Buy Hotbarrels Clay Pigeon Shooting
This game is a little bit hard or not, depending on how you set it up. I love it and it is quite relaxing and fun. Anyone that shoots will like it and it is ball to try and beat.

The game hasn't really changed especially the graphics and this expansion doesn't do much.
Update the graphics and allow the game to continue with new leader after the old retires. Also a better transportation system is needed not just subways.Bottom line is this game with proper changes can be really fun again.

Excellent Game to try. I can't wait for Tropico 5 to come out. Great graphics and menus. Easy to figure out.Best Deals for Tropico 4: Modern Times Expansion Pack (Tropico 4 Full Version
I have loved every edition of this game. The new buildings were nice, the campaign was good. Hard but not too hard. I got a decent amount of hours of gameplay out of it. I can't wait for the next version.Honest reviews on Tropico 4: Modern Times Expansion Pack (Tropico 4 Full Version

I feel like I was suckered in by false/misleading advertising. Modern buildings permanently replace older buildings against your will. None of the reviews made this clear. Some of the "upgrades" make no sense. Why is the restaurant replaced with a huge, pirate ship-themed restaurant? Stick with the original and imagine you are playing this expansion.Saturday, September 27, 2014
Reviews of Hard Disk Drive Migration 320G HDD for Microsoft Xbox 360-Grey
I bought this game the other day when it was on sale for $111,174.28. I was pretty excited about getting it because I figured it was going to be a pretty awesome and rare game.
When it arrived in the mail, I realized that it's not really a game at all. It's just a plain old hard drive for an Xbox. The damn thing didn't even fit my xbox. I tried to take it to GameStop thinking maybe I could trade it in and get at least $100,000 back in store credit, then I could buy a franchise or something, but the stupid kid at the store wouldn't give me any more than $30. What a rip off! I'm pretty sure that kid thought I was some kind of idiot that doesn't know how much an xbox hard drive is worth.
I gave this review 3 stars because the thing does make a pretty good door stop, but normally I'd only pay about $50k for a doorstop of that quality.

Review of Toy Story 2 Action Game - PC
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $23.49
Sale Price: $17.99

This is a great looking game with beautiful colors, graphics, and backgrounds. The levels are challenging and extensive. Our favorite Toy Story characters are all here (although Woody doesn't show up until near the end). The puzzles vary in difficulty from kindergarten to adult.
The problem with the PC version is it's extreme awkwardness to control. The controls operate relative to where the character is, not the angle the the player is watching from. With a constantly adjusting camera angle, this makes for difficult navigation. Another tricky thing is the 3-D rendering. Most objects aren't visable until you are right next to them, which made finding them difficult.
This game is suggested for ages 8 and up. Some of the puzzles are appropriate for this age group, but I can't imagine an 8-year old getting past some of the levels. Some of the "missions" are so difficult that even an adult has to try them over and over and over to finish them. (Perhaps this is a plus for adults, though?)
Although this game was hard to get used to in terms of maneuvering (one never does "get used" to it exactly), and it was obviously created for use on a game system, and not on PC, it was a great-looking game with plenty of challenge to keep even adults busy for days. The bonus movies are a treat, and the hilarious clips make you WISH the movie was out on DVD already.
Some small annoyances:
1) 3D rendering is not done as well as in other games: Edges appear in walls, and far obects are partially rendered until you get close to them
2) Non-standard controller movement for reverse. In the game the main character does not back up, but instead turns around when the down arrow is pressed, and then the viewpoint then rotates behind the player. Very annoying when one just wants to move back a slight bit. This is very non-standard as all other 3d games just have the character backup slightly when the reverse button is pressed.
3) The gamepad direction movement is coarse. Hard to line up the player for a specfic jump using the buttonpad or joystick. Luckily, there are additional keys on the gamepad to allow you to rotate slightly to the left or the right. I've switched to using these buttons for turning around rather than the reverse button as the change in perspective (see above) is annoying.
4) Documentation/menu selection is negligible. This is the worst part of the game. There is apparently no way to pull up a menu to charge computer game settings. It's also not clear how to save the game; many times the only way to exit the game was to reboot the computer. The documentation supplied with the game is useless in this regards; it says to press the `start' button' which does not do anything. A series of pop-up menus linked to the ESC key is definitely missing here, and is a fatal flaw in the program.
Overall the idea is good, the game is enjoyable, the play situation and puzzles are intersting and challenging, but not excessively difficult to make it impossible for younger players. The main problem with the game that not enough attention has been paid to the details of game management and the interface to the rest of Windows. Perhaps this was just automatically translated from the playstation by a computer program, where one doesn't really care if one just hits the system reset button to exit the game. This game type of programming is about 10 years behind the times, and really shouldn't be have to be tolerated by windows game users anymore.
Other than that, pleasant music, good graphics and fun levels. Get it if you like unbelivably hard games.
Oh, PS. I noticed most of you give it one star because"it keeps shutting down". IT'S NOT THE GAME! IT'S YOUR COMPUTER! You need to update it.

This game is a great game. We got this game thru scholastic and have played ever since we got it. It has good graphics, sound effects, and even clips from the movie. To get more clips, you've got to win levels and zones. Right now, I am trying to beat Zurg! It's a great game and worth the money. It was easy to install and has never frozen up on us. It works perfectly every time.Best Deals for Toy Story 2 Action Game - PC
The 3 D action is similar to other games of the same genre, e.g croc and croc2, except the play area is much larger. Better graphics than Mario 3D, by far. Bright color schemes are top notch. Two boys, age six and eight, have made it about halfway through the game and enjoy playing it. The graphics are good and there is a mixture of easy and hard activities. No problems with black screens except when Buzz falls into the swimming pool. Running on a PC with windows '98.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Toy Story 2 Action Game - PC
I saw one review here that said" buzz is extremly hard to control" and "I can't see an 8 year old getting past it." I agree! Buzz IS extremly hard to control, it's probably easier on a PlayStation, and I'm 13 and this game is even hard for ME! I usually get used to a new game in no time, but this was real hard.Other than that, pleasant music, good graphics and fun levels. Get it if you like unbelivably hard games.

Buy Quake 2
I didn't realize that. I am a new and exuberant iMac user, and was eager to play Quake 2 on my system! Other experienced Mac users may know this, but I didn't realize that the term "Classic Environment" is Apple code for "It doesn't work on Macs anymore." So instead of a game, I have a coaster.

This is an oldie but goodie that begs for multiple replays as you explore an entire game world with many, many levels and adventuring environments. You are a marine sent to an alien planet after the aliens attack Earth. You are supposed to be part of a platoon or company of marines that are going to attack the enemy Strogg, but the rest of your unit is killed, and you're on your own. You fight your way through the levels and adventuring areas of the game, picking up better gear as you go and laying waste to what I felt was an annoyingly small number of enemy types. The enemy units that are here are interesting, but there aren't enough of them. This is the only ding I have in what is otherwise one hell of a fun game. The weapons are great, even though I wondered where your marine put them all when he wasn't using them, and defeating the different levels was always fun. The game is well thought-out, with each level providing different challenges. There are a number of hidden levels and hidden ammo/weapon caches throughout the game, these were a good time to find and can give you some butt-kicking equipment several levels ahead of where those weapons would normally be available. This game is dated now but still fun to play if you have the equipment, and if you're a young gamer with the right system on your computer, this old game will reward your time and effort with good, clean fun.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Quake 2
If Unreal was not quite your thing but you like this type of action game or if your looking for a little no bot action this games for you. Multi-player is a bit lacking but then again their Quake 3 that is better in action and multi-player. But Quake 2 has a very good story and the flys are so much better than Unreal.Tuesday, August 12, 2014
Best MDK 2 Deals
Soul Calibur is fantastic. Jet Grind Radio is innovative. Metropolis Street Racer is addictive. However, looking back now that the DC is fading away, MDK2 is the system's best game.
Why didn't more people buy it?
The visuals are unmatched in console gaming. Even the PS2 version of MDK2 is graphically inferior. The sequence where Kurt must glide from platform to platform is absolutely jaw-dropping...and that's on the FIRST LEVEL. The alien city of Swizzle Firma looks like it was taken straight out of The Fifth Element -vehicles buzz everywhere with no looping or random placement. Everything, from the glowing tip of Max's cigar to Shwang Shwing's snail-like spacecraft, is rendered with meticulous attention to detail and loving care.
Forget Gunbird 2 and Bangai-O. Good games in their own right, yes, but they can't compare to MDK2's challenge. This is the Ultimate Hardcore Game. Climbing the tower with Max's jetpack on level 8 or diffusing the bombs as Doc Hawkins on level 6 will take any gamer a loooong time to complete. But the game always rewards your efforts by taking you to another fantastic environment and presenting a task that is guaranteed to raise your blood pressure. The feeling of victory and accomplishment when successfully navigating these challenges is what gaming is all about.
As games become more mainstream, they are becoming easier in order to recruit more fans. A major tip of the hat to BioWare for crafting the first visually stunning 3D game that retains the challenge of 2D games of the past. The PS2 version of MDK2 contains helpful hints (like Big Red Arrows saying SHOOT HERE) that make the game less than what it's intended to be -really a shame.
The ONLY negative comment I have about MDK2 is that the levels with Kurt are slightly more creative and fun than the Max and Doc levels. I think that if MDK2 had been 10 levels of Kurt, it would have easily been my Favorite Game of All Time. Still, the Top Three isn't bad....control, visuals, audio, even the ludicrous story are all some of the best in the industry.
MDK2 is a gorgeous, genius mix of reflex-driven action and brain-numbing puzzles that no gamer should pass up.
There are three charcters to control, each has their own type of level and controls. Kurt, has a sniper scope helmet, so his levels usually have something to do with shooting distant objects or targets. Max, the robotic dog, carries four guns. His levels are pretty much carnage. And finally, Dr. Hawkins. Being the ingenius scientist that he is, his levels are primarilly complex puzzles.
The controls are a bit strange and take a while to get used to. the A, B, X, and Y buttons control the character. A makes the character move forward, Y backwards, et cetra. The analog stick is the camera stick.
If you want to spend 120+ hours on one video game, then buy this one. I must be insane, because I don't know anyone else that is this obsessed with a like this. Anyone that plays this game at my house gives up after 10 minutes, so be prepared to die a lot and have to redo many sequences multiple times.
The music in MDK 2 is amazing, a great selection of techno and trance, you will see how well the music fits in with the game.
An example of how hard the game gets: In the eight level, (Max is used here), there is a giant nuclear tube that you must climb using a jetpack that automatically refuels when not being used. Around the walls are very small platforms to land on. You must slowly ascend the giant piller stepping platform to platform, while having to deal with 20 or so little spheres that home in on you and shoot. After you finish this painful climb, you realize pointing the camera up, that you are 1/8 done! Now a vertical climb stopping on platforms that are placed above eachother, some that can't be stepped on, if you do, you fall.
It will take to much space to explain more, but that should give you a good idea on the type of challenge in this game. Of course this is one type of challenge, there are lot's of other different types of challenges in this game also. Remember, this is a perfect game for those who like challenge. If your really like challenge then you will really enjoy the final boss, I am convinced that he is impossible to conquear.

Let me tell you, this game is great in many ways... absolutely stunning graphics, 3 unique characters, a fun premise. So why only three stars? This game is unbelievably, totally, ...-crazily, ludicriously, ridiculously hard. I can't tell you how frustrating it is. I gave up. The enemies are so hard that you think they are bosses, and soon, you actually come to a boss and you just play over and over, and over, and over again...and it never helps. So, I was so mad, I stooped to the lowest level, and no...MDK2 is not supported by Gameshark. So, unless you are a game master over the age of 16, I don't recommend this game.Best Deals for MDK 2
I had the demo for the original MDK, and was so intrigued by the gameplay that I decided to by the sequal when it was released for Dreamcast. As I expected, the sequal was amazing; beautiful graphics and gameplay. After spending 2 hours on the first level and maybe 1 more on the boss of the first level, I realized that if this game was already so hard, what would the rest be like? From the first level, it only gets harder. Please don't play this game if you have no patience, you will bash your Dreamcast to pieces. There are three charcters to control, each has their own type of level and controls. Best Fear 2: Project Origin - Xbox 360 Deals
If any of you played the original, you remember many of the WTF Mate moments that made the game. It's rare that an FPS actually succeeds in making a horror game that works. Others have tried, but failed miserably (This means you Condemned 2!!) whereas FEAR captivated many gamers with creepy atmospheres, bizarre moments of hallucinations, and one strange little girl that you wanted to either hug or give a swift kick to.
In other words, for us gamers FEAR 2 had a lot to live up to and they did alright but I fear the FEAR franchise is going the way of Halo; letting it go to their head.
The story is simple. You are Delta Operator Beckett sent in to extract a bad CEO from some company doing bad things in a town plagued by weirder things. In the process, all goes to hell and so does reality and the story as well. The story keeps you reeled in w/o the main character engaging in any dialog and without any cut scenes scene outside of first person. This is what made the first FEAR and Project Origin does a good job of staying faithful. The ending, however, is a Halo 2 "that's it?!" since it ends so bloody abruptly. When the credits started to roll, my brother and I looked at each other and spent a whole minute exchanging "uhhhs" and "huh." Like a rug in The Big Lebowski, endings are supposed to tie the story together but perhaps I am spoiled by RPG endings.
Despite the WTFness of the ending, Project Origins does sport some major improvements. The animations are top-notch and true to reality. When you have to press a button, move something, or open a door, you actually have to temporarily move your weapon while your other hand does the action. This grounds the animation in reality and is executed properly, especially when you use the ladder (which is automatic instead of requiring you to carefully place your aimer). The aiming reticules are also improved as the weapons have red-dot or neon iron sights similar to actual firearms. Even the recoil is accurate and the movement through the sights as movement causes the red dot to move around since they are never really fixed but projected.
Another improvement is the weapons and their balance. The shotgun is no longer an end-all weapon and you can hold more then 100 rounds of assault rifle ammo as opposed to the first FEAR. Grenades are also more abundant and you don't accidentally shoot incoming grenades (which causes them to explode in midair) as easily as the first game, which caused me more deaths than anything else. The special weapons are also more abundant such as the penetrator (now the Hammerhead) and the sniper rifle. Not to mention new weapons such as the laser. Sadly though, the particle weapon seems only to come at the end of the game.
And yet another improvement is the enemy AI. Replicants are no longer just small obstacles but considerably smarter opponents. In the first FEAR, you could slow time down through "reflex time" (which is in Project Origin), dash into a crowd of Replicant soldiers, lay waste, and then take cover. Not in Project Origin... or as much. Now the enemy will actively try and outflank you so it is easier to get pincer in by enemy troops. Sadly, they no longer talk like Half-Life marines but still scream like them. The stealth ninjas only appear towards the end of the game and are a lot easier to handle as they appear in better lighting so it's easier to recognize the distortion they create. No more hiding in wait.
They also created three new, and very annoying, enemies. The first are what I crawl "non-tongue lickers," a play on the Resident Evil version but they do not have tongues. They will, however, crawl agilely across floors and walls and lunge at you. The second are what I call "puppet masters," civilians that have little stringy tentacle thingies that resurrect the dead to kill you. To me, these guys were the most annoying because they usually soak up the bullets like a sponge and will continually bring back those you just killed. The third are the power units, similar to those in the first FEAR, but a lot more dangerous as they have shields and will chase you down. However, you get to drive two later on!! That was my favorite part as I was driving the armor down the street, laying waste to... everyone, almost casually. The only features missing in the power armor is a Mr. Coffee and an MP3 player since I was humming "On the Road Again" by Willie Nelson while launching rockets.
The last improvements, and probably the most important, are the atmosphere and the freaky moments. The first FEAR executed this almost flawlessly so how do you improve upon that without going overboard? Simple, Monolith simply spread them out so the player, who probably played the first one, will keep expecting it and then lower his guard since it doesn't happen as much. I noticed there weren't nearly as many freaky apparitions or lunge in front of you moments, although you do wrestle with Alma more. My personal favorite scene involved an elementary school and a crap load of lockers. There is also a lot more blood and gore as the first one.
Now, despite all these advantages, there are three distinct complaints I wish to bring up.
The first is the length of the game or the lack thereof. My brother and I started at 3pm, played until 5:30, stopped until 7pm, resumed then, and beat the game at 11pm. If you do not count restroom and food breaks, our total completion time was (rounded up) 6 ½ hours. The first time around in FEAR, which had around 13 intervals as opposed to Project Origin's 7, took twice as long and then half the time the second time around. An FPS should take longer than that but, as they did with Halo 3, they figured quality would trump quantity. It doesn't quite work this time around. They could have expanded significantly or, oh I don't know, MADE THE ENDING LONGER!!
The second is how the wacky linear nature of the environment is hard to tell at times. By that, I mean it can be very hard to find the hidden ladder needed to advance, or the door, or even see the lock you have to shoot out. Dead Space did an amazing thing with the interface by allowing the player to press a button to see where they had to go and it did not take away from the overall experience. This isn't Resident Evil 2, where you bounce back and forth in the police station like a ping pong ball.
The third, and probably my biggest complaint, are the blatant transition glitches. I swear, my brother and I are glitch magnets. When Alma attacks and you have to fend her off your person it ALWAYS effects the environment whether it be opening an elevator door or knocking some boxes down. However, three times the transition did not occur and we were stuck to either wander around endlessly or reset to the last checkpoint. The first time was in the elementary school right after we fought the principle. We went back to the elevator and fought off Alma. Normally, she opens the doors but this time they did not and we wandered around for 20 minutes trying to figure out where to go. Once we restarted, we did the fending off again and this time the doors opened. GLITCH!! This happened two more times during the same play through. THIS is bad.
All in all, FEAR 2 will dazzle previous FEAR fans with brilliance while no players will be dazzled with BS as you seemingly have to be a fan to appreciate it. Nonetheless, if you're a new player then do yourself a favor and get the first FEAR, THEN get this one. It is well worth it, I promise you.
Overall, an 80/100
-10 for glitches
-5 for lack of length
-2 for hard to find paths
-3 for bad ending
There's an awful lot to like, however. There's a much greater variety in locales than in the original, and the way you progress through the world is excellent. The story is really well handled and intriguing too. There's regular radio chatter from your team mates and other characters, as well as intel pick-ups that fill you in on Alma, Armacham, Replica soldiers and everything else. Perhaps most impressive is the city itself. You arrive on the surface a while after the explosion, in a dilapidated warehouse with a car embedded halfway through a second storey wall, with most of its corrugated iron roof panels missing, exposing a muddy brown, broken sky. The sound design is every bit as good as the visual design, if not better. From roaring rushes and pained moans, to frenzied whispers in your ear as you creep down a corridor, HUD juddering, the effects do wonders for the atmosphere. So too does the strong soundtrack.
In the end, Project Origin is a fantastic piece of work and deserves to be applauded in many ways. Taking the original much loved game and transforming it into a suspenseful, adrenaline pumping sequel. A very entertaining game that ought to be tested and highly recommended.
The Bad: Mostly same weapons, a tad short, lame multiplayer, stupid cliffhanger ending (FEAR 3?), more or less the same as FEAR 1
FEAR was a hyped up FPS back in 2006 that started the whole "creepy girl with the black hair over her face" thing. FEAR was so great, not because of it's FPS action, but because of it's well executed disturbing atmosphere. FEAR 2 is no exception with everything bad stripped from the first and lots of new things thrown in. FEAR 2 is your basic FPS at heart, but if you look beyond the veil you'll see something truly wonderful and that's, once again, the incredible atmosphere FEAR 2 portrays. If you didn't already know, Alma is the creepy girl we are after that is somehow connected to soldiers called Replicas, whilst she can control them telepathically. While the story in the first game was almost impossible to follow the same problem infects FEAR 2 until toward the last few chapters where the developers stop playing mind games and finally spill the beans on what and who Alma really is.
The main thing here I need to talk about though is atmosphere, you walk through school hallways hearing lockers slam and things swirling around with darkness all around you. Disturbing ghostly apparitions appear that you must shoot, creepy super humans infect certain areas, and just overall the flashbacks you get of Alma are pretty damn creepy. The most scary parts in the game were when your flashlight somehow stopped working and all you can do is find your way around with flickering lights. While the atmosphere is great (especially with headphones on and the lights off!) FEAR 2 has some new gameplay mechanics that make the game even better. While new guns are added a lot of the older ones are improved (along with the difficulty toned WAY down). Most of your guns are average such as machine guns, shotguns, rocket launchers, sniper rifles etc. The only unique guns are the Hammerhead (shoots green needles that impale enemies to walls), the Laser rifle (a giant laser that shreds through everything), and the Pulse rifle (which shoots giant blue orbs that disintegrate everything in it's path). Of course these guns are harder to find and are rarer, but they have their uses.
My favorite addition are the mech sections...yes who would have thought FEAR would have mechs. Remember those annoying mechs in the first FEAR? Well now you can ride them! Hop into these heaping piles of metal and you get your standard machine gun and rockets, but the mech controls so well and the machine gun feels so powerful. It's great to see your enemies explode in a gory mess after a few machine guns rounds and you really feel you're more powerful for them for once. If your health starts running low hop out for a few minutes and your health will be restored. Included with old mechanics are the slow-mo, health injectors (that are really hard to find), easier to unlock achievements, and still lame multiplayer. I also have to mention how firefights are nicely balanced with just wondering around enjoying the atmosphere.
Everything is just superb cosmetically with great voice acting, beautiful visuals (although they could still be better), and great lighting effects. Of course the campaign is a tad short running in at about 6-8 hours and the cliffhanger ending is really retarded (aren't they all? *HALO 2*) Overall the game just builds up into a nice climax and that's what we usually love with shooters. While I recommend FEAR 2 for a great weekend rental it's nothing really more than that. The game is still (to it's core) FEAR 1 which was monotonous shooting and FEAR 2 kind of feels that way towards the end.
I'm not going to recap other reviewers info about the storyline and the creep-factor; both are very, very cool and this is a fun game for those that like virtual violence and gory, Gothic themes. Here's my "like-the-most" list:
-grenades are newer and the "cook" feature is great...even though i blew myself up a couple of times
-great new selection of weapons....loved the sniper rifle
-the flashlight stays on...no more "recharging", I know it sounds petty but it made a difference to me to not have that annoying feature. I know it was supposed to add to the anxiety factor of the first F.E.A.R., but I just found it a pain
-upgraded actions like leaping over barriers are a nice touch
the mech-suit is very cool, I especially enjoyed blasting my way down the street feeling invulnerable
The save points seem closer together, which is also a nice improvement. Like the first one, I still find running around the insides of buildings boring and to be honest, I think that they should have focused more on moving the game forward and the gore action rather than "problem solving" your way out of a basement. But it seems less prevalent than the first one and you generally can find your way and get back to the action. Being able to slide furniture and whatnot to make cover is cool, though I really rarely used it at all. The story line is intriguing and the flashbacks and movie-cuts are top notch. I'm looking forward to getting the third episode.
My only issue with the game is that out of two FEAR 2 discs, and using two new Xbox360s machines, the discs will not play on either. They play fine on two older machines that I have access too. The only way I could get it to work on an Xbox360s was to download it from Xbox Live.
So, Microsoft was of little help here. They don't recognize an issue. I am not a computer whiz, so I might be missing something, but I think there is an issue with this game and the new consoles.
I'd recommend not buying the disc if you have an Xbox360s until Microsoft resolves the issue. If you have an older Xbox360, by all means, it is a very playable game.

It's clear as you play through Project Origin that Monolith has spent some time thinking about the science of horror. With a goal to walk a delicate tight rope with the game's design to ensure that the transitions between straight-up shooting and a foreboding, malevolent atmosphere with semi-frequent scares is executed with style. It's a line that the team has managed to tread with some aplomb. Project Origin may have its weaknesses, but in terms of its blend of shooter and horror, it has the weighting just right. Backing up the general melting of reality that is Project Origin's horror motifs, is a rock solid shooter.

I ordered this game after my brother-in-law gave me the first one and I was very happy to find that it built on the already fantastic game play. I was a little thrown at first because the controller operations were different from the first (I'm not a pro gamer, so jumping back and forth from different games gets me discombobulated enough to blow myself up or stand there looking silly while enemies pound me). Once I got the hang of it though I could focus on the crisp new ways to interact with the environment.I'm not going to recap other reviewers info about the storyline and the creep-factor; both are very, very cool and this is a fun game for those that like virtual violence and gory, Gothic themes. Cheap Shift 2 - Unleashed (Limited Edition) - XBOX 360
The game is definitely better than what most people seem to say about the game. If you're someone who never wants to take your finger off the accelerator like a five year old than I understand why the game isn't for you. This game is very realistic and almost too realistic for video gaming. But coming from me, someone who races cars and understands that paying attention to every detail is everything with racing, I'd say the game is great. Heck I paid next to nothing for this game and I'd say its ALMOST as good as the racing game "GRID" which was one of the best ever made. No clue why people bash the game... Solid game for those who want a very close experience with real-life racing.

I bought this game and its okay, however, the one I got which was new, is extremely buggy. It is forever locking up on the loading screens and sometimes it locks and sometimes when loading the screen is just black but you can hear your car revving up to race and everything, just no picture. Also sometimes while drifting, the game will completely stop tallying points and will have to restart to get it going again. The green drive line flickers at times and sometimes dissapears completely. And I do not know what they were thinking but reverse on the cars in this game is AWFUL! It is faster to just reset the car on the track thats how pathetically slow it is. In comparison to other racing games, this one is not one of the most memorable. I would stick with the real "Need for Speed" games.Best Deals for Shift 2 - Unleashed (Limited Edition) - XBOX 360

this is a fun game, but it does have some flaws. like the drifting, its pretty much garbage.i love drifting, but i dont even play them on this game. the racing is awesome,it gets intense at some points. but if your looking for a more well rounded game, grid is probably better. but if your looking for some serious racing action, go with this game. they didnt really accomplish much with this game except the helmet cam, i would really like to see that in some other games.all in all not to bad, worth the $20 at gamestop.Friday, July 11, 2014

I knew that the original versions of some of these songs had some bad words in them, but I figured that a Disney game that was rated E would have edited those songs. Instead there are a handful of songs on this game that my son is not allowed to play.
I'm really disappointed in Disney for not doing some editing. And I'm disappointed that the ratings board considers this to be a game for everyone (Rated E).

I bought this for my daughter's birthday and she was thrilled to get it. Upon hooking up the microphone though, there was a noticeable delay my daughters amplified voice making it impossible to sync with the songs! After consulting Disney support I was asked to unplug the Wii system from my home entertainment system and and hook directly into the TV. This solved the delay issue but is definitely a huge step down in sound quality, not to mention having to hook and unhook the system every time she uses this product. Other than that, she loves singing along with the artists songs. One more minor issue, the voice instruction is NOT by Demi Lovato but her blond co-star in her Disney series.Best Deals for Disney Sing It: Party Hits with Microphone - Nintendo Wii

Honest reviews on Disney Sing It: Party Hits with Microphone - Nintendo Wii
I bought this game for my daughter who sings ALL the time and loves most of these songs, I thought it was a sure HIT~ but it isn't. You can't hear her singing unless she screams, the playback (encore)feature is really awesome, but that's the only way we can hear her voice. We've tried troubleshooting, we synced the mike to our tv's speakers, and tried various fixes but nothing works. So overall, while I loved the concept, and the songs and the features, the basic functioning of the game seems to be lacking in the most basic of ways. I guess we like the game, but it's not a purchase I would repeat or recommend.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Disney Sing It: Party Hits with Microphone - Nintendo Wii

Best Spider-Man - Xbox Deals
I have eagerly anticipated the Spider-Man game for about two months now, and I'm not disappointed at all.
The game is supposedly loosely based on the movie, although they've thrown a few wrinkles in, like adding supervillains Shocker, Vulture, Kraven the Hunter, and Scorpion, in addition to the Green Goblin. Tobey Maguire is the voice of Spider-Man and Willem Dafoe is the Green Goblin, with Bruce Campbell voicing the "tour guide", who explains how things work in the game.
The gameplay is very well done. Spider-Man moves just like he does in the movie previews. Fights are well done, especially the boss battles, which are unpredictable and difficult, but not impossible. The control scheme, even the "enhanced" version, is easy to master and use. The only problem is that, occasionally, when you're crawling on a wall, Spider-Man won't go the way you want him to. Also, you constantly have to readjust the camera so that you can see what you're doing. The one other complaint is that certain "stealth" missions are almost impossible to stay stealthy in.
The game is absolutely stunning to look at, especially the outdoor areas. The cityscapes are huge and highly detailed. You can't tell the difference between foreground and background. The enemy characters are also highly detailed and look as real as the main characters. There is also no hint of slowdown at all.
The music in the game is also excellent. I'm not sure, but I think it comes straight from the movie. Most of the voice acting is top-notch, especially Dafoe's Green Goblin. Unfortunately, the exception is Maguire as Spider-Man. He's extremely low-key and at times seems like he's disinterested completely. Making up for that is some snappy writing, especially the trademark Peter Parker sarcasm.
Overall, the game is exceptionally well done. There are little problems that only slightly lessen the experience. The bonuses they included also make this a worthwhile investment. I'd recommend to any Spider-Fan or action game fan.
The graphics are insanely good. While watching some of the animation test movies, I actually forgot it was a video game. I was about to go get some popcorn when it ended. However, this level of graphics isn't only found in the cut scenes; the in-game graphics are supperb.
This game truly has all the bells and whistles. Spidey is hillarious when he taunts the bosses during battle. I especially enjoy listening to him try to geuss his opponents names. The cheats are another big plus. This is extremely rare for a video game. This is only the 3rd game I've played that kept me playing just to unlock cheats (the others being Tony Hawk 2 and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for Dreamcast). This game includes what is definitely the coolest cheat in any game ever. I won't tell you how to get it, but if you meet one of two conditions, you can play as the Green Goblin. This not only changes your character's look, but it also give a completely new set of controls, voice acting, cut scenes, and even plot. It's essentially a new game with the same levels. The only problem here is that without Spidey's wall sticking and swinging ability, Green Goblin has to rely on power rather than stealth. No complaints though.
The only thing that worried me about the controls was the implimentation of midair sequences. Trust me. This is not a problem. You can swing, while dodging bombs, while shooting web for hours with relatively little experience.
The obvious attention to detail behind this game makes it a great title for all sorts of gamers. It doesn't matter what sort of games you like, this is a fun title for everyone.
Gameplay:
The boss battles were unlike any boss battles I've ever played before. I won't forget anytime soon the experience I had chasing Green Goblin through the New York City skies. The hand-to-hand combat style is remarkably similiar to that of Shenmue for Sega Dreamcast. You fight with the button combos your character knows and you discover new ones along the way. You can fight enemies anyway you'd like. If you prefer to tie them up with web and pound on them with your fists, you can. If you want to fall from the sky and dropkick them in the head, you can. Total freedom. And in video games, Freedom=Fun. Smooth, smooth, smooth. Minimal glitches and no slow downs make the X-Box version that much better. My only complaints would be the slow and frequent loading times between every level and absence of checkpoints. You can only save after you beat levels. For the long levels, that is a pain in the neck. As for the loading times, a minor annoyance, but I suppose it is necessary in order to produce the near flawless gameplay that you will see in Spider-Man.
Graphics:
Another category that the game shines in. Cars and building get smaller as you rise higher into the sky. Sky looks simply astonishing. A scene that sticks out in my mind is the fight with Vulture. It is foggy and raining when you start (rain looks how it really would if you were falling with it.) When Vulture is almost dead the sky clears up giving you an effect more amazing than any sky effect I've ever seen in a video game before. The cityscape streches on and on and building are modeled very realisticly. You will have to see it to believe it. Search the web (no pun intended) for screens from this game. You'll see what I mean.
Sound:
I never thought of Spider-Man as the sarcastic person "Spiderman: The Movie" makes him out to be. Even before seeing the movie, I have a good feeling of how they will portray him after playing this game. The real stars of the movies provide the voice overs adding a realistic touch to it. But in this case, that might be a bad thing. If you've ever heard Tobey Maguire speak you might know what I'm talking about. Characters talk a lot, but they say the same things over and over again. Though accurate, there should be more variety.
Control:
There's been many complaints about the controls in this game, but I like them. There are many, many tutorial modes to help you master the controls, which make learning them much easier then it would be if you could only read the manual. Camera follows you around pretty well, and you can lock it on enemies. A very convienant feature. There are occasional camera lockups, but you can take control of the camera to fix it and then set it back to auto. The bad control for me in Spider-Man was the Web-Zip control. It's hard to aim and difficult to execute. The Web-Zip might cause you problems when chasing Shocker and climbing buildings. Be prepared for a half hour learning curve. Simply put: The controls are well placed, but there are many of them.
Overall:
After beating Spider-Man, I can't wait to see what Superman will bring. Hand-to-hand combat while slinging thtough the air couldn't be more fun. The sound and some incomvieces make this game just short of perfect. Now I'm a critic, but Spider-Man: The Movie is an incredible adventure worth your purchase. If the length of this game makes you hesitant to burn [the money] on it then my recommendation would be to do a double rental. It will give you plenty of time to beat the game and it will only cost you [less].
Recap:
Gameplay: 10.0
Graphics: 9.5
Sound: 6.0
Control: 9.0
Fun: 10.0
Overall: 9.0
1) Gameplay: Its a very fun game, and this is it's strongest point. You can, in 4 words, "Do Anything Spider-man Can!" You can swing around the HUGE cities, beat up thugs with over 40 different moves (you unlock new ones buy getting Golden Spiders), crawl on any wall, etc... You can shoot web, do web domes (protect you from enemy gunshots, etc...) You can also crawl anywhere you can get your fingers on, hang down from a sort of web rope and spy on unsuspecting enemies. The whole thing is really quite fun, and while I've owned this game for 4 months, I still pop it in and swing around Spidey style every once and awhile. Thats how good the gameplay is.
The problem here? There are only about 12 levels, most fairly easy. And while going back and playing them on the harder setting is fun, its not half as fun the second time around.
As for playing it on the harder settings (there are 4: Easy, Normal, Hero, Super Hero), its almost IMPOSSIBLE on just Normal. Easy you can beat in 2 days, but the rest... The enemies strenth twice as strong, the enemies atacks are twice as strong, your web supply goes down by almost half. It's just WAY too hard. It gets to a point where your almost scared to go down and fight a thug because you'll lose so much of your health. Hard-core gamers will find the first 3 settings difficult (while casual get stuck on just normal), while even Hard-core, awsome, never die gamers will get stuck on Super Hero. It's added depth, but its also really annoying. I'd give gameplay 4 stars*
2) Graphics: Fairly good. You can see the web perfectly, Spider-man looks awsome. The worlds are beautifly annimated, and each are fairly large. The problem? The faces look terrible, and there aren't enough character designs (too many of the same people)! When you tie up enemies, the webbing jut looks like...there. It doesn't rap around, it just looks really bad... When your fighting thugs, or people, or whatever, you'll find yourself fighting dozens of people. Yet there are only 2 common types of thugs, two types of business men, two types of guards, you get the point. If your sitting there, fighting off 12 people, you'll notice that 6 look EXACTLY the same, and the other 6 look EXACTLY the same. Its like your fighting an army of clones. Very dissappointing, otherwise the graphics are very good. But counting that last comment, I have to give it 3 stars*
3) Options: Probably the game's weakest point. NO multiplayer or 2-player cooperation (would have been really cool!). No real bonuses or un-lockables. There are some mini-gamers, like Pin-head bowling, or "The Big Brawl", but NOTHING that will keep you playing the mini-game for more than a few minutes. And the freedom that this game could have built upon...just isn't there. Being able to look for crimes and stop them, seeing HUGE cities from Spider-man's point of view, and getting to explore a full New York City. That would have been cool!
But they didn't, they just went by the story. And while the story in this game (to go with the movie) is great, I think it would have been cooler if u could have had some freedom in between missions. The way it is, you are confined mostly to the insiden of buildings, having to go a SPECIFIC way, with no freedom. It's still a fun game, but didn't take advance of what (in my mind) could have made a GREAT game. 2 Stars*
4) Sound: The game's strongest point. Voice acting by the actors from the movie, it really adds to the experience. As for the characters not in the movie, EXTREMELY well done. Even the casual "Look mommy, there's Spider-man" from a little girl's perspective is done to perfection, as you often feel like you are living in Spider-man's world. The villains sound evil and menacing, the thugs sound...like thugs... And everyone really clicks to a sort of New York feeling, which adds to the game.
The web makes sounds: swish, swash. Really cool! The gunshots sound real and scary, the fighting scenes sound...convinving. Other than that, this game's SOUND was awesome! 4.5 stars*
Overall, I really liked this game. Its fun to go back and play, and there's enough positives to compete with the negatives. I'd definantly recommend this game if u can find it for a good price.
As long as your not looking for perfection, you WON'T be disappointed. A pretty good game compared to past Spider-man games!
Thx!
With that out of the way, I think Spider-Man is a good little game that looks very good on the Xbox. I heard it has better graphics than the other systems and a bonus level with Kraven the Hunter. Well this is all true, the game looks very good and plays pretty well. The cut scenes are awesome and stay very true to the characters. Plus the levels you play in switch it up enough so your not just constantly bashing things. There are actualy legit goals you have to accomplish and some are much harder than others.
There is also a neat training mode where Bruce Campbell, of Evil Dead fame, directs you on the different things you can do with Spider-Man. Plus with his voicing you actually get all the actors voices from the movie coming out as well. These include tobey McGuire, sorry probably butchered his last name spelling wise, and William Dafoe.
All in all this is a good little game, that for the most part is challenging and has alot to offer mode wise when it comes to training and dinking around. The game play is good, and easy to figure out; although the camera angles screw you over once in a while. Only downfall I see to the game is it is not very long, and a bit easy to get through. But there are challenges and secret areas to find in each level, minus the boss levels of course, that do make it highly playable again. So go out and rent this one at least web-heads. It's worth it.

First off, I don't actually own this game. I rented it. Yesterday. I've already beaten it. Twice. It's not a tough game once you get the hang of it. The tutorial is excellent, meaning that it is a great pick up and play game. The controls are excellent. They give an infinite variety of moves, web techniques, etc. without the impossible controls found in some games.

The expression "short but sweet" describes Spider-Man very well. On normal I was able to beat the game in only about 10 hours. To be perfectly honest with you, I'm not that good at games. Spidey provided me with one of the shortest action/adventure games I've ever played, but I enjoyed every second of it. This is one of the top three games out there for X-Box. I've played most of them. This is no overstatement. You are given a task to accomplish, and you are given the freedom to accomplish it any way you choose.Gameplay:
Honest reviews on Spider-Man - Xbox
I, like millions of others, flocked to see Spider-man, the movie, back in May of 2002. I loved it! I saw it a total of 4 times in theaters. So when I saw the game, I HAD to pick it up. And pick it up I did, and played through the entire thing several times. But something was missing. Here's what I thought of Spider-man: The Movie!1) Gameplay: Its a very fun game, and this is it's strongest point. You can, in 4 words, "Do Anything Spider-man Can!" Just to let anyone reading this review know; I do not own this game I went cheap and rented it. Yes, the graphics are weak and the characters are creepy-looking. Yes, the combat is mushy. Yes, there are some swimming sequences that are frustrating as hell. Yes, there was a bug on one of the levels prevented me from continuing, and I had to start over from the beginning.
All that does not matter. I *did* start over from the beginning, because I was having so much fun, because Galleon is an absolute pleasure to play. The act of running, jumping, and climbing from plank to platform to cave wall, hundreds of meters above the ground, in these large, awesome levels, feels so good. Once you get used to the controls (unlike all other games, camera and movement is on one stick, creating great precision in your movement), the game starts to feel psychic; it knows what you want to do almost before you do. Anybody who's walked off a plank in *God of War* will know what I'm talking about the plank-walking in *God of War* is an exercise in frustration, but the plank-walking in *Galleon* is poetry in motion. There's nothing else like it in videogames today.
Also, the sheer size, form, and color of the levels make for an awesome experience. They have the charm and atmosphere of *Sands of Time* and *Halo* as the sound of wind whips by you, as you stand on a tall peak on an active volcano in a vast ocean, you can't help but think that you're happy to be there.
My only complaints are the save system and the camera control. I wish I had more control of the saved games. It will save at certain stages of the game for you and Iv'e found a couple save points that you can save whenever you want. The problem is you can't control which of the 12 points you save at. It will save over the oldest one when you reach the max number of saves.
The camera control works great most of the time, but there are times when it would be nice to pan away from your character for a better view.
PROS:
1) Good story
2) Fun to play
3) YOu can scale walls like spider man and jump really far
4) Moving slow will prevent you from falling
5) Graphics are pretty good, because they put life into the world.
6) Large environments
7) You can swim like a Dolpin (Yes it's true)
8) The sound is good too.
9) Great cut-scenes
CONS:
1) Not being able to choose which saves to overwrite
2) Some places it would be nice to have a better camera angel to help find the hidden items
3) Found one bug where I fell through the floor and had to reload
Mostly, this game is far better than some riviews say!
I try not to let reviews of games skew my enjoyability, especially if it's a genre I like. Galleon's gruelling, unavoidable tutorial is a tad too painful, but once you're into the story and the action, you're there to stay.
I crave games that leave you with a feeling of satisfaction, and Galleon does just that. My moments of guilty pleasure in this game were when I saw the amazing wind effects on characters, their clothes, and their movement; when I got the hang of swimming; when I mastered the combo moves to earn enough fighting points to pull a really sweet move.

I almost passed this one up, but since I couldn't rent it I decided to buy it. The game is actually a lot of fun, because your character is really agile. The developers put a lot of nice touches to the characters and the environment. Butterflies, bats in the caves, wind blowing your clothes and hair, flies and moths buzzing around lanterns, good voices, large environments. The tutorial is great for learning the controls which are not very hard to learn. I'm only about 4 hours into the game and I can't stop playing. The other great part is the story line so far is good too.My only complaints are the save system and the camera control. I wish I had more control of the saved games. At first play, Galleon looks like an older title with amazing effects. One has to remember that Galleon has been sailing the 7 seas in Europe for the past year. Best Jeopardy - PlayStation 2 Deals
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $19.99
Sale Price: $18.98
Today's Bonus: 5% Off

Offering the most realistic adaptation of Jeopardy you can get, Atari faithfully re-creates the game in complete detail. Besides the fact that you can play alone and with others (much more fun this way), some other mildly interesting options were thrown in the mix.
Players can take sample exams that are given to prospective contestants vying to be on the show. Although not connected to game play, it will surely test your basic knowledge. During your progress through the game, your statistics will be recorded to include wins and losses, total earnings, best and worst game scores, and your totals of correct and incorrect answers. After achieving a specific amount of winnings, you qualify to participate in Tournament of Champions contests.
Although Jeopardy doesn't have difficulty settings as to the trivia questions, they're not really needed. There is a nice mix of questions that range from relatively easy to moderately challenging. For those looking to gain an outright advantage from the start, you can adjust the buzz-in time, response time, and computer I.Q. in the options area.
The game designers appeared to have a good plan in mind when they put this game together and it all flows pretty smoothly. Aside from a couple of slow load screens and a mildly annoying full motion video clip of Alex Trebek jumping in and out between question selection screens, game play is straightforward and fun. My only reservation with Jeopardy is the listed 5,200 or so answers. If you play for long, consistent periods of time, you're bound to see repeats of the same categories sooner than you'd like. So far, I'm happy to report that after playing the game with my wife for many hours (we're trivia hounds), we have yet to see any repeated categories or answers.
Jeopardy is quite entertaining and is recommended to anyone who likes trivia and thinking games and, of course, to those who are fans of the game show itself.
The first and biggest problem, in my book, is that with all the technological capabilities of PS2, there is no character selection. Other versions have you, the player, choose to be male or female and sometimes different races and clothing options. There was nothing like this with PS2's version. You can either choose a cheesy symbol or draw your own.
The other problem is the spelling accuracy aspect is inconsistent. You can accidentally, or on purpose, put "ton" instead on "tion" in words like action or constitution and have it be incorrect but blatantly misspell other things and have them be correct.
Also, be careful when typing in an answer. I had a problem where the answer asked for a type of "tape" and I typed the question to be "what is duct?" but it was marked incorrect, so answer each question completely, no matter how tedious (e.g. duct tape).
Good luck but I would not pay the $30 for it if I had known, so wait until you can get it cheaper or at a used dealer.
Another problem is a question being judged "incorrect" when it is obviously correct. This happens nearly every game.
The game is worth about $10.
Sorry, Alex.

I have enjoyed Atari's version of Jeopardy for years and was excited when they came out with a version for PS2. I purchased it and was dismayed with two aspects of the game. The first and biggest problem, in my book, is that with all the technological capabilities of PS2, there is no character selection. In my opinion, this game is badly designed. Atari have put no effort into this. There are too many "glitches." I don't know how a previous reviewer can state that he has "yet to see any repeated categories or answers." My husband and I encounter repeated categories/answers every time we play, which is definitely getting less frequent!Another problem is a question being judged "incorrect" when it is obviously correct. This happens nearly every game.

Honest reviews on Jeopardy - PlayStation 2
Overall, this game is a lot of fun. The only complaint I have with it is (as another reviewer mentioned) there have been instances where I typed in a correct response and it was judged as incorrect by the game. An example would be typing in "Thames River" and the game just wants you to type in "Thames"... irritating to say the least. That said, I have played the game numerous times and it's only happened to me maybe twice. I'm ready for version 2!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Jeopardy - PlayStation 2
The kinks definitely need to be worked out of this game. The concept and graphics are top-notch, but there are some very frustrating aspects to it. The "judging" programming needs help, since several of my answers were correct, yet were ruled incorrect, for reasons which were not always clear. Players must be spot-on with their spelling of words, due to the fact that the computer judge is extremely literal (e.g. "first star" was not allowed for the answer to "Twinkle, twinkle." "Star" was the correct answer). Also, the spelling prompt at the bottom of the screen actually allows for unintentional "cheating", if you will. That is, I had intended to type in the answer "Sheldon," when actually I meant "Shelley." Once I saw Shelley on the prompt screen, I buzzed in with it. I have no doubt version 2 will be far better, but until then...Monday, December 16, 2013

A very nice graphical boost on the One. Game play continues to be lots of fun, the added ability to jump really adds a new depth to the play and allows for more interesting levels. Definitely recommend it, as does my seven year old.

My wife, my kids, and I all love to play this together. My kids are 3 & 4 and have been playing Skylanders since they were each a little over 2. Great games! Does suck to have to spend about $1000 for all the characters, thoughBest Deals for Skylanders SWAP Force - Xbox One
This arrived less than 24 hours after I purchased it, I couldn't believe it. It's a Christmas present for my son so we haven't opened or played with it yet, which is why I only gave it 4 stars. As for shipping though, quicker than I have ever seen, even on Amazon with free shipping.
