I say it works fine but it needs a little fine tuning when you install the drivers.
DO NOT USE the disc it comes with. check this vid out if you want a proper install procedure.

I say don't use the disc but it has been a year and maybe the person who sells this will update the disc but usually that is not their job. The drivers that come with it don't work right with win7/8. And installing it the way the utube vid won't mess anything up. Just follow his instructions exactly.

Review of XCOM: Enemy Within
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $39.99
Sale Price: $39.96

This game was fantastic! I was a huge fan of the first game, and admittedly I was skeptical if this game would be worth the money. XCOM enemy within, adds to what was great in last year's title, and improves it by adding new strategic elements (mechs and mutants). The mech and mutant additions, are modifiers to your existent squad. The mutants and mechs add significant strategic ability to your squad, but they must be weighed against the expense in developing these classes and the downside of mechs of not being able to use cover. I was concerned that this would make your squad too strong compared to the enemy, however this game adds excellent new enemy units to help balance both sides to the encounter.
These strategic elements, make the old levels play like new while also adding a new level of strategy to consider when assembling your squad. In addition, XCOM adds new game modes that help to prevent the mini-missions from becoming too repetitive. This includes game types: (1) escorting a civilian, (2) king of the hill and (3) capture the flag. In addition to these new game types, XCOM adds a new enemy, EXALT further adding to the new layers to this game.
One of my few criticisms of the first game was that every single level played the same, and after significant play became repetitive. XCOM Enemy Within fixes this flaw, and I stress that I cannot recommend this game higher. I encourage anyone on the fence to buy this title and enjoy hours of entertainment!
The "Commander Edition" (as it's called on Consoles) includes:
the full game XCOM: Enemy Unknown (previously released on Xbox360/PC/PS3)
all previously released DLC & updates (i.e. Operation Slingshot; Elite Soldier Pack)
the new Enemy Within over-haul (See Below)
And a few unmentioned changes to the game:
Enemy AI has been greatly improved and enemies are deadlier than ever
New appearance and language options for soldiers (Russians speaking Russian!)
Can award medals to soldiers that give unique bonus attributes (e.g. Never Panic, etc)
Select "Second Wave" game-play options unlocked from the start! (very fun)
The Enemey Within part is key as much of the game has been tweaked, vamped up, and generally been improved upon. Enemy Within is absolutely PACKED with new features and more than more than make up for the purchase price (imo). So far I have had only minor issues with game play; I have encountered one glitch that forced me to fail (or reload) on one of the early EXALT missions, an NPC became stuck on a mission and I could not progress. Be very careful on Ironman mode until this is patched. Otherwise, game-play had been phenomenal just what I've been waiting for!
Notes (correct me if I am wrong):
*Does not share save files with XCOM: Enemy Unknown
*Does not share Achievements with XCOM: Enemy Unknown
*Everything is on one disk and there are no codes or vouchers for dwnld
*May cause a sever lack of sleep
---
New Additions (taken from above):
* New Weapons and Equipment: Give your operatives an extra tactical edge with new projects from your engineering team and the Foundry
* New Enemy Threats: Adopt new tactics to counter the threats from two new alien types and a deadly new organization known as EXALT.
* New Strategic Resource: A valuable new alien resource, known as Meld, has been discovered. Secure it on the battlefield and use it carefully back at base to unlock new research and upgrades.
* New Tactical Challenges and Maps: Cloak-and-dagger and intelligence operations provide new tactical challenges on over 40 new battlefields.
* New Multiplayer maps, units, and abilities: Create your custom squad from a wider array of options and dominate your opponent in intense, one-on-one, turn-based matches.
* New Soldier Abilities: Research a new alien technology to advance the capabilities of your operatives:Gene Mods: Construct the Genetics Lab to physically enhance your operatives? abilities including augmentations to the chest, brain, eyes, skin, and legs. MECs: Build the Cybernetics Lab to enable the construction of the new Mechanized Exoskeletal Cybersuit, or MEC. The new MEC Trooper class has specialized abilities and each suit can be upgraded with new weapons including the flamethrower and grenade launcher.
If you were excited about (and purchased) XCOM Enemy Unknown, and loved it, then this is still worth getting to see all the new content and maps. If you look at it as purchasing a bunch of DLC at once, then it takes the sting away from needing to buy the game again. (hoping for more DLC but not holding my breath)
If you thought XCOM:EU was frustrating and complex, avoid this game. It's more complex.
But, hopefully, you somehow missed XCOM:EU, are unaware/don't care that the developers fell a little short of the original 1994 game, and really want to find a challenging turn-based-strategy game with a revolutionary console UI, excellent graphics, jump-out-of-your-seat fun moments and hours-upon-hours of replay potential. Then you can just buy this game, by itself, and be happy as a clam.
1) It's a bit unfair to release no content for an existing game as a new game instead of a DLC. I do like the new content, but it doesn't really change anything fundamental.
2) There's something buggy (perhaps it's just my disk). I've had 2 Ironman gamefiles that refuse to load due to file corruption. So frustrating and without the fun of trying to save a game for the jaws of defeat after a squad-wipe.

I'm a HUGE fan of the original 1994 XCOM UFO Defense. There is still no turn-based strategy game that can touch it (save-for the graphics of course). Yes, even though it's from 1994. I highly recommended that you go play it (on steam, etc.), before or after playing this game. These games look ~20 years better but have only 1/2 of the scope, customization, replayability as the 1994 XCOM UFO Defense game.If you were excited about (and purchased) XCOM Enemy Unknown, and loved it, then this is still worth getting to see all the new content and maps. I'd love to give this a good review, but I can't for two reasons:1) It's a bit unfair to release no content for an existing game as a new game instead of a DLC.

Freestyle Street Soccer Review
This game is preety good has gang members pushing shoving and netbreakers. I loved street vol. 2, and NFL Street, but this overdoing it. Next thing you know they're probly going to make kick the can Street. They're some good thing though about this game. You can start off with the gang shakedown, honeys, or skaterboys. You go up to the top gang STREET BALLERS. They're basketball players that play Street SOCCER? You can also pick up objects and through them at people. This game is rated T for strong language.

Reviews of Bionic Commando - Xbox 360 (Game)
I had been anticipating this release for quite some time. I saw a gameplay trailer for it almost two years ago and had been waiting anxiously for it ever since. I'm not disappointed, but some gamers might be.
There's a lot of ground to cover, so I'll try to be succinct.
Unfortunately, if you're not into this game for the nostalgia factor then you're probably going to grow tired of it somewhat quickly after you complete the story mode once or twice. The multiplayer may grab your fancy and keep you coming back, but if you're a CoD or GoW or Halo (later referred to as "The Big 3" in this same review) online player than likely you will find yourself putting your "drug of choice" back in when you need an MP fix.
If you played the original Bionic Commando for the Nintendo Entertainment System this game will have lots of retro flare for you (the Title screen music is the original title music from the NES game redone on piano) and many references to the 1988 game. For those of you who never played it, you're still in for a fun 3rd Person action/adventure/shooter.
I myself am the type to flip through the game manual for a few minutes before I take the game itself for a spin. And at first glance I have to admit I thought the controls would be rather complicated, but I was wrong. Most actions in the game are simple and can be completed with one or two button presses. Use of the Grappling arm (that pretty much IS Bionic Commando) is extremely simple, and fun as well. Some swinging tricks take a little getting used to, but anyone who's played a Spider Man game on 360 will likely have no trouble at all adapting. But fear not if you haven't, it still really simple to get the hang of.
The game looks impressive. The colors are vivid, the shading is nice, and water and shadow effects are pulled off nicely. Sometimes it looks a bit fuzzy, but I blame that on my TV. The levels/areas themselves, unfortunately, feel somewhat restrictive, and life-threatening radiation often prevents you from swinging to an enticing perch.
When it comes to achievements, Bionic Commando is probably a pretty easy completion (1000/1000 GS) for most avid gamers. The achievements are based around the game's Challenges, which require you to perform certain actions throughout the game and reward you with weapon and armor upgrades. Most challenges are relatively simple, but progress in difficulty throughout the game.
The weapons in the game are diverse and fun to use. Enemies die with satisfying replicated agony, and Spencer (your character) makes many little wise-cracks and quips throughout the game. Sure, it's nothing original in that respect but always amusing when done well. I think it was done well in this case.
Unfortunately, the game doesn't really offer much in the way of replay value. There are 3 difficulty levels, and many collectibles stashed throughout the games areas. There are achievements in the game centered around finding all of the collectibles and completing all of the challenges, but you must find/complete them all in one play-through to unlock the completion achievement. That is really the only replay value I see in the game for those just looking for something new to play.
The multiplayer is nothing new or innovative when it comes to game-type selection. Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag are available. But, if you're looking for something a little different than the aforementioned "Big 3" than this might grab your attention for a while. The grappling hook can make battles very interesting.
So, if you really liked the original 1988 NES release of Bionic Commando, you're going to like this game as a matter of principle alone when it comes to content and story. The gameplay mechanics and vivid scenery will keep you playing. There's even and old friend or two who pop up to say Hi.
If you never even knew there was a 1988 NES Bionic Commando until you read this review, you still may enjoy this game if you like 3rd person action/adventure/shooter games with a few unique mechanics and quippy dialog.
-There weren't COMPLETELY random toxic areas to limit your exploration and to punish you for no apparent reason.
-You didn't pretty much die every time you fell into water. (Seriously,in some places it's maybe a foot deep-just stand up for goodnessake!)
-The controls weren't so completely unforgiving at times when you need them to be accommodating.
-Swinging from floating mine to floating mine was actually nuanced and smooth instead of insanely aggravating because of poor attach detection and doofus swing mechanics.
-You didn't have to re-play huge chunks of the game over and over again because the save spots were in such stupid and unintuitive places.
-If the story was little more than truly ignore-worthy.
-The main character was less of a tool-shed.
Of course it really would've sucked if not for:
-Really great graphics.
-Fun grappling mechanics.
-Decent combat.
-Taking enemies out by throwing cars and debris with your mechanical arm (One of the game's ONLY saving graces)
-A couple of cool bosses and some really great larger enemies.
I wanted to like this game. I really did. There are some really great moments in it, but man it was hard to get through with all of the frustration. A poorly designed game, with deeply flawed controls a good experience does not make. Play something fun instead.
Other than that though it's pretty fun swinging around the levels spider-man style. Too bad the swinging mechanic isn't too polished or I may have given it a high rating.
I found the controls as good, if not better, than most Spider-Man games. And it is like playing Spider-Man with a weapon arsenal. It's just awesome to fling yourself off a high rise, falling, then at the last moment hitting your grappling arm to a light pole swinging up in the air, taking out your gun, firing at you enemies below, then before you even hit the ground throw your arm again into an enemy, fling him in the air and empty the last of your rounds into him.
There are great moments like this throughout the game. The environments are wonderfully built around the grappling mechanic, and surprisingly diverse, from destroyed cityscapes, to jungles, to vast underground caverns.
The one downside is the story. Utterly ridiculous.

It was a well put together game, I couldn't put it down. The story line about spencer's wife was a little far fetched. And I had expected more in the ending then there was. The bionic swing was probably my favorite thing in the game. My fav weapon, throwing stuff at my targets. The thing I would change would be the story line about the wife. (My wife is still confused about it). Look forward to a second one (Hint hint)Honest reviews on Bionic Commando - Xbox 360 (Game)
I've heard a lot of negative things about this game so I avoided it forever, but I couldn't pass it up for 2 Dollars. I actually enjoyed myself playing this game. Maybe most people were upset because they paid full price for the game, and I understand that completely. I would have been angry as well. The game is pretty shallow gameplay wise and the voice acting is god awful.Other than that though it's pretty fun swinging around the levels spider-man style. Too bad the swinging mechanic isn't too polished or I may have given it a high rating.

Spider-Man/Spider-Man 2 Bundle Review
This is a great idea! We are so happy that they released both games in one pack! My 7 year old son received his first Gameboy for X-mas 2004, at which time we'd had problems locating the first Spiderman GBA game. Then the second game sold out locally as well. My son had played both games and had individually rated them about a 7-8 on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being Excellent. But with both games in the same game pack he gives it a 9, overall. He's completed both games and tells me he can find little or no difference between the single game pack and the dual game pack. We hope they release more of the older games on dual packs! It's a great value and helps keep gamepak clutter down. If you're looking for a more intensive review of the individual games: we've found that Gameinformer is consistently accurate in their reviews. It speaks for itself when your child owns approximately 70 games and spends most of his gameboy time with his Spiderman dual pak, Wolverine dual pak, Metroid (all), and Ultimate Spiderman. We actually wanted to give it 4.75 out of 5 stars.I purchased this game for my grandson and he started to play it almost from the moment it was unwrapped.

Reviews of Bluetooth Wireless Headset For Sony Playstation 3 PS3
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $19.99
Sale Price: $14.59

This headset is probably the best value for $20 if you're just wanting to voice-chat with other players online. It is VERY responsive and very clear on default settings. I suggest you lower the output volume via PS3 "Manage Audio Devices" settings (somewhere on the XMB screen). If you don't, other players will hear you breathing, hear your family members/friends talking, and/or hear the sounds of gameplay coming from your TV/controller.
It charges pretty fast. The device manual recommended at least an 8-hr charge before its first use if not an overnight charge, but it must have been pre-charged before shipping because it took less than two hours for it to completely charge with the PS3.
To charge, simply connect the USB cord to the PS3 and the other end to the headset. It will continue to flash a red light until it is completely charged.
***This package (at least from e-Forcity), does not come with an AC charger.***
I started panicking when I opened the contents and found that there was no wall charger, because even the manual stated that the contents would include the charger...but it must not have been updated because the only "charger" it comes with is the USB cord.
This headset is NOT for any type of surround-sound environment. First of all, there's only one ear piece. It can get a bit uncomfortable after a few hours, simply because the ear piece doesn't cover the entire ear, making it push against the tiny bones (you'll feel what I mean after removing the headset after long gameplay sessions...). But the good thing is that you can just switch the headset around so that it covers the other ear. Perhaps switching between each ear every hour will help. Just don't leave it on one ear for so long.
Overall, this is a good headset. I'll give it five stars because of the quality I expected for $20. It's easy to use, players will definitely be able to hear you [and clearly], and it's wireless.
*Edit (5/6/12)*
For those that are experiencing problems with the mic, you have to remember that it may be the game itself or your internet connection that will affect the quality of sound both on the sending and receiving end. If you have dial-up (if this is the case, I don't even know how you're gaming online) or a slower version of DSL, playing a game and using a mic will cause a split (sometimes uneven) with your bandwidth (internet speed being used).
For those who are familiar with VoIP (i.e. Vonage) while having a "not-so-fast" internet connection, you may have experienced a slow-down while surfing the web if someone else is using the phone (or vice-versa) even though there are ways to avoid this (Quality of Service a.k.a. "Traffic Control" via your router = controlling how much bandwidth each device gets).
The same goes with gaming on your PS3 you are basically "talking on the phone" while playing, except that the PS3 can prioritize the bandwidth usage for gameplay instead of for the mic. The bulk of the bandwidth goes towards the server you are playing in.
So, if your maximum internet speed is 756 kbps (I used to have a slow version of DSL and understand the pain), your PS3 could be using almost all 756 kbps (servers require a minimum connection speed different for each game/server) in order to keep a steady connection (so that there is minimal or no lag). However, this leaves little or no bandwidth for your mic.
When I mentioned "the game itself" could be causing the problem, that's because I experienced mic issues with Borderlands (PS3). My friend and I had difficulty hearing each other with incomplete sentences and stuttering on both ends. We then tried Uncharted 2 and Battlefield 3 and had no problems.
I did upgrade to Wireless Stereo Headset, but I still use this when I'm charging the Sony Official Wireless Stereo Headset.

At 1st glance, I was skeptical on the sound quality on the PS3 and with my cellphone. The sound quality is 5x better than your above average Bluetooth. I played for about 2 hours and it is very comfortable and hardly noticeable from user end. I you want a great, inexpensive Bluetooth headset, this is one to get. Oh and pairing is super duper easy!!!!Best Deals for Bluetooth Wireless Headset For Sony Playstation 3 PS3
For BF3 all the comm chatter now comes through the headset and the sound effects and stuff still come through my TV, which wasn't what I was expecting but works out even better. Lets me turn the volume down when my room mates are sleeping, but still hear my homies loud and clear. Never had any reception complaints from them either, we all use the same headset and everyone hears fine. Great for the cheap price.Honest reviews on Bluetooth Wireless Headset For Sony Playstation 3 PS3
I bought this for gaming with my PS3 and I paid around $18. I LOVE the bluetooth wireless technology and set up is very easy. One thing to note is that you only get voice through the headset and not the game audio. That isn't a big deal for me as the only reason I wear the headsets is to hear my friends. It is light and comfortable and doesn't take up a lot of space. I would also bet that it works with my phone and car if I wanted to connect. I can hear my friends just fine and they can hear me. My buddy bought $85 gaming headset the same week I bought these I think I WIN!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Bluetooth Wireless Headset For Sony Playstation 3 PS3

Xbox 360 Official NFL Oakland Raiders Controller Faceplate Review
I really enjoy using the Raiders Face-Plate on my wireless controller. It dresses up my controller quite nicely. Also, it shows my loyalty to my favorite NFL Football Team. What's really neat is that you can get one of these face-plates for any of the 32 teams in the NFL. I bought the Dallas Cowboys face-plate for a good friend of mine and he loved it. The best thing about this product is that it just snaps into place on the existing controller WITH NO INSTALLATION REQUIRED!

Best 360 Soldier Of Fortune Payback Deals
I recently bought this on a trade in, mainly because the place where I got it didn't have anything else to choose from, and I was suprised that it's actually really fun. It doesn't have much of a story, but I don't think story really matters for this game, because this is all about the guns and the shooting. Just let me stress that the guns in this game are awesome. I'm not really big on fps games, but I've already beat this on normal, and now I'm replaying it on hard, just because it's fun, and I also wanted to try out the rest of the guns that I didn't on my first run through. Let me explain this game a little, so that you can get a better idea of what it consist of.
At the beginning of every mission, you get to take 3 guns with you (one of those being a handgun). You have your primary weapon, secondary weapon, sidearm, and grenades.
After you've chose your guns then you can push X to customize them. Weapons have slots: The first slot is different scopes, second is the suppressor, and the last is the alternate modification for that specific gun (like The M16A3 has the option to equip grenade launcher 40mm), and handgrips, etc.
You can't choose from every weapon in the beginning mission, but in the later missions you unlock more.
This is NOT an exploring game like Borderlands, so the levels are set pretty much to a specific path, with some small exceptions, like when your in groups of buidings, or there is different trails. The main object in SOF is to KILL EVERYONE!!! Like I said...I beat the game on normal, and now I'm playing on hard, and earning different acheivements on hard mode (for those of you that care about acheivements).
Here is a list of all the guns:
Assault rifles~
G36E
M16A3
AK-47
TCW-L
TCW-H
XAR-4
516
CAR-12
Shotguns~
M1014
CQC.729
CAWS-90
SMG~
PDW-7
PDW-7 (DUEL)
MP5SD5
P90
SV.45ACP
SV.45ACP (DUEL)
SR-2007
AMP-9
Machine guns~
M249
PKR-47
M48 SAW
PK41
Sniper rifles~
M40A3
CR8
TS-50
And then you have a AGL-6P, which is a Grenade launcher, and a RPG-7, a Rocket launcher. I can't list all the MODS, because every gun varies.
My favorites would include the TCW-L (ASSAULT), the SR-2007 (SMG), and the CR8 (SNIPER), But all these guns are simply amazing, and just plain fun to blow peoples arms, legs, and head the F*** OFF!!! Every body part is detachable, and I love how the neck just spurts out blood when the enemy takes a shotgun to the face. Goodtimes.

Buy Star Wars Starfighter Special Edition
Please guys you all need to actually play the game through before you review. You must look at all aspects of this solid fighter. This is game is great with stunning graphics and great gameplay and in depth missions. The added two player is also great (with many modes of play). This is a true XBOX game and should/will be a flagship game. So if you want a XBOX but can't decide on a game to go with it go with this or DOA3.
Now, on to Obi-Wan!
actually play the game a while and dont be a baby and give up on it so soon. you have to try to get somewhere and not just sit on the first level crying about it.
this game has awesome graphics
sweet gameplay 2 player modes
and fun deep CHALLENGING not impossible levels and missions
this is a great addition to t your xbox collection peace out xboxers
This Special Edition starts with the regular Starfighter title (available on other platforms) and adds in extra levels and tons of multiplayer features!
To start with, there are three different characters you play, each in his or her own style of ship. Rhys is a Nabooian cadet with a little quick fighter, with limited torpedoes. Vana is a mercenary her ship can tag enemies and then blast them. Nym is the alien, and he's got bombs on his, great for blasting capital ships.
You take these three different ships on a series of missions, both on planet and in space. You dodge through asteroid belts, zip along narrow canyons, defend bases and blow apart the bases of your enemies. There's tons of fun dogfighting, trying to blow up ships both large and small. The missions make sense, and your wingmen obey commands with reasonable AI.
The graphics are beautiful! There are rivers snaking through green valleys. Desolate planets with mining operations. Giant asteroid fields that you have to dodge through. The ships each look and act differently, but are generally similar enough that it's not a huge chore to switch amongst them as you go through missions.
Even after you finish the missions, the multi-play is immensely fun. Grab some friends and play one of their various game types they have available. Just wait until broadband comes!
Better than the PS2 versions certainly, but while this is a must for Star Wars fans, it is probably better rented for everyone else.
Lets hope that Jedi Starfighter is better!

The graphics are great, but they do show that they are ported and not developed for the X-Box. The sound is outstanding, the gameplay is GREAT, and that Mission 14, I could thrown that disk if it had taken me any longer to get through it. I swear, that thing was impossible. I still cannot say exactly how I beat it, but I did . What a great game to go along with some of the great games on PC, such as Tie Fighter and X-Wing Alliance. Now, on to Obi-Wan!

I was always a huge Wing Commander fan. I watched as the graphics moved from blocky pixels to slightly less blocky shapes, to ships that you could actually see emblems on. So the game has everything it needs, good graphics, a reasonable story and the traditional lucas sounds and music. All this should make for a Star Wars flight fest yet oddly it doesn't. Perhaps it is the pacing of the game, the control system or the lack of familiarity with the characters that does it, but playing the game feels more like something you have to do than something you really want to. Of course you will continue playing the game in the hope that things get better later in the game.Better than the PS2 versions certainly, but while this is a must for Star Wars fans, it is probably better rented for everyone else.

Xbox 360 Controller Custom Mod Kit - White - Thumbsticks, Dpad, RB Review
gave me a regular Phillips head screwdriver. the main thing I needed was the torx. very dissappointed. no point in all the parts if I cant open the controller.
Aside from that, all the buttons look and feel as if Microsoft made them, fit perfectly and look great! They are slightly whiter than the original Xbox finish, but I don't mind it and I think it looks great!

I explicitly checked to make sure that this product would come with the T8 screwdriver, which it purported to. When the package arrived......no screwdriver. After purchasing the correct screwdriver from Home Depot, I took apart my controller to install the customization pieces. The A,B,Y, and X buttons weren't long enough to properly activate the receptacle pad under the buttons. They would respond about 50% of the time when installed. Next, the pieces that were supposed to fit, lining the top and bottom of the controller didn't even come close to fitting. Finally, one of the analog sticks this came with stuck when installed. The stick would get stuck in a position and wouldn't return to the neutral position. Were I to attempt playing a game like that, my character would run indefinitely forward. Looked cool when customized, but if you use your controller for anything other than display, like I don't know, CONTROLLING YOUR GAME, then I definitely wouldn't buy, as every piece with the exception of ONE was faulty and/or unusable. Most upsetting was the lack of screwdriver. I love screwdrivers.Best Deals for Xbox 360 Controller Custom Mod Kit - White - Thumbsticks, Dpad, RB
I bought and all the button fit great until i figured out there are no start and back buttons, which is fine because there wasn't supposed to be. I wanted to take a part a whit controller of mine and switch those buttons, and when I got about half way thru unscrewing all the screws they were all striped. I thought that was weird so I started trying to screw all the other skews back in, but they seemed striped too. As it turns out the screwdriver that came with the set was striped. So I'm stuck with an open and half open Xbox controller until the new one comes. If you buy this item I recommend ordering a separate screw driver with it.Honest reviews on Xbox 360 Controller Custom Mod Kit - White - Thumbsticks, Dpad, RB

This is a great product, the quality exceeded my expectations. My only concern was the 'start' and 'back' button that didn't fit exactly (left too much space). This wasn't a problem for me though since I was going for an all-white theme, I just left the old ones on.Aside from that, all the buttons look and feel as if Microsoft made them, fit perfectly and look great! SpongeBob SquarePants: Employee of the Month - PC Review
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $29.99
Sale Price: $18.50

The game was great, my 3 year old played all the way through in about 2 hours. But once it's played that's it, nothing new. He now plays through in less than 30 minutes. It keeps his attention, but he's 3. I thought it was thought provoking and fun, until I finished and then to an adult or older child it's useless. The graphics are wonderful and the idea is too, it just needs more treasures and places to use them. I would recommend it to any Spongebob lover that is under 5 yrs old.
the graphics are really good, colorful, and fun to look at.
the levels are fun but like i said only once (MAYBE twice)
I have one complaint: This game is too short. There are 4 different Bikini bottom locations that Spongebob must go through but these aren't LONG levels, you could beat each one in 10 minutes once you get good and even 20 minutes for your first time (it's really easy OVERALL)
the folowingstory synopsis should explain more.
SYNOPSIS:
SpongeBob wins the 'Employee of the Month' award again, so Mr. Krabs decides to name him the 'Employee of the Year'. He then receives some mail 2 tickets to Neptune's Pacific Paradise (usually called Neptune's Paradise in the game). He gives them to SpongeBob for winning the 'Employee of the Year' award. And that's where everything begins.....
Spongebob has to collect some money to board the bus (Level 1 objective) and then when the bus gets stranded in rock bottom you'll have to work to fight your way out of RB only to get stranded in 3 other levels/locales. Finally though, Spongebob is rewarded when he makes it to park of his dreams.
Overall: I recommend this game to BIG Spongebob game junkies and other than that i'd have to recommend that you stay away from this game and get "Battle for Bikini Bottom" for Playstation 2, Gamecube, or XBOX (the PC version sucks)
"Employee of the Month" is FUN, but is REALLY short and you can beat it in 45 minutes (NO JOKE). I played it my first time and beat it completely in 90 minutes over a period spanning 2 days. my second time i played it, I beat it in 45 minutes and enjoyed it far less.

Discount Intellivision Lives - Xbox
This isn't really fair, since I haven't actually purchased this product (I don't own a PS2). But I have played it extensively on a friend's machine.
Those of us who owned an Intellivision rather than an Atari felt like members of an enlightened cult. Atari was Duran Duran; we were the Violent Femmes. In other words, we knew our games had the better action, the better controller, the better graphics, certainly the better commercials but we somehow felt ignored by the general game-playing public. This was fine with us. We wanted Intellivision to be our dirty little secret.
Which brings me to this pack. The makers did an excellent job of translating Intellivision's still-unique game controller, and in their ways, the games are still fun and even challenging. I get chills, even now, when I see the little Running Man guy do his super-smooth slow-motion sprint. "Snafu" is and always has been a so-simple-it's-brilliant little gem, "Utopia" is great two-player fun (never before or since has super-slow game play built so much tension), "Astrosmash" rocks (pun intended), "Sea Battle" is tricky and creative, and, well, there you go. The rest are a decidedly mixed-bag. You'll squeal with joy when you fire each one up, you'll say "Oh, I remember this one, it's GREAT," and you'll get bored before 10 minutes are up.
But I think most buyers purchasing this set aren't looking for great games. They're looking to recapture that magnificent anticipation of being 10 and popping in a new cartridge (one your folks paid $30 for) and playing, wide-eyed, nifty cuts like "B-17 Bomber" and "Space Spartans." They're looking for the bittersweet taste of nostalgia, in other words. But I think they're out of luck. They might get the slightest whiff of it, but then it's back to the grind and the mirror, where you realize you're not a 10-year-old kid but a 30-something dad with a crap job and a mortgage.
Oh..."Swords & Serpents" rocks too, even if they forgot to give the darned game an ending.
If you aren't very familiar with the Intellivision, you're not really the retrogaming target audience, and you should probably move on.
Assuming you're still with me, here's the good news. The games that are in the collection are recreated spot-on perfectly. The controller works exceptionally well given obvious limitations. A right thumbstick-right trigger combination simulates the keypad 1-9 by default. You get used to it, and I certainly can't think of a better way it could have been done. But in games where it makes more sense to do it another way, it was done another way. A, B, X, and Y fire down, right, left, and up, respectively, in Night Stalker. That is, this package was put together by people who understand the games.
And, as far as the games in the package go, basically, all the first party (Mattel and INTV) games are here except the ones that are lost to licensing entanglements. Yes, it means you lose some of the system's best games. Tron Deadly Discs, Burger Time, Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, and Masters of the Universe are not included, and it's a shame.
Further, no matter how much you loved the system, you'll probably admit that some of the games haven't really stood the test of time all that well. Two of the machine's flagship games, Baseball and Astrosmash!, stand out in particular.
But there are 60-some games here. For a $20 package, if you can dig up four or five of them to rekindle your love affair with, you're doing exceptionally well. Most of the games you play once for the nostalgia fix and never see again. But I'm convinced that, for my tastes, Utopia, Super Pro Basketball, Space Armada, Space Battle, Night Stalker, and Shark! Shark! are still honestly fun.
I have Intellivision Lives! for PC, and it is quite good. But putting these games back on the TV with a controller in my hand feels right. I have a good feeling that these games will continue to exist on modern platforms for the foreseeable future and I couldn't be happier. Outstanding product.
One of the big complaints I've heard from gurus is that the controls make playability virtually impossible, but I disagree. My fingers have bled much less than I remember, and games like Astrosmash and B-17 Bomber as fun today as they were originally. Of course, in the world of CGI and high-paced video gaming that takes days to conquer, Nightstalker might take its toll on the average attention span within 15 minutes. Not me, however, as all I really need is this game, a case of beer, and some Smiths blaring on the radio to make my night perfect.
My only complaint is that some of my favorite Intellivision-unique games from the day were created by other companies that do not have software included, such as Sewer Sam, Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, and Microsurgeon. Still, with 60 games (around 20 of them still hold up today in my opinion), how can I rationally complain? Cudos for all the extras for hardcore gamers like me to browse through, including programmer interviews, unreleased games, commercials, and unplayable junk that still brings me back.
Next on my wish list: modern day updates of some of these classics. Imagine B-17 Bomber with modern technology utilized, or a Nightstalker sequel. Crave Games, you have made a grown man very happy.

If reading my header you are confused, look for another video game. For those of you familiar with that exclamation from B-17 Bomber, buy this game right away! You get tons of nostalgia and tons of fun with this disk! Sure the nostalgia may wear off after about 10 minutes, but go beyond that and you will find some truly fun games to revisit and play. I spent many hours in my pre-teen years playing Intellivision, and I still own the original system. I hooked it up about 3 years ago and played some of the games. It was fun, but as you can imagine, hooking up the ancient systems was a real pain in the ass! I was so glad to see Intellivision Lives! for X-Box, I bought it right away. Sure some of the best games are not included like D&D and Tron's Deadly Discs, but there are so many great ones here they won't be missed too badly, and hopefully they will be included in a second volume. B-17 Bomber is still fun to play and I get a kick out of the old "Intellivoice" warning me about Flak and Bandits. Night Stalker is great with it's bass-like background music. I still think "Pinball" is highly addictive, and I am trying desperately to teach my 6 year old son the controls for Utopia so we can play. Sanfu is included and still fun to play. Thunder Castle's theme music is still kind of chilling and though very limited, the game play is engrossing. It's also kind of nifty that there are so many games included that I missed the first go around like Shark! Shark! and the Wrestling game. Sure, there is some trouble converting from the old paddle to the new X-Box controller, but it's not something that should hinder you from picking this game up. For $20 or less if used, you are buying hours of entertainment!Honest reviews on Intellivision Lives - Xbox
About 90% of this game is unplayable!! largly in part to the fact that the intellivision had a very uniqe controller thus rendering this game mostly unplayable. Buy this game only if you are a die hard collector. they really should have included a packaged controller, so what if the game would have cost more at least you would be able to play it!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Intellivision Lives - Xbox
All the time that I've spent playing Morrowind over the past few years pales in comparison to those grueling hours playing Utopia back in 1984. . . and with that out of the way, may I say that Intellivision Lives! is the greatest treasure in my video game library today. So many games packed into one cartridge (errr. . . X-BOX CD I mean) that are playable at whim, and in their original form.
