I bought 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand the day it was released. And I must say that it was a solid purchase.
From the moment I opened the package and slipped the disc into my Xbox 360, I was drawn into the action. Simply put, I just could not stop playing, not even for dinner.
The game does have a built in map, via an on screen pointer system that is very efficient and trustworthy. In other words, I found it very hard to get lost in this game.
The only thing I did not like about this game is the almost excessive use of language. I would have preferred if THQ had included a feature where I could censor the langauage, but since this was not an option, I was forced to play the game with my head phones on whenever my 7-year old was around.
But with great graphics, sound effects, and new hard hitting tracks from 50 Cent and his G Unit, as well as straight on solid controls, this game has been much improved over it's "Bulletproof" predecessor.
All-in-all, this game was a MUST buy, and a solid addition to my Xbox 360 collection.

Look, the story is bogus bs and the action is the over the top and not believable at all. But......um.....who cares! This game rocks because its so much fun to play. Great soundtrack, buku guns, and exploding terrorists flying each and every way. What more could my tiny violent heart want. Oh, did I metion the fact ur able to shell out pre-recorded 50 cent spoken insults at will by clicking one the joysticks. The perfect 3rd person shooter to take a break from all the melo-dramatic way too serious games out there today.Best Deals for 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand
If you've played the Club before then you will see the similarity in this game. It's like the Club with a sequel featuring 50 Cent in an actual adventure/story mode. The gameplay and some of the task/missions are just like the Club. From similar killing combos to finding the hidden bullseye targets during the levels. The Graphics are actually pretty sweet if you play it in HD. There's tons of cussing during gameplay and during cinemas. Wouldn't be 50 if it wasn't. Not a serious storyline but a decent one if it were a low budget "B" movie. I don't know if 50 had any part to do with the story or not, but if he did it seems like to me maybe he picked up some of the idea from the movie Home of The Brave that he starred in. But anyway the controls are pretty good. You may notice a few Gears of War moves used in the game (recovering your partner, vehicle stage) Army of Two weapon upgrade. (What, No pimped out weapons?) and a few up close battles from the bourne conspiracy game. The up close fights were not as advanced as the bourne conspiracy but similar. Overall it's a good action game to pick up for anyone who has mastered Gears of War or The Club and has a itchy finger to pull a trigger. This would be the game to play until a better 3rd person shooter comes out. Even better if you can find it on sale cheaper than $50. A good 3rd person action shooter worth looking into.Honest reviews on 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand
This is one of those games that don't get the props that it should, all due to the protagonist and the some what ridiculous premise of the story. But putting aside the main character and the fact that he's rapping in some cartel infested town in the middle of who knows where, the game actually delivers an action pack that is hard not to like. You follow the steps of 50 cent after money is owed to him, at your side, you can chose to have a side kick, which unlike many games out there, does not act like dumbed AI that gets in your cross hairs. The game's mechanics and playability are well balanced and I can honestly say I didn't get frustrated once throught out the campaing. You will encounter small challenges that are easy to acomplish, I won't spoil the game for you, so I'll move onto other aspects of the game.
Sound wise, the game is decent, the soundtrack playing on the background, as you would guess, is 50 Cent material, which is pretty good, and I'm not that big on rap. You will hear your sidekick say "fitty, over here!" time and time again, but, it wasn't irritating at all, it was actually helpful when you don't know where to go next, which wasn't the case very often. If you have a surround system, lower the sound effects and voice, so you can hear the rap music a bit louder; by default, the music is played at a subtle level, it doens't interfere with the game's other sound effects. But, I did find myself having the music louder, because I really enjoyed shooting fools to rap tunes.
Graphics are a mixed bag, 50 cent is ugly by default, so not much they could do there; backgrounds were a bit washed out and characters as well, but overall, the game looks surprisingly good.
Controls are perfect, you've got your standard aim down the sights and shoot, covering, blind shooting and CQC.
In conclusion, this is one of those shooters that are easy to pick up and enjoy for a quick gaming session; it is mindless fun (in a good way). If you still have doubts, rent it first, but I know you'll like it as much as I do and will end up buying it, like I did. Hope this helps

i Liked Bulletproof for xbox...this game is kind of Exactly the same. the shooting is Arcade (think The Club/Gears of War) but its just FUN to shoot through the levels with a partner Online in CO-OP mode...which does add to the games Replay and Overall Value. the music fits the action perfectly. if your a Fan of 50 cents music, youll love it. i think the MUSIC tied into the experience of the game is what makes it slightly better than Some arcade shooting games out there. one thing i DIDNT like about the game is the hand to hand fighting sequences...which are Very Slow...this is VERY noticeable when playing CO-OP and watching your partner engage in the Slowest fist fight youv ever seen take place in your life. but like i said, thats the Only issue i found with it. overall, this is a Fun, Casual shooting game you can just pick up and play. if your into Rap Music and Arcade Shooting Games, you should definitely Try this game out. IMO, its up there with Gears of War, Call Of Duty and the like...and slightly more Fun than those titles as well.iLL .
