I bought this game for my 9 year old daughter for her birthday. After I gave it to her I didn't see her for quite awhile. She is still heavily playing it after several days. Her 11 year old sister likes it too. The pets are adorable like the toys and the animation is wonderful. You unlock pets and mini games and items as you go along through the game. This game has a lot of variety. My daughter enjoys the coloring game. You play the games and get awarded ribbons and kibbles as points. There seem to be quite a few games to keep the kids interested. You can name the pets as you unlock them and try to collect them all. New locations are unlocked too. I would recommend this no fighting, non violent kids game, especially if your kids are or were into the Littlest Pet Shop toys. There are play sets to play on and different areas to explore. It's a neat little game that employs many different challenges and activities in a fun atmosphere.
If I ever get the chance I am going to spend some time playing it too!
* pick and name and dress up a bunch of littlest pets
* Coloring (a game where points (kibble) are awarded for how closely you can match the example). Not only do little ones have to stay in the lines, they must pick colors and pen widths from a simple menu.
* Treasure hunt (you move around over a little meadow and dig looking for easter eggs.
* lots more and more games and new pets are unlocked as kids work their way through.
The graphics are really nice and the overall tone is sweet, nice, and non-violent.
I tried playing with it myself, and though it is super cute, I think it's too simple a game for teens and adults. One thing I don't like about it is that you can't choose which pets you want, they give random pets to you at certain intervals. Also, there isn't much to do with your pets except dress them up. The games are not challenging enough for adults to play. I got bored with it fifteen minutes into the game.
Cute game, but I wouldn't buy it unless it's for someone 7 years old and under.
That said, I can understand how older kids and adults might not find this game as fun as other games out there. But for the time being, while my daughter still finds it fun, I'd defintely say it's a keeper.

My little 5 year old daughter used to fight with her 8 year old brother for the gameboy. Eventually we bought her her own but she never seemed to enjoy the games as much as her brother. Many DS games are too hard for little kids and most involve reading. Lately my daughter has been playing with littlest pet shop toys so it seemed like a really likely choice for a DS game she would enjoy all on her own. Sure enough it keeps her interest and she really enjoys it. Littlest Pet Shop: Winter has reading so little ones will need some help getting started. But there are lots of simple activities and games well pitched to small children that hold their interest once they get in such as* pick and name and dress up a bunch of littlest pets

My daughter likes the Littlest Pet Shop toys so I bought her this game for X-mas. She played with it for a few days but then got bored with it. She told me the games were too easy and there wasn't much else to do. She's very experienced with video games for her age (7 years old) so perhaps that has something to do with it. I think a younger child or one her age that isn't familiar with video games will like it.I tried playing with it myself, and though it is super cute, I think it's too simple a game for teens and adults. This was purchased as a gift for a 4 year old. she loves it and can use it well. There are a lot of fun things to do with this game. Select pets, buy gear, collect coins to buy more stuff. It's fun, fun fun.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Littlest Pet Shop: Winter - Nintendo DS
My daughter got a DS for Christmas last year and this game was the first game she opened. Once she got the hang of the DS and the game, she loved being able to go through the different tasks and unlocking the various animals. 2 months later, she's still playing it quite a bit she'd actually spend hours playing it if I would let her. The game is easy enough for her to go through the various activities and follow the directions without getting frustrated, but yet not too simple that she gets bored with it.That said, I can understand how older kids and adults might not find this game as fun as other games out there. But for the time being, while my daughter still finds it fun, I'd defintely say it's a keeper.

OK, the game itself isn't that bad. Despite the cheesy graphics and goofy storyline, the music is actually OK.
My bad review is on the instrument peripherals.
The airstrike drums are completely frustrating and UNfun. They don't register hits half the time. You're not actually playing drums, you're striking the air with the drumsticks. The IR sensor has to be exactly aligned with the drum sensors and you have to "shake" it to get it to register the hit. It definitely does not feel like you're really playing drums. Do yourself a favor, use a Rock Band drum kit.
And then the "real guitar." It really is technically a real guitar, that you can use to play this game. But it's mostly a gimmick-don't expect to actually learn how to play guitar. This is a rhythm game just like guitar hero, except you're using a real guitar with strings instead of a plastic guitar with buttons.
The only addition is the option to play "power chords". The game uses a whopping TWO power chords-one uses two fingers and one uses one finger-and the fingering is exactly the same no matter where it's played on the fretboard. A monkey can learn how to do that.
Actually playing the song with the power chord option, I did not find to be very much fun either.
If you want to learn real guitar skills I suggest you get Rock Band 3 and buy the pro guitar peripheral.
Moving on to the guitar portion, the game opens up (WITH the six string guitar.) I am almost ashamed to say :P that I haven't even gone through the story mode (yet?). When I was playing this more, I kept doing Quick Play to up my difficulty level since Expert (Expert+ on drums) is nothing difficult on the other rhythm games out there. This being said, I'm only comfortable at the middle (3rd) difficulty with Chord mode activated. There are five difficulty levels also with the option of "Chord Mode."
Where this game excels is the element of challenge it brings as it takes some major time and practice. I can comfortably say that it would take at least months to get good scores on chord mode at the highest difficulty. There are more than two variations of "power chords" that one reviewer mentioned. An example of a note you would play (with Chord mode activated) is you with a finger on the 1st string for green and second finger on the 2nd string for red while you strum the 2nd and 3rd string simultaneously. This probably sounds a bit confusing, and it's even more so when playing. This is just challenging playing at a higher difficulty level while progressing through a song. A good note is that (at least I know of in Quick Play) you're not able to "Fail" a song where the song simply quits playing and you're forced to replay. Play bad...don't play at all...regardless you're able to complete the song without having to constantly retry like the less-recent rhythm titles.
With the combination of notes and chords, this also adds two other "colors" being utilized in play. The last color you expect on the guitar is orange which is true for a single note, but when you add chords into the picture you're forced to go even further right towards the head. This adds almost a second green and red (following to the right of orange). I have only played the songs that are unlocked by default without going through the story mode, but I am surprisingly happy with these. This game does not copy sings off of each other like the GH and RB songs. This game's soundtrack used its songs before RB/GH released them as DLC (downloadable content.) These are originals (not covers) and surprise you with how well they were selected.
The six string guitar can also be used for the Guitar Hero (GH) and Rock Band (RB) games as well which adds difficulty as finger positioning for notes is more spaced out. All in all, this game is cheap and is for people looking for a challenge or people looking for a feel of an actual guitar. This game won't teach you how to play, but will get you acquainted and a nice feel for if you ever were to move up and play the real deal. Buy this now low-priced game for a challenge and only if you're getting the six-string guitar as well. Thanks for reading my wall.
Pros: some good songs not available on other games. Appears to have a storyline (so far feels a little like GH: warriors of rock).
Cons: gameplay isnt that great it's different from what I'm used to. hitting the notes is touchier so it's telling me I'm missing when I don't feel like i am notes are smaller so calibration is essential, and their calibration system is lacking.
BOTTOM LINE: if you are really into music games and have patience, or you know someone who hasn't gotten into RB/GH, then this may work if its cheap enough.
The playability is horrible, the compatibility with guitars is annoying, the remainder of the songs suck...
Never again,,, just another disk for the shelf...

I don't know if I'd call this a review, but I created this simply because the only two other current reviews I think are a bit unfair. Before moving on, do NOT buy the band version/drum set. This is probably the worst idea for a rhythm game of all time. Hitting air? Really? I haven't tried, but supposedly you're able to use a GH or RB drum set. I also have not tried the singing portion, but I can't see how it could be any better or more lacking than the other popular franchises out there.Moving on to the guitar portion, the game opens up (WITH the six string guitar.) I had been holding off on this game but I saw it on sale much cheaper somewhere else (sorry Amazon) so I picked it up. It's got some different songs than RB (Rock Band)/GH (Guitar Hero) so I figured I'd give it a whirl. And it said it was compatible with RB/GH controllers, so win-win right?Pros: some good songs not available on other games. Cheap Killer Instinct
This game had more combos then Mortal Kombat it should have been remember now. I wish they were still making games of this on PS2. You can make the fighters fight faster by holding down all the buttons when you pick your fighter and when they have on the screen your fighter vs the computer to tell that it worked it will make a punching sound. The computer always tell you how many combos you made in other words how many hits. The most hit is the altra which has 24 hits, thats the finishing one. My favorite fighters are Spinal, Fulgore, B. Orchid, Jago, Combo, Thunder, Saberwolf, Raptor, Cinder. This game makes the Street Fighter games on Super NES look like a pre school game.
I am not disappointed. Although it's been many years since I've played Killer Instinct, it holds its own even against modern fighters like Mortal Kombat Armageddon, Soul Calibur II, and Guilty Gear XX Accent Core.
Each character has several special moves at their disposal, and they have quick/medium/fierce punches and kicks. The combos you can link are absolutely insane, and unlike any I have ever seen. There are also No Mercies which are like the fatalities of Mortal Kombat that can be used for a really cool finish once your opponent is on their last breath. You can also perform Ultra combos that reach over 20 hits in a row at a minimum! Also, Ultimate combos are executed when you do a regular combo, put the opponent to zero HP (at which time you can still continue the combo if you so choose), and then perform the No Mercy at the end. The smooth motions are fun to watch as you string a variety of moves together to perform insane assaults on your opponent.
The graphics are awesome for the SNES. The characters look really cool, and the enviornments are beautiful. Killer Instinct has some great music too. If you get the CD with the game, Killer Cuts, you'll be able to hear better/fleshed out version of the songs. It doesn't get any better!
The game supports an Arcade mode in which you fight all of the characters in succession and ultimately fight the boss of the game, Eyedol. A training mode is available, as well as 2 player mode and a tournament mode for multiple players. There are 6 difficulty levels, but none of them are particularly easy. This game is definitely for skilled gamers or those who are willing to put in the effort to learn the game. From the first opponent in the arcade mode you have to put up a serious fight to attain victory.
I love how complex the combo system is, and the challenge level (although sometimes frustrating) really motivates me to get better and better. If you want a deep fighting game with great mechanics, cool characters, and is a true classic, then this game is for you. This was a gem that no fan of fighting games should pass up.

Well, i know that i am not a boy, but i am a tomboy, and this game is the best one that ive got. i cant wait to get home from school every day just so that i can play Killer Instinct. My boyfriend gave this game to me only a week ago, but the 1st time that i played it, i just got attached. so he gave the game to me, and i still havent tired of playing it, and usually im tired of a game after like, 3 days. the game is very interesting, and im learning new combos every day. this is the kind of game that just does not get old!!! the game is very challenging, and it is very cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Honest reviews on Killer Instinct
This awesome fighting game came free with the SNES my mother bought for my brother and myself many years ago. Unfortunately, she would only let us play the game once a week for one hour because of the violence. We loved the game so much, but for some reason (probably because we were tired of only being able to play once a week) we ended up selling it to our neighbor and never saw it again. However, I recently ordered it from Amazon so I can relive the thrill.I am not disappointed. Although it's been many years since I've played Killer Instinct, it holds its own even against modern fighters like Mortal Kombat Armageddon, Soul Calibur II, and Guilty Gear XX Accent Core.

i got this game as soon as i could because ive been closely following its development since i first heard about it two months ago. seeing screenshots and reading the previews only brought images of grand turismo and my favorite of all racing games, tokyo extreme racer zero.
the game is beautiful. the courses are gorgeous. the cars are realistic. blah blah blah, youve heard it before and you will hear it again.
the gameplay? its very fun and challenging. Apex, however, is by no means a driving sim. true, the engine sounds are very close to their real world counterparts, and the licensed cars are meticulously cloned, but the driving is very biased, and elementary. but its very fun. imagine ridge racer with grand turismos looks. this is something that will split gamers opinions.
Apex, does have one big, and nearly fatal flaw. its AI. its the one AI in the playground that doesnt play well with others --that means you. ive played the game for 15+ hours now and i gotta say, getting started was extremely tough and the AI can become nausiatingly frustrating. if you show signs that youll ever have to attend anger management classes, consider Apex a rental first...youll save yourself a lot of money, because i was on the verge of throwing my xbox out the window. first of all, the CPU will never spin out. NO MATTER WHAT, THE CPU WILL NEVER EVER SPIN OUT. you may be able to get in front of a car and pin him against something else, but that almost never happens. second, if youre trailing, either the car in front of you will use his nitrous oxide tanks (which you dont get as far as i know) and will leave you in its rear view mirror, or get right in front of you to make passing very difficult. dont think of making the slightest mistake like a late breaking manuver, or the cars you thought were 4 seconds behind you will come out of nowhere (whoever was in charge of creating the AI should me smacked)
the music is boring and forgetable...some sort of generic, ambient, jazz techno...i dont know. but the sound effects are a lot better. their what youd expect, which is good engine noise.
despite Apex's AI with a god complex, you cant deny the unique gameplay, or its enthralling nature. from the start i was immersed and couldnt get enough. you get to name your company and choose a logo for it. the characters you hire for your production company are all charasmatic and quirky (as charasmatic and quirky as game characters get).
personally, i think rallisport challenge is the ultimate xbox driving game. the graphics are very detailed, and even ambiant at times (but you knew this). and the gameplay is a lot better. but what apex has that rallisport doesn't, is a very personal element that more than makes up for the things it falls short on.
oh yea, this game would have been rad with xbox live support.
** i recommend this game to anyone, even non racing fans, but if you are at all easily irritated, rent first**
It has a really great feature. You get this run down metal shack. As you win races and do well this building changes. Constant upgrades and soon you can have a complex. That coupled with personalities within. The builder, the designer, the pretty secretary and sales all goes towards adding that something extra. The cars themselves have 3 levels with the end one fully decked out in racing colors. you get to chose which cars are built. This made the game immensly fun.
But where it really counts the game falls short. The racing. Yes the speed is there. But I found it very hard to win races and I am not a bad racer. The other cars do not spin out and anytime you connect with them they will get the better of it. You can hit thier front bumper with your rear and they will slide infront. It can be extremly hard to catch the leaders and you will always start in last place and have to race through the field.
I like to race clean. I like to race and not have to bang off other cars. But that is not possible in this game. I found more often than not that the only way to get in front was to wait till they were braking at a slow corner and ram them to brake.
For all the good of this game it just keeps falling short. A tragedy really as this game was so close to being the most fun I have had in a car game since Gran Turismo 1.
But--and this is a big one--even though the game *looks* very realistic, the gameplay is not. Not at all. Specifically, the game is constantly adjusting the other cars based on *your* performance. If you wreck badly and travel the wrong way, you can easily (very easily) turn around and catch right back up with the pack. As soon as you catch up to them, they start moving faster again.
That by itself might not be too bad, but the opposite thing happens, too. If you work your way into first place, the other cars will virtually always remain right on your tail--no matter what you do. The computer *adjusts* them to make sure they are right behind you. If you edge onto the shoulder for just a moment, expect to be passed by one car. If you get all 4 tires off the track, expect to be passed by at least a couple of cars.
So, the cars you are racing perform, not based on their stats or characteristics, but on *your* performance. Essentially, having a superb 3rd lap will guarantee that you will be passed lap 4, even if you are near perfect. The incentive--don't do *too* well until the last lap.
In most races, there ends up being less than one second difference in the top three spots. No doubt the designers thought this approach would make the game competive for all skill levels. And no doubt they thought it would make the game more exciting to always have the cars so close. But, really, it's more like being punished for doing well. (Lightly graze your bumper on the final turn... expect to fall into 3rd, 4th or 5th place.)
They have this disclaimer when the game starts: "Results of the game will only reflect the ability of the player." Why would they feel the need to say that?
The only time I was ever able to pull more than a few car lengths ahead was at the end of the Roadster level. On the track with the very long straight-ways, I was able to get significantly ahead. (My car's top speed was then apparently greater than the top speed of all others.)
For the record, I've played through Project Gotham *twice* and I've got over 260,000 Kudos. I breezed through Sega GT 2002 in a couple of days. I think I've got reasonable "ability". Sorry Apex, close but no cigar.
Ok, I'm done. :-)
2 thumbs up to Atari and Milestone for a fantastic racer.

despite Apex's AI with a god complex, you cant deny the unique gameplay, or its enthralling nature. from the start i was immersed and couldnt get enough. you get to name your company and choose a logo for it. the characters you hire for your production company are all charasmatic and quirky (as charasmatic and quirky as game characters get).
personally, i think rallisport challenge is the ultimate xbox driving game. the graphics are very detailed, and even ambiant at times (but you knew this). and the gameplay is a lot better. but what apex has that rallisport doesn't, is a very personal element that more than makes up for the things it falls short on.
oh yea, this game would have been rad with xbox live support.
** i recommend this game to anyone, even non racing fans, but if you are at all easily irritated, rent first**

When I first loaded this game it looked great. The graphics are extremly good. The feeling of speed is there and both the tracks and cars are very detail. it works alot to drag you into feeling like racing.
Best Deals for Apex (Xbox)
Apex definitely has a lot going for it: excellent racetracks, stunning graphics, great car control, custom soundtracks and cheesy-but-fun characters to "interact" with.But--and this is a big one--even though the game *looks* very realistic, the gameplay is not.
Honest reviews on Apex (Xbox)
"APEX Racing" for the XBOX is deep. There's not one negative thing I could say about it. Lavishly smooth graphics with NO slowdown. That's always a plus in my book. The cars handle great. I love how the car never feels like it's going to spin into a fish-tail at every turn like many racing games. While it's a bit arcadish, it still has a fantastic feel to it. Lastly, there's 54 tracks(as it claims on the back of the game case). I'm sick of spending a fortune on a race game, only for it to have 8 or 12 tracks. I have a feeling I'll be playing this one for awhile.2 thumbs up to Atari and Milestone for a fantastic racer.

Discount HDE Wireless Receiver compatible w/ Xbox 360 controller to PC
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $25.99
Sale Price: $12.99
Today's Bonus: 50% Off

These instructions are for Windows 7 64-bit specifically
Do not even take the disc they give you with the receiver out of the bag... it's worthless.
Google "xbox 360 controller pc driver" and the first hit should be a link to the official Microsoft page for the Xbox 360 Controller for Windows.
Under the Support tab you can download the official software, which does work with this HDE 360 Receiver and gives you the on screen display and shows your battery level remaining, etc, just like on the 360 console.
Once the official software has been installed...
Plug in wireless receiver to your PC
Open Device Manager
Right-click "Unknown device" > "Update Driver Software"
"Browse my computer for driver software"
"Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
Highlight "Show All Devices" > Click Next
WAIT... it may take a second to load if your PC is slow
Under Manufacturer select "Microsoft"
Under Model select "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows Version: 2.1.0.1349 [8/13/2009]"
Click Next
When you get prompted for the Update Driver Warning click "Yes"
When you right-click and open Properties on the receiver in Device Manager, open the Driver tab and you should see the following:
Driver Provider: Microsoft
Driver Date 8/13/2009
Driver Version: 2.1.0.1349
THAT was the key for my installation on Windows 7 64-bit, the default driver it was finding before was dated 2006 and did NOT work even though it did recognize the receiver.
Once your receiver is working, click the sync button on both the receiver and your wireless 360 controller and you should see a pop up from your System Tray about "USB Input Device" was detected... your controller is now synced.
If you open the Game Controllers menu under Control Panel you should now see the 360 receiver listed, and you can click Properties and verify visually that all buttons, thumb-sticks, etc are working properly and you can even perform calibration of the analog inputs should they need it but I wouldn't bother unless you notice an issue.
For $12'ish shipped this is an excellent value IF it keeps working long term I will be very happy. Microsoft did not stop making the official receiver, they just decided to stop selling it individually. You have to buy the bundle with a new controller, which was foolish of them in my honest opinion and why you see all these knock-off's online.
I had previously been using my PS3 controller on my PC via a software called "DS3 Tool" by "MotionJoy" which you can look up online as well... even works with BlueTooth supposedly. A good alternative if you already have a PS3 controller because no dongle is required and the "DS3 Tool" software is completely free.
I hope this review was helpful for anyone hesitant to give this a try or having issues with the receiver driver installation.
EDIT 01/06/13 I've been using it for a few months now with zero issues, thing works like a charm. Also thanks everyone for responding that these instructions were helpful, and I took note of some suggestions and modified the above instructions to reflect that the official M$ driver / software should be installed before you do anything.
I've been using this dongle to rock the new Steam Big Picture mode and it works perfectly... :)

My product came in the mail in about 3-5 days. Really fast and in perfect condition. It works perfectly with Steam Big Picture mode and flawless with XPadder. Be sure to give the original guide poster credit too!
EDIT: Got it working under Win 8, 64-Bit, but it's still somewhat of a pain. Here are the steps:
1) Install Microsoft's 360 controller software. If you Google "microsoft 360 drivers" it will be the second hit from the top.
2) With receiver plugged in, go to Device Manager > Other Devices.
3) You should see an Unknown Device. Uninstall its drivers.
4) Unplug receiver, then plug it back in.
5) You should see the same Unknown Device reappear under Other Devices.
6) Update Drivers for Other Device.
7) Select "Browse my computer for device software" then "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
8) Choose Microsoft as the manufacturer, then look towards the bottom of the list for "Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows" and install the software.
9) At this point (hopefully) you should be able to sync the devices together.
Note that if you disconnect the receiver you will need to redo the steps above. So yeah, I can confirm that it does work under Windows 8.

Does not work in Windows 8, which seems to be a common complaint. After 2 hours of searching forums and continually deleting and reinstalling drivers, I'm officially done trying.EDIT: Got it working under Win 8, 64-Bit, but it's still somewhat of a pain. Here are the steps:

Discount The Karate Kid
This stinks to high heaven. The gameplay is absolutley terrible. All you do in this pixelated platform 8-bit mess,is jump around kicking bad guys, dodging opstacles and playing stupid little mini games, like chopping little blocks of ice,or catching flies with chop sticks. This game is a HUGE WASTE OF TIME.Play a different game,go read a book, watch a movie.Do ANYTHING except play this BS.
Stage 1: The tournament. Believe it or not, I beat everybody without getting hurt by simply kicking. As a matter of fact, I do not believe that I ever punched in the entire game. It's been kick...kick...kick...kick...and kick. Don't waste the Crane Kicks in this one. All you have to do is push Forward + B to conserve the Cs.
Stage 2: Same thing as before. Kick, kick, kick, kick, and more kick. Every time I go to a bonus room, I feel like LJN has a fetish for swinging hammers. A lot of times, I don't even bother going into the bonus rooms. Now, this is the point where you can make the game easy or hard on you, and I will tell you how to beat the game so painlessly. Find a spot where you can do back and forth without a problem. Now, stay there for a while without advancing to the next screen scroll-wise. Keep killing all the enemies that come to you. Grab the C every 4 kills. Continue until you got like at least 60 of them. It can be boring...yeah, but it's a surefire way to win the game. Also, it helps you to gain lives (what the hell with the chances??) per 20,000 points. The best part of the Cs is that they boost the health by a couple of points. When you get bored of farming for Cs, continue to the right and kick your way out of the *blows raspberries* final boss.
Stage 3: This stage is the hardest of the game because it's a lot of work. Same tactics as before: find a spot and work for more Cs. Then, go forward. Every time you see a gap, I recommend not drive forward as you can because as soon as you do that, the enemy tends to jump from right side and kick you, being forced to fall about 10 feet away into the gap. So, time the movements well and jump over the gaps without being interfered with. There is a series of gaps in the middle of the game which can be mastered. As soon as you get to the bottom and you clear the enemies out, start going forward as fast as you can. Eventually, you will finally get out of it. This stage is a lot of work, but with some simple adjustments, you will find this part not so bad at all. Finally, you will meet the final boss, but forget him...just jump up the tree and reach for the girl. Stage over, no fight, easy peasy.
Stage 4: Now, you will finally understand why I said that you need to farm for many Cs and accumulate them as much as you can without spending them in the past three stages. The enemies are much harder to take out with simple kicks; however, by landing a crane kick on them, they disappear right away. Keep doing that all the way to the right; forget the bonus rooms. Just keep moving forward to the right as fast as you can. Finally, the final boss, if you have some Cs left, waste them on him, and the game is over. You won!
Despite what people think, The Karate Kid is an ultra easy game. All in all, The Karate Kid is a terrible game with no replayability value, and I actually hated the movie more.
FIRST STAGE:Karate Tornament.JUST MASH THE B BUTTON AND YOU WILL NEVER GET HARMED.Pathetic.
SECOND STAGE: Moves from fighter to platforming beat um up. REPETITIVE. BOSS: Again, mash B.
THIRD STAGE: Gets very hard. Never passed. MANY PITS,AND ENIMIES,BIRDS,FLYING TWIGS AND THE WIND ITSELF KNOCKS YOU INTO THEM.
There are also 3 minigames and a Vs.mode.
CATCH THE FLIES:BORING
HAMMER SWING:EXTREMELY HARD

Ah yes...LJN. That company is notorious for making bunch of the worst NES games ever in history. I do not believe a single game from them has been a good one. And The Karate Kid is no exception. The first reason is the controls. They are pretty bad. If you had played Double Dragon and made a transition to The Karate Kid, you'll find it a weird one. The Up button is for jump, and doing that makes the gaming experience during stage 3 very annoying. The second reason is that there is no variation nor creativity during all of the stages. And third reason, a lot of times, you had no idea what to do. Now, let's go to each stage of The Karate Kid:Stage 1: The tournament. Believe it or not, I beat everybody without getting hurt by simply kicking. As a matter of fact, I do not believe that I ever punched in the entire game. This game takes a while to master, especially the side-scrolling sequences. For a Nintendo game, this wasn't bad, it just took some patience because in the side-scrolling game, you had to earn power-ups to be able to perform special moves, but if you moved through the levels patiently (enemies could jump out) the game was easy enough to beat. This game is about the second Karate Kid film, not the first, and you fight Chozen in here.Wednesday, November 5, 2014

I'll do a somewhat quick run down of what there is to do in UFC Undisputed 3.
You have your standard exhibition mode where you can choose UFC rules or Pride rules. Being a fan of MMA you should already know the differences. Anyways, when choosing Pride for instance it isn't 100% open weight but you can choose Ex: BJ Penn (UFC) vs Anderson Silva (Pride/UFC). Fighters that fought in each organization will be featured in both, for instance Wanderlei Silva has a higher overall rating in Pride than he does in the UFC. And Anderson Silva has a lower overall rating in Pride than he does in the UFC. Also, you can choose either rule set then (UFC/Pride) then choose fighters from either. The entrances and locations are also different and the Pride entrances are badass!
Then you can either create your own event/ tournament or play in actual ones Ex: Play the main card of UFC 115 etc.
Create a fighter is pretty in depth with the customization abilities. The biggest is obviously the face and facial features. Then you have body build, hair, tattoos, stance, fighting back ground, age, height etc.
Career mode, you start out with creating a fighter. Your first few fights you are given instructional tips (from Mike Goldberg) on camps, training, sponsors, choosing fights, rankings etc. As you work your way up in your division (choose while creating your fighter) you earn title shots and options to fight for bigger organizations eventually ending up in the UFC. You are able to move up and down one division to earn multiple title shots as well.
Classic fights modes is pretty cool, Ex: Rampage Jackson vs Wanderlei Silva, you are given certain tasks for the fighter you select during the fight to complete (don't get taken down for 1:00, land 20 strikes, don't take more then 5 strikes etc.) upon completing them you unlock videos and progress towards achievements for your gamerscore.
Highlite reel modeBasically a theater mode where you can create videos of cool KOs, takedowns, submissions or whatever else you can think of. You can share these with all other gamers then they can be rated 0/5-5/5 stars. And you can also make highlites with multiple fighters.
The graphics are excellent, all fighters look very realistic and move and act just like they do in real life. Whether it's JDS's uppercut, Bones Jones spinning elbows, Anderson Silvas front kicks or GSPs ground and decisions (IM JUST KIDDING :P); they are all very realistic.
New improvements and some changes are more usuage of the cage and an entirely new submission set up of 'Chasing the submission', I wasn't a fan of it but you'll get used to it. And there's also different control sets, can't really remember what they were called maybe rookie and veteran but basically rookie is push up or down to advance in transitions and veteran would be flick and rotate to advance.
I'm sure I forgot a few things, but fopefully this review helps!
UFC Undisputed 3 carries with it a solid amount of content. There is the standard exhibition fights in UFC or Pride, Career, Title, Tournament, and Event modes along with Online which are all pretty straight forward in what they offer.
The Ultimate Fights mode is intriguing in that they attempt to recreate popular fights from the past while including video packages about them. There are tasks set up to complete throughout the fight at specific times and a percentage grade is given based on how much is achieved. It can be tough to fight in that manner though trying to complete the tasks rather than just do what is necessary to win doesn't feel completely natural or even necessarily make sense contextually at a given time. Career mode has stripped out frustrating elements while pushing the focus more on the fights and progression making that much more enjoyable.
Pride is a blast and a valuable addition to the series. Everything from the presentation to the varied rule sets and unique venue make it a lot of fun to play. It won't at all be surprising if fans tend to prefer playing in Pride vs UFC. Presenation has been enhanced elsewhere too and the new camera angle, though not going to feel drastically different, does bring the action much closer and the perspective works well for the fights.
Gameplay wise there isn't much to gripe about at least on the surface. Refs tend to stand up fighters a bit early this was probably done on purpose rather than just becoming an unexpected issue as maybe casual types don't want to be stuck maneuvering on the ground with little success whether they're on the offensive or stuck blocking transitions. Ultimately though the big problem comes down to the flawed submission system which, going back to E3 last year, was the most cited gripe with the game and for good reason.
What amounts to a mini-game of `cat and mouse' not only takes the user's eyes off the fighters in these critical moments but the success of submission attempts remains inconsistent and unrealistic. Against the CPU it seems nearly impossible to submit them at the same time there is little concern that the CPU will actually complete a submission against the user. There has yet to be a situation where either "caught" the opponent with a submission but instead the one in danger almost always escapes easily under the system. It's been the same way in head-to-head (both off and online) fights too with submissions easily escaped by evading in the mini-game.
That alters tactics and strategy greatly. Offensively I find there to be little reason to attempt submissions. Why risk advantageous position when the submission is likely to fail? Conversely I haven't found myself defending against submissions because they're easy to get out of and the result is actually a positive shift of positioning and momentum.
Otherwise the gameplay has proven to be fairly well balanced with counter-strategies to utilize based on any tactic an opponent could be throwing out there. There has yet to be any frustrating element beyond the submission system the clinch is handled much better and the ground game simpler to understand.
Fights have been challenging but fair. Those that I've lost I've never gotten upset about and in fact often been impressed by the outcome. That is usually the best indicator of a good game when the time spent with it is enjoyable regardless of a win or loss.
"Sim" stamina is an addition that the more hardcore crowd will enjoy. It makes a huge difference and forces fights to be much more realistic. Most will probably stick with the default stamina but the option is appreciated regardless.
The new "Amateur" controls have been a refreshing addition and something I quickly got comfortable with using. There is a slight advantage for those using the "Pro Controls" (as there should be) but in terms of simplicity and accessibility the "Amateur" set holds up well. The tutorials also can help get users accustomed to the game to an extent but aren't much more than just an introduction there are even a couple that took a while to complete because they weren't clear enough in what was expected. It's just tedious to go through them one to the next and invest that much time but it's probably worth it in the end.
Online performance continues to threaten the completeness of the product. Most of the fights have been so lag-plagued that they've essentially been complete wastes of time. It has been encouraging that at least there have been a few smooth and responsive fights and they've been recent ones but even then the masses haven't hit the servers yet so things are likely going to get worse before they get better. Quitters aren't getting losses or seeing DNF % rise either which means that'll be a serious problem to address and there's also no real reason not to choose the highest rated fighters so variety in match-ups will be sorely lacking. Since releasing the server has often been unavailable and the number of disconnects high. I'll update further in regards to online play in the near future.
Other notes: There is some sort of issue with installing the game to the hard drive on the 360 that requires being signed out of Xbox Live for it to begin the install. Tapping gloves at the start of the fight is seemingly dangerous as the CPU usually chooses to throw a cheap shot. The refs can be somewhat distracting as they vanish or appear out of thin air at times. They also don't end the fights as quickly as one would expect allowing for some awkward late shots. In replays collision detection looks iffy and there appears to be very little force on the blows. The "Highlight Reel" feature which was previously detailed is a nice addition but the best part comes with the game automatically storing the last 50 rounds of fights.
There is little doubt that UFC Undisputed 3 will be looked back on at the end of the year as one of the strongest efforts amongst the crop of sports games. Hopefully it won't fall into the category of "almost great" because of poor online play so that'll have to be monitored in the days and weeks ahead. Otherwise THQ has delivered a winner with refreshing accessibility, increased authenticity, stronger content, and fun balanced gameplay.
What's new
New submission system-Instead of shining (rotating the analog stick as quickly as possible), there is a new minigame. Upon initiating a submission by pushing in the analog stick, an octagon appears on screen. Both players are given a "bar". The player trying to submit attempts to trace his bar over the player's bar being submitted while the other player moves his bar trying to avoid from being traced. If the player can keep his bar over the others long enough, the submission will be successful. There is an onscreen display of how successful the submission is. The better your UFC fighter is at subs in skills, the longer you will have to sink in the sub, or vice versa. I like the new system better than the prior system. It takes more skill to sink in a sub and you can actually tell whether it should or should not work. I am looking forward to having a callus free hand from not having to shine but it is definitely going to take some getting used too.
Pride Mode-The third installment features PRIDE mode. Pride (a MMA league based in Japan) was bought out by Zuffa a few years ago but the game brings the ring fighting back to life. In PRIDE mode Foot stomps and knees to the head of grounded opponents are allowed. Yes please. Bas Rutten delivers some pretty funny commentating. Old Pride fights like Mark Hunt, dan sevren,Kevin Randleman.
Ring entrances
Bantam and featherweight divisions
Leg TKOs
Amateur controls-instead of rolling the right analog stick to transition, the player just hits up or down.
Career Mode-You can play through with UFC fighters now. The overall feel of career mode is different but extremely repetitive. There aren't as many menus and stats to implement. Instead, there is a focus on the actual fights. To me this is kind of a bad thing. I make my CAFs for online. It is a slow a tedious process to make a good online CAF when you have 2 times to improve your fighter before a boring fight with the computer.
Cutscenes with real UFC fighters are pretty cool
You can design your own logos
Online-Fight camps are back and improved. They have added the ability to share your fights with other online players.
Review
Graphics-The fighters look great as they are again based on real rendering-you can see your punches and kick show damage on your opponents pretty quickly.
Controls-If you liked previous versions of the game, then you will be accustomed to the controls. Noobs can try out the amateur controls. Myself, I like the normal controls. It's not a perfect system, but I prefer it to any other MMA game out there
Sound-The commentary gets old pretty quick but again it is improved. Bas Rutten and Stephen QUadros are added for pride mode.
Career mode-Some improvements but overall very tedious to create a good online CAF.
Online-much less lag than in previous games. Problem is there a ton of disconnects. I'd say one in three fights disconnect for me and I have cable internet. I have no problem with other games online like COD.
Concept: 9/10
Sports games fall on a continuum of Difficult Simulation and Fun Arcade Game. This UFC Game is right in the Middle. It's got all of the current weight classes, fighters, personalities, graphics, introductions, from the sport, so it feels really authentic. The gameplay is complicated and takes about a week to learn. But, MMA is complicated because it combines punches, kicks, wrestling body control, and jujitsu submissions. All of these disciplines play pretty well and after you learn how to play, the game is fun.
Game Modes:
Exhibition 1 fight pick a weight class, 2 fighters, and go at it.
Title take a famous UFC fighter and fight your way through the contenders to become the champ.
Title Defense Once you are the champ, fight the best of the best to keep your title.
Career Mode Create and Manage your fighter, train to become better in certain aspects of MMA, and fight your way to the top.
VS Mode fight a buddy (Offline ONLY)
Gameplay: 8/10
It feels like there are so many ways to lose in an MMA fight. You can get beaten down for 3 rounds and lose a decision. You can get beaten down severely and get KO'ed. You can get hit with a flurry of powerful strikes in rapid succession and get a flash KO. You can get thrown onto the ground, dominated, and KO'ed. You can get thrown to the ground and submitted. But all of these techniques can be used on your opponent, too. Knowing when to use the techniques is as important as knowing how to use them.
Striking: 9/10
Standing and trading punches and kicks. You can target your opponent's head for a KO, the body to drain your opponent's stamina, or the legs to slow them down and nullify their takedowns. You get BONUS damage for excellent timing. If you catch an opponent coming in and beat them to the punch, you do more damage. If you dodge their attack and counter, you also deal Bonus damage. This takes a while to get used to, but once you do, it's pretty fun. You can also catch kicks by grabbing your opponent's leg and counter punch them in the face. Not only is this rewarding, but it also deals bonus damage. On the easier difficulties, the game is almost 100% striking. It's a good way to learn. As you play harder difficulties, the AI starts incorporating other aspects of MMA like grappling, transitions, clinches, ground and pound, and submissions.
Grappling: 8/10
You can grab your opponent in a clinch, deliver knees, elbows, and punches, or throw them onto the ground. Once you're on the ground, you can move the R Stick in semi-circles to change your position. You can pull the right stick to "block" or cancel an opponent's transitions and keep them where they are. You can grapple from the top and bottom while delivering punches and kicks to ground and pound your enemies. Certain positions on the ground yield better results. For example, if you are in your opponent's guard, you can't punch very hard because you can only swing your arms. If you get on top of them in a full mount, you can deliver haymakers to their body and head and go for a KO. Grappling is pretty easy once you learn the positions and how to block your opponent's transitions. But it takes a while to "get it."
Submissions: 8/10
When you are grappling, you can click the R stick to go for an arm bar, choke, etc... This brings up an Octagon with a Player 1 BAR and a Player 2 Bar. The length and speed of the bar is determined by your grappling skill and current stamina. Each Player can move their bar around the octagon shaped track. (like 2 trains) In order to submit your opponent, you just have to overlap part of their bar with part of yours. This is easy when you both have large bars. To make an opponent TAP OUT, you have to keep your bar over theirs and a gauge starts to fill. But you have a limited amount of time to fill it, otherwise your opponent escapes from the submission attempt. The bars can pass through each other, so you can try to move away, or move through the other Player's bar to escape. It's kinda fun, and very suspenseful.
Training: 7/10
In career mode, there are training exercises to boost your stats. These are 2 minute mini-games where you practice your moves. Depending on how well you did, you get stat boosts for your next fight! But training in opposite disciplines may actually lower your stats in the opposite discipline. So if you are a striker who wants to learn grappling or submissions, your punch and kick stats may drop a little bit. When training, it's important to be well rounded, but not abandon your most effective techniques. Most of the games are easy, but you don't get to practice them. They just throw you into them and you have to do your best in 2 minutes. It's frustrating at first, but gets easier later on.
Graphics: 8/10
The graphics look pretty good and authentic to the UFC. The venues, octagons, and crowds look great. The fighters all look like their real life counterparts, but they could look a bit better. When the fighters take damage, their face swells, they bleed, sweat, and their body and legs turn reddish-purple from the repeated hits.
Sound: 7/10
The music is great and the commentary is from Joe Rogan and Mike Goldberg. Most of the time, the commentary is on the mark, but sometimes, they'll say something strange.
Multiplayer: NONE
The THQ servers are down because THQ went bankrupt. There was online support, but not anymore.
Maturity: Teen
If you like the sport, you've seen blood and fighting. There's no profanity or anything that you wouldn't expect while watching a UFC.
Replay Value: 8/10
Since the game takes a while to learn and even longer to master, you'll be playing it for a long time. However, the lack of an online multiplayer mode really hurts. I'd recommend going through the tutorial, then a bunch of exhibition fights first. Then take a pre-made fighter and fight your way to the title. Once you are familiar with ALL aspects of MMA, try the Career Mode.
Overall: 8.5/10
If you are willing to put in the hours, the game is fun! Because it's so difficult, every win feels great! You can enjoy the UFC game for at least a month, even without online mode. I'd recommend it if you are a fan or casual observer of the UFC.
Unfortunately, THQ is no more and EA bought the UFC license. Hopefully the EA Curse won't affect the UFC and hopefully, they'll make great games.

The failure of UFC Undisputed 2010 to capitalize on the success of the first entry in the series forced THQ and UFC to reevaluate the viability of their product as a yearly release. The result has been a nearly two year gap that now culminates with the arrival of UFC Undisputed 3. The extra time has paid some substantial dividends but one design decision in particular and troubled online performance remain concerns.UFC Undisputed 3 carries with it a solid amount of content. Overall, UFC UNIDSPUTED 3 improved over its predecessors and is still the best MMA game out there. If you liked the previous games, it's definitely for you. If you didn't like the previous games, well then the gameplay is nearly identical. What's new

Honest reviews on UFC Undisputed 3
Warning: This is NOT a Button Masher! You need to practice!!! But after putting in the hours, the game becomes fun and feels rewarding because you earn every win. I'd recommend the UFC games for fans of the sport and fans of fighting games. There's a good deal of strategy here and the game is so realistic that you'll actually be able to get more enjoyment out of watching the UFC if you learn how to play this game. You'll have a better understanding of the strategies and how the techniques work together.Concept: 9/10
Game Modes:

Title take a famous UFC fighter and fight your way through the contenders to become the champ.
Title Defense Once you are the champ, fight the best of the best to keep your title.
Career Mode Create and Manage your fighter, train to become better in certain aspects of MMA, and fight your way to the top.

This game is the best for right now for 2012. The gameplay is a little tough but you will get use to it. The graphics are awesome. Better features than last year. You can do so much with your career fighter. This game is the best. I recommend everybody to get this game.Review of Drop shot, Auto-aim, Jitter Xbox 360 Modded Controller COD Ghost

These guys are so cool I was alittle unsure on how to work all the mods so I gave them a call and they are gamers just like us. I hate other companies that I have called in the past and its like oh since I already bought their product I don't mean anything to them anymore. Not these guys they are real gamers and I had a full fledged conversation with them, they even gave me some tips on our to improve my game. 5 Stars for the controller, 5 Stars for the Price, And 5 Stars for how awesome these guys are!!Best Deals for Drop shot, Auto-aim, Jitter Xbox 360 Modded Controller COD Ghost
Bullet buttons and guide orange LEDS! Such a sick color scheme. The buttons sit a little higher than normal and it has a different feel than an OEM controller, but I am getting used of it. Buy Worms Armageddon
I was doubtful about this game before I purchased it, but I found it on sale, and let me just say that I'm really glad I got it. Worms is a turn-based strategy game that is definately toungue-in-cheek, so if your looking for a die-hard strategy game, look elswhere. On the other hand, if you ARE looking for a fun game that you can kill some time with and have laugh, then this is a good choice. The AI in Worms isn't that advanced, so it won't be long before you look at the terrain being a bigger challenge than the enemy worms, but it is still a blast to lay waste to the opposition. To me, this is what Gameboy titles should be: A short diversion that you can play while on the bus, waiting in a doctor's office, on a trip, etc., etc., etc. You WILL find yourself addicted to it, but you don't have to play for hours upon hours to get any deep satisfaction out of it. I do wish that there were more options and a way to save your progress, but it's still a perfect time waster (and I mean that in a good sense.)
What I found disappointing was the lack of weapons. You don't even get ninja rope! But all the basic ones are there, like bazooka and firepunch. You even get some extras like battleaxe and armageddon (although armageddon is far more impressive on the PC). But the worst feature in the game is the sound. Not only have they cut out the dialogue, but they have changed the music into high-pitched digital tunes that sueak and squeal throughout the whole game (that is why I play with the sound off). My only other grumble is that it's a bit easy; I clocked the whole thing in about a week.
Apart from these, the game plays really well. The graphics are outstanding for gameboy, with highly detailed and colourful stages. Also, the stage design is much better than the PC version, with more emphasis on jumping skills (I love the pirate ship!). The controls are like worms 1, where you scroll through the weapons using the a and b button. Also, you can earn new themes by winning three times in a match (there are 48 in total).
Worms is a really awesome series, and the GBC version really hits the mark, although it can be improved. All worms veterans who own a gameboy colour should go and buy it; and for all you newbies, this game makes a fun diversion and has you coming back for more!

Okay. I am a Worms Junkie. I love the game...(Worms Armageddon/World Party for PC). The Gameboy color version is about what you would expect from its primitive 8-bit processor. If you are considering buying this version, dont. The Gameboy Advance version, Worms World Party, is almost a near perfect conversion from the PC. I have the first screenshots, and it looks beautiful.Best Deals for Worms Armageddon
Worms Armageddon on PC is my favourite game: you just can't get enough of it! So when I saw the GBC version on the shelves, I hurried to buy it. Well, although it has some flaws, I rate it the third best Gameboy Colour game, after Pokémon Gold and Tetris DX.What I found disappointing was the lack of weapons. You don't even get ninja rope! When we first got the Kinect, we purchased the Kinectimals game. Although it was cute and my 4 year old daughter liked it, the game required reading so I always had to sit beside her while she played. This is fine, but I have 11 month old twins, so my 4 year old ended up not getting a lot of Kinect playtime.
Also the kinect didn't respond that great with Kinectimals. My daughter was often frustrated.
A few days ago we bought Fantastic Pets. It requires almost no reading (only a few parts do, but my daughter now remembers which items to select in those areas so she doesn't need me at all) and seems to be a whole lot less frustrating to her.
Go with Fantastic Pets...much better!
Cons: Long initial tutorial and pet set-up. Both kids can't play at the same time with both of their pets. Two people can play at the same time, but only with one pet.
Will say that after we added better lighting to our room some boards(obsticle courses) seemed to register our moves better. As it did with all our kinict games. It's geared towards kids cause you can only unlock(buy on the map) so much a day then is closed for the day. Competitons are once a day then locked. Uggg! Not a big free play player but son is.
He's got one of each pet and loves giving them different looks, wings, eyes... etc. Creative side and different animals really adds to the replayability for kids.
Because of the boards/screens intuitive nature it keeps my son wanting to play more and not get frustrated to replay later after he's taken a break. Where Kinictamals he's done with since it's a relearn game everytime you play and already unlocked the island and last kitty. He can replay but has no desire.

We've had this game for a while now. Wanted to wait and see if my 6yo really liked this game. Got to say this is a great game even if you put down. We've got Kinictamals and Fantastic Pets. He wanted to pick Kinictamals back up but forgot most of the commands after not playing 3-4 weeks. As we all do when we try to replay a game after a break. We put fantastic pets back in 2-3 weeks of not playing and very intuitive. He was having fun in no time. Will say that after we added better lighting to our room some boards(obsticle courses) seemed to register our moves better. As it did with all our kinict games. This is how a animal game is supposed to work. My children ages 8 and 6 love this game it puts them on the TV while they play with their pet. I love this game we bought it for my two year old and he loves playing with his pets. We thought that it was going to be hard especially since our two year is very hypper but he got the hang of it right away he loves the fact that his pet is next to him and he can touch him and make him do tricks. We really recommend this product to all the parents because it interacts with your kids in such a way and it teaches them to follow directions unlike when our son is watching "Go Diego Go" that it tells him to pull, push, or run and he's doing it but he has to wait till the show gives them a few minutes before actually doing it. With this game as he's doing it you can see how he holds the ball or makes his pet jump or pull. We love it. JoelThursday, September 11, 2014
Call of Duty Finest Hour Reviews
I think this is a very fine game, its not an easy one and no cheat codes are up yet that I know about, so you,re on your own.
At that point basic combat tactics soon become obvious if you are to survive.
The graphics are very nice, play is active and exciting, its really a very good game, hope this company starts putting out more games, they did a really find job.
As far as EA games MOH, they are two different entities, EA games MOH you get a break, cheat codes, lots of on line info, but for a first time the makers of Call Of Duty did well.
Like others, I find the major irritation factor is getting almost finished and then getting killed and having to start the level all over again, these are not easy levels.
Being a stundent of WWII history, it seems that there was a lot of research put into this game, really shows.
So to briefly sum it up, its not perfect, but it still is excellent, I give this a 5+
The weapons are realistic, squad mates do work, and all tank missions are fun.
The main game is hard at first until you get used to it (the key is laying down and shooting no matter where you are) and xbox live rocks because everygame i join i come in first place, even when its been going on for 20 mins.
Pros: fun levels, fun weapons, fun game.
Cons: Controls are different, i am used to Halo.
Buy it!!!
Get the PC version instead.
too few checkpoints, granades hit you too easily, damage effect very annoying, otherwise, ok game.
The levels vary throughout the game. Also, you get to play as Russian, British, and American soldiers (the American are the best). Throughout the game, you will have to do various things such as provide tank escorts, snipe away Germans, travel through large towns that are swarming with Germans, blow up German anti-tank armour, blow up old buildings, conquer a bridge that is infested with Germans, shoot down enemy aircraft, and the list goes on & on. The tank controls can be a little tricky at first, but you'll catch on after a while. I'll address this too. Many gamers complain about COD because of the lack of checkpoints. This game does get frustrating occasionally because you have to keep replaying levels due to lack of checkpoints. But when you get this game, you cannot go out there like on Halo and just run into the middle of a whole bunch of Germans. Sorry, but humans are not made of steel like masterchief. What you have to do is use the environment to your advantage; hide behind blown up tanks, crawl under some rubble of a blown up building, hide behind a building and shoot around the corner of it without revealing your body (which comes in handy so much in the game), and anything else you can use. That is one of the main reasons why I like this game so much, is you have to use strategy sometimes (opposite halo where you can run into the middle of a dozen grunts and stand there without getting killed).
World War II fans, all I can say is that this game is AWESOME and you should add it on your shelf alongside all your Medal of Honor games.

This game kicks ass, it is so much better than all the other FPS WWII games on the xbox. The graphics rock, sounds excellent and gameplay never gets old.The weapons are realistic, squad mates do work, and all tank missions are fun.

This game is nothing like the Call of Duty for pc. There is no D-Day or running through Stalingrad. I remember trying to secure a building but I kept on getting killed by my own tanks. It has some of the worst A.I. that ive seen in a game. Every time the enemy shoots they seem to hit you even if you're crouching, running and sometimes even behind what seems to be perfectly safe cover. The Nazis charge at you like madmen. Shooting them in the stomach, legs, or other appendages should wound them but, oh yeah, they cant be wounded only killed. I gave the game two stars for the graphics and game designing. Its hard to believe that the best WWII FPS for pc would turn out to be one of the worst games for X-Box. This was by far my worst purchase ever.Get the PC version instead.

I bought this game becuase my local bestbuy has it featured in a poster, and I thought it would be a good choice for on-line play. Honestly, I think this game is realistic enough, and the graphics are such that if you viewed it from a distance from your tv, it looks like a top-notch war-movie. A good feature of this game is that it let take up your rifle and aim down the sight, and release it as you lift the trigger, this provides much action and realism.too few checkpoints, granades hit you too easily, damage effect very annoying, otherwise, ok game.

This game is awesome! Fans of Medal of Honor, this game is a must-buy. The graphics in this game are fabulous, very well designed. The gameplay in this is easily the best part of the game. Each mission is designed in its own unique way, and they do not get repetitive, like MOH games sometimes do. The sound, what can I say. Maybe just AWESOME!!!! Without the sound, I would of easily rated this game a four. The music makes the game, especially in intense fights where you're always behind cover firing at the enemy. The levels vary throughout the game. Also, you get to play as Russian, British, and American soldiers (the American are the best). Super Street Fighter IV FightPad - Juri - Xbox 360 Reviews
I love playing my copy of SUPER Sreet Fighter 4... its one of the greatest fighting games I've ever played, even better than Tekken in arguable ways. Having a controller like this is ideal for fighting games when you don't wanna shell out for the full, tabletop required, arcade pad.
This is a nromal sized controller with a different build on the buttons to match that to the full arcade pad, but without the whole size problem. The button map looks nothing like a normal controller as all the 4 main buttons and the bumbers on the front of the thing. This can nake it sorta strange at first if you wanna use it for a different type of game. its sorta hard to play with on other games that you can't button mash on, as well as most shooters.so don't use this while playing a shooter like Black Ops or GOW3 Beta. Although it works kinda okay for some sports games and a handfull of action adventure games, but the lerning curve will take more effort than its worth.
It works great for its the purpose it was biult for, as well as a few other games, but don't keep it as a replacment for a broken controller though as its not all purpose.
On separate notes, all of these controllers are the same except for the faceplate used, so they all handle the same unless it breaks.
The whole thing is lightwieght, but it feels a little hollow in a few of the wrong places, this really just makes it seem to work better when you start raking in combos, or buttonmashing like crazy.
It feels kinda thick as it should.... it was made for a type of game that often causes people to break TVs in frustration, so it feels like you could give it a good trashing after losing 11 rounds without really damaging the buttons, although the usless cord thing kinda gets in the way.
I think the cord needs to be longer as the balance of the controller wouldn't work if a battery pack was stuck to it, it just calls for a little more restaint than I usually wanna put out when fighting my friends.
The only real problem is that the control stick/D pad thing might break if you mash you mash it too hard... but that's a given that if you crush a controller, it'll break something. It won't be a problem 'cept that its the only one on the controller and can really screw up combos if this happens to ANY of the buttons... which are all kid0nda skeechy to begin with.
I think that aside from the lack of a resonably longer cord, this is perfect once you find one with your favorite character looking awesome of the faceplate.
Seriously though, why is this thing not wireless? The PS3 version is wireless and costs less. I'm sure Mad Catz will blow smoke saying it is Microsoft's fault but Mad Catz makes the wireless controllers for Rock Band on 360 so what gives? Last year it was annoying, this year there is no excuse and I'm mad at myself for buying it.

The controller is pretty decent other than the shoulder buttons and control pad feeling a bit mushy. I'm guessing it will be the same regardless of which design chosen.
