I first experienced this game by trying the demo. After that I was sold. The NFS games have had their ups and downs over the years. The racing storyline seems to change on a yearly basis keeping the concept fresh. With Carbon you are a brash racer who is coming back to his old haunts. Now it's up to you to race others in non stop action. I was in awe playing this game realizing how wonderful the graphics were. They really bring the environments alive as you are able to see how long they spent creating these wonderful environments. The excitement that comes from this game is when you begin to realize that your in a nonstop world with the ability to find races anywhere in the city. There are numerous territories that are controlled by different racers and it's up to you to challenge those racers for the territory. Being succesful takes many steps as you have to compete in several races before you can challenge the leader of each racing group. That is where you get to have a pulse pounding race in the canyons. Avoiding hair raising turns that can have you swerving off a cliff. In this game you will experience the tried and true formula of the pursuit where the police will be on your tail and you can gain a wanted status. What's new to this game is the teammate formula where you are able to use the team mate to take out an opponent. The system works well for the most part and adds a great new addition into the NFS series. I would have to say overall this has been one of my favorite NFS games. If you enjoy great arcade racing give Carbon a try. You won't regret it.

Gameplay: 8.4

Every car handles differently, every course is linked together in one massive world, and the controls will take you back to the days of arcade racers like Daytona USA. (Actual arcade racers the ones with $5,000 cabinets all arcade owners dreaded purchasing.) The customization features are a little shallow, and the game is a little easy. Okay, a lot easy. But you'll love the ride while it lasts, and you're going to want to play through this racer more than once.

Graphics: 8

The cars look amazing. Every part of them is packed with realistic detail. Even the interiors are noticeably accurate. The cars reflect the city lights quite beautifully, and will do so differently depending on the type of finish that's been applied (chrome, matte, etc.).

Carbon's environments aren't nearly as memorable. The backgrounds aren't that far beyond what was possible with the old Xbox. Also, the cars, as gorgeous as they are, cannot be damaged. They can crash repeatedly, and abolish generic police vehicles. But your vehicles which are from licensed manufacturers are as protected as those in Gran Turismo, save for a few scratches every now and then (that magically disappear after every race).

I know that this is what most, not all, automakers want. But if some manufacturers are on board and others are not, maybe it's the supportive companies you should be focusing on to give the gamer the most intense experience possible.

Sound: 7.9

Hurray for the return of full-motion video! First you get to see the actors, who look toward the camera when talking to the player's character as if you were actually in the story. The actors also appear in polygon form, with extreme realism to boot. Their polygon expressions are a little better than their real expressions, mainly due to the real actors' lack of believability.

The voices they're better than most, but have a hint of "video game syndrome." It looks like a bunch of actors were hired to be in a video game. It doesn't look or sound like they were hired to be in a professionally written story. Which isn't too surprising. Carbon's characters only have one theme: "take my city and I'll hate you forever" (an exaggerated but truthful interpretation).

Difficulty: Easy/Medium

Most Career mode races can be won on the first try. The external challenge mode provides additional races to conquer, but they're not enough to boost this game's difficulty.

Concept: 7.5

It's Need For Speed all over again. I'm not about to be one of those crazy people who say the series needs an overhaul to be great again. It doesn't. I love the direction the developers have taken. That said, it's not an original direction, just one of polish. But this series is meant to be a certain way. To make it original again would likely eliminate all the things we love.

Multiplayer: 8

Four for co-op; eight for multiplayer via Xbox Live. Some of the Career mode races are playable online as well for added challenges.

Overall: 8.2

A throwback to the good old, worry-free days of arcade racing. This is the kind of game you'll play after seeing The Fast and the Furious (or any other street racing flick). You might hate that series you might think the third Furious is the worst movie ever made. But mark my words, if you're flipping through and it's on TV, you will drop the remote, grab your 360 controller, and play this game.

I've been playing this game since I got it for Christmas. Normally, I'm more of a fan of shooting games but I really like this one. The graphics are very nice and the game is simply enjoyable. It is fun playing with a buddy on split screen but I do not have X-Box Live and therefore can't comment on the online aspect. I really enjoy the amount of customizing you can do to the cars, which includes nitrous, blowers, turbos, paint, graphics, suspension, etc, etc. One word of advice, when you start out in Career Mode go with something other than the Camaro because I was only able to win a limited number of races with it. It just handles too slopy. I went back to the Maza RX8 and have had much success with it. I'll go back to the muscle cars later because I'm a big fan of them.

Honest reviews on Need for Speed Carbon - Xbox 360

While so many people are more interested in the newer systems that are sold out, Playstation 3, and the Nintendo Wii, there is still a lot of action for Xbox 360 gamers, and holiday shoppers. That has also been said well with the Need For Speed franchise too. Since. they've started to thrive going back to the Underground series, many gamers have always wanted more. Last year, the Most Wanted edition of Need For Speed took gamers by surprise, by delivering the thrills of the race, with the pursuits of cops by the chase. Now, a new chapter has risen for Xbox 360 owners, but can it definitely deliver like before?

Need For Speed Carbon for the Xbox 360, tackles the fast and the furious as you battle your way to tackle your way through street racers and crew gang members, inorder to conquer the city with your crew. In the game you have many great and gripping tracks too from classics like the circuits, sprints, and the return of the drift race tracks from the Underground 2 era. You can also unlock great cars like the Didge Viper, exoticas like the McLaren, and muscles cars that have classic style and classic appeal. The graphics for the game have really shined and are truly polished with each control of the car. The control also brings ut the best with each car, and each bit of the chase. Sadly, though there are a couple of disadvantages to the game. One of them is the thrill of the chase against the police. It was more challenging back in Most Wanted, and there was more to challenge your cars with. Another disadvantage is that if you've played earlier versions of Need For Speed, you might have a too easy time beating the underground racers Darius and his crew.

All in all, I was mostly satisfied with Need For Speed Carbon, but I was just expecting a bit more excitement with each thrilling race. Nevertheless, I really recommend this as a must buy for Xbox 360 owners of all kinds, especially if you don't want to get yourself swept in the dust.

Graphics: B+

Control: B 1/2+

Fun & Enjoyment: B-

This controller is wonderful! I didn't want to blow $70 on a modded OEM controller, so this was the perfect alternative.

PROS

-Nice design

-LEDS on both handles

-3 modes for rapid fire

-rapid fire can be programmed to more that one button

-8ft of cable

-Works great for modern warfare 2

-Plug and play!

CONS

-Awkwardly bulky; feels weird in your hands at first, but you get used to it fast

-Cant attach a chatpad to it

-In Call of duty: world at war, the semi auto weapons will fire automatic, but at a very slow fire rate (Due to coding in the game)

-People will talk a bunch of smack and send you hateful msgs, calling you a hacker (Thats okay though, its hilarious!)

Build Quality: *** (A little too bulky)

Design: **** (Looks very nice)

Functionality: ***** (programmable to almost every button, and multiple buttons)

Overall, i give this controller a 4/5. Its a great tool to own in your favorite game!

Well,i wandered around amazon for a bit looking for a replacement for my madcatz controller[ the crummy thing's joysticks were getting uncallibrated and had a big RB issue.]

This controller got to me a couple days ago, suprisingly faster than i expected.my first impressions were, that the controller is a bit thick.depending on how you hold a controller, you might have problems with this, but it wasn't an issue for me.

The triggers are also a bit thick, and take a bit of force to fully pull.luckily, they only have to be yanked about halfway down, not even that,to get the buggers to work. The bumpers aren't as large as the ones on my last controller, but they work and are very easy to hit/activate,so always a plus for me.

hm,if i had to make some lists for this thing it would look like this..

PROS

+turbo function

+easy to hit bumpers

+larger triggers

+joysticks work with little force, and don't feel like they'd give if pushed excessively

CONS

-triggers take a bit of force to fully press in

-controllers thickness can make it odd to hold

-the lights activated by the controllers turbo warm up the grips to suprisingly temperatures if left on for a long time[took ~4 hrs for it to get to that point though]

overall though,if i had the cash,i'd get another one of these bad boys.

i was actually pretty happy about this order. its worth the money i paid for it wich is for teh turbo setting since i didnt feel like cutting up my $60 controller jsut to mod it like this and being able to pick how fast the contoller is is also a plus since some games cant register the highest setting.

+pros

-progamable speed

-turbo setting (duh)

Cons-

-the design of the controller is ...Chunky.. what i meen is that it doesnt fit snugly in your hand and feels weird.

-it doesnt feel solid and feels like it whants to break in your hands.

-the controllpad and directional pad are not the best.

other thoughts-

it is a wired controller wich i wouldnt count as a con or pro it depends on your preference since it is able to plug and play on a computer wich is really nice. also since it is wired it does not guzzle batteries wich if your an avid gamer can become costly

I'm just going to keep it simple.

Reasons not to buy this controller:

1) Very stupid controller design. Grips claw into you, hurting your hands big or small. Thumbsticks are convex and plastic without any bumps (making it extremely hard to keep your thumbs accurate).

2) The turbo fire goes off very slowly compared to any other turbo controller-It also sometimes jams your gun from firing in First Person Shooters.

3) Controller parts are made extremely cheap. I opened my controller up because a trigger physically jammed after 5 minutes of use, and there isn't much holding ANYTHING together.

4) It's Datel. It's a crap company to begin with, with a crap reputation for making crap products.

In Summary: When Datel was making this controller, evidently QUALITY IS OBVIOUSLY THE LAST THING THEY HAD IN MIND FOR IT. Thanks for reading.

Review of Whiplash

Whiplash
Customer Ratings: 4 stars
Buy Now
First of all, this is a completeley original game. Don't be fooled by it's dark and deranged outer shell, because Whiplash is a fun and inovative platforming/action game. The story goes like this. There is a evil, huge mega corporation that use animals to test new human products. It just so happens that Spanxs the weasel,( who was experimented on with electricity, ) and Redford the rabbit ( who was experimented on with beauty products, ) are chained together and are about to become fused together for the rest of thier lives. Yet they escape the grap of the scientists, and must elude capture at all costs, as well as free all of the other test animals. The only catch? They're chained together.

It does sound wierd, but it is completley addictive and fun. You use Redford, who is indestructable because of a hairspray test that gave him an impeneterable shield, as a whip and can give him many funny and useful powerups. These include on that inflates, another that lets him electrify gaurds and other enimies, plus at least a dozen more. Or you can simply whip him about. The graphics, while not the best, are very unique and have a griddy/saturday morning cartoon look about them-not bad at all, and they stay at a very constant framerate. The sound is great, with a mix of bizzare sound effects and catchy music. The game is however not as long as it could have been, roughly about ten to fifteen hours depending on how good you are at it, but nevertheless, it is still well worth the forty dollars. I recommend Whiplash to everyone, so don't miss this clever and original game when it comes out the seventh!

This game is sooo good. Right up there with Spyro! Very funny especially the bunny Redmond who is your sarcastic weapon. Problems started for me when I started to collect the security cards. The blue balls in the ceiling are supposed to drop so you can swing up and they never did. I started over, and this time, in "waste", the second lock to the incerator wouldn't open even after i pushed the button. I started over again and when it happened again, i kept hiting the button and finally the incinerator opened. Finally, I got to tha part where you race to turn off the alarms. There are 3. I forgot where the third one was and din't reach it in time. It started me over with one to go, but no matter how many times I pushed it, it didn't work. Then, times runs out and life over. That's when I got angry. I see that this happened to someoen else, one other person in the reviews. I had been wondering if my game was defective. I am going to e-mail the company. I REALLY love this game and I am sad that I can't finish it without glitches.

This game is so bizarre! I got it because I liked the cover, but I have to say it's the funniest game I've played in a long time... The writing and story are great, the gameplay is addictive and fun, the object of the game is to break stuff and bring down the man! I wish I could give half points, because it looks like the game could have used some polish, but it's still really fun and well worth forty bucks.

Honest reviews on Whiplash

The first half-hour of "Whiplash" ushers the player into a seemingly new and exciting world of mischief and madness as Spanx the weasel feverishly flails the vociferous Redmond the rabbit in every which way during their escape from the animal testing labs of Genron. Sadly, the same senseless button-mashing is all it takes to progress through an otherwise bland, repetitive game.

Following the introduction of Spanx and Redmond, the player is unleashed upon the Genron staff and laboratories and is encouraged to destroy all that lay in their path. While the promise of the systematic destruction of an oppressive, animal testing corporation sounds like a lot of fun, the game becomes extremely repetitious as each "new" level changes very little from the last.

In addition to lacking gameplay, the graphics and sound leave a lot to be desired. Jagged polygons and flat backgrounds fill each level as the same sound effects are continually repeated as the Genron facilities are obliterated. Granted, Redmond's various comments about the mistreat of animals and his pending reports to the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (P.E.T.A) do offer a nice change of pace as the garrulous rabbit is swung into various pieces of equipment and gaggles of employees.

In short, "Whiplash" is the ideal game for someone looking forward to countless hours of random button-mashing with little strategy. If you are looking for a game with more substance, "Whiplash" is probably not the best choice.

I'm not much for platform games, but Whiplash definitely grabbed my attention. Most games try to be funny, but fall flat. This game is extremely rare in the humor department and had me laughing over and over again! Although the game can be quite difficult in some areas, but then again, it is definitely keeping the spirt of 'run jump and die' style games, and you will be doing A LOT of that in the later levels. Thankfully, there are plenty of free lives to find and you have ample oppertunities to get through an area before you run out of all your lives.

The artwork is definitely on the 'cartoony' side of things which is why I didn't give this game 5 stars. It's very colorful, but the textures are a little flat, but the level design makes up for a lot of that. Plus being able to destroy practically everything you see is tons of fun, and a great way to vent some anger!

This is definitely a game for anyone of any age who likes a good challenging platform game. Although younger folks might not understand some of the humorous banter, I'm sure they will get a chuckle out of all the other stuff they can catch and the weasel is just too darn funny even tho he never says a word!

This controller is awesome! A very unique controller for people who want to stand out! There's no losing or confusing this bad boy as the bright red radiation symbol is plastered across the face plate. Not shown in detail is the carbon-fiber-esc print on the black areas, giving it just the perfect subtlety.

In the past I had purchased the limited edition red controller, and had to return it because the triggers would squeak, very annoying, and not normal for a brand new controller. I was hesitant at first, fearing that this one would have the same problem, but it doesn't!! No annoying squeak = Happy gamer. Hope this helps someone, Enjoy!

This controller runs a little cheaper than the standard microsoft Xbox 360 controllers with the play and charge kits. I wasn't really a fan of the design on the controller, but for the price, I was willing to overlook the design, especially since this was bought as an extra for other people to use when they come over to play! Since this controller is made by Microsoft, you really do know what to expect, and your expectations are met! Other than the design that I wasn't a fan of, this product is great!

Let me first off say that I was a huge fan of the first HAWX installment and an overall huge fan of anything Clancy. I was eager to get this game because I had seen some great in-game footage of the AC-130 mission and landings were now included. Before I start telling you why this game is a disappointment let me tell you what is good about it.

1) The graphics are just as good if not better than the first HAWX. The detail of the maps are great and give you an almost there feel. The planes seem better as well. The plane graphics seem more realistic with a more war worn look that's not as clean as before.

2) It's more realistic. Even though you still have a ton of missiles available it seems the designers spent more time making it tougher to hit the target.

3) The A.I. is a lot more difficult. Gone are the days of sending out 4 missiles at a time, every map, at every threat. I only remember one map where multi-target was available and that was for ground targets.

4) New technology. You not only get to control an AC-130 but there are drones and precision guided bombs that expand the gameplay.

Now for the not-so-good parts of the game. I really like tough games, they are a challenge and make for more fun but this game almost made me snap the disc in half. Here's why.

1) Your wingmen are absolute garbage. They don't seem to do anything other than warn you of incoming missiles, as if the red warning lights, picture in picture, and warning buzzers weren't enough.

2) You will spent 90% of your time dodging missiles and 10% of your time TRYING to have a decent dog fight. The MIG-29's are great they are extremely tough to get a lock on but as soon as you get any where close to missile lock you have to break off in order to escape incoming missiles.

3) The missions are scripted. You can't pick which targets to engage like you could in the first HAWX. If you are trying to protect a ground base from tanks you'll be forced to break off and take out incoming fighters. When you attempt to kill the fighters the ground forces practically destroy the base. Once you get rid of the fighters and try to take on the ground forces again you are taken to a cut-scene or the mission ends. That's what really gets me, the enemy doesn't retreat if you overwhelm them like the first, its just over.

4) The storyline is boring. Rebel forces take over some Russian nukes, WOW that hasn't been done to death. Thankfully you can skip the load-screens after about thirty seconds.

5) This isn't that big of a deal but the game is pretty sexist. There is a female pilot who talks quite a bit throughout the campaign and she is pretty much the only source of a "team" feel. When she talks she is almost instantly told to be quite by one of your wingmen. In the end she sacrifices herself trying to take out an enemy target and the game is like, "alright she's dead who's up next?".

6) No choices of what planes or missile packages you get to fight with. You are given some really bad planes to take into combat and don't expect to play with too many US aircraft, the game is set as a world conflict so you only get to play the F-22 and Warthog in a couple missions, otherwise your Russian, French or English.

The first game was great it had creative and fun missions like protecting the President of the United States and taking on wave after wave of ground targets. This game is intense but I would say its not very fun. There seems to have been a complete lack of imagination on this one. I have only played the multiplayer a few times and it seems to be a rank up as you go system so maybe that is worth the price of the game. All I can say is the campaign is a huge let down.

ALL FEEDBACK IS APPRECIATED. THANKS AND GOOD GAMING.

HAWX 2 puts you in the cockpit of a variety of fighters and in control of some drones in order to accomplish a variety of missions against a stiff opposition of anti-air fire and enemy aircraft. As a preface to this review, I own and enjoyed the first HAWX and I only play with the xbox controller (though I am thinking about investing in a flight stick).

HAWX 2 does some things very well. The AI aircraft in the single-player campaign are much smarter than in the first incarnation of the game. Dipping and diving and trying to lock on to enemy aircraft is the heart of HAWX 2. Moreover the backdrop of deserts, rugged mountain peaks, and other locations are beautifully done. Screaming through mountain passes at tree top levels has never looked more realistic on the 360. The take off and landing effects are also very cool (especially on aircraft carriers). The narrative cut scenes that propell the story are ok (but I don't really play for the story).

The multiplayer is tons of fun. There are co-op mission modes and team battle. Team battle is up to 4 on 4 fighter combat and has a number of customizable features. You can pick from a variety of maps (points can be scored hitting NPC targets as well as enemy players). But what I loved was that you can select an "era": korean war, vietnam conflict, cold war, modern, or open. This era selection restricts plane choices to those available during the selected conflict. Also a various realism factors can be engaged to make the multiplayer the shining area of HAWX2.

Finally the perks system is very well done. You rank up both in your experience level and with each plane. To unlock customizable loadouts, you must play with each plane. Also, as you rank up special effects that give your team brief bonuses can be unlocked (these include radar jamming, camoflage, no missile lock warning for the enemies, etc).

Some things that are exactly like HAWX 1. All the planes have a lot of missiles (sometimes 30 or 40 missiles) and machine guns even stealthy modern planes that do not have the old dog-fight standby. The "realistic" mode in multiplayer helps to correct this.

And HAWX 2 missed the mark completely in two places: 1) campaign aircraft selection & 2) "assistance off" mode. First, In trying to stick to some sort of story-plot the plane you pilot in the campaign is scripted. I did notice that the rewards for ranking up did not seem to include the great variety of planes from HAWX 1,but this may change as DLC becomes available. Secondly, The assistance off move your perspective from the standard 1st or 3rd person to a zoomed-out third person. The idea is so you can see more of the battlefield. In reality you have very little control of your plane and the camera angles are wonky so you mostly fly in circles and shoot wildly.

All-in-all, HAWX 2 is a good game for your flight combat fix. It has some shortcomings, and is not a revolutionary advance over HAWX 1, but I can see myself flying the unfriendly skies for a good number of hours.

Best Deals for Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X 2 - Xbox 360

I think it was clear when they released the game at 49.99 that they felt it wasn't a premier game. Over HAWX they improved the graphics and added a couple of neat features. The "neat features" I refer to are the ability to finally take off and land (also taxi) even on an aircraft carrier at times. The story mode isn't that great, it has nothing to do with the book (neither did HAWX for that matter). Here are my pros and cons:

Pros

-Better graphics

-Can now taxi and land aircraft

-Has more weapons to choose from

-Online is slightly better (more options)

Cons

-CANNOT CHOOSE YOUR AIRCRAFT OF PREFERENCE!!!! (I don't want to be stuck flying a mig or su during certain missions... stick me with an F16 for all I care...)

-I will say again for con #2 that I want to fly planes of my choice, not a random foreign fighter jet.

-Story lacks a bit

-They incorporated several levels similar to Call of Duty's AC130 levels. If I wanted to play that, I'd put in Call of Duty 4.

-If you play the game with an aviation stick (flight stick), you suffer in dogfights from regular controllers, especially in the assistance modes where you can "bend the laws of gravity".

Conclusion:

I went back to play HAWX 1 just to choose my aircraft and play more clarified missions after a couple of weeks of playing HAWX2. Aviation games have never reached the level of potential that I expect from them. WWII games have been done to death and modern airplane games lack in detail. Thus far HAWX1 or AC4 are your best choice. Maybe the new Ace Combat will be worth playing. I give it 3 stars just for the graphics, average gameplay, and the simple reason that they came out with a sequal.

Honest reviews on Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X 2 - Xbox 360

This came takes all the great aspects of the first and throws them out the window with no regard. Plot, graphics & animations, computer controlled enemies and allies, and game play are seriously hindered, lacking, or not thought out at all. Please, do not purchase this game or pay full price, you will be wasting hard earned money.

The plot, oh the plot. They ripped off sections of popular games such as the AC-130 gunning, attempted to do the "multiple story lines that converge" method of plot, and clearly did not put much effort in telling a coherent story. As with most Clancy games, there is an overall story line that spans from EndWar to Ghost Recon. This game I guess is taking place in an alternative reality that ignored what happened in the previous game and all other games in this universe. Not to mention complete disregard for logic, in several parts of the game your fighter is not armed with missiles for no discernible reason, aircraft carriers double as landing craft, and its an acceptable choice to sink oil tankers. So, if story isn't such an issue for you, there are more reasons to not like this.

The graphics of this game are definitely lack luster and not on par for its generation of games. In cut scenes the lips of the characters don't sync up with speech, a really, really, dumb failure. This sort of characterizes the game, it just seemed like the design group didn't care. The maps are big but the models still look like they came out of a game years ago, small details I know but when you keep crashing into fuzzy poles, it gets annoying. The use of real maps is overhyped and a gimmick at best. The scales never seem right and I'm pretty sure they just threw the models in at random. But wait, there's more!

Your computer allies clearly take the "if I stay away from danger, someone else will deal with it" approach to combat. In HAWX 1, you could tell your wingmen to cover you or go out and engage. In this game, you are almost always a wingman and the only times you are a lead is when you are by yourself. So, don't count on your allies to watch out for you or help complete objectives or support craft to fire at anything. The enemies though take full advantage of the good old lazy programmer approach of infinite ammo. You will have portions of the game where you will endless circle, trying to lock on with the guns because missiles are ineffective against what seems to be flare infused fuel in your target's engine. The game's story was clearly balanced for multiplay with three of your friends (Assuming you have three friends with this game) being able to handle the vast number of enemies being thrown at you. This brings me to the last part of shortcomings.

You have no alternative control layouts, ability to change sensitives, or choice of aircraft. The game was meant to be played with a joystick. Like the mech game that required a giant $100 controller to play it properly, this game was designed for those of you who play lots of flight games and have put down the cash for a joystick. For the rest of us, deal with it. You will find yourself just flying in random loops, dodging endless missiles, and being thrown off by the very jumpy controls. Push the stick a little too hard and before you know it you are hugging a tree, hard. Then another "If it worked in the first game we shouldn't do it" moment was with the no choice of planes and loadouts. I can understand from a story point of view that Russians won't field US planes or when expecting flying CAS you won't have bombs. But by denying players the option of choosing to forgo the radar guided missiles (Good luck keeping those on target) for multi-AA missiles you just frustrate everyone. Oh and the landing/takeoff/mid-air-refuel stuff, it got old after the first time. Expect to spend minutes with the assistant thing (They also wrecked this system, its useless) trying land to end a mission. If I wanted to do those things, I would play a realistic fighter game.

Overall, this is a frustrating way to spend your time. If you're patient, more power to you. If your like me and would like the flow of the game uninterrupted by bad controls, allies, and such just play the original.

Great for dads and kids as there is no blood and gore which most teen onwards xbox games seem to be, just high speed and high flying fun. You get an f16 to start with so it can't be bad huh?

By the way, US ntsc format will work on UK xbox if you use HDMI connection.

I ORDERED THE X-BOX 360 ELITE ALTHOUGH IT WAS $183.00 IT WAS NOT A GIFT. I PAID REAL MONEY AND I DIDN'T GET A COMPLETE ORDER LIKE HE ADVERTISED. I WAS MISSING THE CONTROLLERS, THE HEADSET, AND THE CABLES. ALL YOU ARE GOING TO GET FROM THIS SELLER IS BAD ATTITUDE. DO NOT EXPECT TO GET ALL OF THE ITEMS THAT HE POSTS. DON'T COMPLAIN BECAUSE HE WILL LET YOU KNOW. DON'T ASK FOR A REFUND BECAUSE YOU AREN'T GOING TO GET ONE FROM THIS SELLER. Don't get fooled by the name, "Elite." Its not really an Elite Xbox 360. One it doesn't have a hardrive. Plus it doesnt come with any controllers or av-cords. Just the console and the power cord. Fortunately I had a controller and an av cord lying around the house. But the price was okay, so I guess thats good.

The Xbox arrive on time and was wrapped under the tree. My son opened it Christmas Morning, hooked it up and it work perfectly for 4 days, then it red ringed (3). I contacted the seller and they did agree to take the item back. I sent the item back and was refunded my money. Thank you. Though my son was very disappointed about his gift not working, I was pleased that they took the item back and refunded the money.

The unit works great, but one of the controllers was missing the rubber on the thumb joystick. I'll have to buy a new one.

Turned on my Xbox today and got the red ring of death. I bought it April 16 and it died October 9, not even 6 months. Maybe its time to buy a PS3!

The Hitman series is wonderfully composed in terms of gameplay, graphics, lasting appeal, and music. All three of these games play differently Silent Assassin being the longest, Contracts being the most confusing (in terms of story), and Blood Money being the most creative.

If you've never played the Hitman series before, you'll find all of this content fresh and new. Contracts is actually mostly a remake of the first game (not included in this Trilogy, there are actually 4 Hitman games). I suggest that you play them in the order of Silent Assassin, Contracts, then Blood Money. The reason being is that Blood Money is the most open-ended of the three, and features the most realistic AI that will not freak out as much as the earlier titles. Although the AI is different in the earlier titles, it doesn't necessarily mean they were worse, but I think you will find that Blood Money will be your favorite.

Aside from the excellent gameplay, you will probably find the music very impressive. The music in these three games were composed by Jesper Kyd, with the help of the Budapest Symphony Orchestra in some of them. Silent Assassin features an overwhelmingly intimidating soundtrack akin to the Imperial March from Star Wars. Contracts features more electronic-style music (not techno), while Blood Money returns to a more orchestral style, featuring an excellent rendition of Ave Maria.

Overall, the Hitman series turned out to be my favorite single-player shooter games. Blood Money is my personal favorite. You'll find that the game has a very high replay value, as you can achieve higher ratings based on your performance in the missions, and there are more and more ways to complete the missions, especially in Blood Money.

I did not buy the Hitman Trilogy, but I have played every single game in the series and I must say that eidosinteractive did a fantastc job with Hitman. Just recently, I decided to re-download Hitman Codename 47 and Hitman 2 Silent Assassin to add to the other two titles I have (Contracts and Bloodmoney) From the previous comments, it appears that there seems to be some sort of incompatibility issue with Vista Operatig systems. The easiest way to solve that problem is to go to the hitman2silentassassin set up icon/shortcut, right click on it, and go to properties. once in properties, click on the compatibility tab and go to "run this program in compatibilty mode for" area (select the radio button next to it) and select the operating system you want the game to be installed in. For Hitman 2, I selected Windowx XP. Once you do that, you should be all set. The game will install fine and will run with no problems. I don't know whether Contracts or Bloodmoney will run in Vista, but if they don't, just use the above method to solve the problem. I installed Codeman47 with no problems and hopefully I can run it in Vista without having to do the compatibility thing. Hope this helps...

The trilogy is great. There's something darkly funny about dropping a piano on someone. XD

The gameplay is simply amazing. The Ai is pretty much human or close.

I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a challenge and for those who just love stelth games.

This isn't really a review about the games they're all great. Specifically, this review is in regards to the cheap packaging this collection comes in. Don't get me wrong; $13 is an amazing price for these games. However, all Eidos has done is thrown each individual disc into one dvd case. It would have been nice to have Contracts and Silent Assassin on one dvd.

The worst part is that the discs aren't separated they just sit on top of each other, waiting to scratch one another. I was disappointed about this because I was looking forward to getting a nicely put together collection of some of my favorite games, instead of Eidos' overstock thrown into a box. If I wanted to own a stack of scratched-up games, I'd just burn a bunch of pirated games to dvds and stack them in the spool the blank dvds come with. I purchase games specifically to avoid that hassle!

Additionally, the instructions are all in black and white. Another strategy to make the collection cheaper? To me, they make it feel even more like a bootleg copy.

Another great game by Rockstar. It definately continues to push the envelope of what topics, language, and graphics are included within an "M" rating. For an adult gamer, who is not interested in cute pixie Japanese anime or warlocks/wizards/dragons...this is quite refreshing.

Gameplay covers a fair amount of the traditional GTA topics and missions. The passers-by are more varied and realistic in their portrayals. Some major differences my friends and I discovered:

1) A lot easier to pick up wanted level. And intially, until you figure out what/how to do things, harder to drop the wanted level.

2) Repeat mission capability makes it great when you wanted to show someone else that great line, inside joke, or just really fun event without having to do major amounts of 'save games'.

3) The entire map is open immediately...no road construction or police barricades to prevent you from entering an area until a certain story point. I was able to sneak into the headquarters of NOOSE (ultimate cop area) and fly a helicopter within the first 20 minutes of play.

4) Utilizing other platforms (mobile phone app, "GTA V Online) and integrating them into the game is nice. Lots of potential for future content and for other games to emulate.

Ordered this for my psp slim. Arrived a day earlier than expected. The HD cables work just fine, they put your entire psp screen on to your hd tv. This includes the homes screen, music screen, even the internet screen. One kinds draw back is that games do not fill the screen on the tv, this is NOT the cables fault, the programming fo the psp does not let it fill the screen, all other screens will fill the screen. The other thing is if you use a non hd tv, where youjusty use the yellow cable it will only display movies on your tv, nothing else, again this is not the cable, but just the prgramming of the psp. Othe rthan those two issues the cables work great.

I like this cable for the PSP. It is cheaper than Sony's offerings and it is both a composite and a component cable. There is a switch on the cable that lets you switch between composite or component.

I have tested the video output on both a 4:3 tv and a 16:9 hdtv and it works just fine from what I can tell. If you have a lot of movies on your PSP it really adds value to your PSP because you can watch your movies on the go, or on your TV.

I also recommend the 16GB mark2 memory stick pro duo card for your PSP.

I finished Far Cry 2, including most of the side missions. The guys that gave it 1-star reviews only played it for an hour or two. My played time was about 40 hours.

The graphics and the environmental sounds in this game are stellar. It's a full world, with day and night, animals (zebra, buffalo, gazelles, chickens, goats, and other flying birds), weather (shifting wind that picks up before a rainstorm), and fire that spreads and burns things. In this world, you can drive cars, Jeeps, trucks, boats and hang-gliders. There are no loading screens as you travel the 5x5 kilometer map.

And the parts of the world react to your presence. Animals run. Plants bend over as you walk on them. Grass sways in the wind. When you shoot, you hear your spent brass landing in the grass. Everything has a shadow that moves with it. It's incredibly well-done.

In the PS3 version, there were some graphical glitches, including basically all the things you always hear about: aliasing, tearing, pop-in, and occasionally slowing frame-rate. Overall, graphics were great though and these glitches are familiar.

The game is a shooter. There are dozens of weapons you can unlock. If you don't like the recoil on the starting weapon, you can buy a much better one.

There are about 85 total missions. Many of them can be done more than one way. It IS repetitive though. Generally, you're going to shoot someone or retrieve something or both. I'm not sure what people were expecting here, but it would have been nice if there were more variety.

The story is unexpected. You play a guy in a situation. There aren't a lot of real choices to be made. And it's a civil war so the choices you do have aren't very good ones. It's like Grand Theft Auto in this way -don't play it if you always have to be the good guy. Overall, I'd say the story is only ok-to-good. But it wasn't predictable and there was a satisfying pay-off at the end.

Good things about the game:

Graphics

Environmental sounds

Weather

Malaria I liked what it added to the story. (Other reviewers thought it was annoying.)

Swamp boats

Weapon variety

Length 40+ hours is a good value

Story ending

Dialogue

Buddy rescues for continues.

Medium things:

Voice-acting Could have been better. It was recorded in South Africa so the accents were authentic. Needed a separate control for voice volume versus shooting volume. And the actors talked a little too fast.

Few cut scenes I like cut scenes.

You don't play a good guy.

Characters weren't individual enough.

Bad things about the game:

Soundtrack it added nothing. It wasn't annoying, but what a huge missed opportunity.

Getting attacked at every crossroads by guards

Too much driving (But this isn't as bad as the other reviewers say. It seems bad for the first 60 minutes of the game, but after that you realize you can ride the bus or drive a boat.)

Mission variety

Wacky reasons behind some of the missions

Graphical glitches

Some bugs Guys would die and stay crouched. Game crashed a could of times. And vehicles jumped to kill me once or twice. Overall bugs were rare.

Shooting realistic-looking guys in the face might not be best for kids.

Overall, it was an amazing game. I'm glad I played it. There are games that are more fun. There are games with better stories. There are certainly games with better soundtracks. But this game had a wonderful world and an intriguing story. I hope Ubisoft comes out with another African adventure set in a world like this. I'll buy it.

Wow. For me, this is cutting edge gaming. I like the total immersion in a beautiful, hostile and huge landscape that allows me to explore a variety of habitats in all kinds of vehicles (including a glider!).

The minimal gamer data intrusions on-screen allow for much more of a feeling of entering the African world. On a widescreen HD TV, this is absolutely breathtaking.

Specific game play details are widely available, but I am very satisfied with the array of weapons, confrontations, variable character behavior for repeat play and startling action set-pieces.

The fact that day becomes night, the weather changes, fires left unattended can burn out of control and that weapons age and fall apart over time enhances all elements of this absolutely terrific game. Hard to imagine areas for improvement on this one given the premise.

And let me say again the terrain for open exploration is huge. Must be about 20 square miles of savannah and jungle. That is very big for a seamless open and widely variegated naturalistic landscape.

The mission is simple. You're a bounty hunter looking for an arms dealer equipping both sides of a bloody (tribal?) war.

Oh yes, here's the coolest thing of all. There's a fantastic Map Editor that allows you to design your own level. Yes, create a world of rivers, plains, jungles and structures. There are over a thousand choices! And then you and your friends can enter it for game play.

Highly recommended. This world is hard to leave...

One thing about this game is that it's initial appeal is huge. You launch the game and quickly notice that:

(1) Graphically, it's incredible. One of the best I've seen.

(2) It's got tight controls and it's fun to kill things

(3) The story seems immersive

But then after a few hours you notice:

(1) The story's not that immersive.

(2) While the fighting is fun, it's super-repetitive. This is why the game should be avoided. To be honest 99% of your missions are to go scout an area, or kill a guy, or take over an outpost, but they don't feel any different because this is how it plays out:

You get your mission, you spend 3 or 4 minutes driving to the mission, you encounter an outpost and have to kill everybody in it, drive 3 or 4 more minutes, then get to your mission point and kill everybody. That's fun to do for the first couple of times. But then you realize, that's the whole game until the last mission. I'm not kidding, it gets boring really fast. You get another mission, drive, kill people, drive to mission, kill, boring, boring, boring.

It's a shame because the game does look incredible. And it truly is fun for about 2 hours. Don't waste your money. But if you have to feed your OCD and play the game, buy it on eBay for less than $20 if possible. That's how I did it and I'm glad.

Honest reviews on Far Cry 2 - Playstation 3

I just played about an hour of single player to get the feel for the game before I tried the map editor and the online play. Single player visually is just a hair below the quality of COD 4 but hardly noticeable and at times it looks better. Guns break down over time and jam and then break unless you upgrade your weapons. Running is more like Gears of War than COD. Fire propagation is brilliant! After an hour I tried the map editor for about 10 minutes and the possibilities are absolutely limitless and show the most potential for online play out of any game available!!! Couldn't stand it anymore so I turned on the multiplayer. Fearing lag problems I was pleased to find NONE!!! We had several fires burning large areas and did not notice any lag at all. It takes allot more ammo to kill someone than Im used to but I quickly adapted to the change in play and absolutely loved it! Shotguns are 1 shot 1 kill at close range, sniper rifles accurate and powerful, the uzi is deadly accurate within 20 feet, and the machete is more fun than a knife ;) There are 6 classes to choose from and many different weapons available. All classes available can be upgraded for different weapons, more grenades or more powerful secondary weapons... Maps are huge and very beautiful! Supports 16 player online battles with an endless amount of maps that are as good as any I've seen. Lobby is well designed and works perfectly. You can vote past a map, vote off obnoxious players, vote to scramble the teams, mute players, and just about everything else we've found ourselves wishing we had in other game lobbies... If you were at all interested in this game you must buy it! If your just tired of COD 4 and not too stoked about COD 5 being WWII AGAIN try Far Cry 2, you will not be disappointed. Any fan of FPS's should buy this game for either console! My pick for sleeper hit of the year!!! I say sleeper hit because its not getting the buzz other games (ie;Little Big Planet and Resistance 2) are and may go unnoticed by allot of people. Absolutely love it so far and can't wait for my clan to get the game tonight!!!

My update 11-08-2008 After playing this title for a couple weeks I am continued to be impressed! There are a few multiplayer issues that I would like to talk about. When playing "Ranked" games and running a lobby the room doesn't carry over to the next map. Everyone gets kicked (except the host) and goes to new rooms and continue that cycle. There is NO team/clan support so finding the room your friends are in doesn't assure you will be on the same team and there's NO option to change that. You can carry over the room from map to map in "Player" but when that room closes your rank will be reset due to your stats not counting. "Ranked" is the mode that keeps your stats and weapons earned but its easier to play with friends on "player" so that kinda sucks! I messaged Ubi about these issues that everyone is complaining about and they said they were aware of the problem and trying to fix it ASAP! Even with these complaints I still give this title 5 out of 5 because it is that good!!! Don't believe these idiots who are giving it 1 star, they are just trying to bring down the score because they wanted another COD 4! The controls in this game are different (not button configuration but response) than COD 4 but once you adjust your gameplay it works great! Its a poor musician that blames his instrument... The map editor is absolutely brilliant and hopefully a sign of things to come! Burning fields/bushes/and other destructible objects are still as fun as the first time. I have never had the mic's cut out or seen the dreaded "Connection Interruption". For every legitimate complaint I can find I find 5 great things that are only in this title... Single player is fantastic!!! Anyone complaining about the amount of driving should learn the bus system, problem solved... The complete freedom to approach any situation ANY way you'd like is incredible and carries this single player past 30 hours easily!!! Blowing up ammo dumps sending bullets and explosives everywhere while people are reloading is sooooo much fun (multiplayer) and getting shot while hiding and trying to heal myself keep things very interesting! Multiplayer needs some lobby tweaks NO DOUBT but this title has only been out for a few weeks. Mine (and everyones) beloved COD 4 was unplayable for the first month. Give them a chance to perfect it because it would have been a shame had everyone bashed that title and gave it 1 star out of spite and nothing else..... If your still on the fence about this title then rent it and see for yourself! EXTREMELY PROGRESSIVE GAME in my opinion.

I played "Far Cry 2" over a 4 week period, mainly due to being busy, but also due to the fact that, while enjoyable to play, it didn't have that "I just gotta play it every day" feel to it. Don't get me wrong, it is an enjoyable game for the most part, but if you are not a fan of exploring, trial and error gameplay, and re-exploring (emphasis on having to backtrack constantly, nearly every mission), this game definately is not for you.

The locations are highly detailed, particularly the jungles, deserts and mountains. The character models are very detailed, as are the many different weapons you collect or buy along the way. The game has 3 Acts and each one has a cutscene or two setting up the Act, with the cutscene being pre-rendered CGI, which kind of stands out compared to the other scenes with you getting your missions, where those are real-time. The story of the game is interesting enough, but after awhile it drags on as their are constant betrayals, cliches, etc.

The sounds and music are all solid and help with the mood of the game. Voice acting is rather good as well and there are a lot of characters--so many that you will likely be confused as to what faction you are working for.

The enemy AI is very tough at times as a lot of enemies are thrown at you at one time, all with superior firepower and aim. Many of the enemy checkpoints are filled with enemies and it's usually best to just drive through as fast as you can and hope they don't jump in a jeep (which they 99.9% of the time do) and chase you. Then you have to hit "X" and take control of the large mounted gun and take 'em out. (It's fun the first few times, but with all of the backtracking, it becomes tiresome to always have enemies pop up in the same locations and you have to stop to take them out. Also, your vehicles don't take much damage before you have to repair them--yes, repair them. (I thought it was a gimmick at first, but the game developers really make you use it. My suggestion is upgrading your vehicle repair ability early on to avoid frustrating time ticking away as you have to stop and wait while you repair them.)

The controls are good, but the driving controls are a little too loose causing you to veer off paths or roads and wreck your vehicles. Also, an auto-aim would have been a nice touch, as often it is hard to target the enemies as they run around a lot.

I didn't really notice any glitches except a little slow down, which I have become used to. The save system is pretty generous and I recommend using safe houses or any save location as often as you can to keep from having to drive all the way from one side of the map to the other.

For first person shooters, it is a pretty solid game with story, graphics, controls and sound. Overall, I had a good time and it lasted for me for about 15-16hrs. which is good. Again, many missions are underwhelming or similar and there is a lot of backtracking. The side missions are more of the same and are not necessary to beat the game, only to get all of the trophies. Some might get tired of the muted colors of the terrain and locations. Had the missions been a little more interesting and there was less backtracking, I would have given it 4 stars. As it stands, it is a solid 3 star game. It's at least worth a rental or maybe $29.99 (as I have seen it at stores).

3/5 stars

Pros:

*15+ hrs. of gameplay.

*Nice graphics and sound.

*Interesting story and characters (NPC's.

*Controls are solid and intuitive for your character.

*AI is good.

*Nice selection of vehicles and weapons (most are upgradeable).

Cons:

*Missions can become redundant and involve a lot of backtracking. It's a tradeoff between length of game and repeating exploration of some of the same areas.

*There's no real boss characters and no mission is that difficult that you can't beat it on the first attempt.

*You can die cheap deaths, so save often.

*Enemy AI can be nearly super hero at times requiring far too many shots to take them down. (Also, be aware that some don't die immediately and while moaning on the ground, they will still shoot at you.)

So, first of all, I found this product and then went all around the interwebs to find some reviews. I was surprised to find that it is not all that popular, so I moved on. First I decided to go to BB and find a PS3 controller that was similar to the Xbox controller. I found one that had the same layout, so I bought it.

Here is what I bought. http://www.amazon.com/Afterglow-AP-1-Controller-PS3-Playstation-3/dp/B003IU01LC

I got it home and realized that it was smaller than the PS3 controller. FAIL! I took it back the next day. So I started doing some more research, and found this.... http://www.amazon.com/Gioteck-HF2-Bluetooth-Controller-Playstation-3/dp/B005AK858E/ref=sr_1_5?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1368109525&sr=1-5&keywords=gioteck

Now, while this is actually a pretty good controller, I still was not happy. The sticks on this controller are too........let's just call it loose. The XBOX sticks have a certain resistance to them. This controller did not have that. Also the top of the joysticks are sharp and dug into my thumbs. There was a also a noticeable delay on button presses. I call this controller, MEH!

After failing twice, I was left with two options, this Cronus adapter, and the XCM ... http://www.amazon.com/Cross-Battle-Adapter-PLAYSTATION-3-PS3/dp/B002SGG6A2/ref=sr_1_4?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1368109693&sr=1-4&keywords=xcm+cross+battle+adapter

I decided to give this one a try, even though I have read some terrible reviews. I decided to just buy it from Amazon Prime in case it was a crappy as I had read, I could return it.

I am very HAPPY to say that this product works, and I am now playing my beloved PS3, with my beloved XBOX controller. Life is Grand!!!

This is my review of the Cronus device that I used for my Xbox 360 controller on the PS3. Everything I say here can also be done with a PS3 controller on the Xbox 360.

It's simple and easy to use. Just plug in and play, no programming required.

Though you can go in and reprogram the button layouts on your computer using the USB cable that comes with this device, and even download mods to use if you like. This is useful for people who want to use the triggers(RT and LT) to fire in shooters instead of the bumpers(LB and RB) that the cronus switches to by default. And it is easy to switch between profiles, with a button on the USB device. And there is even an option to allow for remote profile switching, which allows you to push BACK + Xbox guide button, and it switches to the next profile.

You can have up to 9 custom profiles, along with the default *0* mode which just switches every button on the Xbox controller to the PS3 controller's equivalent layout(LB L1, RT R2, etc.).

I feel ZERO lag. I expected to have some lag after using the AWFUL XCM devices, but this is exceptional.

You can change the button sensitivity options.

You can invert the analog sticks from the device itself(though all games should have this option in their menus by default anyways)

And something a lot of people should be aware of, you can even make a profile have sixaxis in the analog sticks. So for games like Killzone or Resistance where you might have to shake or move your controller(since Xbox 360 controller does not have this technology), you only have to quickly switch profiles on the Cronus, move the analog stick whichever way you're supposed to, then switch right back to your preferred profile.

Now the way to get this to work on each console is different, and I'll say how.

For using the Xbox 360 controller on the PS3, you EITHER need a WIRED controller, OR if you're using a wireless controller, you need a wireless gaming receiver(should be around $20 here on amazon). This is because the Xbox 360 controller is NOT a bluetooth device like the PS3 controller.

When using the PS3 controller on the Xbox 360, you NEED a WIRED Xbox 360 controller. You must plug in the Xbox 360 controller into the console first to authenticate it, then once the controller is on, unplug it, then plug in the PS3 controller via the cronus device normally. This has to be done EVERY time you turn on your Xbox 360.

I would give this device a 9/10. It's damn near perfect. The only problem I have is I have a backwards compatible PS3 and this just does NOT work for PS2 games. I don't know why, it just doesn't register anything. It works for PS1 games, though.

Well, that's all I can think of. It feels just like I'm playing on my 360, I just have to get used to seeing the PS3 controller buttons in the games.

I bought this to so I could use my 360 controller on the PS3. After a month it worked fine but then there was an firmware update for the PS3 that disabled it. Now when I plug it in, I get a notication on the PS3 that the USB device is not recognized.

I have tried getting in touch with the developer of the device, but he is either ignoring all messages or he simply just took the money and ran.

I got this product because I just recently bought a ps3 and Ive never been a fan of the dualshock controller(especially for shooters). It is unfortunate you have to buy a wireless adapter for xbox controllers even with this but they are only about 15 dollars and I already happen to have a wired controller and that works great. My only small complaint is that with a select few games(namely the uncharted series) the controller doesnt translate with forward movement. Every thing else works great but when moving straight forward the character will slow to a crawl. With that exception it has worked marvelously with everything else, including ni no kuni which is also a PS exclusive. I have not had the chance to try it on killzone yet but it's a great product that is worth the money if you really prfer a certain controller type.

Finally a effective solution to using my Xbox controller on the PS3 AND having the ability to remap the triggers.

I've used the third party controllers that had a more Xbox ergonomic shape, or ones that had the option to swap the triggers with the bumpers. They worked, but had issues, more often then not in the dead-zone or lag areas. The XCM / HDE adapter worked and gave me turbo, but not the trigger swap (version 2 does, but at the cost of $100). And it often refused to work properly.

The Cronus just works. I'm strictly employing it on a wired Xbox controller into a PS3 (update current as of 11/21), with the bumpers and triggers remapped/swapped. Easy to setup, zero problems interfacing, no lag, Xbox controller performance & triggers where they're suppose to be.

I upgraded from my original RB1 drum set to a RB3 pro set and bought this foot pedal to be the second one on the set. It's the same as the one that normally ships with the RB3 sets and that's fine because it's awesome. This foot pedal is a huge improvement over the old RB1 foot pedal, it's easier to hold down between notes, has a great response, stays put even when just set on the ground and not attached to the base of the drum set (very important to the way I use it as a second foot pedal) and just feels much more solid than the RB1 pedal (which I broke 1 of).

I purchased this after getting the Rock Band 3 keyboard and reading in that device's manual that the kick pedal can be used to activate overdrive.

Well, that is true of the guitars, but at the moment, not so for the keyboard (firmware issue that MadCatz says they are working on).

Works great!

Honest reviews on Xbox 360/PlayStation 3/Wii Rock Band 3 Drum Pedal

The pedal arrived as described and does what it needs to do. However, I have noticed that I do have to stomp just a little harder than I would with a new pedal, and there are a few hits here and there that miss. It does not completely ruin the game though, as I was still able to 100% a song. The pedal was definitely in working condition, and I am rather pleased with the product overall. Considering how little I paid compared to a new pedal, this was definitely worth the price.
