As other reviews have mentioned, the Soviet Assault add-on adds six Soviet missions interspersed within the original World in Conflict singleplayer campaign. This particular package includes the original World in Conflict, plus the new Soviet missions. For those who missed this excellent strategy game when it was first released in 2007, this is the perfect package for you! The new missions add in new characters, cutscenes, and some very intense fights. It's great to see the Soviet side of the war fleshed out more, the campaign definitely feels much more complete now.

For those who already have the original game, you can find the six new singleplayer missions from Soviet Assault separately for $14.99-$19.99. If you liked the singleplayer, these missions are even better, and in my opinion, well worth it.

If you already have the original World in Conflict, and you don't care about singleplayer, Massive Entertainment released all of the multiplayer additions from Soviet Assault (two new maps, tweaks, etc) COMPLETELY FREE, all you have to do is download Patch #10.

Even you enjoy strategy games, and you haven't tried World in Conflict before, now is your chance!

This is not the kind of strategy game where you can sit back and plot away. You have to move quickly. I quickly learned this fact from this intense game. The graphics and story line are very good. If you liked "Red Dawn" you'll like the game. I've only played a couple of missions, but there seems to be a lot of variability to the missions. I like the use of control points.

I didn't give it all 5 stars because it is so fast paced it can be frustrating to manage your units, your fire support, your resupply options all while trying to hold one point that is being attacked while trying to take another.

I recently purchased a new computer, and after seeing some trailers and noticing that this was only $20 I decided to throw it in my Amazon cart. I was anxiously awaiting this game, but when I received it I must admit I was a bit disappointed.

Graphics and audio in this game are, quite frankly, awesome. Units are modeled in extreme detail and the environment is amazing. Cutscenes are done excellently and the story-line is actually believable. I've also heard of CTDs and other performance issues, but for me it has run smooth as butter.

Gameplay, on the other hand, is completely not what I had anticipated. Whereas I expected a Close Combat style game, I got a Command & Conquer. They call it a Real-Time Strategy, but there is no strategy involved in this game. It's basically throwing your units into combat as fast as you can replace them and ordering air and artillery strikes and...well, that's it.

It's fun for a little while, but any serious war-gamer will be bored after an hour or two.

Honest reviews on World in Conflict - Complete Edition

Hello Folks,

I agree with 3D Viking's statements, with a slight tweak.

I would say that if you have the original game, getting this complete edition is really not worth it. But, if you are new to the game, this complete package is well worth it!

This game has a very simple/slick interface, fantastic graphics and sound. Don't expect this to be the COH series, where you have to base build, and take many little control points (circles). This is more of a real time tactical game. The SP campaigns are fun, but MP, especially where you communicate with your teammates, makes the game very fun. Do not look to this game for using the deep reaches of your intellect, or to have your micromanagement needs met. For that go to Men of War, and its clunky interface.

This game is really a "keep it simple stupid" in its interface and gameplay. Simple is not dumb, it is fun when you talk to your teammates, or are SPing, and want to relax a bit

Regards,

John

For those struggling to play World of Conflict on Windows 7. I found if I installed it normally then it would not function correctly. However I found it worked correctly if I installed it in a non-system directory such as c:worldinconflict (choose custom when you install). This may also apply to Vista because they are fundamentally the same operating systems.

As for the game, it is excellent and full of atmosphere plus easy to get into to. The Complete Edition has all the campaigns from the original World in Conflict plus all 6 campaigns from the Soviet Assault Expansion. It plays out as one whole game which you mainly play as the US forces but also gives you the chance to see the game from the Russian point of view and also play it as the Russians. This adds even more atmosphere and gives a whole new depth to the game.

If you haven't played this game then go ahead and give it a try!

I bought 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand the day it was released. And I must say that it was a solid purchase.

From the moment I opened the package and slipped the disc into my Xbox 360, I was drawn into the action. Simply put, I just could not stop playing, not even for dinner.

The game does have a built in map, via an on screen pointer system that is very efficient and trustworthy. In other words, I found it very hard to get lost in this game.

The only thing I did not like about this game is the almost excessive use of language. I would have preferred if THQ had included a feature where I could censor the langauage, but since this was not an option, I was forced to play the game with my head phones on whenever my 7-year old was around.

But with great graphics, sound effects, and new hard hitting tracks from 50 Cent and his G Unit, as well as straight on solid controls, this game has been much improved over it's "Bulletproof" predecessor.

All-in-all, this game was a MUST buy, and a solid addition to my Xbox 360 collection.

Look, the story is bogus bs and the action is the over the top and not believable at all. But......um.....who cares! This game rocks because its so much fun to play. Great soundtrack, buku guns, and exploding terrorists flying each and every way. What more could my tiny violent heart want. Oh, did I metion the fact ur able to shell out pre-recorded 50 cent spoken insults at will by clicking one the joysticks. The perfect 3rd person shooter to take a break from all the melo-dramatic way too serious games out there today.

If you've played the Club before then you will see the similarity in this game. It's like the Club with a sequel featuring 50 Cent in an actual adventure/story mode. The gameplay and some of the task/missions are just like the Club. From similar killing combos to finding the hidden bullseye targets during the levels. The Graphics are actually pretty sweet if you play it in HD. There's tons of cussing during gameplay and during cinemas. Wouldn't be 50 if it wasn't. Not a serious storyline but a decent one if it were a low budget "B" movie. I don't know if 50 had any part to do with the story or not, but if he did it seems like to me maybe he picked up some of the idea from the movie Home of The Brave that he starred in. But anyway the controls are pretty good. You may notice a few Gears of War moves used in the game (recovering your partner, vehicle stage) Army of Two weapon upgrade. (What, No pimped out weapons?) and a few up close battles from the bourne conspiracy game. The up close fights were not as advanced as the bourne conspiracy but similar. Overall it's a good action game to pick up for anyone who has mastered Gears of War or The Club and has a itchy finger to pull a trigger. This would be the game to play until a better 3rd person shooter comes out. Even better if you can find it on sale cheaper than $50. A good 3rd person action shooter worth looking into.

Honest reviews on 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand

This is one of those games that don't get the props that it should, all due to the protagonist and the some what ridiculous premise of the story. But putting aside the main character and the fact that he's rapping in some cartel infested town in the middle of who knows where, the game actually delivers an action pack that is hard not to like.

You follow the steps of 50 cent after money is owed to him, at your side, you can chose to have a side kick, which unlike many games out there, does not act like dumbed AI that gets in your cross hairs. The game's mechanics and playability are well balanced and I can honestly say I didn't get frustrated once throught out the campaing. You will encounter small challenges that are easy to acomplish, I won't spoil the game for you, so I'll move onto other aspects of the game.

Sound wise, the game is decent, the soundtrack playing on the background, as you would guess, is 50 Cent material, which is pretty good, and I'm not that big on rap. You will hear your sidekick say "fitty, over here!" time and time again, but, it wasn't irritating at all, it was actually helpful when you don't know where to go next, which wasn't the case very often. If you have a surround system, lower the sound effects and voice, so you can hear the rap music a bit louder; by default, the music is played at a subtle level, it doens't interfere with the game's other sound effects. But, I did find myself having the music louder, because I really enjoyed shooting fools to rap tunes.

Graphics are a mixed bag, 50 cent is ugly by default, so not much they could do there; backgrounds were a bit washed out and characters as well, but overall, the game looks surprisingly good.

Controls are perfect, you've got your standard aim down the sights and shoot, covering, blind shooting and CQC.

In conclusion, this is one of those shooters that are easy to pick up and enjoy for a quick gaming session; it is mindless fun (in a good way). If you still have doubts, rent it first, but I know you'll like it as much as I do and will end up buying it, like I did. Hope this helps

i Liked Bulletproof for xbox...this game is kind of Exactly the same. the shooting is Arcade (think The Club/Gears of War) but its just FUN to shoot through the levels with a partner Online in CO-OP mode...which does add to the games Replay and Overall Value. the music fits the action perfectly. if your a Fan of 50 cents music, youll love it. i think the MUSIC tied into the experience of the game is what makes it slightly better than Some arcade shooting games out there. one thing i DIDNT like about the game is the hand to hand fighting sequences...which are Very Slow...this is VERY noticeable when playing CO-OP and watching your partner engage in the Slowest fist fight youv ever seen take place in your life. but like i said, thats the Only issue i found with it. overall, this is a Fun, Casual shooting game you can just pick up and play. if your into Rap Music and Arcade Shooting Games, you should definitely Try this game out. IMO, its up there with Gears of War, Call Of Duty and the like...and slightly more Fun than those titles as well.

DDR2 fixes some of the problems from the first version. First, it actually saves your settings (I personally got tired of having to turn off the hand markers every time I started up the game). Also, it allows you to start the groove arena over as a different user if multiple people want the challenge. And other seemingly broken aspects of DDR1 are also fixed -the timing of arrows, difficulty level, etc actually WORK. I wish this had been the case in the original release. There's also more help for beginners, like bars to show the beat/arrow timing you can turn on, and the ability to slow down the song and arrows to take on a new challenge.

The songs well, there's a mix of good and not so good. But I think that's to be expected. I got tired of dancing to the same songs over and over, so it's refreshing and welcome. It also seems like they're targeted towards easier play, with less difficulty on Difficult and Expert level. I haven't unlocked every song yet.

The graphics look better both the dancers and stages. The Mii addition is kind of funny, but not that bad. You get a choice of certain Mii bodies to stick with your head, some better than others.

Basically this is what DDR1 should have been. If you've got DDR1 and felt shorted, I think you'll be glad to pick up DDR2. And if you're a beginner, I'd skip DDR1 and go straight to this version.

I play these games because they're fun. . . I don't care about the quality of the covers or whatever, so long as they're fun to dance to. . . in that sense, this game is great, as expected. There are a bit fewer of the hyperactive Jpop songs that I like, but I'm not sure those had much domestic appeal.

One major warning: third party dance mats are not compatible with Hottest Party 2, even if they worked on Hottest Party 1. You can confirm this with complaints all around the internet. Those extra dance mats you bought for parties? Sorry. The fancy high-end mats you bought to improve your gaming experience? Sorry. You're stuck with the soft mat that comes with the game. Since most players "graduate" to high end mats and Konami doesn't make high-end mats, you're somewhat precluded from that. It's disappointing, but I'm returning my copy and sticking to Hottest Party 1 because of this issue.

I've owned Hottest Party 2 for about a month now -what a great buy!

I bought the game as a way to provide exercise without having to go to a gym. It definitely does the trick for cardio. I breath heavily, I sweat, and I feel lighter on my feet.

I'm a big guy, and I was worried that this might make ddr the wrong choice for me. Not so there is an option to turn off "jumping" in the game. After doing so, I find it is pretty low impact. That is, unless you've twisted your feet in knots and have to hop a bit to make sure you don't miss an arrow.

I've never been a great dancer, and I doubt this game will fix that. (I've only made it to "basic" mode after a month.) Basic is plenty to get your heart pumping though. No particular expertise required.

Overall, this is a great game and definitely worth the cost.

Honest reviews on Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 2 with Dance Mat - Nintendo Wii

Okay, I am not a huge gamer, and our Wii hasn't even had time to gather dust. But friends with PlayStation have been telling me about DDR for several years, and how much I would enjoy it, especially for the exercise aspect.

So I bought this package game + mat. After a week or so of this, I know I will be making this part of my workout routine. However, I am not using it as it came straight out of the box.

First this is a moderate to high impact routine (once you get into it). The thin mat it comes with is not up to the supporting older joints, especially when it looks like supportive sneakers would tear it up. (I've been using bare feet with much success.)

However, this is easily remedied by placing the pad on foam floor tiles (making sure to put something antislip under the tiles themselves if placed on carpet I bought mine at Sam's Club in years past, don't know if they still have them now). Since you cannot use the high-end third party mats that have foam like this inside them with this particular game, this is a quick, affordable alternative, and seems to offer good protection (my diseased hip joints aren't aching much after doing this every other day for the past week for the level of impact, this is amazing for me).

Second treat it like a workout. If you have knee and/or ankle braces, wear them. Stretch out, and do five minutes or so of lower-ranked routines to loosen up. If you have a BOSU, do a little balance warm-up, too.

Third you will want to tweak the options, but be aware you're not going to do that until you pick your mode (I haven't tried anything but the workout mode yet), your player format, your dancer, etc. Make sure you're not registering as a guest otherwise you'll have to do this every time make your own account inside the mode. When you finally come to the menu, you will want to turn off the hand shakes (unnecessary you're going to be using arm movements to help balance anyway once you get to higher levels), you will want to turn off the gimmicks (i.e. the special arrows), turn off the jumps (i.e. when you have to hit two arrows at once) and counter-intuitively you will want to turn on the cuts (i.e. the quick taps) to get rid of them.

Now, is this how a real DDR game is played? I'm guessing not. However, for the DDR/Wii newbie in the workout mode who has some joint issues, you will find you'll get to the more difficult levels which are more challenging much faster and without messing up your joints. It's not about being a DDR champion, it's about the workout.

As for the footwork if you are an old-hand at taking aerobics classes, you can handle the footwork with the option changes I noted above. It will take practice, but within a week, I've been able to go from "beginner" to "difficult" (I haven't tried "Expert" level yet) fairly quickly.

I haven't been in the main parts of the game, only workout mode. I'm not sure how it differs, only that it has the silly little calorie counter and the timer, which to me is the best part. I shouldn't do this more than 30-45 minutes until my joints get used to it, and it would be so easy to do this for 90-120 minutes without blinking.

While more fun than an elliptical machine, treadmill or stationary bike, DDR will not replace a really hard workout I sweat, but not terribly much. And the gaps in between routines even when you repeat the same routine is annoying. (I would love for Konami to perhaps note when someone has turned off gimmicks and therefore turn off the informative screens about them that plays every time you start a track.) But for a general, getting-off-your butt-and-moving-around routine? It's solid.

And watch yourself on the mat controls. If you're in the menu picking out a song or level, it is way too easy to drift into the wrong track or select the wrong level. There is no way to go back once you picked a track and difficulty, so you're stuck with what you've chosen. More fun is the first time you're standing on an arrow and don't realize it, and the tracks just whiz right by or the difficulty scrolls at the speed of sound. And I have really little feet that easily fit inside the squares on the mat!

So as a late 30-something with damage to hips, ankles and knees (from former workouts ;) ), I'm really enjoying DDR as a way to shake up my workout routine. I'm looking forward to unlocking some other music (some tracks I like more than others, but I'm finding as I advance through the levels, I hear the music less the arrows are coming up too fast to do anything more than concentrate on the beat), and trying some of the other modes once I'm sure I've got the hang of things.

I have to tell you how much our family loves this game. We love the first too. Our boys are ages 5 and 6, and they would play it non-stop if we let them. It's a great cardio workout and a lot of family fun. Watching the boys stomp to "I Want Candy" or "Black and White" makes for a really good time. The Workout mode is better in this version as you can string several songs together. I knew most of the songs, although there were a few I didn't recognize. Overall, it's just a good time with levels for everyone to play. Don't take it so seriously! Just move!

For anyone out there that is thinking of picking this up. It does work on Windows 7. The installation is a little tricky but it does work.

To install you must do the following:

1. Open cd in explorer window.

2. Go to Software folder

3. Right click on InstallGB.exe and select properties

4. Go to compatability tab

5. Select run in Windows XP (SP3) and run as admin press ok

6. Go to Intervideo folder

7. Do the same for setup.exe

8. Go back and run InstallGB.exe

9. Plug in device when asked and follow install prompts.

Should work just fine now. I had no problems with my install. Worked on the first try. I never was able to get this thing to work properly on XP or Vista due to lack of PC power. Runs beautifully on my Win 7 system. Quality of video capture is nothing to write home about but it does the trick.

This product does work with windows 7 and vista, but not the 64-bit versions. In a 64-bit environment, the only way to install this is using vmware or another virtual operating system program to install and run a 32 bit system (guest). Install the Gamebridge to the 32-bit guest system and it works at full speed on a relatively new computer.

I purchased this little gadget several months ago. I really enjoy using the Gamebridge. It is both simple and reliable. I am able to record and preserve video gameplay just when I want and end it when I want to. It works like a digital onscreen VCR (through the software) and if you are an avid gamer, you need a product like this. Though the only thing to be aware of, this product does not have drivers and support for the VISTA operating system. Only if you use Windows XP or Windows 2000 can you use the device. I am one of those PC owners who still has not made the switch from XP to VISTA. Yet I am happy with XP. So looks like I will be keeping XP around a lot longer. Haha! This product is non-nonsense in setting up, plus it is small and not a clutter issue. I recommend it. I use my Gamebridge device to connect to my 15.4 inch screen laptop computer via a USB port. My Nintendo Wii is my most used game machine alongside my laptop. Its neat as the Wii is space saving along with the laptop, which makes things very portable. For some of the videos I have, check my profile page at youtube dot com. Timothy2035 is my screen name.

It doesn't work in 64-bit anything because the drivers are 32-bit only. They always have and will be since Adaptec isn't supporting this anymore. I got it to work on 64-bit Windows 7 by installing VMware Player 3.1 (it's free) and then installing Windows XP Pro SP3 as a VM using the USB passthrough feature. Video performance was the same as it was on my older XP laptop...no lag. Win! I still have a LEGAL version of XP, so your mileage may vary depending on if you do or not. Dualbooting is also another option for some. Personally, XP just blue-screens on install on my machine before it even gets through the first file copy part. Maybe it's my i7 mobile, but who cares, the VM works and I don't have to reboot.

I bought this cable to play a PlayStation 2 and GameCube on an HDTV. It's advertised to work with a GameCube and it doesn't even plug into one. Nowhere on the package does it say it will, so what's on the site is false. Plugging into composite ports gave me just as bad a picture and no sound as the original PS2 composite cable does and plugging into component gives me a decent, though black-and-white picture with sound. Do not buy this cable if you're looking to use it for a PS2 or GC!

So I picked up Blood Stone last night and decided to keep it despite the horrible early review of 5/10 by IGN.

Blood Stone is Splinter Cell Conviction meets The Bourne Conspiracy, meets Batman Arkham Asylum. It borrows Convictions Mark & Execute feature which is granted one mark at a time by hand-to-hand combat (which is pretty satisfying by the way), and also has a lot of stealth elements. The running and takedowns reminded me a lot of Bourne, also with high octane chases and so forth. It borrows from Batman by using his Smartphone to see where enemies are on the map, with minor detective work.

I have 3 gripes with the game though:

1. It incredibly short... I beat it last night with a time of 5 hours.

2. The cut-scenes and lip synching are definitely not polished.

3. The sound is really bad; I usually have my receiver at -24 for gaming, but I had to turn it up to -18 for decent sound.

I can see why IGN was so harsh, but on the other hand I can see why Game Informer gave it 7/10. Despite the listed problem, this actually was a very entertaining game, but at the moment it's more a rental than a $60 purchase.

There are however certain areas that have polish... the hand-to-hand combat is perfect in every which way, it's very easy to silently take someone down, and the transition from gun shooting to a takedown is just as seamless as SC or UC. I thought the guns handling was awesome, and the focus mode is really easy to switch to when several guys are shooting at you.

The car chases are actually pretty decent, way better than the crap they put on The Bourne Conspiracy. You have about 4 chases and each one is unique and gives a nice break in-between stealth and gun fights.

So if anyone is on the fence in here, I would say if you love games like Splinter Cell and The Bourne Conspiracy, then you will definitely love Blood Stone. However, I honestly don't believe it's worth $60... I would either rent it, or wait for black Friday or even Christmas. I guarantee the games price will be chopped in half by then.

It's been a long time since I've played a quality Bond game. While Quantum of Solace was pretty good, the shift from first to third person was a necessary one. This game combines a fair amount of stealth with action-oriented gameplay along with vehicle sections. I had a blast playing it, trying to nab all the achievements before the game was over. The only problem I can think of is the game's length, it only took me 4-5 hours to finish on medium difficulty, but I'm sure that number would be much higher if I went back through on the 007 difficulty. Overall, a quality title that's worth any gamer's time to play.

Best Deals for James Bond 007: Blood Stone - Xbox 360

This bond game isn't quite as good as Goldeneye for Wii or the new Goldeneye Reloaded, but this is far superior over the From Russia with Love game with Sean Connery's voice. That game was for 10 year olds. BloodStone isn't super advanced, but very cinematic and fun to play. Great storyline compared to other games. The game is made to be just like a movie!

Honest reviews on James Bond 007: Blood Stone - Xbox 360

Blood Stone is effectively the latest Bond movie, and if the latest Hollywood gossip is any indication, it may well be the last. After stopping a suicide bomber at the G-20 summit, Bond is tasked with capturing a suspected rogue bioweapons expert attempting to sell his knowledge on the black market.

All the main names are present. Craig and Judi Dench play themselves, and even Ben

Cooke, who doubles for Craig in the bond movies was used for character modeling, so Bond moves like Bond and talks like Bond, and Craig is great at voice acting, which any screen actor will tell you, is much harder than it seems. The audio is clear and crisp, with none of the background washout or mumbling that makes half the dialogue in a typical action game so much gibberish normally.

Graphics are tolerable, if somewhat dated. Story items are richly detailed, such as the vehciles from chases, but backgrounds and terrain are mostly faded shapes on the horizon. This problem comes and goes, but the only real downside is that the interiors are sometimes ridiculous and cartoonish in their out of whack scale and placement of cover thats supposed to be "randomly" placed furniture.

Gameplay is very ordinary. There's some stealth aspect, which is bungled for the most part, as theres no real crouch, so you're running towards an enemy rather than sneaking up on them. Run and gun is tolerable, though the over the shoulder aspect makes aiming a chore and difficult to follow at times, and h2h, which is the most stylishly done, but manages to be the least used, as unless you mess up during a stealth sequence, is rarely used outside the stealth takedowns. "Evidence Collection" is the turn of phrase for open your smartphoe and follow the markers to the plot devices, meaning there is no NPC interrogation or actual intelligence involved. Dialogue is all scripted, so the feeling of really watching a movie is so pervasive that you'll look down from time to time and wonder why you're holding that funny V-shaped piece of plastic.

At a total time investment of just under 6 hours, Blood Stone is a movie/game that might as well have "RENT" stenciled on the case. Theres a multiplayer feature, but with a style and setup as bland as plain yogurt, I can't imagine that this will be more than a flash in the pan, after people try it twice then hand it in for the Goldeneye reboot. A tolerable game with lots of flash and the normally and utterly predictable Bond plot. Worth a watch, but a buy? Not hardly.

I'll start off with this. If you loved Splinter Cell Conviction you will like/love this game.

I'm a third person shooter fan, when it comes to shooters. The game-play is similar to Splinter Cell Conviction. The controls to get into and out of cover are a little tricky to manage at first, but I was so stuck on conviction for so long I expected the same and it isn't. There is a focus fire system, similar to the mark and execute system, but the enemies have to be in front of you for it to work, unlike conviction. You can have a max of three and need to do a hand to hand take down to get one.

If your a die hard FPS fanboy,(which seems to be 99% of the xbox crowd) well you wont like it. Its the only reason I can see for the multiple negative reviews here. The driving sequences were amazingly fun, and the driving smooth, as expected from a game maker who makes racing games primarily. The graphics are a bit toned down for multiplayer, but I'm okay with that if it makes for smoother game-play, and it does. The graphics are NOT n64 quality as I've seen other reviewers compare it too, I have no idea where this comparison comes from.

My one major complaint is the complete lack of gadgets/grenades and no crouch. I can't understand how this vital feature of a partial stealth game could be missed. Standing up while going from cover to cover in the face of full gunfire made this game ridiculously difficult at times.

You use your smartphone to scan and it goes fuzzy when moving, similar to the sonar goggles of Conviction. But overll this is only my second game that I'm trying to complete the cheevo's on, the other being SCConviction. The multiplayer lobbies are still active and its possible to get the MP cheevos/trophy's as well.

Well worth the current price of $18.00, once you get over the lack of crouching in this game.

Review of Playstation 3 320GB HW Bundle - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Playstation 3 320GB HW Bundle - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
Customer Ratings: 4.5 stars

If you're looking to buy a Playstation 3 and Modern Warfare 3, then this bundle is a match made in Heaven. The stand-alone 320GB PS3 system retails for three hundred brand new, while MW3 is sixty. So it's like getting a free game, but that's where your benefits end. The console is your basic PS3 (not that that's a bad thing!) and the game is the standard edition. You still get one controller and no HDMI cable. And unlike last years PlayStation 3 160GB Call of Duty: Black Ops Bundle, there is no free map pack voucher. In fact, the only thing custom is the box!

Now in this product's defense, the other bundle PS3 320GB Uncharted 3 Bundle is no different and I have yet to find an aesthetically customized PS3, at least officially from Sony. The Playstation 3 is a great machine nonetheless, and I highly doubt you will be disappointed. Just know what you will be receiving if you spring for this bundle.

I ordered this for my boyfriends birthday, and over nighted it to where I work.

It arrived in great condition, with everything the description says. Great price for game, controller and console.

When he saw it he was way excited.

The only thing that I recommend when you buy it is to make sure you have an HDMI cable for Smart TV's.

Had my Playstation 3 40 GB for more than 4 1/2 year and it still works like a charm this very day, but always hated when I had to delete something just to fit something new in. I decided to get the new slim model, I was gonna get the uncharted model but then the MW3 was announced and I swore I would never buy a COD again but this deal was too good to pass up cause you practically get the game free.

PS3 Slim

A very nice upgrade from my fat model, I like the nice matte finish than the traditional glossy for both the casing and the controller it feel nice and just looks great aswell. I though it would be hard to transfer everything I had on my 40 GB to the new system but it was actually very simple and didn't take that long to get it setup to how I had my 40. The 320 GB it comes with is worry free, don't have to worry about running out of room anytime soon. I could not be happier with my slim model

MW3

A actually nice game so far, only played acouple of hours and can't complain for a game that was pretty much free to me lol. Game is nice, survival is probably my favorite part of the game but the other stuff is not too shabby either.

OVERALL

No regrets with my purchase, a nice upgrade from my fat model and runs smoothly even after long hours of play. Definate a five star, if you looking for a new PS3 and are in the need of a MW3 game then this is the console for you

The case was fairly easy to assemble once I finally figured out how to get the old case apart. There was no instructions with my case which annoyed me as I was slightly afraid to rip apart an 200 dollar investment. Once i had it apart i removed all the screws off of the metal casing which was a big mistake. You only need to remove the 5 long screws which are mostly on the corners of the case. I suggest looking up the instructions on google and before you take your dvd drive apart make sure its either Samsung or Hitachi. Mine was Phillips I believe and the dvd drive see-through top would not work so I stole parts off another drive which then really messed up my system and I had to return the drive to normal.

Pros: Black, very cool lighting, a lot lighter then original, and seems to stay cooler.(but i also bought led higher performance fans as you can find on this page)

Cons: I could not use the dvd top, make xbox feel flimsy(although i like the fact its lighter), light around power button is not focused into an ring just goes every direction(make it look dull), Instructions not included

Over all this is a very good product and very cool. I just wish they had instructions. One tool is a long piece of metal that is very convenient but without instructions you have no idea its to release clips on the back and sides of the console.

My business deals with Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo Wii repairs and Modifications. So I order a lot of stuff, I had a customer inquire about making his case glow, and have lights in it. So I found this product and ordered it, it was shipped very poorly first off, then when I was setting it up, the plastic was not formed correctly or warped somehow so you had to force some of the corners to get it connect. Then the side where the hard drive goes doesn't completely snap together so the hard drive will fall out.

Horrible product I would not even recommend this to a competitor of mine. And the price of it to boot?? Is a joke

I just purchased this two days ago. Props to Amazon as I am a very happy Prime customer! The quality is just ok. Much thinner plastic than the stock case (probably because of it being transparent). Putting it together was a pain and very frustrating. Instructions are not included; there are instructions on the manufacturers web site but they are almost useless. My big complaint is that it doesnt line up on the back so it doesnt close completely. It does close, but not 100%, maybe 98%. No one would notice but it irritates me (this is mainly the reason for 3 stars). The LED lights are great! I am very happy about that! the power button plastic is very thin and I almost broke it during install. Other than that, its ok. Just some minor issues thats all. It does look very cool. I would buy it again and recommend it to friends, just be prepared for an irritating install and minor fit issues. If you can handle that, than do buy it because the finished product does look awesome at night when playing, probably cool enough to manage through the small issues. Plus, at the current price id say its worth a go.

Just a quick install tip, line up the led light strip on the dvd drive side before you actially stick it on. i installed the lights to close to the back and had to move them foreward as i couldnt get the dvd drive back in.

i would also recommend the lighted fans for the rear. the extra blue lighting makes a big difference.

most of all...be patient when installing and dont force it to fit :)

Honest reviews on Xbox 360 CLEAR GHOST CASE - SMOKE CASE/HDMI/BLUE LIGHTS

Where to start. Upon opening the packaging, I was very disappointed to see that the top and bottom covers were scratched by the very packaging they put in the box to protect it. These things are packed tightly in the box and wrapped in a foam sleeve. The foam sleeve leaves rub marks all over the case which take alot of polishing to get out. Simply putting a plastic protective film over these before putting them in the foam bag would have prevented all this from happening. As it was, i spent 30 minutes with my drill and headlight cleaning kit removing the scratches from this thing.

This one is VERY important and I learned it the hard way. CHECK THE FOAM TAPE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE LED'S!! The power wires to the LED boards are soldered to the BOTTOM of the board and are bare and open. On mine, on one of the boards, the foam tape did not come out far enough to cover these wires and I didn't catch it. As a result, the solder joints on the wires shorted against the metal housing of the Xbox. When I powered this thing on to check it before putting the covers on, It shot a two inch flame out the back of the DVD drive and literaly burned one of the wires on the dvd power connector in half. I had to cut their cable off and splice it in to my old dvd power cable. I then removed ALL of the preinstalled foam tape, coated the back of the PCB's with a thin layer of liquid tape and attacked them using 3M mounting tape leaving a 1/4" overlap on each end of the PCB. Amazingly enough, the Benq DVD drive must be one tough beast, as it still works.

That leads me to the clear Cover for the Benq drive. Throw it in the garbage. Period. Out of the box, snapped on, lined up, looked good. Got my magnet out of the top cover put it in, fired up Xbox, and wallah.....Disc won't spin. Pull up slightly on center and disc spins. The base of the clear cover is too thick and pinches disc against it. After 45 minutes of carefully sanding the bottom of it and rechecking, I get it to spin noise free and like it should. PROFIT......not. I eject the disc put it in again, very slight rubbing sound, but disc still spins free. One last sanding and all appears well. PROFIT......not. I put the top cover on, a little flimsy, but it looks good and fits sorta ok. Snap the bottom cover on the front, move to the back and try to snap it together.....for 10 minutes....curse.....5 more minutes.....finally get all the fasteners to latch. Finish it all up pop the hard drive in, can't wait to see how it looks! Power it up, its looks good, eject the DVD to make sure it all clears, yep. Everything looks good. Pop in Black Ops 2,..............you guessed it.... disc won't spin. Lightly tap the top of the case and disc turns half a turn and stops. Tap a few more times and disc spins, but sounds like I am running it through a shredder instead of playing it. Shut it all down, try to take case apart to remove clear cover. If you thought closing it was tough, wait till you try opening it! Be VERY careful with the side the power connector is on. I now have a nice tear in mine right there. I had to pull so hard to get the tabs to release on the opposite side, the plastic is so flimsy, I literally ripped it from the bottom of the snap above the power connector, to just below the power connector, about an 1 1/4 tear.

For the price charged for this case, it should be MUCH better quality than it is. At $25 its a steal, at the $45 it is now, its stealing from you.

Came with out the round piece that clips into the clear cover for the dvd drive, and due to the fact it didn't have instructions either, I wasted my dvd case by popping out the spinner, so now my dvd drive is useless. Thanks... Oh and the case fits so tight that the back pins are barley holding together. Also there customer service is sketchy, it's been half a month and still haven't received the missing part and all I get are excuses or no replies. DON'T BUY THIS HORRIBLE PRODUCT.

This is a must have with your 360 and a controller. And in black to match your Elite controllers.

You can plug it in via USB to your Xbox 360 and charge the included battery pack while you play your game.

You can also remove your battery pack, and plug the cable directly to your 360 for wired gaming (so your controller won't shut off while you are in the middle of that hired driver Forza race.

This charges via any USB port on your 360, your computer, your cable box, or your dog (if he has included USB hub).

I recommend buying one of these, then buying the Quick Charge Kit. Then you'll have 2 battery packs, the quick charge dock, and a USB charge cable.

I enjoy the ease of use, it is convenient to just plug it in to recharge the batteries.

Unfortunately two out of three of my battery packs died within 6 months of purchase, which means they are only usable while plugged in. As such, I have returned to using rechargeable Energizer batteries, which are cheaper and more reliable (as long as you keep a few extra pairs on hand in case you run out of juice mid-game).

If you're a gambler, you might as well pick up at least one Play & Charge kit for the sake of convenience, but keep in mind that it costs as much as four AA rechargeable batteries and a charger.

Best Deals for Xbox 360 Black Play and Charge Kit

Not sure if this is a common occurrence but mine broke within 6 months of use. I can still play with the controller while plugged in but it no longer charges the battery.

Honest reviews on Xbox 360 Black Play and Charge Kit

I bought my play and charge kit when I first bought the system. It worked wonderfully the first few times. You plug it in when you are playing and it will slowly charge the battery. However, after not playing for awhile, when I went to charge up the battery it wouldn't charge anymore. The controller was definitely connected to the 360 as I could play the games while connected.

However, the battery light indicator on the controller would glow red, to indicate it was charging, for about five minutes. Then it would turn green to signify that it charged the battery completely. I thought that perhaps it was charging, despite the light not being red, but that was not so.

I kept it plugged to the 360 while playing for a couple of hours, and then tried playing wirelessly. 5 minutes later, the controller died.

Ultimately, I think it is more of a problem with the batteries than the cord itself. I bought an extra battery to go with my white controller and it suffered the same problems.

I seem to be one of the few that have had this problem, and they are not too expensive, but be warned that this problem does occur.

I have been using these for about a week. I originally just needed a mic since my son broke mine. I purchased the Gears of War throat mic, and that thing is a pile, not even sure how it made it to market with the below sub-par sound quality. So I retuned it and after mulling over the options I decided on these. They are a bit pricey, but I paid $200 for the Tuetlr Beach x41 and those were worth the purchase a couple years ago. My main complaints with the x41s is that they don't go loud enough for movies, and they do burn through batteries, and you get the occasional interference noises from the wireless. That is the main reason I went with these. They are corded so you don't need batteries, and they go louder than I need them too.

The only faults I see with them are these, and they are more of a personal issue than anything else. First is it is corded, cordless is really nice for obvoise reasons. The main cord on these is quite beefy, so it is a bit heavy to be hanging down in you lap. Also the mic/mute control is also beefy. And you also have a small cord plugged into the controller which can be removed if you are not gaming. The controller on the cord is nice as it has a mute, and separate game and chat volume so you can dial them both in. But once I am playing and I am zoned in I don't notice the cords at all, and it is a welcome trad off to not have to use batteries.

The sound on these is really good also, they are a bit bass heavy which is nice when gaming, especially in Gears. I had the the x41s were a little light in the bass. Would be better if it had a dial to adjust to your liking. Hearing "Boom" from the Boomer really sets the tone and grabs you in. I can't say if the 7.1 is better than 5.1, but the surround is better on these than on my x41s. You

can really track the movement of characters in the game. Watching some movies the bass is a bit much, but I would prefer to

much than to little. It is not over whelming, but it is noticeable.

I have put many hours on these this week and only had two times when there was sound issues. One match I had terrible echoes and heard everything I said repeated, which does happen with every other mike I have used. And in one game the bass got extremely overpowered and was distorting like crazy. Was fine in the game till that level, and was fine the next time I turned them on, so I assume it was a fluke.

Comfort on these is pretty good, but after a couple of hours they do start to get uncomfortable. The cups could have been a little wider in my opinion. Not so noticeable when gaming, but movies watching when you are not so focused I did notice it more.

I would totally give them a try, they are the best all around set in my opinion. If they were wireless I would give them a 5 no problem

I got these to replace the Turtlebeach x4's that I had. They finally gave out so i figured that these would be a great replacement. I got these a few days before Gears of War 3 was released. They have worked great. I hear everything just like I did with the x4's. The only thing that i don't really like is that they are wired. I'm not a big fan of that. I get tangled in the wire and so does my child which is very annoying. I worry that one of these times its going to pull my xbox and everything else down. They sound good, and i can hear all my buddies well. About a week ago the chat cable gave out on me. I could not hear anyone, and they could not hear me. I can still hear the game sounds, just not chat. When I went to order a new cable from Mad Catz they are sold out in the U.S. I ended up going to the local electronics store and getting a cable that works but it cost me $20. Not what I wanted to do after spending almost $200 for the headset in the first place.

Best Deals for Mad Catz Gears of War 3 Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound Headset for Xbox

I purchased this headset a few months ago and have never looked back. It was my first gaming headset and I love it. The sound quality is superb and the fit is just right. Voice quality out and in is great.

My only complaint was the cord that runs from the controller to the headset cord (this allows for voice communication in games) went bad after less than a month. I wrote to Mad Catz but it took them over a month to respond, so I ended up getting a replacement through Amazon (which was painless and easy). Mad Catz finally responded saying they would ship me another cord, but that the specific cord I need is on back order. Other than that, this is a sturdy great headset. If you have the cash to splash, I recommend it highly.

EDIT: Originally I said these were not adjustable to bigger heads, but I was wrong as I found out this weekend. It actually will adjust, they are just really tight initially.
