Best gaming headset I've found in a long time. Comfortable for extended periods of gaming. Very durable, yet light enough to feel like I'm not wearing anything.

Reviews of Creative Sound Blaster Tactic 3D Fury Gaming Headset
Great headset! Fits very comfortably for long periods of time. Sounds quality is amazing, as always! The amount of pre-set profiles, especially those from pro and former pro players is a great feature. The build quality is sold and for the price you cannot beat this headset if you're a gamer!

Cheap Lips - Xbox 360
I'm a big Karaoke Revolution, Rock Band, and Guitar Hero fan. Lips is a pretty good first try. The songs are pretty good but the selection could be a little bigger. Also, some of the songs are really nice to listen to, but they're hard to sing in that a lot of the songs have choppy, quick phrasing. Almost feels like you're rapping to some of the songs instead of doing melody.
I wish they copied the above games more in terms of singing. I'll use karaoke Revolution as an example. As you sing, it's very easy to see the words as well as what pitch you're singing at because they have an easy to see arrow and if you notice that you need to sing higher or lower you can adjust. This is all while still being easy to see the words to the songs.
But on Lips, the words are totally separate from the pitch bar. So if you follow the words, it's hard to see the pitch bar unless you have fabulous peripheral vision. And if you follow the pitch bar, you better know the words beforehand. Plus, you see the glowing light of what pitch you're at but it's not as easy to follow as the arrow you see in Karaoke Revolution or Rock Band or Guitar Hero.
They make up for this fault by taking away all of the game aspect. there's no chance to fail. There's no difficulty level to choose. There's no computer audience to boo. So it feels like a karaoke machine rather than a game. But you don't get that sense of accomplishment the other games give where you feel like you match that pitch bar and feel like a singer.
They should also give you options of how the text and pitch bar scroll like in the other games. The best scrolling is Karaoke Revolution and Rock Band. Pretty each to read the text and pitch bar.
Guitar Hero/Band Hero is bad at scrolling text. But it offers a static mode that is really good too. Lips is like a combination of the two but it's not as good as either mode individually.
I'll be honest, I bought it for the wireless mics, not the game. The mics are really cool. They have glowing lights that change color. And the colors sync up to the music. the setup for the mics is much harder than it should be. trust me, you won't get it the first time or rather, you won't be sure you got it or not until you start the game. there's very little visual indication that it's been properly set up. And it's hard to turn off the controllers too. Because the same action (hold down the button on the bottom of the mic) does 3 different things. You need to do it twice to setup the mic. but you also do it to turn off the mic. so sometimes, you want to turn it off and then you accidentally you put it in pairing mode. when I thought the mic was off, it was on.
in terms of the sound, I liked my mics for Karaoke Revolution more even though they were wired. the sound was just more natural. the sound coming out of these wireless mics seemed a little artificial. almost a tinny quality. and they were not as good at filtering noise.
also, you can use the mics as instruments by shaking them to simulate various instruments like tamborine, etc. but again, there was a lag to when you shook the mic to when it played the sound so if you shake according to the music, it'll sound really off sync with the music.
i love the feature of how you can join a song just by shaking the mic. and the tilt features of the mic are gimmicky but is hilarious in a group situation when both singers raise up the mic in tandem.
Also, there seemed to be a delay between when you sing into the mic and when it comes out the game. but after playing around with the game, I got a downloaded update to the game from MS and it included a cool sync tool. and it's by far the easy calibration tool I've ever used for a music game. You just put up the microphone to the TV speaker while it's running and after a few seconds, it calculates the delay.
Lips for the Xbox 360 takes in the appeal of what the Singstar! series had for the PS2, and brings in the appeal as a first for Xbox 360 players. While the game might seem like a gimmick, there actually is surprisingly more. You have the usuals like Singstar, from singing along to over 40 tracks that appeal from recent favorites like Duffy's Mercy and the extremely overexposed artist of 2008 Rihanna with Umbrella, to classics like The Jackson 5's ABC, and Everything She Does Is Magic by The Police. You also have the ability to download videos from the Xbox Live marketplace to add on to the fun. While the graphics and sound might feel like it is similar to Singstar!, as well as the concept of the downloadable content, what makes this unique to the gameplay is Lips secret weapon.
What makes the gameplay more unique is that you can plug in your MP3 player or Ipod, and connect it to the 360, and sing along to your favorite songs off their personal MP3 Players in the game as well. This feature makes the game a whole lot more exciting and addictive to the gameplay for parties everywhere. Sadly, there is one big disadvantage to the MP3 playback. The only music downloads that are compatable, are ones that are MP3 DRM-Free capable. Which is the only problem, is that if you download music off of sites that use other music files in Windows Media Audio or WMA, they will not be playable on the game. That is sadly, the only major flaw in the game. Also, I was hoping that with the price of the Singstar! games for PS2 and Playstation 3, I really thought it would also be a bit less expensive.
All in all though, Lips for the Xbox 360 brings in the singing along concept well for those who want to have a great time listening to their favorite songs. If you've gotten pretty tired of Singstar!, or if you don't own a Playstation 2, or PS3, than this would be a fantastic buy for music lovers and 360 gamers all around the world. I really hope they make this concept for more music games like this soon. At around $65, you really get a great game, that doesn't feel like it is a gimmick.

You can do 'battles' with another singer, but you can't choose your own avatar when you do. So, you both look like monsters, one skinny with green hair and the other fat with blue hair. It's also confusing to figure out who's who.
I feel this has so much promise, but it's not there yet. And the songs... not that many... we're still figuring the proper format to upload our own music.
I like that it has the original music videos for the songs it offers though.
If you don't have Rock Band 2 you may like to check that one out Rock Band 2
YOU MUST UNPLUG ALL USB MICROPHONES BEFORE STARTING LIPS!
One of the better gifts I gave this Christmas was Lips, though I have to admit I was hesitant to buy it after reading a couple mediocre reviews from gamespot and kotaku. Most of the negativity seems to revolve around the music import tool, allowing you to import your own MP3's, WMA's and M4A's from a connected thumb drive, music player (haven't tried the iPod yet, sorry), and even through a wireless connected media center! It sounds like a good idea, but one reviewer pointed out "importing thousands of my own songs was...largely useless. You don't get lyrics..." Not so. Forget proper karaoke for a moment if you love just singing along with your favorite tunes but lack a legitimate excuse to grab a mic and rock out, Lips offers exactly that. Matching the music's waveform earns you the same points and fills the mic-gesture-gauge just as though the song were part of the game. It's a blast and we love it! Even if you decide not to import your own music, there's plenty to purchase online with full lyrics and music videos. Unfortunately, with only 40 tracks on disc, you'll find that if you DON'T add to the library at all, you'll quickly tire of repeating yourself.
Besides the library, the game itself offers a lot over its sing-along competition. The interface alone is super-slick, displaying album art for each song during music selection, and overall the whole experience is tailored for group play. Players can sing simultaneously in versus mode, or take turns with phrases and harmonies in duet mode. There's even a few party game modes (vocal fighters, Kiss, and Time Bomb) which can be activated by selecting them as the songs background video. Spectators can even use the standard controllers to make a verity of percussive sounds (ie "noise makers"), and the motion-sensitive mics can be used to activate a star/point bonus when the gesture gauge fills (much like star power in RockBand / Guitar Hero). And to answer your question, yes, Harmonix has promised a patch which will make the wireless mics compatible with RockBand in the near future. Woo!
My only complaint is an incompatibility that isn't documented in the instructions:
YOU MUST UNPLUG ALL USB MICROPHONES BEFORE STARTING LIPS.
I'll explain. First, don't listen to what other people have said -the process of syncing both mics is just as easy as syncing a normal wireless controller. We ran into no problems here what so ever. The problem was that, though everything was working fine in single player mode, as soon as I tried to join in with the 2nd microphone, BOTH mics stopped working. Then, when starting over, the first mic, which was working fine before, started having timing and static issues. Additionally, the lights on the 2nd mic never light up, making me think it was either broken or not synced properly. No matter which order I connected everything, connecting a 2nd mic broke the connection with the first. Almost ready to take it all back, I ran across this thread on Gamespot, revealing the following observation:
"It turns out that all my issues stem from the fact I have a USB microphone connected to my Xbox 360. Somehow microphone registration gets all screwy because of that. In my case, I have my Rock Band microphone plugged into the Xbox 360 at all times. The fix is to unplug the USB microphone when you're playing Lips. Apparently this will fix both the 2nd microphone lighting issues as well as the static noise, video and audio out of sync issues, as well as the freezing issues."
My problem EXACTLY. I hope someone out there finds this useful. Happy new year!
Pro's
1) Endless music library. For me, this is one of the better Pro's as I love the fact that I can use almost my entire music collection on this game. I say almost because it's restricted to songs in MP3 DRM-Free format, though that's what most of my songs are, so no big problem.
2) Interface. I simply love the interface. It looks nice and it's very easy to use. You have the ability to change the theme and color to those of your choice which means everyone can choose a favorite color. It's also very easy to browse through songs, and search for more off a removable device, xbox live download center, hard drive, etc.
3) Music videos in the background. While, the other backgrounds are fun to use once in a while, I personally enjoy the fact that most of the songs all come with music videos. It makes it more fun for others to watch while you sing.
4) Other backgrounds. The other backgrounds you can choose from are great to. Some animated ones that seem to change depending on the type of song you're playing, i.e. rock, pop, country, etc, and a few interactive ones. One of them is called "Time Bomb" and while you sing you will fill a glass of water up, and you tilt the mic to pour the water onto a fuse to try and stop the bomb from going off. Pretty fun, and makes the game more than just singing.
5) Mics are awesome. I just simply love the mics that come with the game. Both of mine have been working flawlessly and are really fun. Light up while you're singing and have accelerometers inside them so you can shake to the beat of the song. Quite fun really. The only problem I really have with them is turning them off. Think I've found it out now, but sometimes it'll start blinking again a few minutes later, so I'll have to turn it off again, though I might've just not turned it off right the first time...still working on that.
6) Good 40 songs to start with. The 40 songs it comes with are actually pretty fun, and you're bound to know a few of them. I knew more than 20 of them myself, and the rest were fun and pretty easy to learn with the lyrics being on the screen. Might just take a few tries.
7) Fun. All around it's a pretty fun game...only done it with three people at the most so far, but it seems like it'd be great for a party. I'm planning on taking it to a party on New Year's Eve so we'll see if it goes over well or not...might decide to edit my post and let you guys know.
Okay, plenty more pro's but can't really name them all, some are smaller and would just get really lengthy naming them...nor for the cons.
Con's
1) Not good for Xbox Live. Well...the Xbox Live experience just isn't there. The only thing you can do with other players is challenge them to sing a song with you, though I haven't tried yet as none of my online friends have the game. There's also no leaderboard or anything like that, so no way to compare your score's to others' or to find someone that you might be able to challenge. I mean, I'd love to try the challenge but since none of my friends have it, and there's no way to find other users who have it, I just have to wait. One of my friends might end up getting it, but not sure.
2) No score's saved. Actually, there's not too much saved at all. I think it saves your top 5 songs sung, (might've been 10) but other than that it doesn't really save much. This was kind of disappointing because unless you keep a notepad/pen close, you'll never be able to tell if you beat your previous high score.
3) Not really a good voice reducer. Well, I was kind of hoping that for the songs that came with the game you'd be able to completely drown out the voice of the original artist, but it doesn't really drain it out that well. I mean, you can really still hear the original artist very easily. Seems even worse when you use a song from your own library. It's not that big of a deal, but definitely a bit of a disappointment.
4) Only show a max of 5,360 songs when looking for songs to add. This might not be a big deal for everyone, but I have over 10,000 songs on my iPod, and when I connect it, it only loads about half my songs, and will leave the rest out of the list, and there is no way to "load next 5,360 songs" or something like that, which kind of sucks. I've run into the problem of not being able to find my songs quite a few times so far because it ran out of room to add songs...a bit disappointing but I can see the reason they'd do it.
I have some more cons, but I'm going to put them in the section below, because they are not going to be cons that everyone will actually run into, and aren't that big.
Other (These are not pros or cons, just some notes)
1) Songs added from external device won't load. Well, after I added a few songs from my iPod, (not many...maybe 10) I played them all, and they all worked fine for then, but after I turned off my 360 and turned it back on, I had to plug in my iPod, and, believe it or not, that error from above must've had an effect because it wouldn't load some of my songs from the external device and I wasn't able to play them. I waited about 5-10 minutes for one song to work, it was sitting on "Plug in the external device this song is located on", so I'm assuming it was searching or something. After it finally finished I clicked play and it started up, but as soon as it started it ended. Didn't play any music at all, just went to the custom video and right back out. Not sure what happened but I'm assuming that Lips might've loaded a different 5,360 songs from it that time, meaning that my other song might not have loaded.
2) Album art doesn't always load. While I was playing earlier today I noticed that some of the album art for songs that came with the game weren't loading, however, this problem was fixed when I restarted my Xbox and I haven't had it since. Could've been a one time glitch.
3) Not many songs on the xbox live download center yet, but this game isn't too old so hopefully more will come out soon. I'm really hoping they don't forget this game and will try to release AT LEAST one new one per week...that's not asking too much.
4) Rate songs that you add and maybe see them added to the xbox live download center. I thought this feature was neat. Once I finished my first song from my library and I went to rate it, it told me that when I rate my songs it'll keep the information, and when multiple users rate a song high, or play it alot (something like that) they will work on getting lyrics and other content for the song (music videos?) up on the xbox live download center. Seemed like a neat idea, and a good way to give the consumers what songs THEY want.
5) It's not as easy to hum your personal collection as some say it is. You can try and "hum" your way through a song, but it's really not as easy as some people would have you think. I've personally tried it and I've found I get many more points when I sing the actual words to the song, plus, what's the point of humming? Even if you can do it, doesn't mean you have to do it. If people have more fun humming the song than singing the actual words, that's their business, I really don't see how it'd be considered a flaw...after all, it's not really a competitive game, it's meant to be used so you can have fun...and if you are in versus mode and someone is doing it just say stop, or don't play with that person again...not that hard.
6) My iPod (80GB Classic) doesn't seem to be the greatest item to pair with this game. While it works, it doesn't add all the songs, and it takes a little while to browse through as the game pauses after every 3-4 letters if you're using LB/RB to skip through the letters to get somewhere faster. It also seems risky as the song might not be the same one loaded next time. I'd say if you have a 32GB iPod Touch or lower you'd be fine. I actually got around this by just adding any music I want to a 2GB flash drive. Much faster, and easier to load new songs to it.
Jeez, I really can't think of anything else. This really is a great game, and seems like it'd be perfect for any fun parties. You can just put it in jukebox mode and play your entire library and just let it randomize, play only songs in a certain rank range (such as 1 star, or 5 star's), or make your own playlist and play it. Then, you can just listen to the music, and if anyone feels like it, they can walk up and shake the mic and start singing. All in all, it's definitely worth giving a try if you're into these kind of games. I personally think it's better than Rockband/Guitar Hero, on the vocals side of things, however, it can only be that way as long as they continue to add content. If they don't add anymore content, it might get boring after a while. I mean, it's fine to sing from my personal collection, but I personally prefer playing with the original music video, and lyrics, to help me...not to mention I also like when it shows how you're singing and how well on pitch you are.
Hope this review was helpful to someone!

There are just so many great music games out there. While you have the guitar standards that are based on rhythm like Rock Band and Guitar Hero, and those that make you step to the beat of the music like Dance Dance Revolution, there is just the feeling of games that you have to sing your way to the top. With lackluster games like American Idol and Disney's Sing It!, just appeal to tweens and teeny-boppers wannabes alike, there just doesn't feel like there is a universal appeal to sing-a-long games alike. For those who've played Singstar so much from the PS2 and Playstation 3, the Xbox 360 has taken that notion to a whole new level that makes it more than just meets the eye.Lips for the Xbox 360 takes in the appeal of what the Singstar! series had for the PS2, and brings in the appeal as a first for Xbox 360 players. If you like to sing, Rock Band 2 is better. When you sing on Rock Band2, it shows you how close you are to hitting the right pitch. With Lips, it only lights up if you hit the right pitch, so it's not as much help in learning to sing the song perfectly on pitch. You can do 'battles' with another singer, but you can't choose your own avatar when you do. I'll explain. First, don't listen to what other people have said -the process of syncing both mics is just as easy as syncing a normal wireless controller. We ran into no problems here what so ever. Ok, so I'll just start off by saying, I was having a hard time choosing whether or not to give this game four stars or five stars. It has it's pro's, but it also has it's con's, so four stars seemed appropriate, however, I finally landed on five stars to help get the review back up from some reviews which I deem the game doesn't deserve, simply because the reviewer didn't read about the product before buying it. List the pro's and con's for me below, and hopefully it'll help you make your decision.Pro's
1) Endless music library. For me, this is one of the better Pro's as I love the fact that I can use almost my entire music collection on this game. I say almost because it's restricted to songs in MP3 DRM-Free format, though that's what most of my songs are, so no big problem.

Cheap Shanghai Pocket
Shanghai Pocket is a wonderful game, and has a lot of charm with its graphics and music. The music is repetitive, but it isn't annoying, and the animals that you free by completing each stage are a nice touch; interesting that they match the Chinese Zodiac! My only complaints are 1) The size of the tiles: You WILL need a Gameboy magnifier with a light, my eyesight is fine, but would strain others with less than good eyesight or have tired eyes, and 2) The lack of a save game means that you have to play all 12 stages to watch the endgame feature! Switching the game off, or selecting "quit" and switching off will erase your progress, and it's tiring to play each stage without a break; thank goodness for Nintendo AC adapters! These two complaints prevented a five star rating, but it is still a wonderful game and I highly recommend it!Ilove the game Shanghai pocket. Mahjongg is my all time favorite game to play I have it downloaded on my personal computer and play it as often as I can. My only complaint is that you can not save your game so you can continue at another time(when the boss goes to lunch) and you can save the chinese horoscope symbols that you've already saved. You have to start all over again. Some different symbols would be nice to try instead of the two choices you have for each row. But the different layouts are great and being able to set different time limits on your game is good too. I really love it. The only problems I now have is carpal tunnel on my wrists and eye strain because I can't put the game down. Thanks alot . Some oriental music playing in the background would of suited this game much better than the one that plays in the background. It's got a cute little tune to it..

Buy Gioteck TX1 THROAT MIC for XBOX 360
This is yet another standard microphone being passed off as a throat mic, ala the MadCatz MW2 throat mic. This mic at least lets you adjust the pickups, but is still only built to fit up to a small to average neck, large necks still left out. audio clarity is much better, but is only on par with the OEM headset. the air vibration mic in this throat mic is more sensetive, so my friends could hear me just fine... They also could hear just fine all that was occurring in the game. They indicated the sounds from the tv nearly drowned me out when speaking, and on the occasions that a friend in our party chat was placed on the other team he was able to use my mic for advanced warning when we called in strikes, or started taking objectives.
I recommend avoiding the entire category of throat mics for the XBOX till someone creates a throat mic actually based off the skin contact microphone. Looks like I will be loking at the throat mics created for hunting/paintballing as many of them use the correct technology and have multiple pin adapters, maybe one wil work with the 360.
I like with how the product was designed, so I didn't have to worry about how to put it on.
Being very concerned about the mic attached to the product, I tested it using the Xbox LIVE voice messaging system. It sounded pretty oversensitive since it could hear my button presses and stick and bumper clicks. Turns out that it faces away from the neck to pick up sound from around the user instead of directly from the user. When tested in-game, though, I haven't heard any complaints.
I also tried testing the mute switch. Although the console says it hears nothing, I could still hear some unbearable noise from it... Until I realized that the earpiece is a LOT louder than a stock headset. Honestly, I find this beneficial.
This product may make or break a relationship with the manufacturer because of these loose ends. Take precautions between you and the audio coming from your game console if and when you decide on this one.
Great product
i highly reccomend it

I don't want to sound fake, but the mic works perfectly. I'm a bigger guy (19inch neck) and it sits very well, albeit at maximum alignment. I was skeptical when I bought it, but it was worth every penny.Best Deals for Gioteck TX1 THROAT MIC for XBOX 360
I can finally see why this product had been discontinued after such a short lifespan. This doesn't go without saying I'll keep using it, though.I like with how the product was designed, so I didn't have to worry about how to put it on.

Honest reviews on Gioteck TX1 THROAT MIC for XBOX 360
This mic is awsome. The technology involved is pretty sweet also. I like this mic because you don't have a mic hanging in front of your face when you are trying to eat. The earpiece fits nicely in your ear. The only down side is you can't adjust the sensetivity of the mic; it will pic up someone talking across the room. Overall I highly recomend this mic to anyone.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Gioteck TX1 THROAT MIC for XBOX 360
Don't listen to these people who are rough critics who say it is a rip off or what ever. I believe it is a great mic especially for the price. The quality is pretty good but its not a mic that can only hear you. It hears things outside the throat like the game your are playing, but thats what the default mic does too so I dont really find it that big of a deal.Great product
i highly reccomend it

I'm not too excited about my child watching a lot of TV even less so about video games. But when we do either I want to make sure there is some education or learning taking place. This game combines two things that my child loves to do: Learn about nature and playing games. Her friends that come visit also enjoy playing it and I have to say its even pretty fun for adults. Its really funny to see Grandma and my daughter pretend to be a bear :)
You can read about the product details but I wanted to throw in my two cents that I think the game is a solid investment for your 4-8 year old.

My girls love this game. They get to pretend to be the animal that is featured in the episode (bear cub, mountain lion, etc.). It gets them up and moving while watching an educational tv show. Recently bought the kinect to play with my almost 3 year old daughter. Out of all the games I bought, this one is the most fun of them all. Easily recognizes me at 6ft and my daughter at 3ft. Fun to see our bodies with animal head and hands. While I found the actual show part interesting, it didn't keep her attention for too long so we've mostly been playing just the games. Definitely recommend for young kids and adults to play together.Saturday, September 20, 2014

I, along with many others, was ultimately kind of disappointed with the original GTA IV. The removal of the staple elements of the GTA franchise was not good; the side service missions such as paramedic/fire/taxi, the wee remote control vehicles, the crazy cars along with the mini tracks for go karting, triple stunt points gone, and so on... and of course the loss of the planes. Heck even give me back the dodo R*! It was a big surprise to see all that gone and not a pleasant one. But when playing GTA IV you kind of felt that they had more planned for Liberty City in the future. Maybe that golfing range might be able to be used, that skateboard park might come into play and perhaps we'll get to ride on the ferris wheel too at some point.
So with the release of TLOD and TBOGT we're getting somewhere. Now for full disclosure I played The Ballad of Gay Tony through first even though it's episode two, primarily because I wanted to base jump! And in TBOGT I can see Rockstar finally giving us back some of what they took away. You can indeed now play golf in that floating driving range, you can base jump off specific buildings as a challenge or indeed just buy a parachute and jump off anything you want. Tanks are back too! Rockstar are slowly making LC a more fun sandbox and I hope that continues with the release of more episodes. With regards to these two episodes, well you can't go wrong. Both are typical GTA fare with varied missions and great story lines. I won't go into the plots of each do I need to? There's some nice cross-over moments in the stories though that will make you smile!
With TBOGT you have specific optional targets to do in each mission such as a time limit or how much damage you take. The nice thing about the way this works are the new very extensive mission checkpoints, something massively lacking from GTA IV. But there's a penalty for using a checkpoint if you use a reload then your mission objectives aren't saved. You can still complete the mission and continue with the story but there's an actual incentive to replay each one and do better each time. It's a great game mechanic that satisfies both players who prefer to blast through the game and those who wish to fine tune each play-through. Nice.
It also seems that LC's code and graphics were fine-tuned somewhat because there's considerably less little glitches and popups in TBOGT over TLOD and the original. But do install the game to the HD if you buy the disc version regardless of which episode you play.
All in all very satisfied that I got my money's worth here. I'm now playing through TLOD although I still have some side mission (drug wars) to complete in TBOGT. It took me 18 hours to complete the second episode and I expect about the same for TLOD. So for about a dollar an hour entertainment this hits the mark. If you felt, as I did, that GTA IV was a step in the wrong direction for GTA then I recommend this compilation; GTA is heading back to its roots.
R* should also be commended for not allowing folks to play the episodes without the need for the original GTA disc if you buy the disc version (you'll need the original if you DL the episodes from XBL). Helpful for those of us who put GTA IV on ebay shortly after completing it!
This game is a big treat and very welcome to those who don't take full advantage of XBox live, and it continues the tradition of making 'ported' and 'download only' games eventually available on the console, and at a reduced price. (Still no word on a console version of Chinatown Wars, though.)
These 'spinoff' games are typically shorter than the main game, the missions tend to be easier, and the focus is on more immediate fun. You don't have to unlock any parts of the city (everything is instantly available), and the missions are often focused on shooting up rival gangs and causing havoc, presumably to reduce frustration. The two games here are very different in tone, but make no mistake, GTA-esque action abounds. The stories are also interwoven with each other and with the original GTA IV story, meaning Niko and Roman Belic appear as side characters, in addition to Brucie and other Liberty City miscreants.
The weapons may be the biggest improvement---we get a crop of new and very improved weapons that will ensure you spend that many more hours blowing up things real good. There's an automatic pistol, a couple of ridiculous shotguns (an auto shotgun and then some kind of combat shotgun with explosive shotguns that feels like an earthquake when it strikes something), a M-60 or SAW-esque machine gun (similar to Ghost Recon), and even sticky bombs, which go a long way towards terrorizing Liberty City. Just rampaging with these new toys alone will provide plenty of replay value. Some new vehicles appear, including some very fast new sports cars, an AMC Gremlin-lookalike, an attack helicopter, and best of all...an APC / SWAT (or NOOSE) tank.
Typically, there are new features and side missions. I loved the gang war aspect of LaD and the similar drug war missions in TBoGT. Too bad they haven't brought back the empire building element from Vice City Stories. Oddly, you can't do vigilante missions this time around (nor taxi, or fire, or ambulance, etc). Very surprised they didn't mess around with vehicle modification, either...the whole biker gang/chopper angle was ripe for it (or maybe the intentionally did not want to overlap with the Orange County Chopper obsessions). TLaTt is the grungier and darker story, concerning an outlaw biker gang. You play Jonny, a gang member caught between the recently released gang leader, rival factions, the mob, and the usual insanity. TBoGT is decidedly less somber and features more ridiculous missions. You play Luis, a bouncer in some of the biggest clubs in the city. It inserts more of the earlier GTA humor into the proceedings. The club angle is also fun as the protagonist can do shots, dance, and brawl...or play bouncer, instead. There's also a cage fighting bit in TBoGT where you can hone your melee skills and earn a few extra bucks.
As for the audio, we get the same stations as GTA IV, though with a couple of changes (the hardcore station is now death and black metal and blares constantly throughout TLatD, and The Journey changes in name only), but with all new songs. Many of the commercials are the same, but the talk shows are all new. Perhaps best of all is a belated take-off on the Howard Stern show called 'The Martin Serious Show' that pointedly rips the shock-jock by mocking the cynicism and 'funniness' of 'the show'. There's also new material on the TV, highlighting just how much work goes into these games.
Admittedly, while GTA IV was amazing in some regards, it was also a step back in others. I still think the most 'packed' GTA game was San Andreas, in terms of the ridiculous amount of things you could do---missions, skills, side missions, and the incredible size of the playable game space (essentially three cities in one game). To really pick on IV...what is up with the cheats? The least amount of cheats of any GTA game, by far. No flying cars...no ridiculous outfits for everyone else, no gang wars, no armed civilians, no airplanes!
But let's give the game its due. It's still GTA IV, but with new stories, and some new improvements. This is a great way to feed your GTA addiction until the next game (new platform or ported) appears.
This is a serious flaw in my opinion. My friends have the original GTAIV and downloaded these episodes, but we cannot play online because I bought Liberty City episodes. They are the exact same thing, but we cannot play online!!!!
Lost and Damned wasnt really my cup of tea. the storyline is OK but for the most part, felt very boring, maybe because biker gangs arent my thing?? i feel they could have done alot more with it. maybe have an ongoing Turf War mode where other gangs attack your area of town at random. on a lighter note, it does capture the biking culture well so for fans of that, you may be very satisfied with it...
overall, Rockstar did an awesome job at extending the Life of GTA4 with these add on's and they are truly worth your money and time.

This is a fantastic game! I won't waste time with another glowing review, but it is important to know that if you purchase this version (Liberty City Episodes) instead of the regular GTAIV game, you will not be able to play online with regular GTAIV users, even if they have downloaded the Lost and Damned and/or Ballad of Gay Tony episodes!!This is a serious flaw in my opinion. Honest reviews on Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City - Xbox 360
A lot of people were dissapointed with GTA IV when it came out. Mainly because it didnt have as many "Over the top" side missions like San Andreas had. I personally thought GTA IV was great but lets talk about episodes from Liberty City. With this disc you get 2 complete games. "The Lost & Damned" aswell as IMO the better of the two "The Ballad of Gay Tony". TBOGT has more over the top side missions etc. like GTA San Andreas had. (Cage Fighting). The graphics are top notch aswell as the gameplay and story. The only complaint I have is I wish the game was a bit longer but I guess it makes up for that in Side Missions. You have a whole different radio soundtrack which I thought was great. VICE CITY FM being one of them. Make sure to pick this game up, it's def. one of the best games to comeout on the Xbox 360.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City - Xbox 360
Ballad of Gay Tony is an Excellent addition to the GTA4 product that really captures the true essence of the Manhattan Club scene. the storyline itself is pretty good...but the free roam is where its at when it comes to GTA. i love how once the game begins, you are started in Manhattan with all areas unlocked and all of the guns are available to purchase...as well as extra outfits, its alot faster than the original GTA4 with Niko. having multiple bootycalls, participating in a fight club and managing the dance club are interesting aspects as well, however boring after a while...but this game does an excellent job of simulating an Actual Life...probably the best out of any game iv played...it mirrors San Andreas in many ways...just with 10x more sex...Lost and Damned wasnt really my cup of tea. the storyline is OK but for the most part, felt very boring, maybe because biker gangs arent my thing?? i feel they could have done alot more with it. maybe have an ongoing Turf War mode where other gangs attack your area of town at random. on a lighter note, it does capture the biking culture well so for fans of that, you may be very satisfied with it...
overall, Rockstar did an awesome job at extending the Life of GTA4 with these add on's and they are truly worth your money and time.

Lowrider Reviews
The best part about this game is in fact the cars and what you can do to them. I had the best time pimping up my ride for the contest and that is pretty much as good as it gets. They should hook up with the people who make the Need For Speed Games and then make it really about the cars. Give us some more rims to choose from or something. This game looks and feels like something nintendo put out in the early 90's. Lets up the fun and bring the game into 2004. They should re-design the hole thing and re-release it with a bang! They need to do for Lowriding what Need For Speed Underground is doing with those euro cars!!!!!!

Great game, limited but fun overall. I whish they came up with an upgraded version that had more options but I guess I guess they decided to leave it at that.Best Deals for Lowrider
i like the lowrider game because i like lowrider i like being oraund them i have a lowrider myself so having this game its nice too so thank you amazonHonest reviews on Lowrider
I love this game. Pimp out your ride and hit the strip. Compete with other cars to earn cash to pimp your ride out some more. The only complaint I have with this game is that it is too short. I think more locations across the usa would have been nice. Being limited to the west coast is a mistake. What about the other states? 4 stars: yes. 5 stars: maybe if it had more locations.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Lowrider
I didnt know what to expect of this game at first. I am a fan of lowriders in general and I wanted to try a game that was dealing with low cars. and after beating the game I can say that the only bad part about it is the length. there are only 5 cities, and in each of the cities you can fly through the stuff you have to do and usually the same on the main events. Overall this game is fun, its simple, and you dont have to do a whole lot. I would have loved to have more cities to low ride in.Wednesday, September 10, 2014
Xbox Memory Unit Review
Don't buy this memory card until you need it. Mine works well, but it only has one use: it transfers files from X-box to X-box.
The X-box has a huge hard drive, and since the hard drive is what you use to save your games, you can play for years without a memory card.
After fully testing the memory card, here are the restrictions:
-You can't directly transfer files from X-box to X-box, even with the system link cable, so the only way to transfer files is with the memory card.
-You can't transfer music files on the memory card. It would hold about two files, but the X-box won't let you. You can only transfer game saves.
-You can only transfer character profiles, so you can't transfer the progress on a game like Dead or Alive that doesn't have character profiles.
-You have to transfer character profiles one at a time.
Probably the best use for this memory card is if your friend has an X-box, and has unlocked a bunch of special features on a game, you can save the profile off your friend's X-box to your memory card and then transfer it to your X-box.
The memory unit is fast. While I have not tested it rigorously (just sold my PS2 :), I think it loads and saves faster than PS2 -of course, it could be also that the Xbox is more efficient and/or uses less data. Anyway, I do think the price is a bit too high.....
You can pick up one of a few third-party memory units. I have not tested them so can't offer advice on whether they work well. I only know that third-party PS2 memory cards usually [stink].
Bottom line: if you intend to play your beloved games on other people's Xboxes a lot, this is a must-have. Otherwise, skip.
Next, if you're used to the Playstation and GameCube style of saving games on your memory card, this is not neccessary for the XBOX. You can use the hard drive. But, having said that, know that you will need the Memory Unit if you want to take saved files to a friends house.
However, the best reason that I've found to have one of these is because of the game HALO. If you have progressed in a level, but have not finished it and you decide to show someone the beginning of the same level, you will erase all of your progress.
With the memory card, you can save your progress on it and demo whatever you want without fear of losing it all. Some other games may have the same problems, so for these reasons, the memory unit is a smart buy.

You need the Xbox memory unit only if you intend to take your saved games to another Xbox (e.g., at your friend's house). The Xbox already has an internal hard drive which allows you to save games (among other things). The memory unit plugs into one of the two ports on your Xbox controller. Its light weight means you probably won't feel it in your hands. The memory unit is fast. It can be used to bring your saved games over to a friends house, but you don't need it if you don't know anyone with an xbox. The xbox has it's own hard drive that does the same thing, but isn't portable.Honest reviews on Xbox Memory Unit
First, let me start by saying that if you're going to buy a memory unit, get a cheaper third party one. They're licensed by Microsoft and will save you (money).Next, if you're used to the Playstation and GameCube style of saving games on your memory card, this is not neccessary for the XBOX. You can use the hard drive. But, having said that, know that you will need the Memory Unit if you want to take saved files to a friends house.

Ok, technically you don't need a memory unit, thanks to the XBox's hard drive, but there is one reason why having one is a very good idea: backup. If you XBox hard drive decides to call it quits, all of your saved games will likely go with it. If you're into long games such as Morrowind, that is a large time investment down the drain. Spend the cash and keep 2 copies of your most important saves.Wednesday, July 30, 2014
Buy Xbox DVD Movie Playback Kit
Customer Ratings:

Today's Bonus: 59% Off

1) Get this Movie Playback Kit
2) Put the remote away in a drawer (you still need the receiver)
3) Enter the code for an RCA DVD Player into your universal remote
4) Use your universal remote to control your XBox without any custom programming!
Cons: Hard to find one.
Overall: Great for Xbox gamers who want a High Quality DVD player for under [item price].
My info:
I bought my Xbox in the beginning of January right after I returned my GameCube console. I purchased the Xbox DVD kit about 2 months after from Amazon.com for [item price]. I already have a DVD player but I wanted this anyway. An actually it plays DVDs better then my regular DVD player. The remote is great in my opinion; it's comfortable, convenient, & filled with features.
What comes in the Kit?
The kit comes with the Xbox DVD Remote. The remote has the basic buttons; play, fast forward, rewind, play, stop, pause, up, down, left, right, select, 0-9, & menu. The remote also comes with some extras like 2x 4x, 6x, 8x, 16x, &32x Fast Forward and Rewind. It has a nice Zoom feature ranging from 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x, & 10x. A B feature is also nice to have for repetitions of a scene, click A B once for the beginning of the scene to repeat and push it one more time to end the scene, it will keep repeating until you press A B again. 2 AAA batteries are required to be purchased separately. The range of the Remote is around 20 to 25ft.
The Receiver also is required to play DVDs. The receiver is a small maybe 2 by 2 inches black square. Where does it go? It plugs into any controller port. What does it do? The Receiver activates the DVD compatibility. How does it work? Plug the Receiver into a slot while the Xbox console is turned off. Insert a DVD into the drive and the movie will automatically boot up like a normal DVD player. The kit also comes with a simple instruction booklet.
So hows the picture & sound quality...?
The quality of this product was amazingly more then I hoped for, in fact its superb! The video playback was smooth, quiet, and vivid. The sound obviously depends on the speakers you have, sounds great on my Philips surround sound stereo system.
Do I recommend this product?
YES. This kit is great even if you already have a DVD player and want another. The Remote kit also doubles as a Audio player, you can use it to playback your Mp3 files on the hard drive, no messing with cords. Remember, you mainly purchased your Xbox for gaming and the DVD playback was just an extra, a great extra at that. This Microsoft DVD kit is definitely High Quality all the way, and thats why I recommend this product.
Hopefully Helped anyone this may concern.
1) That DVD license is expensive. I'd rather have people who are going to use the XBox as a DVD player to be the ones to subsidise the cost, instead of EVERYONE having to do it, since I already have a DVD player.
2) Sony found out the hard way when they released the PS2 in Japan; a lot of people bought the console JUST for it's DVD playback features, and didn't buy games for it. Now, I'm sure a lot of you know the standard console economic paradigm: lose money on the hardware, make money on the software. Thus, Sony lost big bux when this happened. I can't blame Microsoft for wanting to make sure that doesn't happen with them.
3) This is a PROGRESSIVE SCAN DVD player, which means it's designed for higher quality pictures on HDTV. I don't believe a lot of DVD players on the market are capible of that. Seems like a good deal to me.
I've been suprisingly impressed with the XBox. The graphics are DEFINATELY a cut above the PS2 (which I also own.) I find it telling that the LAUNCH title graphics look better than Sony's latest PS2 games. The hard drive is damn convenient. If there is anything to be angry over, it's those poorly designed controllers (Hint: MadCatz makes a decent replacement.)
In the end, those who are serious about using the Sony as a DVD player are going to buy a remote control kit anyhow (I certainly did) This seems no different to me, in the long and short of it. Microsoft was upfront on the box when they said it required the additional kit. It seems to me that a lot of people giving out the one star are just general Microsoft bashers anyhow.
As mentioned by another reviewer, you can program your universal remote control with the codes for RCA DVD players and the Xbox IR receiver will respond to it. The power button on the universal remote still won't work though, because this particular button will be interpreted as the display button on the Xbox remote. Worth noting too, that my universal remote doesn't have an eject button.
A very cool feature that I found out when playing audio CDs: when the info button is pressed, the mood display in the left panel zooms in to fill the full TV screen. Instant 32" lava lamp! Kinda looks like a mood setting screensaver. Break out the candles, turn off the lights, and let Peter Gabriel crank out!
Lastly, any geek worth his remote will test this baby with the games. After all, it seems like some of the buttons in the gamepad are mapped in and have equivalent buttons in the remote, right? I popped in DOA3 and tried to control it through the remote, but alas, geek mojo ran out. The remote control does not function as a wireless gamepad.
While I loathed doing so, I eventually bought the DVD playback kit because I was going on a trip and wanted to be able to play movies and games during my down time. As it turns out, I like the Xbox so much as a DVD player that I now use it as my primary DVD player. My previous DVD player was an older model JVC and I've had tons of problems with it. It won't play some DVD's and I've had to take it to be repaired three times, twice in the first year I owned it.
I think the compaints in Amazons review are valid. The lack of an eject button or power button on the remote makes it less convenient, but I have to get up to change DVD's anyway so I don't find that much of a bother. I find the in-movie menu easy to use and an improvement over my JVC which basically makes me do the same thign when I want to change subtitles or lanuages. My biggest problem with the Xbox, and not as big as it may sound: for some reason it won't read some disks when you first put them it. This is easily cured by turning the system on and the off again, and it's only certain disks (Donnie Darko was one, Shreck was another) but I was concerned when it wouldn't read the disk and a bit irritated.
The main reson I replaced my JVC with my Xbox is that I think the picture is better, and clearer. With the HDTV cables hooked up, the picture quality on my Sony Wega is crystal clear. Good transfer DVD's like Star Wars TPM look absolutely incredible. I was really surprised at some of the cool high-end features like the ability to zoom. I can't find any documentation to prove that the Xbox is a progressive scan DVD player, but I do know that when you attach the HDTV cables you are given several options for progressive scan viewing in the video section. My TV is not HDTV compatible (although it has component hookups) and I could not play the DVD's with any of those settings. Even though I haven't read anything about it, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that this IS a progressive scan DVD player with HDTV compatibility.
While I don't think the sound is any better than my old DVD player, it's just as good whether playing Dolby surround, Dolby Digital 5.1 or DTS.
While I was originally outrgaed at having to buy the ability to do something that I think the system should already be doing (and still do) I do feel like I got my money's worth. The Xbox DVD playback far surpasses the other DVD playing game systems and even most mid to low end DVD players. The reviewers that have said they preferred the PS2 DVD playback boggle my mind. They either don't own an XBox with the full get-up or are loyal PS2 owners and want it to be true. I own a PS2 and it's far inferior when playing DVD's. Not even in the same league in this particular category. The Xbox is still the best deal on the market and is only going to get better.

Cut MS some slack people. They didn't include DVD functionality via the controllers for some very good reasons:1) That DVD license is expensive. Very functional, makes you feel like your Xbox is complete. As for the playback quality of the Xbox, couldn't tell the difference between it and the Pioneer DVC-302D that it kicked out of the shelf and being deployed to somewhere else within the house. Of course, you have to connect the Xbox to the Advanced AV pack or High Definition pack with an optical audio cable to get full Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS, and S-Video or Component video inputs as well for video. Not too shabby overall, even considering the lack of eject and power buttons that some people are complaining about. Gotta get up from the couch sometimes. Good for blood circulation. As mentioned by another reviewer, you can program your universal remote control with the codes for RCA DVD players and the Xbox IR receiver will respond to it. I was very disappointed when I found out that my Xbox did not play DVD's fresh out of the box. The growing trend of selling a system in pieces rather than shipping a complete system is one that I'm not very fond of. As much as these game systems cost, they should have everything you need right in the box. While I loathed doing so, I eventually bought the DVD playback kit because I was going on a trip and wanted to be able to play movies and games during my down time. Reviews of Medal of Honor Airborne - Xbox 360
I know a lot of gamers are getting tired of the same old and oft-repeated WW2 shooters. But the criticisms I've heard about this game hardly seem justified. The graphics are crisp with good frame rates and smooth play. The AI soldiers seem to react in a far more efficient and realistic manner. Also there are some great new wrinkles.
Two new features I love are the character and weapon development. The idea of incorporating character skill development into a WW2 shooter is fantastic, and while things like weapon upgrades aren't--of course--very realistic, they add an enjoyable new dimension to the gameplay. Also, parachuting into combat is really cool.
So far, I've found the control layout to be smooth and efficient--not always a given with this series. Another plus is the far less linear nature of the missions and combat. Instead of simply moving from point A to B and so on, you're generally just given a set of mission objectives and then left to work them out on your own--with far more opportunity for using terrain and flanking options to achieve success.
All in all, a very satisfying purchase and the first true next-gen WW2 shooter.
In order to bring something new into gameplay the creators of Airborne made the game into "open world" level maps. You begin each mission with a briefing of objectives, weapons selection followed by you jumping off a plane with a parachute. And this is where the open world concept is used; you can land anywhere on the battlefield map and engage the enemy in close combat or snipe them from afar. It is not linear like most FPS that force you to go along path to advance through the level. The way to advance in Airborne is to kill enemy germans in any of the battles taking place at the same time. If you leave an area of battle and head to a different part of the map, you will encounter more enemies and alllied bots engaging in battle.
Since there are mini battles taking place all over the map, this lets you devise a strategy for flanking enemy positions and sometimes even coming up behind them to gun them down. You can also land on roofs of houses and go jumping from one roof to the next while shooting down at the enemy positions on the ground levels. You can pick up ammo and switch to weapons dropped by dead enemies. Although you use the same basic WWII weapons found in most FPS, Airborn lets you upgrade your weapons the more you use it by killing enemies. You can get faster reloads, steady aim, bigger ammo clip and a few surprise attachements.
I know that I will get a lot of flak for this (pun intended), but even with its open world design and upgradeable weapons, MOH Airborne, did not meet my expectations for a next gen title. There are no destructible objects, multiplayer is boring, and the missions do not get my adrenaline pumping up. There is just nothing remarkable about it to justify me purchasing yet another WWII shooter when, Call of Duty is still more intense and immersive than Airborne. And consider the fact the COD is an older title.
Pros:
+open world maps
+excellent controls
+excellent music
+cool weapon upgrades
+ragdoll physics
+detailed statistics and leaderboards
Cons:
-Not as intense as COD
-another WWII shooter
-no vehicles to drive
-boring multiplayer
-weak missions in single player
There is a new twist on this as you jump out of a plane and land wherever the hell you want. Of course, this is a good and bad thing as you control where to land(always try to lend near the green smoke) though if you don't, you might be DOA because if you want to be a daredevil and land in enemy territory, the Germans will shoot as soon as you land(botched landings won't give you time to fire).
As for the gameplay itself, the AI is pretty smart. They will come chasing after you even if you cower in the corner like a little girl. There is a new way of destroying tanks as well. Gammon gernades must be found and they do A LOT of damage to the tanks but also to any German who might be in your way as well as your own men.
Airborne is not an easy game even with the easy difficulty. Prepare to die many times. The AI is smart as are your men(though sometimes they don't follow you).
Overall, there are a total of six missions including once again Operation Market Garden and the last part of this mission is a direct rip off of Call of Duty: Roads to Victory (if you played it you know what I am talking about).
All in all, Medal of Honor: Airborne is a game you should get if your a fan of the series or just plain WWII games. And though it is fairly short, it should keep you busy until Call of Duty 4 is released.
From the get-go in the plane before the first mission, one notices the superior graphics and attention to historical accuracy and detail. The ability to jump out of the plane and choose where you start the battle is simply awesome. The artificial intelligence is of the highest caliber. The game advertises that you never play the same mission the same way; they're right. You may land in the same spot twice and find that your enemy has changed position and can flank you. What's nice about this is you're actually thinking rather than automatically moving through the map shooting helpless opponents.
My only "problem" with this game is that later in playing, one opposes a "Nazi Storm Elite" soldier who is dressed in the black Schutzstaffel uniform, wearing body armor and is walking around with a MG-42 in his hands! While elite troops within the ranks of the S.S., called "Viper Troops", wore armor and were far superior to their Werhmacht counterparts, they become too frequent in the final mission and unfortunately resemble the "bosses" in either Wolfenstein 3D or Medal of Honor: European Assult. However, the satisfaction of overcoming them is quite enjoyable!
This game is terrific! The graphics are unbelievable, music is from Michael Giaochinno from MOH: Frontline, so there is that connection between the two strongest games in the series. I can't reccomend this game high enough. It's a must have!

Medal of Honor Airborne for the Xbox 360 is a WWII First Person Shooter (FPS). I have been a long time fan of the Medal of Honor series ever since I played the first one on the old Playstation system. I even enjoyed the European Assualt title and thought that the fire fights were a lot more intense than the ones in Airborne. Don't get me wrong this is a next gen game, but the matter of fact is that WWII games have been done to death. With so many great titles out there within the same genre, Airborne does not push the concept far enough to win over the competition. You are still fighting on with the same assortment of weapons (pistols, submachine guns, assualt rifles, sniper, bazzooka and a few others) you are still fighting the nazi regime, you are still running through houses for close combat and fighting outdoors in the countryside for long range combat. You are still fighting inside trenches and on top of bridges.

Medal of Honor: Airborne is the latest game in the Medal of Honor franchise and ever since it was announced, I was looking forward to it and now that it's out, was it worth the wait? It depends on weather or not your into WWII games.
Honest reviews on Medal of Honor Airborne - Xbox 360
Medal of Honor: Airborne was supposed to be released over a year ago! After the unsuccessful Rising Sun and European Assult, I honestly was not expecting much from EA Games, though I purchased the game because I'm interested in the series.

Forget Call of Duty 3. Forget scripted blah blah blah missions. Forget endless waves of drone enemies who will let you destroy divisions of them if only you had the ammo. Airborne is fantastic! Non linear boards, intelligent enemy, great weapons, beautiful looks and sound...this game has anything you would want in a WW2 shooter. I was hesitant on the upgradeable weapons, but the upgrades are all genuine components like forward pistol grips (we call them "Ghetto Grips" in the Army today), improved muzzle breaks, better sights, larger magazines, and the ability to fire a limited number of rifle grenades off some. No death rays or anything stupid like that. Very well done game. It can be quite challenging, and patience is a must in this. You can't run and gun your way to Berlin. Ill make the suggestion right off, jump with the 1903 Sniper Rifle on every mission, ditch it for a Garand or whatever else, and come back and get it when you need it. That was the only way I could get through some of those boards. Really though, it was an excellently done game that reminded me quite a bit of Band of Brothers. No moronic squad stuff, no linear missions, no "I didn't want to be here" feeling sorry for myself garbage like in the Company of Heroes. Great and challenging shooter that will not disappoint.Sunday, July 13, 2014

I got this last year and still use it. It is made too big for other controllers battery packs, and it will not charge with the Xbox charging cord-thingy. The fourth controller space lights up when you press the sync button (BUT NOT HOLD IT!). It flashes for the amount of times you pressed it. (Say I pressed it to go to setting four, it would flash four times.) It comes with a little slip of paper you shouldn't dare lose, for it says what the numbers are for and on which games. (I lost the paper and only know Black Ops is 5 and Triple Shot for every game is 8.) I would recommend this because it does not overwhelm you with settings and is pretty cool looking with the Red LEDs.Best Deals for RED LEDS Xbox 360 Rapid Fire 8 MODE Stealth WHITE Wireless

Ok, ok...I am kind of a Stitch nut, but the little blue guy is just so darn cool. The movie rules, the soundtrack rocks and this game is so much fun as well.
At first I thought that it was going to be easy and that I would finish it in not time. NOT TRUE. It is surprisingly challenging. Kids can play it and get the gist of the game, have fun and laugh along with Stitch and his crazy antics. Adults will like it because you have to get "movie reels" that you use to "buy" secrets in the game. Inter-Stitchals (the commercials used to preview the movie), scenes from the film and other goodies. These "reels" are surprisingly hard to come by...but worth the effort to collect. Collect enough to "buy" your favorite scenes from the movie...take a break from playing...and watch something funny.
The game reminds me of the "Crash Banditcoot" games for the PSOne. They are fun, challenging, but not so difficult that it alienates a whole group of players. This game is a fun romp through the universe...Stitch style. Blow stuff up...collect DNA...acquire "movie reels"...and laugh. Yep, those would be the main points of the game. Its just fun, both for kids and adults...a great addition to any game library. The control is smooth and the graphics are slick...gameplay is great and it has superb replay value. Get it...its a ton of fun.
And why complain about not dying?? That's the most stupidest backwards complaint I've ever heard! (You shouldn't be playing video games at all if you think like that backward-minded reviewer!) Not dying is something you'd WANT to have! Do not listen to the idiots that have no clue to what they are talking about (and can not even spell to save their life).
I also like how you do not run out of ammo for Stitch's blaster guns, that's great. This game is NOT real easy like many reviewers like to say. It does take some time to do and isn't easy like the Lion King game. I especially like Stitch's mutterings and laughing, etc. He's beyond adorable!

The Lilo & Stitch movie was really great & had more adult humor than most Disney flicks. This game is great & is also not much of a kids game. It has it's flaws, but I really enjoyed it. The graphics are pretty good & Stitch has quite a few moves which adds some gameplay value. Like in most 3d platformers, the camera sucks sometimes, which makes jumping & crawling a pain at spots. But the game moves really fast.. the levels are pretty different from one another & are quite lengthy. The sound is great. Voice actors from the movie are used all throughout. The music is pretty cool too but for some reason when you are swinging, the music totally stops & you have this awkward silence. The game also features great clips from the movie (25 in all i think) that keeps you playing to unlock em all. If you enjoy 3d platformers, or just need something to play until all the great games come out this fall.. i suggest pickin this one up.Best Deals for Lilo & Stitch: Experiment 626 PS2

Review of John Daly's ProStroke Golf (Compatible with Move) - Playstation 3

I think that this game is being overlooked because it is John Daly and not Tiger Woods. I have both and must say this is the one I perfer when using the Move. Tiger Woods didn't feel real. It was actually bad when using the move. Now I gave the game 4 stars becuase it has its problems. Ball aim is hard to move, graffics are alright, and the menu is very hard to navigate. But when it comes to swinging the club and feeling like an actual shot it is great. Definetly the best golf out yet for the move. Give it a try. Plus $30 is a great price for this game.
This game provides a unique golf gaming experience using the Playstation Move and I would buy it again, but only for that reason.
First, a little about TW as several mentioned that game. I haven't played with a game console since playing on a used, old Atari 5200. It has been PC games for me for a while. I finally decided to purchase this ps3 sports champion bundle w/move 2 1/2 months ago because of the versatility with internet and being game console, I won't have to reinstall all my games every time my PC acts up. I immediately bought madden 11 ($20.) and tiger 11 ($37) along with tomb raider underworld as her and Indiana Jones were fav's on my PC. I would not pay $72. for ANY game. Period. In my opinion, anyone that does, does not have their priorities straight, or plain has more $$ than they know what to do with.
I have to say. TW took a big step back. I played his golf and Microsoft linx and TW and they were much better back then as far as game play. On ms linx, I could name and save cool shots, save any # of games in mid play and had more options of swing.
On TW 11, sure, the graphics are incredible. It looks much better than any golf coarse I have ever driven by or seen on TV when flipping through the stations. Jim Nance has a great voice and that is why they pay him the big bucks.
So, if you want to make a cartoon likeness of yourself and stroll through a peaceful park while the computer plays for you, then TW is your "game".
It is not golf.
One can literally make a fabulous shot off the Tee blindfolded. Last time I checked, Ray Charles was never on any tours.
The greens are also ridiculously bumpy on that game, making the putting harder than it should be and are super fake. So if WATCHING the computer play mostly by itself with a neat picture is your bag, play TW, if you really want to feel like you are on the Linx, John Daly is the stuff you want. The putt looks, reacts, and 'feels' way more like an actual putt on this Daly game than the tw.
I read some negative comments that I just couldn't understand why.
One saying the graphics on this Daly game are poor. No, they are nice. They are realistic enough to really enjoy the game. TW is spectacular and that is where the money and effort went into. In fact, that is the one and only thing TW has going for it.
I read a comment about the player customizing. there are tons of clothing options for the players in this game. Way more than TW. Even a glove that can be worn on either hand. Either way, does it really matter?
Someone else said that the volume didn't work properly. I guess they listened to people since those reviews were written as the clothing and sound work nice. But you know, who cares either way? With some games you need volume to know what is going to happen. With golf, I turn the volume off and crank some Steely Dan, Rolling Stones, or Neil Young or Greg Allman..
Same with the ads. There are a few billboards with I guess the name of the production company. They look natural. I may not have even noticed if not for reading comments.Maybe they listened her too, as there were none on the bottom of screen. Maybe the makers listened here too.
On that subject, with TW you have to sit for an eternity of self promotion for a game you already bought.
It is OK the first time, but every time you load it? Come on!
And if you want to go to a different menu or edit a player, you must restart and suffer through it again.
Pitiful.
I often like to play a hole or two, save and come back to it later. By the time TW loads, I am already bored of the game.
It doesn't even let you do something else while it gets ready as it makes you take a demo shot. Insulting.
About this Daly game's play itself, which is what should really matter to a person instead of clothing options and leaves blowing in the flower scented breeze.
The one and only negative is adjusting where you hope to land the ball with the move controller. It IS still extremely touchy as another person mentioned. I am hoping I can figure out how to make aiming adjustments with the navigation controller. In all fairness, it did get a bit easier after a few holes and TW has the same problem, although not quite as touchy.Maybe some feedback and they make a patch for the Nav control if it does not already work with it?!? I tried utilizing it mid-game. If I get it to work, I will edit this critique.
I first played a practice 3 holes with my duel shock controller and it was a nice practice mode. Excellent options. After every shot, it gave me the option of trying the shot again or going on. I like that very much. I might want to try a particular shot 10 times or so and experiment with different options under the same condition to figure things out.
I intended to play 3 holes with the move control, but before I knew it, I was on the 7th hole.
Let me tell you. Boy do I suck at it. Both ways. It is very challenging. There are a lot of options for the swing, stance, club, and so on.With the move control, I kept hitting too hard. Just like in real golf. Not with the putts or drives, but chipping, mostly. It will take getting to know the system. Just like in the real game.
Look at it like chess and checkers. Checkers can be learned in a few minutes, but once you learn chess, is way more interesting. I use that analogy when people try to say that soccer or baseball is better than football. :) (In real life, not the video games)
To get the hang of this game, you actually have to read the directions. TW is so simplified, it doesn't even come with directions. At least read enough to learn that there are three difficulty levels and within them are three swing sensitivity levels you can choose from..
PLUS, there are visual tutorials that teach you how to make all the cool shots you want to learn to make.
Click on the L2 for yellow tracer and see what the ball will do as you move the stance and club controls around. This game is sweet!!
Putting some spin on the ball and curving around the trees on a dogleg is fun and can make the difference between par and birdie. or, in my case, between double and triple bogey! Yes, the game is hard. Golf is hard. If a challenging game is exciting to you, then this is it.
I intend to learn the fine points so my pals will have to buy the refreshments every time when we play. A fancy "lucky" move here and there at critical times should do it.
This can be considered a golf simulator, and a pretty nice one at that. I would have given it 4 stars because of the sensitivity in pointing the move controller and aiming where you want the ball to go, but after harsh reviews because the game is too real, I had to bump it up to 5 as some of the reviews are not fair to the creator or to you.
Did I read that right? Did someone actuallyput the game down because it is too good? Too real?
Just because one person isn't happy unless they get an eagle every hole, doesn't mean a game is not great.
Sounds like a person that throws their clubs in real life.
In fact, the difficulty is what makes it great as THAT is the game of golf. I look forward to getting more familiar with the features and also how hard to swing when chipping as well as the coveted fade, draw techniques. this is gonna be soooo cool.
My "new" batman asylum has plenty of competition. which is good. Don't want to get sick of any game. They have more re-playability than if we burn out on em.
In conclusion, the guy put alot into this game. I bought a copy from Webs best Deals through Amazon for $14.50 (including shipping), used in very good (looks new to me) condition. Can't beat that with a stick. After the what seems to be standard 2-3 day wait for them to ship it, seems like 2-3 weeks when waiting for them to send it) it got here in 2 days instead of the 2 week estimate. New egg ships lightning quick, but the games are about twice as much. I am sure I will play TW with my dual shock controller upon occasion, but I regret paying so much and would never have if I had found this first. Live and learn, right?!? Hope this helped someone out there.
--(UPDATE)--
They just released 4 FREE Downloadable Golf Courses from PSN on PS3! They seem to be even better than the original golf courses! Very cool!
I play golf in real life and I know what a 40-80-120-175 yard shot should feel like and it does it perfectly almost! The distances are amazing! TW is Horrible compared to this. It's like they just threw it in there with no feel and control. In JD on Tour Pro setting I hit the ball almost exactly where I want every time! It really feels natural! It feels like my actual Swing!!! Hitting Punch shots is really cool. You can close the club face on shorter shots to hit it longer and lower just like in real life! Every move in JD has an effect on the ball!! Chipping the ball is captured perfectly too!!
I LOVE how you DON"T have to hold the trigger in to swing. You just press the Move button once!
(TOUR PRO is EXTREMELY HARD so DON"T use it if you can't swing great!) Use the Pro Middle Setting
--The Ball physics are great and realistic.
The advertisements don't bother me as they are not really in the way of anything, on signs on the course just like any other golf game.
My Overall Summary
Playing with the move is amazing here!. This is by far the best Move experience I have played (hitting shots).
I HIGHLY Recommend it!
If you want a Golf Game for the Move, THIS IS IT!!!!!
Yesterday I decided to give it another spin. I actually was looking forward to playing again today. One reason I like the game is the tee shot. It is rather difficult for me to hit a straight shot every time, contrary to TW. Just like my real golf game, unpredictable. If I swing 100 percent I will either fade or slice the ball, just as in real life. Changing your stance helps. I like the unpredictability.
Graphics are just good enough not to be obviously bad. The announcers are rather poor but goofy and amusing at times. Once you learn the adjustments, setup, options, etc, the game is kind of a hoot.
Putting is rather difficult. As it should be! I guess that is why I like this game ... it is a challenge to score well.
I never thought I would put a positive spin on this game!

I purchased this game to use with the Playstation Move controller. The Move controller integration works well with the game and has different difficulty settings so any skill level player could enjoy the game. On the highest difficulty setting I hit much worse in the game than I did in real golf. On the medium difficulty setting the game showed similar results to my real golf game (which isn't all that great). Swinging with the Move controller feels similar to a real golf swing especially when placing a golf ball on the floor to use as a reference. I would like to read a review from a more knowledgeble golfer about the likelihood of improving a golf swing by playing this game. The disappointing part of the game is everything else. The graphics aren't very good compared to the Tiger Woods PGA 2011 golf game and the golf courses don't look that great either. Also the announcers make the same comments over and over. This game provides a unique golf gaming experience using the Playstation Move and I would buy it again, but only for that reason.

-The Best Move Controlled Golf Game Period!!--(UPDATE)--
They just released 4 FREE Downloadable Golf Courses from PSN on PS3!

I first bought this 6 months ago at Best Buy because I really wanted to play a different golf game. I knew I was risking my money. Played for a couple of days and pretty much determined that the game was poor, just as I expected.Yesterday I decided to give it another spin.
