Great design. Well built. Holds the following: Up to 4 pairs of Drumsticks, Microphone, Game Disc, with some spare room left over. Great for travel. I'm a youth pastor, and transport RB2 back and forth to our youth meetings. This is a great way to keep everything in one place while the kids are playing Rock Band. I'd also recommend the guitar cases from MadCatz.

NOTE: This case is not designed to hold a guitar! I'd recommend the Guitar Coffin Case if you're looking to protect your guitar controller. This is just for the sticks, mic, and accessories.

Much better in person! I love the skull & crossbones printed on the outside. This is probably large enough to use as a stick bag for a real drum kit. It is just a bit smaller because of the tapered shape at the bottom.

The zipper pockets are a little small, but the Rock Band and Guitar Hero mics will fit in them. However, the case won't zip closed if I put them both in. This isn't a big deal as I can probably hang it off of the tabs at the top of the kits, but thought I'd mention it.

Looking for a safe way to transport my high quality Rode NT1A Vocal Condenser Microphone I took a small risk and purchased this case from Amazon. (I was extremely lucky because it was on sale for $8 when I ordered it!) It has done a great job keeping my mic safe. I also keep a very long cable for my mic as well as my Icicle XLR to USB Mic Converter/Mic Preamp so this thing has been great! Nice red padding and durable zipper as shown in the image.

absolutely beautiful! the skull design on the outside is excellent. the "coffin case" tag on the outside is actually a cool lil metal plate! the fabric on the inside is even brighter in person which i love!

i had seen a case similar to this one on another web site for like $30! i was so glad when i found this one for $11 :-) I use it exclusively for drum sticks.

A great way to keep our cats away from the microphone cord/drumsticks when we're home. Makes it easy to "take the band on the road" too. The only negative I see is that the inside corners of the picket flaps are both semi-permanently bent due to the design of the case, but it's really, really not a big deal. I know what they were thinking with the strings, but I don't think they're needed/work I'll probably cut them off once I confirm that they're as useless as I think they are. Anyways, fun item!

(Bought from Direct Distributor) I, as many people have written in these reviews, was nervous that this was going to be a knock off Microsoft product that may not fit my charger or even my controller but they are indeed genuine Xbox controller batteries. If you play your Xbox360 as much as I do, it's frustrating to either keep changing the AA batteries or having your rechargeable battery pack die while you're mid-level. Though they may be pink, it doesn't change the way this product works and it's nice to have two extra batteries charging in case one dies, it's an easy pause and change and you're back to beating the bad guys. Great item to have and the price they are on here are unbeatable!

This play and charge was a great addition to my 360 system. The battery life is lower than using standard alkaline batteries but buy a couple extra battery packs and you're good to go. It still lasts plenty long for several lengthy rounds of Black Ops Zombies. If you need a new controller I would recommend this. The cable is plenty long and lets you play and charge simultaneously. If you don't need to play and charge, I would recommend the dual-battery high speed charger. It's not really as "speedy" as the name makes it sound but allows you to charge 2 packs simultaneously without having your xbox on.

I bought this to replace an older controller, but the battery doesn't stay charged for very long, so basically it is just plugged in all the time. So it might have been better to just buy the wired controller. My last controller would last days on a charge, this one only last hours.

this controller is everything i expected it to be. its excellent and durable. very comfortable. the charging cable is a very long 9 feet and the battery last about 12 hours between charges which is pretty good, especially for hardcore gamers. i recommend it.

If you were around to enjoy the original Tomb Raider, playing this game is like meeting a girl you thought was hot in junior high, only now you're both in your 30s and she's still just as hot as you remember. As for you, well. The less said, the better.

If you think that's just a questionable metaphor for the character of Lara Croft herself, you may be right, because she does look just as good in this iteration (given today's graphic advances) as we old-timers thought she looked back in '96, triangles and all. I was actually in college when I played the first TR on the PS1, and at the time, I was (along with legions of other gamers and non-gamers alike) smitten with the heroine that helped launch the 3D action-adventure genre. A few increasingly tired sequels...bad movies...and countless 3D action-adventure games later...and the magic was all but gone.

10 years later, this "re-imagining" takes what was great about the original TR (level design, puzzle solving, a great sense of exploration, tight control), and dresses it up in a new coat of paint, adding tweaks here and there for modern sensibilities. It looks a lot better, Lara's got new moves, everything has a bigger sense of scale. Some changes have been made some for the better, some seemingly for change's sake. Most importantly, the soul the essence, if you will of the original TR is here, and that's why I give this game a hearty recommendation. I can think of few other games that deliver a sense of grandeur, danger and giddy pleasure in quite the same way Tomb Raider can when it's firing an all cylinders.

If you're feeling nostalgic, you'll love the developer commentary you can toggle on or off in the option menu, then trigger by activating one of the purple diamonds in the level (they look like the original's save points). If you're a fan, it's pretty interesting to hear Toby Gard, the designer of the original, and Jason Botta, the game director of the new version, go back and forth about the challenges and changes involved with both the original and this remake. If you're the "gotta catch 'em all" type, you'll probably enjoy replaying levels to collect hidden relics and artifacts, finish the time trials (speed runs) and take a run through Croft Manor.

Obviously, as a person who played and enjoyed the original, I'm bringing a lot of mental baggage along. If you're new to the franchise, the experience certainly won't have the same impact, but I suspect you'll still have a grand time anyway. In this day and age of first-person-shooter over-saturation, this game may even come as a breath of fresh air.

This game kills two birds with one stone. Basically it's cool being retro these days, the team at Edios redressed the whole game improving Lara, the physics, the levels, the graphics, and detailing the story. Plus this games grants Edios the chance to start from scratch with Lara and the series. It was also a cool way to give something neat back to the fans: especially after the backlash from fans over "Angel of Darkness". Anyway, The graphics and the story are awesome and do Lady Croft and the scenery justice.

I enjoy when a developer respects it's audience by staying true to the character it created while still improving, expanding, and evolving that characters development. The developers thoughtfully intertwine the plot to suit "Tomb Raider: Underworld" (which in-turn resolved both the stories from this game and "Legend"). The reintroduction of Natla's character also helps to explain to fans what happened prior to "Underworld". While "Anniversary" can stand on it's own as a cool game, it does set up the other two games. Though all the games were released out of order: Legend in 2005, Anniversary in 2006, and Underworld in 2008. Anniversary does create a time line that is respectful to the fans that appreciate continuity.

The Tomb Raider series is not for kids and this game is no exception. Tomb Raider: Anniversary is a reintroduction of Lara and a spring board for new story lines and a way to introduce new fans to a classic game and story. As a fan of the series it's nice to be able to play the original Tomb Raider on today's graphic superior platforms. I don't know how they do it but each adaptation of Lara Croft and her abilities is stunning in every game and this game does not disappoint. I might add that the ability to earn and wear different outfits (introduced in "Legend") is included in this game as well the added fun of finding artifacts, relics, completing time trials and the use of the grappling-hook.

All in all, I recommend this game to new and old fans alike. It's the old game with improved graphics, physics, clothing, and abilities. It is joy to play and experience time and again.

Prior to the current generation of video game consoles, I had last played Tomb Raider when it was introduced on the PC in the 90's. Before this release, I had already played Tomb Raider: Legend, which I had really enjoyed, so I figured I would give this title a try. Fortunately, it did not disappoint.

From a graphics perspective, this game provided an incremental improvement over Tomb Raider: Legend. The environments are beautifully detailed, and they are extremely large. Not only are the environments big, but they are also extremely high -be prepared to climb a lot. Once you enter an area, nothing additional needs to load, so you are not disturbed by "loading" screens, and you end up totally immersed in the environment. I encountered no framerate issues. The sound is excellent, and compliments the environments perfectly. Music is kept to a minimum, so you won't be distracted during gameplay.

From a control perspective, this game introduces a new "adrenaline dodge" move, which may take a bit for novice players master. The move is extremely important to gameplay, and it will be necessary to master the move in order to complete the game. This move replaces the "bullet time" move, which became standard in many games in recent years. Otherwise, the control scheme is exactly the same as Tomb Raider: Legend, and Lara's movements have not changed. If you played Tomb Raider: Legend, you can play Anniversary.

The level bosses are amazing. The T-Rex is probably the most enjoyable challenge I have ever encountered in a video game. There are some other challenging moments, and you may find yourself reaching for a strategy guide, but if you are patient and continue to practice, you should be able to master the game and complete it.

"Completion", however, is subject to interpretation. The game's achievements are challenging, and it will take some effort to achieve a 1,000 GS on this game. Reaching the end of the game may take between 10-15 hours, but completing everything and collecting all of the items in the game could take an additional 10-15 hours -without a strategy guide. Fortunately, the game has decent replay value because of the way the achievements are structured.

The only thing that keeps me from giving this title a perfect score is the poor development that went into the CGI transitions between levels. They are simply too short, and they don't provide enough information to really get immersed in the story. The final CGI presented upon completion of the game is somewhat disappointing, when compared to the ending in Tomb Raider: Legend.

This title may only appeal to Tomb Raider fans, but I believe it is a must-play for this console generation. It's exactly the type of title that I would like to demonstrate for friends and family. Given its solid gameplay and replay value, it will retain its place in my collection indefinitely.

As a Veteran to all Tomb Raiders created from the 1st Playstation to current game consoles now. I am well familiar with the Croft chronicle line. Due to this game was a remake as a remembrance anniversary to the 1st Tomb Raider created for PS1. I was not disappointed, it was well remade and the graphics are to die for. Lara never lets you down in this game with her new gadgets and my personal favorite, new costumes. I say take a shot at this remake and sit back and enjoy the best selling shooter female heroine of the year Lara Croft Tomb Raider Anniversary. – P.S. > This game does have a lot of violence and as a mother of two, maybe not a good gift for the young ones.

A lot of people say how terrible this game is. You'll have that with any remake of a game because they're soo focused on what the game used to look like that they become too close minded to appreciate it for how interesting and visually complex it really is. I've had this on my pc for years. I played it almost completely through soo many times and eventually my hard drive would crash or I would forget to back up my saved games when doing maintenance I finally just decided to order it for the 360. My computer would run this fine on lower graphic settings but once I popped it in the Xbox I realized that I had no limitations anymore and the scenery is impressive. The content and game play is sort of like Prince of Persia without that annoying control type where you can only jump as you reach a ledge and in this game, you can actually tap a button to make you move faster when hanging from the side of a cliff. This title is very memorable and something I could play over and over. I would recommend it to anybody.

I have owned the MadCatz Street Fighter 4 Fightpad, the Logitech Dual Action, and a Sega Saturn USB (Chinese clone) and I have to say that none of these pads have a D-Pad that can compare to the Hori Ex2 turbo for playing Street Fighter. I waited 5 months for this pad to come in through the mail and when I got it I was astonished at the accuracy of of its D-pad. Diagonals register well, and spinning pile drivers are surprisingly easy to pull off.

The fact that this gamepad comes with analog sticks, turbo, and a rumble feature are practically added bonuses. I only use this on my PC, but I have tried playing LEFT 4 DEAD, and the pad works exquisitely for first person shooting. The analog stick is superior to the one on logitech offerings, but may feel a bit looser than the stock XBOX 360 stick (in my opinion this is a good thing). Luckily there are sensitivity settings built into the pad.

This is literally the perfect gamepad. I have so far found no flaws with it.

When I first received this controller I was extremely happy. It worked like a charm! After about 2 weeks of controller bliss however, things started to go down hill. The right and left analog thumbsticks started to work on their own. I tried unplugging and resetting, but nothing. I've tried to mess with the sensitivity switch... nothing. After trying everything I could think of, I decided to shelve it. So far I haven't found anything that will work.

It's a shame this has ghosting issues. This would've been THE #1 controller to purchase for the 360.

We originally purchased the HORI Turbo Pad EX 2 back when they were originally released in late 2009. Shortly thereafter we started having issues with the Analog Sticks acting out. In game it would appear af if sticks were being used even though we weren't using them and when we did use them it would prevent us from going in the desired direction. The only resolution to this problem was to unplug the controller and plug it back in, but this was only a temporarly.

Based on other comments we've seen in various reviews and elsewhere this wasn't an isolated issue. Fortuantley as of September 2011 this issue as been resolved. As of late 2011, you can identify the fixed controllers by a batch code that is at least "110601" or higher stamped on the bottom right of the back of the packaging. We purchased this controller again from amazon.com in September 2011 and the version we received was the updated "110601" release. If you are buying the controller long after 2011 we have you should have a higher numbered batch code. If your batch code is lower than you may have one of the older versions that may be affected by the ghosting.

I'll be keeping an updated record on the use of this "110601" NEWEST BATCH controller. I'm not using the HORI controller 100% of the time, as I'm switching between an OEM controller and the Datel EVO based on the game I'm playing at the time. However, I will be using the HORI enough to make the ghosting show up if were ever going to show up, based on past experience with the ghosting problem.

March 2013: No ghosting.

January 2013: Once in a while the controller may act wonky when first plugged in but this is easily resolved by disconnecting and reconnecting at the breakaway cable connection or main connection. Very Rare. The old Ghosting problem is certainly fixed.

March 12: 2012: No Ghosting. * It's pretty safe to say that the "Ghosting" issue has been resolved on the "110601" batch. If it were to happen, it would have happened by now.

December 20, 2011: No Ghosting.

November 17, 2011: No Ghosting.

October 9, 2011: No Ghosting.

October 2, 2011: No Ghosting.

September 26, 2011: Received controller and no ghosting present.

REVIEW:

I originally purchased the HORI Turbo Pad EX 2 back in 2009 when they were originally released as I previously had the first Turbo Pad EX, the blue one, from HORI. That controller ended up breaking after a while but given the price of this updated version I went ahead and purchased it anyway. Unfortunately, as many had also had happen the Ghosting problem with the Analog Sticks eventually started happening. Basically, the sticks would act as if they were being used while they weren't being touched. Even if you tried to use them they would fight your movement, not physically on the controller but with the action that was happening in game. The only solution was to unplug the controller and plug it back in, and this was only a temporary fix.

Other than the Ghosting problem, we loved this controller. The Turbo feature was great with the 3 different speeds which can be programmed to nearly all usable buttons. The "Turbo Hold" is a great little feature allowing the controller to automatically press the button while it's in TURBO without you having to actually press the button. This is a lot of fun in those old style arcade games where you have unlimited ammo as this frees you up from having to hold down whatever button controls the firing. Having this be a wired controller is actually quite nice as you don't have to worry about changing batteries all the time which can happen with homemade OEM wireless controllers that have been turned into Modded Turbo controllers.

If you are looking for a Turbo Controller had has more than 3 speed variations, you might want to check out the Turbofire2 (Wildfire2) Xbox 360 controllers from Datel as those have up to 8 different speed settings. Only the wireless versions can use the PC software for modifying the various Customizer features.

The size of the HORI Turbo Pad EX 2 is comparable to the OEM Xbox 360 controller aside from that the left and right grips at the bottom of the controller are perhaps 1/2" longer. Personally, I really like this as it give me a little extra room to hold onto the controller. If you have smaller hands and already have issues with the size of the OEM Xbox 360 controllers from Microsoft then you are probably going to have an issue with the size of this one from HORI. If you have smaller hands then you should probably look into the Mad Catz Inc X360 Pro Micro Cntrlr Blk wired Xbox 360 Controller with TURBO that MadCatz brought back into production in 2011, it's a specifically designed to be a much smaller controller.

If you have any of the KontrolFreek stick accessories, those are compatible with the HORI Turbo Pad EX 2. The Analog Sensitivity adjustment control is fine for games that don't allow you to adjust the stick sensitivity. The D-pad works well.

The "LB" and "RB" face buttons next to "Y" and "B" can sometimes get in the way when you are trying to use "Y" or "B" to the point where you actually press "LB" or "RB" so this may take some getting use to so as not to hit them accidentily. However, having them on the face of the controller is probably useful for fighting games that require various button combinations including the various face and bumper buttons.

I highly recommend picking up this controller, just make sure it's the NEWEST BATCH with the "110601" date code # stamped on the back right of the packaging to make sure you don't have an older version that has the Ghosting problem with the Analog Sticks.

5. Turbo Hold Mode Lets you set a Turbo to an individual or combination of buttons, triggers, sticks, and/or d-pad directions and it will continuously press this (at the set speed) without you having to touch the controller. Great for programming in macro's to give your thumbs and forefingers a rest.

6. Analog sensitivity can be adjusted to normal (default), narrow (more sensitive), and wide (less sensitive).

7. Buttons set on a 6 button layout (A, B, X, Y, and the Left and Right bumpers).

8. Colors: Black or Blue. Play-Asia.com sells a white version.

This controller by far,is one of the most amazing controllers I have every held or use. Its sleek design makes it makes it handle with a more ergonomic touch opposed to a standard Xbox 360 controller. Its button layout is confusing (at first) but then easily meshes into the nature of game play. The joysticks have an amazing feel to them that puts your hand in constant ease. The buttons are smaller than a normal 360 controller and is liable to lots of miss-pressed buttons. That is something that is developed over time. They come well meshed so it gives a great feel to beginner-hardcore gamers. The D-pad is simply perfect. It has a great format that is standard to any adept fighting gamer (as myself) The feeling is smooth and give easy execution. Better than many D-pads I have seen thus far.

The problems with this controller (the few it has.)

1. The joysticks are overly sensitive. (this can be solved with a sensitivity option they have on the controller

2. The buttons are small (this is also works as a plus because it can execute more hard-to-do executions with a use of a thumb. Sometimes better than a entire hand.

3. Its wired. (not all things come wireless, actually some of the greatest things are wired IE the Mad Catz Tournament edition Fightstick.)

To sum it up:

-If you need a controller that doesn't cost $150.00

-If you Like to have a special controller to play fighting games without losing the use of playing other games (due to controller/button layout)

-If you are a conventional player that is looking for a pep to your step (IE Rapid fire or a decent joystick, D-pad

Then this is the controller for you. Hands down, Incredible.

EDIT: This is my 3rd updated review-

The controller completely stopped working now as both triggers do not work and none of the rapid-fire features work.

The other buttons work but cannot be set to rapid fire, the option to toggle rapid-fire is gone. (It happened in game during L4D2 Multiplayer)

It's to bad I used this controller 100% of the time for my gaming I really liked it but now it's not working at all.

I never mishandled it or damaged it, I'm 40 yrs old with no kids in the house so I know the controller hasn't been exposed to any severe drops or damage.

I'm gonna disassemble it and see if I can see any internal problems like shorted out chip or something may have dislodged.

EDIT: THIS IS a 2nd UPDATE to my original UPDATED review ,my second controller that replaced my first one has also started the ghosting issue again RIGHT ANALOG during BFBC2 and the RT doesn't even fire the in game weapon sometimes. It's possible the RT fire issues were due to EA servers and BFBC2 server issues, BUT The ghosting appears in ALL games.

Man I'm bummed I really like this controller if it weren't for the quality issues.

I'm just gonna keep swapping for another since my money is already spent , maybe I'll get lucky and get a patched version.

I've also contacted HORI about this , it seems to be a common problem.

(I should also note my first controller was purchased from Wal-Mart while my second was from Amazon)

If you are have ghosting analogs what I've done in the meantime if your waiting for a replacement controller unplug your controller while not touching any analog and then wiggle the analogs aggressively , then plug the controller back in without touching the analogs, this seems to reset them to get rid of the ghosting for a little while.

Also whenever you power up the 360 with the controller DON'T EVER TOUCH THE Analogs. This SEEMS to help with ghosting issues.

Well after my glowing review I'd like to inform people I've started to have some ANALOG stick problems with the controller.

After around 30 hours of flawless use with fighting games like Bayonetta and some FPS time.

THE RIGHT ANALOG stick has "Ghosting" Issues , THE RIGHT ANALOG moves on its own in game on numerous games.

Even after restarting the console numerous times making sure the analogs aren't touched at all while powering up , it still does this.

The right analog keeps going up all by itself , when I go to shoot in for example Army Of Two 4Oth day ,COD4 MW2 etc., the right camera points all the way up without input from me.

If you know wired controllers history , this was an easy fix with XBOX original wired controllers. If you let's say held down the analogs while powering up the console the STICKS would retain that position as the normal position .

So I thought that was the problem but after numerous tries with different games I'm still having the same "phantom" right analog stick.

As soon as I use my original wireless Xbox 360 controller the problem disappears instantly.

Sadly I really enjoyed the controller I even got used to the size they remind me of the old "S" controller I actually got to the point the fluidity and functionality of the controller was better than the Xbox 360 controller, BUT low quality has reared its ugly head .

I might see if I can swap em out or just return em , its a shame because I REALLY LOVED the rapid fire on all buttons , even the right and left click analog can be rapid-fired with 3 speeds,plus the analog stick speed adjustment is great, BUT I think all of this stuff going has caused a glitch somewhere.

I found this controller to be extremely functional and fun while it worked.

I've had normal Xbox 360 controllers get the "ghost"analog after about 1.5 years of use , but the HORI died in literally a few weeks.

Buyer beware the analogs seem to have a ghosting issue.

I'd have to lower the score to 3 stars for quality issues , if it weren't for the ghosting analogs these are great controllers.

It could be the springs in the analogs are just to weak and wear out pretty quick.

It's weird now that I have the original wireless 360 in my hands you can just feel the solid quality , everything just feels right. I just wish I could put all of the rapid-fire features into an orginal 360 controller.

I wonder if I swapped out the sticks for some PS3 sticks ? And change the springs maybe that will help ?

This game currently holds the record for sales in a week and sales in one day for any video game. People like to say this is a bad game that only sells well because of advertisement and hype. If that were true it would not explain why people continue to play it or why they continue to pick this up year after year. Are all these COD fans just miserably playing online not having fun? The series maybe boring and unimpressive to many but it appeals to a demographic and it appeals to it well.

It's simple: if you've liked the previous CoD games then you'll like this one. If you were expecting something ground-breaking and new then this game is not for you. This game is like Madden. All you're going to get is new weapons, maps, some tweaks, and some new features. Whether or not this justifies the price tag is a different story. I'm purely basing my review on entertainment.

As a long-time fan of the series I'll start off with the bad. The singleplayer is as useless as ever with a non-sense story that you simply will not care about. It is repetitive and linear with overwhelming spawning enemy AI shooting from all directions serving as the only challenge. The only variation is some vehicle levels reused from previous Call of Duty entries. There are no tools at your disposable to change things up. It's the same shoot, cover, grenades mechanic in place since the first Call of Duty on PC. At least back then the firefights felt intense and you were part of an actual historical event. While Call of Duty 4's campaign was entertaining the following MW2 and MW3 don't add anything, the surprises and thrills are gone. SPOILER: when Jackson died in COD4 it was dramatic and unexpected. When this same trick is used in MW2 (twice) and MW3 it's just not as interesting.

**My major gripe is that there's no consistency of characters. Characters are constantly being introduced and killed off in every entry. Soap, Price, and Nikolai are about the only consistent thing about this series in terms of story. Even then they are just empty NPCs providing orders and guidance to the player. There's never any interaction or personality shown to make you care.

I'll move on to the reason why most people buy this game or any CoD game for that matter: the multiplayer. As usual thing are played out on medium-sized maps between 6-player teams. The most popular game modes are TDM and Domination. Multiplayer is fast, intense, and catered towards those with short attention spans like myself. You won't have to traverse much ground in order to find something to shoot at. Some prefer more variation, obviously Battlefield 3 being the main example. There's nothing wrong with that game but I prefer the down and dirty street fight. If you do too, you'll feel right at home.

The new "strike packages" are welcome giving players different options in terms of playing style and tactics. For instance, the support strike package does not rely on consecutive kills. It continually stacks and does not reset after dying. This allows players to be more aggressive while still supporting team members. Likewise the specialist strike package allows players to add perks to their original 3. After getting 8 kills they player will have all perks becoming a super soldier. Now they won't be able to call in any killstreaks but the advantage of additional perks is a great advantage in a gun vs. gun situation.

Maps were advertised as being more balanced. This is a matter of opinion but I'll have to agree. For the most part the maps have been designed to weaken camp areas. Most sniping/camp spots will have too many alternate routes to enter and flank. Other spots will just be awkwardly placed not giving the player enough view over heavy traffic areas. There are plenty of camping players but what do you expect in an FPS game.

Perks have been reorganized in a way that forces players to make some hard choices on how they set up their classes. Of course the specialist strike package remedies that but in general I've seen people go with the normal killstreaks. For instance, in previous games the player would use a perk to be invisible to radar. This perk would also double as protection against air support. They have now been separated into two different categories. The same goes for the popular 'sleight of hand' perk that allowed faster reloads as well as faster aiming. Now as two separate perks players will need to rely more on careful playing and good old reflexes.

Not such a big deal since it's identical to MW2 but the weapons are great. In Black Ops each category (assault, light machine gun, sub machine guns) had only a couple of weapons worth using. These weapons were so good there was no point in using anything else. MW3 has the reverse effect where everything works great, almost too great, where gun selection sometimes feels like it doesn't make a difference. It comes down to preference.

The downsides of multiplayer is the lack of dedicated servers which I've complained about since CoD switched over from PC. This causes you to rely on the host system. I'm not sure why but every now and then I'll be 'slower' than everyone else usually getting shot after getting behind cover or just a second before I actually spot an enemy. Sometimes I can tell this is working in my favor and I'll have an amazing time but I'd much rather everyone just be on the same level in terms of online latency.

This system prevents users from joining games. It'll just randomly throw you into any game that has a slot for you or your party. This results in throwing players into a lot of losing games. Why? With a lot of people getting frustrated and leaving a losing round it creates gaps on the losing team. Innocent players looking to join a game are suddenly thrown into a round with a 30 score gap that's about to end. The game counts this as a loss! You literally can join a game, do nothing, and still lose.

Another issue is the auto-balancing system. I don't play in a party so when I do well the next round assures that I get stuck with all of the less skilled players to make sure I lose so things stay 'fair.' I'm not using anything that puts me at an advantage over anyone else so I'm bothered that the game feels I need to be punished for playing well. To put things in perspective I have a 2.00 KDR for TDM but only a 1.20 win record. In theory that is about right since the autobalancing is doing it's job. 50 percent of the time you should be put on a good team and the other 50 the losing team. So maybe this is a good thing for some?

I've ranted on long enough but I will repeat what I said before. People do not like this game and never will. The people that do (there are obviously many) wilkl play it and enjoy it as always. The graphics are aging, the game is very similar to MW2, and if you had problems with the series before most of those problems are still there.

The game is FUN. That's all there is to it. If it's not for you that's fine. To be fair I think this is the last COD game for me. It's a solid final entry to the series but if they make another one and it's still the same I'm probably satisfied with this one.

I look at the progression of this series like this:

COD4 Introduced classes, perks, modern setting, and more arcade-like gameplay

MW2 Introduced "super power" type perks, pushed the game over the top in terms of arcade style, introduced killstreaks which would become a staple of the series, finalized the game to a console audience in terms of style, maps, and controls/weapons

Black Ops balanced the game, took a step back in terms of style, map design, weapons, and was actually a little too watered down from what MW2 was.

MW3 Balances between COD4 and MW2 very well, really no where for the series to go from here

Let me just start by saying this is only a review of the online play after a few hours logged in. I will come back and update more as I log more hours online.

Up front, was very disappointed in the presentation of the game. Graphics I thought came up very short. I actually think they took a step back in the before/between game presentation. Everything is very cold and nothing jumps out at you. I expected to be impressed before even getting into the game but I wasn't but then again it's not the gameplay so I can get passed that. The emblems and banners were different but looked cheesy compared to Black Ops. The maps were pretty cool but once again the graphics didn't impress. The cars looked cartoonish to me. But this may not be important to you as is it to me.

What is up with the voices of the players in multiplayer? Everyone sounds very tinny and I know it's not my headset because I have not experienced this in Black Ops or Battlefield. It's almost like they sacrificed voice quality for improved bandwidth for gameplay. I asked others I was playing with if they were experiencing the same thing and they said they were.

The online gameplay was laggy. I am going to give this a pass and attribute it to the first day of online play and likely a high traffic experience. It was really tough to play. For example, while playing Headquarters, I shot someone 5 times with a shotgun at close range only to have them kill me. Watching the replay from their vantage point right after, It showed me only getting off 2 shots cleanly while dying as a third shot was being fired. A 2 shot lag was a bit much. And don't say it's my connection as I have a high dedicated bandwidth connection. I will give this a pass for now since it was day 1.

One thing I did like a lot about Black Ops was that you could buy attachments and equipment early on which sort of evened the playing field a bit as opposed to having to rank up and earn the right to these things. Well it's back to the latter again.

Some of the new killstreaks are pretty cool. I especially like the attack drone (I think that's what it's called) which could be great for Headquarters games. But why do we have to unlock these for each different class we setup?? UGH!

Game invites took a step back as well. Remember in Black Ops how you could go to your friends list and just hit "select" to invite them? Well, no more! Not sure why they didn't adapt this into this release.

I used to be an Infinity Ward fan and always thought they put out a better product than Treyarch. I think the tables have turned. I am not alone on this either. Everyone I played with last night that was mic'd up agreed with me that Black Ops is a better online experience except for one person that liked this game better.

Who knows. I might feel differently the more I play it but as of right now, I may spend more time playing Battlefield 3 and Black Ops than MW3.

I've given it another week and I have not changed my opinion of the game. I am not sure if I am the only one experiencing this issue but this game lags terribly. I did not have, and still do not have these issues on any other FPS game including all of the previous CoD releases or the Battlefield games. On almost every match, I am seeing the game freeze for a split second then jump forward. It doesn't happen in the beginning of games, only when the action picks up so I am left to believe that the game is coded in such a way that it's being overloaded with data at the host. I also believe this to be the case because in one game I was in, my game aborted and I got an "out of memory" error on my screen. What is that?? Never seen that happen before on any other game. I've seen less of this on the smaller tactical games where the number of players are kept to 6-8.

I still have not got into the campaign but think I will spend most of my time there since I cannot tolerate the multiplayer any longer. I did however play the Survivor mode and really liked that a lot. It actually might be the best part of this game.

I still stand by my rating.

Ok so I played the game off and on for about a month and I got to be honest, my feelings have not changed. The lag issue is not as bad as it was the first week the game was out but there is still noticeable lag. Let's face it....when playing online there has to be some aspect of lag and I completely accept that but I don't know why it's so much worse in this game than it was in other CoD releases. For me, it seems for the most part, the online games start ok with the lag not being that bad in the opening seconds, but as each match progresses it starts to become more noticeable. I am not sure if this is a memory issue or not but it seems the more action that is taking place, the more I notice the lag issue. I have not been back online in a few weeks, which is a CoD record for me. I've actually been online enjoying the BF3 multiplayer much more but that's not for this review.

Because of my frustrations with the online multiplayer performance, I turned to the single player campaign. I had no issues with the performance of the game in this mode, nor did I expect to. The single player campaign was actually pretty easy even on Veteran difficulty. Now I am just going back and completing the trophies to close it out.

Overall....the feeling is still the same and my rating will stick. I don't think it's a bad game but I expected more, performance wise and also in terms of creativity. I don't think this game delivers but it's just my opinion. ;)

-The online maps all feel dull and similar. Hopefully the map-packs will bring some originality but we'll have to wait and see.

-Unsatisfying conclusion. Three games for... I'm not gonna spoil it.

Conclusion:

If you're a COD fan like me, this game seems old. The gameplay is fun, but if you're looking for something original try Battlefield 3. If you're new to COD, try Black Ops instead so you can understand the storyline. The Black Ops maps are also much more memorable.

I have owned all the call of duty titles, and I feel that this one fell way short. The single player is entertaining as usual, but the multiplayer, which is why most people get the game is a step in the wrong direction. The multiplayer maps are very unimaginative, just a bunch of buildings with little creativity compared to other COD titles. Weapons are basically the same but with more options. The gameplay is the worst yet. I have a 35MBPs connection with a 35ms ping to the closest major city yet each game I play is laggy as heck and many games I get booted due to server connectivity. You would think that they would have servers all over to accomidate all the users across the US! I still think due to poor online gameplay and lack of map creativity this is near the bottom of COD titles.

Ok so Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is finally out and I finally got a chance to play it and here are my thoughts of the game.

Campaign

The Campaign picks up from where MW2 left off. If you plan on playing it on Veteran i will admit that its not stupidly annoying like MW2 which was a huge ragefest!!!!!! The campaign is solid and is worthy enough to be that of a sequel.

SPEC-OPs Survival

I've played the Zombie mode in W@W and Black Ops and i wasn't sold on it. Survival adds that element of fun for the ppl who did not like Zombie. After the 1st wave you'll unlock the Armory support, 2nd Wave Explosive and Armor Support, last but not least 3rd Wave Air support. I managed to get to Wave 31 all by myself until i blew myself up tryna cook a gernade when i saw a Juggernaut coming out of nowhere lol. Unlike Zombie how you can have 4 players, Survival only allows up to 2players which sum ppl might not be to happy about. If you haven't played this mode yet i will say it's definitely worth playing you'll be hooked for hours playing it.

SPEC-OPs Mission

Like MW2 Spec Ops after you get all 48 stars its not worth playing anymore. Hopefully this time around they'll come out with more mission when they come out with DLC.

Multiplayer

MW2 all over again.

Conclusion

Besides the Campaign and Survival the game failed to impress me. IW/Sledgehammer(mostly IW) attempted to make MW3 have that COD4 gameplay style but fell short horribly. The multiplayer maps are god awful and it still has that MW2 gameplay style. This game would of been better off as a $30 DLC to MW2 rather then a brand new $60 game. Rent it or wait for a lower price!

In many ways, Kinect Disneyland reminds me of the game Epic Mickey that came out for the Wii last year. It's a fantastic concept and the attention to detail will absolutely delight die-hard Disney fans, but gameplay itself can be a little shaky at times. But overall, it's a winner, especially if you have younger kids in the house who are always begging you to go to Disneyland or Disney World.

The concept and the graphics of this game are amazing. You start the game out at the Train Station and the scene swoops onto Main Street USA, which should be familiar to anyone who's been to the parks. You define your character by choosing a boy or a girl, and give him or her a face (you basically can choose one by race), and then a hair style, hair color, shirt, and pants. There's only limited customization you can do (I'm guessing you can't use the Xbox avatar because it's just too cartoony for this world).

You meet a "magic ticket" that tells you how to move around. You point your arm straight ahead to walk, and you can point your arm to the left or right to pivot. I've heard complaints about this, but you do get used to it eventually. Still, I probably would have liked to see the option to use the old Xbox controller for walking around, as walking by pointing isn't all that intuitive.

The ticket will lead you around to meet different characters. Of course, the first character you meet is Mickey, who gives you an autograph book. You're basically given different tasks to do around Disneyland. You need to find Donald to sign to book, and then return it to Mickey. Then you need to get Goofy's autograph. And so on. It's not really challenging, as the golden ticket will lead you straight to the right character and there's also a map you can use to see where any character is at any given time. Once you encounter a character there's a fair amount of interaction you can do with it--you can shout "Hey there!", get their autograph, dance a jig with them, high five them, hug them, and take their picture with a magical camera that Mickey gives you.

And so this is basically the first way to play Disneyland Adventures: walk around the park, interact with the characters, and solve different quests that they give you. You can collect coins throughout the park which you can eventually use to purchase virtual souvenirs in the stores. There are also "magic items" you can collect which will unlock secrets throughout the park.

You can just walk around and explore the park if you like. In some cases you'll bump across different rides you can take just for fun, for example, riding the roller coaster in Mickey's Toontown or the Dumbo Ride in Fantasyland. The attention to detail is spectacular, right down to the first-person view you see while sitting on the rides, to the storefronts along Main Street, to the views you get walking from land to land, right down to the location of the Fastpass ticket machines and the crowds (whom you can eavesdrop on).

Of course, as you walk from land to land, you'll come across the "attractions" (if you don't feel like walking around, you can "fly" from land to land by pulling up a park map). These are basically mini-games, and there are a staggering number of them. Each attraction is broken into different parts. The best way to describe each mini-game is that they're idealized version of the Disneyland rides; for example, on Space Mountain, you're really flying through space and on Thunder Mountain Railroad you're really in a mine shaft. You can collect coins in all the rides are well.

Here are the attractions:

FRONTIERLAND:

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: there are two parts to this one; in the first one, you're pumping a mine cart to try to get in front of a runaway train, and in the process you can reach out and grab coins (which will be a recurring theme through all the games). In the second one, you're running on the top of the train trying to get to the front to stop it. There's actually no running involved; your character runs on his own and you basically need to lean left and right and duck to avoid obstacles.

ADVENTURELAND:

Jungle Cruise: there are three parts to this one. The first part was very much like the ride, complete with smart-alecky boat captain and rhino-infested waters. Here, you man a water cannon as your jungle cruise floats down the river, shooting barrels (which release coins) and the occasional rhino or elephant. The second part of this game is a blast--you need to mimic a guard ape's motions to disarm the ape, and then get into a fruit fight trying to hit a bunch of apes by throwing bananas. In the third part of this game, you're kayaking down some rapids, trying to steer out of danger by leaning left and right.

CRITTER COUNTRY:

Splash Mountain: There are two parts to this one. In the first, you run after Br'er Rabbit (you'll run automatically but you can in run place to go faster). Eventually you get to Splash Mountain, where you jump into a boat and steer by leaning left and right. In the second part, you're in a barrel going down the familiar waterfall, again leaning left and right to steer and swinging at mushrooms and items thrown at you for more points.

Winnie the Pooh: The graphics of this one were phenomenal as you're transported to Pooh Corner, drawn in the exact style of the movies. For the first part of this, you fly through the air holding onto balloons, following Winnie the Pooh on his baloon. You can flap your arms to move higher and duck to go closer to the ground. You need to collect coins and honey. In the second part, you're bouncing along with Tigger by bouncing up and down as if on a pogo stick, giving an extra bounce to avoid obstacles and to collect honey. In the third part, you're essentially playing a game of "catch" (a lot like baseball in Kinect Sports 2) where Piglet and Roo are chucking presents at you from a bush.

NEW ORLEANS SQUARE:

Haunted Mansion: In the first part of this game you're flying through the Haunted Mansion, steering to move left and right to avoid obstacles like chairs, cabinets and paintings. Occasionally you have to match the poses of paintings to fly through them. In the second part of the game you need to escape the mansion by leaning left and right to run and pointing a flashlight at ghosts to make them explode into a pile of coins.

Pirates of the Carribbean: The first game here is a very realistic game where you paddle a boat with two oars, but then the game turns into one very much like the kayaking game above..

TOMORROWLAND:

Astro Blasters: This was a rail shooter game where you fight alongside Buzz Lightyear. As before, you fly by leaning left and right. You shoot by pointing your arm straight out at what you want to shoot (the blaster will fire automatically when you point at a target). As levels progress, you get into a spaceship flying through tunnels, battle Zerg by taking out shield generators, and escape by flying. This was definitely one of the more fun ones, which should appeal to young boys.

Space Mountain: Here you get in your space ship and fly through space graphics inspired by the ride. To steer, you basically hold your hands out like they're holding a steering wheel, and navigate up, down, left, and right. From time to time you'll have to shoot things with a blaster.

Finding Nemo: There are three parts to this game: Coral Reef, Bruce and the Sunken Ships, and East Australian current. The first game is a game of "hide and seek" where you need to hide behind certain objects so Nemo can't find you (easier than it sounds as there's a current you need to swim against and objects bumping into you). In the second and third games you're swimming and collecting coins (which feels pretty much the same as the flying games)

FANTASYLAND:

Peter Pan's Flight: Again, this is a flying game where you're leaning left and right to steer and collect coins. What makes this one special is the stunningly beautiful graphics that come right out of the movie. In later levels of this game, you're battling the Jolly Roger (basically dodging and swinging at debris and cannonballs being fired at you), flying through Neverland, and having a sword fight with Captain Hook..

Matterhorn: Here, you start out on a bobsled following Goofy down the Matterhorn. It's definitely cool, but on the other hand, it feels a lot like the other flying games (lean left and right to steer, avoid obstacles, and pick up coins). The second part of the game is a snowball fight, very much like the banana fight in Jungle Cruise. The third part of the game is skiing, again, a lot like the flying games.

Pixie Hollow: This is one of those rare games that don't involve flying. In it, the fairies of "Tinkerbell The Movie" sit around and tell stories, and you need to strike the correct pose to get them to continue. This is definitely one for younger girls.

Princess Faire: Think "Just Dance", but with Belle, Ariel, Tiana, Cinderella, or Aurora acting as your trainer as they dance to their signature Disney song. It's not as sophisticated as Just Dance (if you strike the right pose at the right time, you basically get the points), but I think a lot of young girls will get a thrill out of this one.

It's a Small World: The graphics and music in this one are very reminiscent of the ride, if not the content. In it, you crank a boat to "sail through the world", stopping at various lands such as Africa, the South Pacific, and the American Old West. Each time you stop, you'll need to mimic the moves of a dancer to get points and coins.

Alice in Wonderland: Another game which has fantastic graphics that are reminiscent of the Disney movie, but with gameplay much the same as above (for example, as you're falling through the rabbit hole you need to lean to your left and right to avoid obstacles and collect coins)..

First, the good. I found the graphics and animation to be amazingly detailed and accurate. For example, when playing Winnie the Pooh, the graphics, with all the scenes, the characters, and even your avatar drawn in the familiar style of the movies. Similarly, in the Finding Nemo games, the graphics take on a computer-generated Pixar feel. In the Peter Pan game, the graphics of flying through London are stunning just like in the movie. And so on. The designers and illustrators of all the mini-games definitely kept true to the originals, and Disney fanatics will be thrilled to spot a lot of little details.

The same can be said for the voice talent and music. Everything from the narrator of the Haunted Mansion to the voice of Buzz Lightyear to the sound effects of Space Mountain to the music in Splash Mountain are completely accurate to what you find in the park and in the movies and cartoons that inspired them. There were some cases where hearing a particular ride's music brought back memories for me from years ago at Disney World.

I was also pleasantly surprised at how physical many of the games are. In some of them I definitely had an elevated heart rate and felt I got a little exercise out of them.

The one gripe I do have about the game concerns the gameplay itself. As you might be able to tell from my descriptions above, there are a staggering number of games but a lot of them feel very redundant and repetitive. Despite the dizzying number of different milieus, there seem to only a small handful of games at the core: namely flying games (where you lean to the left and right to avoid obstacles), rail shooters, snowball fights, and follow-the-leader games.

After the fifth or sixth flying game, you can't help but think to yourself, "this again?" I think out of the 50 or so games, there were only a handful that I really felt "this is really something new and original" with regards to the gameplay. I would have loved to see as much creativity and originality in designing the games as there was in designing the game audio and visuals. Although one last thing that should also be noted is that the games do support two players, which of course adds a whole new dimension--what may otherwise be an exercise in tedium as one player can become a thrilling competitive battle for two.

Overall, this is a very fun title which should definitely appeal to fans of the Disney theme parks and the cartoons (which is basically 99% of us). I'd say that young players will definitely appreciate the game more; ironically, the very repetition that may make the game a little tiring for adults may be welcome for kids, as they can master the moves easily and play essentially the same games in different environments.

Kids will also love exploring the virtual park and interacting with all the characters, and certain parents will love that this game can keep their kids busy for a long, long time. If your child loves collection those blinging coins in Lego games, they'll appreciate collection coins throughout this world--and spending them. It's still not a substitute for actually going to the parks, but it's the next best thing.

Wow! I've only played a couple hours, but wanted to share some impressions.

I've been to Disneyland a handful of times and the park is faithfully recreated in the game. Playing it brought back memories from my actual visits.

Presentation: The graphics are very nice and colourful as you'd expect, its amazing how much detail they put into the park and all the tourists, you hear bits of conversation while walking from tourists. The Disney Characters are wonderful as are their voices. The Music is perfect and properly placed, such as the teacup song in the wonderland area of Fantasy Land. I did notice very minor pop up and a couple snags when rotating quickly or riding the dumbo type rotating rides, but its nearly perfect.

The Gameplay: There is so much to do, I was happily suprised with the variety. Certain Characters will give you items(a wand, Buzz Lightyear Gun so far) to interact with in Disneyland while traveling to your next ride/adventure, or completing a quest for Mickey or Alice.

Character Quests: So far Alice has asked me to find an item for her she lost, which led me to the Mad Hatter who asked me to take some photos for his album. Cinderella has asked me to find 3 items for her etc. I think there are over 100 quests.

Fast Pass is activated by raising both arms, if you don't feel like walking the whole park to get to your favorite Land or Ride.

The Kinect controls: Are well done with a bit of practice, pointing to walk works well, you don't have to point with your arm straight out to walk it can be low minimizing fatique, you can move your arm to turn/rotate or move your shoulders. It all comes naturally after a little while, once you remember to lower your arm to stop. I'm impressed with the controls, navigating Disneyland for real can be a challenge ;)

Most selections can also be made with Voice Recognition (Return to Park, Yes, No, Clothes, Map Navigation etc.), something I'm enjoying more with Kinect, now that I'm ued to talking to my Xbox!

I've only really explored Fantasyland and a bit of Tomorrowland. In these 2 areas I've discovered you can ride the rotating rides with a first person view, nothing too special but a nice touch.

The Main Rides/Adventures: So far are really fun and longer than I expected. And each have multiple parts, such as falling down the rabbit hole, croquet with Alice and the Queen, and The Tea Party.

There is a shop in each Land where you can buys clothes, hats, costumes, for your character.

My son is a little young to play (nearly 2) but he loved watching and even tried to fly with Peter Pan (his favorite movie). When I exited to the title screen he applauded, and when I turned it off he got sad for a bit, so yeah your kids will love this, unless they hate disney for some odd reason?! Its fun for the kid in all of us and a great family game, with the easy drop in drop out feature.

I highly recommend it!

Ditto on the positivies thus far, as far as the most helpful negative review have you tried saying XBOX fast travel. Then a menu with things you can say comes up. You can get very far, very fast with this.

My ten year old typical was definitely a huge boon to sortig out this game, but my autisitic son loves the peter pan flying game. We own a wii, and an xbox,I've bought so many games from walle to toy story on wii, to sesame for kinect(I still have hope, he's been under the weather since we got that one). But this disney game always brings a smile to his face.

Fast travel is very nice, even my daughter still uses it sometimes but she has also figured out you can just point straight ahead. She loves to play this game for her "older" brother. A lot of her friends come over and they sometimes don't know how to play with her brother, but they totally get into it with this.

The girls do seem bothered when there avatar's change somewhat randomly, but they quickly got over it in favor of all the fun to be had.

One last note the voice commands are so good they even respond to my special needs sons commands, and he is considered nonverbal! He loves to order the game around.:)

Ofcourse it helps that he loves Disney and Mickey!

I bought the game for my 8 year old niece, but quickly found that the adults and teenagers in our home were fighting over who would get to play next! The graphics are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen on Xbox360, and the attention to detail is simply amazing. I know there are lots of familys with young children who haven't been able yet to afford going to the park,(I've been there) and this is the closest thing to actually being there that you will ever see! For those who have been to Disney, There are times when (with a little imagination) you really do feel like you're actually at the park, and interacting with the characters who are scattered about is great fun, but I imagine it could get a bit repetitive after a while. I still can't get over the way the game looks, (try finding some youtube videos of the game and you'll see what I mean.) It's a strange feeling to virtually walk around the park, and see places and compare things that you've seen when you were actually there, as an example someone in our group said "there's the table we sat and ate our lunch at!" My family has just started to unlock the seemingly endless quests, minigames, and the like that the game has to offer, so I will probably add to this review after we've played it some more, I just wanted to let anyone who might be looking for that magical Christmas present know that this game is a blast to play, and will suit ANY person who likes Disney no matter their age. It does require a Kinect, whish is a camera looking device that sits atop the tv and allows for a person to interact with the game by just moving their body, instead of using a controller. I would suggest either a new one from Amazon, or possibly looking somewhere like craigslist for one, as you can get them pretty cheap second hand. Well, I have to go now, it looks like it's time for fireworks over Cinderella's castle!

I recently returned from a trip to Disneyland with my wife and 3 year old, so this title caught my eye at the store.

You pick an avatar and move him through a combination of quests and experiences set in the Disneyland park. The game has a faithful rendition of Disneyland itself that you can wander freely through. You can get your avatar to walk (well, trot really) pretty much anyplace you wan go normally in the park, just by pointing forward to walk, or to the sides to turn. (works better than it sounds). There's also a park map you can access that lets you jump to different places in the park if you don't feel like taking the time to walk there, which is a nice timesaver.

Some rides (such as the teacups) you can ride and have it look like the real thing. Others such as the matterhorn, big thunder mountain railroad, and the haunted mansion are mini-games which follow the theme of the ride, but not the actual structure of it. There's reasonable variety to the games, and I really enjoyed them. The voice acting is also quite good, as you would expect from a disney-branded title.

The disney characters play a prominent role in wandering around disneyland. You can collect their autographs, hug them, dance with them, or high five them. You can also stop in some of the shops and buy clothes and pins for your avatar.

One of the best things about this game: it's just as fun to watch as it is to play! My toddler and my sleepy wife were both spellbound as I played for the better part of an hour.

The controls are a little too sensitive for my tastes, but at least they're responsive. I figure I'll get more used to them over time.

Overall this is a great family game, especially for any family that either wants to visit disneyland or has recently been. I really was shocked at just how faithful to the park's layout and look and feel (well, except for the crowds which are quite sparse) the game is. Awesome!

Pro:

+ It really feels like walking around disneyland!

+ Nice, safe environment to interact with the various characters, and some cute 'emotes' to do with them.

+ fun mini-games for some rides

+ good navigation, both for walking around, and for jumping to places without having to walk.

+ voice menus work pretty well, I was very happy with this as a time-saver!

+ Great fun to watch as well as to play.

Con:

I wish I could ride a rendered version of ALL the rides rather than just a few

controls are a little sensitive and take some getting used to

Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to my Disney fanatic friends!

this is probably one of the best mods ive have ever used. it came in PERFECT shape, the red LEDs look even better in person because there more of a darker red. The only semi-bad thing is if u you want to have a EXTREMELY fast semi-automatic sniper, you have to use the user-pregram. it is confusing how to use this option and i still don't get how to make it go 10 shots per second. i read the manual but it doesn't make it go faster? Overall this is a wonderfull buy, and has really fast shooting in MW2.

I finally figured out how to use the user-reprogrammable mode on the controller and makes the semi-auto snipers go very fast. but makes the M9 and USB go slow. but i recommend anybody who want a mod. my friend bought a 150$ mod and we wanted to see whos was faster. After several test this controller was twice the speed of that controller. plus this one looks cool and has jitter which is amazing. If you are afraid that this guy will rip you off, look at all the ratings of 5 stars. This is the best buy i have ever made on amazon.

Ok, first, let me get one thing out of the way.

The xbox 360 controller was probably one of the best, if not the best, gaming pads I have ever had the privilege to use. Even after all these years on market, it never gets old.

Now, the X1 controller is, without a doubt, a new standard in the xbox's line-up of controllers. I have bought this one from gamestop and it's in my home, ready to be played with the xbox one, so this review is a summary of using the controller from all of the events that I have attended (xbox one tours, microsoft store xbox one events, e3, gamescom, etc.) so I have had a fairly lengthy time using the controller. The ergonomics are simply brilliant as the controller fits snugly in your hand and it is a bit smaller and tighter so all the buttons are more easily reachable.

One of the best things about the new controller is the impulse triggers feature. Oh, man. These things are just great. They said that they integrated a whole bunch of tiny rumble parts so that when you shoot a weapon, drive a car, run in a game, etc.whatever you do in a game will match the action to the rumble feedback for more realism. I tried this out with forza and man, this is a world of difference. This feature alone would warrant this controller 5 stars, but the improved grip on the thumbsticks, the more fluid trigger-to-button layout, and the removal of the battery pack bulge on the back add even more value to this controller.

Now, the last thing I have to mention. The D-pad has been finally fixed. It now rests in a depressed setting at the same location as the x360 controller, but now the D-pad is designed to work flawlessly with fighting games and other games that rely more on the D-pad. I tried this out with killer instinct at one of the events and it worked wonders. Huge, huge improvement over the xbox 360 D-pad (which was just awkward).

Overall, the Xbox One controller is brilliant, already piling more improvements and features on top of an already awesome xbox 360 controller.

The improved D-pad, innovative impulse-triggers feedback mechanism, insanely comfortable grip and ergonomics, and other tiny little things make the Xbox One controller a great new addition to the Xbox family of controllers.

Oh, and that sweet looking Xbox logo at the top looks slick as ever.

The upgrade from the 360 controller to the XB1 controller isn't as significant as the upgrade from the DS3 to the DS4 controller, but it doesn't need to be. So when people say the DS4 is a better improvement than the XB1 controller is, please take that with a grain of salt because the changes between the 360 and the XB1 controller didn't need to be that drastic.

I had the ultimate pleasure of playing with the Xbox One at E3, and I have also been playing with it in Microsoft Stores around my area. I simply love the controller. The XB1 controller feels even more natural than the 360 controller, and at one point I completely forgot I was using a new controller because of how naturally fitting it was in my hands a good thing, I must say.

Thank god the d-pad is better now.. in that it's easier to use. I feel like the d-pad is really cheaply built, though.. which makes me sad. The XB1 controller feels lighter than the 360 controller, and it's probably made of materials that weren't as expensive to mass-produce (yes, I'm saying the 360 controller feels a lot more sturdy than the XB1 controller, but that's also just entirely my opinion, as is this whole "review").

The actual analog sticks feel a BIT smaller than the Xbox 360 ones. I don't know if it's true or not maybe my fingers got fatter these past few months.

At the end of the day, the controller is very, very comfortable to use. There's no "learning curve," no "adjustment period," no change you need to get used to. Pick it up, turn on your Xbox One, and get going. That's the beauty of it. It didn't NEED any revolutionary changes. The changes it did need to make, however, have finally been made!

I won't get into the details, because I think enough people have covered that. But I will tell you that this controller is nice improvement from last gen.

Now I want to touch on what a lot of people seem to complain about: AA batteries.

Now at first this seems stupid, but if you think about it, it is actually nice to have this option. If you buy a good set of rechargeable batteries, you don't need to drop $25 extra for each controller. Also the Kinect recognizes when you are not using the controller and shuts it off. So your battery power goes a lot further. Swapping out batteries and not being tied down by a cord is a much better option. Especially if you are swapping out rechargeable batteries and don't have to worry about running to the store. So in the end... people stop complaining about the batteries, and the plug and play kits. You don't need to buy the kit for each controller, or buy the kits at all.

The new controller feels great! I really like the new D-pad, and it feels like it would be very comfortable during long gaming sessions. I wanted to hold off on writing a review for this headset for a few months before writing a review, mainly because I had heard that some of these gaming audio devices don't hold up over time. Unfortunately, this was the case for the Turtle Beach DPX21's.

The good things first.

They truly sound great. They don't have the absolute best sound on the market, but they DO greatly enhance the level of immersion in games, and they do provide a great advantage in popular competitive games such as COD/Battlefield, etc. They don't have true surround sound (they offer simulated surround sound) but that doesn't mean that you don't have a sense of directionality besides left vs. right, quite the oppositeyou'll be amazed at the level of 3-dimensional precision that these headphones add to your sense of perception while playing a game.

They're lightweight, and confortable, so no problems there.

They are very easy to set up. Just plug a couple cables here and there, turn a couple scrolling wheels to adjust the bass, and you're good to go. The cable that connects the headset to the DSS box is long, so it allows for quite a bit of freedom, and the excess length can be easily coiled up to keep it compact.

The microphone works great. It's very flexible, and your voice will go through outstandingly clearly, and with zero to very very little background noise.

Now for the bad...

As great sounding as these are for the price, they are very poorly constructed. The part where the swiveling section of the headset connects to the actual ear cup is pitifully fragile. The two sets of these that I owned broke at the very same spot. The ear cups are ultimately connected to the rest of the headset by a very small (about 1/4" in diameter) concealed plastic cylinder that carries the wiring to the speaker in each ear cup. This small cylinder is the part that fractured in both of the pairs of DPX21's that I purchased, despite my taking VERY good care of them (when you're in college, you get stingy about every dollar that you spend) so you can imagine my disappointment when my first pair broke, and then the replacement that I got broke in the exact same way, in addition to a faltering sound quality that started presenting itself a couple weeks before the headset fractured.

Once my second pair's sound started to give out, and ultimately broke like the first one, I decided not to deal with Turtle Beach again, so i decided to look inside the headset itself just for the heck of it. Now, I'm not an expert when it comes to electronic hardware, but I have done some work in a couple of my classes, and I can tell you that the soldering inside the headset's ear cups and volume control was very shoddily done. It was truly unacceptable how poorly done it was considering that this piece of equipment is so expensive.

I really didn't want to "badmouth" a product on a review, but that is what they are forto inform others of the quality of the product, so there you go.

I'm giving this product 3 stars because it really is a helpful and outstandingly enjoyable accessory, but is very poorly constructed, at least in my experience.

You can go ahead and purchase this Turtle Beach headset and just hope that yours holds out longer than the two that I owned did, and that I just happened to get two defective ones that were poorly constructed. And I honestly hope that that was the case, because I don't want thousands of people to spend this much money for a product that is likely to break on you or will simply start to deteriorate in performance so quickly.

This pair of headphones has a truly spectacular frequency response range. Despite the fact these are headphones, you will FEEL the bass reverberating between your ears! The fact that these work with pretty much any audio source you'll run across from stereo analog input to digital fiber optic is pretty sweet.

I've owned many headphones. Be it from cheap stereo to "pseudo-surround", such as the Plantronics Gamecom (pseudo-surround) and I even have a pair of the mid-line SHURE headphones (they have reasonable bass response), this pair will blow them away.

Sound is crisp in the mid/high range as well. For the price, you certainly won't be dissappointed! If you're a SHURE headphone fan, these will really impress you.

The only downside to these are the MASSIVE amount of cables that accompany them. It's not that there's many, it's just that they're really LONG (which is GREAT in most cases!)... Just remember you're going to have to bundle them if you're going to use them on your PC (as I do) so they aren't strewn across your entire desk.

Overall, best headphone purchase I've made to date. Turtle Beach really knows their audio!

I never write reviews. In 12 years on Amazon, this is the second one I believe; but, I had to share my experience with these fantastic headphones. I'll be brief don't worry about price; cost (rather than price) implies value atop price, and let me tell you the added value is well worth it. Besides the 5.1/7.1 ability (separating it from the lower tier model), is the fact that it is usable on X360, PC, and Mac, which is fantastic for me since I game on literally every modern platform. My PC gaming sessions, audio/video work on Mac, voice chat/calling, has been as great an experience as on my preferred gaming platform, PS3. I mention this because I've played with dozens of headsets over the years and nothing comes close. As far as making calls over Google Voice and Skype, the good news continues. The cords are quite long (at least 15 feet I'd say), which works well in my large living room. Set up was a breeze for me and will be for you. I mean, if you've connected a modern home theater set-up...come on, this is child's play.

The over the ear design is extremely comfortable and I barely notice having them on after several hours of listening. I love the independent controls for chat vs. the game, important for team play during multiplayer matches and MMO's. The bass is quite prolific and easy to control. Other reviewers likely couldn't figure out that you just need to lower it on the main unit, so you can adjust accordingly on the other control unit that you keep close to you during matches. From a gameplay standpoint the channel separation is just fantastic and it really does help in picking up attacks vs. a non-surround set-up like my previous 3 channel soundbar. I had a 5.1 setup in my old house and I can tell you that now that I've gone DPX21, I would never go back to gaming with a traditional 5.1/7.1 external speaker setup. It's just needlessly disruptive for those around you and totally unnecessary. The experience with this headset trumps any setup I've experienced in my home or in any friends' homes. I don't know what it is, but I usually feel underwhelmed in some way by most setups either by weak sound, inconsistently delivered volume on separate channels, or when they're properly powered and loud the reverberation in the wall or some other factor takes the cleanliness from the sound, not to mention it's usually bugging someone somewhere. I really can't say much else, other than to buy this gem of a product and you'll be happy (as will housemates).

WOW as soon as I put them on I was blown away. My friend uses G35's on his PC and even he was impressed. Sound quality while playing games is incredible, you can hear every tiny sound and know exactly where it is. The mic is very clear and the separate chat controls are great for when a screaming 13 yr old joins your game, and you need to slam the volume down to save your hearing. I don't know how I ever played without them.

PROS

Light.

Sound while playing games is great.

Can't really do much better for the money.

Bass blows you away.

CONS

The bass can interfere with other sounds when listening to music(wobbly sounding vocals but it only happens on really bass heavy songs).

You can knock the controls but its no biggie.

First time reviewer, long time gamer. I've been reading all the reviews, just as you, regarding these two headphones. We do this because of the hefty price tag, and I now feel that, having purchased both and then taken one back, it was time for a review to help. Running on PS3, so...

Originally bought the DPX21's, loved the comfort, ease of set-up (if your buying these, your not going to have a problem setting them up) and the wiring is LONG. I have dogs, and I set about 8-10 feet from the 61" while playing, plenty of slack and no problems let. Took them back to major outlet store because DSS was cutting out on me. This, in hindsight, was probably owner error I would recommend you don't even open the fiber optic cable, its garbage. I was using a Monster Cable optical which has a larger head on it, which was pressing against the power connector, which when moved, would stop the cut out phase. Again, owner error.

I then traded up (was only an extra $25) for the AXPRO's. I truely wanted the surround sound, and I can't complain about them. The wiring is similar but only 12.5 feet (TB's = 16). The converter box is cool, but really not long enough to sit back and make adjustments on the fly as it's no more then say, 3 feet from your console. Another thing I have a larger head (7 1/4 7 3/8ths) fitting baseball hats. Those that have indicated that the headset squeezes their melons, I didn't suffer that same fate. I will say, that they are not as comfortable as the TB's and are heavier, but those that also complain of fatigue or neck strain from the axpros should really get outside more.

For those late night gaming sessions, the contacts come out, the glasses go on... the axpros are not really that great for this. It took some adjustment, and it worked, no complaints, but again, not as comfortable as the TB's. With the axpros being powered (current model has only one cord going to the headset, it "Y"'s off at the converter box to power outlet) they do tend to heat up and get toasty on the ears after an hour or so. Not unbearable, but noticeable. The TB's... no concerns with breath-ability, and no concerns with glasses or total comfort as they are very lightweight.

Both reviews so far seem positive, and they are meant to be. I truly liked both, but what I've mentioned is what brought me to take the axpro's back for another DPX21 setup. Oh, and the one major factor, besides the heating of the ears would be that I enjoy playing team based games and talking with friends while playing... COD anyone? but you can't hear yourself talking in the axpro's. The DPX allows this, and is frankly, a major reason for me. My friends indicated that I was screaming at them (they too, all have the DPX21's)when the action got loud.

The axpros sound of directional sounds blows the DPX away... the rear control is excellent. And for those that still think you have to unplug the axpros, nah, just hold the master volume button and the top speaker control button on the controller for a few seconds, and it shuts off. Same way to turn it on. DPX turns on with the PS3, which is nice too. With the DPX, its really right, right fade for rear, and left, left fade for rear. Pretty good reproduction, but nothing like the axpros. But for me, it's the TB's all the way better sound as a whole (axpro's somewhat tinney, DPX better bass) and the microphone issue, along with breathing ears. You won't go wrong with whichever you choose. I'd rate them both 4 stars.

Oh, and I did use a smaller digital cable on 2nd set up! Lesson learned.
