After much anticipation I recieved this game, and it's the bestversion of Q*bert since his arcade release. The graphics are justamazing, the game play stays true to the original. If you buy one classic this year make it Q*bert for pc, or Playstation. You won't be sorry.

Clearly, this is a dated video game. If you aren't old enough to vividly remember hearing that President Reagan had been shot by a would-be assassin, you are not going to appreciate this game. It is simplistic and the graphics are crude by contemporary standards. However, in its day, this game was novel and refreshingly fun. It is an old style arcade video game which is essentially a challenging moving puzzle, not a more modern ultra-realistic killing simulation. I spent many hours in my misguided and misspent youth feeding quarters into the Q*bert machine at my local pub. It is a nostalgic treat to be able to waste a few hours in my misguided and misspent middle-age playing Q*bert on my home computer. The fact that the game costs less than one or two nights of quarters in the arcade machine just improves the experience by appealing to my frugal nature. This game isn't slick and it isn't sophisticated. However, it is still fun. They have added a few new features, but I prefer the classic version. They have certainly captured the fun of the original version. Now, if they could only find that cute little co-ed from the dorm next to mine who used to watch me play, it would be like my college days all over again......Recommended without reservations to all baby boomers with receding hairlines. There seems to be a minor glitch with my system, Windows XP Pro. Every once in a while, the sound will stop abruptly until you close the game and restart. It does not happen often and I can be forgiving of this flaw in an old friend, particularly when the game isn't marketed as XP-compatible. However, I did withhold one star and only ranked it with four stars because this game is so simplistic compared to modern games. It hasn't aged well, but how many of us have?

I had as much fun now as I did years a go when I first played it. I would recomend it to anyone who use to play it.

These guys are so cool I was alittle unsure on how to work all the mods so I gave them a call and they are gamers just like us. I hate other companies that I have called in the past and its like oh since I already bought their product I don't mean anything to them anymore. Not these guys they are real gamers and I had a full fledged conversation with them, they even gave me some tips on our to improve my game. 5 Stars for the controller, 5 Stars for the Price, And 5 Stars for how awesome these guys are!!

Bullet buttons and guide orange LEDS! Such a sick color scheme. The buttons sit a little higher than normal and it has a different feel than an OEM controller, but I am getting used of it. If you want to make your friends jealous, this is the controller to get.

This is honestly one of the best Xbox games I have. This game is like a mix between GTA, Twisted Metal, and Need For Speed. It has the features of GTA (guns, cars, gangs) the cars of Need For Speed (fast, big, auxilary, sport cars, ) and the whole game is like Twisted Metal! The weapons are great too.You get 9mms to Desert Eagles to AK-47s to tons more different kinds of guns. The cars are the best!you get lowriders and hummers and trucks and lots more I haven't unlocked yet!Plus, the missions are very easy, but some took me 3-5 times to beat. The whole game is nonstop racing and shooting. But be aware this game has explicit swearing in it.So, if you like Twisted Metal, GTA, or N.F.S. then get 187 ride or die!

I'm so glad that I rented this turkey first instead spending 50 smackers on it. While the graphics are nice they are hardly ground breaking. This didn't hold my attention for more than 15-20 minutes and even then I was looking for an excuse to eject the game from the console. I think ubisoft messed up some where in the gameplay area sure it has elements of twisted metal gta and a few others but that just didn't cut it for me. The controls are the bloody worst thing I've ever had to get used to when trying to drive and shoot at the same time. Better luck next time guys.

After being forced into a corner of mediocrity and shameless attempts and polygonal "sex appeal" the Tomb Raider franchise is finally given the chance to start anew with a fresh look at the beginnings of series protagonist Lara Croft.

To keep a long story short, this series reboot showcases Lara's transformation from an inexperienced young woman in search of adventure into a strong and unstoppable survivor. This isn't the unrealistically large-breasted Angelina Jolie look-alike who runs around in short-shorts with her belly button on display to appeal to lonely fanboys. This is Tomb Raider matured and honed to perfection. Adventure, danger, suspense, terror. And all centered around a well-rounded character (yes, Lara is finally a real character now).

Visually Tomb Raider is magnificent. Sure, there's a lot of browns and grays in many settings, but when the game opens up to the island the graphics showcase the wonderful designs crafted with such care at Crystal Dynamics.

Voice acting is great. Lara's portrayal (in both voice and motion-capture) is ahead of previous games by leaps and bounds. Sound design and music are generally excellent.

Finally, we have gameplay. Tomb Raider offers a welcome mixture of shooting, platforming, sneaking, and cinematic quick time events (QTE's). Many gamers dislike QTE's, and I understand why, but I personally welcome them when they are placed sensibly within the game. Tomb Raider gets it right, using these events to keep you on the edge of your seat. One wrong move and Lara dies, sometimes rather graphically.

On the whole developer Crystal Dynamics and publisher Square Enix have crafted a gem of a game that can be enjoyed by a new generation as well as series veterans. Tomb Raider is a force to be reckoned with once again, and I pity the next big action-adventure game that tries to do better.

Square Enix has been pushing the envelope lately. Last year's Sleeping Dogs blended Grand Theft Auto-style driving and shooting and classic "True Crime" grit with elements of classic martial arts films, and Hitman: Absolution dropped players into the shoes of Agent 47 for the fifth time with stealthy gusto.

And then came Tomb Raider. Having a video game series spawn nine direct sequels is no small feat. But to hear it told on the internet and in a couple of magazines months before its release, this would have easily been one to pass on. Lara Croft is young, naive, fragile and vulnerable, not the dual-gun wielding, ass-kicking bombshell she has been for nine games and two movies now. Let me reassure you, there is plenty to love here.

After being shipwrecked in southern Japan, Lara Croft is knocked unconscious and taken prisoner by the indigenous tribe. Her crewmates are lost. She is alone. When the dust settles and Lara opens her eyes, she finds herself bound upside down, hanging from the ceiling with several corpses. In the first five minutes of play, she escapes her bats nest, falls a good thirty feet to the ground and lands on a broken femur, which pierces her through the side. From that scene, I was hooked. Even through the stumbling and near-misses that Lara experiences in the first 10% of her journey, I found myself unable to leave her side. Her struggle through the hardship makes a bond with the player that few games can match.

The first and foremost part of this game is survival. Lara will occasionally get hungry if you aren't keeping on top of things. Fortunately, food caches are so frequent in the game and wild animals are everywhere, so this shouldn't be an issue. Stealth can be a key factor, too. A couple of stealth kills can save you a good 10 minutes of combat in the late game.

There are some areas where the game falters. Combat is repetitive as hell, and the game doesn't reward diversity in combat like Devil May Cry, nore does it really nudge you into any particular tactics. Bullets and arrows kill things, and dynamite hurts when it blows you up. That's really all there is to it here.

The multiplayer portion of the game seems unnecessary, and unless you're a bored fanatic of Call of Duty, you won't find much to please you here. Most of the DLC available now revolves around online multiplayer (weapons & maps), which seems like an oversight in a primarily single-player game, and the modes aren't very diverse. As good as the single player game was, I feel like it could have been that much better had Tomb Raider not shipped with online multiplayer.

The game's setting is a small string of islands in the Dragon's Triangle in southern Japan. The tombs are diverse, from the dark underground tunnels to the World War II testing facilities to the makeshift shantytown. The optional ones don't exactly jump out at you: the game alerts you when you're near the entrance to one, and you can either continue on with the story or search for that hidden entrance. The rewards for completing tombs are just as you'd expect: a fancy ancient relic, some insight into the island's history, or both. Just as rewarding are some of the death sequences. Should you lead Lara Croft down the wrong path she will die, sometimes in an amazingly gory fashion that would make LIMBO proud.

Tomb Raider sounds amazing. Every bit of it. The voice acting was fantastic. Lara's every gasp, whimper and grunt seem unique, as if SEE had captured dozens of hours of Camilla Luddington falling down the stairs. Her dialogue is hilarious at times. After opening a sarcophagus near the middle of the game and reaping her putrid reward, Lara blurts out "I hate tombs!" The other crewmates and villains have equally great voice acting, but the standouts are the samoan Jonah Miava (voiced by Earl Baylon) and the cult leader Mathias (voiced by Robert Craighead). Just as important, the musical score is astounding. Jason Graves (composer for the Dead Space series, Alpha Protocol and F.3.A.R.) brings the story home with a mix of tribal drums and chilling strings.

After beating the game tonight, I came away only slightly disappointed. The final boss fight turned out to be misleading, and the final sequence of the game was a QTE. Unless you're a completionist or an avid fan of mediocre online shooters, you can be done with Tomb Raider in as little as 10-12 hours. For those who take the time to explore, though, it can be extremely rewarding.

Honest reviews on Tomb Raider

I played a few of the Tomb Raider games and really didn't get into them much, i'm not sure if it's because I was playing as a girl? Not to sound sexist, or i just preferred Indiana Jones, and Drakes Fortune over her. I really enjoyed the Uncharted games and could probably go through them again. I think this game is actually better in different ways. Graphically I do find it to be better, and Square Enix have always been known for great graphics and atmosphere. One of my favorites being Just Cause 2. The game mechanics are smooth as silk, the aiming and shooting accuracy are much better than Drakes Fortune, along with the controls. Not to discredit those games, but this game seems more plausible (for a game), and has more of a humanistic side to it. You really feel what Lara is going through, and it has a lot more emotional in a survival sense. This game is more staying alive then just searching for things and shooting people. Although there is a lot of that as well. The hunting is great, even when your just doing nothing you can simply shoot rabbits, deer, birds and wolves to gain skill points. And find salvage to upgrade simple things like a knife or axe. Even though i'm somewhere in the middle of the game, i don't see my opinion going anywhere but up, but it's already as far as it can go.

This game, much like Drake, Resident Evil, Dead Space etc. is "extremely" engrossing, and just a joy to play. Without having some of the tedious tasks that the for mentioned games have. Yes there are many quick time events, but they are easy, and not nearly as frequently annoying as say Resident Evil 6. Save points are all over the place, and the autosave does more than enough so that you don't have to continuously repeat a task over and over. And the game is "fairly" easy. On another note when i say Mature i mean it, this isn't the innocent Lara portrayed in the other games, or even the movies. The is the rated R version. There is LOTS of violence, cursing, and other elements that make the game for adults. Which is great. It's about time we have an adult platforming adventure game, without going so overboard it's not enjoyable. Well this is the game. The graphics as i said are just amazing, i have it on PC, so i could test out my rig, then got it for 360, to enjoy sitting on the couch in front of the big screen with surround sound. Both look amazing, but of course the PC has higher resolution, and the detailing while amazing, can make it, well, almost unrealistic looking. Also platformers are much more fun on consoles IMO. I use my rig for FPS mostly. So pick this game up, there is plenty of gameplay time, and even downloadable content to keep you busy for many hours. I rarely buy "new" games, i always get used or wait till the price comes down. But Tomb Raider is definitely worth it. The only other game i plan on purchasing "new" is Bioshock Infinite, which looks also to be amazing.

Other perks

Using the bow, climbing, scaling cliffs, weapon upgrades, the thrill of the kill, the will to survive, and oh yeah. This is one of the hottest versions of Lara to date. You're just wanting a scene to watch her bathe, even though she's a bunch of pixels and polygons. HA. Maybe that will come later, or we'll have the Naked Raider DLC. Either way, incredible game, which i'll probably go through again, sometime in the summer. ;o) Play on!!

I am the type of gamer that is pretty loyal to my favorite game franchises Gears of War, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Tomb Raider and I tend to overlook a lot of problems with them because I love the stories, characters, feel. You know what to expect when you put one in and sit down to play. That being said, I feel that this effort in the Tomb Raider series was a bit unexpected for me. And even though it was fun to play, it didn't deliver all that I love about the previous Tomb Raider games.

I will start by listing what I didn't like about the game (these are in no particular order). MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS:

-It was very short. I rented this one instead of buying it and had 95% game completion in 10 days and finished it in 12 on Normal. I am a mother of 2, work a part-time job, help my daughter with homework, do house work, cook meals etc. I only play a couple hours of XBOX a night after my kids go to bed. To have 95% of the game completed in that amount of time means the game is very short. No joke.

-There wasn't enough of the puzzle aspects to the game. One thing I LOVED about the previous Tomb Raiders is when you are in a massive tomb or space and you can see all the levels of the ruins and you have to figure out how to traverse the space. A lot of climbing, jumping, puzzling over how to get where you need to go. This one was missing that. There were large spaces but they didn't have the same feel and certainly didn't have the challenge to them that previous Tomb Raiders did.

-The tombs were a joke. Come on. Seriously.

-I absolutely HATED the sequences when you had to push the Y button to prevent being killed or escape an enemy. You know, the ones where it is like you are watching a video and then the Y flashes on the screen and you have to hit it at the right time. Those are the times I died the most. Over and over again. I couldn't seem to get the timing down my first time through, although now I'm getting better at it since I'm playing it my second time. There were just too many of these sequences and the sliding sequences as well.

~~SPOILERS~~

-I thought that the glimpses of the Oni were pretty terrifying. I DREADED the time when I would have to defeat them because I knew I would. Then, in the final battle there is...ONE of them. Seriously. ONE. I do not like boss battles. I typically struggle with them. But I was seriously let down on this one. To build up the tension so much, starting with being in the monastery and seeing them dragging the big club, hearing the sounds they make then hearing the Solarii discussing how they kill people and how deadly they are and finally to thinking I would have to confront one on the bridge and having it blown off, postponing the moment of battle. All of this raised the tension and really filled me with trepidation at the thought of having to fight them. But there was ONE. I didn't even die in the battle. Not once. I kept thinking, "Was that it? That couldn't be it!" But that was it.

-This is a minor dislike but I thought that some of the scenes were just so disgustingly gory and gross. All the blood and bones and rotting deer and people. Turned my stomach at times. I'm sensitive though so maybe that was just me. But I really though it was much grittier and gorier than other Tomb Raider games.

-Finally, and this isn't really a big one, but there were so many times when I was like "Do not leave her alone!" "Stay together!" But then if the survivors of the Endeavor always stayed together then there wouldn't be much of a story, right? ;)

Now, what I liked about the game (in no particular order):

-It was fun. Just overall, I enjoyed playing it. It wasn't difficult but it was worth playing through. I didn't get bored. I wished there was more sometimes and kept waiting for something more to happen. But when I looked and was 60%+ through the game, I realized that was it. I stopped waiting for the game to start and just played.

-I like her various weapons, particularly the bow.

Ah, I'm really trying to say something else that I liked but I guess that is it...

Multiplayer:

I do not typically enjoy multiplayer games. I am not great against other players. Now, Horde mode in Gears of War is my type of multiplayer. I can handle computer baddies but I'm just not fast enough or skilled enough to take on people who play multiplayer all day every day. I get about 2-3 hours a night AT MOST to play. That being said, I did like what I did play of the multiplayer. Of course, I kept being killed pretty much instantly after respawning which wasn't very fun. But I like how there are three rounds and you alternate between being the survivors trying to get medical supplies and Solarii trying to kill the survivors and preventing them from taking your medical supplies. There are traps that you can set to trip other players up and high-powered special weapons you can find in the level. Pretty cool. If I owned the game, I could see myself playing a little more of that.

I don't like it when game achievements require you to play player v. player. That typically means that a gamer such as myself will not be able to get all the achievements from a game. That is always a bummer.

Overall, a game that wasn't very challenging but was moderately fun to play.

I bought this item thinking it was too good to be true...well it was. It turns out that the product I recieved was not the 100ft cable. Instead they sent me a 15m cable which is just under 50 feet. Typical for an online purchase like this. Last time I will be buying from these guys.

Great company to do business with. I had the cable in a few days and it works perfect. I was a little confused with the description "for PS3 XBOX 360" All I wanted was a plain old cable and that is what I got. The price was much cheaper than the big box stores(including the shipping) plus they don't even sell it in 100 foot lengths.

Before I begin, if you are expecting this game to be a traditional Resident Evil game focusing on survival horror, forget it. It is nothing like it. Granted that it was pushed more as an action third person shooter (which it is), I can see how people got confused due to "Resident Evil" being in the title.

Gameplay: Average

Hit detection is terrible in this game. Even shooting in short, controlled bursts makes your aim fly around. Also, zombies are fairly easy to take out if you aim for the head (unless you get swarmed) but enemy Spec Ops soldiers apparently have cement heads because 4-5 bullets to the face isn't enough to kill them.

Single-Player Campaign: Horrible

If you want to play this game on your own, don't bother. It is short, only 6 missions, each about 1 hour long (depending on difficulty). Teammate AI is a bust. They will walk directly in front of you, into trip mines and even into fire. You're basically on your own, which isn't great when faced with a zombie horde accompanied by Hunters, Lickers and Tyrants.

Multiplayer: Only Redeeming Quality

>The game supports full campaign co-op so you can play the campaign with up to 3 other friends (4 total including yourself). This makes for a much more rewarding experience, especially when you try to beat the game on harder difficulties such as Veteran and Professional. Also, there's an element where your teammate can get infected and turn into a zombie, in which case you have to put them down or spray them with an anti-viral spray before they turn.

>Versus mode also adds some unique competitive multiplayer modes like Heroes and Survivor. Heroes is where you play your favorite RE character such as Leon or Claire. They have massive amounts of health and the point is to kill all the heroes on one team to win. If you die, you come back as a regular soldier (and significantly weaker than the Heroes). Survivor pits 8 players for a fight for only 4 seats on an evac chopper. The ones left behind are pretty much screwed. Keep in mind that all modes have zombies, lickers, hunters and tyrants. So you're not just fighting the other team, but these CPU-controlled enemies as well.

Graphics: Average

The graphics are not terrible, but there's also nothing special about them. Some levels are too bland and boring. There are some recreations of your favorite scenes of Resident Evil 2 (such as the car crash at the beginning of the RE2 or the train from the ending). It doesn't too polished though, giving it a quite jagged look. The cutscenes are much better, but are too few to actually enjoy.

Sound: Good

The sound is probably one of the better physical aspects of the game. The guns in particularly sound powerful and devastating.

Overall: 6 out of 10

In the end, it's not worth $60. If you can get it for $20-30 bucks, then you should consider it. Also, make sure you have friends to play with because it's not worth it if you're going to play solo.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

My star rating speaks for itself for the most part, so I'll just attempt to justify it.

The game has bugs in the very first level, in what should be one of the most polished and epic parts (where you see Birkin)

The cover system at times is unresponsive, or I can't take cover behind things I should really be able to cover behind.

Many reviews label enemies in this game as "bullet sponges". They're right. In a level you have to fight 3 Mr. X's. Their only weak spot seems to be the head, and I can probably mathematically prove that I put enough bullets into one of their heads to easily fill its volume and more. There's suspension of disbelief, and then there's, "Ok I've been shooting at this thing for about 3 minutes, why won't it die?" This was only on Normal difficulty by the way.

The game is designed around co-op, given how the team mates specialize to help make a "squad", but local co-op isn't in the game. WHAT? The AI is terrible. They'll give you first aid... some times... when they feel like it. They'll never revive you. They get themselves into stupid situations and get themselves killed, but you'll need to revive them if, for no other reason, than you need them as a diversion so the big baddies won't take turns knocking you to the ground in an inescapable chain of death. Yeah I'm bitter.

There are no vehicles, no interesting objectives in missions, what should be epic zombie battles can quickly get annoying if you get infected with a virus several times in succession, since this means you will turn into a zombie and die because you probably ran out of antivirus, and the computer is too dumb to pick some up and heal you.

Little things like this make the game feel grindy and chorish. The weapon unlock system takes FOREVER given how short the campaign is. This is exacerbated by the fact that the levels aren't interesting to replay given how long each individual level is. I tried to farm points but all I could think at the level select screen was "Oh god this level again?!" with every level I highlighted.

The enemies have a glazed look over them which is... odd, but it isn't game breaking. What's worse is the only resident evil characters I remember seeing in the game are: Mr. X, Hunk, Birkin, Nemesis, Leon, Claire, Sherry Birkin. On the outset this sounds like a lot... except for you interact with them in extremely boring ways. Hunk is just kind of "there" in your first mission, Birkin is buggy as hell. What should be an epic first encounter feels like, "Oh god not this again!" Nemesis is a "boss fight" where you sit behind cover and pump like 20 clips of ammo into his head until he "gives up" so you can put something in his head. You run from or kill Mr. X, and well anyone who followed the game knew about Leon. I'm very let down by the way they handled that. It's outbreak, Raccoon City! There should be carnage in the streets, Tyrants mowing down zombies, Nemesis fighting Mr. X, Leon popping out with a rocket launcher to say hi, the U.S. military doing whatever they can just to get a foothold through the carnage but being easily overwhelmed.

Mayhem, objective based combat, and lots of interesting zombie moments should have littered this game, but what we got were perfect boxes withing boxes which describe our levels. Sometimes infinite enemies will pour in, sometimes you have to kill your way though (with little help from the game), sometimes you peek around the corner and the zombies and military are playing drinking games just waiting for you to show up so they can double team you for god knows what reason.

If I haven't made my case, I don't know what will.

So let's do a quick recap. The weak cover system, bullet sponge enemies, and lack of interesting objectives make this a terrible third person shooter. The lack of real horror moments, cheap mechanics, and no interesting use of RE characters make this a terrible game in the RE series, not even deserving to be called a "spin off" game. No local co-op despite the game's design around it, and a terrible AI ensure this game fails at basically whatever genre it was trying to be. They should have payed me to play this game.

Best Deals for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City - Xbox 360

Bought this to play through the campaign with a buddy and honestly, I'm pretty disappointed. But first, the positives.

The concept itself is pretty interesting setting you up as an opposing force for the bad guys in a historically big videogame event the fall of Raccoon City. The playable characters look unique, the voice acting is fairly decent, and a couple of the mechanics infection and bleeding, are nice touches.

On to the cons. The biggest con for me was the AI, both of the enemy, but more particularly of your AI teammates. They don't employ their specials in a timely fashion, they won't heal you (with the exception of the medic, and even then, with little rhyme or reason), walk into fire, and won't play with a modicum of intelligence. Several of the levels involve mines with laser tripwires AI Teammates run into them, and having been blown up, they then proceed to charge into the second row, and then possibly the third. And these aren't hidden tripwires. In one area, there are walls of flame. They will stand in the fire and slowly roast. Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen NPC AI this bad at least not since the PS1 generation, and even then, no truly worse example comes to mind.

I played through as the stealth character Vector which had some interesting mechanics cloaking ability, motion detection, silent movement, etc, all of which would have been interesting, had the game allowed me to use them. But, the level design wasn't very conductive to it. When it was possible, the AI teammates just charged ahead anyway, triggering every encounter possible. So I pretty much was just another generic shooter guy, except when I could use the stealth ability to revive downed team mates, and occasionally try and outflank or get behind a group of Spec Ops (which often seemed to trigger successive encounters, or pull more into the firefight).

Speaking of level design, it's very straightforward. Point A to Point B, which isn't itself bad. Nothing wrong with it. But they aren't conductive to using the various skill sets provided to the team few opportunities to snipe (which really makes me wonder what the Sniper, Spectre, is for, given the mobs and zombies appearing out of nowhere), minimal chance to employ stealth, and not particularly conductive to the use of teamwork. The general formula is to overcome waves and waves of more or less identical zombies, generic Special Forces, and the occasional Lictor or other BioWeapon. Enemy AI is simple in the extreme they charge. That's it, with the exception of Spec Ops, which shoots and ducks.

Graphically, it's a bit unimpressive. Pretty generic, pretty choppy character animation, and fairly forgettable aside from some of the special effects and the sync kills for hand to hand, it reminds me more of an end of last generation title. Zombies also crawl out of solid walls, solid floors, and various other solid objects. Compared to some of the other recent games including the rather disappointing Dead Island ORC just doesn't hold its own graphically.

Story wise, there really isn't one. You interact with a few of the mainline RE characters, very, very briefly a couple of sentences here and there. And the gullibility of your team in its dealings with Umbrella borders on ludicrous, serving only to move you from one section to the next.

Overall, ORC showed a lot of initial promise great premise, interesting character types and abilities, big name behind it. I wanted to love it, but I can't. It failed horribly in the execution, poor attention to detail, and monumentally bad AI.

If I could do it again, I'd Wait for it to hit $20.

Honest reviews on Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City - Xbox 360

Upon receiving this game, I had no idea what to expect. Once I popped the game in, I knew right away that this was going to be a mediocre game. Graphics are OK, enemy AI does its job, friendly AI is the worst you could possibly imagine, and there is a major gap between its difficulty settings. If it's not set on professional, the game is too easy; set it on professional, the game is very difficult. AI isn't smarter, it just takes more bullets to put 'em down to the point where you'll blow half, if not all your ammunition. Anyway, positives: The game creates a very interesting dynamic where, if you force enemy combatants to bleed, ALL the zombies will attack that NPC. Just know, that perk works both ways. If you bleed, you're more susceptible to infection which if left untreated, will change you into an uncontrollable zombie. There are several classes, each with their own perks (medic, scientist, etc) and melee options with their own melee kill sequences. The story is OK (approx. 6hrs 7 hrs) and the fan-service is solid, but what makes the game is teamwork. This is obviously not the best game in the series, but probably the most enjoyable spin-off they've come up with. I must emphasize, DON'T BUY THIS GAME IF YOU DON'T HAVE THREE OTHER PEOPLE TO PLAY WITH. The game is not enjoyable solo because friendly AI is awful and make the game more difficult then it needs to be. I would recommend this buy for four friends at $30 or less.

This review is from: Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City (Video Game)

Experience:

Level 1: Begins with cover based shooting. Glad to see Capcom is blazing new trails in the 3rd person shooter genre. Also you can't "vault" over cover. I mean it only took them how ever many years to give you the ability to run AND shoot. Maybe in 3 more games they'll include this option.

Cover based shooting takes forever. Your guns are inaccurate, head shots don't drop enemies, frag grenades do pitiful damage, enemies take entire clips to the chest (on normal difficulty), and the only thing more inaccurate that you with guns is your NPC squad with guns.

Encounter Birkin boss fight. Birkin nails me with pipe and locks me in perma-stun until death. 2nd encounter knocks me down. This time analog prompt appears (rotate analog stick to dodge) to allow me to roll out of the way. Why it didn't appear in the first encounter I have no idea.

Birkin kills squad member, move to revive...die

New strategy: Use squad as meat shield, sprint like crazy while hearing their cries of anguish fade into the distance...pass level.

Level 2: Unlock stealth for Vector. Encounter military types in City hall. Stealth and sneak up behind enemy when I realize I have no stealth kill...on a STEALTH character. Sigh, in perfect position to set up cross fire. Execute..enemy begins melee combo attack while I'm pouring a clip into his chest. Locked into perma-stun until death.

Crossfire attempt 2: Watch my team flail about as if they're trying to target everyone at once and some enemies that don't exist. Use all stun grenades. Team refuses to acknowledge my assistance by actually killing a single soldier. Survive encounter with 1 bar of health. Remaining squad memebers...KIA. Developing hatred toward moron in charge of AI.

Get to archive room to burn evidence. Can't see a thing. Turn up gamma no effect. Wander around library beginning to wonder if my purchase was worth it.

Get to ending with multiple Lickers. Watch as animators were too lazy to give the Lickers an actual "death" animation. Licker stays in attack pose after 2 clips or more until finally disintegrates; was dead the entire time. Other Licker models merely go "limp" and fall from the ceiling. Very lazy on Capcom's part.

Level 3: Exploding zombies...this is getting stupid. Am becoming bored, and really wishing I'd read the reviews.

Hospital catches fire. Hunter mini boss fight occurs.

Use team as meat shield. Hunter kills "Lupo" and "Beltway" but I'm alive and that's what's important.

Revive Lupo. Revive Beltway. Beltway then runs directly into a fire and stands there until he dies. Revive Beltway. Move to next room. Lupo suicides on trip mines that were guarding an aid spray. She can't even pick them up! Why is she going for an aid spray!?

Turn game off in disgust.

Update: Continued to play and got to one of the end levels where I had to re-enter Birkin's Lab.

On the elevator and attacked by lickers. Killed lickers but one glitches and gets stuck in the freaking wall. My cracker-jack team decides the best thing to do is to just shoot the wall...forever. After the Licker has disappeared through the wall. I am not kidding. They all lined up and proceed to shoot at NOTHING. And because you can't issue team commands, the only way to make them stop is proceed to another check point.

This is one the biggest things that I am hating about the game industry. EVERYTHING MUST have multi-player.

I know that a ton of people who disagree with me will say "Play on Xbox Live DURRR"

The thing is that I shouldn't have to. That's an excuse and bull**** one at that.

I understand that there are some games that have a single player campaign added as an after thought. Battlefield Bad Company 2 is a perfect example. I didn't get that impression from "RE: ORC." I thought it was going to be a mixture of Dead Space, and Gears of War. A solid single player experience with a strong multi-player element. And Capcom was more than happy to make people believe that. Instead they give me an amalgamation of Gears of War, Jericho and Vampire Rain.

THIS GAME SUCKS. DO NOT BUY! Seriously. Spend your money on ANYTHING else. Burn it if you have to. You will get infinitely more enjoyment from the outcome of torching your hard earned cash than spending it on this travesty of a "game."

It surprises me how some people think they know what they are talking about... This is a great product first of all. It comes with component cables, but if you want you can use "better" cables. You will need an optical digital cable to get 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound out of your games. DTS is only available for movies that support it. Games can't use DTS so don't expect it. The component cables that come with this work just great and you don't need to spend alot more money on Monster cables. Do you really think that Microsoft would release somthing that could make their system look bad? Unless you have some insane electrical and/or radio interference then you might want to get cables that are even better than Monster's. Another misconception is that just by using these cables with an HDTV you will get HD resolutions of 1800i with all games. That is just not true! Most games such as Halo only use 480p. There is about 1 maybe 2 games (right now) that go as high as 1080i and I that at least one if not both are football games. That's not to say that 480p is bad because it's not. It's a great resolution and seeing as how most launch games didn't have anti-aliasing, but still looked great proves it. Bottom line great product at a great price.

If you have an HDTV or a 5.1 surround sound system, you'll need this to experience the XBox to its fullest.

For only (about) $20, this gives you all the cables you need. However, if you want to use the optical digital output, you'll need to supply your own cable. Also, if you're a cable snob you might want to pick up some higher quality cables. Personally, I think the cables included are just fine.

I saw this in the store the other day and decided to try it out since I have a 53inch HDTV. I wasnt expecting much but I was really suprised at the difference in pictures vs. the standed AV cable that came with the XBOX. After hooking it up, I went to my XBOX control panel to enable 1080i. While I didn't see much difference in Rainbow Six 3, when I popped Madden in, I immediately noticed a difference. The picture seems a lot crisper and sharp, I must say I am plesantly suprised. I then decided to try NCAA football. With the standard AV cable I always found NCAA to be rather grainy and sort of blurry, but after playing the game with the HDAV Pack, the game looked much much better. No more graininess, the picture is as clear as can be. I will have to play Halo for the 100000th time to see if I notice a difference in that as well. This product is worth all 1,999 pennies that it costs. For those that say you can't tell the difference I don't know what to say. Remember to enable it in your XBOX control panel or it won't work. I'm not sure how this works with regular TVs if at all, so that may be your problem too. This is a must have for HDTV owners.

OK I am so stupid. Nearly 3 years after getting this thing, I just now realized that this pack also has an optical connection for digital audio sound. I have no idea why it took me so long to realize this, but now that I have, I plugged in an optical cable to my receiver, and my XBOX games are now able to be enjoyed all over again, true surround sound, the way XBOX games are meant to be played. This makes this even more worth the money.

Honest reviews on Microsoft XBox High Definition AV Pack

I am not sure what everyone is talking about needing another cable, my HD pack came with a cable. There is no optical cable for 5.1 dolby digital, but for [amt] what do you expect. The cable that comes with it allows you to hook up the component video and stereo. Currently all XBox games only output 480p, so all this talk about 1080i is non-sense. The first game that rumor has it will support 1080i is Madden Football. 480p though looks incredible though and this product is a must have if your TV/projector supports component video. The Monster solution may provide a bit better quality solution, but that in no way diminishes the value of this.

But from what I've seen the Monster Cable pack runs $60 and requires a special $35 optical cable to get dolby digital. The MS HD pack runs $20 and uses a standars optical cable which can be picked up for under $20.

There seems to be a lot of misinformation with regard to this HDAV Pack. After having installed and played with it, I will try to set the record right. The pack is all-inclusive. That is to say for twenty bucks, it contains all the cables you need to connect to your HD ready TV. The cables that are included are very basic unshielded component video (3) and RCA audio (2). With this pack, the best you can do right now is a vertical resolution of 480 lines because the output of the setup screen and all the current games, even Halo, are only NTSC and do not take advantage of the potential capability of 1080 lines of resolution. So don't believe those who claim to run Halo at 1080i. That is not to say, however, that Halo at 480 lines isn't gorgeous. Ultimately, if you have an HDTV, you need this pack to take advantage of it.

The glove is great visually with its sequins details. If you have petite hands, it's not going to give you a snug fit and will fall from your hand when dancing as you're doing your best Michael Jackon impersonation. I recommend to the maker of this product offering it in varying sizes for women, men, and children and/or making the material from something that will hug the hand for a secure fit.

I got this as a gift for my brother. When we were little we used to fight over who got to play. The week the password disk was tragic. When the floppy disk became obsolete we were devastated. So glad I can give him another turn. Take the game for what it is. A tongue and cheek quirky humor with some interesting puzzles. You don't get this game for realism or award winning graphics. I would call the style similar to that of the Lego adventure games, but for a slightly older audience. Plus it's from the early 90's so you can't go wrong. Enjoy!

I was hesitant to purchase the PS3 Komodo headset since I didn't see any reviews for it at all. I went to several sites only to discover no reviews. I really needed a PS3 headset but had insufficient funds to purchase the official PS3 headset retail price is $50. I was looking for something less than $20 but with decent quality. I found the PS3 Komodo headset for $12.80 sold by G-Dreamer and highly recommend purchasing from G-Dreamer.

I got PS3 Komodo headset for $12.80 plus standard 3-5 day shipping. I got it fast and in mint condition. I like the design but the gloss makes it look like a toy in my eyes. It's certainly no toy as I charged it for one hour to test the sound quality and left quite impressed. It sync with the PS3 immediately and sound is crystal clear with no crackling noise. For less than $20 with decent sound quality, you can't go wrong.

In conclusion, the PS3 Komodo headset is affordable, features crystal clear sound, soft to the ear and comfortable. I tested my PS3 Komodo headset using Uncharted 2: Among Thieves -Game of The Year editiononline multi-player mode. My friends heard me crystal clear and was even surprised by the sound quality considering I payed less than $20 for it. I highly recommend the PS3 Komodo headset to anyone new to bluetooth and/or anyone looking to save money. Order it from G-Dreamer since he offers the lowest price and is a fast shipper. I am more than satisfied with this product and some of the profit goes to the Kids in Need foundation they provide FREE school supplies to children in need.

*******************UPDATE**********************

After almost a year of owning this headset, I must give you my updated review on how it holds up to the test of time. This is a really uncomfortable headset and it will keep disconnected itself when you think it's turned on. It hangs from the ear instead of firmly being placed on the ear and it's just not a good headset. Still works but it fails at what it's suppose to do in the first place. If you must buy this headset then expect your money to be wasted considering it's not durable and even though it's not broken, it sure as hell might as well be. Save your money and get the Turtle Beach PX21 headset for universal gaming. Now that is definitely a true gaming headset. This headset right here is a toy and nothing else. Have fun!

I bought this headset because I simply refused to pay 50 bucks for the official one. It seems to work just fine, it's a little quiet in your ear and a little uncomfortable to wear for long periods. Overall however, the price was right, people can hear me and it's nice to have playing friends online.

PSMake sure you charge it fully before you use it and make sure it's not charging when you try to connect it to the PS3. For whatever reason, when charging it's off and can't be found by the PS3

I bought a 2 pack of this headset one for me and one for my brother to use on the PS3 for DC Universe Online. Set up is simple. It connected right to the ps3 and worked pretty well for me out of the box. My brother on the other hand took about a week of playing with it to get it to work in game. I shared with him my little ritual for connecting the mic and now it seems to work fine.

DO ALL THIS BEFORE YOU LOAD YOUR GAME!

1st have the Mic completely charged (it will have a blue light on it when plugged up and fully charged)

2nd Turn on the mic

3rd Go to Accessory settings Manage bluetooth device and look to see if your headset have a blue dot beside it (if not turn off the mic and reconnect it)

4th Go to audio settings and blow into the mic and check and see that it is working

5th now load your game

6th Check for any in game settings that you need to turn on for your mic to work. (look for to see if the game is set to push to talk etc...)

I gave this 4 stars because all on all after i got it to work consistently the sound quality is good and the price is excellent. The biggest draw back is that the battery life seems low to me about 3 4 hours on a good night. This is however the 1st bluetooth mic iv had so i cannot say if this is normal or low.

Honest reviews on PS3 Komodo Bluetooth Wireless Headset

I'm usually not the type to give a negative review but I must say everyone would be better off to shell out the extra money and buy the PS3 model headset. I bought two of these one for my friend and one for me so that we could play black ops and talk to each other. Both of us noticed the headset shutting off every 5 minutes or so and the sound quality is less than desirable. Long story short if you are a serious gamer there are many other better options out there.

The original Zumba Fitness video games, released in November 2010 for Wii and Xbox Kinect, sold millions of copies but were admittedly quite lackluster. While it was great to be able to dance Zumba routines to your TV screen, motion tracking on both systems was terrible (something especially disappointing on the then-new Kinect), and the so-called tutorials didn't do a very good job of teaching those new to Zumba.

I'm happy to say that Majesco listened to its users. In November 2011, they introduced Zumba Fitness 2 for the Wii which made great improvements. They added different beautifully designed venues (such as a Yacht in Miami or a Rooftop in New York) complete with crowds of synchronized animated dancers in the background that help put you in that "party mood". They also added a few licensed music tracks, and even used the cartoon versions of real-life Zumba instructors Beto, Tanya Beardsley, and Gina Grant as your virtual trainers. It was a huge improvement over the original.

It took them a few more months to release the sequel for the Kinect (which they're calling Zumba Fitness Rush). I'm happy to say it was worth the wait. The Xbox version has the same new features as the Wii version, and then adds three more Zumba instructors (Kass Martin, Jason Thompson and Erica Pierce), five new venues, and 10 additional music tracks. And of course the Xbox version has much more detailed graphics and glorious hands-free control that works the way it should.

When you start the game, you have six menu options:

1) Single Song: Here, you can just dive into dancing. You can scroll through the list of songs of many different musical styles, ranging from Cumbia to Samba to Batucada to Mambo to Hip Hop. The intensity of the songs range from Low to Medium to High. Most of the songs are Zumba originals, but there are a few licensed tracks (Pause by Pitbull, Poison Remix by Nicole Scherzinger, and We No Speak Americano by Yolanda Be Cool and DCUP).

Dancing works the same way as with most dance games--a Zumba instructor will dance on the screen, and you have to mirror his or her moves. A visual cue card will show up to tell you what move is coming up next (it's animated, which I find much more useful than the cryptic icons in other dance games). Despite the similarities to other dance games, one thing to keep in mind is that Zumba Fitness Rush is an exercise game first. The dance moves are simpler and more repetitive by design. The game is less about fancy choreographed dance moves, and all about aerobic dance steps that get your heart pumping.

Your silhouetted image appears in the lower left-hand corner, so you can compare your poses to the trainer's. I liked the fact that even though my Kinect is only 6 feet from the TV (so my legs are cut off), the game still let me play and still had accurate motion tracking.

For some bizarre reason you don't see numerical scores as you're playing, you just see a row of 5 stars on the bottom of the screen. As you hit your moves, you'll be graded "NICE!", "HOT!", or "ZUMBA!" and your star count will go up accordingly. I found the accuracy to be vastly improved over the original version. You could get a couple "NICE" scores by faking it, but you really had to use to hit the moves precisely using your whole body to get the "ZUMBA!". If you miss a move, the part of your body that missed it will glow red.

After you finish a song, you finally see the numerical score along with the number of calories you burned, the percentage of moves you got right, the number of stars you earned, and a ranking (Zumba Fan, Zumba Rocker, etc.).

Calories burned is a useful addition, but since they don't ask you to input your weight (which is technically needed to calculate calories burned), it's only going to be an approximation. By my rough calculations, it looks like their calorie counts assume an average weight of 175 pounds; if you weigh more or less you'll have to adjust the calorie count higher or lower respectively.

2) Learn the Steps: The tutorial here is much more useful than the one in the first version. You're taught four basic steps of Salsa (Sidestep, Forward and Back, Travel, Backstep), Reggaeton (Stomp, Knee Lift, Destroza, and Bounce), Cumbia (Two Step, Forward and Back, Sleepy Leg, and Sugar Cane), and Merengue (March, Two Step, Six Count, Zumba Shuffle) by the animated Beto himself. You start out doing the steps slowly, and then once you've mastered that you can dance at normal speed. The system will accurately detect if you got the move right, and will check off that move once you do it successfully five times. There are of course many other steps and musical styles within the game, but learning these basic steps will get you warmed up and ready.

3) Zumba World: As of the launch date (2/13/12), the screen here still says "We're sorry, these features are not available yet. But check back soon!". They promise that under this menu option, you'll get the latest in Zumba news, let you locate a local class, and get new routines via DLC.

4) Full Class: Here, you can choose from 15 Short Classes, 15 Mid-Length Classes, 15 Full Length Classes. Classes are really nothing but individual songs strung together; the only real difference between Class mode and Single Song mode is that at the end of the class you can get aggregate statistics all the songs you played, not just one. Classes come in three lengths, short, mid length, and full-length which contain 20, 45, and 60 minutes of music respectively (add 5-20 minutes more to account for breaks between songs and rest time, and you're talking some major time investment). The good news is, you can also design your own class by stringing together your favorite songs. The one annoyance I found about the classes was that as you're going through the songs there's not any indication of how many songs you've danced to and how many there are left to go, which is particularly rough with the longer workouts.

5) Progress Tracker: Here, you can view Statistics (calories burned, total time played, and accuracy) by calendar day, week, or month, view Kinect Achievements (trophies you get for accomplishing various milestones in the game), or view "behind the scenes" videos that you unlock during the course of the game. I do like how you're incentivized to keep playing the game to unlock new trophies and videos.

6) Options lets you turn visual cues on and off, and adjust the sound effects and music volume.

There were a few minor annoyances with the game. Similar to what I said about Classes, while you're playing any song there's no indication of how much time has elapsed in the song and how much left there is to go. The result is an effect where, if you're not familiar with the song, you may start getting that "when is this going to be over?" feeling. I would have liked to see at least an option for displaying some kind of countdown timer on the bottom of the screen.

The graphics are much more stylized than the first version, which can be both a good thing and a bad thing. On the good side, it makes the dancing experience a lot more exciting and immersive. On the negative side, some of the camera changes (e.g., from the trainer to the crowd and back) can really be distracting. Even worse, when you hit a series of moves right, you'll be rewarded with "Euphoria Mode", where the screen flashes a white so bright that you feel like you're being blinded (and ironically, you'll probably miss the next couple of steps because of it).

But the positive features of Kinect Fitness Rush outweigh any negative ones. It's definitely one of the better workout games available for the Xbox. Even with "Low Intensity" songs you'll get your heart rate pumping and will build up a sweat. The dancing is a lot of fun, and scoring is such that beginners won't get discouraged and yet experts will still feel fully rewarded for perfecting their moves.

If you're a Zumba fan, I'd say this is a must-buy if you want to have the Zumba experience at home; it's not quite the same as being in a real gym with a real instructor and fellow dancers, but it's probably the next closest thing to it. If you've always been curious about Zumba, this is a great and inexpensive way to learn it so that if you do sign up for classes you'll already have some experience under your belt.

I had heard about the Zumba craze for a while and how good of a workout it provides. However, not only am I completely out of shape, the dancing gene completely skipped over me. Correction: there was never a dancing gene in my family that I could have inherited. After watching several Zumba classes from afar while sweating on the treadmill at my gym, the verdict was in: I would easily be the most uncoordinated person in that room, bustin' out moves reminiscent of Steve Urkel. Call me self-conscious, but this gal doesn't like making a fool out of herself.

Plus, those classes aren't included in most gym memberships. The thought of a one-time payment for an XBox game is rather appealing instead of dishing out cash for continued group classes.

In terms of a good workout... Oh. My. Gosh. It gets the heart pumping, sweat flowing, and muscles burning -which, of course, means that it's working.

The game breaks down in a lot of different ways. It offers an instructive session on the basic steps for four of the major dancing styles that are incorporated into the songs and routines (salsa, merengue, cumbia, and reggaeton). My one complaint here is that they don't offer instruction on other styles that are used such as mambo and cha-cha for those bumbling klutzes like me. You eventually pick up on them after repetition, but a primer would be nice. These sessions introduce four steps per dance style. They start off slowly to help demonstrate the actual step and then speed up to make sure that you actually have it down. This makes the actual workouts a LOT easier to follow, so I highly recommend going through this first.

The dance routines are classified by intensity levels: high intensity, medium intensity, and low intensity. When you are selecting a song or a workout, you are given a choice of intensity level. The choices also provide you with the "location" of your workout. Your instructor can lead the workout from a variety of backgrounds such as a yacht, Bollywood, a New York alley, a rooftop, Carnivale, etc. You can also preview each song or workout before beginning.

You can opt to do a single song, create your own workout from the available songs, choose a set workout, or try to find a live class.

With the set workouts, you can choose either a short workout (20 minutes), a medium workout (45 minutes), or a full workout (1 hour). The intro to each workout tells you how many songs there are, and each song is prefaced by an update telling you which song in the set you are about to begin. Once you select the length of your workout, you choose the intensity of your workout (low, medium, or high). Don't be fooled; even the low intensity workouts will make you sweat. The length and intensity options of the workouts give you a great starting point if you are really out of shape. You can start small and work your way up without killing yourself, yet still get a good session.

During each song, you will see several different things on the screen aside from the instructor and the background. On your left, there is a meter that grades each of your moves. Not only does it measure the accuracy of each of your steps, but it detects your intensity. More gusto = more points. Along the bottom of your screen are five empty stars. As the dance goes on, these stars will fill up, again based on accuracy and intensity. It doesn't take an expert or a Shakira to get all five stars, so it's actually somewhat of an encouragement. In the bottom left corner, there is a box that shows your silhouette so you can see how good you look. ;) Or in my case, the reason why you're doing this when no one else is looking!!! And as the steps are about to change, a box will appear in the upper right corner to show you the next move so you'll be a step ahead of the game and can keep up with the dance.

At the end of each workout, you are give a summary that shows you how well you did. You get an overall star rating, an accuracy percentage, and your total calories burned. From the main menu, you can also track your overall progress which documents your accuracy, calories burned, time played, etc. It also breaks it down by the dates of your workouts so you can track your fitness and weight loss goals. This also lists the different achievements that you have gotten throughout your different workouts, including hidden, behind the scenes dances that you unlock as you go. I've gotta say, unlocking one of these dances is definitely a good feeling, and it makes you want to keep going. With these achievements and "secret" levels, the workouts become like an actual game. It will engage your competitive side.

When you're going through a workout, the instructors change with every dance. Each instructor seems to have his or her own style or genre. Translation: as soon as the new song is about to start, I know whether or not I'm about to hate my life. One in particular makes me groan every time she pops up on the screen. However, as time goes on, you'll pick up on the steps and styles, and things will get easier.

If you have Zumba experience, getting the hang of this will be a lot easier for you. If you are a newbie like me, it will take some extra time and work -but don't get frustrated. For a while, you will probably get stuck a time or two during the workouts while you try to pick up a new dance move. But if you stick with it, there will be no regrets. Regularly pushing through the pain is well worth it. I was stunned by how quickly I began to see results. I use this as my cardio workout three times a week, and it's actually fun!

If you're serious about getting in shape, this is the way to go. Well worth the money.

Zumba is back with Zumba Fitness Rush!! And what can be said about this sequel? Read on!!

The Cons:

Unlike it's predecessor, the developers decided to remove a crucial fun factor, online multi-player mode. That's right, you can no longer play online with friends in far away places.

Another issue that may affect a few people (especially those with epilepsy) are the constant flashes and de-focus in the game play. I found it quite irritating, especially when a new move was coming up.

The cue cards are a nice addition, but developers, if you're going add them, then put the whole routine of the move in there. It's like you put the move in but then decide to add something else to it. This option can be removed under settings.

In the manual it has a scale and tells you that you are able to edit, but I have yet to find where the edit option is or see the scale appear. You can only see Time, Technique and Calories Burned right now. If anyone sees the scale, please let me know where it is located.

Now for the Pros:

The navigating is great as you can use your hand, voice or controller.

The tracking has improved greatly.

The tutorials in learning the steps has improved as well.

All new music, routines and venues

Routine intensity go from easy to medium to high

The classes are fun and you will sweat your pants off big time.

Your choice of classes are Short Class (20 mins), Medium Class (45 mins) and Full Class (60 mins)

You can create your own playlist of songs (up to 12) and dance away without having to stop (you still have your choice of doing a single song as well).

It has a Dance Central type scoring system (the star system) and there you can get Nice, Hot or Zumba

It also shows the body part that needs work with a red silhouette.

So with all that said, would I recommend Zumba Fitness Rush? I'll say yes. Despite what it lacks, the pros still outweigh the cons!!

Enjoy, I know I will!!

Update: February 16th, 2012

After using it for nearly a week, I will say you will get use to the flashing which is Euphoria and they've updated it that you can now share on your awards on Facebook right from the game!! I'm loving it!! I can see this being my staple workout for a long time!!

Honest reviews on Zumba Fitness Rush - Xbox 360

I Zumba at a studio at least 2-3 times a week and this Zumba game is an amazing comperable experience. The game does a great job of breaking the moves down, but also allows advanced Zumba dancers to jump right in and get dancing. There are tons of new songs, new moves, and great graphics. If you Zumba you know you will work up quite the sweat all the while keeping a huge simpe on your face. Unlike the old game they dont have super long breaks between songs, so you keep your heart rate up your workout going. I'm so incredibly sore, and sweaty after I do this game and feel i can trade the gym off with this game a few times a week. I also noticed if your are doing the opposite/wrong move, the camera focuses on that spot so you can view it from several angles.

I also own dance central 1/2 as well as just dance 3 and this is way more fun and a better workout. I've even had some friends over to play this game with me and the dancing side-by-side scoring is accurate and easy for both people to use.

This game is fantastic! Best Fitness Game on Xbox Really what are you waiting for BUY it!

The video quality and menu navigation are 100% better than with the first game. I burn 500-600 calories on average with the full length class. I think this game comes in second only to dance central 2--with a slightly better calorie burn going towards zumba and higher fun factor to dc2. I love that I can do any class without having to first "unlock" it. The variety of classes and sets are fabulous.

I'd say this game is almost perfect. Things I dislike are:

1) The flashing lights are distracting but I got used to them.

2) I don't like when the screen sometimes navigates away from the main character at the start of a new step.

3) Animated cue cards are great but are not available for each new move.

4) Missing a sense of connection. Weird as it sounds I miss the occasional dialog from the first game. It gave me a sense of connection... The video quality is fabulous but some of the dancers have a really blank expression.

5). I wish there was more than one cool down. I hate that song and dance. :p. I miss the cool down from the first game. Since I only do this to work out I'll probably do my own cool down. Hey does anyone else think the cool down dancer would look like a character from avatar if she were blue? Phenomenal figure!

All in all I highly recommend the game for the workout and serious calorie burn---without the soreness the next day! This and

dance central 2 will tide me over until the next versions. I don't care about scoring. For me, the most important things are: Will it burn tons of calories? Yes! Will it keep me coming back for more? Yes!

Scooby-Doo: Mystery Mayhem Reviews

My son is 4 years old and I had bought him the first Scooby Doo game (Night of 100 Frights) thinking that it would be great to start him off. That game is, frankly, way too hard for kids his age (some of the levels were nearly impossible for me to get past). I wasn't sure when I bought this one, if I was just going to be subjecting us to more frustrationbut he saw the commercials and desperately wanted it.

My first impressions are that it is MUCH easier to navigateas there are actually some hints as you go along helping you accomplish tasks to move forward. In this game, Scooby and Shaggy travel around togetherand you can switch between whether you want Scooby leading the way or Shaggy. And, this time around, the goal isn't to eat all the Scooby Snacks along the way you have to find clues and accomplish tasks to move through each location. There are helpful little animated scenes that play at certain pointsand if you walk away from the game for more than a few minutes, Shaggy droops over and starts snoring loudly. It's cute.

We are still just beginning to learn how to play this gameand are not hardcore gamers by any stretchso I can't give technical features of the game. I would say the graphics are goodpretty true to the cartoon, and the music is not terribly thrilling, but definitely in keeping with creeping along in spooky places.

I would reccomend Mystery Mayhem for game players in the 4-10 age range or so.

Hope this helps!

Okay, put in the disc; watch the re-vamped 3-D classic Scooby intro while your kids dance around. Now turn your x-box back off -nothing good will come of actually *playing* this game.

Really. If your kids are good enough gamers to successfully play this game, they're going to find it repetitive, confusing, and stupid. If they're too young or unskilled to successfully navigate a mine cart through about ten successive rounds of 'turn left!', 'turn right!', 'jump that boulder you can't actually see!', 'ooh, you missed -start over again at the beginning!' you're either going to find yourself playing the blasted thing for them or hiding it when they're not looking. As a not-so-hot-gamer, it took me about an hour to get through the aforementioned mine cart level -I vote for hiding the game.

Which is really my biggest complaint: this game is just too hard for young kids. Had they included an actual 'easy' level your average five year old was capable of finishing, it wouldn't be so awful. As it is, with the lack of save points, even fewer save slots (why!?), and scooby-snacks (necessary for restoring health) that don't regenerate, you're going to find yourself playing certain pointless and frustrating sections of the game over, and over, and OVER again, until you finally get it perfect.

And as I can vouch, my 10, 8, and 5 year old Scooby-Doo lovin' gamers handed me the controls over and over again. (Did I mention the importance of hiding the game *well*?) And by the time I finished whatever stupid thing they were stuck on, *none* of us cared anymore. Total target market failure, imho.

But what about the plot, you wonder? While you *can* collect clues and take them to Velma (good luck on finding all of them, btw) your characters are so busy being pushed on fetch quests, monster hunts, or mini-games that the mysteries serve only to begin and end each level. Controls? Mushy. Sound and picture are the only things I can even *begin* to recommend.

Sadly, this is yet another francise game that *could* have been fun -the concept is okay. Too bad they couldn't actually build a game worth playing.

This was the first Xbox game I got. I was 6-ish when I got it. This game is amazing and sooo much fun! You can play as Scooby or Shaggy and switch when ever you want. The only part I could never pass was at the very end of the game. I STRONGLY reccomend this game to anyone looking for a game for their kids 4-10. Heck I'm 14 and i still love to play this game. It is easy enough for younger children to play but is still challenging enough to keep the older generation entertain for hours on end. The graphics are amazing considering how old the game is, and the characters look very true to the cartoon. In all I highly recomend this game to any one who loves the cartoons.

..and some patience. 'Assassin's Creed 2' is one of my favorite all-time video games and buying this trilogy collection, which includes it's DLC and two sequels ('Brotherhood' and 'Revelations') was a no-brainer. Unfortunately the way the games are packaged onto the disc is a bit strange and the HD space required to run all three games may turn off some gamers.

The first thing that booted up when I popped in the 'Ezio Trilogy' disc.....was 'Assassin's Creed: Revelations' (the third game in the trilogy). There's no in-game menu, no automatic way to switch to playing the other two games. I had to quit 'Revelations' (after it's mandatory 4+GB install) and after selecting AC2 and Brotherhood from the dashboard menu the games install....I mean COMPLETELY install to your HD. By the time I had AC2, Brotherhood and Revelations ready to play I had taken up 17 GB on my hard drive. Even stranger you're still required to have the disc in your system to be able to play each game (unless you want to play Revelations you'd probably want your auto-run turned off). To be fair it DOES say what's required on the back of the box and you can always just install AC2 OR Brotherhood by themselves (each takes up about 6-7 GB's) but those hoping to have all three games play off one disc will find these features a nuisance.

I will say 'AC2' and 'AC:Brotherhood' play beautifully on the PS3 without any of the bugs I remembered from their initial launches (UBISOFT did a great job cleaning things up). Graphics are smooth as ever and being able to climb buildings around renaissance-era Italy and Ottoman-ruled Turkey is still incredibly fun. Story-wise I'll never warm to Desmond's present-day narrative but getting involved in Ezio's quest for revenge and discovery is just as compelling as I remembered.

I'm not against having the option to install games to your HD I just don't like it being a requirement. 'The Ezio Trilogy' comes with three great games and if you can deal with this package's quirks the $40 price is a steal (individually they're $20 each if you download them off the network w/o AC2's DLC). Just be aware this is NOT like PS3's platinum collections and if you don't have a bigger HD be ready to free up some space.

When I saw this trilogy was coming out, I knew it would be a great way to catch up on the series as I just received the AC3 500GB PS3 bundle for my birthday in November. I waited until I saw the first price drop (down to $30 the other day = $10 per game!), and snagged this up.

This is a GREAT bundle for those who are either new PS3 owners (new PS3's have a lot of HDD space) or PS3 owners new to the Assassin's creed series. All of my friends who played the entire series told me I didn't need to play the first one, but to read up on the story online instead.

Yes, it takes 17GB of space to install ACII and AC:B on the PS3, and yes you need the disk to play any of the 3 games at all times. In no way are either of these things good reasons not to buy this bundle. There are so many resources showing how to add hard drive space, so that shouldn't be too much of a problem.

The day I bought this for $30, ACII was $15, AC:B was $18, and AC:R was $25. Even at $40, this trilogy is still a good deal. If you would rather pay more to have 3 disks and use less HDD space more power to you!

This trilogy only comes with the ACII DLC, but for newcomers to the series, I would recommend reading reviews on DLC for the other 2 games before buying any of it, as many see the added content as not being worth the additional money.

As far as the 3 games included, refer to each individual game's product page for full review there.

So I was looking forward to this product, than I got it. First off the games are on one disc, but you have to completely install 2 and as if you downloaded the game. To have all three games you will need 17 GB of hard drive space. What is worse you still need the disc to play, 2 and Brotherhood, even though the entire game is on your hard drive. It is ridiculous 17GB is way to much.

The set is still a good deal, you are getting the games much cheaper than if you bought them individually but it would be nicer if they came on three discs and did not require so much hard drive space, or at least let you play with out the disc.
