The instructions tell you how to hook EVERYTHING up. Up until the point where it says you hook it up to the sync button or to one of the tactile switch legs. I hooked it up to a leg and then it says to hook another wire to the ground. But dosent show how to. Im new to this so i need DUMB PEOPLE instructions. How do i hook up the ground wire? Where is it going to connect to besides the tactile switch leg. Can you provide a photo?

The reason that I ended up buying the VGA cable was due to the fact that the component signal (both 720p and 1080i) is subject to overscan. This means that the screen "zooms in" slighty so that you are sure to see a complete picture with no black or static edges. This is a problem though with the Xbox 360 because it ends up cropping the image. For example, the HUD in GRAW is cutoff on the corners when using the component cables. This really bothered me so I gave the VGA a try and viola!

I can now go into the dashboard settings and specify 1360 x 768 which closely matches my LCD's native resolution of 1368 x 768. Thus, I am able to see the whole screen without any overscan/cropping. The only downside is that the overall image gets "washed out" when using the VGA cable. However, this is not really a big deal because most of the newer games (GRAW, Oblivion) have an in-game setting for brightness which you can turn down to eliminate the washed out look.

I highly recommend that you at least give the VGA cables a try. Depending on your TV, you may or may not like them. No big deal though because you can just return them. However, you may find that you really like them and will be glad that you tried them out! Check out my VGA vs Component pictures at http://spaces.msn.com/theshepherdsbag/photos/ and read about my detailed testing on my blog at http://spaces.msn.com/theshepherdsbag/blog/ and you can check out this xbox forum thread for further insights at http://forums.xbox.com/2885313/ShowPost.aspx

Lastly, I have the Samsung LNR238W and there is NO ghosting issues when using the VGA cable.

I read all sorts of reviews about this cable providing a "washed out" image compared to component. This has nothing at all to do with the cable but everything to do with the display being used.

If you examine the XBOX 360 output, you'll find that the same RGB pins are used to create component or VGA outputs. VGA adds the HSYNC and VSYNC pins already present in RGB signal for component.

So why do people complain about the "washed out" effect? That's because they haven't calibrated the display properly or their display can't be calibrated properly using the VGA input (my display and probably most displays have different calibration settings and processing hardware for each input). My display only allows me to set contrast, brightness, sharpness and color temperature on the VGA input, however, the hue and saturation are almost spot on from the factory so the VGA cable is the best for me since I can make use of the DVD upconversion and the XBOX 360 seems to do a better job of scaling 720p/1080i to the 1360x768 resolution of my display than the display itself using component.

If Microsoft allowed brightness, contrast, saturation, hue and temperature adjustments from the 360, this cable would truly be the best to get the highest quality output from the 360 for everyone with a VGA capable HD display.

Do yourself a favor and purchase/rent the Avia Guide to Home Theater DVD or Digital Video Essentials DVD and use this to calibrate your display for the best results using any cable.

I, too, am a college student (seems to be a trend, eh?) and don't have a 50-inch X brand HD whatever. I got this cable to hook up to my flat-panel computer monitor which is of course better than my TV. My monitor isn't big, mind you, but the improvement is definitely noticable. I can harness my XBox 360's potential much more than with standard AV cables.

Also, as far as sound is concerned, if you're hooking this up to your computer system: the cable comes with a Y adapter that can be plugged into your standard audio card (the green, blue, and pink colored slots in the back). I have awesome speakers on my comp (not Dolby surround but a 200-watt 2.1 system) and had to look everywhere on the internet to see if this cable would be able to connect to them. I finally found it somewhere. In short, yes you can hook the audio adapter into your computer for sound (your computer has to be on to do so). My comp speakers plug into the green slot then the VGA cable (via the adapter) plugs into the blue one. Bingo, seat-rattling explosions and gunfire.

Even if you're not like some of the Richie Riches that are using this cable for their $2,000 TV and want to hook it up to your computer system, then you absolutely MUST buy this cable. You're really cheating yourself out of the full gaming experience if you stick with standard AV.

Honest reviews on Xbox 360 VGA HD AV Cable

I bought this in order to play my 360 games on my 17" CRT flatscreen monitor. It was really fast to hook up and worked without any problems whatsoever.

Please note that the cable comes with a RCA to 3.5mm jack and a VGA f/f gender changer.

I purchased these cables because, along with the new Xbox Live update, you can view games and movies in 1080p (1920 x 1080 resolution). Your system will give you the option to turn on 1080p with the new update, but it won't work. These cables are the only cables that will allow you to view 1080p on your 360. And with the HD-DVD drive add on... wow. High Def movies in 1080p will make you quiet and teary-eyed.

Beware of a few things though to make your experience less of a hassle:

1) You have to have access to Xbox Live and a 1080p television or monitor that can display 1920x1080. Otherwise you're only looking at a minimal upgrade in quality most times that doesn't justify the cost over the component cables that came with your 360.

2) Check your TV or monitor's vga audio inputs. This cable comes with a red and white set of audio wires but a lot of monitors and TV's, especially a lot of the new full 1080p TV's, require an optical audio cable. You can get these everywhere and cheap ones are just as good as expensive ones. Best Buy has one specifically for the Xbox 360 for $8. One end hooks into the base connection on the VGA cables. Not only is the audio quality increased 10x, but it's no hassle or mess at all unless you didn't know you needed it.

3) Some TV's don't allow you to adjust as many picture options on their VGA component channels because they assume you're connecting a PC, which usually has it's own visual adjustment controls. I found little problem here after a few changes in the visual settings available to me but video-philes may be disappointed depending on their individual TV's or displays. For me, in particular, I had no color issues or washed out picture problems unless I dropped into lower resolutions... which is pointless to do if you're buying these for the 1080p compatibility.

Do some research and avoid all of these possible headaches and you're in for a treat.

Ok, me and a friend went to the midnight Gamestop opening to get the game, and we are on Chapter 3-3 I think. I started playing this game at about 1:15am, until 6:58am, and haven't slept yet. (I'm writing this review at work, heh.)

The game itself is very fun, especially with a friend. I must say I do not like the new inventory system, and I miss the creepy mysterious vendor that sold you goods in RE4, I felt that added more realism to the game, rather than the way you buy items in RE5, at the end of every stage, it seems very artificial, and kind of takes you away from the immersion of the game.

The game is definitely more action oriented, which makes sense when playing co-op, but I hope to see some wierd puzzles in the later levels.

I'll say that this Resident Evil is the most "Un-resident Evil" out of all of them, at least from what I have seen so far. The gameplay is still great, but most of the new additions and changes have detracted from what makes Resident Evil so cool and unique, and feels more like a generic shooter/action game. (The gatling gun/motorcycle thing. It's fun and all, but to me it just doesn't fit the Resident Evil vibe of previous games.) I do like the end of chapter stats though, that is cool.

This next part refers to the bonus stuff that comes with the Collector's Edition. I'll say first off that it honestly is not worth the $30 extra dollars I paid for it. I'm such a huge fan of the games though, that I bought it mainly just to support Capcom, and because of the cool looking metal case and bonus DVD. The action figure is pathetic, looks like a cheap GI Joe toy, except you can't even move the arms or legs, it's just cheap, badly painted plastic that is just stupid, and it doesn't even look like Chris Redfield.

The Tricel carry bag I thought I would use it to carry maybe books or some papers for whatever, but again, it's just a cheap poorly made canvas bag. I haven't even taken it out of the plastic wrapper since I don't want to waste my time with it.

The necklace is the same, fake looking pleather string with the Kijuju Africa symbol on it, I'll never wear it, it's still wrapped in it's plastic wrapper too.

The BSAA security patch, which I thought would be the dumbest item, turns out is actually the coolest to me. I might actually have to sew this on a denim jacket one day, it's actually a semi high quality material, and looks pretty official looking. I can at least pretend I'm Chris Redfield on a secret mission then.

Resident Evil 5 has to be the greatest game I have ever played on any of the current-generation consoles (Xbox 360/PlayStation 3/Wii). The graphics are simply the best I have ever seen and the gameplay is full of action and suspense. Facial expressions are so incredibly realistic it's difficult to distinguish the cut-scenes between real movies. The voice-acting, music score, and sound effects are simply outstanding and unbelievable. The gameplay is full of hardcore action with a hint of suspense, all driven by a very compelling and ultimately conclusive plot. While I tried not to directly compare the game to its predecessor, Resident Evil 4, it is difficult not to do so as Resident Evil 5 is almost on par with the previous installment from the GameCube (which happened to be the greatest game on the previous generation consoles). There is one major flaw that the developers incorporated into Resident Evil 5 that does not make it as perfect as Resident Evil 4.

The one greatest, painstaking, heartbreaking flaw is the entire co-op addition. Don't misunderstand me; Capcom did a perfect job with incorporating cooperative play in this game. It's indescribably fun and addicting, and I completely give the mechanics and gameplay of co-op play a 5 out of 5. But this is true only when playing with another person (either online or offline). The Resident Evil series has always been a solo game, with only one character going through the entire game. This simply adds to the suspense (just look at Resident Evil 4). Much of the suspense and fun is taken away due to the addition of Sheva as your partner throughout the game. You're no longer alone on your mission; someone always has your back, and this completely destroys the foundation Resident Evil gameplay was founded upon. It's evident the developers made the game and the story around the cooperative aspect. The entire main game revolves around cooperative play with your partner, sadly. This is what ultimately hurts the whole game and the story as well, unfortunately. The plot incorporates Sheva heavily and this in turn results in a rather predictable and duller storyline as compared to Resident Evil 4 (and all of the other main Resident Evil installments, RE0 to RE3). Resident Evil is a survival-action game (as defined by Resident Evil 4); this is not supposed to be sloppy Halo 3.

Other than that, the game is fantastic. Do not let the addition of co-op play turn you away from this game, which continues from RE4. If you played RE4 (and hopefully RE0 through RE3), then RE5 is a must purchase; it must absolutely be played in order to truly experience Resident Evil on the next-gen consoles. Rather than looking down on the incorporation of Sheva and co-op, embrace it and have fun with it.

This game is made even better with the inclusion of the familiar Mercenaries mini-game, which was incredibly fun in RE4 and now better and improved in RE5. Once again like its predecessor, Resident Evil 5 contains a host of rewards and unlockables for you to accomplish. This only adds to the replay value of the entire game, besides the fact that playing the main game over and over again is incredibly fun. The rewards and unlockables in RE5 are as great, if not, better than those from RE4.

IGN gave Resident Evil 4 a deserving score of 9.8/10. For some strange reason, they scored Halo 3 with a 9.5/10 but Resident Evil 5 with a 9.0/10. This is entirely unjust. As Resident Evil 4 fittingly earned a 9.8, then Resident Evil 5 deserves a 9.7/10. As a rating from Amazon, I give it four-and-a-half stars (4.5/5, ****+).

Best Deals for Resident Evil 5 Collector's Edition -Xbox 360

I've been a fan of the Resident Evil games since the very first one. I even bought a gamecube just to play Resident Evil 4. At any rate, I LOVE Resident Evil 5. It's so much fun and has so many achievements and unlockables that you can play it over and over without getting bored. It's not as creepy as its predecessors, but I love the edition of Sheva and the co-op play! I love playing this game online with my friends. Only downfall is that the versus mode should've come standard with the game. Other than that I highly recommend this game!!

Don't waste your money on the collector's edition, though. I was so excited to see it that I bought it right away. I was a bit disappointed with the "free" collector's stuff. The chris figurine is incredibly small, the messenger bag is rather small, the patch is cool, and the necklace is cool but I've never actually worn it out anywhere. So yeah, just stick with the "plain" version. No need to spend an extra $30 on toy-ish collectibles.

Honest reviews on Resident Evil 5 Collector's Edition -Xbox 360

This game is easily one of the most entertaining games I've played on my xbox. I know many complain that it's not as good as RE4, but even if that's true, this is STILL a fun game. I'll venture to say as it's already compared to, it's better than Gears of War.

Yes it's a different Resident Evil game, but just as many gamers would be complaining if it was an exact clone of a previous RE title. Judge it for what it is, and that would be a genuinely good game. I gave it 5/5 because during my spring break, I couldn't stop playing until I did just about everything you could do on this game. I can't wait for DLC. This game has replay value I've not seen in years, coming from a veteran gamer.

That being said, make sure you have a buddy to play with, because flying solo can be significantly less interesting and enjoyable which I think maybe why there are a few negative reviews. Get a friend and go kill some zombies!

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Resident Evil 5 Collector's Edition -Xbox 360

If you're looking for advice on whether you should purchase the collector's edition or not, my recommendation is no. $90 is very expensive for what you ultimately get. The figurine is maybe 2 inches tall and isn't an action figure, like the Resistance 2 one. The messenger bag is smaller than anticipated. Nifty, I suppose. The patch is, well it's a patch and the pendant is also very small. For $90, I'd recommend a pass. I really like the tin container, but you don't really get your money's worth; buyer's remorse hit me like a chainsaw-wielding majini.

Onto the actual review:

Not every game can be a paradigm-shifting masterpiece. After years of trying to perfect Resident Evil 4 (including at least two completely scrapped attempts), it hit the Gamecube like a storm and completely changed how people viewed the venerable survival horror series. It was as perfect a game as I've seen recently, with amazing pacing, the perfect meaty length, intense action sequences and enough horror to still call it a horror game. In an ironic twist, Gears of War took inspiration from Resident Evil 4 and now Capcom returns the favor by taking some inspiration from Gears of War for Resident Evil 5. Unfortunately, they didn't take it far enough.

If I had to sum up my Resident Evil 5 experience in a few words, I'd say it was frustrating, exciting, annoying, action-packed, thrilling and ultimately a little bit unsatisfying. If RE4 threw out the entire kitchen but kept the sink (the horror), RE5 ditches the sink entirely. And that's where my problems come in.

Before I get too far ahead, the story is probably the weakest part, unfortunately. As convoluted and B-grade as it is, part of my love for the RE series stems from the stories. Here we have Chris Redford and his partner Sheva, members of the BSAA, who are in Africa trying to track down a man named Irving. Of course, the area they go into is swarming with a new form of Plagas-infected townspeople and Chris has ulterior motives in going to Africa that ties into his backstory. The story is kind of a mess and is easily the weakest in the series. The best part comes at the end as it brings closure to some story fragments started way back in 1998.

A lot of people complain about the controls. While the emphasis on action seems counter-balanced by the stiff controls, its the same control scheme used in RE4. And that's fine with me, for the most part. The further reliance on action does tend to add some aggravating moments but I honestly didn't realize there was a control problem through most of the game. The action sequences run from very good to just decent, with a few set pieces that really deserve attention. And of course the boss fights are hugely over-the-top and add some of the best moments of the game in terms of variety.

No, my biggest grief with the game is that it feels like a strange alien copy of a series I've loved for over 10 years. Where's the horror, I kept asking myself. Where are the scares? I would have been satisifed with a cheap window-shattering scare by the time the game was over. Everything just felt so...run of the mill. Most of the great parts of Resident Evil 4 were recycled. The beginning sequence where you're chased around for a time, moving quietly to avoid detection, QTEs, fights against giant rejects from Lord of the Rings...it all felt so familiar. And it doesn't do much much to push the genre forward.

If anything, it takes a few steps back. I love co-op as much as the next gamer, but horror is based about feelings of isolation and it's hard to have that feeling when not only is there another person with you, but it seems as if at any time, the cavalry can arrive to shoot missiles and provide backup. Playing through the game with a real person is a fine and fun experience, but a lot of people will be forced to play with the sometimes good A.I. partner and that's a shame.

Sheva, as controlled by the computer, does an adequate job most of the time. She's a rapid healer and isn't selfish with ammo. But she also is guided by AI principles and does some absolutely stupid things at the worst possible time. Like jumping off a cliff and running back, through the final boss who insta-kills her (and ends your game). Try having that happen to you three or four times. I have never been so frustrated at a game, but when death is sometimes predetermined based on the whims of your partner and not actual skill, my frustration meter goes through the roof.

Overall, I enjoyed my ten (definitely not the 17 of RE4) hours spent in Resident Evil 5's twisted world. It provided enough variety and fun to warrant a couple play throughs, especially with a human partner. However, I never got the giddy feeling I felt playing Resident Evil, RE2 or RE4. I'd definitely recommend giving it a go because it does offer some great moments toward the end of the story and surprised me with how it ended, but don't go in with the same expectations of RE4. Here's hoping that Resident Evil 6, with its proposed "complete reboot," puts the kitchen sink back in.

What an amazing buy!

So I bought this controller so that I could help my friends create a "Mk14" clan, where we all just ran around with mods and got people angry and stuff. After much research on the market, I had my sights set on an Evil Controller, but to my dismay, their controllers were a little out of my budget. Having tried my friend Sam's Evil Controller, I can say that those are of high quality. So I was a little disappointed when I saw the price tag. Hoping that Amazon might have them at a cheaper price, I came here to search for a modded controller. After a couple days of window browsing and reading reviews, I bought this one and, believe me, I could not have been happier with my choice.

This controller is sleek and pretty. The color buttons are colored black and look very stylish. Honestly, if you don't know where the A,X,B,Y buttons are by now, then you're not playing Xbox enough so there really is no detriment in taking away the corny colors. The triggers are pretty standard, no difference noted so far. The bumpers are also equally as responsive. But I think people will be happy with the directional pad. It is less clunky than your standard Xbox controller, an important feature to have when selecting which killstreak to activate mid-game and also a bonus for other games you might play.

Where the controller stood out to me were the lights. The thumbsticks and the home button both light up. They are a nice, strong set of colors. My only complaint here is that the home button does not feel nearly as nice as the original, metallic home button. I understand they did this so that the light would show through much better, but it always nags me in the back of my mind whenever I hit the button to join a party online. It's a small voice that says, "Man, that feels so cheap." But, of course, it is quickly shoved aside once gameplay commences and you turn on the mod.

Should you order this product, as with all GenuisModz controllers, it will ship in a very professional looking box. In fact, I saved the box simply because of how nice it looks along with its manual. The manual is aesthetically pleasing AND informative. There is nearly no room for confusion when reading the manual's instructions, and once you give it a look over or two, you probably won't ever be needing it again. Customizing the mod is pretty easy indeed.

And for my final comment, the mod button seems fine. I've always liked mods that have an extra button. Never liked using the sync button to shuffle through the mods either and GeniusModz did the right thing, I think, in adding a button on the backside in a convenient area that is easy to reach but will not interfere with the manner in which you hold the controller.

Overall, it's a great buy. You won't be disappointed.

I am updating my previous review. Genius mods did get a new working controller to me. A little later than I hoped but my brother is happy it works great and looks amazing. I ordered this as a gift For my brother. I received it and tested it out to make sure it worked. I placed new batteries in it and it turned on and synced up with my xbox 360. I was testing out how the thumbsticks and guide buttons changed colors, the guide button did not work. After a few minutes it did(and the LED's look great very cool) however it turned off and did not turn back on. I tried different batteries nothing the thumbsticks light the rapid fire buitton lights but it will no turn on. I contacted customer service who is hard to reach, and left a email, vm and face book message. THey advised me to send it back. I had to go to the post office pay to send it back (they did reimburse me) I provided them a tracking number and asked them to send a replacement overnight so I could get it to my brother for his bday. They assured me they would send a new one once they received the old one. I sent it on a Tuesday and they received it on Thursday. I did receive a working controller a little later than I wanted but it does work great and I appreciate there help with the situation.

Honest reviews on Drop shot, Auto-aim, Jitter Xbox 360 Modded Controller COD MW3

The pictures of this controller do not do it justice. It's gotten to the point where I almost always use this controller to play. I have a bunch of modded controllers already but this one is so fun to use at night. The leds pop and everytime I get a knife kill it switches color. The mods on these controllers have already been my favorite as I have a few using this particular program. I've been getting from this seller for awhile and they seem to have taken their controllers to the next level. The controllers now come in these really professional looking boxes with these giant colored instruction manuals. But the problem now is that in the manual there are examples of other controllers they make and now I want more styles. But I think whatever controllers I get from now on are gonna have to have these LED kits in them.

I've had a few modded controllers, and this is my current favorite. I love the LEDs in the thumbsticks and guide button, they really set off the controller. The LEDs can change colors as well! I didn't know how to turn them on at first, so I called the company and they explained it to me. Excellent customer service. For those who are wondering, the LEDs turn on by holding the sync button (this turns on the guide LED) and for the thumbsticks you hold the right thumbtsick and they turn on. To change the colors you tap the sync (to change the guide LED color) and you click the thumbsticks to change the thumbstick LED color. The colors are great since you can mix and match to whatever you like, definitely keeps the style of the controller fresh since you can change the color each time you play!

Mod was easy to use, came with a nice booklet and everything. Very professional. I definitely recommend this mod to anyone.

NG2 had a lot of expectations to live up to. Having beat it, here's my review of what Team Ninja got right and what it got wrong. (I played on Path of the Warrior difficulty, so the easy setting may be slightly different)

Good:

* Much more detailed enemies and graphics, including the ability of nearly every bad guy to be amputated/decapitated and or chopped in half.

* Bodies of most enemies stay around after death, giving you an increased feeling of carnage and destruction. Leave a trail of death to follow!

* Cool weapons

* Easy saving of games at Dragon Statues

* Massive Boobage unrealistic proportions and extra jiggliness

Bad:

* Some massive slowdown in certain levels when lots of enemies are onscreen. Game over screen visual effects styling is bad and often VERY slow framerate.

* No map. WTH? Some levels you need a map

* Almost completely WORTHLESS ninpo! The Inferno magic is about the only one that does anything (homes in on baddies). But being that many of the bosses are fire-based demons or flyers, magic is almost worthless. Piercing Void is absolutely useless as it requires you to target an enemy and by the time you launch he ball, the baddie has moved. Short-range on the wind magic equally useless.

* Some lackluster level designs, especially caves, tunnels, or building interiors. Several levels feel rehased, especially the Flying Fortress level.

* Added feeling of "cheapness", due to reliance on button mashing and cheap tricks by the level designers. Several areas of the game are maddeningly frustrating due to this kind of cheapness, whose idea of challenging you is to throw wave after wave of the same enemies at you, or put ranged attackers well out of your reach. Examples are the grenade launching soldiers that spam explosives at you from afar or archers, usually appearing in pairs. Exploding jellyfish/mines that respawn. There must be at least 30 of these each time you encounter them.

* The damn biting fish are all back, including the big grabby swimming ones and the airborne ghost piranhas.

* Stupid looking/ugly enemies, with lots of them having some skull motif. Many of the enemies' faces are modified versions of skulls. Stupidness includes wolves that hold katana in their mouths and chop you with them?!

* Having to kill bosses a second time. 1 guy you have to kill 4 times. I know this is a trademark of the NG series, but 4 times???

* Lack of replay value. NO UNLOCKABLES except a measly sound test option and new colored costumes when you begin the game again after beating it. No Sonia as a playable character, no Missions like in NG Sigma. Would be great to be able to play Sonia or Muramasa.

* Lots of dumb unrealistic mechanics like the ability to swim in lava! WTH??.. Invisible barriers everywhere, limiting your interaction with the environment and keeping you several feet away from touching what looks like accessible scenery. Another is the lava filled armadillo boss that comes out of the crashed air fortress.. this thing was the machine's power core??? Back to the cheapness of the design: this boss exploded after you beat it, causing instant death if you don't know what to do before hand. This boss is tough enough if you are playing it the first few times through and to have it explode and kill you is a cheap trick.

* Some bosses are VERY easy to kill with a fully upgraded Scythe

* Much uglier, sloppier items interface w/ blood splatter motif.

The predecessors Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden Sigma were much better in terms of gameplay balance.

Rent this first if you are a casual fan. Having owned and beaten all the variations of the first NG, I am highly disappointed by this game, especially the lack of extras. After seeing how many features Sigma packed onto the PS3 version, I expected those to carry over to NG 2. No chance. No way to view beaten cut scenes, no photo gallery, concept art, rotatable models, nothing!! It feels like a rushed product. No replay value at all. Perhaps they're going to double dip and release NG 2 Omega. Still a very good game, mind you, but just feels half-done.

This game is HARD. And I am not talking Hard as in, your going to die a lot but once you get the hang of it your going to get better and do better.

I am talking hard as in the game will stop at nothing to humiliate and demoralize you until you quit playing it.

Enemies can and will hit you from off screen and you won't even know they are there yet and or you will know they are there but you can not properly avoid them because you can't see them due to camera angles.

You can get incredibly good at your combat abilities and get a flow going, but no matter what you do, the enemies in this game will always be better at it than you.

Veterans of this game, whom are some of the best, die a lot playing this game.

On the easiest setting its a bit easier, but its still not that easy.

Getting all the achievements in this game is a near impossibility. Its doable, but your going to have to buckle down and be really patient with yourself, because its potentially mind breaking.

Now, having said all that, maybe thats your cup of tea. For me, its not so much the case anymore, I have work and family and I wan't my games to challenge me, but I don't want to repeat the same area 800 times in order to get to the next area I will be reloading 800 times. I just don't have time for that anymore.

The graphics are really very nice, and I feel that its the strongest area of the game.

I would recommend that you rent this maybe to try it out before you buy it, if your confident that you will like it and know your going to try to get the achievements, then you might as well go ahead and buy it, its gonna take a long time.

After putting in over 400 hrs. on the original Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden Black I was looking forward to 2 and now my fix is here. Well I was initially a little disappointed and felt that they released the game too early but once I got to tweaking the camera, cinema playback and controller options it solved or eased alot of the problems I was encountering.

I'll keep this short by giveing the good points and bad.

Bad points first. There are frame rate issues if you have the auto cinema feature turned on they can get really bad when a lot of people are on the screen attacking you at one time. If you turn it off you probably won't see a problem with frame rates again.

Second problem is the camera, this can be a problem but you can manually adjust or speed up the auto adjust rate in the options menu and this helps a lot.

Graphically speaking it's a little inconsistent. The particle effects are great but at the same time some of the backgrounds are pretty bland. It's kind of a mixed bag but due to some of the things they've done regarding retaining chopped body parts long after you've left a room in the game it takes a toll on memory usage and thus taxes the 360 quite a bit. Add that to the size of the environments, the number of characters on screen at once and this game pushes the 360 pretty hard.

The other problem though not really a problem, but more of an annoyance is that the enemies are a little on the cheap side this time so you are forced to be a little more creative.

Now for the good:

Believe it or not they have actually improved the gameplay. You start off now with a long list of moves as opposed to hardly any in the original. Countering has been refinded so that you can properly time it. Weapons are now very varied and don't overlap in terms of usage. Enemy AI is incredible you can actually notice the enemies adjusting to your attack patterns. Granted this makes things more difficult but ultimately more satisfying when you win. The level design has gotten rid of a lot of the platforming and focuses much more on the fighting aspect of the game. Secondary weapons are chargable and are actually useful, can anyone actually admit that they used the bow much in the first one?

The story is actually a little more coherent now and makes a bit of sense, though not much. Last but not least It's a great game but a new Missions mode and a little more refinement of the default settings would have made this a classic.

Honest reviews on Ninja Gaiden II

Though still not for the faint of thumbs, this game still provides the smooth and intuitive action and beauty of the first and its ancestors. The easiest difficulty is now much more accessible to the average gamer as well. A must have for the serious action/adventure gamer.

Once in a while, a game comes along that justifies lying about going to a meeting so you could take off early from work and head home to play; Ninja Gaiden 2 is one of these games, and this was exactly what I did. It wasn't a complete lie however; I did have a meeting, a meeting with Ryu Hayabusa.

This game is bloody, the major selling point of the game and I absolutely love it. The bone-crunching, flesh-slicing action is intense and fast, and unlike anything in previous hack n slash games. Both graphics and audio are tip top, and the controls are smooth and responsive.

One function I particularly like is the convenient weapons and item menu that can be easily accessed in the middle of heavy combat. This is important, as enemies outnumber you 6 to 1, you will inevitably take some pounding and as your health drops to dangerous levels, you can immediately hit the D-pad to consume various herbal remedies to stay alive. Furthermore, you can switch weapons in the middle of a fight so if you've been clobbering some poor dude for half a minute with your Lunar Staff and want to finish him off by slicing his throat from ear to ear, you can do that by switching to your Dragon Sword.

Concerning the difficulty, the hand-to-hand combat is very fierce and gets a little overwhelming at times; typically enemies attack in waves and by the time you're done with half of them, not much of your health may be left. The good news is that dead enemies' souls help restore health. The AI is pretty smart and injured enemies adjust their AI from aggressive to sneaky and psychotic just waiting for you to turn your back and plunge that sword or talon through your chest. So remember don't expect an enemy with only one arm left to just happily sit there, finish off him.

Unlike a lot of other games, bodies of dead enemies don't disappear off the screen, so bodies, limbs and chunks of bloody meat litter all over the ground after you've been through a wave of attackers, this is nice effect.

Also, blocking in this game is like taking cover in Gears of War, you can't do without it. Yet, while blocking you can either execute a counter attack after the enemy has finished his moves or dash away to escape. So, there is a huge number of fighting techniques and tactics that you can experiment with. Other aspects of the game are pretty conventional and straight forward occasional save and heal points in the form of a dragon statue, a shop to purchase weapons and items, boss battles (which will REALLY test your wits and reflexes) etc. There isn't too much of a learning curve (which is good), all you need is to come to grips with the pace, various combos and pick out your favorite techniques.

This is one of the best games on the 360 ever, right up there with Gears and Devil May Cry; NG2 certainly edges Devil in the fighting department. For those into achievements, NG2 provides some 60 achievements, and what's fun is the ease of gaining achievements you can earn achievements just by discovering and executing new skills, but as expected they are valued at only 5 gamescore points each. By the time I completed the first level, I've gained 11 achievements.

I knocked one star off because of camera issues, although awkward angles can be easily fixed by hitting the right trigger. Also, frame rates aren't entirely smooth and tend to slow down at various points, but this isn't too big a problem. Some levels will come across as just plain and ugly, and it seems level designers were lazy in this respect.

Another problem is the 'cheapness' of the levels, as others have mentioned, for example frequent and unexplained explosions on certain levels drain away your health a clear indication that level designers were too damn lazy to think of challenges to test your skill.

But my biggest problem with NG2 is that you can't replay past missions, that is a real disappointment as mission replays are crucial to the replay value of the game.

Overall this is a great game, certainly an intense experience; as an above-average difficult game, you can feel satisfied that you'll fight many enemies and bosses many times before finishing the game, so getting your money's worth.

These heatsinks are very nice. I bought the four pack, and, upon opening my xbox, discovered I can only use two of them. With the release of the Xbox 360 Elite, the CPU heatsink is longer and covers two of the four RAM chips. Still, overall, they are a very decent set.

The description does not say/imply it fits the driver. Amazon linked it together as a "Frequently Bought Together" recommended package. It does NOT fit the A4988 Pololu stepper motor driver. It either hits the surface mount parts or the header pins. I will probably cut it down to make it work. The size in the description would indicate that it wouldn't fit, but I thought since others were purchasing it, it must clear the parts on the board. This was not the case. I am giving it three stars because I can't say that I love it and it wouldn't be fair to say I hate it. I think I need something closer to 9mm-10mm.

Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell - Nintendo DS Reviews

Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell - Nintendo DS

I was expecting this game to be junk. Most of the licensed DS games are, unfortunately. However, this is one exception to the rule. I bought it for my daughter who is frankly, too young to play it. She is almost four and loves Tinkerbell. This game requires you to be able to read though, and at a second or third grade level. The "game" basically is like a fetch-it RPG without any battles. You talk to other fairies that populate the Disney Fairies world and they will ask you to help them find things or to retrieve items from other fairies. Once you complete a set of tasks and gather enough items you go through a change of seasons, and then have to help collect various things to make autumn come, (or winter, spring, summer).

Some fairies have mini games that you can play that will earn you various items in the game. You arrange spots on ladybugs, capture dewdrops and other simple games. All of this is fairly standard fare for a kid's DS title.

What makes the game standout is the GRAPHICS. They are absolutely GORGEOUS. Using still backgrounds (that look to be from the movie), the TinkerBell world is absolutely gorgeous. From sunflower fields to TinkerBell's quaint little fairy home (looks a bit like an acorn), to falling leaves, every screen is a treat. The music is nice too and the animations for the fairies are gorgeous. Tinkerbell is easy to move around and looks great flying. I was very impressed with the visual presentation, despite the fact that the backgrounds are mostly static. There's alot of variety, too.

My daughter likes to just fly TinkerBell around, but other, older girls would probably enjoy the game alot. Its simple, but pretty and has no violence either.

My 8 year old daughter is a big Disney Never Fairy fan. She has read all the books and loved the new Tinkerbell movie. I was excited to see this game. She has never enjoyed playing games, since she outgrew her Leapster. Once she opened the game and began playing it, it was difficult to get her to stop. It is like the magic of the fairy world has come alive for her.

There is a lot of reading on about a 3rd grade level involved with this game. There is also a certain amount of dexterity required to accomplish some of the game features.

I have also played the game, and as an adult, I enjoy it too!

I recommend this game to Disney Never Fairy fans!

(I'm using my mom's account) I thought this game was going to stink because it's a game from a movie, and most games that come from movies are horrible. But this game is my favorite out of the 3 DS games that I have!!! You play as Tinkerbell but you can change her outfit. It's like an RPG game JUST for girls! You go around playing fun minigames, bringing the four seasons to the Mainland, fixing things for friends, making accessories, finding things for your friends, and you can have your "fortune" told to you by Tinkerbell. If you LOVE Tinkerbell as much as I do, then you should get this game!!!

Honest reviews on Disney Fairies: Tinker Bell - Nintendo DS

I feel that the chat rooms that come with this title are not appropriate for the target age group. This is a very nice game for a 6-10 year old girl. It can keep them occupied for hours. What I don't understand is why the chat rooms are available on this title. True, a user can not input their own text if they are not registered, but they can get into the chat rooms and view the text that others input. I think that it is a major flaw with this title, and something that parents should be aware of. I think that Nintendo Wi-fi for games like Mario Kart is great fun and completely harmless, but I think the chat rooms should not be included on titles for young kids, or at least should not allow text entry by any users, whether they are registered or not. They should include text entry only on titles directed to older users.

My daughter is 6 1/2 and has never liked video games very much. She will play for a little while and then move on to other things. We rented Tinkerbell to see if she would like it (she loves the Fairy series books). It was the FIRST time she has ever not wanted to put a game down. She figured the game out without any instructions and loved flying Tinkerbell around and meeting other fairies. Graphics are outstanding and Tinkerbell and the other fairies are adorable. It was a sad day when we had to return the rental but I have already picked one up for Christmas.

NOTE: As other posters have mentioned, you do need to be an independent reader to play without parental help.

The item that was pictured and described which I thought that I was buying was not what was sent to me, at least not in it's entirety. To complete my purchase I was asked to pick between a black or gray casing cover for my hard drive and I picked gray, however when the item arrived all I had was an internal (naked) hard drive with no external case to attach it to the XBOX 360 system. The paperwork that was sent went on to tell me that I purchased only the internal hard drive and if I needed the external case I could acquire one from the seller for an additional $17.00. I haven't been so upset with an online purchase since I had my credit card information stolen from an insecure site. On top of this whole thing... the hard drive itself, now that it's all put together, doesn't even work the way it should because there seem to be issues with the 120GB unit. Not my happiest purchase, or a great Bday gift for my son either.

Plugged it in and bam we are gaming. had it for a few years with no problems at all.

even after all this time I still have plenty of room on the drive for the games I play.

For the past year I've been relying on my roomates xbox 360 as my source of gaming entertainment, even though i had been with playstation since the first one came out. I like the xbox 360, one of the most attracting aspects of it were its affordability and well halo of course. Well my roomate moved out a few weeks back so i decided that i would buy a playstation 3 since i was now console-less. I also had created a PSN account in december so I qualify for the PSN Welcome Back promotion ;) I ordered this particular bundle because I played black ops on xbox and enjoyed so i couldnt resist this deal! I will admit that i was planning on buying the original bundle with the $60 amazon promotional credit, but the promotion expired a few days before i was planning on buying it, so i fell back to the black ops bundle. Its only been a few hours since I unboxed my playstation and i am glad that i decided to buy it. Ive already played through some black ops and god of war 3 and the graphics are AMAZING!! I dont think xbox has a game that can compete graphics or gameplay wise with god of war 3, its in its own class! This a great system and i would recommend to anyone looking for an excellent deal and all round excellent gaming system!!

After not having a PS3 for a long time going, I finally settled down with one. A lot of my PS3-toting friends play Black Ops, so this worked out well for me. I already have an Xbox 360 and a Wii and I love those as well. I am an avid gamer and am happy to finally have all three current generation home consoles. Overall, the system works and looks great and I'm sure I'll use it for many years!

Honest reviews on PlayStation 3 160GB Call of Duty: Black Ops Bundle

Package includes DS3 controller, USB cable, power cable, composite cable (SD) and COD: BO LE game. The new slim console is very light compared to my old fat 60GB backwards compatible PS3 due to less parts inside, design, etc.

The slim is very quiet upon powering on, but disc reading for COD: BO is loud. Demon's Souls didn't create the same amount of disc tray read and load noise as BO. Another new PS3 slim I purchased around the same time for my nephews also had the same loud disc reading noise effects when loading BO so it seems normal. Personally, I still prefer the original fat PS3 design quality over this new cheaper smaller look, but it doesn't matter when it comes to gaming purposes.

Black Ops LE comes with zombie modes unlocked from start, but 5 new maps are not on disc like new Borderlands: GotY edition versions. You get a one time use PSN voucher redeem code to use to download new maps, so you will need Internet access. Overall, very good bundle package for the same regular retail price of stand alone PS3 package.

This bundles is a bargain, you will have 1 ps3 slim, 1 video game (black ops) and 1 dlc for only %300!! I also buy all the accessories for the move experience. The the way to simulate that you are IN the game is the move, the kinect is awesome but you can feel like a stupid guy without anything in your hands to simulate the gun, sword or the weapon that the video game character has. I love my Ps3!

This game is one of those great games that are fun to play with family and friends, and the one that you always end up playing over-and-over. It's great for people who like Crash Bandicoot games or just like to have fun. It has many great features such as: aventure-race through worlds to collect trophies, talismans, and relics to enter boss races, championships, etc. arcade1 or 2 player: the racing with other characters in one of different 25 tracks or a cup race. plus you get to shoot the other racers with rockets, bombs, trap them, ram them, hit them, push them off the road, almost anything you want. vs. 2player game with only each other to trick and beat this time. battle(a 2-player game) great!!! battle it out in an area where players can shoot each other with boms or rockets, ram each other, using all the powerups, trap each other onto tnts, etc.

A great game for people of any age!!

This game has it all! Great graphics (some of the best I have seen on the playstation), good sound (not annoying), awesome playability, good learning curve, longevity and a sense of humor.

This game is suitable for just about everyone, regardless of skill level or age. The easy controls, wide range of fun characters and cartoony graphics will appeal to younger gamers, but it is sufficiently challenging for the older gamer. Completing the game is a little too easy (I finished Arcade mode and Adventure mode within a month, and I'm not exactly a great gamer) but the time trials, relic races and multiplayer modes will keep even advanced gamers coming back for more.

I have played many racing games on the Playstation, Dreamcast and N64 including Wipeout 3, Micro Machines V3, Mario Kart, Wave Race 64, SnowBoard Kids and Diddy Kong racing, but this game beats them all.

Naughty dog did a great job on this game, just like they did on the previous Crash games.

I would recommend this game to anyone who owns a Playstation.

There's no doubt about it. "CTR: Crash Team Racing" is a ton of fun, and is the best racing game on ANY console. That's right, you heard me. The BEST.

Developed by Naughty Dog, "CTR: Crash Team Racing" features 8 characters: Crash Bandicoot, Dr. Neo Cortex (Crash's enemy), Tiny Tiger and Dingodile (Cortex's henchmen), Coco (Crash's sister), N. Gin (Cortex's lab assistant), Polar (Crash's pet polar bear cub), and Pura (Coco's pet Bengal tiger cub). You can also unlock 7 other characters who are hidden in the game: Ripper Roo (a psychotic kangaroo in a straitjacket), Papu Papu (a grumpy Indian chief), Komodo Joe and Pinstripe (more of Cortex's henchmen), Fake Crash (Crash's evil twin), N. Tropy (the master of time), and the mysterious, super-secret character Penta Penguin. Each character has his/her own special strengths and weaknesses.

The game spans across 18 race tracks -15 of which are named after the 15 racers (the other three are generic). Some track themes include a beach, a cave, a mine, a pyramid, a castle, a laboratory, a canyon, a sewer, and even through a system of underwater tubes!

Trust me, this is one game you wanna play. Even if you're not familiar with Crash, you'll still enjoy it. Hands down fun.
