I was really hoping that, given they had more time and improvement in tech, that they would take the opportunity to drastically improve on the first game. I'm still scatching my head wondering if the Authors of Left Behind ever sat down and played the games. Or better yet, had one of their kids sit down, play the game, and be honest with them. Its a novel idea, making a Christian themed game. Particularly using the spiritual warfare angle. And believe me, I wanted to see it done and done well! I wish this hadn't diappointed. While the opening video is good and gets your attention, the game play itself is still dull and repedative. It's like it was slightly updated and repackaged. The missions are cheesey and promote a shallow 'Christian' stereotype. I wish they'd done more consultation before repeating the same mistakes. A for initiative, Dfor execution.

I got this over a year ago at the Christian bookstore in the 75% off rack. I couldn't play it because it wouldn't install. We had our computer fixed a couple months ago, and now it works. I was really excited to give this game a try. But in my opinion, it just isn't worth the money, even if I did get it for 75% off.

The game installed just fine. I started the tutorial to learn how to play. There are 3 different tutorials. I got through the first one just fine. FYI: I am a adult. I was frustrated, but made it through the first one.

However, I only made it a short ways into the second tutorial. I got stuck where it talked about how to train your recruit as a builder. It would tell you how to move, but it wasn't at all clear where you were supposed to move the person to. Normally tutorials walk you through step by step. It usually shows you which buttons to push and exactly where to click. Not this one. For example, at one point, you were supposed to send your new recruit to a camp. I had no idea where to find the camp. I thought maybe it would be somewhere on the gameboard. So I moved in both directions. I finally realized it meant a really small button in command box. But the tutorial was no help at all in regards to which button I needed to push or where it was located. I basically had to figure it out myself. Once I got my person into the camp, a screen with a bunch of people and a bunch of scrolls came up. The tutorial said to train your person as a builder, but gave no further instruction on how to do that. I just started click on scrolls and said my person became a builder. But I couldn't tell you which scroll it was because it wasn't labeled or anything. The next step was to create a bank for your unit. I figured out how to acquire a building, but then couldn't figure out how to convert it to a bank. I figured it was another tiny little icon. I turned it into a healing station by mistake. It said that I had created the wrong type of building (which I already knew) and to sell the building. I did that. Then it just repeated the instruction to build a bank. I never figure out how to create the bank. I couldn't even find the icon. I tried figuring it out. But eventually, I just gave up. I couldn't even complete the tutorial, so I didn't even attempt the actual game. This game was a huge disappointment. I wouldn't recommend it.

Received the game and didn't have a code with it and tried to get one from the company that distributed the game. They tried to get a code but could not. They did refund the money that we paid for it. We were trying to find christian games for our kids but I guess there are none out there.

Not a good gamers game. If you know nothing about games and what makes a good game and your not allowed to play them because they are evil and your parents won't let you play any good games, then this is the game for you. Cheesy graphics, clumsy control, repetitive hollow missions all contribute to the overall mediocre feel of the game. It took christian music a long time to come out with anything good, apparently it will take christian themed games a while longer as well.

I like this game. It has some great graphics and realistic boat handling on what looks like real water. Good job on that! Some of the power boats looks great. Good job on that! You have to win races to unlock new levels and buy new boats. Good job on that! But.... the only way to win races is to launch weapons on other racers and they will launch them on you. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. All in all this game is fun if you have plenty of time. It's worth a try.

I bought the game for my 9 year old grandson. He likes flight simulator, different race games, everything about cars, plains, space ships. I decided to try boat game and he loves it. Unfortunately I didn't play it. So, my opinion only rely on his. And as I see he doesn't want to get of computer.

I didn't know how to rate this, because I haven't been able to play it on my fast computer. There's a small chance it's on my end, but it's never happened before, so I thought I'd warn you.

After configuring my character screen, it hangs with "Access violation at address 000000000. read of address 00000000" error message. I have to Ctrl+Shift+Esc to get out of it. Contacted the software "support", never got back to me.

Another thing is, I don't think it will work with a gamepad, it's keyboard only. I cannot drive and accelerate with a keyboard, but some people can.

There is no question that Mario Kart is soon set to celebrate its 20th anniversary as one of the most acclaimed video game series for the Nintendo games. It has just been a non-stop fast & furious ride for Mario, Bowser and his friends from each angle. It has been on every system since the Super NES, and it hasn't seen the plumber and his friends and foes hit the brakes into the warp pipe even once. Still, there have been so many racing games that have tries to copy it and haven't succedded, or those who have been inspired by Mario and his friends race. Well whatever the case, Mario and his friends kept on evolving in the Mairo Kart games and they have never lost their luster. Now with the high-octane and mushroom speed, it is at it again for the Nintendo 3DS, and truthfully it is worth each and every race.

Mario Kart 7 really brings in the big guns for the Nintendo 3DS, where some of the other Nintendo 3DS games, have missed their mark with the launch of the system. Hard to believe it is the 7th racing game for Mario and his friends, and this time around it has continued to evolve well by bringing in a swift mix of the new and the old. Just like Mario Kart DS and MarioKart Wii, gamers will race 32 tracks that are both new and from Mario Kart's past. The game definitely looks amazing with some new wrinkles into the game, as you have new racers and new courses too like racing in the new Music Park, where hopping on each note and insturment will help you cross the finish line, Shy Guy Bazaar, where it is a Middle Eastern flavor available, as you and your fellow racers try and cross the starting gate, while trying to glide from rooftops, and classics as well like Luigi Raceway from Mario Kart 64 and the speed and mall-madness of the Coconut Mall from Mario Kart Wii.

Aside from the mix of old and new tracks as well, there are new racers that are here to challenge Mario, Yoshi and friends including Lakitu the cloud-dwelling and spiny tossing foe, Metal Mario (as a celebration to help celebrate the 15th anniversary of Super Mario 64,) Shy Guy and Wiggler to name a few. They bring a lot of new blood into the game, as well as new elements like customizing your karts with tires and gliders which will make you soar your way back to the asphault. You also can race underwater too, which will help you find shortcuts in the game, especially in redesigned courses like Koopa Trooopa Beach and new Cheep Cheep Lagoon. There are also a few new items in the game too including the fireball power-up, the tanooki tail which will help you swat passing racers, and the new Lucky 7 that is a seven-way mix of weapons like the shells both red and green, a blooper to ink foes, banana peel and and a star for invinciblity.

The graphics in the game look amazing, as you score your way to the finish, as well as collect coins while on course to help yopu unveil extras to help customize your karts. The control is strong as well, in the classic mode, but there is one small hiccup with the new first person perspective. While the concept is good, in that mode you can race with others using the gyro sensor from the 3DS and steer your kart by swaying your racer back and forth, like the Wii Wheel was in Mario Kart Wii. That can take a bit to get used to for new racers, but for veterans they can also choose to play in the classic way as well. The sound is strong as well, by bringing in the classic scores and musical elements of the distinctive classic courses like Mushroom Gorge, but overall it is the gameplay that is fun in both single play and especially multiplayer too. The multiplayer adds extras with the Streetpass, and online gameplay like Mario Kart Wii showed, as you and 7 other racers try to race your way to the finish line.

Overall, despite one small flaw, Mario Kart 7 is definitely a fast and furious game from start to finish, and it still is just as great for many gamers more than meets the eye. If you have enjoyed the chase that Mario Kart has brought before than you'll definitely love this Nintendo 3DS game. I definitely love this thrilling racer and it shows that some game franchises have never gotten old, they just have gotten better with age. It is definitely a must buy for your Nintendo 3DS that is sure to be a treat that many racers haven't been able to show for over 2 decades across the finish line. I absolutely recommend Mario Kart 7 from start to finish.

Here's another must-own for the 3DS, plus it's my most played on the handheld. Just like how I got Super Mario 3D Land, I got Mario Kart 7 the day it came out. If you love Mario Kart or if you're new to the series, this game is especially a must!

Just like the other Mario Kart games since Mario Kart DS, you can play this game on your own, with nearby people provided that they have 3DS's, or play online. I dig the fact that you can be able to customize your kart, as well as the ability to glide and drive underwater! I would also like to thank Nintendo for getting rid of the thunder cloud that plagued Mario Kart Wii, that thing was just really annoying... you also won't be able to see any fake power-up blocks either, yay! Instead, you'll see new power-ups which are the fire flower, the raccoon tail, and the lucky 7 (I only use that to use the star lol). But still, be prepared to get attacked by those too, that includes blue spiny shells, bullet bills, and bloopers! And each time you get a lot of coins, you'll be able to unlock kart parts. You will also be able to unlock hidden characters, as well as a 3-star rank when you do awesome in the grand prix mode.

The best part of Mario Kart 7 is the game's online mode. You are able to play in worldwide matches much like in Mario Kart Wii, but with an improved VR system that doesn't decrease by a lot for no reason! The only way to lose your VR is when you get last place, and you only lose 3 VR when that happens, which isn't much at all that is much more fair than Mario Kart Wii's online! You are also able to race in communities and find people/friends you previously raced. There is also the Mario Kart Channel where it updates the time trial ghosts and the community list. The game also keeps track of your wins, losses, coins collected, etc. Plus you'll still be able to unlock remaining kart parts while you collect coins in the online mode too!

The only cons I have are the mii's voices, no actual way to ban whichever items you want while you make a community, not having the ability to create your own messages when you're in a community, and Toadette not being in the roster (I miss her!!!). Overall, the game is definitely chaotic, but you'll keep coming back for more action. Right next to Mario Kart Double Dash, this is my favorite entry in the Mario Kart series. Go get it right now!

Final Score 9/10 Awesome

Every time Nintendo releases a new game you can always bet on them bringing over their core franchises. The one that seems to ruffle the most feathers and delight the most is always Mario Kart. The gameplay is often fun, simple and it's easy for just about anyone to pick up. It's also a series that has what can be considered a tried and true formula. Mario Kart has retained its familiar formula for two decades now and it's not going to stop here. If you've liked Mario Kart previously there's no reason not to really give the game a try.

As you'd expect, Mario Kart 7 is pretty easy to slip into. There are 32 courses in total and at least 16 of them are retro courses drawn from other Mario Kart releases. Most of them are pretty well designed, and those who love the older courses will be pleased to find some of the classics here. Some of them have changes to compliment some of Mario Kart 7's new mechanics. Each race has eight racers. There are also a ton of items to find and use as you race.

If there's one thing Mario Kart has always been criticized for and praised for it's the different assortment of items. Some familiar items that have been in Mario Kart forever return such as the mushrooms, stars and bananas. Some of the more recent items return as well such as the bullet bill. There are three new power ups to behold in Mario Kart 7. The first is the fire flower which will let your hurl fireballs at your opponents for a certain amount of time. There is also the Tanooki Leaf that gives you the Tanooki Tail to whack your enemies and finally there's the Lucky 7 which gives you seven power ups at once that you can use. Of the three new items the Lucky 7 is the most amusing of the batch. The fire flower seems as though it should've been a part of Mario Kart all along. The Tanooki Tail, however, is by far the least amusing of the new items here.

There is some degree of luck when it comes to winning, but there's more of a feeling that you're in control than the Wii variation where you could easily be bombarded with several items at once just seconds before the finish line. Here, that isn't likely to happen. You'll still find yourself hit by an item, but you won't find yourself bombarded too often in such a short period of time. The balancing here is better to the point that there is still a little luck, but your skill is actually important here as well.

There has been a lot made about the new addition to the vehicles. The glider and the propeller. One allows you to fly while the other allows you to traverse the water. For the most part, these additions don't really add much to the experience. It's amusing the first couple of times you do them, but you'll feel much more at home with your wheels planted firmly on the ground. They're not entirely useless. Gliding can, for example, give you an edge in some races. It's going underwater that more or less feels no different from being on the surface. So while they're certainly welcome additions, it doesn't really do a whole lot to enhance the experience.

You'll more or less experience much of what Mario Kart 7 has to offer within a couple of hours. Certainly there are 32 courses but you'll breeze through all of them rather quickly. You'll also unlock drivers and a mirror mode and different parts to your Kart. If anything the multiplayer is what is more likely to keep you coming back to Mario Kart 7. You can play locally with friends or online and both actually work out just fine. You can also get into coin battles and the balloon battles, which is pretty standard for Mario Kart now (and also much more fun with friends). There's also a Mario Kart channel just like there is for the Wii.

Visually, Mario Kart 7 is by far the best looking game the 3DS has at this point. There's a lot of detail put into it and it just looks smooth. The 3D also works out rather well, but chances are you won't actually need it to enjoy the game. It really gives players a sense of what's around the corner for the 3DS.

The only thing that really keeps Mario Kart 7 down is that it really isn't any different from the previous Mario Kart. Things have been slightly reworked and tweaked but there isn't much offered here that other Mario Kart games aren't already going to provide for you. The new courses are great but usually that's all you get. Aside from that, the experience of Mario Kart 7 isn't really all that different from the previous ones. It's not necessarily a bad thing. It means those who've loved Mario Kart don't have much reason not to try it. It makes for a decent game, but it sometimes walks a fine line between improving the series and becoming stale. Regardless, the game is still good on its own and worth a look.

Honest reviews on Mario Kart 7

I bought this game today from a local retailer. at the time of writing, I've played for about 4 hours.

The game is very good, but it could have been better.

It is a Mario Kart game and it delivers as expected. If you're a fan of the series or just a 3DS owner, then this is a must-own title.

First the bad:

I was really excited for a 1st person "cockpit" view. I tried it, but it isn't good. This could have been good, but unfortunately the problem here has more to do with the 3DS itself. With the game in 3D mode, it isn't practical to tilt the 3DS to steer, unless you turn your head with the 3DS. You'll get a sore neck or just look stupid doing it. For anyone with experience with the 3DS knows that tilting the display ruins the 3DS affect, at least until you can readjust your eyes.

Next is the analog steering controls. I do not feel "locked in" while using this control. The analog control feels somewhat detached from the Kart's steering. Overtime a person will get used to it. That's all I can really say. Steering is not possible with the D-Pad, which is unfortunate. I would have liked to have had a choice, especially considered how bad the analog steering feels.

Historically, Mario Kart games have always been bigger and have included more content than their predecessors. Mario Kart 7 does away with at least 8 characters who were in Mario Kart Wii. There are fewer drivers to choose from in this game.

The good:

Despite the fact the there are fewer drivers to choose from in this game, the Nintendo makes up for it by adding some new features. There is a lot more variety in the form of kart options. As you progress, you unlock various mods for your kart. Some mods include different body styles for your kart, tire options, and wing options (for gliding). All mods do affect overall performance of the kart.

New powerups!-there are 3. The feather grants you Raccoon Mario's tail, used to whip opponents or incoming projectiles. The flower that allows you to shoot fireballs. Lucky 7 which surrounds you with 7 different powered (similar to the triple shells), all of which can be used. The Lucky 7 powerup is by far the rarest. In 4 hours of playtime, I received the Lucky 7 just once.

Where I'm neutral:

I saw the trailers for this game and I was really excited to see the new gliding and underwater features. While they look "new and innovative" in terms of gameplay, the reality is they're a bit underwhelming. Driving underwater feels exactly like driving on the road. The difference: in one mode your kart has a propeller on the back of it.

Gliding is fun, and there are some skills to learn to have an advantage on the track-for example, using the glider to create shortcuts to leap several positions in the race.

The Verdict:

I'm giving this game a 4 instead of 5 because it isn't as perfect or polished as MArio Kart titles have been in the past. There should have been the same amount of content or more content as in the previous installment. The game is almost unplayable using "tilt" controls while in 3D mode. New features like underwater mode didn't feel innovative.

The Ion works great! My friend owns one and I decided to purchase one for myself. In my own opinion, if you are buying the Ion, buy the Ion drum rocker core that does not come with the cymbals. The original Ion cymbals are not worth the extra $100. But the Core drum kit, and order diffrent cymbals, there are tons available online.

This set is really nice. It doesn't drop any notes as long as you hit the pads with reasonable force. Reasonable force being not a light tap. Like you've heard from other reviews, the pedal is crap. I was like you. I thought I'd be easy on it and not break it like everyone else, but I did. So really, for a set that'll last, you're looking at the cost of this plus $100 or so for the rock pedal which I'm on my way to buying. I still recommend this set because if you don't consider the pedal, it's a fantastic piece of equipment.

This kit responds very well, provides good bounce, and is pretty quiet when struck. It's not perfect, though: it can't be raised nearly as tall as the Rock Band stock kit, the pedal just feels a little off (it still works fine, though), and the pads don't respond to very light touches. With my play style, this has been a bit of a problem, but I've adjusted. But overall, they work very well, and if you're a Rock Band addict like me, most likely worth it.

My son loves this drum set for his Xbox 360!

He had one major problem with the kick pedal. It is solid and sturdy, but the piece that hits the receiver fell off in only a couple of days. He tried to re-attached it with super glue, but it didn't hold and fell off again the same day. I am sending it back for a replacement. I am really hoping that the next one doesn't have the same defect.

The Ion Drum Rocker Core is an all around excellent product, the instructions can be a little plain and confusing, but I had not too much trouble putting this together in under an hour.

One problem with the kit overall is the kick pedal, for the most part it is solid and sturdy, but the piece that hits the receiver to signify a kick is very flimsy. Mine fell off in under a week (about 30-40 songs). I am hoping it can be easily reattached w/ super glue or will be replaced by the company.

Even with that small hiccup this kit is highly recommended for any hardcore Rock Band fan.

Introduction:

Masters of the Universe is one of the best action-adventure games I have played in a long time. The stylish graphics and wonderful gameplay provide many hours of heart felt enjoyment.

Gameplay:

Masters of the Universe has all the gameplay you expect from action-adventure games. Packed with tons of enemies, bosses, power-ups, and a huge sword.

The game enemies are anything from slugs to spiders to giant beasts. Then there are the bosses. There is a boss at the end of almost every level. Each boss has different weapons and abilities and each level the boss gets tougher (obviously!). These levels consist of riding on the back of 4-legged animals through a course. As you move throughout the course there are obstacles to jump over and move around. You also must collect different items on your way. I found these levels to be the most fun of all.

Graphics:

One thing I did like about the graphics was when you your character move's behind objects, the object whatever it be turns semi-transparent so you can see the character behind it. This helps a lot when playing levels when it is imperative to hide behind objects.

Lifespan:

Masters of the Universe has a very long lifespan. Not only does the game last a long time, it is very fun to go play missions over again. I can't get enough of some missions and I go back and play them all the time. This game is definitely great if you want a game that lasts a long time.

Closing Comments:

If you're looking for a good game in the genre I highly suggest this one. While it may have it's flaws it is one great game.

This game is much better than I thought it would be! I just got the game on the first day it came out, and even though I haven't beaten it yet, the graphics, gameplay, music, the whole shibang is above the rim! The chracters are amazingly detailed, and the levels are also detailed, but small. Clawful, the first boss, is a little hard for me to beat right now, but I will eventually find a way. This game has gone above my expectations and is a game no Masters of the Universe fan should be without!

Honest reviews on Masters of the Universe: He-Man: Power of Greyskull

I bought this game because I'm a fan of He-Man. I didn't expect much from it, and I got even less.

Let's start with the graphics:

The in-game graphics are computer models made into sprites, meant to give a 3D look. It looks like they set the lighting way too high though, since some of the sprites have large areas of white. It's hard to even tell what some of them are a lot of the time. If there's anything good I can say about the graphics, it's that they did make use of artwork from the cartoon in menus, character portraits, etc.

Sound and music:

The music is pretty forgettable. The sound is repetitive and slightly annoying. Hey, at least they got Cam Clarke's voice for the opening though. "I have the power!"

Gameplay:

I could look past everything else if the game was fun. It isn't. At all. It's annoying. You wander around the levels, finding one thing to open something else, collecting crystals and moving from one island to another, the isometric view making jumps difficult to gauge. All the while you're being attacked by hordes of uninteresting monsters, almost none of them coming from the show.

That would be okay too, but for some reason it takes the strongest man in the universe several strikes with his magic sword to kill the simplest monster or robot. That wouldn't be too bad either, if it wasn't so slow. Oh, but you can charge up your attack to deal a more powerful blow. Oh right, that's even slower, so you have to run away from everything while you're charging it, and it's still not enough to kill most things in one hit.

Oh, and if the game wasn't slow and annoying enough to begin with? Don't worry, a lot of monsters can poison you, making you move even slower while they pick away at your life. Fun, right?

There's a bonus level or two that breaks up the monotony and frustration of the regular levels, where you ride on Battlecat through an autoscrolling field collecting crystals, jumping over obstacles and shooting monsters. It's a nice change of pace at least.

Conclusion:

This game is a textbook example of licensed shovelware. It looks bad and it plays worse. Avoid it unless you just plan to display it next to your He-Man figures and never play it.

It's a combination that does not seem like it should work, but puzzle game play as a combat system for a RPG makes for a very entertaining game if you like puzzle games like Bejeweled. Puzzle Quest [Download] is the pioneer of this kind of RPG puzzle game (as far as I know) and a hallmark title that you should play. Clash of Heroes has a very similar feel but the puzzle gameplay is slightly more complex than a "match 3" game. You still match rows and columns of pieces, but instead of swapping or rotating them in a grid you slide them in and out of columns. Matching 3 or more in a row creates a wall (defensive structure) while matching 3 in a column creates an attack formation. At its core it is that simple, but there are advanced elements that enhance the gameplay: linking like-colored formations together to enhance their power, forming multiple walls/formations in a single move to gain additional moves, and so on.

You command 5 different heroes, each with his/her own special power and unique set of creatures to command. The game is paced quite well. Higher strength creatures are meted out over the course of each character's story arc, giving you something to look forward to as you progress. You switch between characters throughout the campaign, which keeps things fresh. I have not played any of the multiplayer games, but the single player campaign is very entertaining.

Clash of Heroes is an great casual game that you can play in short 15 minutes intervals, or for extended sessions. It was originally designed for the Nintendo DS and it shows in how the user interface is designed, but it plays just fine on the PC using a mouse. I highly recommend it if you like puzzle games. The addition of role-playing elements adds a fun purpose to the puzzle gameplay and provides a rewarding story arc that gives you a sense of accomplishment.

This is a decently fun puzzle game and offers a good challenge (at least for me). I got hooked on RPG-esq puzzle games with Puzzle Quest and am now a sucker for picking up any I see.

The gameplay is completely turn-based, and with no time limit so you are free to think out your moves with all the time you need. That doesn't mean it is easy though, I often feel like the AI has the deck stacked in their favor.

It's mostly a 'match three' type game; however you cannot 'swap' pieces to make matches like you do in games like Bejeweled. A vertical match of 3 will attack your opponent, while a horizontal match of 3 will form a wall that can block some or all of your opponent's attacks. So how do you form matches without being able to `swap' pieces? You can grab the last piece on any column, and move it to a different column. This uses up one of your 3 moves per turn. The other option is you can remove any single piece from the board, no matter where it is. So if in a column you had blue, green, blue, and blue you could remove the green to form a match of 3 blues. If when you remove a piece a match forms, it does not use a move. If you remove a piece and no match forms, it consumes one of your three moves per turn. If you create multiple matches you will get bonus moves. You get a set number of pieces per game, and you can spend a move to replace any pieces you have used previously, this replenishes your side of the board with new pieces to make more matches. This continues until you deal enough damage to your opponent.

There are some additional factors to the game like elite and champion units, but that's the gist of it. As I've mentioned earlier, I find the AI tends to get pretty stacked odds, or I'm just not lucky. I often find the AI getting to start each combat with several opportunities to delete a unit and create a match, which often results in them getting several free moves during their turn and they can easily create 3 or more matches right at the start. That aside, the game is still winnable and keeps a challenge to the player by limiting the amount you can `level up' and not offering any kind of difficulty setting (it is what it is).

There is a main storyline that's pretty mediocre and not at all good, but none of these games tend to have a good story so that's par for the course I guess. There are side quests and mini-games however that give you something a bit extra to do if you wish.

The game does feature multiplayer, but I haven't touched it. I play all my games single player.

Dragonball z Budokai is one of the best Dragonball z games ever released. You can choose up to 23 great warriors like Goku, Vegeta, and many others. There are a great deal of unlockable characters. The best part about this game is that you can edit skills in the Edit Skills section. If you are a Dragonball Z fan, then you will love this game. The story follows the anime series very accurately.

The hardest thing abouut the game, though, is the Tournament Mode. Basically, the only way to win is to knock the person out of the ring. As you progress through the tournament, it will get very difficult. for me it took me five long days just to beat the tournament mode, and when you get to the end, you get a bonus character,(I am not telling who the character is.)

I wished they could have put more detail on the game, for example, adding the Majin Buu Saga, but I guess I can see why they Infogrames did not put that part in because the saga is not done on Cartoon Network.

Overall, I think the game is a great game. If you are a Hardcore DBZ fan like me, then you should go out and get it. Maybe the developers will make a part two of this game, at least I hope so.

Best Deals for Dragon Ball Z: Budokai

Dragonball Z: Budokai closely follows the story line from Dragon Ball Z. It begins with the Saiyan saga and finishes with the Cell saga.

Graphics: 5/5.

The graphics are really good in this game. While they aren't "great" compared to other games such as Final Fantasy, you have to keep in mind that the characters are meant to have an anime look.

Gameplay: 4/5

If you have play Final Bout, you shouldn't worry, because the gameplay has vastly improved in Budokai. The controls are easy to learn, and all of the moves are simple to pull off.

Story: 5/5

Quite simply, if you enjoy Dragon Ball Z, than you will enjoy the story line. Its the same thing!

Sound: 5/5

The sound in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai is nothing shorter than amazing. While duking it out with your favorite villian, you can listen to the music of the actual fight from the TV show. The game uses the actual voices from the TV show for an extra touch of realism.

Summary:

While Dragon Ball Z: Budokai is a fun game, it does have some flaws. One of them is tournament mode. The computer is really, really cheap. If you play tournament mode, expect to get angry once and a while. Another thing is that most of the projectiles need to be used at close range. For example, to use Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon, you to kick your opponent in a certain way. You will kick them in the air and hit them to the ground. You then shoot it it at them. So if you are expecting something like you would find in Street Fighter, than this game is not for you. Another downside is you cannot jump, or duck, or even fly when you want to. The makes game play a lot more difficult. However, there are some very interesting things about Budokai that seperate it from the rest. Their is a unique character customization in which you can create the ultimate character. Basically, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai is a good game if you are a Dragon Ball fan. If you just want to buy a good fighting game, then look somewhere else. You won't find it in this game.

PROS:

+ Good game play.

+ Easy super moves.

+ Great graphics and sound.

+ Customization of allows your to create the ulimate character.

+ Burst mode

CONS:

The tournament mode tends to be a little cheap.

Almost all projectiles need to be used at close range. (ie. Special Beam Cannon, Kamehameha, etc.)

Good for Dragon Ball fans, bad for fighting game fans.

You cannot jump or duck.

You cannot fly whenever you want.

Honest reviews on Dragon Ball Z: Budokai

Ok,Lets get started. This game is pretty good for a DBZ game. If you just looking for a good fighter I suggest elsewhere.

There is basicly 7 modes Story, practice,WorldTourny,Duel mode,Hercule,Editer, and options. On story mode its pretty basic. Youre first time around you play as Sayiana and unlock a couple of characters. Youll fnd it dissoted if youre not fammiler with DBZ. Fans will know obviously though. You go there Android,Namek and Satyian in story mode.It goes through Raditz to cell. With small cinemas. Practice is as it suggests.World Tournement is to earn oney and buy capsules wich I will explain later. Its Adebt Novice and Adavanced. Advanced is basicly SUPER hard. When you beat adept and advance you can buy Hercule and Great Sayiaman.Duel is just a 2 player mode or you pick who you wanna fight.Hercule is a survivor mde as you play with Hercule through wonderfull matches. Editor is my favorite option alowwing you to cutomize a Zwarrior.

Graphics is so so not bad but not good. For PS2 it could have been better. Characters are good 3-d shaded. Sound has ok music and orginal AMERICANN voices.

Capsules is basiclly moves you get. Without capsules you cant do anything. But you can easily get them by beating story 3 times and get tons. If you wish with the Dragon Balls three characters geta special ability Breakthrough wich gives you more capsules. The biggest thing I disliked is. Youre grounded! No jumping not ducking. To fly you half to get hit!No powr struggles etc. On the good side you can knock people into wall, cliffs, moutaines etc. Fighting is too easy. p,p,p, g is basicly everyones Kamehameha realated move.

Bad

Graphics ar soo

Backrounds are bland

Character moves are exactly the same

Simple fighting

Good

DBZ

Fastpaced

Stages change with a strong punch.(Into a mountaine. Then fight on a mountaine)

Orginal Hyper battle

All in all If you dont like DBZ rent it. If youre a fan the score would go up a star. DBZ fails and succesfull in many ways.

This game is really cool. I liked it alot!" I got it a few months ago and I was impressed. It features some of the greatest moves from the show, such as: Special Beam Cannon, Kamehameha, Spirit Bomb, Galick Gun, etc. The gameplay is great and I like the fighting action as well. However, that's just the good stuff. What really pisses me off is that doing major combo moves like Burning Attack, Spirit Bomb, etc. is that it gets really frustrating when you try to do the move but it never shows until you do it the 10th time! Also, the story line stops at the end of the Cell games Saga!! Can you belive it? No Majin Buu, no Dabura, no S.S.2 or S.S.3 Goku and no Goten and Chibi Trunks!!'' However the game is pretty good overall, and it's much better than Final Bout for sure. Tournament mode is not bad either. But let me give you a tip; it's really important that you learn how to sidestep before you go and try to beat tournament. Trust me, the most difficult thing to beat in this game is tournament mode if you don't know how to sidestep because if you get near the edge of the tournament ring, you're opponent will have an 85 percent chance of knocking you out of the ring if you don't know how move away from the edge. there's types of tournaments in tournament mode: Novice, Adept, and Advanced. If you win Novice, you get 10,000 Zenie. If you win Adept, you get 30,000 Zenie along with Hercule. If you beat Advanced, you 50,000 Zenie along with Great Saiyaman. Now how can they have Great Saiyaman in this game but not have the Great Saiyaman Saga or Babidi Saga in Story Mode?" Anyway, the money earned from winning tournaments is really important since you need it to buy skills from Mr.Popo's Skill Shop. I've already gotten all the characters. There are 23 playable characters in total: Goku, Kid Gohan(Gohan from the Saiyan-Frieza Saga), Teen Gohan(Gohan from Cell Games Saga), Great Saiyaman, Vegeta, Future Trunks, Cell, Android #19, Android #18, Android #17, Android #16, Recoome, Ginyu, Frieza, Hercule, Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, Zarbon, Dodoria, Piccolo, Nappa, and Raditz. Overall, this game is awesome!! As a hardcore DBZ fan, I would give this game 3 stars since it didn't have the Buu Saga story line. But as a video gamer, I would give this game 4 and a half stars since the gameplay, and music is great. You should get this game regardless of it's ... storyline.

I'm going to get this out of the way first: Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is an excellent game. The character roster is expanded, the fighting engine is fine tuned to achieve a better balance, and online play is enhanced significantly from the previous incarnation. If you have friends at your palce often (or even if you don't, since you can play online), Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is a great game to occupy yourself with. Finding the perfect three-combatant team and using their abilities to complement each other is, as always, very rewarding and fun. My personal team is Phoenix Wright/Frank West/Deadpool for laughs, and Zero/X-23/Strider Hiryu for actual rounds as you can see I used quite a few of the new characters, so they're definitely not just filler characters as some might say.

That being said, let's get to the obvious elephant in the room. This game comes just half a year after the original Marvel vs Capcom 3. Those who bought the original game (or, heaven forbid, the collector's edition) are now in possession of a useless copy less than a year after buying it. This is the latest in a long line of problematic business decisions by Capcom, who have by-and-large really dialed it in in regards to their game releases; recent games have been carbon copies and blatant cash grabs in an attempt to make as much money as fast as possible.

Though 12 characters larger, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is no different while other companies fix their fighting games through patches and downloadable characters (see: Mortal Kombat), Capcom has returned to its Street Fighter 2 days by rereleasing slightly updated versions of the same fighting game over and over (we're already seeing this in Street Fighter IV) something that actually led to the devastation of its fighting game franchises years back. Back when game systems had virtually no internet connections and games came on cartridges, this was defensible if not acceptable; now, with modernized game system constantly linking to the web, it's completely unacceptable.

On its own merits, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is a five-star game. A great lineup, a fun fighting system, and literally hundreds of hours worth of gameplay as a result of arcade, mission modes, and online features makes it one of the best fighters in recent years. Unfortunately, given Capcom's track record, I have no choice but to dock it one star for being an update that could've been relegated to DLC, and another star for coming out less than a year after the last game, making many players' previous investments worthless. Even at the $40 price point, it's still ever so slightly insulting. Still, I'd recommend a purchase if you, like me, didn't get the original upon release, or even if you did, because the new characters are honestly really great.

If you're still on the fence about this game either because you disapprove of Capcom's practices or because you bought MvC3 back in March, but still want to try out the new characters and enhanced online I say just bite the bullet and grab this game. However, once you do, send an email, snail mail, or message to Capcom's Twitter telling them that you disapprove of this kind of business practice and that they will lose you as a customer if they continue in this manner; you have a voice, use it!

As the title speaks for itself if you have bought yourself a copy of regular marvel vs capcom 3 you don't really need this unless you really would like the 12 characters that are added.

Much like it's predecessors the characters require much time and discipline to understand and master so if you have the patience & time then this game is for you. The gameplay is very fast paced, and requires much knowledge of being able to read your opponents and being able to respond to what they may throw at you....Whether it is spamming from a far with lances (Arthur from Ghouls n' Goblins), or people comboing the living daylights out of you in a corner.

There are 3 modes included with UMVC3:

*Offline Mode: Here have you your basic Arcade, Training, Versus, and Mission mode (mission mode containing a staggering 480 combos to learn and do) at the final stage of arcade you have much to look forward to in battling Galactus and his Heralds (minions). *sidenote* there are 6 stages before the Galactus battle.

*Xbox Live: Here is where your skills will be put to the test where you can look for player matches or ranked matches, much time will be invested in training before you can plan on competing in this mode not to discourage anyone from buying this game.

*Heroes & Heralds Mode: In this mode you have 3 decks (A,B,C) each deck contains 3 slots for a card, each card has a perk that will aid you in battle where you can pick a main card for extra effects, as the name implies you pick either the heroes or heralds where you can save the earth, or takeover the earth. Each side has particular cards exclusive to each side.

Graphics:

* Nothing has changed from MVC3:FO2W, so don't look to this for improvements on graphics if it was one of your gripes about the latest installments, the style and texture of the graphics are completely appropriate for the gameplay being presented here.

Characters:

*With the original 36 characters in place UMVC3 adds 6 Marvel characters & 6 Capcom characters:

on the Marvel side you have: Ghost Rider, Doctor Strange, Rocket Raccoon, Hawkeye, Ironfist & Nova.

on the Capcom side you have: Firebrand, Frank West, Nemesis, Vergil, Phoenix Wright, & Strider Hiryu(for those that loved Strider in MVC2 you might still love Strider here)

In all the game is extremely fun and as mentioned is very fast paced UMVC3 piqued my interest and has instilled much adrenaline during each battle, it is that intense. Although I definitely don't recommend this game to those that aren't that great at fighting games and have a super competitive ego, to those people you have been warned.

*EDIT* One thing I did fail to mention as it was not an issue for me, was the lag while playing online you have little to no lag, and even before proceeding with a battle you have the opportunity to screen your opponent's connection and decide whether or not you still want to battle said opponent.

Best Deals for Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 - Xbox 360

More characters, more balanced gameplay. The online matches now have spectator mode. My only complaint is that all these features should have been present in MvC3 but hey, better late than never. Bare in mind that YOU MUST PLAY WITH SOMEONE ON YOUR SAME OR SIMILAR SKILL LEVEL or practice against the computer. Marvel is not like so many other games where a new player has a fighting chance if he button mashes or tries really hard. Spending time with this game and learning the nuances of each team really pays off. So if youre new and you jump into online matches, you will probably end up whining and crying like the little b****es that gave this game 1 star. There are NO 1 minute combos. Just sit back with some friends, and prepare to have a blast : )

Honest reviews on Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 - Xbox 360

This game is amazing! The new characters, stages, and gameplay tweaks are well worth the price. To be honest it feels like a brand new game. It actually is starting to have that mvc2 feel to it again, but with a more up to date improvements such as graphics and gameplay mechanisms. Like any capcom fighter you have to put the time in to get good,so don't expect to just be lights out right away. If they bring back more mvc 2 veterans and add some new fighters, this may be one of the best fighters ever.

Another great PvP fighting game from Capcom! This game is essentially a more robust re-release of the Marvel VS Capcom 3 game, so if you already have a copy of that game, you don't really need this one. The only real difference to this game is the inclusion of more playable characters.

If you are not familiar with Capcom fighting games, you may be a bit surprised, at first, as to how fast-paced this game is. It is possibly the fastest-paced game I have ever played. Each character has their own signature moves and combos that must be executed perfectly and at just the right time to maximize their effectiveness. Due to the high amount of skill needed to pull off these moves, some players may find it frustrating at first. They will most DEFINITELY find it frustrating if they jump into the fray against a skilled opponent. Seeing an opponent give your character a smack-down with a 50+ hit combo that nearly vanquishes them in one assault will be more than a little intimidating and humbling. This is a game that really takes some invested time to master, and Capcom HAS included the option to play a "Simple" mode, that will allow most players to pull off some devastating moves without fully learning the controls and the nuances of the game. Once players get the hang of the game play and learn the strengths and weaknesses of each character, the game becomes much more fun to play. This is a game where there can be tremendous swings in advantage within mere moments. At one moment it could like like you're getting blown out and the next moment you could be on top. This adds to the fun of the game for me. I don't like games that are too easy or require no skill to play.

This game has three modes of play:

1) Offline Mode: Just as it sounds, this is where you play against the computer (Arcade), play against a friend (Versus), play through an advancing story line (Mission), or learn the moves of your character in practice sessions (Training).

2) Xbox Live: Once you feel as if you have an adequate grasp of the game (or have friends who are not-so-skilled that you feel like schooling, you can use this mode to go online and play against others.

3) Heroes & Heralds Mode: This mode of play was not included in the actual release, but was a part of a free download from the company to expand playing options. In this mode you have 3 decks (A,B,C) each deck contains 3 slots for a card. Each card has a buff that will aid you in your fights by boosting a stat or giving your character the ability to do something it would not normally be able to do. You can choose to be a Herald of Galactus or a Hero of Earth and you collect cards to build up your deck as you win battles. Each side has particular cards exclusive to each side.

In this game you have a variety of villains or heroes from each respective universe that you can choose to play as/against. (In a fight, you choose three characters for you "team" and you will fight against three opponent characters. You don't have to choose all characters from one specific universe, but can mix and match at will.) With the addition of 12 new playable characters compared to the original MVC3, there are a whopping 48 characters to choose from. The complete character roster is listed below, by side:

MARVEL:

New since MVC3: Ghost Rider, Doctor Strange, Rocket Raccoon, Hawkeye, Ironfist & Nova.

Previously released: Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man,Storm, Wolverine, Deadpool, Magneto, Iron Man, Doctor Doom, Dormammu, Super Skrull,M.O.D.O.K., Phoenix, X-23, Hulk, She-Hulk, Taskmaster, Sentinel.

CAPCOM:

New since MVC3: Firebrand, Frank West, Nemesis, Vergil, Phoenix Wright, & Strider Hiryu

Previously released: Ryu, Chun-Li, Dante, Trish, Crimson Viper, Viewtiful Joe, Spencer, Amaterash, Chris, Wesker, Zero, Tron, Morrigan, Felicia, Haggar, Arthur, Akuma, Hsien-Ko.

As you can see, there is an incredible diversity of characters, here. While there are a few characters that are conspicuously absent (such as Megaman from Capcom and Green Goblin or Venom from Marvel), the appearance of several characters that have never been included in a video games before was really nice to see. Each character has several alternate costumes that can also be chosen. Some of them are comic accurate and some aren't, but it's a nice little touch to add a bit more diversity to the game. I would suspect that there will be a fair amount of Marvel comics fans who will purchase this game based solely on their love of these characters. In fact, I'd say it will be a safe bet that the majority of people purchasing this game will be comic fans.

This game is a lot of fun to play, and any fans of fighting games are sure to love it. In my opinion, this is one game that is a MUST BUY title for the Xbox 360.

This game has a Teen rating due to cartoon fighting violence, a few instances of profanity (mostly from the character Deadpool), and some skimpy costumes worn by a few of the female characters (Felicia & Morrigan). I would personally say that a "T" rating is the proper rating for this game.

...

I do own both these game and have played them extensively and let me put down what I think I like about both games so that it could help you decide which one to buy. Personally, I would recommend buying both :

First let me start off my saying both are excellent games but both are truly 2 different games. For those of you who are use to madden, dont think you can jump right in and play nfl2k3, and vice versa, both play completely different.

Madden2003:

-----------

This game is more for the casual football player. Madden is very polished and has options galore. If your into stat tracking, Madden is the game for you then. This game is very deep in all areas which will appeal to many people. It is truly the game for the person who just wants to pick up and play and not really have to think football. It is more of a family game in some aspects because of it's simplicty.

Plus':

-----

Graphics : Very good graphics, player models are done uniquely and stadiums are dead on perfect in this game. Also nice touches to the field textures and postplay animations. The game is very polished graphically, it really looks like a masterpiece.

Gameplay : very easy to pick up gameplay. Momentum based physics adds a lot to this game where it keeps the game realistic in terms of how players get hit and how they respond to tackles. This is truly more of an offensive minded game and that equates to more fun for some. Stat tracking is the best bar none in madden and the options can't be matched in any other game.

Sound : The football sounds and extra sounds are done very well in this game. Al Micheals and John Madden give the game a professional feel when annoucing althougth sometimes they get reptitive.

Minus'

-----

The only drawback in this game would be that the game is more cpu based than user based. So you can do everything right but if the cpu decides that it wants to complete a pass this down, well , it'll complete a pass that down. Sometimes the game may feel a bit too scripted.

---------------------------------------------------------------

NFL2K3

-------

This game is truly for the football minded technician or football minded coach. In this game, you have to know how to read the defensive formations, the kind of offensive plays you run, and the kind of players/teams you control. The best word I can use to describe this game is INTENSITY, because it is truly like you are playing an NFL game. This game is more of a user based game, so everything is up to the player rather than the computer to succeed. It's like putting your football mind into each player you control.

Plus':

GRAPHICS : Excellent player models and stadiums. Uses the ESPN license so it's based off of SPORTSCENTER and ESPN telecast, very profesional tv style look to it. Excellent Animations. Excellent player faces.

GAMEPLAY : More user based than cpu based. You must know football to win at this game. It's more of a head coaches game controlling the players which adds intensity and sense of professionalism to it. Passing and running the ball must be done correctly or you will eat turf. Defense is incredibly protrayed in this game where user can control any aspect of the defender. Gameplay wise this is more of a Defensive minded game.

Sounds : Top Notch second to none. The annoucers in this series have always been excellent and you really like to listen to them. Football sounds are done well too and crowd variance is teriffic.

Minus':

Only drawback for some could be that the learning curve for this game is very high. Don't expect to get this game and figure it out in a few minutes. You can't just mash buttons together and expect to win. It is truly for the football fanatic.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Well I hope this helps. Again, I would recommend buying both games since they play so different. I would compare these to games to say buying either a BMW or a MERCEDES. Both are great cars but have their own unqiue qualities to them that make them great rides. Enjoy!

Being a die-hard Madden series gamer, I must put in my two cents, and hopefully get this game into the hands of one more Madden fan.

I have played Madden since the early days of its creation. To this day, I haven't found a better simulation of the NFL and its players. You see, if you are truly an NFL fan, then Madden 2003 is the game for you without a doubt. Simulation. That point can't be stressed enough. Most people argue that the game has nothing "new" or it hasn't changed the style of the game. However they couldn't be more wrong. That's why the game is so great, they know how to do what they do, and they do it the best. Madden doesn't have to add new things each year, they simply improve on last year's edition. Being a true Madden and NFL fan, I enjoy more than anything improvements on small details. This is what I can't wait for in this newest edition...

*Mini-camp to see who really deserves to start and who should be cut.

*More options when creating a team; more colors, improved originality in designs, an extensive gallery of logos.

*Online play

*An even better system for passing...more accurate lobs/bullets.

*An engine that runs a little faster adjusting it more towards reality...last years was a little slow with player reactions/movements.

You simply cannot re-invent football, it is what it is. You can only improve how close to real it is each year. There is a reason this happens to be a number-one seller year after year. Give it a shot, you just may find it addicting. Have fun!

Best Deals for Madden NFL 2003

What's not to like about Madden? Well I feel that there are still flaws in the gameplay that have been around for the last 2 years that haven't been fixed.

1) Fieldgoals and punts by computer. The computer is money all the time. 58 field goal in a blizzard with a 15 mph cross wind? No problem. The football doesn't just creep over the bar either , it clears by 20 yards! I swear the computer could hit a 70 yarder. This is unrealistic.

2) Blocking punts or field goals. This is impossible. I have never seen this on PS2 and I play alot! Given that this is quite a regular occurence in the real game and was possible on Sega genesis version of Madden in the early 1990s this is rather strange.

3) Hard too run between tackles. Good yardage in this area is still tough going. I can't remember the last time I ran over a linebacker and busted a big gain down the middle. You always seem to get gummed up behing your offensive line.

4) Have you ever seen a defensive lineman engage his opposite number and then immediatly fall backwards on the ground with his legs and arms in the air like a dead ant? This happens frequently, especially on pass protection. Often 3/4 of my defensive line are on the ground a second or 2 after the snap!! You would think they were 150 weaklings.

5)Wide receivers still not able to get good separation from dbs. Often u will connect on a long pass as your man gets behind db, only to be tackled after a step or 2. There is not enough YAC.

If they could fix these problems I would have given it 5 stars. However the game has been improved in many areas , and overall is more realisitic. Still worth it.

Honest reviews on Madden NFL 2003

Madden 2003 has hit the stores and I have to say that this year Madden will be the cream of the crop. I have played '03 and I am impressed by the great improvements in the AI and computer teams. Never again will I have a 16-0 season in the franchise more.

The biggest and best change in this game has to be the addition of the preseason in Franchise mode. I love the fact that you can play your rookie to see who's scouting report was good and who was slightly off. Going along with that when you draft players this year you do not see their ratings, just a scouting report with a projected round and some comments like "This guy will tackle everything in sight!" This is a great improvement as it makes the franchise mode much more difficult and more realistic.

The addition of the mini-camp mode is fun and will help you fine-tune some skills that are hard to practice in game mode or in the practice mode. I also think that the addition of Al Michaels is great!

The one thing that I could have done without is the half-time cheerleader show. There is nothing more boring than computer generated cheerleaders doing the same dance each half time!

All in all another great game from EA Sports!! Don't miss this one, as there are enough new changes to keep anyone interested until Madden 2004 comes out!

The Madden series gets better every year and this edition is the best ever

GRAPHICS amazing. Players look exactly as they do in real life their height, weight, face, even equipment accessories such as gloves and arm bands

SOUND satisfactory. John Madden & Al Michaels are much better than the old Madden & Summeral tandem. Plus the commentary is more timely now. For example, instead of the default "great touchdown" they will say something situationally relevant like "that's his second touchdown today"

GAMEPLAY perfect. The game runs slow enough that you can actually read blocks, watch the defensive coverage develop, etc. Its amazing to run the ball and actually follow a pulling guard, versus other games where you just look for daylight

OVERALL amazing game. Not only do you get the typical game mode, but you also get mini-camp mode and 2-minute drill which are brief and highly addictive. And best of all ONLINE PLAY! That's right, you can challenge anyone in the world to a game of Madden at anytime

This game is the best basketball game ever. Rags to riches is fun same with the tv turnament. All the moves you can do, bring down the house, act a fool, ankelbreakers, and playground all cool. There is so many moves, dunks, layups, cars ect. This game will never get boring unless you playit 24/7. I hope that there is a NBA Ballers 2 in the future.

This game is fun for about a day or two, or for a party with friends. It is infuriating if you actually keep at it and try to get better and use strategy. Because of the emphasis on offense (as in NBA Street), there is precious little strategy needed to win. Defense is a lost art and a source of utter frustration; for example you may block a shot, yet it still goes in, yet when the CPU blocks, the ball falls towards them half the time. The moves are cool, the unlockables are neat, yet ultimately it is a shallow game. The whole emphasis on consumer goods (buy a nice house, car, posse, etc) is a nice idea that is poorly implemented. Ultimately, the games are all as follows: 1)dribble towards your opponent 2)Perform the "Act a Fool" moves 3)dribble by opponent 4)Shoot 5)Get back on "defense" and watch your opponent score on you, no matter what you do. Also, the utter lack of reliability in terms of the shooting is aggravating; there is no rhyme or reason to your jumpshots. You may hit them with someone in your face, yet you may miss 4 in a row while wide open. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a bad game, it's just that those looking for a little depth may want to look elsewhere (like ESPN NBA 2K4, which has a street mode not unlike this game). The graphics are okay (both ESPN NBA 2K4 and NBA Live 2004 are better) and the sounds is good, but the loading times are TERRIBLE. Seems like half the game is spent waiting to load. Rent first!

OK SO YOU EMBARK INTO THIS GAME TO FIND OUT THAT THE GAME AI CHEATS, THE OPPONENT ALWAYS CATCHES UP, ALWAYS GETS THE REBOUND AND MAKES IMPOSSIBLE SHOTS. AND IT IS INFURIATING. BUT IF YOU PERSIST, YOU WILL FIND A GAME THAT IS SO ADDICTING, SO SATISFYING, YOU'LL THANK GOD YOU GAVE IT IT ANOTHER CHANCE.

THE FACT THAT IT CHEATS MAKES YOU WANT TO BEAT IT MORE AND IN THE END YOU'RE CHANTING HAAAAHHAAAAAA!!!!!!!!

THIS GAME WILL EAT YOUR LIFE.

PLUS IT'S AWESOME, YOU CAN'T EVER EMBARASS SOMEONE THIS MUCH IN BASKETBALL LET ALONE IN LIFE.

BUY IT TO SEE WHAT I MEAN, OR RENT IT BUT REALLY SPEND A WHILE TO GET INTO IT.

IT IS WORTH IT.

It's still the same game but remember YOU CAN'T PLAY IT ON XBOX 360. I was not aware at the time of purchase that it isn't compatible.

hands down the best graphics for a basketball game. awesome moves and combos. There's nothing like the feeling of shaking someone and jamming from the freethrow line, especially if it was on your friend.

The product was extremely fun. It was the only thing my boyfriend did not have for Rock Band and were tired of singing into remote controls...lol..so I ordered this product and we love it!!!!!! Fantastic, fun and wonderful quality. Seller boxed and wrapped it well and came in great condition. Would definitely recommend this product.

This product will get the job done. The height adjuster seems like it may give in time. But I've had the stand for several months now and it has held up pretty well. If you're hardcore about your microphone stand usage, it may be better served to get a more steady metal stand over this one.

The package includes all the needed accessories and a wire holder for your microphone. I found the wire holder to be pretty useless and not really all that effective. The grip on the microphone has remained intact and I am pleased with my purchase.

This mic stand is great. It adjusts vertically to such a degree that my son can sit on a chair and use it shortened (e.g., while playing the keyboard, although it takes some maneuvering) or stand with it lengthened. I personally love standing with it; makes me feel like a "real singer."

I would recommend this stand although I do want to point out that there seems to be no way to lock the angle of the mic so the only way we have found to keep the mic from rolling back into a vertical position is to wrap the cord around the stand and loosen or tighten as needed. However, for all I know this is the intended function; in any case, it shouldn't deter anyone from purchase.

I bought this game for only one reason, because I love the original NES version soo much. The original NES version was a perfect side scroller action game that you can play over and over without getting tired of it. I was a little disapointed with the Gameboy Color version but after a while, it begins to grow on you. It may not be as good as the NES version but this game is still worth buying.

If you liked the NES version of Bionic Commando, this Gameboy Color version makes the NES version look archaic!! New levels, two characters to choose from (the strong male, and the agile female), beautiful graphics, smooth scrolling, and detailed character animations truely make this cartridge stand out. With the traditional side scrolling levels, and top-down battles when intercepting enemy trucks, and a new 3rd type of combat in sniper mode that is optional for powerups during a mission, the game will definately keep you entertained. 3 save slots are available on this cartridge. Also, if you are mid-mission, and you need to quit back to the map to change equipment or save, holding Select, A, and B all at the same time will exit the mission and bring you out.

Cons:The price, it will be much better to get a combo of this pieces for example 1 bag of 10, is more expensive the shipping
