Finally the long awaited Dark Sector has hit the shelves and sadly it just came short of meeting HALF of its expectations. Visually the game is phenomenal but unfortunately there's only so much scenery can do for the entertainment value of a game. The story is very cliché and lacks the ability to really get you involved and suck you in; for the most part Hayden (who you play as) comes off as a very one-dimensional character with your cliché "past that haunts him" so nothing new on that front. As far as game play goes, the movements are extremely stiff which makes aiming a really big pain especially when the enemy AI is hardly existent yet so hard to eliminate. The glaive; honestly, it's awesome the first few times you kill with it but sooner rather than later you'll get sick of it and it just becomes annoying to maneuver and even more annoying when you try to run up to an enemy to hit them with it and for some odd reason it does NOTHING the first 2 tries so you get hit THEN it works.

So overall I'm sad to say this game was a HUGE let down for me because I, like a lot of you I'm sure, have been anticipating this game since back when Xbox 360 was still labeled Xbox 2. Definitely worth a glimpse but I don't think it quite deserves it's spot on your shelve next to those other long awaited titles that actually delivered. Rent don't buy.

In short, Dark Sector looks like Gears Of War, the same art direction, there's even a simular roadie-run. But that's where the comparison ends.

Dark Sector for me was very fun, but the game didn't start out that way,it grew on me ,then I found myself having a strong desire to replay it again on the hardest setting after I intially beat the game. At first I didn't like the game but I stuck with it and really thought it's a very good game.

Some of the boss battles at first will leave you scratching your head as what to do,but once I figured out there weak spots ,it was easy as gravy.

I actually like not being 'held by the hand' so to speak ,having the game give me hints on killing a boss.

For the most part you gotta figure it out without 'glowing parts' as hints on the bosses body, with exception the last boss.

I actually loved my second playthrough on the hardest setting ,it was pure gamer bliss.

One thing I highly, highly recommend is getting used to the 'Glaive' ,it will be by far your fav weapon in the game.

You unlock the Glaive's various abilities as you progress into the game.

I didn't find the Glaive hard to control at all,and it's really the hilight of the game.

Overall a very satisfying enjoyable game, with epic boss battles, and decent Gears Of War like scenery,Dark Sector is a solid game.

If you so choose you can use primarily use ballistic weapons ,all of which are upgradeable at various black markets you'll find in the sewers.

I like the fact that you can duel wield ,have a Gliave in one hand and a micro-machine gun in the other. I found myself using assault rifles for distance enemies ,because the Glaive does have limited range.

Think of the Glaive as a boomerang on steroids ,only it has very sharp blades. By far my fav weapon in the game.

A must play game for any gamer. PEACE

This game is the definition of underrated. It's amazing how some bad reviews can make or break a game and in this game's case, its the latter. This game has been full of bad press, most notably because it "copies" Gears of War's cover/combat system. Make no mistake, this game is very, very similar to Gears... However, it changes so much to make its own unique experience that in my opinion, is even more fun the Gears. In the same way Uncharted Drakes Fortune(another Gears "clone") changed things up with platforming and combos... This game has a throwing weapon called the glaive and brutal finishing moves that never disappoint and never get old.

The glaive is given to you in the second level and is probably your most devastating weapon. It can be thrown powerful enough to decapitate, dismember and maim enemies. You can also control it with pinpoint precision, slowing time down to really hit those dismember points. The only word to describe this is AWESOME. Once you get the hang of using the glaive in combination with your pistol or shotgun... its like gory poetry in motion.

Also, like Gears 2... This game has finishing moves when your close to your enemy. They vary between enemy and what side you attack from... But let me tell you that they are simply described as AMAZING. The game sorta slows down ala the Matrix while you shred the enemies up with the glaive in multiple ways. Its epic, seriously.

But what completely separates this game from the pack is the way you change(you're infected with some "disease") over time, allowing you new abilities and way to annihilate your enemies. Most notably is the energy pulse, which for a short time, will deflect all bullets/projectiles/etc, shot at you. And even better, the "Shift" which allows you to become invisible for a short period of time, allowing you to get the drop on your enemies and go for those finishing moves! Not only that... throughout the game, you collect upgrades. Upgrades which can be applied to your weapons you buy and sell which also changes the game dramatically. It's great because... you can play the game differently in so many ways and always change it up. Makes for great re-playability.

Like I said before... if you like Gears and other 3rd person shooters... You will absolutely love this game. The graphics are top notch and the gameplay is fluid and slick. Do yourself a favor and buy it... Especially now, seeing as its under $10 brand new!!! I'm sad that this game fell upon deaf ears and never really got the accolades it deserves. But I'm hopeful it will become a cult classic and one day will receive a sequel... cause it most certainly deserves one!

Honest reviews on Dark Sector - Xbox 360

Put simply, Dark Sector is a fun game. The game has unique puzzles that incorporate the various abilities of the glaive, this unique weapon that your character "Hayden" uses throughout the game. The glaive eventually gains an ability called "aftertouch", which allows you to steer the glaive toward your enemies or objectives by taking on the third-person view of the glaive itself -you travel along with it, in slow-motion, until it hits its intended target...and better yet, you get to see the results up-close.

The game has really smooth gameplay, and I did not encounter any bugs, defects, or poor framerate issues. The voice-acting is superb, and the sound on this game rates as "one of the best" I have ever encountered. The controls are well laid out, and as Hayden obtains more and more abilities as the game progresses, the controls never become overwhelming or confusing.

The weapon upgrade system in this game is somewhat deficient. Once an upgrade is applied to a weapon, there appears to be no way to remove it. The "blackmarket" upgrade sites are few and far between, and once you swap out a weapon from your locker, you're stuck with whatever you have, until you either backtrack or get to the next location.

The environments in the game are a mixed bag. Ultimately, this game plays a lot like Resident Evil 4, in terms of the controls and the underlying game engine. At times, the levels feel like a mix of Condemned, Resident Evil 4, Tomb Raider, and sometimes even Bioshock. Some of the levels, especially the later ones, look much better than others, a sign that development may have gone off in several different directions until they brought the final game together.

The game has a good save system, so you won't find yourself repeating sections tirelessly.

The AI is not advanced. At times, it seems all the enemies just rush you. Some of the enemies have special abilities that make them more difficult to defeat. However, the enemies come at you in very predictable waves. By the time you're 50% through the game, you can predict the patterns. Melee combat is weak.

There's a loosely woven story that keeps the game moving along. The cut-scenes are well-done. What doesn't make sense, at times, are the number of bosses that appear in the game, which seem totally unrelated to anything that is going on from Hayden's viewpoint. Most of the bosses are extremely time-consuming to figure out -they are puzzles themselves. There are no health meters on the bosses, so you never know if what you're doing is actually working.

From a replay-value perspective, you may be compelled to play the game at least twice, since completing the single-player campaign unlocks the "brutal" difficulty, worth an achievement. There are a few achievements dedicated to online play, which this game supports. However, the online population for this game has been very small.

This game has probably been overlooked by many gamers. The environments, bosses, and gameplay may seem dated, but the glaive and its unique abilities make the game rewarding and fun. I'm glad I picked it up.

if you remember back even before the 360 launched, this was actually the very first next gen game announced. it was originally intended to be a launch title. 2 and a half years later we finally get the game. and believe me, it was worth the wait.

the cover system is very reminiscent of Gears of War with 3rd person shooter controls very similar to the previously mentioned GoW and Resident Evil 4. masterfully combine those shooter elements with upgradable supernatural abilities including a razor sharp disk that can decapitate enemies in a single throw. it can also be combined with different elements including electricity.

there is a very interesting story behind your character and the world around you. the planet is in such a dark and desolate state. how did the world come to this point? who or what are you? what role will you play in the events about to unfold? play to find out.

the graphics are stunning even on a SDTV. textures and lighting equal to any other AAA title on the system(CoD4/Bioshock). Animations run very smoothly with great effects to compliment it all. the sight of your electified blade is priceless.

there is online play, but i cant comment on that since i havent played that part yet. the single player alone is well worth the price though. mainly recommended to hardcore action/shooter fans.

I've only had this about an hour, but it looks cool. I really liked splinter cell conviction and especially the deniable ops portion of it. The installation instructions for this add-on pack were not clear to me so hopefully I can help some others out.

Here is how you have to enter the license key to make the extra content available:

1) Download and install "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction(tm) Insurgency Pack" (amazon makes the key available during download and also it will be available in 'your games' section of amazon.com)

2) Launch the game "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction(tm)"

3) From within the game menu, enter your unique key in Extras -> Exclusive Content -> (Push 'Y' on xbox 360 controller) Redeem Code menu

Hope this helps,

Brian

Though long-time fans have complained campaign in Splinter Cell Conviction, the Deniable Ops mode has been well-received. Deniable Ops lets you pick a map, loadout, gameplay style, single or multiplayer, and off you go pure stealth, no frills, no embarrassing torture scenes that make you cringe.

My personal favorite is the single-player Infiltration mode do not be seen not even once. Thrilling and satisfying for stealth fans, especially since enemy location is randomized, lending great replay value.

The Insurgency Pack adds new maps to Deniable Ops. This is bread and butter if you like Deniable Ops. The maps installed without a hitch and were up and running within minutes. If you don't see them in the selection menu, make sure you scroll down with the arrow keys there is no scrollbar indicator, a major design flaw.

Highly recommended for fans of Conviction's Deniable Ops.

I own all of the Splinter Cell Series PC games and they are among my favorites. I recently purchased

Splinter Cell Conviction and I really enjoyed playing it, and I was really delighted when I purchased Splinter Cell Insurgency Pack as an add on to Splinter Cell Conviction. The game is very

challenging and has great graphics. I recomend this game very highly. I hope that they continue the

Splinter Cell series, even though Sam Fisher (the main character) is growing older.

I enjoy this game alot. It has great motocross action and a bunch of nice tracks. This game also comes with a track editor. The only thing I dont entirely like about the game is the way you aquire cash to improve your bike. You have to do these silly "how to jump, brake, powerslide, etc.." short missions to get your cash to start racing. Also the improvements on your bike and the different types of bikes are not listed in your manual. So, I dont have any idea if the bikes handle differently or what the different type of brakes, suspension, etc...does for each bike...guess its trial and error. Other than that, this is a solid game and I really enjoyed it alot.

We love this game on PS2. Only problem, no internet play. This game is xboxlive compatable. So I guess I'm going to have to get the xbox, xbox live and this game to beat people online. This game is perfect. Someone complained that the game is too realistic on the PS2. My wife grew up on motocross tracks and I grew up riding them. This game is perfect. Were giving this as christmas gift to all our families. Plus since you can build your own tracks the game play is unlimited. The freestyle and the mini games are fun, but we prefer racing.

MX superfly is really cool because you can get so much air in the game but, sometimes the tricks that you can do are so fake but, what I really like about MX superfly is that you can do a great tail whip unlike MX 2002.Another thing is that you cant make your own player in MX superfly. Also the landing in MX superfly is really really bad.Even the greatest player at MX superfly can't land from big air.So I think im going to stick with MX 2002.

Okay, I don't write many reviews unless the item makes a huge impact in the quality of life, and this one did.

1. This adapter is multi-functional and everyone should have at least one of these in their home.

a. This adapter will hook up to your PS3, and Xbox 360 with ease and run flawlessly

b. This item can also be used on various other devices such as your Direct T.V. box and your internet ready T.V. if your T.V didn't come with a wireless interface. For example, my Mitsubishi 73738 didn't come with a wireless card built in, so I connected one of my Madcatz adapter to its Ethernet port to obtain internet for the T.V. Likewise, you can use this device to give your Direct T.V. box access to the internet without using a hard line. I am using an HR-22 box from Direct T.V. just so you know.

Hook up is not that hard, I bypassed the CD entirely and hooked it up manually. However, this can be a pain for anyone who has not hooked up a device like this manually before. I will leave the procedure below to help you set yours.

1. Whatever computer you plan to configure this device with, disconnect it from the internet, UNLESS its hooked up wirelessly, then you can leave it connected.

2. go into your configuration for your ethernet port on your computer and change the IP address to 10.10.10.4 with a subnet of 255.255.255.0

3. After you do that, connect the Madcatz adapter to your Ethernet port. Next, open a browser and type in 10.10.10.254 and hit enter. You should now be looking at the login screen for your Madcatz adapter. Both the username and password is admin.

4. Once your logged into the adapter, select the folder that says, Site Survey.

5. Click the radio button next to your router or the router you want this device to use for the internet, then select Add Profile.

6. A window will pop up. Add in the same encryption that is on your router here along with the phrase or keyword used to access this router. When you are done here, click apply and your done. Dont forget to set your computers IP address back to "Obtain IP by DHCP" or whatever it was set to prior to configuring this Mad Catz Adapter. Incidentally, I am currently on the internet using the mad catz adapter on my laptop.

Side notes, and summary;

1. You must changed your computers LAN (Local Area Connection) IP address (not your Wireless Network Connection) to 10.10.10.4; subnet 255.255.255.0 do not skip this step

2. Hook up Madcatz to your Ethernet Port, bring up a browser, type 10.10.10.254, and login using username; admin, password admin

3. Access and configure ONLY the Site Survey folder, don't open any other folder, YOU DON'T NEED THEM!. If you do, and you dont know what your doing, consider yourself screwed.

4. Select your router in the list of routers you see and hit Add Profile. 9 times out of 10, this area will already be configured with the encryption of your router. The only thing you normally have to update is the encryption phrase or passkey. Your adapter will normally pull all the information it needs to configure itself, however it will need you to enter whatever the passkey or phrase is.

5. Click apply, close the browser, disconnect the router from your computer and hook it up to your Xbox to test.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO UNDERSTAND

1. Be aware that your router maybe older and if you haven't updated the firmware in awhile, now maybe a good time. This is a newer device.

2. If this device disconnects from the network periodically, it may have lost its DHCP address and needs a new one. I suggest telling your router to lease the address to the MadCatz Adapter indefinitely, so there is no overlap and conflicting addresses.

3. I strongly suggest using the Web based application only to set up this device. Contrary to earlier post by others, you DO NOT need the CD to set this device up through Web based.

4. Finally, if you set this device up correctly, its extremely fast. Its faster than my D-Link USB Wireless N. Testing this device against a USB D-LINK wireless N was no contest. The madcatz adapter hooked up to my laptop performed faster, downloading page request from the internet quickly. As noted earlier, this device can be used to provide wireless to a range of devices to include, desktop computers, laptops, Xbox360, internet ready T.V's, PS3, DIRECTV and so on (I've tested this device on most of these).

Good luck!

I'd thought mine was broken cause I was following all the instructions from various sources. It turns out there's one thing you MIGHT have to do that no one mentioned to me. I'll note a couple of small issues here some people might get caught by.

1. One reviewer on a different website claimed their unit didn't hold it's settings if it was powered off. This may cause problems in using the adapter for some, but mine didn't have that problem.

2. In my case, the only thing that was actually holding me back from getting it to work? The xbox 360 needed to be set back to it's factory defaults. After that it connected like a charm, no problem in the slightest.

I don't really know any other tips to give that aren't covered right there in the manual, it's really very simple besides such small issues.

Best Deals for Xbox 360/PS3 - Wireless Gaming Network

This wireless N adapter works flawlessly. The nay sayers consider it an inconvenience to have to connect it to your PC first but it's easy as 1-2-3. It takes less than 3 minutes to configure and you are up and running. I was lucky enough to pick this up from an Amazon seller for $20.00 and is well worth the $49.00 that most Amazon sellers are selling it for. It's cheaper than the Microsoft adapter and well worth it. The other reviewers must have had other home network issues because it is a breeze to get up and running. I was enable to configure it in Windows 7 64 Bit with zero problems. There are many negative revies on this product here at Amazon but let me tell you this thing has worked flawlessly quite a few days now. The key is not to use auto channel selection within your wireless router settings. This thing is so easy to configure Stevie Wonder could do it. You don't have to be a computer tech to set it up. If you just use the disc that comes with it and follow the on screen instructions you should have no problem. If you find yourself in the network adapter properties of your computer in Windows 7 just keep clicking every item in the box until the property tab allows you to select it. Then set the ip to the one suggested on setup. When you'r done just change it back to obtain ip address automatically. If you set it up properly you wont be dissapointed.

Honest reviews on Xbox 360/PS3 - Wireless Gaming Network

After reading over many of the other reviews I thought to my self, "I can do this." I really didn't think it would be a big deal at all.

My first attempt to get this thing hooked up I chose to configure it via the web method with the CD. I went through all of the steps which the CD lays out for you very well. Step by step it really only take about 15 minutes using the CD. However after finishing the process I went back to my 360 hooked it up fired it up and....NOTHING. So that made me a little frustrated.

The Second attempt: I go back to my router and I knew that I had a WPS button on my router so I decide to give that method a shot. Again the CD walks a person through all of the steps very well and leaves fairly little room for human error so long as you are able to follow instructions. However this all ended with the same result. So now I'm not frustrated. I'm Mad. I just paid a bunch of money for an item that does not work. So I gave myself a cooling off period and I let it be for a few days.

Third Attempt: I decide to go back and do the web method again and follow the CD walk-through again. Maybe I did something wrong the first time. I go through all of the steps and hook it back up and to my surprise it tapped right into X Box Live and I was on playing Modern Warfare 2 without any problems....

However soon after that I found that it was having an increasing difficulty connecting with my router. I found that rebooting the modem sometimes helps, rebooting the router helps sometimes, rebooting the product under review helped sometimes. However now it does not seem to be working well at all as I have not been able to get onto X Box live for three days now and this is more than a little annoying. In this case read the negative reviews and understand the risk you are taking before you buy this plastic piece of garbage.

If I were to start this over again. I would by the Microsoft adapter and would have been done with it.

The Alpha Anthology, is so far the best port of any Street Fighter collection. It includes five games (SF Alpha, Alpha 2, Alpha 2 Gold, Alpha 3, and Gem Fighter), as well as two unlockable games (Hyper SF Alpha and a "bonus" version of SF Alpha 3).

The graphics and music of the five titles are perfect, just like the original arcade games themselves. If you have a wide-aspect ratio TV, you'll be treated to full arcade goodness if not, you can modify the aspect ratio so that it fits a standard TV. Controls are also flawless, much like those of the Anniversary Collection.

The unlockable games are as follows:

"bonus" SF Alpha 3: It's SF Alpha 3 with more fighting styles, and all (most?) the Street Fighter characters, drawn Alpha-style. This includes characters that have never before made it into Alpha games like Balrog and Fei Long, and some that are brand new. When played alone, this game is very difficult.

Hyper SF Alpha: Very similar to SF Alpha 3 (in fact, I'm not sure what the exact differences are, in terms of gameplay), but can only be played against another opponent. Includes the same characters as "bonus" SFA3.

In addition, all Alpha games include a Versus mode with full win/loss tallying, a Dramatic Battle mode in which two players (Human/Human or Human/CPU) simultaneously take on a single CPU player and a Survival mode, which places you against opponent after opponent, refilling only a portion of your life bar after each match.

To sum it up, the Alpha Anthology is the best SF collection Capcom has released. Here's to hoping that the Darkstalkers and Marvel series will follow a similar suit.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

The Street Fighter Alpha series has always been a fun variation on the tried and true Street Fighter series. The game play here is on level with with pretty much all of the other SF games (Capcom has rarely failed to live up to the expectations they have been shouldered with after creating such an amazing franchise) so there's nothing to worry about here.

The reason this game gets a 3 star rating instead of a 4 or 5 is because of the content they have included and excluded. Capcom has already shown that they know how to do a proper anthology set with both the Mega Man anthology and the Street Fighter anthology. However, with SSAA, there is no promo material to view, no real extras at all. All you get are more characters, more game modes that vary only the slightest bit from all of the other games.

The largest disappointment is the lack of a World Tour mode in Street Fighter Alpha 3. The original console releases for PSX and Saturn included a gameplay addition called World Tour mode, which allowed you to travel the globe fighting different opponents but under specific challenging circumstances. You might face two Guiles, and only be able to hurt them with special attacks, or need to get a perfect when facing a rush of Rolentos in order to advance. This was not only a great way to practice and hone your skill outside of arcade mode and training, but also allowed you to power up and further customize your character, save it and use it in regular matches.

Instead of including this or any promo material, or worthwhile bonuses we are given hidden versions of the game that are absolutely meaningless. Instead of simply including the extra characters in the original game, or giving us fighting style options, they provide two games that are incredibly superfluous. One is Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, which is SFA3, with a few more characters (who could have easily been included in the original SFA3) as well as Hyper Street Fighter Alpha. HSFA does exactly what I suggested earlier, in that it allows you to switch playing style between the 3 games. The fact that an entire extra game was included because of this is a waste.

Ultimately, this is a great collection. The games are fun. The characters are a blast and interesting. The art direction is superb and the graphics hold up surprisingly well for a 2d fighter. The mechanics of the game are wonderful to learn and utilize and it would take you months to "master" the entire roster of characters. While I realize this seems like a very negative review, the game is absolutely wonderful. However, I can not hide my dissapointment with their failure to do the Alpha series justice, like were able to successfully do with Mega Man and SSFII.

Best Deals for Street Fighter Alpha Anthology - PlayStation 2

My favorite game in the entire catalog of games available across all consoles and arcade machines is Street Fighter Alpha 3. My PSOne copy was one of my most prized possessions and unfortunately for me, it got stolen and I immediately sought a replacement. Of course, nowadays getting a good copy of SFA3 is challenging in many respects so in my search I stumbled upon Street Fighter Alpha Anthology. This discovery led to the following comparison points:

1) This is a much cheaper alternative than the original PSOne version of SFA3 and of course, it is new.

2) This is a PS2 game, which offers better compatibility with my PS2 Slim. I play some old-school PSOne games on that console and sometimes it has a little trouble reading the older disks.

3) The PS2 disk has several of my favorite fighting games piled together.

THE OLD STUFF WE LOVE.

The characters have not changed their appearance at all in each of the corresponding games in the disk and their moves have remained intact. Also, the timing and rhythm of the fights is the exact same found in the original releases of the games featured. Costume changes, secret characters and levels, cheats, character stages, super combo finish screens, game options, among other goodies we love from the old games are there. Most of the original music is featured except in SFA2, where in some levels the music is the same but with different sounds and this is not a big deal at all. The story-lines, the rivalries, and the character endings are the same as in the original games as well.

SURPRISES?!

Yes, some things have changed. If I am good at any game, it would be any of the games in the Alpha series so believe me when I spot little differences from the original in terms of gameplay, artificial intelligence, graphics, music, you name it. Across all games, the first thing you notice is how much more difficult it is to fight the CPU than in the original games. Even at the highest difficulty I was able to dominate the CPU except a few characters (Shin Akuma, Evil Ryu, and sometimes Zangief) in my PSOne version of Alpha 3 for instance. In Anthology, every round is a struggle for survival and a great challenge and I love it. I haven't felt so challenged by a fighting game in a long time and this increased difficulty is quite delightful. Also delightful is the amount of game modes you can unlock to eventually get all the game modes featured in all of the original games and more (such as the Hyper Street Fighter Zero, Dramatic Battle Survival Mode, among others). Ironically, most of the changes have been done in the latest installment of the series, SFA3. I am sorry to say that the World Tour Mode is gone and with it, the ability to customize your character and use it in battle. Also gone are the vital stats of each character (weight, height, age, etc.) shown when you select your favorite in the original release...very sad because I liked that feature but I'll get over it. In an effort to simplify the game a little bit, the health bar is now of only one solid color (remember how in Alpha 2 and 3 the health bar when full spans from green to yellow?...now it is solid yellow), which is ok with me. The animation for each of the hits onscreen has changed across all games, making each of the hits more noticeable with a starburst effect when they land on the opponent whether he/she is guarding or not (this is a cool improvement I think because the hits look more dramatic). Some of the entrance animations of some of the characters have changed slightly but in a good way, giving the characters a fresher look right before the fight.

Am I happy? Absolutely. This is an excellent compilation of games which features classic fighting action, more challenging gameplay for advanced players and wonderful VS action for those occasions when your friend needs to be taught a lesson.

Like the alpha series? Get this. Very straightforward arcade ports, but just scads of fun to play. I feel the SF series hit it's peak with these games, cool characters, varied fighting styles, and tight, strategic gameplay.

I haved had this for about a month. Got it as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it. His friends stated they can hear him clearly and my bf doesn't seem to have problems with the way it fits or any static. Great headset for the price. Wonderful Value.!

T works pretty good the problem is the wire is very thin and cheap. You can see the wires at the tip of the plug. Would not buy from them again

Unfortunately I didn't get a single use out of the headset because the plastic snapped as soon as I tried to put it on my head. I would suggest extreme care when trying to use this item (if it hasn't broken already). I guess you get what you pay for!

Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army is one of those game that catches you by surprise. Not for the amount of content, but for the amount of fun and time you end up spending playing this creepy, yet extremely fun game.

The premise is simple, you and 3 more players battle hordes of zombies, from normal slashing zombies, to sniper zombies, heavy gunners, suicide freaks and bosses.

The graphics are sharp, but for the highest settings, you may need a decent PC, I have a high end PC, but don't always use all the highest settings, sometimes a few settings set to off can improve game performance. I did not experience any frame issues and not once did I experience any lag during MP.

Mulitiplayer connections are stablished without any headaches. You can start a game with only 2 players, which is cool by me, specially if there isn't many players around or if you get the usual player whom can't wait for a room to fill up and leaves. Well, like I said, with this game, you simply start the game and have all the fun you can.

The game is a third person view game, but will switch to FPS as soon as you zoom in, but only with the sniper rifle, after all, it is call "Sniper Elite". Which brings my next point, you get 3 weapons and 4 types of explosives. The weapons are: a sniper rifle of course, a sub-machine gun and hand gun, all WWII style of course. You get plenty of ammo for the sniper rifle, about 100 rounds, but you get very limited ammo for the machine and hand gun. Once you pop a zombie, you can press E next to his body and loot him for goods, mostly granades and ammo. The machine and hand gun are used for emergencies, at least that's what I do, for when a re-load on your sniper rifle might take too long.

Explosives include granades, land mines, trip wire and charges, all of which, except the granades, can be detonated by shooting at them if that's what you choose to do.

You start the game with your buds or by yourself and must make your way to a safe house, where you can re-stock on ammo, but your secondary weapons may not always get all the ammo you need, which you must get from hit zombies instead. From each safe house, you must move to the nex point, to another safe house then to finally fight a boss, which by the way ,is not easy at all; again, team work and carefuly placed explosives do the trick.

If you played "Sniper Elite" for the 360/PS3 then you know what the "X-ray kill cam" after-shot is. If not, well, when you hold your breath, with E, you get a steady shot, that when hits a zombie on a strategic place, the camera will switch from your sniper view to a small cut scene (very short one) that will take view of the bullet leaving the barrel, traveling and hitting the zombie, whom will have an x-ray vision of his body and the bullet tearing him apart. THIS HOWEVER is only visible on SP, during MP, you still get the cut scene, but it is about half a second and you only see the zombie being hit, no X-ray. This works perfectly, because in MP, the chaos is that much greater and you must remain vigilant and ready for more zombies coming at you.

The game has 3 different experience levels or difficulty if you must. Cadet, Marksman and Sniper Elite.

If you've played games such as Killing Floor or Left 4 Dead, then you'll be right at home with Sniper Elite. The controls are simple, yet effective. I use a Logitech mechanical keyboard (G710+) and 2012 Razer Mamba and they both work great.

Like the title of my review says, this is a Steam Activated game, so no need to download the file from Amazon, simply copy and paste the product key or code, then activate on your Steam account.

All in all. Even though there are only a few maps available for this game, they do have and pack a punch, they are full of excitement, fun and plenty of action. I had my doubts at first, quite honestly, but my doubts were put to rest as soon as I started my very first game, OFF line may I add, once I tried the MP, I was totally hooked (played 5 hours straight) and soon realized that this game is the best $15 I've spent in a while.

Good luck....

This is a fun little zombie shooter. It has the look and feel of a mashup between Left 4 Dead and the Nazi Zombie mode from the Call of Duty series. There are 5 scenarios that you can play through with up to 3 of your friends. As you traverse each scenario, you get to shoot down quite a lot of zombies, skeletons, magically enhanced jumping snipers, suicide bombers, and heavy duty machine gunners while trying to make it to the next safe room. Each scenario does have an end to it, usually by way of a massive zombie horde or a ghostly boss that summons lesser zombies to his aid.

The game definitely has its exciting moments. The suicide bombers, in particular, can create some intense, and hilarious, situations. My chief complaint with this game is with its replayability. After you've played the maps once or twice, you'll be able to avoid all of the GOTCHA!! moments and should have very little trouble with the finales. This feels very much like a "once and you're done" kind of game. If the company were to Introduce more scenarios as well as a randomizer, this game would have legs.

This game is okay. In Singleplayer it gets pretty boring after about an hour or two because it's mostly just your character running around killing waves of zombies. But in the Co-op mode it instantly becomes a very fun game. The zombies are kind of gimmicky, and the base game (Sniper Elite V2) is much better, but hey, for the $5 I got it for, (it frequently goes on sale for $5) I'd say it's worth it. I'll give it a 7.5/10

First off, I bought my controller when it was on the daily special at the reduced price of $19.99 and I am still on the ropes for returning it. Mind you, I rarely return anything, but let me explain to you why I am considering it.

The Good:

The matte finish. (Feels nice)

The dimpled or concave analog feels more comfortable than the original rounded or convex PS3 analog IMO.

The "combat buttons" are a neat concept

Larger size for those with larger hands

The L2 and R2 triggers are curved more like an actual trigger.

The rubber grips are a nice touch

Comes with a nice long Micro USB chord.

The Bad:

The analog responsiveness during game play is jumpy opposed to the smooth motion of the original PS3 controller because there is about one quarter of a centimeter dead zone with the analog before you see any motion on the screen meaning playing fast paced FPS games is practically impossible unless you like getting stomped on because you miss so much.

The buttons are a bit stiffer and the R2 and L2 triggers grind against the controller when pressed. It doesn't necessarily affect the response, but it feels and sounds cheap.

The Start button is very awkwardly placed between the analogs so tightly that you have to maneuver to hit it.

The "combat buttons" DO NOT work for all games. I tried with MW2 and the sprinting function would not work with the assigned action buttons.

The d-pad is a joke. It is clunky, LOUD and unresponsive. G'luck playing anything that requires extensive use of it.

You cannot turn on your PS3 with this controller.

Curiously, you may map the X button which is the closest button to the right analog, but you cannot map the triangle button which is the furthest button from the right analog. Huh..? O_o

The Neutral

The LED lights sounds cool, but they're actually gimmicky and distracting. Luckily, you can turn them off.

The receiver takes up a USB slot.

Over all main factors that may lead to the return of this controller? Well, obviously it is the buttons. I can forgive the combat buttons incompatibility and the odd button placements, but what really gets me is the loud clunky cheap buttons with that abomination of a d-pad. Worst of all, the dead zone analog makes playing any FPS intolerable with this supposed FPS controller. I've also noticed that Netflix navigation has a lag time with the analog and using the d-pad is like pulling teeth for the previously mentioned reason. The price I paid is the ONLY reason I am considering keeping the controller as it may be fine for other games that don't require such precision analog motion...but I am sitting here asking myself, why should I pay for anything that cannot work well on all my games? It'll likely go back.

I bought it for cheap at 20 bucks, so if you're thinking of paying anything above that, you're crazy. Just buy the OEM PS3 controller...especially if you're looking at a mere 5 dollar price difference at retail.

I'm not by any means a professional gamer, but I'm not a casual gamer either. I love shooters, and because I love shooters, I want a controller that is smooth and responsive. The GR:FS gamepad is a beautiful looking controller. It also has some great ideas like the button mapping on the back of the controller. But unfortunately, for me, the cons outweigh the pros. For starters, I'm a big fan of the dual shock controller for the PS3. The analog sticks are smooth and extremely responsive. But the Gamepad's analog sticks are clunky and unresponsive. When playing Ghost Recon or Call of Duty, you want to be accurate. From the moment I started playing with the Gamepad, it was irritating, because I would push the sticks to aim and it felt as though there was a delay in response, then suddenly my cursor would move and I would be off from my target. Also, I want to note, that I adjusted sensitivity in the games I tried the Gamepad on several times and it is consistently sloppy.

Next, I didn't like the d-pad on the controller. It seemed unresponsive almost every time I pushed on it. Sometimes it would select things opposite of what I was trying to select. Lastly, the bumpers and triggers felt big and clunky. I gave the product 2 stars because it just didn't work for me. I realized this could be personal preference, but if you are a serious gamer, I would avoid purchasing this controller. The dual shock controller is much better in regards to performance. If your not a serious gamer and you feel I'm being picky, pick it up and give it a shot for yourself. Hope this helps!

I got this when I purchased Ghost Recon on PS3 and being about to remap my buttons is AMAZING. I love the backlighting and the rechargeable battery was a great bonus.

Honest reviews on Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Pro Gamepad Controller for Playstation 3

Now i don't know why people are talking bad about this controller its one of the best I've played with

The r1 and l1 are larger than on a regular controller so its great for shooters then the r2 and l2 are curved like gun triggers which makes them really reliable

It does have a matte finish and grips

Now the combat buttons well in the right three have a switch that can be set to square, circle, x and then the last option lowers the sensitivity of the right joy stick which you'll only use may be for sniping but i wish it was replaced with triangle the farthest button from the joy stick

The lowered sensitivity is that sniping thing it talks about now the left side for the combat buttons it had down right and up remapping options and also lower the sensitivity for the left stick

Now one problem i did have but you will always have with a d pad that is one solid piece is that sometimes if you press up it will also hit left or right but its not that big a problem because you can use the combat buttons and also it isn't that bad it will go where you push it

The leds are really bright the thing does come with a usb that connects the controller but there is no lag or any problems

the battery last for quite a while i went a few days of playing like 4 and the thing would not run out of battery so i chargered it so it wouldn't die on me but I've owned for about a month and have only charged it like 4 times

It had only small flaws but otherwise the controller is perfect and i highly recommend it and not to mention the price is great compared to a regular playstation controller which is like 60

So buy this controller

...but is that really saying much? Fortunately, yes.

Again, SEGA is innovating with its mascot character. Now, our brave young hedgehog has been summoned back to the realm of King Arthur, charged with saving the lands from the King's recent evil transformation and tyranny. At once we are presented with an opening cinematic that is rather well executed (the ravens are particularly good), though not quite as polished as the stunning first movie of Sonic Unleashed. Here is where Sonic is summoned by the granddaughter of Merlin----Merlina. After a brief confrontation with King Arthur, Merlina whisks Sonic and herself away to a safe location.

Here is where the player comes in. The first two levels are simple tutorials, where one learns how to control Sonic and wield the sword, traversing across a field filled with wooden targets. Right away, the player discovers the nature of the gameplay. The way Sonic travels is the same as in Sonic and the Secret Rings. Sonic can travel on only a narrow path through a three-dimensional world, generally only forward. There is no manual camera control, and if one wishes to retrace their steps, the camera does not follow Sonic's movements, forcing the player to walk into places they cannot see. This takes some getting used to, and is admittedly not my personal favorite method of gameplay. I much prefer the free-roaming three-dimensional environments of games like Sonic Unleashed and Super Mario 64. However, it is unique, and certainly acceptable once the player becomes familiar with the layout. Concerning the game's controls, they are very fluid and responsive. The swordplay is controlled by the movement of the Wii Remote, and adds a fun, interactive element to the game. Do not expect the sword to follow the Remote's movements exactly, as it only follows the direction the Remote is swung in, but this method is fun nonetheless. It is a lot funner than slamming down button combinations. Also, there are plenty of little goodies one can collect along the way. Some of these can be used to give Sonic better abilities, or forge new weapons for the other playable characters (Shadow the Hedgehog, Knuckles the Echidna, and Blaze the Cat, which are unlocked during the course of the game).

The story is quite well written, I believe. Some have said it is `too juvenile', but I wonder what they were expecting. It is a game for kids, is it not? And it is no sillier than most games, even ones that are constantly lavished with praise from the critics (Ratchet and Clank, anyone? Not that I dislike that series...). Really, the basic tale was not silly at all. I found it to have a timeless message concerning where our loyalties should lie. We are not to make idols out of mortals, obeying them even if it contradicts morality. Men are not infallible, no matter how they might have lived before. In addition, the humorous parts are actually funny, and there is not an unwanted character in the storyline. Also, as the game moves on, the story keeps getting better, with surprise twists and good messages, as well as touching moments.

How do the game environments stack up? They are masterfully done, from the graphic quality and lighting, to the incredibly minute detail (watch the thousands of individual grass blades blow in the wind). The sky is especially well done, and everything captures the feeling of a medieval world very well. When Sonic encounters the enemy knights (wispy creatures from the underworld that take the form of the armor they wear), his sword becomes very useful. It is fun to cut down these cloudy foes, but herein lies one of the game's less desirable traits. Here, the violence definitely warrants this title's E-10 rating. Though there is no blood, the way the smoke dissipates following an enemy's destruction imitates it rather well. Though it disappears quickly, this can get a little much over time.

Now we come to the music. The game's theme is good, mixing classical music with electric guitars rather well. The music in the menu screens is also well done----a good modern take on medieval music. Many of the levels themselves have very good music, with a minimum of electric guitar. But there are other levels (especially the boss battles) where the music suddenly becomes harder, and less connected with the feel of the game. This is the one major fault, in my opinion, of this game. Thankfully, hellish vocals are not constantly screaming in the background, like they are in Sonic and the Secret Rings. Even with this said, the score as a whole is excellent.

Overall, this is a very fun, enjoyable game. It is not perhaps as good as Sonic Unleashed, but it is still great. This is yet another title that shows Sonic is still running strong.

I don't care what the critics say, this is a great game. The graphics are good, the level design is unique, and it has great replay value. The worst you could say about the game is that Sonic having a sword is kind of a gimmick, but it's a gimmick that works and is fun. I rate this game 87/100.

Honest reviews on Sonic and the Black Knight - Nintendo Wii

This game rocks. The story is good, the controls are good, and the graphics and soundtrack rock. Also when doing the missions the game doesnt have high expectations to get top ranking in a level like most sonic games do. If you like sonic, pic this game up for a treat.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Sonic and the Black Knight - Nintendo Wii

I have not had this game for very long, but so far I am enjoying it very much. They have made vast improvements over the Sonic and the Secret Rings game, and the sword is a pretty neat addition. You can actually from side to side in this game, somewhat, unlike the last storybook sonic game.

If I had to complain about anything, I would have to say mainly it seems simple. Sonic does not move as fast as he does in Sonic Unleashed, but I guess that's because this game was more focused on being able to use a sword. If you could blast past and through everything, then the sword would be just about useless. Maybe it just seems simple because I have played just about every sonic game made.

Also some may like to know that it seems Blaze, Shadow, and Knuckles are somehow involved in the story line, or maybe just characters that resemble them. I have not gotten far enough through the game to see what happens with them though. There also is multiplayer battle modes, but I have not tried them yet either.

Anyway I give this a thumbs up over Sonic and the Secret Rings and recommend giving it a shot.

Sam & Max Hit The Road came out in 1993. 14 years ago. It was a huge success, heralded for its twisted brand of humor and memorable adventure game play. It spawned legions of fans that have been hanging out for the characters return for nigh over a decade.

In 2002, LucasArts announced that a sequel to "Hit the Road" was going into production. In 2004 with the game nearing completion they canceled it. Outrage in the form of 30, 000 signatures in an online petition greeted the news. Sam & Max are beloved characters and "Hit The Road" is considered a classic and one of the funniest games to ever be released.

Luckily ex-Lucasarts employees formed Telltale Games and have finally brought us a new Sam & Max game after 14 long years. Season 1 totals 6 episodes each about 4-5 hours in length. Sam & Max tackle a new case with each episode, while an overarching storyline pieces the episodes together.

The new Sam & Max game really retains that clever brand of humor of previous Sam & Max incarnations. Episode 1 gets off to a strong start. Episode 2 and 3 are quite funny but suffer from simplistic game play. The puzzles in these episodes won't give you any headaches. Episode 4, Abe Lincoln Must Die is where the series really reaches new heights. It's a hilarious romp in which Max runs for president against a robotic Abe Lincoln. The environments are fresh, and the puzzles require greater thought. The music across the entire series is absolutely brilliant. Jared Emerson-Johnson has created some wonderful and diverse jazz music to accompany the game. The voice acting is superb and really brings the characters to life. Episode 5 and 6 finish off the season strongly with more well designed puzzles, hilarious dialog and wacky adventures. Perfect material for Sam & Max to riff off. I can't recommend this game enough. If you want a good laugh and a return to games that are genuinely funny purchase this season. I can't wait for Season 2.

Adventure games have been sadly sparse these last 10 years or so. But this was always one of my favorite genres, even though I don't have quite the patience to get through a game without resorting to a hint here and there. The original Sam & Max was one of my favorite games for its sometimes crude humor and its clever puzzles. This definitely fits right in with the original, but in general has puzzles that are usually solvable with a little time and thought. Some may complain that a few of the episodes are too easy but I personally find it refreshing to be able to get through them without pulling all my hair out trying to figure out some complicated puzzle that involves dozen of things that have to be done in the right order with all the right items. There's still *plenty* of challenge here while also having a fun plot and humorous dialogue to keep you entertained.

Best Deals for Sam & Max: Season One

I've loved adventure games for a very very long time. Leisure Suit Larry, King's quest, Grim Fandango, Monkey Island etc... have always been favorites of mine. I've played many since then and while many are good in their own way, none seem to have been able to capture that creative funny spark which so many from Sierra and LucasArts in days past have been able to do.

When years ago we all learned that Sierra was bring back Leisure Suit Larry I was thrilled but that quickly turned to hate when I learned Al Lowe wouldn't even be part of the team and that it wasn't even Larry Laffer and thus we ended up with a subpar game IMO. Enter Sam and Max, hit the road was is a great game and if you haven't played this original I strongly suggest you do. The question is could this new season of short games after so many years keep up the level of par that the original held? For the most part as many others have said I am pleased to say yes. Season one is funny, held my attention and was fun to play. The puzzles overall are not that challenging which is probably the only let down. However all of them make logical (and comical) sense. If you have never played an adventure game, pick this one up as you owe it to yourself to see what a game from the adventure genre can do. Overall only some of the jokes are repetitive but it's a real blast to play. Four out of five stars only because I feel the puzzles could have been more difficult. I'd say the game is stuck between easy to intermediate and you shouldn't really need a walkthrough.

Honest reviews on Sam & Max: Season One

It's been a long time since Sam & Max: Hit the Road was released, and for about that long, I never thought I'd be able to see or afford the sequal-that-was-not-to-be. You can only imagine my surprise and unbridled joy when I learned that the Freelance Police were back with a new beat, a new look, and the same sarcastic wit that I know and love!

The game itself is still much of the same of what Hit the Road was, but obviously aimed for a demographic that doesn't want to spend a month doing everything. Something I no longer have time to do myself now that I'm out in the real world and not wasting away some high school weekend football game in front of my TV. While the individual episodes only take a few hours to finish, there is a mountain of hidden content in each of the episodes depending on what tasks you do and in what order you do them in. More often than not, you will find hidden jokes by simply using the wrong item in a very illogical way, which is how you also solve most of your puzzles.

Unfortunately, the overall plot is somewhat predictable. I was able to spot who the major villian was from the second episode, so the big reveal was no surprise. This is, thankfully, fixed by the episodic plots contained within each... uh, episode. Each adventure has their own plot twist or strange humor to keep them fun and engaging. The characters are fleshed out to the point where I can't help but like the side cast of crazies.

The production quality of the game is also something to be praised. The writing is on par with not only the past incarnations of Sam & Max, but that of the comics as well! The voice acting only gets better and better as you get deeper and deeper into the game, but they were still really well done from the first episode on. However, my personal favorite element of the game is the music! The sample soundtrack that comes with this version does nothing but leave me wanting more. (So much so, that I bought the official 2 CD soundtrack from the Telltale Games store.)

This game is a must own for anyone that wants to have a good time playing a video game but without the requirement of devoting a whole weekend to it. You can play one episode, take a break, and then pick up again weeks later if you want and still not miss out on the fun that is Sam & Max!

My only gripe is that my computer isn't good enough to see the game in all its high-quality graphic goodness.

I've been waiting for a new Sam and Max adventure since playing Hit the Road more than a decade ago. I'm glad that it's finally become reality.

I think the episodic nature works well for characters like Sam and Max.

But I do have a few complaints.

1. The voices. Obviously different voice actors are used, but I feel Sam's voice lacks the snarkiness he had in Hit the Road. He plays it too straight here. It's also kind of disappointing when you select a hilarious line of dialog for Sam to say, only to have Sam rephrase it in a straight manner.

2. Many puzzles are too easy. There are limited locations and limited objects, and some of the puzzles are too obvious. In Hit the Road, there was a large variety of objects, some useless, and it was much more challenging to figure out.

3. As mentioned in #2, there aren't that many places to go or people to talk to in each adventure. Everything has a purpose. It would be nice to through in a couple extra persons, places or things in each story.

Despite all that, it's still a worthwhile game. Hopefully they address some of the above in the recently-announced Season 2!

Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime is a downloadable title that just recently hit the consoles and PC market. You may not have heard much about it since the marketing of the game seems to have been a bit on the low, but I got wind of it and couldn't resist picking up a title based off of a childhood favorite. Does this downloadable title offer enough game for the $10 price tag or is it destined to be forgotten in the cesspool that is Slimers stomach? Read on to find out.

The game begins with a comic book style story intro. There's no voice work, just text in comic style on pictures. You are introduced to a strange artifact that originates over 4,000 years ago and is now wreaking havoc on NYC. You play as one of four rookie Ghostbusters who are helping the real Ghostbusters handle their large work load. The story does tie into the lore that we all know and love but don't expect anything state of the art in terms of storytelling. For the most part, you are just going to be shooting stuff.

Gameplay, as stated earlier, is pretty basic. You point and shoot. Ghosts will come from all directions and try to run into you or shoot stuff at you. You will travel through a level going through rooms, hallways, or streets and eventually come face to face with a boss ghost who takes a lot of punishment with a pretty big health bar. You will die a lot in this game and when you do, you can be revived. As long as someone is left standing the game will go on. Reviving someone consists of standing over their body and spamming the A or X button (consoles) or space bar (PC). The gameplay is fun enough, for a while, but after playing for a solid hour or so you'll begin to feel the tedium of exactly what you are doing. The enemies may change, the scenery may change, but you're really not doing anything different. You'll shoot and move throughout the level. Throughout levels you'll find pickups and collectibles, but it doesn't really help the game in the boring department. It jut gets old way too quick and you're left waiting for something, anything to happen that will mix up the gameplay. Keep waiting, it's not coming.

So, if you are a hardcore Ghostbusters fan, you probably don't even need to read a review about the game, you bought it and are making your own opinion of it. If not, you probably should avoid this one and go find another shooter. There's plenty of other games on the market that will offer a much better and varied experience than Ghostbusters: SoL.

My son has a PS2 Ghostbusters game, he LOVES the ghostbusters. He has been begging me for a long time for another game, I couldn't find another PS2 game but when I found this I was ecstatic. He loves it! I have watched him play it a few times and it seems true to me for ghostbuster style. The previous review mentioned about the voice over, I honestly see no issues with it. My son is happy so I am happy.

Reviews of 120GB Hard Drive HDD for Xbox 360 - Fast Speed 7200RPM

120GB Hard Drive HDD for Xbox 360 - Fast Speed 7200RPM

I used this hard drive to replace a 20GB stock (5400rpm) hard drive from an older (NOT slim) Xbox 360 console. I was able to quickly and easily transfer all my existing data to the new drive, which requires a transfer cable which is NOT included. I immediately noticed a decrease in loading times.

In order to take full advantage of the faster speed this drive offers, you should "install" the Xbox game you want to play to the hard drive. At the main dashboard, after inserting your game disc, press the X button to bring up additional options. One of them should be to install the game. You will still need the disc in the drive in order to play, but after launching the game your Xbox will load most data directly from the hard drive instead of from the game disc. This is MUCH faster, and also quieter than the sometimes noisy DVD drives that Microsoft put in these consoles.

It came with no instructions, but installation was easy and pretty self-explanatory.

If you do not have existing data to transfer from a different drive, simply connect the new drive to your Xbox and turn it on.

If you are replacing an existing drive and want to transfer your gamer profiles, installed games, DLC, saved games, etc., the process is still simple:

1. Connect the new hard drive to the front USB port on your Xbox using an Xbox Hard Drive transfer cable (http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Data-Transfer-Cable/dp/B003S9WJ9A/).

2. Power on your console. After booting you will get a prompt that a transfer cable has been detected. Follow the prompts to transfer your data to the new drive. ***Note: If you do not get the prompt automatically, try disconnecting and reconnecting the transfer cable with the console powered on.)

3. When transfer is complete, shut down your Xbox. Disconnect the transfer cable and remove the old hard drive from the Xbox. Connect the new hard drive to the Xbox and power it on.

4. The Xbox should automatically load up your default gamer profile. If any of your DLC doesn't work (sometimes the licensing doesn't transfer correctly) simply delete it and redownload it from the Xbox Live Marketplace. You should not be charged for it again as long as you are signed into the same account you used to purchase it.

The item shipped quickly and the shipping charges were reasonable. It's not quite as fast as the Amazon Prime shipping I've gotten used to, but worth waiting an extra day or two for this item. The packaging was appropriate and the item arrived in perfect condition. It looks just like a drive you would get from Microsoft.

Hope this helps!

Pros:

-fast shipping (to be fair, it came from Indiana and I live in Illinois)

-well packaged (I am grateful for that)

-120 GBs of memory for under 50$ is definitely worth it

Cons:

-the package had a sticker on it saying I would have saved close to 10$ (was under) if I bought it from their site. well, I definitely would have done that if I knew that before...

-I paid a little extra to get the "fast speed 7200RPM" to make my downloads faster and so far, I do not see a difference. As I am typing this, I am trying to download the "terminal map" for Call of duty Modern warfare 3 and it has been going on for about 10+ minutes now (72%). I figured the 7200 RPM would reduce the time it takes to download just 1 single map, but I feel like it downloaded faster the first time I did it.

Overall:

It is 120GB memory for under 50$ and that is definitely a good deal. So I do recommend this product and the company selling it.

Everything came exactly as it said it would. Setup was easy and the transfer took only a few minutes from my old hard drive. The only down side was that it didn't have the full 120 GB but I kind of expected that. Going from a 13GB hard drive to a 106 GB with faster speed is still a huge step up and worth the money.

I received the package in RECORD time, which surprised the *$%# out of me. It got to me (and I live in Alaska) in 4 days from the time I ordered it to the day my wife sent me the text saying it was on our doorstep. The contents were well packaged and nothing was scratched or tampered with. It was really easy to setup, if I can set it up then I guarentee that anyone else can. The kinect sits on top of my entertainment center next to my dvd player, and it works great. Even my shortie 3 year old son can play it (albeit he doesn't quite get the concept). All in all it is a great deal. The only thing I had a problem with was that in the bundle package, it's supposed to have two games and it only came with 1 hardcopy game. The second game has to be downloaded via wifi. I dont have wifi in my house, and I am probably the only one in the U.S. who doesn't. But other than that, no complaints.

Well, I already have an xbox 360 for myself. This purchase was for my niece, who has gone on forever about getting a kinect for her room. So, I bought her this one and so far, she's loving every minute of it. Kinect Adventures, she says, is fun and a good party game and she loves playing the carnival game. I couldn't get into that one myself but she seems to enjoy it tons.

Also, she's definitely loving all the kinect apps on the marketplace and now she wants dance central 2.

Anyway, this package seems to be a wonderful package for all ages, especially for the kids, and she just can't get enough of it.

11/26 My Grandson Loves it!!!! He wore himself out boxing today...he is 8 yrs old. I put the kinnect on the top of the desk and it works great. Have about less room than is recommended. I got the Holiday Bundle He loves the circus games...I loved watching him...He figured it out quicker than I thought...He loves the soccer game he beat me...It was the best thing I could have bought him...
