gave me a regular Phillips head screwdriver. the main thing I needed was the torx. very dissappointed. no point in all the parts if I cant open the controller.

I explicitly checked to make sure that this product would come with the T8 screwdriver, which it purported to. When the package arrived......no screwdriver. After purchasing the correct screwdriver from Home Depot, I took apart my controller to install the customization pieces. The A,B,Y, and X buttons weren't long enough to properly activate the receptacle pad under the buttons. They would respond about 50% of the time when installed. Next, the pieces that were supposed to fit, lining the top and bottom of the controller didn't even come close to fitting. Finally, one of the analog sticks this came with stuck when installed. The stick would get stuck in a position and wouldn't return to the neutral position. Were I to attempt playing a game like that, my character would run indefinitely forward. Looked cool when customized, but if you use your controller for anything other than display, like I don't know, CONTROLLING YOUR GAME, then I definitely wouldn't buy, as every piece with the exception of ONE was faulty and/or unusable. Most upsetting was the lack of screwdriver. I love screwdrivers.

I bought and all the button fit great until i figured out there are no start and back buttons, which is fine because there wasn't supposed to be. I wanted to take a part a whit controller of mine and switch those buttons, and when I got about half way thru unscrewing all the screws they were all striped. I thought that was weird so I started trying to screw all the other skews back in, but they seemed striped too. As it turns out the screwdriver that came with the set was striped. So I'm stuck with an open and half open Xbox controller until the new one comes. If you buy this item I recommend ordering a separate screw driver with it.

The largest piece was broken and the tool in the picture was not in the kit. Maybe you will have better luck

This is a great product, the quality exceeded my expectations. My only concern was the 'start' and 'back' button that didn't fit exactly (left too much space). This wasn't a problem for me though since I was going for an all-white theme, I just left the old ones on.

Aside from that, all the buttons look and feel as if Microsoft made them, fit perfectly and look great! They are slightly whiter than the original Xbox finish, but I don't mind it and I think it looks great!
