This play and charge was a great addition to my 360 system. The battery life is lower than using standard alkaline batteries but buy a couple extra battery packs and you're good to go. It still lasts plenty long for several lengthy rounds of Black Ops Zombies. If you need a new controller I would recommend this. The cable is plenty long and lets you play and charge simultaneously. If you don't need to play and charge, I would recommend the dual-battery high speed charger. It's not really as "speedy" as the name makes it sound but allows you to charge 2 packs simultaneously without having your xbox on.

I bought this to replace an older controller, but the battery doesn't stay charged for very long, so basically it is just plugged in all the time. So it might have been better to just buy the wired controller. My last controller would last days on a charge, this one only last hours.

Controller works great. Charger works great. However this is not a game to rate... Happy with purchase for my son to use with his XBox. Needs battery though, the one that came with it won't hold a charge.

this controller is everything i expected it to be. its excellent and durable. very comfortable. the charging cable is a very long 9 feet and the battery last about 12 hours between charges which is pretty good, especially for hardcore gamers. i recommend it.

Deffinatly Does What its supposed too i will surely buy the controller again soon to complete 4 black controllers and this is the one to have the charger kit has lasted me about 3-5 days of intense gaming without issues if charged properly so game on and game on with the right controller!!
