some gameplay footage to see if it strikes your fancy.

A team of four crewmembers all get on the same ship: one person pilots, and the other three can either be a gunner or engineer. While all three rolespilot, gunner, engineerhave specific jobs, they are not barred from pulling double duty. All players get one special tool per role, and an extra tool for their specialization; the pilot gets two extra tools that influence the ship's movement, the gunner gets two extra ammo types when using guns, and the engineer can get two extra repair items. However, this also means that the pilot gets one engineer tool and one ammo type, etc. etc. This sort of relationship between members keeps the game fresh, because many different strategies can be put into play. For example, an engineer could shoot a gun, and repair everything he needs in the area, or a pilot can start repairing while his ship flies on cruise control.

The community is very nice, as well. There are several 'Community Ambassadors' that were picked as volunteers to act as mediators to problems and moderators of the forums. Most, if not all, questions relating to game problems or aspects of the game will be answered very quickly if asked.

The game's lobby has three different chat types: One to your crew, one to your team, and one to the entire community. If any question is asked in this 'Regional' chat, there are many people who are willing to jump in and help.

So I suppose I should start off this review with a confession. I have played nearly 800 hours of guns of Icarus online and I have no plans to stop playing anytime soon.

This is simply the best co-op multiplayer experience I have ever found. Think L4D but with more cooperation. Working as a team is necessary to accomplish anything, thankfully the game naturally encourages teamwork.

The best part is you get to do it all while flying through the air in steampunk airships, coordinating complex tactics and formations with at times over a dozen crew members and teammates at once. It is just so incredibly rewarding when you get everyone working together just right and the beautiful enemy airships disintegrate in front of your eyes (the game really is gorgeous).

As great as all of that is and sounds it's only half the reason I've played this game more than any other game I've ever owned. The community is simply fantastic and the devs really care. I'll be honest and admit I used to play a lot of big name games made by the giant corporations of the gaming world and I enjoyed them. But it was really awful having to deal with all the trolls and punks and bigots and everything else that is prevalent on the internet. Furthermore you often felt like the developers would just make the game and dump it on you without ever touching it again or fixing problems that existed when they made it.

GOI is different. The community is friendly and welcoming and anyone that tries to ruin the game for anyone are taken seriously and handled by the community and the devs. Even better than that though is that it's made by a small group of people that really care about the game. The game is constantly updated tweaked added onto and really nurtured and cared for. You can actually email the devs directly and get a response in less than 24 hours and they not only listen to the community they are actively involved. They play in tournaments, post on the forum, play matches with the community and lurk in the lobby chat to talk to the player base.

This game may not be for everyone; but if you're the type of person, that likes people, and playing games co-operatively with said people to vanquish your foes you really should check this out; just be prepared to get hooked, because if you're anything like me, you might never stop playing.

I really, really enjoyed this game.

Let me preface this first by saying I am not a fan of JRPGs; the linear storyline ("interactive movie") doesn't appeal to me. And I confess I am a fan of strategy games. Simple strategy with lots of applications really interests me. I'm an avid chess player as well, though, so take my review with a grain of salt.

I loved this game.

Spectral Force 3 breaks a lot of conventions. Its non-linear storyline will keep you interested for replay after replay. Its character customization will put the burden of power on you. Its completely open-ended gameplay will frustrate you, and reward you.

The storyline is fairly basic you're a boy, given control of a mercenary unit, and told to save the world. However, what "save the world" means can differ significantly from replay to replay. You have the option to ally with any one of the nine (!) kingdoms, or none of them. You can switch alliances mid-game. You, alone, decide which kingdom wins the ultimate battle and, therefore, saves the world.

The gameplay is actually simple, and, like all good strategy games, can quickly add up to some fairly deep turn movement. Much of your turn will be used deciding which character to "teamwork" in to the turn. You'll also have to consider placement, status effects, and weapon types. There ends up being a surprising amount of complexity for a simple system.

I admit the graphics are fairly weak, although not as horrible as other people have made them out to be. The budget's been spent on animating movement, rather than cut scenes (and, lord, those cut scenes are horrible). But what animation exists is very tight. Archer units step back and brace themselves for a shot. Spear units lunge forward and strike solidly. Enjoy the bits of animation, and (please) ignore the awful cut scenes.

Finally, the instruction book is bad. Bad. Horrible. Bad. I can't-there aren't enough words in the English language that I can call here to properly give you an idea of how bad the instruction book is. Throw it out; that's my advice.

Keep at it, though. It took me about four hours to really understand the battle system and the various implements I can bring to bear on the combat. If you persevere, you'll be rewarded with a shockingly good game.

I know it's not for everyone. I know it's difficult, and picky, and suffers from the anime-cliche. I know, furthermore, that the instructions are nothing short of a biblical atrocity. I know that this game won't sell very well. I know.

But Spectral Force 3 is good for gamers who want a choice; gamers who enjoy pitting strategy against a computer. If you're looking to get the powerup and win the game, this isn't necessarily the game for you.

If, however, you're looking for a surprisingly innovative and deep set of challenges with high replay value, this is a good game to pick up.

Spectral Force 3 slipped under my radar for quite a while because of the horrid ratings it got accross the board. I finally gave it a try, and I'm sure glad I did.

The 360 is lacking solid tactical rpgs, this is a great addition to a very under popluated genre.

Yes, it has a steep learning curve. The instruction manual is horrid and not helpful, but with guide sites up all over the place, five minutes online will get you everything you need to know to get rolling.

So, if you love Tactics games, give this a try. (Although it can be found for $20 new several places now.)

This game left me with a pretty nasty first impression, so I can understand the bad reviews. The cutscenes are pretty annoying, you're given pretty much no direction on how to use the fairly complex battle system and my game froze up during a post battle cutscene less then 2 hours into the game (I restarted my 360, replayed the mission and skipped the post battle cutscene the second time around.)

However if you can get past the initial first impression this is a pretty good, tougher then average SRPG with quite a bit of depth, alot of battles, characters and customization. Many of the battles are serious battles of attrition where just when you think you've won hordes of new enemies will appear. If you're a newbie to SRPGs this game will probably be pretty frustrating considering the lack of direction and difficult battles that hit you fairly early in the game.

For the cheap price tag this game is currently going for give it a shot if you're looking for a challenging SRPG. If you're looking for something a little more user friendly however I would probably recommend trying Operation Darkness (Also for 360) or one of the Disgaea titles for PS2/PS3.

As one of the few SRPGs for the Xbox 360, I am pleased to say this the purchase was certainly worth the money; especially at the low price it sells at now.

The SRPG genre is one of my favorites, and Spectral Force 3 delivers in many repects. However, the game also lacks in some ways, as other have mentioned. Here's my run-down (Note that some of these are opinions):

Pros:

+ Easily 40+ hours of gameplay

+ Appealing art style (The 3D character sprites resemble and compliment their respective anime portraits, adding a lot of personality to the large cast of recruitable characters)

+ Challenging and rewarding difficulty

+ A good deal of character customization (equipment, skills, and specials)

+ Open mission selection, allowing you a few options in how you wish to progress.

+ Has a New Game+ feature once you complete the game. (I've just started this and find it very enjoyable compared to the first playthrough)

Cons:

Game starts out difficult due to lack of funds, skills, etc. You will likely have to replay a few battles. (Hint: Keep your party members close together, and don't let one member get surrounded!)

Little to no tutorial. You will need to invest some hours before picking up the battle mechanics.

Story is really weak. Unfortunately, you don't get much background information on any of the characters.

Equipment menus should have been devised better. (Hint: Look at the bottom of the screen for controller buttons that provide you more information)

Difficulty can spike at certain missions, resulting in frustrating experiences. (Hint: Keep multiple saves!)

Overall:

Not a perfect game but it has a lot to offer. Now that I invested hours into understanding the battle mechanics, member recruitment, and menus, the game is a highly enjoyable experience. New Game+ is a perfect opportunity to try out the many members you add to your group. I highly recommend this game to any SRPG buff, and to other RPG fans interested in a challenge.

this isn't like final fantasy or anything, so you shouldn't expect that much from this series, as a strategy rpg, i'd say is a very decent rpg and i had fun with it, i wish the game has more content and more missions, anyway for 15 bucks is definitely worth it, that's why i gave it 5 stars

I am a big fan of "The Fight : Lights out" and I bought SC2 primarily for boxing. Frankly I haven't played other games in SC2, but I can say boxing alone is worth the price of admission if you are into this type of game. If you liked Lights out, you will love SC2 boxing.

Both Lights out and SC2 boxing provide great workout and very accurate 1-1 mapping of your movement. However, I think SC2 boxing is more fun, realistic, and make you sweat more for the following reasons:

1) Unlike Lights out, you can't upgrade game character's skill by in-game trainings or buying add-on package. Your game character is only as good as your own speed, stamina, and the game plan. This makes sense because, this way, when you advance, you know it's because of the improvement of your own skill, not that of the game character.

2) SC2 boxing is much harder especially when you get to the gold level and up. You have to have game plan to win. You won't be able to win without understanding opponent's tendency & pattern, dodging, blocking and counter striking. You have to have really fast combo sequence like dodge, left upper-cut, right straight, and step back, etc. The faster you can do this, the less likely to be countered and the more damage you can dole out. You really need to work at it, and this becomes a great intense workout.

3) Fight can last long sometimes to 5 rounds decision especially with certain opponents who tend to wait for you to throw first and counter. So you have to balance your stamina. A grueling long fight is actually more fun and satisfying, and you are guaranteed to sweat from a couple of fights like this.

4) Some other thoughts You can throw a fake punch, and the opponent sometimes reacts to that making himself more vulnerable for your follow-up attacks. That's how realistic this game is. Again, counter punching is the key and incur much more damage. You have to pay close attention to opponent's movement and develop a good reflex. Graphic, animation, sounds, and vibration feedback are fantastic compared to Lights out which is black & white and too dark. A couple of gripes I have compared to Lights out are that SC2 doesn't have an online mode and character's face doesn't reflect incurred damages (like cuts, bruises, blood, etc) I guess this is a family game so I can understand the latter, but I really wished it had the online mode which would have been super fun.

Don't get me wrong, Lights out is still a great fight game (more brawl type of game), but SC2 boxing seemed to have outdone it by adding more elements of realism and strategy. Sorry, at this point, I am just playing boxing and haven't had chance to play other games, but wanted to let you boxing fan know as soon as possible how good SC2 boxing is.

I'm still playing the first one because is still great, but this new one is more than great! The good thing is (If you still like the first one) with this one you have 6 more different games, so you don't have to get rid of the first one because with both you have 12 different games to play.

This new one came with the following games: Skiing, Tennis, Boxing, Bowling, Golf and Archery (This Archery is different than the Archery of the first one).

Also came with the following features and content:

Bonus Golf DLC (Free code to download at Playstation network) with three modes: Scramble, Best Ball and Stableford.

Additional content in the DVD game: Two demo games, Medieval Moves "Deadmund's Quest" and Sport Champions the first one, just install and play. If you buy the second one and don't have the first one, you can try it in this demo.

Additional content in the DVD game: Sport champions 2 digital manual, the game did not comes with a printed manual like other games, the manual is digital.

Is 3D compatible.

You can create and customize the characters.

You can play using one or two Move controllers, along or multiplayer.

You can play Three modes: Free mode, champion mode and a new party mode.

You can practice each game before begins the mode you want.

This is a great game to play with someone or along. I think the price is ok, but you can wait until black Friday and maybe get a better price. I hope this review can be helpful.

Best Deals for Sports Champions 2 - Playstation 3

for $40, a pretty amazing value.

So far, the boxing is great. Its not as complex a game as The Fight, but the game play is simpler and in some ways more fun. The boxing opponents are easy, but I've only played once, and in "bronze cup," so I'm sure they'll improve. I'm hoping The Fight comes out with another version at some point, or someone puts together a top notch "move controller" boxing game. The programming on this version of boxing is a good step toward that goal.

I was looking forward to the Bowling, since I've enjoyed the Wii version with friends in the past. Unfortunately it's disappointing because Wii bowling is still better. I played a 10 frame game with 2 other people, and none of us ever threw a gutter ball, which is annoying and unrealistic. Takes some of the fun out of actually rolling a good ball. I was hoping there was something in Game Options like "gutter balls, on or off," or "easy, medium, hard." But there isn't, and unless the difficulty level increases and gutter balls become part of the game as the game advances in difficulty through Cup Play, it sort of ruins an otherwise nicely programmed bowling game.

The skiing is actually fun, nice to have a racing game with the motion controllers.

archery is more or less like the last one, not something I really care about. But its probably great if you like target games. It's certainly well done. If you liked the last one, you'll like this one. The events are creative.

The golf is as good or better then Wii golf. I think the disk golf of Sports C 1 is a better game so far, but this golf is still well done, and a good addition.

I don't think the Tennis is as good as the table tennis of the first one, but maybe it'll get better as the difficulty increases, just like the table tennis did in the first one.

All the games are well done in this version, the bowling is the only disappointment due to the gutter ball issue. Well worth the money if you liked Sports Champions 1.

If you have enjoyed Sports Champions 1, then this is no brainer. It improves on 1st one in almost everything. Visuals are sharper, customization is better, and most importantly there is no need for frequent move calibration.

With little to no 3rd party Move support, I applaud Zindagi Games for taking care of gamers who really enjoy Move games. The move implementation is among the best. There are 6 games Tennis, Boxing, Archery (a return from SC1), Skiing, Bowling, and Golf. My favorites are tennis and Boxing. Tennis is like table tennis from SC1, a bit easier but feels really good in gold cup. Boxing is the real winner here. It is a borderline simulation but not at the cost of fun.

Highly Recommended!

When Masque Gaming is adapting Bally Gaming's slot machines for home PCs, they do an excellent job of bringing the fun and excitement to the player. New titles such as "Take It or Leave It", "Sunset Beach" and others from Bally Gaming are decent, but disturbingly stingy with payouts -even if the option for loosening the slots is selected.

Masque's attempts at creating their own slot machines, however, aren't as successful. While there are some intriguing premises to be found, the slots are as tight -perhaps tighter -than even the critically bashed slots that Hoyle/Sierra have put out for a few years now.

Phantom EFX, whose line of slots and casino simulations have been strongly embraced by thousands of home gamers (and was recently ranked the #1 slot simulation company in the world), started off rough as well with their initial offering of original and exciting slots. Unlike Masque, however, the Phantom team was quick to address the compliments and critiques of their customers -the results of which can be seen consistently in every new offering Phantom EFX puts out. Masque needs to listen to their userbase and re-evaluate their original slot line and make changes for the better. The sooner, the better.

As my title says, this software has promise. I am hopeful that Masque's designers and programmers will take the comments posted here and elsewhere to one day be a viable competitor to Phantom EFX. For now, although a fair diversion, one might as well wait until this game is in a clearance or bargain bin.

Personally, I can't stand slot machines, but considering where I live I'm exposed to a lot of people that do; and for them this makes a great gift. There are a lot of slots to choose from, but not all of them have bonus rounds, I figure it's about 50/50. The remaining slots don't seem much different from one another other than a slightly different graphical theme.

In regards to the games with bonus rounds, Take It or Leave It has a game show atmosphere. Payout Party has you choosing between two different houses. Pick the right one and it's party time. Pick the wrong one and the alarms go off and the round is over. Wealth potion stars a mad professor who drinks a concoction you create. Java buzz has bug-eyed coffee drinkers competing over who can stay awake the longest. In the weird category are Money Bees playing poker against one another in the bonus round. My favorite of the bunch (although admittedly I haven't seem them all) is Egg Raid starring another bug-eyed weasel character that sneaks around a henhouse trying to gather eggs without waking up the chickens.

I knocked off a star because the games without bonus rounds seem rushed. Plus, while the sound sampling is accurate, you can hear clicks and pops. These are minor gripes, though. On the plus side, the game has really low system requirements and should easily run on any machine. You can also set the game to extra-high payouts. Just remember the casinos won't be this generous.

I usually find Masque products pretty entertaining but I was quite disappointed in Video Slots. All the games seemed to be the same. Many of them did not explain the special combinations giving bonuses in their "paytables". You were left to just keep pushing the button and waiting. I do like the ability to set the payout level to regular or high.

I recently purchased another one of these Masque slot machine games. I have always enjoyed each of the games that they have come out with in the past. I seem to look forward to the next game offered.

This video slot game didn't disappoint me at all. Fun, entertaining for hours and the best thing, you feel like you been to a real casino. The best part is...you lost no money. All their games are realistic. Especially the name brand companies they used in earlier games. (IGT, BALLY, PRO SLOT, etc). I would recommend Masque games for anyone who likes real casino slot machines and video slots.

I've been waiting for this product to hit my doorstep for 2 weeks, not just because the facility may have been far, but because something stupid happened with this thing getting here. According to the Amazon tracker, this product went from Bell Gardens, CA to Jacksonville, FL. AND I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA. After complaining about this to HDE, I guess they shipped another one or rerouted the other one to my house in CA. Such a waste of time that could've been avoided probably, but whatever.

Other than the terrible shipping problem, the product itself is good. I was able to open my white Xbox 360 and fix my RROD. Still if you have an option to not order from this place, just consider my experience. Could've just been a bad week/month for them, but still.

Best Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back Deals

I hadn't played a video game to any extent for probably 15 years when my son got this game for his birthday last year. He loved it and immediately started playing it, so I checked it out. I quickly became completely hooked. I have now beat all the boss levels and are going back and cleaning up the gems.

And that leads me to my second point. One of the best things about the game is that, even after you beat the game, there is still a lot to do. At each level, you collect boxes; you can get through the level fairly easily (thus earning the crystal), but to earn the gem you have to collect all the boxes. This is not easy! I beat the game (i.e. got all the crystals) within several weeks of playing the game; but I am still (months later) only up to 80% on the gems. There are sometimes boxes (or extra lives!) hidden just out of view, usually above the top of the screen. You certainly get your money's worth from this game.

The best levels, in my opinion, have got to be the jet pack levels, especially the final boss level where you take on Neo Cortex himself. The funniest levels, though, are the tiny polar bear levels Crash sees the tiny polar bear, turns around and arches his eyebrows at you, and then hops on for a wild ride.

As far as family-friendliness, it's very high on the scale. There are no guns that you wield (though your foes sometimes shoot at you). The vast majority of the foes are either vanquished by jumping on them or "spin-moving" or "sliding" them (both of which just knock the opponent out of the way), or you simply escape from them. The only exception is the TNT boxes, which you jump on then have 3 seconds to escape before they explode. There are a few cases where you need to get rid of foes using the TNT boxes. The violence that is in the game is very cartoonish, however, with no blood or gore.

The graphics are a bit dated (being from 1997). Some kids may thus turn up their noses at the game. That's unfortunate, because it's a great game. Only playing the newest, latest thing is both expensive and gives short-lasting pleasures. The graphics are much better than the original Crash Bandicoot.

Will adults like it? I don't know, but they should: In my view, games unsuitable for kids are not actually suitable for anybody. In any case, *this* adult certainly does like it.

Get it, whether you're 8 or 80. You won't regret it.

As the product discription states, this is extremely easy to set up. It gives a wireless distance over 100 ft, and goes through walls and such. The one thing you need to know is that this is *not a WiFi connection*, and so doesn't work with, e.g., wireless network cards. If you don't have a switch, you will need one because this does not have a pass-through to connect to your computer.

I have a microsoft wireless G router that is backwards compatible for wired products. I searched all over the place for wireless products that can help my ps2 get online. At first I bought a linksystem wireless G gaming adapter, the company said it was defective, but i believe it jes wasnt compatible with my router. So I got rid of it and started searching for more items online. Thats when I saw the Nyko wireless net extender. It said it can wirelessly be wired to the network with no setup(Only compatible with routers that take wired products), So i bought the item and when i started using it,the product worked, but it kept disconnecting on me after a while when i play games like socom 2, 3, killzone and other online games. I was dealing with this problem with the nyko product for 9 months until i saw the logitech network extender. It works like that nyko product I had. I read the reviews on it, bought it and tried it at home and it worked perfectly when I used it to play online. it was free from disconnections.So I give logitech a big thumbs up and Nyko a big thumbs down. If your lookin for a product to get your ps2 online with no complicated setups then this is the product for you.

Xbox live has never been better! I have these things on 2 different floors on opposite sides of my house. The two units found each other instantly. My Xbox literally thinks it's plugged directly into the router--amazing! My DSL provider had made changes to their platform making wireless networking extremely difficult. Note the price point here (currently $65 at the time of my purchase)--cheaper than other wireless solutions including Microsoft's own wireless game bridge.

I got this as an alternative to the grossly overpriced Microsoft XBox 360 Wireless Adapter.

This device is, if anything, easier to use. It comes with 2 boxes -one plugs into your XBox ethernet port, the other plugs into your router. There is no setup. There is nothing to configure on the XBox. As far as the XBox is concerned, this is a regular ethernet linkup and it just starts working.

I hooked it up, did some rounds of COD4 and downloaded a movie and I noticed no difference versus when I had the XBox plugged directly in to my router (but I didn't want my router in my living room, which is why I got this).

You should also be able to use these for any no-setup wireless connection you want. It's the "Xbox Play Link" but there's really nothing about it that makes it specific to the XBox. It will work for anything. (The boxes themselves do not say "Xbox" anywhere on them.)

Word of caution, though:

Check the prices.

As of the time of this writing, Amazon is not stocking the device and you can only buy it through 3rd parties. I was lucky and got it through a 3rd party here for a good price, but now I see only one place selling it, and they've marked it up considerably. Shop around before you buy.

Also note that any "wireless bridge adapter" will very likely work, if you are unable to find this particular device. Just make sure the transfer rate of the bridge adapter is in the 1.5 Mbps rater or higher, so you can fully utilize your high speed internet through it.
