Buy 1942: Joint Strike
I'm a big fan of these old school shooters and this one is a great remake. Feels like the old arcade, but with a nice twist, and has co-op play too. A definite must have for Xbox Live Arcade!

Chromo Inc.® Black Wireless Bluetooth Controller for sony PS3 Reviews
Not a Bad Buy at allllll. much cheaper then the sony one. its great for most games but let me warn you that Shooter games will be more difficult to handle due to the analog sticks. hard to explain to be honest. they dont always let you Aim your gun Accurately and can realy screw you over. as for a racing games or other such games its a great product. it looks veryy identical to a Brand Sony Controller with minor different Details. i hade no issues with any of the bottons, though you will notice there not as easy to push in as sony brand. the bottoms will take a bit more of force. also yes the Wireles DOESS work on this controller. it was already fully charged when i got it but i hade to sync it with my USB Cable Wire. it does NOT include its own wire so you must already have one. not sure how long it will last without the wire connected but i did play wireles for 2 full hours, im sure itl last even longer. good buy, but not the best for shooters.
Works out of package
Buttons feel good in hand
Analog Sticks are stiff out of box (Signs or new Control)
Works With PC (using Motion-joy)
This is a Dual shock Control
This is a Six axis Control
Looks like OEM Controller without Sony Brand.
Built Well enough
Both Usb and Bluetooth Functions work properly
Lights on control tested and working
Cons:
Not Sure if Buttons work properly no problems yet tho
Did not come with Usb Charge cable
You can tell this is a 3rd party.
Wireless Signal About 20 Feet give or take.
Its Made in China
I got this because my boys constantly try to destroy my OEM PS3 controllers, they can take this one apart without fear of losing a $50 Control. It looks and feels like an original, And it plays well on both Ps3 And PC. For the price ill take three. I dont like buying cheep items but this is OK less the 20 bucks..Groovy
This controller didn't work at all, the bottom were really hard to push, my kids were no able to used this, so I return it and got my money back. :(

Best Real Arcade Pro: 3 Premium VLX - Playstation 3 Deals
This is the ultimate fighting stick and truly brings the arcade experience home. The sheer size and weight of the stick brings home the point that this is the king of all arcade stick controllers.
It is designed in collaboration with TAITO to recreate the TAITO "VEWLIX" Arcade cabinet. The stick uses authentic Sanwa stick and buttons and has other functions classic to the Real Arcade Pro. series like the turbo and the stick control toggle function. It also has a non-slip surface on the entire bottom and comes with an additional option board that you can mount the controller on to further enhance your stability.
The main feature for this controller has to be the fact that you can easily access the internal of the controller by simply unscrewing 3 screws. Maintenance and customization is a breeze to any other controllers out there.
Overall, this controller addresses all the players wants and needs and is a masterpiece of a arcade stick controller.
A must buy for any player serious for an authentic arcade experience.
I purchased the stick when it was on sale here for $65 off the list price and it was worth every penny.
I've used several joysticks (Hori Fighting Stick 2, HRAP3, MadCatz SE (with full Sanwa) and TE Round 1 FightSticks) and the VLX would be my weapon of choice any day. When using it on a table the rubber bottom ensures the stick will not move. The wooden option board is a nice touch as well if you want to mount your stick to it, but I find simply placing the stick on the board works well. Note the stick does not have any protruding rubber feet to potentially interfere with lap use. Lap use may not be as comfortable compared to other sticks due to the weight (12 lbs) but you'll get used to it. In comparison the HRAP3 weighs 5.7 lbs.
LOOKS:
The VLX is the most beautiful mass produced stick I've seen yet. While most of the black parts of the stick are matte the rest provides a nice glossy contrast. The top art is a nice metallic red with some mirror accents and you really need to either see the VLX in person or watch some videos to see how light interacts with the glossy parts.
SOUND:
The sound of the joystick and buttons are much more hollow when used and that's due to the sheer physical size of the housing. Not only is this much wider than the Round 1 TE FightStick but it is taller as well. The hollow sound doesn't bother me though.
USAGE:
Let me start by mentioning one of my favorite features: the angled palm rest. I was afraid I wasn't going to like it since I've been using the Round 1 MadCatz TE Stick with the flat surface, but I was able to make an immediate adjustment to the angled palm rest and love it. Using this stick feels much more natural to me.
The joystick (JLF) and buttons (OBSF) are your typical Sanwa variety and the general consensus on them is they are high quality arcade parts that can take a beating and are great to use. If you've ever used these Sanwa parts or own any variety of a MadCatz TE stick then you'll know what they feel like: the joystick is responsive and the buttons are sensitive.
I've opened the stick to replace the L1 and L2 buttons with the included button plugs and everything inside the stick is cleanly wired and organized. I put the 2 extra buttons in the button holders found inside the stick in case any of my main 6 have issues.
The USB cable storage compartment is large enough for the 3m cable to easily fit. I placed the included cleaning cloth in the back of the storage compartment to clean the surface here and there.
Transporting the stick has been an issue due to the irregular large size and fortunately Hori released a travel bag made to fit the VLX. Unfortunately they're charging a hefty price ($39.99) and since their site is the primary store selling it the shipping cost pushes the bag close to $50. For $50 you could almost get the HRAP3!
CONCLUSION:
To me this is the king of joysticks. It reminds me of the times I spent playing SF4 in Japanese arcades. At the price point this is a joystick for enthusiasts, collectors, and those who aren't hesitant to spend. However if you get this joystick you won't regret it.
Then a friend recommended this to me, and now I recommend this to all of you.
This fighting stick feels like heaven in your hands. The resistance of the joystick feels loose enough to not have to put your whole body weight into moving, but not light enough to input more commands than you want to.
The buttons have the right amount of spring to them, and the layout feels very natural to play on.
It's a great feeling to have this behemoth in your hands.
CONS:
The only thing that really bothers me is how big the stick is; it's roughly almost 2 feet in length. Also, the joystick and the buttons seem rather close for how long the stick itself is.
Over-all, it's a fantastic piece of equipment.
The only thing that I see as something to look out for is that when pressing the buttons, it does feel slightly hollow compared with the MadCatz tournament edition fightstick. I believe it is because the box itself has a lot of space inside and the top is slightly thin. Yet this feel is really subjective, I personally don't mind it. Especially when Im focusing on beating the bosses, I don't even really notice it while i'm furiously trying to win a game. The price is pretty expensive too. All in all this is a great joystick and I do recommend this product for those die hard arcade gamers!
and that just made my disappointment THAT much worse when i came to find out that sony has yet to (and probably never will) release updates to get it to function with ps2 backwards compatibility. i have a ridiculous library of ps2 fighters, and that was one of the deciding factors on getting this stick.....
again. THIS STICK WILL NOT WORK WITH THE PS2 PORTION OF BACKWARDS COMPATIBLE PS3'S.
on the other hand, it DOES work wonderfully with everything else! playstation 1 games running on ps3 ARE compatible and play amazingly with it. and you can usb it into a pc and most things run fine with no other software involved (at least on win 7)!!!
the few problems i had (specifically with "super street fighter 4 ae") were all solved by using "x360ce"(search google. its easier than it looks to use it). any other issues are solved with "joy2key".
i went into this purchase expecting that people over-exaggerated how good it is. they weren't. they were under-exaggerating. within five minutes, i actually knew i was better at fighters than i had ever been before. what you attempt to input into this thing generally is what gets read by it. wanna do 90 dragon punches in a row in your sleep (on your first try, when you used to have trouble pulling even ONE off in the heat of the moment before)? no problem!!! i would compare "coming off a Mad Catz Street Fighter IV FightStick into THIS CONTROLLER" to "selling your old run down station wagon and getting a brand new sports car".
as sad/mad as i was that i couldn't play my ps2 fighters(and i was REALLY mad), after using it, i almost could care less. this controller is mad expensive, but if you can afford it (and don't care/are willing to overlook the lack of ps2 compatibility), then it's more than worth it! the fact i have no choice but to give it a perfect review even though it lacked an important (to me) feature should definitely say something about the product (and in hori's defense, sony is entirely responsible for the lack of functionality.)
(yes, i'm sure a custom made stick is probably better, but this might as well be one. and heck, it seems so easy to mod and repair, if you dislike something you can just change it!)

HRAP vlx is by far one of the most sturdiest, heaviest arcade joystick I've ever played with. With the addition to the sanwa parts that come with the joystick, feels like you're really in the arcades. I've been playing fighting games with this joystick, and I usually play aggressively, therefore my motions using the stick is pretty forceful, however, no matter how much force I put in, It is still extremely sturdy and strong and doesn't move as much. This product is definitely recomended if you're a die hard arcade fan and want the full experience of being in the arcades at your home. The only thing that I see as something to look out for is that when pressing the buttons, it does feel slightly hollow compared with the MadCatz tournament edition fightstick. Best Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 Deals
I recently got my hands on this game, and have enjoyed it very much. The animation is well done, as is the voice-casting (which is a frequent problem in video games). Also, the Dragon World story mode is much more fun (if not a bit repetitive each time through) than Dragon Ball Z: Budokai I's.
The game has a good variety of characters, and has all of the main characters. I had hoped such villains' as Garlic Jr. would find themselves in it, but that did not happen. The gameplay is very good, the fighting is fun. The game isnt at all easy, but its not impossible. That is part of what makes this game fun. Also, this game provides an excellent selection of moves, powerups and more.
What can get a bit frustrating is trying to unlock certain special functions (fusions, breakthroughs and some ultimate attacks), which require you to go through the story mode one full time, for a chance to get what you are looking for. Since the story mode is fun, this isnt a big deal.
The World Tournament mode is fun and requires a different mindset for fighting. If you're knocked out of the ring, you lose, so you have to avoid edge and maybe even try and knock your opponent out, and get a quick victory. The prize money for coming in first or second can be used to purchase new techniques in the skill shop. The game also includes duel mode (a one on one battle with any character) and training mode (to hone your skills against an immobile, mobile, attacking, defending, or any sort of opponent you like). Training mode is very helpful for committing moves to memory, especially more complex moves like Goku's Ultimate Spirit Bomb attack.
The game has about 29 characters, including Goku, Gohan, Trunks, Vegeta, Piccolo, Goten, Videl, Yamcha, Frieza, Cell, Buu and many more.
If you like unique fighting games, then you will like this one. If you like Dragonball Z, then you will like this one. This game comes highly recommended, and I hope a third one is not far in the making, with a much expanded cast.
Cya!
P.S. Upload your data from the first Budokai to receive a set number of capsules at the beginning of the game!

First of all I would like to point out that the game will NOT be 3-D. It will be cel-shaded because that seems to be what everyone is doing now. But one amazing thing this game will have is a fusion capsule. It will enable you to fuse any two characters in the game!! The game will contain 34 characters in all including the ones from the first Budokai. I'm pretty sure this one will have Majin Buu, Kid Buu, Super Buu, Videl, Dabura, and for some reason Dr. Gero although it would have made more sense for them to put him in the first one. And don't delete your data from Budokai from your memory card because all of your skills will be transferrable to Budokai 2. One thing they decided to change is the Story Mode. Sadly there will not be a Story Mode to Budokai 2. It will be something called Dragon World. You and your party of 3 more people will go around the world and search for Dragonballs but if you meet up with a villain who wants the Dragonball you must fight him. You can let the COM fight him or you can fight him yourself... And you will actually get a reward for finishing the Legend of Hercule. I was never informed on what the reward is though. Nor do I know what you will be doing in the Legend of Hercule mode this time either. But I can tell you from searching for it on the net that your character will move more swift, the blast will be bigger and cause more damage, and the new battle places like Capsule Corp or Orange High School (Where Gohan goes to school), will be MUCH more destructible if you happen to be knocked through a wall..... Or 5 or 6....... If you'd seen the clip that they had up at dragonballz.com then you know what I mean. But no doubt Budokai 2 will be something worth waiting for. Pre-order yours from amazon.com now!!Best Deals for Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2
This Game Will be better than the first the new characters will be supreme kai videl adult gohan dabura super buu kid buu majin buu goten young trunks and android 20 . You know when your opponent shoots an ultimate move at you and you just needed one more puch to defeat him? well now you can shoot back his death beam or whatever just by pressing a button faster than your opponent!!sadly i don't think they made it so you can fly without getting hit though And that's not the worst part they got rid of story mode!!!!! but they did add a few new modes like survival mode and training in babidi's ship and last but not least Dragon mode dragon mode is you and 3 other characters go searching for the dragonballs against the computer when you and your opponent are on the same square you have to fight him or let the comp do it for you the loser has to stay in the square for 1 turn in short it's a dragonballz board game that's all i can remember about the game now for pics of the game go2 gamespot atari and dbz.comCya!
Honest reviews on Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2
After waiting countless months, people can finally get their hands on this sequel to DragonBall Z: Budokai. Does it live up to all of the hype surrounding it? Well, that depends on what you're looking for in this title. The graphics have been beautifully enhanced with a new cel-shaded look that fits this title appropriately. The fighting has also been improved to a degree with the character fusions in which two characters can fuse together to make stronger characters to fight with (Gotenks, Vegito, and others that weren't even in the show). This alone adds much more variety to the building of characters. The character customization has been slightly improved as well, with and easier shop system so that you won't have as much trouble finding all of the skills that you want. There have been many new skills added to the mix like Super Saiyan Level 3 and new characters like the three different forms of Majin Buu, which will surely appeal to all of the fans of the show. With all of the good things I've said, this game also has a few glaring flaws. My first gripe is that other than the fusions and new abilities, the fight system itself is still very average and may seem to be too simple to people who are just looking for a serious fighter and couldn't care less about DBZ. Others may also not appreciate the fact that the story mode that was done so well in the first game has been replaced with a new mode called Dragon World. It puts the characters on small maps in which they move like chess pieces to find the dragonballs and fight whomever they run into, until they reach the next stage. While this mode is still fun, it is not nearly as appealing as the story mode that was introduced in the first game. Overall, I still felt that this game was a decent follow up to the origional that should definately appeal to any true fan of DBZ.P.S. Upload your data from the first Budokai to receive a set number of capsules at the beginning of the game!

I know a person who works for a Atari and so i decided to interview him about the game, This is how the fusion system works. If you watch the videos of you will see you have to push some buttons, You dont have to push all of them to get a fusion, EXAMPLE: Lets say i push Square, Circle, Triangle and Right i might get Gokule (Goku+Hercule=Gokule) or if i push something different i might get Vegetto (Goku+Vegeta=Vegetto). Sadly story mode is removed... But we got Dragon Mode this is how dragon mode works, Lets say i pick Vegeta and i have to fight Raditz (Either for a dragonball or elimination) Before i fight Raditz, on the map below Raditz's face it will show a circle that means i have to beat him once. Now if i fight Kid Buu then i might have to beat him 6 or 7 times. The controls are the same, so know need to flip through the instructions! GOOD LUCK GUYS BECAUSE THIS GAME IS A LOT HARDER NOW!!!!Saturday, September 27, 2014
Review of 2x CHARGER + BATTERY FOR XBOX 360 WIRELESS CONTROLLER
i always have to swap my rechargeable batteries when it comes to playing madden 12, but i always forget to charge them through my wall charger that they come with, but some, any, or all consequences stack up in game, per se, a interception, sack, miss fg, tackle, fumble in that game, and other games that have any consequences you should know by now.

Review of Rock Band Bass Pedal Reinforcement - Pedal Metal
No way this product has 5 stars on 28 reviews. The writing tone for a lot of those other reviews is very similar.
After playing 2 songs on expert drums, I can say that unless you play with tennis shoes on, the fact that the screws aren't flush means you'll feel every kick. Specifically the two screws on the left.
Plus your pedal is completely torn up by the mounting screws. If something actually goes wrong with your pedal after installing this, you have to unscrew it and send it back to EA with 6 jagged holes in it definitely wear above and beyond normal.
PASS.
Gave it three stars since it works as advertised, but it's pretty ghetto. I'd buy a real pedal or just keep sending broken ones in. EA turns them around in like a week and it took 5 months for my first one to break.
I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because:
1) the screws aren't flush with the surface
2) this may not work depending on how badly your pedal is damaged. The description doesn't really say it's a fix for a broken pedal as much as it's a preventative... but it also makes one think it will fix a broken pedal, but then installation could be tricky (or impossible) depending on how your plastic is broken
3) after receiving it, I'm not sure the product itself is worth $15.00, but it does prevent (or maybe solves) a big problem with minimal effort and that in itself is worth $15.00. Better than paying $60.00 for a whole new kit.
And one more note, having nothing to do with this product, but the Rock Band drum pads have sensors which do wear out over time. I'm only including this here to save you the same frustration I went though.
You can buy ones online that work very well. Getting the pad open is a little tricky (closing it is even harder), but once open replacing the sensor is a snap and you're rockin' again. In fact, I think the replacement sensor is even better than the original, it's a little more sensitive and picks up quick successive hits better. I got mine from
Have you seen the kit for Guitar Hero World Tour? Can't wait... :)
We took the pedal apart and he was able to line up
and then use the self boring screws to attach the pedal plate.
He's back enjoying his Rock drums again. Wonderful fix.
Thanks man... you rock!

My 17 year old attached it in less then 15 minutes. We took the pedal apart and he was able to line up
and then use the self boring screws to attach the pedal plate.
He's back enjoying his Rock drums again. Wonderful fix.
Honest reviews on Rock Band Bass Pedal Reinforcement - Pedal Metal
Im not too great at this review thing, but i wanted to do one for this product because it is such a wonderful little add on, i couldnt imagine my rock band set up without it. Me and my friends go all out with this rock band thing, we play in position and we rock as hard as we can with the toy peripherals, so naturally things have broken or bent badly with the group. I drum alot since its fun and i am a large guy, so my foot stresses that pedal like no other. It bent badly one day and i thought my drumiming days were over till i found this product. It came super fast, almost 4 days before it was estimated to be here, and the instructions were super easy. The added weight and texture are perfect and it really helps to know that when the pedal kicks get crazy that the pedal can hold up to it. Ive been stomping this thing for a few days now and it hasnt so much as hinted at any damage. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Rock Band Bass Pedal Reinforcement - Pedal Metal

THESE ARE ALL STEAM GAMES WITH INDIVIDUAL STEAM KEYS FOR EACH SERIES. (You will get 5 Steam keys)
The nice thing about how this works through Amazon is that you can choose what Series you want to keep and activate it via Steam. If there's some that you already own on Steam(or Amazon) or you don't especially want a Series you can give the key code(s) to a friend. Once you enter it on Steam it is tied to your account though, so if you want to give it as a gift, just copy the key code from the screen and send it in an e-mail to whoever you want to gift it to. You don't have to rush to activate them, the keys are stored in you Account-->Games & Software Library and won't expire. You can choose to activate them on Steam right away or wait and do it later when you're ready to start playing the games.
Note: To download using Steam you have to first create a Steam account(which is free) and then install their Downloader. The games can also be downloaded through Amazon(using their downloader) and then activated on Steam. (Amazon downloads always take longer for me though) Once activated, Steam will automatically apply games patches/updates(when and if needed).

You get 50 games in this single pack. While not all of the Sega Genesis important games are here (missing Sonic, Chakan and a few others), the collection is quite impressive.
The game requires a Steam account. If you dont know anything about Steam, visit (in a nutshell is one of the best digital game distribution systems and a great gaming community tool)
On this package you receive 5 installation codes that you input into Steam and that activates the games.
You first deal with a launcher where you select the game you want to play. This launcher allows you to save your position in any game at any time, so for some of the RPGs this is great. It also allows you to configure your game pad. I am curretnly using an Xbox 360 game pad and it works great with this launcher. You can also select resolution and aspect ratio you want out of the games.
The games scale nicely in the higher resolution screens of today. I just recently played Shadow Dancer and Streets of Rage 2 in my 1080p monitor and it looked great in fullscreen (I decided to maintain the 4:3 aspect radio of old TVs instead of going with the widescreen option).
While some of the games are not as good as others, just the value of the Shinobi games, the Phantasy Star games and the Streets of Rage games makes this worthwhile.
Yes, dont expect remakes of the games, this are exactly like the ROMS you can get at some sites on the web that are run with emulators. I just think that the launcher, the integration to Steam and the ability to configure a game pad makes this a great prize.
For a retro gamer such as myself, this was easily worth the $7.50 just for pack 5, which includes Phantasy Star 2-4.

I expected to see individually games, without emulation, or at least a better front-end for the emulator, the games run normally but doesn't have modern video filters like hqsai, 2xSai... and game controllers (joypads) doesn't work with the front-end, they work only inside the games.Honest reviews on Sega Genesis Classic Game Pack
The only reason I got this is because this was on sale for VERY cheap, I love the Genesis back in the day, and I expected Sonic games! The only Sonic game that's in it is 3D Blast, and that's an OK game, I just expected Sonic 1, 2, 3, & Knuckles. There are other good games, like Shinobi, Golden Axe, and Vectorman. Still good to get when it's cheap!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Sega Genesis Classic Game Pack
This pack, when on sale, typically goes for around $7.50 assuming you have a retro vibe going, which is why you're looking at reviews for Genesis games, this is a steal at that price and includes Mega Drive Game Packs 1-5 in Steam-redeemable keys. The only downside? You have to redeem the keys on steam. HOWEVER, you can run the emulator (program that makes the games work on modern computers) outside of steam. For a retro gamer such as myself, this was easily worth the $7.50 just for pack 5, which includes Phantasy Star 2-4.

Review of Dishonored - Mark Of The Outsider Pendant Limited out of 1,000
This item was requested as a birthday present, and the recipient seemed quite pleased. It seemed a little chintzy to me, but I am not 16.
Im not even sure this was metal. It was hollow and felt flimsy. But i did only pay 30 for it.
It looks cool enough and has a sturdy chain, but it is not as solid as i expected

Cheap Razer Hydra PC Gaming Motion Sensing Controllers Portal 2 Bundle
Razer Hydra PC Gaming Motion Sensing Controllers Portal 2 Bundle (RZ80-00630200-B3U1)
Okay, this is my first stab at a video review. Sorry about the poor quality of my voiceover and overall fatness of my face. I'm working on fixing one of those problems. Won't say which.
Overall opinion: there's a lot of potential in this device, but not a lot of substance yet. Fingers crossed: the company will be around long enough to see this thing through because it could be great.
-Aaron
P.S. Also, I had high resolution in mind when I edited this; I couldn't get this down to size to upload while keeping the text readable. Again...sorry about that. I'll do better next time.
The technology behind the Razer Hydra isn't perfect yet, but it is pretty darn close. The one issue I initially had with this device was interference from surrounding electronics. Things that have powerful magnetic fields (some speakers, laptop power bricks, etc) have the potential to cause some jitter of the cursor. This issue is very unlikely to effect you, and if it does the resolution simple. For me, the solution was just to move the base station more towards the front of my desk.
[EDIT] After some testing to find out what was causing my level of jitter, I found it to be my Asus 23" 3D monitor. With the monitor off, my jitter drops to basically nothing (tested this with second monitor). Hoping to hear some good news from sixense regarding this, but seems that I just have a highly interfering product. The Hydra is still perfectly functional even with this interference, I just have to hold the controllers at a closer distance to the base to get the jitter to become unnoticeable.
[EDIT #2] From another post on the sixense forums, it seems like another guy with jitter determined it to be his 3D monitor (Benq brand I think he said it was). I have a second monitor (Asus 21.5" LED) and it causes zero interference. Also, no interference from the display on my laptop.
In conclusion if you have a 3D monitor you may experience jitter with the Razer Hydra.
The general setup in most games is to use the analog stick on the left controller to move around, while using the right handed motion controller to aim. Some games (at least L4D2) also feature motion gestures for the left controller. Tilting the controller up quickly jumps, tilting down crouches, tilting left and right switch weapons, and rotating the controller to the left reloads. Other important actions are bound to one of the four buttons on each side. There is no way as of yet to program your own control setup for games, but Razer states on their support website that the option will be available soon.
[EDIT] As a sixense moderator has stated in reply to this review, you can in fact modify your controls even now. It isn't yet natively editable within the Razer Hydra config program from Razer's site, but modifying a few text files within your Razer Hydra program folder is all you need to do to change your controls. They will add native support within the config program eventually I imagine, but it's not here just yet.
One specific mechanism you will have to learn with motion controllers is called "ratcheting." When you are using the controller to aim, you're going to tilt your wrist to the side. What happens when your wrist cant bend any more to the right? In order to continue aiming right you hold a button on the right controller which locks the cursor in place, while you whip your wrist back to the default forward position. This allows you to continue aiming in all directions even though you reach the edge of how far you can move. Takes a little bit of learning to get used to, but not too tricky.
You can also use the Razer Hydra in gamepad mode, where it essentially becommes a 360 controller that has been chopped in half. The four buttons on the right controller correspond to ABXY, while the four buttons on the left controller correspond to dpad up down left right.
If you are looking to have fun with a high quality motion controller on your PC, look no further. The Razer Hydra will truly add another dimension to your game. I could not recommend this product more!
1) Jitter
2) Controls Mapping Software
3) Game/Software Support
If you're willing to work with the Hydra then you may be able to partially overcome these issues.
1) To remove Jitter you need to move the base in front of your keyboard. Basically as close as you can to the controllers.
2) Most recent alpha software available from Sixense but it's very difficult to use. Can work well if you love to tinker with software.
3) Only main stream game with direct support for the Hydra is Portal 2. Beyond that you may ask yourself, "Why am I not just using my mouse and keyboard instead?" You can get it to work with other game, but it's a pain.
I think Sixense needs to partner with Oculus Rift (Upcoming awesome VR goggles) and put a Sixense sensor inside the Oculus Rift. Oculus Rift currently has problems with horizontal drift that Sixense would fix. These controllers combined with the Oculus Rift would be a new gaming nirvana. It would motivate developers to support both. Sixense get hold of Palmer Luckey quick and make it happen!

This device is awesome! These have amazing precision. The Portal 2 that is bundled becomes so immersive using the special controls and added abilities. As these start to become become more popular we will see more games with specifically programmed support. For your older games you can use this tool to create your own control profile for each game. I recommend that tool over the Razer Hydra Configurator as the later does not let you customize your game profiles. The cables are much longer than you could need. The shape is much more comfortable than a Wii remote. This is very easy to program with from a developer's standpoint.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Razer Hydra PC Gaming Motion Sensing Controllers Portal 2 Bundle
Quick Review here. This is the only really accurate, lower-ish latency hand motion input on the market, but that doesn't mean the Sixense slacked off on quality. They are wired sure, but that decision was out of their hands. I use these with my Rift with all the awesome tech demos that are coming out and I have even been developing my own game for them. They are ridiculously accurate and the fact that the next generation of these bad boys will allow for 3rd, 4th, or 5th sensors that you can attach to your body is awesome. They are a company who obviously cares about bringing about the VR revolution and they get all the more respect from me for that. Lastly, you will want to have these when their new software comes out, MakeVR. It is a 3D world/model builder similar to living in a CAD program (It will be the Killer App for VR, at least in the Utility category) Anyway, good work Sixense, can't wait to get the next dev kit!. (I have ps3's Move controllers, and the Hydra is on a whole different level of accuracy then those. So, if you were skeptical because of past disappointments, don't be.)Wednesday, May 28, 2014
Buy James Bond 007: Quantum of Solace Collector's Edition -Xbox 360
When this game first came out I would rate it a solid 4 stars. But part of that is for the online multiplayer game, and since this game is several years old there is almost nobody online anymore. So you can pretty much forget about the online gaming aspect of it, every once in a blue moon there are enough people online to get a match going, but not like when it first came out. That leaves the single player, which by itself I rank 3.5 stars. To be honest it's not a very long game, but it is fun, and if you are a James Bond fan you will most likely enjoy it. I mainly wanted to comment on the Collector's edition, which some people are selling new for like $80, don't bother. There is really nothing special about the special edition except for that it comes in a cooler box. It does contain a DVD disc that has a couple of featurettes on the making of the game, but they aren't worth that markup and they are on YouTube anyway. You don't get any extra levels or weapons, or anything pertaining to the game in the special edition. You get a metal box and a DVD of behind the scenes stuff, which frankly isn't that interesting. So pay $8 for the regular edition instead of $80 for this, and I assure you that even if you aren't blown away by the game at least you won't be getting price gouged. If you pay $80 you will be very angry with yourself. I bought the collector's edition when the game first came out, and it was the same price as the regular game back then, that tells you how insignificant the difference is.The controls were a little difficult to get used to compared to some of the GRAW, etc, games, but it's very fun.

Buy NBA Ballers: Chosen One - Xbox 360
Rememember when arcade hoops games were so much fun, just pickup and play? I Remember playing NBA Hangtime in college with my friends, we did 2 on 2 action and it was the best of what Midway did, arcade sports! As of late, Midway has kind of turned me away from their titles. And with E.A.'s serious hooper called NBA Street, Ballers seems to fall short in the fun factor category. NBA Ballers on the XBOX was Midway's first return back to arcade hoops since NBA Showtime, and while I did like Ballers quite a bat, the Chosen one gets away from the fundamentals of the game, and it's just simply not that fun to play. The first issue is the graphics. This simply is not a next gen looking game. The courts look sweet enough, but the players look fake, and their faces and skin looks too fakey fakey to be taken literally. Motion caputred moves get the job done, but once again, things are way over done and nothing looks amazing to knock your socks off. NBA Street Vol 3 looks better and that game was out quite a some time ago. The main issue with the game is that you don't have to check the ball out after a rebound. So basically the game consists of you "if you wanted" standing under the basket for a rebound then instantly going up for the dunk with no reason to take the ball back or play defense. This problem takes away zero strategy on both offense and defense. Checking the ball is a standard for all street hoops game, especially for 2 on 2 or 1 on 1 battles at 1/2 court. The gameplay is fair, but pulling out special moves seems to complictated for it's own good and the 360 controller is not implimented as well as it could have been. But even when you leave out the special moves and stick with jumping, blocking, and dribbling, the game still feels lathargic and the lack of any real strategy thanks to not having to checking the ball out, ruins the game. I had the most fun going online and playing with people, you can 1 on 1 and 2 on 2 battles against people onilne ,but once again, the gameplay still is ruined. If you can request people to check the ball out after each rebound, makes the game to be more enticing.
I love arcade hoops titles, the classics like NBA Hangtime, Jam and Showtime will always be missed. It's too bad the step to next gen has been a step back for fun, at least with Midway's hoops titles. The Chosen one can't even get the basics down right and ruins the game. Might be worth a rent or two with some friends, but other than that, you might as well keep playing NBA Street Vol 3 or wait for Street 4...
Graphics: Players faces look like their real counterparts and the facial expressions are nice, but the bodies look fake and their bodies are way over done. What is that, paint gloss over their bodies?
Gameplay: Performing special moves are tricky, and just not fun to pull off or watch as you do them. With the new midway rule of not having to check the ball out, you can stand there and wait for a miss, then go up for the next shot. Um, no Midway, this ruins the game.
Sound: Good music, good sound effects, not much chattering.
Fun Factor: A few games online might be fun for a bit, but once again, the lack of having to check the ball out after a miss, takes any fun that there was available, out of the game completely.
Overall: Stick with NBA Street Vol 3, you can pick that game up for under 20 bucks now and it's still the better game of hoops. Better luck next time Midway. Bring back NBA Hangtime and I'll be happy.
This was an ok game. There was nothing really special about it. The one thing I didn't like was the ease of using special moves along with the limited choices as they got pretty old real quick.
What is that, paint gloss over their bodies?

works great for typing in points or searching movie titles, the only problem I have with mine is that the controller does not seem to come on when I have it plugged in. I have to turn on the controller and then plug in the keypad, then everything works fine.

When you look at this game, you think it looks amazing, right? I mean it has all the best nickelodeon characters, they have supercool moves, and the story plot about the doomsday device sounds great, but to tell you the truth, this game isn't so hot. During movie scenes, the characters move on a loop, meaning they repeat the same motions after a few sentences, and it seems a bit weird without music, just dead silence. If you aren't playing with another person, then you have your work cut out for you. It took me (13 years old) and my cousin (11) 15 minutes to beat Mr.Crocker once (you beat him 3 times). A half hour is about how long it takes to make it through a level, and there are 12 total. I'm surprised that there was a review saying that someone beat it in 3 hours, but I'm NOT surprised that it was written by a kid (because they probably can't tell time). Constantly having to worry about your power supply is a nuisance. I can understand having a life bar, but if you are playing alone, then you are the only player who can pick up either life or health orbs (to fill the bar up again), then you might go insane. Another problem (for any impatient people like me) is that if you have to endure a cutscene once, but you die soon after that, then you can't skip it when it starts the second time. When I play a game, I get bored having to watch movies in it over and over. Seeing the movie once is fine, but if you have to watch it over and over because someone doesn't stop dying, then there's going to be a bit of frustration. Once more on the multiplayer problem, computer characters barely help you fight, and if they do, then they stand by the enemy, like their ready to give them a hug. We all know that Spongebob tends to be a bit too affectionate sometimes, but during a battle between a band of robots and a genius/moron/ghost/sponge combo, you might be better off pushing him off the side of the cliff. One good thing about the game is that you collect coins which can be used to upgrade abilities, so if you highly value Timmy Turner's magic star shooter, you can upgrade that weapon/ability. The problem with this upgrading option is that (I know it seems like I have a lot of problems with this game, but I'm really just telling the truth here)many options require a heck of a lot of coins, typically up to 600 as the highest, so you often need to replay levels for more coins, because with about 3 new abilities throughout the game for each character, your going to need some MAJOR money. Many puzzles in this game aren't so challenging which gives this game a kiddy appeal, but when fighting, especially with the major bosses of each world (Vlad isn't so bad, but Plankton takes a lot more time and strategy), you could have a tough time. If you or the person you are buying for (probably around 10 and under) enjoys playing the game more than winning, then this is a pretty good choice.

Ps2 games are getting hard to find , so Amazon has saved the day. Great game and is up to 4 players (need multitap device) I need one too. My kids love it , I play too , it's fun . 5 stars!!!Best Deals for Nicktoons Unite! - PlayStation 2
My kids are 11 & 8, and I love that they can play this game where they cooperate, instead of compete. They play it for hours, without any arguing! The problem is that almost everytime they play, they can't complete it, because it freezes and they have to reset it. I don't see any scratches on the disc, so we're all baffled by this problem.Honest reviews on Nicktoons Unite! - PlayStation 2
I bought this game for my 5 year old son. He had seen a preview for it on nickeloden. He wanted this game so much because it has all of his favorite cartoons in it. The controls are difficult to use, and the tasks are a little complex for him. when we play usually me or my husband ends up playing it for him. All he really wants to do is beat up on the bad guys. His favorite part of the game is being the gorilla in danny phantom's world. It is a great game if more than one person is going to be playing. If you are looking for a game that is easier for smaller children I recommend star wars legos. my 5 year old can control the game with ease, and with little or no help from me.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Nicktoons Unite! - PlayStation 2

Reviews of Rock Band 3 Wireless Pro-Drum and Pro-Cymbals Kit for PlayStation 3
I wanted to clear a couple of misconceptions out there. What does this drum set offer in features? Nothing new over the RB2 set unless you count the new Pro Cymbals that are bundled with it.
I will say this up front: if you're happy with the RB2 drum set but you would like to get the new Pro Cymbals because of the 10 degree slant and the circumferential rubber treatment, then just buy the cymbals separately.
However, if you're like me, then you might have had some quality issues with the drum pads warping for no explicable reason on the Rock Band 2 (RB2) set; the original RB2 drum set we have is only 6 months old with maybe 2x nights usage every month.
Our neighbor had similar issues with their RB2 drum set until they got the Beatles drum set, which has held up well over a year.
The sturdier drum pad construction that seems to be evident in the Beatles set is also present on the Rock Band 3 set (except for color) and is a welcome, although subtle, modification over the RB2 set. Side by side with our original RB2 set, you can tell that the rubber surface on the drum pad has a subtle quality improvement to it, including a slight hairline-width circumferential depression around the centermost portion of the drum pad. The foot pedal remains unchanged and still offers a little too much resistance to make for a comfortable pedalling experience; I wish that they would move away from the spring loaded system to more of a geared, chain pedal which is so much easier on the foot. But I digress.
As for assembly...maybe it's me, but it also seems like this set was easier to put together compared to the old RB2 set, ESPECIALLY THE CYMBALS which drove me nuts the 1st time around. This time around, the cymbals were an absolute breeze.
Don't get me wrong if your RB2 set works fine, then keep it and opt for the Pro Cymbals which also seem to be better quality all-around and feature the new (and quite welcome) 10 degree slant.
We, however, needed a replacement set and this one seems to fit the bill quite nicely and some of the subtle quality modifications have us more than confident that this set will last us awhile. My wife--who regularly drums on the game now--has reported that the "hits feel better" for her and likes the new 10-degree tilt that comes with the cymbals (also available separetely as noted Rock Band 3 PRO-Cymbals Expansion Kit).
Now, if you're jumping into Rock Band 3 for the first time, then GET THIS SET. The RB2 set, in my opinion, is inferior in quality and the perceived cost saving does not equate to a better deal for me in terms of overall life cycle cost. True, we've only had the drums for a couple of weeks, but it's holding up so much better than the first RB2 set that I feel compelled to throw in my wholehearted recommendation into it.
I don't see much improvement in the 4 basic pads over the RB2 set. These are nice, but there is just not a lot of differences between the two. I also don't see any difference in the pedal. Most of this review focuses on the 3 cymbals that came bundled with the kit. I had put off buying the cymbal expansion set previously because of the numerous reviews and problems people have experienced with double hits. I expected that the new cymbals included with this set would not have the same problems, but it seems the problems weren't fixed. Last night, when the kit was fully setup, I started playing, and much to my dismay, the yellow cymbal immediately began registering double hits. I have tried some of the suggestions other reviewers have posted, but it still hasn't fixed my problem. I will update this review if I find any other solutions that help, and by doing so increase my rating of the product. I don't know if I'd say not to buy this product, since you have to have cymbals to do Pro-mode in RB3, but it might not be a bad idea to continue to use your old set a little longer and to see if other reviewers have the same problems as me, or if mine is just defective.
In summary: Although the hardware works and is fun, 2 stars because I don't see much improvement over the previous set. Unless you need a new set, you may be better off sticking with your old one for now.

I contacted Mad Catz by email, and after a 2 to 3 week delay, a customer service associate finally responded. Once contact had been made, the process seems to be going quickly. Two of my three cymbals were defective, and after trying a popular online fix using coins(which even Mad Catz suggested trying), the cymbals still were difficult to use. Mad Catz has promised to send two replacement cymbals, and once those are received, use the prepaid shipping label and envelope to return the defective ones. I will update my review once I get them and test them out, and might have to upgrade the number of stars given to the drumset in general.
One of the drum pads is bubbling up and lost its sensitivity. All the cymbals are double tapping so you cant score streaks. one of the symbals has cracked plastic under the rubber and all of them have started to open up at the edges. This product is not fit for the intended use. This company has such a bad track record. Check out how many people created how to fix videos and instructions for this product. its seriously appalling. Don't waste you money.

I have been very excited about receiving my new Rock Band 3 Drums with the bundled cymbals. As soon as I received the package, I immediately began setup. The drum kit was easy, as it was basically the same as the Rock Band 2 drums. I had no experience with the cymbals, and it took me longer to set those up, due to the poor instructions. I didn't think it would be hard, but those brackets can be turned lots of different ways.I don't see much improvement in the 4 basic pads over the RB2 set. I've had the drum set now for almost a month now and I think it's great. The setup was easy to do (about 10 minutes from box to drum set). I did notice that the high hat cymbal tends to slip downwards with use, but nothing a little duct tape didn't fix. The overall quality of the set is much better than the older drums. I give this product a 4.5 out of 5 stars.Honest reviews on Rock Band 3 Wireless Pro-Drum and Pro-Cymbals Kit for PlayStation 3
