Bought this game for my seven yr old son was quite skeptical about buying anything with Spongebob in the title after the PS2 games I have bought. This game is both demo derby and racing, up to four players, with different combinations of derby/racing and is relatively challenging for even myself. Overall very very fun.Spongebob Boating Bash

I purchased this game on sale because my family are Spongebob fans. I have a three year old that loves playing Wii games, and I thought this would be a good family game for us to play. This is a fun game, at least for awhile. I first sat down to play this and unlock some boats and characters and within two hours had the entire game beat/unlocked. This isn't overly difficult but there seems to be enough to keep you entertained for awhile. Once I got a lot of the characters, boats and courses unlocked, we were able to play the group mode as a family and have fun. Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy as well as the Invisible Boat Mobile are available for use within the game. You can also unlock Mr. Krabs and Plankton.

There are variations on the games you can play but ultimately it comes down to smashing other boats. It can be a little tricky to go back and collect the parts after you smash but that's part of the game. My daughter got a little bored with this after 20 minutes, and I would say it didn't take me too much longer. Overall it's a fun, not very deep game. I think as long as you don't pay more than $30 for it, it's worth having for the family if you are Spongebob fans. I will give them credit for not trying to make this like so many other "racing" games...it's unique and different.

Bought this game for my 5 yr old. Was fun at first, but the game is fairly basic in design. I would highly recommend Mario Kart or Sonic All-Star Racing as an alternative if you don't already have them.

Honest reviews on Spongebob Boating Bash - Nintendo Wii

My son and I love SpongeBob so we were really disappointed after playing this game. We actually have a plug and play SpongeBob racing game that is quite fun, but this fell way short. I would not recommend this. Really poor game play and extremely difficult controls, especially for children.

If you liked any of the Splinter Cells, you will like this game. If you like action games, you will probably like this game.

[Good]

Level Design: Much better than the old Splinter Cells. There's a lot more choice as to how you want to complete the missions. You can either take everyone on, avoid everyone, or take them out when they're not looking. In fire fights there's good emphasis on flanking. Even the final boss fight was really awesome. It just looks great and plays great.

Replayabilty: Since you have a lot of choices for completing the mission, the game has challenges for specific play styles as well as different sets of weapons and gadgets. The changes in difficulty and the semi-randomness of how enemies are placed and how they behave is nice as well.

Multiplayer: Co-op missions are awesome assuming you can find someone to join you.

Story: This is the best Splinter Cell story so far.

Weaker: Even with good armor, Sam can't take too many shots. This is good.

Performance: I only have a mid-range PC with a mid-range video card, but even with all the settings maxed out, the game still ran pretty smoothly.

[Bad]

Uplay: I really don't see any value with this. It's just another separate login that doesn't really offer anything, aside from locking up parts of my game. This should be removed. Ubisoft I'm never going to buy games from either your online store or EA's store. Just stop this and stop annoying me with Uplay.

Bugs: A lot of people are reporting bugs i.e. Game won't start or multiplayer doesn't work. My guess is the source of these bugs is Uplay. It needs to be removed.

Steam Family Share: Because of the extra DRM from Uplay, this game doesn't support Steam's Family Share feature.

Multiplayer: Maybe this will change with time, but there's no one online for PC. This is probably due to Uplay. See a pattern? I like single player better anyways so I can quit playing anytime.

Story: Like all Splinter Cell games, the story isn't very good. This time however, it's not as ridiculous and horrible as the older Splinter Cells. It's just super vague about everything. There is still some really unrealistic and ridiculous stuff in the game, but you don't play Splinter Cell games for the story. On the bright side, the story is better and makes more sense than anything from Metal Gear. Hint: to make the story better, Sam Fisher and his organization can't be the good guys all the time. Those stories are for children and yet this game is for adults. A lot of adults enjoyed the Sopranos and Breaking Bad. Why can't this type of maturity in storylines cross over to video games? One more thing. In the field during an operation, professionals use call signs instead of their real names. This franchise sorely needs a story reboot with either better script writers and advisors and / or less constraints given by Ubisoft execs for the story. Maybe Ubisoft should hire a former spook to consult?

Choice: The game does give players some choices, but I don't feel that they actually affected anything. It would have been nice if they actually changed the game or even the ending.

FPS view: I didn't like the small solo missions with FPS view. Splinter Cell to me is meant to be played in 3rd person view.

Not the best deal: Paying ten bucks more, gets you weapons you probably won't use, much better suits, and two new missions. The two new missions are nice but I didn't care much for the weapons. As for the suit, you may like if you want the game to be easier. I'd just get the normal edition and wait for the DLC to get cheaper. I just bought them all because I wanted to have them right now.

[Misc]

Not a full reboot: When you do something drastic as changing Sam's voice to someone younger sounding, you really need to change the story. A 30 year old with a college aged daughter doesnt make too much sense.

I am really thankful that Ubisoft removed their always on DRM, but they need to get rid of UPlay.

If you don't like Steam, you probably won't like this download.

It's been awhile since I last went to bed at 3 AM because of a game. This game takes some getting used to and figuring out, but once you learn the ropes, leave all hope. I have only been through several main missions and a few side missions (those are difficult) but it is already safe to say Awesome!!! Have some patience before you master the controls and user interface, and you won't regret it...

OK, after initial infatuation I have to take one star off and here's why:

1. First, the game is rather short. It has 13 main missions (two more than Conviction) and 10 side missions (solo play, 4 more than Conviction), and all of the missions are short. I feel like I make a couple of moves and I'm done. That is not much given that this is 20 GB installation. It's true, it has many more coop and multiplayer missions and if you play those as well, you may find the length of the game satisfying, but the main story ends quickly.

2. There are considerable parts of mission maps where you just pass through, they include no hostiles, they can't be used for any action, and you cannot return there.

3. There are bunch of weapons and equipment to buy, but you only need a few of them, and money making makes no sense after you get all the plane upgrades and equipment you need (this kind of undermines replayability). Once you get a good sniper rifle and full equipment, the game gets pretty easy on normal difficulty. I will try the 'perfectionist' for replay and see if it makes a difference.

4. Overall, the story was not that interesting and it is forced a bit, it moves too quickly, and you miss most of it. They have to make the threat bigger and bigger each time.

I must say, I kind of liked the Conviction better

Best Deals for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist Deluxe Edition

Splinter Cell: Blacklist is the latest installment in the beloved series. With Splinter Cell Conviction, Ubisoft decided to make the game less about stealth and more about brute force. Sure, there was the option at times of using stealth but I never felt the need to use it. With Blacklist however, stealth plays a much bigger role. Gone are the days when it was ok to charge headlong into a room emptying clip after clip on enemies. While I enjoyed Conviction, Blacklist takes all the good parts of Conviction and adds so much more to it.

For a game bearing Tom Clancy's name, the plot line is exactly what you would expect. Terrorists are threatening to destroy something and an elite group of soldiers have been given carte blanch to stop them. In this case, terrorists are threatening to destroy the United States by systematically taking out high value targets, or what they call the Blacklist -things like energy, food; basically the backbones of the country. Sam Fisher of the elite 4th Echelon is tasked by the President to do anything necessary to stop the attacks. While the plot isn't spectacular, it serves it purposes to facilitate the missions and lead you towards the final encounter.

From the first mission it's evident that there is an enhanced fluidity to movement. It's easy to slip into the shadows, mantle over cover, climb up a pipe and drop down onto an unsuspecting enemy. There is a certain satisfaction in sitting in one spot for several minutes studying enemy movements to really plan out a route that will either let you slip by completely undetected, or to divide and conquer without raising any alarms. Each mission allows you to complete it any number of ways; some force you to remain undetected while others encourage it by sending in swarms of reinforcements. It proves beneficial to not start large scale gun battles.

One complaint I had with Splinter Cell Conviction was, while stealth was a game mechanic, there was very little true need to use it. That has completely changed with Blacklist. Sam Fisher can only take limited damage and when multiple enemies are attacking it can end very quickly. Planning before the mission is just as important. Deciding what gadgets and gear to equip before you put boots on the ground is imperative to making the mission go as smoothly as possible. There is a wide array of gadgets you can purchase with money earned during the mission such as smoke bombs, EMP grenades, sticky cameras, sleep gas grenades, etc. Depending on your play style, there is certain to be gear you will quickly fall in love with.

Graphically the game looks good. On Xbox there is an optional HD Texture pack that can be installed from disc 2. It's approximately 3 GBs of data; honestly if you have the space just download it for the full effect of the game. Lighting and shadows are well done. The lights on Sam's suit flare when you are under cover of darkness. They provide a nice indicator so you are not left guessing if you are in the shadows or not. Likewise, the sound track and effects are pretty good as well. They won't win any awards here, but they don't detract from the game either, but with one exception. I have a surround sound headset which is perfect for a stealth game like this. However, on more than one occasion the enemies footsteps did not mesh with where the enemy was on screen. This created some frustrating moments when I needed to go off enemy positions purely based on sound.

On top of the single player campaign there are two multiplayer offering as well. The first is the fan favorite Spies vs Mercs mode. Spies are elite, agile stealth-based characters who need to hack certain terminals, all done in third-person perspective. The Mercs and heavily armed, first-person based characters whose job is to stops the Spies from hacking or to kill the spy responsible for the hack before it completes. Playing as the Merc, there is always a sense of tension as you search for the spies, knowing at any moment you may be taken down by a lithe assailant. Conversely, as a Spy you know if you are caught in the open the fight will end quickly. There are a couple different modes within the Spies vs Mercs umbrella. Classic 2 vs 2, 4 vs 4, and then Uplink where there is a combination of Spies and Mercs on the same team. All three are high tension modes, but when you succeed luring an enemy into a kill spot and execute it to perfection, there are not many video game moments that can live up to it.

The other multiplayer mode is 14 Co-op based missions. These appear as side missions during the campaign, and all but 4 can technically be done solo. Yet, playing through these missions with a partner adds an entirely new level of strategy, planning, and tension. Executing double kills, having a partner distract a guard so the other can sneak up behind them and eliminate them is so rewarding. I have never hid the fact that I love co-op games, missions, or stories. While Conviction had a Co-op mode, it was a self-contained story and felt more like an add-on. The co-op in Blacklist feels and plays so well. Enemies rarely do the same thing no matter how many times you play a mission, so repeating the missions with different play styles, or partners, still offers an engaging experience.

I haven't enjoyed a Splinter Cell game this much since Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Blacklist went back to the roots of what made it an outstanding game and added more variety and appealing gameplay. I have always been a fan of stealth-based games, a few games claim to be stealth-based but quickly become run and gun games where the only stealth is hiding when you are waiting for your health to regenerate. Blacklist is not one of those games. It's a game that forces you to plan ahead, and rewards you for good choices, and punishes you for rash decisions.

Pros

Stealth, that actually works and is beneficial

Amazing Co-op and MP modes

Fluid movement

Cons

At times audio is out of sync with events on screen, most notable enemy footsteps

At times the control scheme gets in the way of the game

Splinter Cell Blacklist is the stealth game that Conviction promised it would be. With solid gameplay, and fantastic level design, it delivers many memorable moments while not sacrificing its true vision. Allowing the player to play anyway they want through almost each mission, and still feel as though it was the way the developers intended it, is a testament to how much Ubisoft wanted to get this right. Blacklist is a deeply rewarding game for those who take their time, plan, and execute a strategy. If you are looking for a fast paced, run and gun shooter you can play like that. If you are looking for a game where you can sneak past virtually every enemy leaving nothing but a shadow behind, you can play like that. If you want something in between those you, you can do that as well. While Conviction was a decent game, Blacklist excels as a stealth -based game with loads of replayability. This is one game I will be trying to convince as many friends as I can to pick up. This one is simply too good to ignore.

Honest reviews on Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist Deluxe Edition

Will have additional updates in the future. Having a great time with my first night playing the game. Only played for about 90 minutes total. I was quite angry when the activation code did not work, but it started working after a few hours. I don't see any deniable ops which was the most enjoyable part of Splinter Cell Conviction, but I don't know everything about this game yet so there may be other features that are just as cool (or maybe better). Using XBOX 360 controller on my PC and it all controls seem to work fine, but still getting the hang of the controls. Experience? I have played every Splinter Cell game, it is the only game I like.

Off the bat, I took away 2 stars for being forced to use Uplay. It doesn't add any value. I'm forced to create another user account for another service that I don't want.

The game is pretty. There is great potential there. The environments and the character models are quite polished. My PC allows me to run the game on the "Ultra" setting without hearing the fans kick in. It's great to be able to see a game how the developers meant for it to be seen. Unfortunately, the game is full of glitches that make the game unplayable. Whenever I kill an enemy, the body flies around the environment, shattering windows, alerting other enemies , etc. Tech support, if it were only a graphics glitch then it should not affect the environment or the AIs in it. It completely prevents me from being stealthy so I get gunned down quickly, or have a random dog fly through a wall and chew my arm until I die. Why are the dogs so deadly in this game?

Also, why do I have to pay to upgrade my gear? It doesn't make any sense. The government wants me to track down and stop the terrorists. Why would the government not give me the tools to perform that duty for free? Do you want equipment that's going to keep you alive? Well, you have to buy it. You buy them with in-game currency that you receive for completing missions, which doesn't make sense either. I'm guessing Ubisoft intended to sell in-game items and upgrades for real money, but I didn't explore the upgrade system deep enough to see if it was a "pay to win" model.

If I hadn't received this game free with my GTX 760, I would ask for a refund. It's not worth the aggravation.

I purchased this game and received the competing game Rugby Challenge 2011 (RC 2011) for my birthday on the same day, so I am able to have a go at comparing Rugby World Cup 2011 (RWC 2011 the game being reviewed here) to the said RC 2011.

RC 2011 (the other game), has more polished graphics, heaps of competition, club teams and customisation options. However, I believe that this game (RWC 2011) has smoother open play, better flow in the passing mechanism, better defending and more natural use of attacks or breaks over the advantage line. The line outs, rucks and scrums have more options in the other game. I have yet to see a driving maul in this game (I'd played both games for quite a few hours each, at the time of writing this review). RWC 2011 is limited to the 20 teams that qualified for the 2011 tournament.

Unfortunately, the licensing for player and team likenesses do not extend to the New Zealand or Australian teams, as these were snapped up by RC 2011). However, most of the other teams teams have all the authentic player names and you can edit any of the player names and statistics to your hearts content, but not their physical appearance.

This game doesn't have the same depth as RC 2011, but it does capture the Rugby World Cup atmosphere quite well (offical logo, crowd noises etc). You can either select the official draw for the World Cup, or randomly generate a new draw for more variation and replay value. You can also play one-off test matches and even go on northern or southern hemisphere tours.

The World Cup stadiums are presented in good style here, but are named by location, rather than actual stadium names

(offical names were snapped up by RC 2011). The game's graphics show a bit more polish than Rugby 08 which was released a few years ago. If you played Rugby 05, 06 or 08, then you'll find that the gameplay and control system are not too dissimilar to those games.

This review is based on my single player experience on the XBOX 360 (I haven't checked out multiplayer options at the time of writing this review).

UPDATE: There is the occasional driving maul in this game.

There wasn't too much to this game you can only do the Full Tournament (real Schedule or random schedule) Warm up tour, International Tests (exhibition) and Place Kick Shoot out. but all in all it's an ok experiance

Pros

The Tournament mode is great take a team from Pool Play and take them to the Fianls for the Web Ellis Cup. (i Played as Japan beat the Springboks 27-17 in the final to win the Web Ellis Cup)

-10 REAL Teams USA Eagles, Ireland, South Africa Springboks, Argentina Pumas, France, Scottland, Wales, Italy, Canada, and England Roses

the stratagies (ie Dummy and screen) are well played out

Cons

-Tournament mode is short and after you win the Web Ellis Cup there is literaly nothing left to accomplish.

The Tournament this year is in New Zealand yet no All Blacks team or the rival Wallabies.

No National Anthems/Team anthems if i play as Ireland i want to hear Irelands Call before i play some rugby

-Since the All Blacks aren't in the game there is no Haka War Dance before a New Zealand game (yes NZ does have a team but genaric)

-Stratigies could have been thought out better and deliverd better

all and all its ok but I recommend Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge(which i preorederd)

Honest reviews on Rugby World Cup 2011 - Xbox 360

Finally a rugby title for Xbox 360. Game play is pretty good and feels like the flow of an actual rugby game. The breakdown is probably the part that is the least realistic. Generally, the better team maintains possession unless the opposition gets too agressive and gets called for a penalty.

Graphics are OK, seem a little rushed like they were scrambling to get this out in time for the actual world cup in September 2011. They are pretty weak when compared to something like Madden, but still OK. Just a little dated at times with backgrounds, etc. Not sure if it is a rights issue, but most (all?) of the players look nothing like their real-life counterparts (Paul O'Connell has brown hair for example). All in all, however, it is fun to play and, if you are a rugby fan, well worth getting.

Hoping that there will be a committed series of rugby games instead of one every few years.

Xbox Controller S

Okay, I was just joking -the original Xbox controller didn't weigh as much as an 800 pound bear. But seriously: IT WAS HUGE. Not for me, mind you, but for almost everyone else I knew, the first Xbox controller was at least a few sizes too large. It hindered the way they, amoung thousands of others, played. If someone's playing badly because of the controller then something is wrong.

Thankfully Microsoft noticed this and created a smaller, lighter, more easily handled controller for those of us who needed it. The Controller S, as it is called has a more even button layout and the A, B, X and Y buttons are not slanted, but have the traditional shape of raised domes. The black and white buttons were moved to below the A, B, X and Y buttons so as to be made easier to reach. However, I personally had more problem pressing these buttons on this model than on the other one. Anywho, the Start and Select/Back buttons were relocated to the left side of the left analog stick. These buttons probably should have stayed where they were or moved to a more convenient spot, like above the Xbox logo.

In any case, this is a massive improvement for the Xbox controller. I suggest that you buy at least two of these controllers, (even if you like the other one better), just in case your friends, etc. want to use them [which they will].

Some people think the problems with the American Xbox controller have been overly exaggerated. But the truth is, if there weren't major problems with the controller, Microsoft wouldn't have taken the time and resources to bring the Japanese controller to the States. So now, the Xbox Controller S has made it to the States. Does it have what it takes to be a vast improvement over its American counterpart? Sadly, no. While it does improve upon some areas of the original controller, it falls incredibly short in others.

First, the improvements. The size of the controller has been reduced, which is good news for all those people who complained about the American controller's large size. The triggers feel a lot more comfortable and responsive, and the D-pad actually feels better and more usable. But the biggest improvement has to be the face buttons. On the original controller, the colored face buttons were in an awkward, bunched-together set up that made it difficult to find the right button without looking right at the controller. With the Xbox Controller S, the set up is more natural, making it easier to find the right button. The buttons are also more much flatter, which means gamers no longer have to press horrible oval-shaped buttons.

But then there are the flaws. The first is the Xbox logo. Why Microsoft puts that enormous logo there is beyond me. Do they really think we'll forget which gaming system we're playing and need to remind us with a big, round logo that actually makes the Xbox Controller S look even uglier than the first controller? Because of the placement of the logo, the Start and Select buttons were moves to under the first analog stick, which makes it somewhat awkward for most people to press them with their left hand. But the biggest flaw is undoubtedly the black and white buttons. In the American controller, they were placed above the face buttons; they took some getting used to, but were accessible. With the Xbox Controller S, they are placed below the face buttons in a sloppy configuration, and just trying to press these buttons is a pain because they are set deeper in the controller than the face buttons.

With this said, which controller is better? American or Japanese? Truth be told, neither is better than the other. Actually, each controller has its advantages over the other in certain games. For example, the D-pad on the Controller S makes "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3" and "Dead or Alive 3" much easier to play, but the analog sticks on the American controller work a lot better on "Halo" and "Project Gotham Racing". If only Microsoft would take these controllers' strengths and place them in a hybrid controller, then they would have the ultimate controller.

Make no mistake, the Controller S isn't terrible; however, it's also not the saving grace controller that everyone wants it to be. It has its strengths and weaknesses, just like the American controller, and it'll hopefully point Microsoft in the right direction for a third and perfect controller for the Xbox.

Thank you Microsoft! You see? Companies can listen! XBox has been slowly improving since launch. Its games are getting much better, and the controllers have as well. I'm actually beginning to enjoy this machine. While the button placement is not as convenient as the PS 2 Dual Shock, or as comfortable as the GameCube controller, this controller is much less awkward than the original XBox controller. It could still be better, the black and white buttons are not in a place that make them easy to get to, but the other buttons are not as close together, and the button shape make them easier to know what button you're hitting, thus avoiding hitting the wrong button by accident, which happens to me a lot of the regular controller.

Aside from the placement of the black and white buttons one more complaint I have, I can get new Nintendo made GameCube controllers for much less than the Microsoft controllers are going for. If Microsoft could lower the price on these I'd buy three more.

Honest reviews on Xbox Controller S

When I got my Xbox a month or so ago, one of the downfalls of the system was the controller. I am sure many of you agree with me, but in many ways it suffered the flaws of being too big, heavy, and cumbersome. Not only was it tiring on the wrists, but the D-Pad was oddly shaped causing awkwardness in games that used it.

Knowing that Microsoft offered another type of controller (Controller S), I immediatly headed down to the store to grab one as a replacement for the pack in. Let me tell you... it was one of the smartest decisions I could have made with my new system.

With the old clunky original controller out of the way, I tested out the Controller S with both NFL 2K2 and Morrowind. Relaxing. Easier to use. Perfect is all I can say in a nutshell. Ideal for handsizes big and small.

Give the Controller S a try. Your hands will love you for it!

Remember the Sega Genesis? Remember the first time you got to use Sega's 6-button controller? It was great! A sleek, smaller design that got rid of the bulk and wasted space of the original, while also slimming the buttons down as well as adding a second row of face buttons. It was a tremendous improvement that was very welcome at the time.

Now fast-forward to present day: Microsoft, less than a year after the debut of its wonder-machine, has decided (at the bequest of dissatisfied gamers everywhere) to make the controller originally designed for the overseas Japanese market available in the USA. Enter the "Controller S," a smaller model designed to solve the often cumbersome limitations of the original. And it succeeds, albeit not 100%.

Many people cited the controller as one of the bigger drawbacks to the Microsoft XBox: it was too big, the buttons weren't user-friendly, there was a lot of wasted space (hello, logo!) and people really didn't know what to make of those pesky white & black buttons. The Controller S aims to solve these problems, and does so in most areas. The controller is smaller now, thus decreasing reaction time, the analog sticks are now identical and seemingly a bit tighter with less movement area, the gigantic clear dome logo has been replaced by a smaller button-sized logo, and the Back & Start buttons have been relocated to the left side underneath the left analog.

Obviously the biggest (and best) change is the new "standard" placement of the face buttons. They are now North/South/East/West and also flat and circular, instead of teardrop shaped. This makes finding & utilizing them much easier and intuitive. BUT, we still haven't mentioned the B&W buttons yet, and that's where the design fails yet again. Microsoft acquiesced to the positioning of the main face buttons, and should have just place the Black & White buttons in the same pattern as the C & Z buttons on the old Sega Genesis 6-button controller. But, instead of having them in the awkward yet usable spot of the original XBox controller, they are now recessed and completely below the face buttons. This all but forces the player to use the heel of their thumb to press the B&W buttons, whilst the main portion of the thumb performs the usual face button duty. This isn't impossible, but it's even more awkward and counter-intuitive than the previous awkward & counter-intuitive setup.

No bones about it, the Controller S is the better controller. The new design facilitates faster and more accurate control, which is especially helpful in sports games. I noticed the difference in NCAA 2003 the minute I played using the Controller S. Though others maintain that the slower, more deliberate nature of the original is helpful in games like Halo or Star Wars Starfighter, I tend to disagree but your mileage may vary. So check it out and see how much more precise your gaming experience can be with the superior XBox Controller S.

First of all, I own a Samsung LN46B550 46-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV (Samsung LN46B550 46-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color) that I bought (used) in 2010 and which is pretty big, and this did fit perfectly. The mount width is adjustable and I did not have to go to the maximum width (I could have gone around half an inch wider), so I really think it should fit more screens.

The product is great and exactly what I was hoping for. I do have a Wii, a Move AND a Kinect, and I hated the fact that I had to put the Move and the Kinect on my TV stand at the bottom of the screen (the Wii sensor bar I had stuck on top of my TV). Now everything is up and looks tidy. There are little indents on top that ensure that the Kinect stays in place I had wondered about that when I first looked at the product because the Kinect camera moves quite a bit, but it's pretty secure. I am very happy with the product and I would recommend it make sure that you check the dimensions of your TV though just in case.

I was very excited when I first heard of this product. An all-in-one mount for my Kinect and Move. My excitement ended fairly soon after opening up the package, however. After a quick assessment, I realized this would not fit my TV. My TV is not a super-thin LCD, it's from 2007. I realized my TV, when I ordered this device, was bigger than the newer LCD TVs today, but I didn't think it would be too big. Sadly, I need this mount to open up another inch or so to fit my TV, so now I have to decide whether to try to mount this to the wall or return it.

UPDATE: I ended up mounting it to the wall behind the TV, and it works well for that purpose. I realize that I forgot to put depth of my TV in my previous review, which is 5". Also, At the time that I purchased this item, the description did not state that this item only opened up 4".

It's hard being a gamer who wants a neat TV console. Before I got the DreamGear Trimount, I would keep the PS3 eye on top of the TV as that was the sensor I used the most and placed the kinect sensor at my TV's base (even though that was a less than ideal location for the sensor to get my leg movements). The Wii sensor was always being tossed aside until I wanted to play a wiiU game (not very often), at which point I'd be fishing of it amongst the cluster of wires that reside behind the TV.

With the Trimount I can finally place all 3 bars on top of the TV where they function the best. I affixed the mount directly to the TV rather than drilling it into the wall, but it's nice to have both options. The correct way to place the 3 'eyes' on the mount is unintuitive, but not too hard to figure out, and once in place, they will not budge. Fixing it to the TV was as easy as tightening a screw and the included squishy cube was perfect to place between the screw and TV to ensure a snug fit. Overall the product is ugly but functional it's the only way I could find to mount all three sensors at the same time.

It holds all 3 very well, none of them feel in danger of falling off. I have a very thin plasma TV and had to fiddle with the supplied foam inserts to make it lock in correctly, but once I found the right way to set the foam pads it tightened down and doesn't wobble a bit.

Upon first receiving this item, I noticed that the instructions for setting up this item were really user friendly. You can either set this up on top of your tv or mount it. I have decided to put my on top of my tv, for now... Its fairly easy to insert your kinect and playstation eye, as well as the wii sensor bar. The three peripherals all do indeed fit very well and snug, leaving no fear of the items falling off. I end my review by saying that if you want a 360 degree of the item just go to youtube and type dream gear trimount and you are set.

I was really looking forward to this title, but I now have the biggest case of buyer's regret that I think I've ever had with any game. I play a lot of racing games, and I think this is the biggest ripoff I've ever experienced in a game purchase. Understand that I'm playing on the "Easy" difficulty setting and "Novice" driver setup with all assists on, and I've still only been able to get through about 8% of the campaign, and unless Atari comes out with major update to either dial back the difficulty and/or fix the really bad, twitchy handling, this is probably about as far as I'll ever get. I wouldn't mind so much if you were given unlimited access to all the tracks and cars in Arcade and Time Trial modes, but the vast majority of the game's content is locked until you unlock them in the campaign. So as things stand right now, I only have access to 9 out of 36 tracks (nothing from Nordschleife) and 12 out of 52 cars.

Atari, you are hurting yourselves and gaming in general when you make games this inacessable and frustrating. I applaud your choice to have selectable difficulty settings in the game (ALL GAMES SHOULD HAVE THIS), but if you're going to have an Easy setting, IT SHOULD ACTUALLY BE EASY. By all means, have a Difficult setting for hard core gamers who want to spend hundreds or thousands of hours pursuing a near impossible goal if that's what they really want. But for the rest of us mere mortals who want to have fun, and not another freaking job, please give us (and yourselves) a break.

i have been playing race video games for over 35 years and have played most of the top rated arcades and sims from the genre...and preordered game with high expectations...unless you want to pay 50 bucks to be frustrated keep your money in your pocket...this game is the king of restarts...the creator has only given one path in each of the eras to follow..whether you like it or not you have to complete each of the events in order for era...unlike other top games that will allow you to choose which races you want to run and which order you want to run them in...this is a very frustrating game to play...sometimes requiring a dozen or more restarts to complete the event even on the easy setting...i am very proficiant at racing games with more than a thousand hours on forza 3 and 4 alone...this game needs a menu revamp to allow user to choose his or her own path through events...until then don't waste your money.

I was desperately hoping this game would be one of those under the radar titles that turns out to be way better than anything might suggest.

Instead we're presented with an ambitious idea, that falls way short of what it could been. It's a shame because there are plenty of things the game does right, that are lost in what it does wrong.

Let me start off by saying that this game is difficult. Several other reviews have made mention that even on easy, they are struggling to get through the game. I opted to play the game through on hard difficulty. It is challenging to say the least. The real meat of the game is the campaign mode where the game is broken down into 3 different segments: Golden Era, Silver Era, and Modern Era. The Golden and Silver eras have 10 missions in each, and each mission has a different number of events that one must complete. The Modern Era has 15 missions instead of 10. It's a simple idea. However, where the problem comes in, is that the developers made it so you cannot skip around to different missions or different events in missions. You have to go through each one to unlock the next. In the Golden Era, you have the opening mission, no other mission is unlocked. You can only access the first event. Upon completing the main objective, the second event then unlocks. So you must play each event while successfully completing the main objective in order to unlock the next mission. It's tedious and unfortunate they chose to create the game in such a manner. About the only freedom one has, is that they can go into any era they would like. You do not have to start out with Golden, and then beat that in order to progress to Silver. While it might not sound particularly bad, the bulk of the tracks and cars in time trial mode are locked, and the only way to unlock them is by beating the Campaign mode. For anyone hoping to use classic cars such as the 1979 Ferrari F1 car right out of the gate, you will be disappointed. Not until you complete the mission and all the events in the Silver Era where the car is, will it be unlocked.

Now, if this game were easier, it's possible this could have been overlooked to a degree. The game has little flow in terms of difficulty. Some events are easy even on hard, others are brutal and enough to induce rage in the most calm gamers. The problem with the difficult arises mostly in the time trial events. After speaking to several others who have this game, we seem to have reached a general consensus that the time trial events are the absolute worst thing in this game. On hard difficulty, there were some time trials I did think were able to even be completed. You have to be capable of pulling qualifying pole position laps, lap after lap, much in the way Michael Schumacher did in his prime with the Ferrari F1 team. You also have to cut corners without having your lap time disallowed, as I cannot find any conceivable way of beating certain time trial times on hard without cutting corners. Some times are not too difficult, but if you are trying to reach the Legend rank, it appears that every main and bonus objective will need to be beaten. The bonus objectives tend to be where the more difficult times are. While beating the bonus objective times may not be of importance to those who do play the game, for anyone seeking to get the full 1000 gamer score will find it essential. On the other side of the coin, when events are actual races, these are incredibly easy for the most part. The only difficult aspect of races is avoiding the AI cars. Any contact with them whether your fault, or their fault, results in your car likely spinning off the track. It's easy to find yourself constantly restarting races because of contact early on that throws the pace off. Once you get past the AI cars, the race turns into a joke. They aren't capable of keeping up at all save for a few races where they appear to learn to race just for that event. That's not the norm. In one Modern era event on the Imola 1981 circuit, I found myself in a 10 lap race, lapping half the field before the final lap. The difficulty is probably the biggest drawback from this game, and is not for those who are just ok at racing games.

The controls are another issue. The handling can be downright awful. Certain cars can be incredibly twitchy. Too much back and forth to try to straighten a car out can cause a loss of grip with the track, and you'll find yourself smashing into walls/barriers/other cars. Most of this has to do with the car physics themselves. Some cars actually do feel like they have weight when you drive them. Other cars give a sense of weightlessness when driving them. If you learn to be smooth with turning the cars, it becomes easier to have better control over the cars. Do not expect Forza 4, or Gran Turismo 5 handling with a lot of the cars, more in the case of the older cars. From what I can tell though, the cars as they get newer do begin to handle much better. If you stick with the game, you'll likely develop a great feel for what you can, and cannot do with the cars. I found one of the tricks with the earlier cars is to get them to slide through turns as it makes it easier to handle them. The other trick is to learn to turn in on corners early because there are a lot of corners that can be taken much faster than you may think, but it is all dependent on turning in at the right time. The earlier versions of Monza are a great example. With some of the Golden era cars, I found if I turned into the Curva Grande at the right time, I was able to add 20+ KPH to the car speed through the corner. When you can find 20-30 more KPH on corners, it makes a huge difference in the time trial times you will set.

The graphics are a bit disappointing. They would have been acceptable around 2007, maybe 2008 at the latest. I have found pop-up to occur on certain tracks when you look into the distance. In 2012, there is no reason for pop-up in racing games. I lived with it in Gran Turismo 2 in 1999 on the PS1 when console hardware was not capable of what it is now. I expect a bit more from my games on the graphics front nowadays. The tracks themselves do not have the "pop" that you get from Forza 4. They are rather sterile in comparison. But this has more to do with the dated graphics than anything. The car models themselves are actually nice, still not up to Forza 4, or even Forza 3 levels, but it seems to be where the bulk of graphical development focus was spent. All Ferrari cars do have interior cockpit views, which is actually a nice touch. I enjoyed seeing it more for the F1 cars than anything.

If you like the sound of Ferrari engines, you'll enjoy the sound of the game. If you are expecting anything beyond engine sounds, such as an actual music soundtrack, you will be disappointed. There is no soundtrack for this game. The only "soundtrack" are the sounds of the engines. For me, I have absolutely no issue with this because Ferrari cars are known for their distinctive engine sounds. In other racing games that use real world cars, I turn the music off just to listen to the engine.

One of the things I do like about this game are the inclusion of certain tracks that to my knowledge have never been included in a regular console racing game. I know all of the tracks in the game do appear in the PC racing sim rFactor. For anyone who has played rFactor, the included tracks won't hold much value. For others, they may. The inclusion of the Imola circuit as it existed from 1981 till the deaths of Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberger in 1994, is fantastic. I absolutely adored Imola in those days. I was never a fan of of the redesign that took out the Tamburello Corner, and reworked both the Variante Bassa and the Acqua Minerali chicanes. While I would have much more enjoyed the original 14KM Spa Francorchamps circuit, we get the 1980 version, which includes the Bus Stop chicane, as well as a lot of missing parking lot-sized runoff areas. Spa is always a fantastic track for everyone. The old Hockenheimring is here with the long straights through the forests. One of the more curious additions was of Rouen-Les-Essarts. It was the host for F1 back in the 1950s and 1960s, and it wasn't a track I would have expected to see in a modern racing video game simply because F1 last raced there in 1968. It's actually a fun track because of the elevation changes involved. Overall, while I do like some of the tracks included, there is not enough variety in this game. During the Campaign, racing the same few tracks over, and over again, in an Era grows very repetitive. The developers could, and should have added more tracks to this game. It's amazing that so many racing game developers make the mistake of not adding a lot of tracks to their games. The worst thing you can do is cause a game to feel repetitive due to a lack of track selection. There are more than enough cars in the game, but not enough tracks.

What is my final verdict on this game?

The truth about this game is it is geared mostly towards the tifosi (diehard Ferrari fans) who bleed Ferrari. It's not worth buying for more than $19.99, and even at that it may not be a good bargain if you are not able to handle the difficult level of this game. I actually have had some fun with the game, so that's why I rated it 2 stars. The other reason is because as a huge F1 fan, getting to drive the F1 cars such as the 312 F1-67, 312 T4, F1-87, and the F1-90 were actually a lot of fun. The F1 cars actually do handle much better than a lot of the cars in the game, and have a fantastic sense of speed. I was rather disappointed that for some inexplicable reason, they did not include the Ferrari F2004 in the game. The F2004 was the fastest F1 car Ferrari ever built, and absolutely dominated the 2004 season, yet they did not put it in the game. Beyond that, it's a niche game for a niche audience. If you aren't sure about the game, either rent it if possible, or wait till the price drops. If you still are not sure, ask yourself how hard you want to work at a video game. If you want to just put a game in and play it without too much frustration, avoid this game. If you absolutely need a challenge, then consider playing this game. As mentioned earlier, it's a good concept for a game, that unfortunately has just enough wrong with it that keeps it from being a good racing title.

For the achievement hunters: This game is not an easy 1000/1000. The achievement list is straightforward, but the difficulty can be such that it may deter you from ever finishing the game.

Honest reviews on Test Drive: Ferrari Legends - Xbox 360

Ok, I have to start off and say I am a big-time Forza fan and even have a Fanatec Forza racing wheel. (Best Wheel I have ever owned ! ) Anyway, there is no comparison to Forza but I enjoy a variety of racing games. This game so far is enjoyable. The Graphics are just OK and the sound is just OK but here is my biggest problem with the game. I am racing in the Golden era and being that I am a mediocre racer I set the racing options at Novice and it makes it fun for me. The problem is if I choose the Modern era I am screwed. It is if they forgot to apply the Novice settings to this era because I get left in the dust every time no matter how hard I try !!! I am hoping they do an update and fix the problem otherwise it is not playable for me. Just playing in the Golden era I overall rate it as pleasent and enjoyabe but Not Forza. Being I pre-ordered it and only paid $37.00 for it I am going to keep it. If I had paid the $49.00 they are charging for it now I would return it as so far 2/3 of the game for me is un-playable.

Neat start, thought I was with the program, later difficulty prevented me from getting to the tracks I wanted

. The setup options brought some drivability back but the AI keeps killing your efforts!

Take the last lap slow if you have a lead as the AI will make your car un handleble.

Summary: Good staet but really bad later chance to un lock tracks. Would bet most buyers don't get to all the tracks (i.e. nurburgring)

This game has been quite a fun play but it is hard (read: impossible) to control your character without the nunchuk, even though the game says that it can support using only the wii remote without the nunchuk. I think that without a nunchuk the characters movement is controlled by how you tilt the wii remote and when you're smacking it up and down to smash buildings there's a bit of additional movement there, so the monsters end up getting stuck in the corners and all that "fun" stuff. Once I got the nunchuk hooked up, everything was great and I started having lots of fun playing the game.

The gameplay is fun, probably not as fun as the original, but then I'm not 12 anymore either. There are quite a few "unlockables" that will keep you busy for awhile.

Graphics fine, nothing amazing it'd be nice if they had done them slightly better, but nonetheless it didn't detract from the overall game experience.

I think that this is a very fun game, especially if you have multiple players it's fun to watch people play it too.

I bought this game for my son to go with his new Wii. At first we tried playing with just the Wii-mote. It was difficult to get my monster to go where I wanted him to go. The we plugged in the nunchuk and the real fun began. Like in the original game, the monsters can climb buildings, jump, smash things, grab objects and people out of windows for a health boosting snack and pound away on each other. This was one of my favorite arcade games and with the motion sensing remote, the Wii has brought the arcade into my living room.

Not only was this game a lot of fun, it was also half the price of the other games available for the Wii.

Okay, lets get one thing out of the way right now. This is not a terribly engaging game and there's nothing overly impressive about it. You smash things, you eat people--that's about it. There is a little, but not much, variety throughout the game, and for the most part gameplay consists of just destroying various cities (which are, of course, different, but not overly so).

That having been said, this is quite an entertaining game. It's not something I'd play for hours on end and certainly more fun with another person, but it's great for releasing that pent-up aggression. And let's face it--part of the appeal of the Rampage franchise was always just the notion that you got to BE one of those huge monsters attacking a city.

The controls are adequate but not spectacular, though it's fun to swing the Wii remote around as you destroy helicopters and throw oil tankers into the side of buildings. I definitely wouldn't recommend it without the nunchuck, though--it's tough to control a monster's movement with the remote alone. There is kind of a weak story (with a very entertaining clip at the beginning) and objectives you have to meet in each city to beef up the gameplay a little, but mostly the game is just about breaking stuff. There are many new monsters to unlock as well, and I really enjoyed playings some of the new ones (read: giant chicken).

This game also has the classic Rampage and Rampage World Tour versions with it, so be prepared for a little nostalgia trip if you were into those games as well. In my opinion this is what a Wii game should be--a lot of fun without a huge time commitment or an overly detailed storyline.

Who doesn't love smashing cities and eating people and kicking cars?

Same old arcade game of getting shot and eating and distroying everything but now with the Wii remote you SMASH and SWIPE and DESTROY!

This is a fun game. The real problem with it is in its ultra-repetitive nature. Crush buildings, then go and crush buildings, then after that, find some buildings to crush. For 20 bucks its plenty fun, but if i had paid the typical $50 price tag of wii games, id have been a sad panda.

I don't know about you, but I'm not up for paying $20 for another few maps and a new weapon! Amazon sent me a coupon for $20 off, because I purchased Crysis 2 from them. Still, it's a ridiculously overpriced product.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I downloaded the game twice through Amazon, and couldn't get it to install. First time the download was corrupted, and apparently the folks who wrote the Amazon download manager didn't think to break large downloads into smaller pieces if a piece get's corrupted.

The second time I downloaded it, the game installed but wouldn't accept my authorization code without downloading Origin, EA's Downloadable Rights Management program which has a handful of other "features". I didn't want to download Origin, I've heard many bad things about it, so I tried to use the activation code on Steam. The code wouldn't work, even though Steam now sells this exact version of Crysis 2. Figures.

Once I installed Origin (and I had a few problems there, too) I entered the product code from Amazon, and guess what? I had to download the game AGAIN, this time through Origin.

At this point, I've spent ~20 hours downloading and re-downloading the game three times. Origin installs the game (not where I want it installed, of course) and I can finally play the game. But not without an internet connection. The game requires me to run and log into Origin and also log into the in-game thing, even if all I want to do is play the (offline) singleplayer.

I should have spent the $5 extra and bought the game on Steam.

Amazon, please rewrite your download manager so it can re-download and replace corrupted segments of game data. EA... get rid of Origin. You aren't stopping folks who pirate your games, and you're making things a hassle for your paying, PAYING, customers. I hope developers stop making contracts with EA.

Oh, and the game itself? Exactly what I expected because I've played the game before. Fun, but it doesn't really belong in the Crysis franchise. What you can't do is a disappointment compared to the prior games, and what you can do isn't really good enough. Ultimately Crysis 2 is yet another forgettable CoD-ish first person shooter. Singleplayer and multiplayer is unlikely to entertain for long. I mostly bought the game for the various mods that are starting to come from the community.

Nice graphics. That's about it. Story is uninteresting, aliens are different from Crysis 1 with no explaination in the game except from the developer saying they evolved to be more humanlike, total BS. AI sucks, all they do is hide behind walls and pop up and shoot. Even the aliens do that. Well, it is "artificial" intelligence after all. There are only about 5 different types of enemies. No variety, repetitive, run duck shoot run duck shoot

After installing the game it then required me to install Origin (a software by EA) just to open the game up. According to EA Origin is so you can play your games "anywhere and anytime." Seems like the same bs creason they give you to make you accept SECUROM. Their only reason to FORCE you to download additional software AFTER you've legally purchased it from them isn't for piracy, since if that's what you wanted you wouldn't buy it legally to begin with...right? It's so they can collect data on your gaming behavior. Who knows they may collect information on your online behavior too.

The only way to get rid of these software completely is only by wiping your hard drive clean and installing a fresh OS unless you wana continue to give data to EA about everything you do. I paid 8 bucks so I'm not losing much but the last EA game I'll ever purchase. I saw the same thing on Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 or Tiberium War games. They're deciding to screw customers who legally purchase the software by invading their privacy.

received the package just like scheduled. love the way it glows like an orange/red when you're charging, and turns into an indigo blue when its complete. This charger is great! Some other reviews say that it's flimsy, which it sort of is, but not flimsy enough to be fragile. Others say the LED's are too bright, which is not true. It's right next to my tv and the light does not bother me at all. Over all, great product.

Came as advertised. I decided against using the clear XABY buttons because I liked the color ones, but it wouldn't have been difficult to install.

Only complaint I have is that there aren't any instructions, but instead a link to a Youtube video on a piece of paper. The video was for PS3 controllers. It was easy enough to find the seller's Xbox controller video. The video itself was easy to follow and I had no issues with installing.

Just for reference, I've never modded a controller before. The one I used had soda spilled on it and stopped working, so this was an effort to jazz it up a bit while I cleaned it. I swabbed the casing down with rubbing alcohol on a q-tip before I put in the new buttons and everything worked perfectly when I reassembled it.

First off, I just want to say that I love the whole Attitude Era aspect of this game. Just the fact that players can recreate some of the biggest matches in WWE history is awesome. As a side note, I was at the King of the Ring when Undertaker threw Mankind off of the Cell, and let me just say, it was so much fun to recreate it fully in the game.

WWE 13 has a lot of good things going for it, and this review will accent some of the finer points, as well as the not so finer points.

Gameplay: Gameplay for the most part remains the same, one button to hit, one to grapple, one to irish whip and one to block. This time around, there are three modes of play: Exhibition, Universe and Attitude Era.

Exhibition is more exciting with the re-adding of Special Referee and I Quit matches, neither have been seen for a bunch of games.

Universe has expanded for the Wii, and probably the other systems as well. Players have complete freedom to place shows for any day of the week. Case in point, I made a show on Saturdays that just feature the Attitude Era wrestlers, as well as their monthly pay per view (adding these to the calendar is needed to unlock one of the hidden wrestlers).

Attitude Era gives players the chance to relive some of the greatest moments during the Monday Night Wars, from the birth of DX to Stone Cold's wrestlemania wins to the two Survivor Series Screwjobs (Bret Hart and Mankind, respectively). Players are given the choices for how to complete the matches. They can either beat the matches their own way, or they can follow a set of historical objectives, which harkens back to the Legends of Wrestlemania Game, to unlock new characters, new arenas and new belts. This incentive makes Attitude Era a little more difficult.

Just a warning, while the matches are not as difficult as the ones in SDvR 2011 or WWE 12 (by WWE 12, I'm referencing the numerous broken backstage brawls that popped up during the course of Road to Wrestlemania), there are a few difficult matches in the mix.

***Spoiler Alert***

One such match involves hitting two finishers, the second of which must slam the opponent through a table to disqualify your character. It wouldn't be so hard, but developers imposed a five minute time limit on it. So the match actually took an hour to complete (numerous retries).

Graphics: The graphics are Wii quality. Once again, they're a little more cartooney than their HD counterparts, which isn't really bad. The characters look like who they're supposed to look like. The Godfather still comes out with his girls and dances, Dude Love does his funky walk down the ramp, even Brock Lesnar looks awesome as he makes his way down the entrance ramp. Arenas, once again, THQ has outdone themselves. Each modern arena looks exactly like their counterparts, but the Attitude Arenas, they really hit the nail on the head with those arenas (My favorite so far being St. Valentines Day Massacre). The only negative thing I can really say about the graphics is the fact that the audience (as well as JR, King and Cole) kind of look ugly during the matches.

Sounds: Sounds are a mixed bag on the Wii. The entrance themes sound great, and the announcing is better than it has been, especially the banter between JR and the King during attitude era. This, I'm afraid, is where the good things end. I noticed on the Wii, that sound effects don't come over too clearly. In past games, I've heard colisions, slams and punches. THis time around, they come out as very low, if anything at all. Similarly, sometimes it's hard to hear the audience, while other times, it's like they're screaming and I'm scrambling to turn the volume down.

Create a Wrestler: Create a Wrestler is back, I haven't fully made a wrestler yet, but I've browsed, trying to make Angelina Pivarnik and Sgt. Slaughter CAWS. I will add more on this once I finish a wrestler.

Things missing: As usual, Wii owners can expect not to get DLC (though we do get Tyson in the course of Attitude Era, he is not unlocked at the beginning). Wii owners also lack the HD graphics and the ability to create their own arena, which is definitely a let-down for people who want to make completely new shows in Universe Mode. Superstar threads are gone, which to me cancels out the idea of this game being a No Mercy killer. One thing I liked about No Mercy was the ability to update characters (I remember that I had about ten characters in Right to Censor at one point due to my No Mercy storylines with friends).

All in all, WWE 13 is a nice addition. The Attitude Era and Universe modes give the game a lot of replayability. Unlike last year, if anybody wanted to replay a match in the story mode, they don't have to restart the whole chapter.... each match is available for replay once players have unlocked it, which means that players will not have to go back and play the matches leading up to it. Which means I can spend a lot of time re-enacting the epic KOtR battle between Undertaker and Mankind.

Buy or Rent: Definitely a buy, to me, this game is a lot more fun than WWE 12, and possibly just as fun as Smackdown HCTP. -Enjoy

This item was a XMAS gift for my son because he loves the WWE and it was on his list. It was delivered before I could think about when it was coming, a couple of days after I ordered it! It was packaged for damage control which made the delivery safe. My son can't stop playing it and keeps thanking Santa for the great present, he's Nine years old.

Thanks for making his holiday great.

I highly recommend this item for anyone who uses a wireless xbox 360 controller and is tired of paying for batteries. We have had this for a few months now and it is working just as well as it did when I first took it out of the box and plugged it in. It comes with two rechargeable battery packs so when one runs out just swap it for the other. It charges quickly (with 2 hours) and holds the charge for well over 4 hours of continuous play time. The only thing I would change if I could I would be to make it a USB plug to recharge but I guess if you want it to charge as quickly as it does then you need the power an electrical outlet can give. I don't have anything else to add except if you are tired of constantly buying new batteries then this is the item for you. I know it is for me.

UPDATE TO MY REVIEW:

I thought it is worth mentioning that we have had this item just over 2 years now and it is STILL working just as good as the day we bought it and my kids use this almost every day. Worth every penny (and then some).

This charger charges the battery packs of my controls in a few minuets and the charge lasts for weeks. I have never had a problem with it and the product seems to be made of good quality parts. Great Value

I got it and it didn't work at all. I had to wrap a rubber band on it to keep it tight enough for the batteries to charge. Complete and total waste of money and time.

All I can say is my grandchildren liked the game. Not a gaming person myself, I just try to purchase games for my grandchildren when I see them at reasonable prices.

Game is really easy for young kids to be able to play. I bought it for my 4 year old nephew and ended up playing it also.

This is a good game with lots of exploring that your little ones will like. It is not a shoot em' up game. My sixth grader is a little bored with it but not my second grader.
