Cheap eForCity Ultra Series - HDMI-M to DVI-M Cable ( 15 FT / 4.6 M )
well i wanted a cable where i could do console gaming on a pc monitor or laptop, im no tech junkie tho. This cable works but doesn't display with audio, only video. soooo... pretty much useless cable for me, but over all during the two minutes of usage i had with it the quality looked top-notch and would recommend it to any one who does not mind not hearing anything... cheers.

the other guy says he recomends not to screw it down. i disagree with him there, are they breakable yes very BUT only when installing it. after u got the case on theres not a very good chance of u cracking this thing, i got two now a clear and green i actually cracked the top a little on the clear one. not fully my fualt tho cause these cases fit very tightly. also like the other guy said its hard not to get gaps i disagree there to. ive never had that problem. if u got gaps either the case is to big or u didnt install it the right way. this does not take a master mind to install or instructions. very simple but like he said NOT FOR KIDS takes kind hands to install it cuz the case has no bend to it. the first time u strecth this thing ur going to crack it. BUT DONT LET THAT CHANGE UR MIND GHOST CASE IS NOT ONLY THE ONLY CASES MADE FOR XBOXS BUT THEY ARE THE BEST LOOKING AND QUALITY. FOR 20 DOLLARS U CANT GO WRONG. To start this is a review for the Ghostcase made for the original Xbox from the early 2000's not the 360! The kit includes the top half of the Xbox, the front strip for the disc tray, the console power/disc buttons, and the overlay for the disc tray. [There is no led light included with this kit] There is also no bottom half and there's a valid reason for that not being there,a lot of people were complaining about this missing (it pays to read the description of what you're buying). This is also no where near easy to put on your console. It can crack very easily and it will take a lot of trial and error (and filing) to get it to fit perfectly with out gaps so I wouldn't recommend letting small children do it or it will break I also don't recommend screwing it down because of the cracking. For the price if you put it on right and yours isn't cracked in the mail its a nice buy. Review of Operation Flashpoint Elite - Xbox
Operation Flashpoint was one of the best military games ever to come out for PC, and this is pretty much just a direct port of that game over to Xbox. So, if you have already played all the missions on PC, they're all here, unchanged on the Xbox version, so you might be a little bored with it
Other than that, this game is perfect. You hear some people bitch because the graphics aren't Halo level or whatever, but they're fine and really the fact that things look a little hazy farther away adds to the realism.
If you never played Operation Flashpoint on PC, I can't recommend this game highly enough. Ghost Recon was basically just a Flashpoint rip off, and Flashpoint does it better and offers you a more open ended experience, especially when compared with Ghost Recon 2 and its add ons.
Considering the fact that the terrains included are FIVE 12 kilometer x 12 kilometer (or about 8 mile x 8 mile) completely unique islands where having skill at reading a topographical map is a distinct advantage, the graphics are excellent. HDR lighting, real-time shadows, depth-of-field effects, multiple LOD's, a completely realistic moving starfield, real-time day/night cycle and lighting, flying insects and birds with their own A.I., real tidal cycles and wave action proportionate to the state of the weather. The list goes on. Soviet soldiers have never looked so realistic in a PC game.
The developers somehow managed to take a game that ran with 256 Megs of RAM and make it work WELL on a console with 64 Megs of RAM.
A great deal of lies are being told about this game, probably because it is such an EMBARRASSMENT to all of the many watered-down titles claiming to be tactical-shooters, World War II Online and the very old "SEAL Team" by Electronic Arts probably being the only two exceptions.
In considering whether to buy this title, one might consider that Operation Flashpoint: Elite is basically the first military SIMULATION to grace the X-Box.
If you want to play a game that actually simulates real Army combined-arms operations, then this is the game for you. You cannot, however, scratch its depth in a 30-minute taste. The more you explore the gameplay and the islands, the greater your realization will be that this is the tactical shooter you've always wanted to play.
If you would rather be playing Halo or Doom, this game is not for you. For those who used to play Doom on the PC because they did not know that "SEAL Team" existed, Operation Flashpoint: Elite will feel like the tactical playground you've always wanted.

This is a great game. If you can get past the bad graphics, you will find a deep and imersive shooter. Of corse, if you want a modern day military simulation, you might want to try America's Army. If you want a little less realism try Ghost Recon. But if you want the best military sim ever, buy this game.
Grabbed this in hopes of having a solid military sim on console. While the game takes pride in providing a relatively hardcore experience in this respect, poor aiming more than does the job at turning your time with the game into an infuriating one. With a shooter, especially on a controller, you need the aiming to be as precise and smooth feeling as possible. It really just makes most engagements a chore to take on.
Add ugly, muddy visuals with lots of fogging and you have a product that neither plays well, nor is it anything to look at.
Sadly, I say avoid. Even with the lack of proper military sims on console, this one simply is not worth your time.

Are you in to realistic military games? Have you logged over 40 hours into Ghost Recon? Have you played Socom: U.S Navy Seals at your friends house more times than he has? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you will love this game. When you start up this game, you will proboly notice that the graphics aren't that good. That is the only flaw about this game. In 2001 this game was realeased on the PC, and it was great. It was basically an offline Battlefield 1942. Now thatit is on the X-Box it carries over the awesome action of the PC version and adds nice control and x-box live functionality.(Not a lot of people play online so you might have to do some searching) This game is a dedicated military simulation that takes place near the mid 80's. So you WW2 enthusiests might want to look elsewhere. This game also features a mission creator which isn't just a level creator. You choose both teams weapons, vehicles(there are a lot to choose from), and Spawn Points.This is a great game. If you can get past the bad graphics, you will find a deep and imersive shooter. I recommended this game for those of you who like realistic shooters and don't mind the poor graphics and cheesy audio. This game has a high replay ability if you want to complete the two campaigns that add up to 60 missions, play some short instant action missions, create your own missions with a mission editor, and you can play multiplayer with ai bots! Now I am sure you are thinking "what bots?", but I assure you that their are multiplayer bots. In order to play with bots you need to open up a system link game,but get this I figured out a way to use system link with ONLY ONE XBOX, when you open the system link game it will ask you to please connect to another xbox, but if you just simply take a Ethernet cord or xbox system link cord and plug one end into your xbox and another into your laptop or computer (i used a Mac but PC will also work)this will cause the pop up message to disapear allowing you to go to the server menu and selecting create your own game. There are a number of maps and multiplayer modes, but I have not tried them all. The mode that seems to be most fun it free for all mode. When I played capture the flag I spawned with my team of 4 or 5 and I could not find the enemy team. I was killed by them but i never saw them and I dont believe they even tried to go for my flag, but I was playing with their difficulty on recruit so maybe that explains it. Overall it can be a fun game with tanks and helicopters that are hard to control at first, but you will get the hang of it. I know a lot of gamers are getting tired of the same old and oft-repeated WW2 shooters. But the criticisms I've heard about this game hardly seem justified. The graphics are crisp with good frame rates and smooth play. The AI soldiers seem to react in a far more efficient and realistic manner. Also there are some great new wrinkles.
Two new features I love are the character and weapon development. The idea of incorporating character skill development into a WW2 shooter is fantastic, and while things like weapon upgrades aren't--of course--very realistic, they add an enjoyable new dimension to the gameplay. Also, parachuting into combat is really cool.
So far, I've found the control layout to be smooth and efficient--not always a given with this series. Another plus is the far less linear nature of the missions and combat. Instead of simply moving from point A to B and so on, you're generally just given a set of mission objectives and then left to work them out on your own--with far more opportunity for using terrain and flanking options to achieve success.
All in all, a very satisfying purchase and the first true next-gen WW2 shooter.
In order to bring something new into gameplay the creators of Airborne made the game into "open world" level maps. You begin each mission with a briefing of objectives, weapons selection followed by you jumping off a plane with a parachute. And this is where the open world concept is used; you can land anywhere on the battlefield map and engage the enemy in close combat or snipe them from afar. It is not linear like most FPS that force you to go along path to advance through the level. The way to advance in Airborne is to kill enemy germans in any of the battles taking place at the same time. If you leave an area of battle and head to a different part of the map, you will encounter more enemies and alllied bots engaging in battle.
Since there are mini battles taking place all over the map, this lets you devise a strategy for flanking enemy positions and sometimes even coming up behind them to gun them down. You can also land on roofs of houses and go jumping from one roof to the next while shooting down at the enemy positions on the ground levels. You can pick up ammo and switch to weapons dropped by dead enemies. Although you use the same basic WWII weapons found in most FPS, Airborn lets you upgrade your weapons the more you use it by killing enemies. You can get faster reloads, steady aim, bigger ammo clip and a few surprise attachements.
I know that I will get a lot of flak for this (pun intended), but even with its open world design and upgradeable weapons, MOH Airborne, did not meet my expectations for a next gen title. There are no destructible objects, multiplayer is boring, and the missions do not get my adrenaline pumping up. There is just nothing remarkable about it to justify me purchasing yet another WWII shooter when, Call of Duty is still more intense and immersive than Airborne. And consider the fact the COD is an older title.

Airborne is not an easy game even with the easy difficulty. Prepare to die many times. The AI is smart as are your men(though sometimes they don't follow you).
Overall, there are a total of six missions including once again Operation Market Garden and the last part of this mission is a direct rip off of Call of Duty: Roads to Victory (if you played it you know what I am talking about).
All in all, Medal of Honor: Airborne is a game you should get if your a fan of the series or just plain WWII games. And though it is fairly short, it should keep you busy until Call of Duty 4 is released.

What's nice about this is you're actually thinking rather than automatically moving through the map shooting helpless opponents.
My only "problem" with this game is that later in playing, one opposes a "Nazi Storm Elite" soldier who is dressed in the black Schutzstaffel uniform, wearing body armor and is walking around with a MG-42 in his hands! While elite troops within the ranks of the S.S., called "Viper Troops", wore armor and were far superior to their Werhmacht counterparts, they become too frequent in the final mission and unfortunately resemble the "bosses" in either Wolfenstein 3D or Medal of Honor: European Assult. However, the satisfaction of overcoming them is quite enjoyable!
This game is terrific! The graphics are unbelievable, music is from Michael Giaochinno from MOH: Frontline, so there is that connection between the two strongest games in the series. I can't reccomend this game high enough. It's a must have!

Medal of Honor Airborne for the Xbox 360 is a WWII First Person Shooter (FPS). I have been a long time fan of the Medal of Honor series ever since I played the first one on the old Playstation system. I even enjoyed the European Assualt title and thought that the fire fights were a lot more intense than the ones in Airborne. Don't get me wrong this is a next gen game, but the matter of fact is that WWII games have been done to death. With so many great titles out there within the same genre, Airborne does not push the concept far enough to win over the competition. You are still fighting on with the same assortment of weapons (pistols, submachine guns, assualt rifles, sniper, bazzooka and a few others) you are still fighting the nazi regime, you are still running through houses for close combat and fighting outdoors in the countryside for long range combat. Forget Call of Duty 3. Forget scripted blah blah blah missions. Forget endless waves of drone enemies who will let you destroy divisions of them if only you had the ammo. Airborne is fantastic! Non linear boards, intelligent enemy, great weapons, beautiful looks and sound...this game has anything you would want in a WW2 shooter. I was hesitant on the upgradeable weapons, but the upgrades are all genuine components like forward pistol grips (we call them "Ghetto Grips" in the Army today), improved muzzle breaks, better sights, larger magazines, and the ability to fire a limited number of rifle grenades off some. No death rays or anything stupid like that. Very well done game. It can be quite challenging, and patience is a must in this. You can't run and gun your way to Berlin. Ill make the suggestion right off, jump with the 1903 Sniper Rifle on every mission, ditch it for a Garand or whatever else, and come back and get it when you need it. That was the only way I could get through some of those boards. Really though, it was an excellently done game that reminded me quite a bit of Band of Brothers. No moronic squad stuff, no linear missions, no "I didn't want to be here" feeling sorry for myself garbage like in the Company of Heroes. The gameplay in Yars Revenge is addicting, fast paced, and very fun. This Game Boy Color version is much better then the version bundled on the Game Boy Advange with Pong and Asteroids. I know this because I had originally bought Yars Revenge for Game Boy Color used for about 2 bucks. At first, I could't figure out what to do in the game and didn't understand the goal. After I got the hang of this game I was HOOKED!!! It was the best 2 bucks I ever spent. Then, one day I popped the cartrige into my system, and it wouldn't fire up. Attempt after attempt to boot the game up failed: the game had inexplicably stopped working! I had played the game without a problem earlier in the day, too. So, since it broke I thought I'd buy the GBA version....wow, what a rip-off. For 15 bucks I got a slow paced, lower-rez graphics (yes) and much worse version of the game. Don't get me wrong, Asteroids and Pong are allright, but with no high score saves this compilation is lacking. Since the GBA Yars was such a dissapointment I hopped onto Amazon and once again purchased one of the most fun arcade style games EVER: Yars Revenge.
The storyline and main character in this game are very odd and unique. I won't spoil them for you. If you haven't heared of this game already and like arcade games or addicting games, this is a MUST BUY!!! The only downfall is that it won't work on your DS, so you have to bust out a GBA, GBC or original Game Boy to play it! And yes, this Game Boy Color software is backwards compatible with the ORIGINAL Game Boy hardware! How cool is that? I'd love to play this game on an original GB, too bad mine is gone for good :(

This one's a classic, folks. I don't remember 'Yar's Revenge' being one of the "bigger name" games on Atari. It wasn't a 'Pac Man' or a 'Space Invaders', but it was definately a fun game. I loved it back then and I love it now. The Game Boy port of the title is excellent. The game is just as I remembered it. The only noticable difference is that the playing field is larger than the Game Boy's screen, meaning it will have to scroll in order to get to the other side. This is a minor footnote, however, and is an obstacle that will quickly be overcome. If you loved this game in the 80's and own a game boy, grab it up!Buy Yoshi's Story
As you may have read, the general consensus is that Yoshi's Story is a fine 2D platformer for children to play, but offers little challenge for the rest of the market. I strongly disagree with this.
I have been an avid gamesplayer for nigh on 11 years, from the NES (Famicom) right through to the N64. I own virtually every Mario/Yoshi title, and Yoshi's Story is my favourite to date.
True, if a player just plunders through the game, it can be finished within an hour, two at most. But dedicated gamers will find themselves caught in the real groove. The hook in this game is to NURUTRE your Yoshi.
Different fruits are favoured/disfavoured by each Yoshi. A casual gamer who just wants another straightforward platformer will find such mushy sentiment ludicrous and down as many of any kind of fruit possible to finish the game. However, a devoted gamer will discover the joy in sniffing out and hunting down their Yoshi's favourite fruit.
All Yoshi's love melons, and to find all 30 in one course, as well as the three hearts needed to unlock each world, AND to discover the secret White and Black Yoshis, PLUS killing every shyguy to make Yoshi's happiness quota higher, not to mention finding power bees, and collecting every coin from every course to unlock a rumoured 'hidden' Yoshi, is a gargantuan task indeed. Of course, there a those who just won't care about all this. But to those few dedicated gamers, who, like me, appreciate the subtler side of computer entertainment, I urge you, BUY THIS GAME!
FYI, I got to the end credits in an hour. A year on, I'm still looking for all the secrets. And this is a gamer whos finished each and every Zelda game (excluding Majora's Mask) within six weeks, tops.

the game has great graphics, and good gameplay, good characters, and great levels. But, this game is not quite for people 11 years old and up. The game is a great game for little kids, its one of those non-violent, friendly games. Even the boss, that thing could hardly scare anything. So, if you have little kids(3-8) buy the game for them, they'll love it, especially since its short and difficult looking, that way, when your kids finish the game, they'll think they can master anything! Plus, it has good kid music and friendly cute looking worlds, and all those cute yoshis make such cute noices. The product arrived in 2 days in good order. It is a good quality wheel with a good feel. The pedals are large enough and well spaced. The wheel comes with an installation CD and a bundled game. The biggest problem I had was during installation. At one point it asks for you to insert the Windows '98 CD into the drive. My Dell computer did not include this CD so I was stuck without a necessary driver. After some time searching the internet, I was able to get the driver and complete the installation. Once over this hurdle, everything went well. The wheel is easy to set up and it works with all the games I have tried. The 6 buttons are easy to program for shifting gears, lights, horn or whatever you wish. By the end of the day the whole family was engrossed in Need For Speed High Stakes. The force feedback experienced with most games is amazing! You will feel bumps and turns and other cars hitting you. One thing to note is that if you have a heavy foot, the pedals may slide away from you, even on carpet. I have not used other force feedback wheels but I could definitely recommend this one an excellent option!
Likes: 1. The rubberized red pads and cut-outs make the wheel much, much nicer than the all-plastic wheels out there 2. Anyway, I was now addicted to this stupid game, so I searched Amazon.com for a "real" steering wheel. After checking the customer reviews I settled on this one. I don't plan on using it all the time, so I didn't want to spend a fortune, and for a few extra bucks the force-feedback feature seemed like it would be fun. It is.
The unit installed easily in Win 98, but I have to agree with another reviewer that the wiring on this thing is nuts. The pedals are already on the floor, so why not attach all the cables to that, then run one cable to the wheel? Also, the USB cable from the wheel to the computer isn't very long. I'll probably pick up an extension, and you may need one, too.

Also, the wheel clamps securely to just about any desk, but if you have a slide out keyboard drawer, like I do, you may have problems. Many games require use of the keyboard, and I can't pull mine out when the wheel is attached. I had to move the keyboard out of the drawer to get to it.
As for play: The wheel makes driving games a lot more fun. It has a good feel to it, the feedback isn't bad, but like another reviewer admitted I'm also spoiled. I have a Porsche 911, and this wheel and a game can't come close. I can tell when I'm off the road, and I can tell when I've hit something, and there's even some road feel (when I drive over cobblestones the whole desk shakes), but it's not even close to the real thing. Not that I would know what it feels like to hit a lot of trees, fences, and other cars. We're simply talking road feel here.
Still, it's a lot of bang for the buck, and they even give you a free game with it. You'd think they'd give you something that would really show off the wheel, but they don't. However, for [the price]the combination of the wheel and the game is a damn good deal. Even better when you discover that older versions of Need For Speed, and similar programs, are really cheap.

I took the wheel out and mounted it to the lip of my computer desk using the two screw down plastic clamps provided underneath the wheel. I thought the clamps looked flimsy, and would probably break easily! However, I have been playing for days now and the wheel is completely stable and does not move nor suffer from "plastic flex"! Just make sure you do _not_ overtighten them when you screw them down! Just get them secure, they WILL hold if you do it properly. I find the wheel to be the perfect size for my desk, I can keep it attached and use my keyboard and mouse without any problems at all.
Next, I positioned the foot pedals on the floor. My desk has a bottom board, and I put the foot pedals up against it so they won't slide. They have a jack similar to a telephone, and it plugs directly into the righthand side of the wheel. The A/C adapter plugs in next to the phone-jack type port for the pedals, and is very lightweight!
Then, I started up my computer and installed the software. You put the disk in, and it comes up with a menu that lets you install it. If you already have another Logitech device, such as a Wingman joystick, then you don't need to install the software! It uses the same stuff! Once the software is installed, you simply plug the USB connector into your computer, and POOF! The system will immediately make any changes it has to, and you can start using your wheel! I would strongly suggest a calibration before use.
The wheel and pedals are very durable, and work flawlessly. The paddle shifters are easy to reach and use! I find the best game to use this wheel with is Need for Speed: Underground. They make a great combo.
It takes a slight breaking in period to get used to using a wheel. While it makes the game very realistic, remember that it is still up to the game programmers to provide good game physics for using it! I've also played with a Microsoft Force Feedback wheel at a friend's house, and I like this Logitech a lot better!
Unfortunately, the Formula Force is no longer available, being replaced instead by the Formula Force GP. The Formula Force GP (which was shipped to me by mistake by a vendor claiming to sell the original Formula Force) is a much cheaper wheel, and it shows in every aspect of its performance.
For one, the wheel uses a gear driven system instead of a cable driven system, and this limits the responsiveness of the wheel when continuously varying biasing force is needed, for instance, when the force on the wheel is intended to communicate the slip angle of the front wheels.
In addition, the gear-driven system produces a lot of inertia in the wheel and that inertia interferes with the feedback coming through the wheel. It also causes the wheel to have a perceived resisting feedback, even when the wheel should not be resisting your motion.
The pedals are adequate and have a good, progressive response, but they lack any grip surface on the bottom, or sufficient space on the side to use your left foot to brace the base of the pedals in position (both features on the original Formula Force). If you are using them on a surface other than carpet, they will tend to slip away from you.
The wheel provides two "paddles" and four buttons, the same as the previous model Formula Force, but the "paddles" are actually small buttons on the back of the wheel that are much harder to reach when quick reflexes are desired, or if you are attempting to operate the paddles while the wheel is turned significantly. Also, two of the four buttons are positioned at an angle that is awkward for your thumbs to reach.
In short, this is a passable wheel and pedal set, and for the money, may not be a bad choice. However, compared to the original Formula Force wheel from Logitech which it replaces, this wheel is a serious disappointment. If you can find an original Formula Force, or a Formula Force Momo from Logitech, they are better constructed and better performing products.

The Formula Force GP wheel is a very comfortable, responsive USB steering wheel. I've been running it with Windows 2000, and have had not a bit of trouble with it, in fact, it has added a significant amount of fun and realism to my driving games. This, added to the low price (compared to other wheels) I paid ($49, after rebates) has made the wheel one of the best additions I have made to my computer.Likes: 1. Okay, I'm in my mid 50s and copy of Need For Speed jumped off the shelf into my cart the last time I went shopping. I installed the game and played it for awhile, first using the keyboard (can't be done), and then using a flight yoke I have. That was okay, but braking and accelerating was difficult, and I was all over the place as the yoke just didn't cut it.Anyway, I was now addicted to this stupid game, so I searched Amazon.com for a "real" steering wheel. I ordered the Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP w/ foot pedals on a late Sunday afternoon, using the super saver free shipping. I believe Amazon reports that the free shipping takes 7 9 days to be delivered? Tuesday afternoon at 4pm, almost exactly 48 hours later, the wheel was at my house! It arrived in a brand new, excellent, unscathed condition.I took the wheel out and mounted it to the lip of my computer desk using the two screw down plastic clamps provided underneath the wheel. I thought the clamps looked flimsy, and would probably break easily! However, I have been playing for days now and the wheel is completely stable and does not move nor suffer from "plastic flex"! Just make sure you do _not_ overtighten them when you screw them down! Just get them secure, they WILL hold if you do it properly. I find the wheel to be the perfect size for my desk, I can keep it attached and use my keyboard and mouse without any problems at all.

These included the Need for Speed series (particularly Porsche Unleahsed) and the Colin McRae Rally series. When the potentiometers in the pedals began to behave erratically causing sudden and unpredictable changes in the amount of throttle pedal that the wheel would indicate, I attempted to replace it.Unfortunately, the Formula Force is no longer available, being replaced instead by the Formula Force GP.
