I don't quite know how to describe how great this game really is...I just sat down for 15 hours straight and couldn't put the controller down until the end of the credits. This game combines everything and anything you could ever want in a movie, a game or any entertainment experience. Uncharted 2 has incredible characters, wonderful story, some of the best acting I've ever seen (Not just the voice acting, but the actual animations of the characters, their facial expressions), everything is done so beautifully I'm absolutely speechless. Among Thieves exceeded the hype in my mind, it immerses you in this incredibly detailed and lush environment, seamlessly bouncing you back and forth from gameplay to breathtaking cinematic wonder, and most often, combines them both at the same time. Just the attention to detail is astounding. I wish I had a better vocabulary so I could give this review justice but you should just see for yourself! You will not regret this purchase one bit, the multiplayer is even fun! If you own a PS3 and don't have this game, then you should sell your PS3.

I'm sure if you're reading this you've already read countless other reviews praising the game for it's superb voice acting, mind blowing graphics, wonderful story telling, and it's riveting gameplay. I'm only writing this to enforce all of these things and hopefully tip you over the fence into buying this game immediately. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves contains almost every element that was in the first and improves upon it. For those of you who haven't played the first game it is essentially Gears of War meets Tomb Raider + Awesomeness all rolled into one. For those of you who did play Uncharted: Drake's Fortune you're all too aware of how short the first game was and I'm pleased to tell you that this game is substantially worth it. Not only does it last about 3-4 hours longer buy it features something to do when you're done, multiplayer. The multiplayer is essentially what you'd expect from Call of Duty 4 with and a 3rd person twist and several unique modes to shake up the formula. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is like buying a three entree plate from Panda Express. It leaves you completely full and satisfied and although you'd happily enjoy another serving of Orange Chicken you can leave the restaurant knowing you got what you paid for. Buy this game and enjoy it because although it's built upon the qualities of other games, there's really nothing out there quite like it.

I promise to make this 100% Spoiler free, but I must say that after experiencing that which is Uncharted 2, this game is pretty solid indeed. If you enjoyed the first Uncharted then this one will be an extremely enjoyable experience. This game lasts more than 2-4 hours longer than the previous one, tops the cake for having some of the best cinematics, graphics, and sound experience offered on the PS3.

One of the features that I was a bit weary about was the multiplayer because I do not really consider myself a multiplayer fan, however, I must say that that which is in Uncharted 2 is enough to last those who just like multiplayer games a long time. There doesnt seem to be anyway to do offline multiplayer however, for an experience online (with up to 3 player co-op), and about 10 people in the deathmatch modes, there is little to crave. It seems that they developed an amazing Single player experience and added a great multiplayer experience.

Ultimately, with a heartpounding action packed story, a landmark presentation value, and exciting multiplayer and single player modes, I can not really find anything to criticize the game for. (well perhaps the most criticism would be the amount of logo's on the back of the boxart, or even the at times difficulty of AI).

One more thing, the game has trophy support, headset support, (upcoming twitter support), a multiplayer shop system (to buy skins, and boosts), future DLC, and unlockables.

Please add this game to your PS3 library.

Honest reviews on Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - Playstation 3

It's been a couple of weeks since the bomb that is Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has dropped. Did you get caught in its blast? Or have you avoided its fallout? If you have then I say what the hell are you waiting for?? Go get contaminated!

It's not all the time a game like Uncharted 2 comes around. A game that will say hello to you, then grab you by the neck and slam you around the room a few times, stop, then kiss you a bit and get you all emotionally connected only to take your lips 2 minutes later and tuck them between your legs and pull them up over your ass so fast it'll make your head spin right off your neck. Ok, so that won't literally happen, but if you were to take that energy, passion, climactic intensity, and overall jaw dropping action and crush it all up into one neat little ball of beauty, power, and downright coolness, then you my friend might as well call that little ball Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

You should know the story by now. You're the hero, who goes on a journey of personal fulfillment, only to find yourself in a situation where you have to save to world. It may sound big scale because it is. The way the game starts equals that of most Hollywood blockbusters. And know, that it does not let up.

From start to finish all you will find yourself doing is sitting on the edge of your seat wanting more and more. It has been said that this is not a game, but more like an interactive movie. The nail couldn't have been hit more dead on. The way the story rolls with sequences that take control for seconds at a time and are so fluid you don't even realize you're back in control of the character are amazing to watch. The timing of the action, the dialogue, the scenery, there is absolutely nothing small about this game and it let's you know that with every shoot out, car explosion and helicopter chase. The level of detail from a murky jungle to the ruins of a lost city, would be done no justice by explaining them with nothing but simple words. The character designs, not just the way they look, but their attitudes, their demeanor, the way they act and the things they do, all will leave you loving, hating, laughing and mourning with every step they take, every thing they do and every word they say.

There are moments where you're hurt and can't run at full speed. Moments where you'll be dragging someone around and you feel it in the way you walk, you feel the tense moments of trying to shoot someone with your one free hand. It's almost as if the people of Naughty Dog sat down and asked what would be the most over the top things to experience in a game? And amazingly, without a lack of polish, or quality, they managed to have you saying "no effing way, did that just happen?!" over and over again.

Now, being over the top is not necessarily a good thing. But when it's scripted moments that when thought about, you can actually see happening in the given situation, then over the top is definitely a good thing. Thinking realistically, the outcome may not always be the hero coming out unscathed, but then again, like I said, this is a Hollywood blockbuster type game. So don't expect anything less.

Now, as far as negatives go. It really is hard to sit and look for something bad in something so good. But being on the last leg of my second playthrough of this averaged 10-12 hour game, I can honestly say there is almost nothing I can point out and say this is a flaw. I'd love to sit here and say there is but there really isn't. The only solitary thing I noticed on my second playthrough is the issue of trying to take cover on a wall when it is right next to another wall. The proximity of the two walls make it a little difficult to attach yourself to the one you want to if you're not looking at it at the right angle and it can leave you open for a serious hurting at the wrong time. But like I said, that was noticed on my second playthrough so it's not even really a problem or issue, more of a gripe. Other than that there are people who will nit pick and say something wasn't rendered right or say that's B.S., that can't ever really happen, but when it comes down to it, as far as gameplay, mechanics, background environments, and story go, this package is virtually flawless. The flaws of the first game have been fixed and improved upon, the animation is on point and like I said, the characters make you feel like you know them. I can promise you, if you enjoy playing video games, and enjoy a story driven experience then there is nothing that will stop you from loving this game.

Now, as far as multiplayer goes, I've given my impressions on it before. You can find it here: . And it all still stands. The multiplayer mode of this single player monster was always worried about. But in the end it turned out to be a solid piece of work that surprised a lot of people. It's fun, it's addicting, easy to get used to and full of things to unlock and use. It captures the essence of the single player experience amazingly well and you can't help but feel like you walked out of the store buying 2 games for the price of 1. The only problem with the multiplayer is that more than likely, by the time you read this, a monstrous behemoth of the multiplayer world known as Modern Warfare 2 would have came out. And no matter how amazingly great the multiplayer of Uncharted 2 is, there are few that will be able to contend with the likes of what Infinity Ward is going to bring to the online table. And it's because of that fact this aspect of the game will be considered a lost gem for online players in the near future.

Ok. You've seen the videos, you've read the reviews, and heard the praise. I'm telling you nothing different. Since day one I've had the pleasure of enjoying Uncharted 2 and couldn't be happier. I know this is more of a commercial than a review but it is so hard not to love this game, and even harder to find something wrong with it. Everything I've said is as close to the truth as I know it. There are honestly no games out there that I can say I've completed and not 5 minutes later, started all over again just for fun. The replay value is grand with 100 collectible treasures cleverly scattered throughout the game. Trophies with matching in-game medals that will net you money to spend on their little storefront where you can buy behind the scenes movies, and various items that you can use and apply to a very robust multiplayer if Modern Warfare 2 isn't your thing.

All in all Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is thee must buy for any Playstation 3 owner. Sure, you can rent it, just be warned that by the time you finish it, or maybe even start it, you're going to be wishing you didn't have to send it back and that it was all yours to play whenever you want. This is what gaming is all about. This is why I have a passion for my hobby. And it is the reason why I love my PS3 again.

On my rating scale, I give this experience a stunning:

5 Water Bottles Full of Pee, out of 5.... (that scale should be self explanatory)

This is one of those games that will keep you glued to your TV for hours until you manage to beat it or your bladder explodes, whatever happens first.

Right from the start it will submerge you into its world of friendship, adventure, action, betrayal, mystery, and love. The heroes are so likable that you wish they were real so you could go have a beer with them.

But the story is not the only thing that shines, the graphics are just breath-taking and the controls are very responsive. This time around I enjoyed the stealth sections.

And I'm only talking about the single-player campaign. I was afraid multiplayer would be an after-thought, yet the Dogs managed to create a very solid and entertaining experience, not to mention addictive.

But enough blah blah blah, if you like great games get off your chair right now and go buy it!... You're welcome :)

i have most all the xbox 360 guitar games. but with the air drums and guitar that comes with this for suck a low price. the guitar alone is worth more than what it sells for on here.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

I haven't played the game yet because I bought the unit for the drum kit to use with my other games. The guitar works great as long as you can remember to skip the nut and go to the first fret, which requires some knowledge of a real guitar. The drums work great with my other games once I angled it like the other drum sets instead of straight on the ground. I wish it was made to sit like this instead of me having to angle with other things but after that inconvenience they're fine.

Best Deals for Power Gig: Rise of the SixString Band Bundle - Xbox 360 (Band Kit)

OK, the game itself isn't that bad. Despite the cheesy graphics and goofy storyline, the music is actually OK.

My bad review is on the instrument peripherals.

The airstrike drums are completely frustrating and UNfun. They don't register hits half the time. You're not actually playing drums, you're striking the air with the drumsticks. The IR sensor has to be exactly aligned with the drum sensors and you have to "shake" it to get it to register the hit. It definitely does not feel like you're really playing drums. Do yourself a favor, use a Rock Band drum kit.

And then the "real guitar." It really is technically a real guitar, that you can use to play this game. But it's mostly a gimmick-don't expect to actually learn how to play guitar. This is a rhythm game just like guitar hero, except you're using a real guitar with strings instead of a plastic guitar with buttons.

The only addition is the option to play "power chords". The game uses a whopping TWO power chords-one uses two fingers and one uses one finger-and the fingering is exactly the same no matter where it's played on the fretboard. A monkey can learn how to do that.

Actually playing the song with the power chord option, I did not find to be very much fun either.

If you want to learn real guitar skills I suggest you get Rock Band 3 and buy the pro guitar peripheral.

My Microsoft headset microphone stopped working after 7 months and my identical spare did not work out of the box (Microsoft did replace one with one that did work), so I swore off all Microsoft 360 headsets and went with the Plantronics X10 for Xbox 360. At first, it was a little snug but soon I got used to it. Works like a charm and all of my friends can now hear me loud and clear. I really like the volume/mute switch being inline because I can clip it to where I need it. At $14.99, this head set was cheaper than the Microsoft version. Hopefully, the Plantronics headset will last longer than the Microsoft set. I gave this headset 4 stars due to it's tighter than expected fit. All in all a better choice....so far.

I ordered this headset cause of two reasons. I wanted my own (cause I only had one and I was sharing it my sister) and for best performance under a reasonable price. So I found this headset here on Amazon. It had good reviews so that was easy enough to convince me. Now let me go into detail about this headset. First of all the most notable thing about the Plantronics Xbox 360 (Xbox compatible too) headset is it's durability. The regular Microsoft headset is kinda ok but it looks like it could break easily as most people have reported this. It's design is very great. The head band is a little bit off curved but that's still ok. The microphone is flexible that way you can have it face to your mouth. It is also switchable in sides so that you can have it either on your left or right side of your face. The output sound on the speaker is like 2x better than the regular Microsoft headset. The shape of the speaker is comfortable than the circle shape. I have been told by my Xbox Live friends that they can hear me very well. Lastly is the headset's color. It's very xbox traditional color Black and Green. Anyways, I love my headset. If you're looking for something cheap yet very good at performance then this headset is the way to go. Hands down. Of course I wouldn't say it's the very best other than those hundred dollar headsets, but it's still good. So yeah that's it. I will try to put a video review soon. So look out for that.

*******UPDATE*******

Sept 23, 2011

My headset continues to work great after so much use. There are minor things that have happen but keep in mind when I say "MINOR". The little icons on the controller of the headset which indicates the mic being off or on have faded completely. That's normal because of switching it and how fingers have oil and what not, you get the idea. The pad opposite to the speaker came off but I have replaced it using super glue. I have noticed that some people say that they sound quiet to their friends with the headset. It's not the headset's fault. It's your internet connection. My friends can clearly hear me on this headset.

So anyways just wanted to give this brief update on this great product. Keep on gaming!

*******UPDATE*******

July 27, 2012

Over time my headset started to get tears and openings along the wire coat. I've patched them up with electrical tape. That held it together for a good amount of time. These started to happen around late May of this year. Now jumping to this late into the month my headset has been cutting out on me a lot. My friends would even noticed this. So I knew it would be only soon that my headset would officially die on me. Just yesterday it did. For two years and a half I have had this headset. I have taken care of it the best I can and it lasted this long. Well it was worth my money. I do say it's the quality of the wire's coat that made it die. Oh well. Oh! Also to note that the soft covering over the earpiece will indeed tear off.

I have found a new replacement. I have my eyes set on the Plantronics M214C headset. I hope to buy it. Soon.

Best Deals for Plantronics Gamecom X10 - Xbox 360

After the "official" microsoft headset broke, I looked at lots of different headsets to replace it. This is a great alternative to the other one, and it's the same price! Though it has a similar design style at first glance, this headset is larger and wider than the Microsoft one, and doesn't dig into your head. It fits comfortably, and sometimes I don't even know it's there. Plus, I have not heard any complaints online about the microphone, so I assume it is adequate. Overall, a great product at a great price.

Honest reviews on Plantronics Gamecom X10 - Xbox 360

The XBOX 360 headset was purchased after the Microsoft headset that arrived with the XBOX 360 console suddenly stopped working. The new headset is much sturdier and clearer. My grandson uses it for XBOX live and can communicate with the other gamers without any problems. I would recommend this headset as a replacement for the Microsoft headset.

This works great! Don't be afraid of 3rd party products, this works quite well. The inline volume control is nice, and the unit looks fine. It's a little cheaper than the standard headset, and much cheaper than Microsoft's wireless one. Get this if you got the core console and want Xbox Live, or if you need a replacement.

EDIT IMPORTANT: in the time since I made a very positive initial review the add-on wheel has developed a problem. What I thought was just a loose collar screw (which can happen) causing the wheel to rock back and forth a little turned out to be an issue with the wheel itself. I confirmed the problem with TM tech support, and for sure its a problem with the wheel and not the base unit. Be advised.

(The problem specifically is: the male threaded part of the add on wheel may become slightly loose where it mates with the back of the wheel, because they are two separate parts. However they are held together, they came a little bit loose in my case.)

100% full disclosure: I actually bought 2 of these add on wheels from Mac Mall. The first one let out a loud 'crack' while I was using it, sounding like two pieces of plastic held together by adhesive suddenly let go. I saw no evidence of something broken but the wheel would afterward make small noises in use, and I didnt accept it. So I returned that one and received the second one, which is the one that developed the wobble (above). So why keep the 5 star rating?? Because the wheel is beautiful, otherwise, and mine may have just been oddballs.

.............

The wheel itself is the same diameter as the G25 and G27, which makes it extremely comfortable to use.

The paddle shifters are perfectly placed and sized, and they also use a non metal-to-metal stop; so the end of the shift is not a hard clank, but a bit deadened. Nice.

The construction seems identical to the larger GT wheel in terms of materials, etc.

The stock static paddles can be easily removed! Thrustmaster has instructions with pictures on their website. All it takes is a screwdriver and 5 minutes.

Click Here For Most Helpful Customer Reviews >>

+ As many know, this wheel is one inch smaller in diameter than the stock GT wheel. This is great for open wheelers and adds a real responsiveness to the force feedback.

+ It's also a little heavier than the stock wheel. IMO this eliminates quite a bit of the "notchiness" of the stock wheel.

+ Shifters and button placement is a huge improvement over the stock wheel.

As with all Thrustmaster products I own, they had to skimp somewhere. This wheel does seem to squeak and creek for everyone. Here's what I've discovered: See the plastic housing where the buttons are all located? If you squeeze the top and bottom on that section, it'll make cheap plastic noises. The top and bottom housing for this has an incredibly tight fit. And when you're racing, this causes tension between the two and creates the cheap noises. It's mildly annoying, but I don't think it's going to lesson the lifespan of the actual wheel any (will edit if this changes in the future).

Best Deals for Thrustmaster Ferrari GTE F458 Wheel Add-On for PS3/PC/Xbox One

I own all the thrustmaster T500 wheel addons and so far only problem was the Ferrari Gt wheel went loose after 2 weeks but I just nipped up the front Allen screw bolts and was good as new.

Recommend this wheel to anyone who owns the T500 as it is much better than the original (with the moving paddle shift and the smaller diameter wheel).

Got the wheel delivered to Australia whith no problems and very quick.

Honest reviews on Thrustmaster Ferrari GTE F458 Wheel Add-On for PS3/PC/Xbox One

This wheel is just a bit smaller than the original T500rs wheel which i personally find a lot better, Also the paddles are no longer static and move with the wheel which makes driving cars with a sequential box 100x better.

Must have for T500RS owners.

first off .... i LOVE Batman!!!!

i've always loved Batman since i can remember, and these days there seems to be no shortage of Batman to go round!

over the years we've been Lucky enough to experience some truly amazing Batman comics, cartoons, toys, movies and video games.

unfortunately we've also been duped every so often into falling for the shameless license exploiting cash grabs!

after playing through some awesome moments in 'Arkham Origins' i honestly believe the makers REALLY wanted to make a great game

a game they could be proud of and one that we'd all praise and love!

but due to whatever reason the game is quite amiss in a number of many MANY areas!!!!

now before i start picking it apart i'd like to say that i'm glad i bought it and am getting enjoyment from it for the most part, .....BUT

i just can't begin to describe JUST how choppy the game plays!

ESPECIALLY the hand to hand combat!!!

i mean, that's the whole meat and potatoes of the game right there!!!

though while not completely unplayable it's hit or miss, and i do mean that literally!!!

this games big draw is the HUGE amount of Boss battles and when you face off in a very long drawn out battle where split decision precision timing means the difference between winning and having to restart a level all over again, it gets very VERY frustrating!!!

speaking of restarting from the beginning? IF you DARE try 'i am the night' if you die it's game over and you to have to restart from the VERY beginning of the game! highly increased difficulty coupled with faulty gameplay, this mode is only recommended to the most hardcore or those who want an ulcer?

but if you actually DO complete 'i am the night' mode you'll be rewarded with a very cool Batman 'Arkham Origins' Avatar.

somewhere along the way i also unlocked a 'Joker' Avatar, but i don't recall exactly how and when i did it?

the broken non-responsive controls in this game are a sin and really hold it back from that greatness that it could have been!

but besides the faulty controls there are glitches A PLENTY!

i think my favorite moment was in challenge mode when an enemy was holding a crate over his head to throw at me and i couldn't attack him.

he just stood there till the match was over still holding the crate over his head!

another instance my character went inside an elevator, and as the elevator rose my character didn't rise with it.

but more frustrating is when your game freezes and you have to restart your console

or even WORSE if your game save corrupts and has to be deleted!!!

that was probably the most glaring example of lack of quality control and gameplay testing!!!!

from a design point of view, visually and cinematically the game is a masterpiece!

the story is intriguing the voice acting is VERY good! and though it was at first jarring not to hear Kevin Conroy voicing Batman

i really grew to enjoy the vocals Roger Craig Smith provided! there are moments he sounds truly intense and powerful!

and then he also knows when to bring it back and play the cool and calculating Batman!

the Back and forth between him and Martin Jarvis as Alfred are a pleasure to behold.

a decent amount of voice cast return from Arkham City,

but a real thrill was to hear Robert Costanzo from Batman the Animated Series reprise the voice of Detective Harvey Bullock!

i'm still adjusting to hearing Troy Baker voice Joker. he's doing a decent enough job of it (not many would dare follow in the shoes of the AMAZING Mark Hamill)

but i think Baker's best Joker moments are when he makes the roll his own and has fun with it, rather than the moments where he sounds like he's trying to emulate Hamill. but that's just my own personal thoughts. even still, i think he did a good Joker and i hope to hear him voice the character again in the future.

one thing that really was frustrating was the new branching upgrade ladder!!!

i honestly DO NOT see the point of why you can no longer just immediately chose the combat boost upgrades instead of having to upgrade your armor first?!

when i'd play 'Arkham Asylum' or 'Arkham City' i'd upgrade every combat boost available before leveling up my armor even in the highest difficulty setting.

both games had such tight fighting controls, you could avoid taking damage with enough practice.

not being able to upgrade my special takedown boost from 8 hits to only 5 hits right away really made me notice how broken the combat really is.

even after i purchased the upgrade, the combat is vastly improved but overall control issues continue to be tiresome!

grapnel boost/gliding through the city also feels a bit disjointed and not as fluid as it was in Arkham City.

it seems there are less areas on the building to grapple and launch from?

soaring through the city just seems a lot less fun than it was last time!

the City is much larger than previously and while environments are reminiscent to there previous version, they are fresh and new.

the model of Gotham City is Gothic and it is beautiful! and seeing the city and hearing the powerful Musical Score is a wonder to behold!

despite all the glaring issues and flaws, there are things to enjoy here.

and Batman fanatics are in for a REAL treat! .....especially if you are a real Comic enthusiast!

everything else aside the big question is WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS GAME?????

my answer to that would have to be, if you are a Batman fan? then.... YES!

but be warned ..... there is a LOT that needs improvement!

and although it's nowhere near as BAD as 'Batman: Dark Tomorrow' but the game requires a lot of getting used to it's flaws and hiccups.

so here are the pro's and con's

Pros-

beautiful environments

fantastic character models

great musical score

engaging story

brilliant voice acting (for the most part)

excellent cinemas

plenty of missions

lots of Boss battles

return of most fan favorite moves

return of most gadgets

Cons-

game freezes and needs to be restarted

awful collision detection in combat

non responsive controls

combat does not flow as smooth

aim of quick-fire gadgets is terrible

some of the special moves are now inefective

camera issues

difficult to navigate city

'game plus' mode not as good as 'Arkham City' IMO

upgrades locked in set sequence of availability

dark knight system challenges locked in set sequence

game save files will corrupt from time to time

i am enjoying Arkham Origins for Batman experience it delivers

there is so much potential here!

but the true shame is that with all the issues, the game is only a 3.5 when i know that with more polish it could have been a 4.5 or even 5.0!

This mess was not ready to be released. Glitches galore! Game freezes frequently causing you to have to restart. Boss battles have HUGE difficulty spikes. Be prepared to play many of the boss battles over and over before you can get past them. VERY FRUSTRATING! This is further exasperated by the broken/non responsive combat controls. Had to restart several missions due to the inability to interact with other characters or controls in the environment. Had multiple corrupt save files. If you must play it, wait until it's in the bargain bin.

Honest reviews on Batman: Arkham Origins - Xbox 360

I am not a gamer that is close or follows the Batman story or development outside the games/movies. So whatever story is developed I enjoy very much. I just play games because I enjoy them. I remember trying the demo for Asylum and loved it because I fell in love with the fight system. I'm a perfectionist and the fight system really challenges me and also annoys me when I know I can do better. With that being said I am glad WB Montreal kept the fighting/predator system the same. Here are my thoughts of how I view the game of just being a gamer.

Here are some of bad things first for some people:

1. Lack of innovation: This might drive some players crazy because there is not really anything new to the fighting/predator moments. At the same time if you are a fan of the older games...why change something that is great? There are some new things that were added but not much different from the base of the old games. The only new things seem to be the detective mode, where scanning crime scenes go more in depth and you need to find evidence. There is also multi-player which I have not tried yet.

2. Lifeless: Since this is a prequel you are doing missions across Gotham city and of course Arkham City before it was converted for the inmates in AC. I wanted to see civilians in the street and traffic but there was nothing. In AC there were those helicopters flying around and would follow you if they spotted you, there's not much going on in the air this time around and I felt alone in the city which should be full of life.

***SPOILER***

When you run in to Joker for the first time and he blows up the building across the street. Then Batman grabs Joker and asks "How many innocent lives did you take?" I felt nothing because you don't see life in the city to make that connection to the citizens in the game.

***END SPOILER***

3. Prequel: I mostly hate prequels because you always know what the future outcome is going to be with some of the main characters. I liked to be surprised. Like I said above I don't follow Batman stories outside the movies/games. Introducing some lesser known villains was a plus and it helped balanced that out for me for unpredictability.

4. Freezing: I have had the game freeze up on me 4 times already within the first 24 hours I had it. There is no pattern for it and it's random. It happened to me on the title screen the first time I started it, when I was in a fight, when I was gliding around, and when I was upgrading my abilities. It seems like many people have run into freezing issues and hoping this is something that can be patched.

Now for the good things:

1. No learning curve: This could be a good or bad thing for players but for me this was good. Why change anything if it's something we fell in love with in the first two games? I loved being able to dive into the game without having to look up the controls.

2. Challenge: Even though fighting and predator is copy/paste, I found myself dying a lot more in boss fights and even a couple of street fights. Since I am a fan of the fighting in this series I paid close attention to detail in the fighting. It made me think WB Montreal put more thought into the beginning of Batman and I saw that in the fighting.

As you level up, you are limited to what you can upgrade because you can only upgrade certain abilities as long as you follow the upgrade trees. I liked this because you can't start off getting the combo finishers after a 5x hit combo as soon as you level up and pick it. This means you're stuck with 8x hits before using a combo finisher for awhile. There is no such things as perfect hits anymore as well (which is replaced by an alternative later in the game). It made gang fights a lot more challenging and made me think "this is perfect" since this is a prequel. Batman should not be an expert yet and this made me feel like Batman was "learning" and grew into the fighter he was in AA and AC.

3. Story: Seems like a lot of people are finding the story boring and ill admit at the start it felt boring until there was a good turning point within a few hours of game play. I thought the voice acting is also incredible. I knew Mark Hamill had retired from the Joker's voice and they were using someone new for Batman as well. I had to look up the voice actors as I was playing it because Joker sounded identical. I could tell the difference with Batman, but the actor was still great for him.

Final Thoughts:

The game has its ups and down and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I'm looking forward to multiplayer and challenge maps. If you liked AA and AC, this is worth a buy. I think most of the down sides is just players being picky.

I was very worried hearing that WB Montreal was taking over this game, but in the end I am very happy with what they did. There was so much worry and buzz around WB being the new developer that I was almost expecting this game to be bad. In the end I find myself smiling because WB Montreal stuck with what we loved in the game and tried to add some changes of their own. I loved that it was something I was familiar with, unlike others might not like the lack of innovation.

People complaining about the lack of innovation are just bored with the game period. I love the fighting in the game and it will be awhile before I am "tired" of the game play.

For example Assassin's Creed. I loved those games, but when I got to the 4th game (Revelations) I was so bored with the repetitive game play it took me over a year to finally force myself to finish the game and play Assassins Creed 3. Its part of human nature to get bored of things and I wouldn't be surprised if I got bored with the next Batman game like I did with Assassin's Creed.

It's almost seems like lose/lose for WB. Players will complain that everything is the same, but at the same time if WB had changed up the game play, those same people would be complaining how it's not as good as the "older" games. If you are one of those players...move on already.

If you loved the first two games, you will love this one as well. Don't over think it before you buy/rent the game because you will get lost in it like you did with the others.

Thanks for reading and I will update this as I complete the game and try multiplayer.

**UPDATE 10/27/13**

I made a mistake in my original review above. I said there were no such things as perfect/critical hits anymore. As I got near the end of the story I noticed my combo meter building up faster then normal. I looked into my upgrades and critical strikes was unlocked. I am not sure what unlocked it but it is not something you can manually level up to unlock.

Multiplayer was actually a lot better then expected. It's very hard finding a match at this time and it's probably because not enough players have finished the story before moving on to multiplayer. Since the game is new, I expect to see matchmaking to speed up by next week when more people finish the story and definitely a huge spike in players after the holidays. Currently I have only played in 2 matches and it took about 5 minutes to get 7 other players to join in a match.

Playing the 2 matches was actually pretty fun. The controls are very similar to Gears of War since you play as henchmen with weapons. Aiming/zooming is the same as Gears and you can take cover behind objects. Its basically 3v3v2. 3v3 are henchmen and the other 2 are a team of Batman/Robin. Basically its a domination style match while Batman/Robin can interrupt you. Batman and Robin get their own score by building up "intimidation".

I don't know how the scoring works in the end, because after both matches, the heroes won both times. It is random if you're playing as a henchmen or a hero. Of course if you play a hero, the controls are all the same like they are in single player. The best way to describe it right now is Gears of War mixed with Batman. There are other multiplayer modes as well but I was only able to play one mode since the others were still locked?

**UPDATE 10/28/13**

I changed my rating of the game overall to 4/5 stars. It probably should have been this rating from the start but all the freezing in the game is really starting to get to me. After reading many forums and seeing other reviews on here its a common technical problem for everyone.

Now I'm trying to get through game mode+ and when I'm trying to be more focused and into the game, it freezes up on me and I have no idea where the last save is going to be. Because of the constant freezes, it makes me more aware of the save icon in the corner of the game because I am always ready for the game to crash or freeze. Obviously that is not something you should have to be aware of when playing a game like this! If this gets patched then I will change my rating back to 5 stars. Since this is a very common problem, it probably should be patched soon... we can only hope.

**UPDATE 10/29/13**

This might be my last update for awhile since there is really nothing more to go over. I did do a few more MP matches and got to see how bad the online servers are.

They are a little laggy because when you knock someone out as a hero, the player's body could be 5 feet away as you are punching the ground to knock them out, and it still counts as a KO. If the host leaves the match, it will try to find a new host, but in the process it won't ever transfer to a new host and you will have to reset the game. Same thing happens if you finish a match and a lot of other players leave, the game will try to find another session for the remaining players to join and it gets stuck in that process and you would have to reset again.

Until they patch the freeze issues for single player, I wont bother continuing game mode+.

**UPDATE 10/30/13**

Game developers WB Montreal has acknowledged problems with the game.

"We are currently reviewing and validating issues that have been reported to us," Warner Bros. told X360A. "Updates will be deployed once we have fixes available."

**UPDATE 11/8/13**

Put the game in today to find an update! Since I wasn't sure what was updated I looked on WBM website. Looks like they fixed some on the random infinite falling points. I was able to play 3 hours without a crash or freeze even though they said they were still working on the crashing and freezing. They are still working on the corrupted game files too.

**UPDATE 11/12/13**

I continued my story and that is where the freezing happened again. The update must have fixed something because I only froze 2 times in 2 days which before it would be 4-5 times a day. With my last update I was doing the challenge maps and I guess those are fine for not freezing up on you.

**UPDATE 11/19/13**

Changing back to 5 stars since my freezing issues appear to be gone.

I was able to complete new game plus. Throughout my whole play through I only froze up 2 times which are the freezes I mentioned in the last update. It feels stable enough now for me to try I am the night mode. Tried to get into multiplayer again but it couldn't even match me up with one other person. Not sure if most people gave up on multiplayer or if they are having server issues.

**UPDATE 11/25/13**

I tried I am the Night mode. It does add extra excitement while playing it. I actually played it for a couple of hours and got to Gotham's Police Department. I ended up dying in the predator mode in the GCPD building. Weapons definitely do more damage in I am the Night mode because I took a shot gun shot in the back and died with almost 75% of my health left.

I read that physical damage from punches do more damage to Batman as well, but after getting hit once or twice, it appeared to be the same amount of damage in normal mode. I think they just added extra damage to weapons. Even though I was a couple of hours into the game and died, I wasn't even upset because I hadn't felt that excited or felt that awesome for taking on Death Stroke and not even losing half my health.

I got about 20 hours into the game, ignoring the game freezes, and occasional glitches as i could but then my save dike got corrupted and I'm afraid to restart cause my file may get lost again. The game is fun when it works so there is that. I tried asking for a refund from wb. As a response they deleted my comment and blocked me on Facebook and havnt responded to my email so add terrible customer service to issues with this game.

The idea and look of these is just AMAZING. They are easy to install and built well.

MAJOR PROBLEM

The tops of the joystics are absolutely horrible. Well i actually don't mind the left side but if you play duty then you might as well give up on the right side because your finger will not sit on it well and it will slide all around and do nothing but make you very very very mad.

My fix. I use to use Kontrol Freeks. I had one left over so i grabbed the bottom of the rubber near the upright of the KF with needle nose pliers. I pulled the rubber off the plastic very slowly. Then i pulled some cotton off some qtips and stuffed the rubber with it. Just enough to make sure that the rubber wouldn't float around loosely on the modstick. Then i pulled the rubber back over the top of the modstick and WOWWWWW perfect! Wow i'm good. Anyways i only need this modification on the right side and if you can manage the same mod then go for it. It's wicked nice being able to drop stick down a little more than KontrolFreeks. I actually die less now because not only am i more accurate but when you are lifted up as drastic as a kontrol freek then it actually takes more time to turn fastly because of more travel.

Xbox Arcade Unplugged is a collection of some of the best-selling games from the Xbox Live Arcade on the Xbox 360. Included is 6 games, 3 demos and a 1 month subscription to live.

1 month of live (retail $8) It is a great service for online play of any game. You can download and rent movies, buy tv episodic content, and chat with friends, families, and strangers around the world.

Bejeweled 2 (retail $10)A popular puzzle game in which you try to match up jewels in order to get to the next level. There are several modes to Bejeweled, some unlockable. The game is a real challenge, and if you like puzzle games, you will be pleased with Bejeweled 2.

Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved (retail $5) An instant classic in the tradition of Asteroids. You fly around in a 'ship' trying to destroy geometric shapes, each having their own characteristics. As you progress, the games elements get harder, and more shapes are introduced. A fantastic game that is fun for just about everyone.

Hardwood Backgammon (retail $5) Classic Backgammon action. You can play against a friend on the couch, vs. the computer, or take on someone online on Xbox Live. Hardwood Backgammon is also Camera Enabled.

Outpost Kaloki X (retail $10) A strategy game in which you are in outer space, attempting to manage power and research. A variety of missions and scenarios to keep you busy are included.

Wik and the Fable of Souls (retail $10) A crazy game about a small creature who uses his tongue to eat bugs and whip around treelimbs. Part puzzle game, part action, this game can be very challenging. There are over 120 levels in the game, each one being more difficult than the last.

Texas Hold 'em (retail $10) This may be the junk of the bundle. A poorly executed attempted interface leaves most poker players wondering why they didn't copy any of the popular online poker sites and their interface. Often multiplayer works too slow, while you wait for others to take their turn. There are some scenarios to work on in single player. Overall, it isn't too bad, but it leaves a lot to be desired amongst poker players.

Also included are demos of Uno, Marble Blast Ultra, and Feeding Frenzy.

Uno is the classic card game everyone knows. It translates to Xbox Live very well and is camera enabled. It has a wide variety of gameplay options, including partner play. Marble Blast Ultra is a game in which you try to move your marble around to the exit point. Each level is brilliantly designed, colorful, and challenging. Feeding Frenzy is a great game for all ages, in which you start each level as a small fish, eating other fish and growing as you do so.

If you bought everything in this package for retail price, it would cost you $58. Even if you only need a couple of the $10 games, it's still agreat bargain with the 1 month of Xbox Live for free.

I bought this game just for Texas Hold'em and Geometry Wars, but with the free Xbox live Gold month and Bejewled 2 is a great *CHEAP* addition to any collection. Particularly, I thought Bejeweled 2 was a boring PC game, wich I had played, but it happens to be a lot more fun without a mouse and in a big HD screen with great sound. Wik is a great puzzle game, you have to think thru each level, although it might be less shiny than Eets but its good. The backgammon game is fun in LIVE and with a partner in the same room, of course not for people looking for action and explosions. I haven't played Outpost Kaloki X much, but it's another thinking game, some strategy like the "Something" tycoon games or ye olde good Sim City. In all this are games for thinkers, even Geometry wars in a way, so I recommend this great collection just for those tired of the shooters, races, aliens, etc. or just for the in between battle moments!

Best Deals for Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged

Geometry wars is the main reason I bought this compilation, so it's pretty sweet. Outpost Kaloki X is surprisingly fun as a space tycoon / sim. The other games aren't really worth anything, fun for a little while I suppose.

I bought it for less than $10, so for that price, 2 fun arcade games is pretty nice.

Honest reviews on Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged

Geometry wars, Kaloki X, Wik: Fable of souls, they're all awesome. This is a great value for some casual gaming. I'd buy it again any day. And for >$10, it's a steal. Worth every penny.

The games on this are available for download from XBOX Live (XBL), so if you have already purchased one or more that way it may not be a good value for you.

This went on sale during Christmas 2007 for $7.99 and was an absolute bargain. It includes 1 month of XBOX Live Gold which alone is worth $3.33/month if you average it by the typical cost of $40/year.

I believe most of the games on here run 400 Microsoft Points on XBL or $5 each when you extrapolate the cost of the points. Given that, it is a good deal even at the current list price.

UPDATE: I have read that the XBL 1 month offer is expired. Yes, the date on it is expired. However, I have yet not been able to use an 'expired' XBL code. I purchased an XBL 1 year card and lost it for 2 years... when I found it again (yay) I decided to give it a try even though it was well over a year past expiration. It worked without any issue, just like the 1 month code that came with this game.

It was a good controller. Only problem with this brand/company they do not offer a warranty! I would not recommend purchasing these controllers and paying this kind of money for something that doesnt offer a warranty. Only reason I am giving it 3 stars instead of 5 is because there is no warranty on their controllers to guarantee their quality!

Customer Ratings: 4.5 stars

Those were the first words that came through my mind after playing this game for the first 5 minutes!Wow!!I've played alot of action games, but this is definatly one of the best if not THE best.Being a huge fan of zombie horror, this game never let's down my expectations! There is blood splatter and flying body parts galore. You really have to play Evil Dead to understand how cool this all is.Let me tell you that from the first time you impale a zombie with your roaring chainsaw, you will be hooked!

Also this is definatly NOT a Resident Evil type game.By that I mean you don't just kill a few zombies and then the area is "safe".No,in Evil Dead the zombies keep coming back and you never know when or where they will pop out!Attacks are not just pre-determined;alot of the times they are sadisticaly random with a vengenance. While this may not appeal to some gamers,I thought it was alot more exciting.Another way to look at your countless legions of enemies,is a never ending supply of health,

magic, and most importantly AMMO!The fact that you get rewarded so to speak for killing the undead is a nice touch.

It's not all just killing and violence,(you can do that after you unlock arcade mode!)there is some puzzle solving but it's never really tedious or boring. It really adds to the story, like finding silver to close the diffrent vortexes or rescuing someone before they become a zombie's lunch. The only thing that I didn't like about this however,is that unlike Silent Hill, there

is no map to check point important areas in the game. This ultimatly leads to running around in circles and wasting ammo on zombies you wouldn't have to fight if you just knew were to go!

I did this many times just trying to find the police station, university, last vortex etc. etc. It's better to save your game after you get familiar with the surroundings.

Voice acting was great with Bruce, and his humor is definatly welcome when you are in the middle of a small zombie army. It's hysterical when you hear Ash messing up a magic incantation...

"nortious alumi.... ah crap!"There is also alot of "duke nukem" material with plenty of strip bars and well endowed women(the redhead talk show host!).Also nothing is funnier than fighting a zombie prostitute wearing garters! On a side note, the graphics are

very good and the frame rate is extremely smooth.

What's best about this game is that you can buy it brand new for a VERY REASONABLE price.I was actually kind of shocked!I can't see why anyone wouldn't like this game.Hopefully in the future there will be some god mode cheat codes available;that would make it even better! Now stop reading this and go butcher some zombies!!

I'm not the biggest Evil Dead fan (The only one I can even remember is "Army of Darkness"), but I'd say this is a good game for fans of the series and for fans of horror games in general. In fact, I'd say it's much better than most other horror games.

The controls are pretty easy to use and you'll get the hang of them very quickly. The sound, both in the dialogue and score, is top-notch. Most people don't notice, but some of the background themes (like in Level 4) sound great and add to the visuals. Bruce Campbell is back to do the voice of Ash, and believe me, he does the best job anyone could possibly do. He's always there with hilarious one-liners that keep the game entertaining at all times.

The gameplay is pretty standard. You go through six levels (you even get to go back in time for two of them) solving puzzles and killing deadites. The large selection of weapons was also a nice touch. I won't spoil the story for you, but it's pretty good...good enough to be made into a movie in my opinion. The graphics aren't the best or anything, but they weren't that bad either.

But no game can be without flaws, so it's now time for the bad. The biggest complaint I have is that there's no map or any other kind of indicator to point you in the right direction. It's easy to get lost and it can sometimes take you up to 15 minutes to finally find the place where you're supposed to be. Not only that, but this is one of those games that's impossible to beat without using some kind of guide. The game gives you virtually no hints on how to solve the various puzzles or how to get access to certain areas. This last thing could either be considered good or bad, but the game is also very easy. I'm usally terrible at every game I play, but I was able to beat this in one day (it's not as short as I make it sound...I played it for the majority of the day and for at least six hours). When I fianlly beat the game, I had 6 health packs and 16 save tokens left, that's how easy it is. Although those searching for a bigger challenge might like Arcade mode, which is incredibly hard. Overall, if I liked it, I'm sure this would be an Evil Dead fan's dream.

Best Deals for Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick

All I can say is the Bruce Campbell voice overs are worth the price. The graphics are ok....the story is fun but short. The way it links to the films is awesome, instead of using an old story line. But all in all the price can't be beat,I'm still trying to figure that one out. Add this to your collection if your an Evil Dead/Bruce Campbell fan like me. The guy at the store that I bought it from said he hoped it was good...cause of the price. I said I didn't care.....he said thats what everyone else said who bought one, lol......I got the last one.

Honest reviews on Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick

Its difficult to know how to start this review, as i imagine that you'll have to be an Evil Dead fan to really 'get' this game. If you buy this game as, say, a fan of the horror genre of gaming and with no knowledge of the movie series then you'll probably wind up disappointed.

On the other hand, if you are a fan of the movies then you'll more than likely be absolutely delighted in the latest attempt to bring the old movie classic to the console. Unlike its predecessor 'Hail To The King', this game presents VERY different, almost comic-like characters and settings which i was initially apprehensive about, but the game manages to pull it off. The deadites move in a very exaggerated way, their blood spills as if it was a cartoon, and the cops trying to deal with all hell being let loose are complete retards. But in the end, its all these factors that help the game along. It doesnt ever try to be something its not a quick read about its 'explore in between killing the undead' nature might lead you to think it was a Resident Evil clone but after 2 minutes of play you'll see it for what it is. Its nothing groundbreaking and nothing original, but it certainly holds its own.

One thing i particularly enjoyed about this release and an improvement on the previous game was that the chainsaw no longer needs fuel to work. Once you find it pretty early on in the game you can slice and dice deadites 24/7, and you'll always have atleast 2 weapons at your disposal thanks to the excellent 'two handed' combat system. Aswell as the now trademark 'quip' button (and lets face it this wouldnt be an Evil Dead game without the ability to make fun of your enemies), there are some trademark moves such as the trusty boomstick-over-the-shoulder move.

Unfortunatly the game does have some bad points. You'll constantly be surrounded by buildings and doors but you'll very rarely be able to go inside without blasting a hole in the wall or finding a keycard (just so you can go kill the billion deadites that are waiting for you inside). And the game has some flaws in the logic department, too. For example, on one level you have to get inside a building via a big glass door and you can smash the glass yet you cant go through it unless you actually open the door with the key card, despite the fact theres a massive gaping hole you could easily step through. And also, i imagine Ash to be the type of guy who likes to keep clean so why has he been wearing the same outfit for 3 movies and 2 video games? And, more to the point, why was it ripped in all the exact same places BEFORE he even goes into battle? And why hasnt he had a replacement hand yet? The producers seem determined to stick to the 'movie' ash in term of design but, considering the comical humour of the game, i guess it can be forgiven.

Overall, its tiny flaws aside, this is a game that any Evil Dead fan will love (despite what several website reviews might say) so long as you dont mind the 'serious horror' of the original movie being chucked out of the window for the slapstick style of its sequels. 5 stars.

This game is freakin' sweet. That's all there really is to say about this game.

The story picks up with Ash (voiced by Bruce Campbell!)Watching a show on the Occult, with a Proffesor Embridge discussing the Book of the Dead, which summons the evil spirits seen in the movie trilogy. On TV he plays the infamous tape of Proffesor Knowby which contains incantations from the Book of the Dead. The Deadtites show up, and its up to Ash to find a way to send them back. He enlists Embridge's help, but unfortunetly he has some alterior motives.

The game play on this is fairly tight. Combat with Deadites isn't very hard to learn and the weapons are interesting to say the least. The chainsaw arm is back. Boomsticks galore. Exploding shells add for some interesting effects when hitting a Deadite. The game employs a right hand / left hand combat system and rather good targeting. The camera generally gives good angles though there is the odd occasion where your vision is going to be obscured by the camera taking a weird position.

Level layouts are pretty good, though they require lots of backtracking to pick up items or finding a character. And make sure that the brightness is up on your screen, or you will get lost. Level four in the forest, would be impossible since the setting is so dark that you cannot see the path to the village.

This game is a bit of a guilty pleasure. With all the games out there that contain the same amount of violence, yet take themselves seriously, Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick is a welcome change. It encoperates all the campy fun from the trilogy, and is more fun than creepy, though it can have its moments. Adding Bruce Campbell into the mix makes it all the better. Don't miss a chance to play this game, it's worth the time.

I finally bit the bullet and bought a Wii last week. While buying the Mario/Wii bundle I also bought this game. Being a big Jaws movie fan and owning the previous Jaws game, "Jaws Unleashed" for the PC, I thought it would be fun to play a man-eating shark on the Wii. Well I've been playing it over a week now and can say that overall it is a pretty fun game. Nothing in the Zelda, Mario Bros. realm of "fun", but it's still better than most of the games out there today.

Pros:

Has the actual Jaws song in it (John Williams version) unlike "Jaws Unleashed"

Graphics are pretty decent overall. Lots of blood when biting and attacking other fish/people. Kinda cartoonish which

is why the game is rated "T"....although the 3DS version is rated "M", which boggles me??

Fun to be a shark and eat everything in sight

Doesn't have the extremely hard "search & find" levels like "Jaws Unleashed" had, although some levels are kind of frustrating (you have to bite and drag a person across the surface of the water in one level, which took me awhile to understand)

Easy & fun Wii controls; Guiding the shark through the water and lunging at victims with the Wii remote is fun

Cons:

The fun only lasts for about an hour or so...this game is like a book, where you read a couple of chapters & then put the book down only to pick it up another day to read a couple more chapters

A couple of the levels are somewhat frustrating to understand at first

Doesn't have an "open world" setting like the previous Jaws game did. You CAN swim anywhere you want, but there are some restrictions

Some parts of the game have glitches; The shark became stuck in an underwater reef a couple of times and I had to manually restart the level, but then again I can't think of a game that doesn't have glitches like that.....especially in "Skyrim" (sheesh, now that game has some SERIOUS glitches, haha)

No multiplayer (not that there would be, but I'm sure somebody out there is curious to know)

Overall, this is a good game for the avid Jaws enthusiast or to a person that likes to attack and eat anything in it's path when it comes to playing video games. The controls seem pretty smooth and easy using the Wii remote, not to mention it's fun to command a giant shark around the sea! I probably put about 4hrs into this game so far and it doesn't look like there's an ending any time soon, so that's a good note. Hope this review helps a little bit! ~ Thanks for reading

My son is in love with jaws. He's 9 and a wiz at video games. When we received this game he was ecstatic. It was everything he wanted. Unfortunately he conquered the game in a week. But he loved every minute of it.

I'm only a casual gamer, so I sort of went into Jaws: Ultimate Predator more or less blindly, reading just a handful of so-so reviews beforehand. I played it to completion about 20 levels over a span of 6 to 8 hours and I have mixed feelings about it.

First the good. I really liked the variety of environments the game offers; it isn't just looking at the same old ocean floor over and over again. You have to make your way through alligator infested swamps, bust out of scientific research facilities, scavenge sunken ships, dodge volcanic explosions, and even explore ancient temple ruins. And because your settings change so often, so do the types of enemies you encounter. Barracuda, hammerheads, squids, whales, scuba divers. and even plesiosaurs(!) are just a handful of the creatures that stand in your path towards freedom, and some of them are actually quite challenging and require a certain amount of critical thinking or stealth to overcome. The music is authentic and the sound effects are very realistic which adds to the ambiance. The plot was okay, playing out over a series of cartoonish cutscenes genetic engineering gone corrupt, something something something but I honestly wouldn't think about it too hard, lol.

My main gripe, however, is with the awful controls. You play in a fully free-roaming environment, which sounds great but I'll be gosh darned if I didn't get stuck in every single corner. Since you're playing as a great white shark, you need a somewhat wide berth to get yourself situated, and it just wasn't happening. The camera angle would turn every crazy angle so you couldn't tell up from down, or it might pan above the surface of the water, making you lose track of yourself completely. I met my demise many times simply because I couldn't see anything. (I've considered if maybe this was just me, but a friend who is a more seasoned gamer tried it out and said the same thing.) The combat system, while easy to learn, was iffy at best, despite the numerous upgrades you can unlock. It was slow and unresponsive, which means an enemy could potentially strike you two or three times before Jaws will land even one hit, then he'll go back to being stationary for several seconds waiting to unleash his next hit, even though you've been furiously mashing the A and B buttons the whole time. Meanwhile you're getting pummeled to death. Hence the so-called "combo" system was rendered practically useless, not to mention half his attacks went right through the enemies anyway with no effect. (It didn't bother me so much, but it might be worth noting that there's virtually no blood in the game. The occasional red cloud would pop up for a brief moment here and there, but despite the T rating it definitely has the younger audience in mind.)

So overall the game was an odd mix of fun and frustration. But like I said, I did stick with it to the very end, so it wasn't TOO painful. The shortcomings will make themselves evident soon enough, and it's just up to you to figure out ways around them. If Jaws was a little less clunky and a little more fluid, it would have easily been worth upwards of 4 stars. But as it is, it's a "just okay" adventure game that I don't regret buying for the price I paid, but am in no big hurry to re-play anytime soon, either.

Honest reviews on Jaws: Ultimate Predator - Nintendo Wii

This game is not very good. It almost reminded me of Ecco The Dolphin from years ago on Sega except that was way better than this game. The game play is hard to master and remember with so many different moves. It is very hard to see and you kind of get dizzy trying to figure out where you are. It lacks a lot of things and I would not recommend it.

the 3ds version has blood and people screaming when you kill them.

the wii version has no blood and is boring. the controls are bad...they could have used the wiimote much better than they did...controlling jaws is way to sensitive. makes it hard to control him.

graphics are horrible even for wii standards...cut scenes are just images..the 3ds graphics are great and even more in 3d.

This is one fast-paced FPS. The arcade mode is huge fun for just one player, or two (4-player split-screen is best) . It has lots of different game types (death match, team death match, capture the bag, team capture the bag, shrink, flame tag, virus, loose change, vampire, assault, gladiator and monkey assistant, a death match in which the player with the lowest score has a squad of monkeys with guns to help out) and a ton of different characters to choose from. Sgt. Cortez, Riot Officer, Sewer Zombie, Lady Jane, Mister Giggles, Gingerbread Man, Jungle Queen, Duckman Drake, Snowman and Monkey are only a few of them. There is also a challange mode that has you smashing stain glass windows with a grenade launcher one minute and fending off endless hordes of zombies the next. The story mode is not very interesting, but it is fun to play 2-player co-op.

I love the TimeSplitters series. You get to go through all sorts of periods of time from modern space times to ancient times blasitng away at the bad guys.

There are a TON of weapons available on each level, each more fun than the previous one. You can single and double wield depending on the weapon type. As you move along your route, you get checkpoints, to keep your progress going. There are enemies with invisibility cloaks, turrets to blast away from, and MUCH more.

The comparisons with Halo are inevitable especially in the modern time scenes. In many ways this is a great comparison, given how popular and well-designed Halo is. You get plasma grenades that stick to people, teammates that cover you, and generally good graphics. The cloaked characters give you just a hint of dark cloud to watch for.

The lead guy is very XXX-style and reluctantly goes on his time-hopping adventures. The voices are reasonably good not great, but not really awful either.

The textures in the locations aren't great but they're reasonable. There are details like worn wooden chairs and patches on the walls. The health and shield bars only appear when you're injured. I'd like it better if they were always on the screen in a corner, less annoying.

It's especially fun in co-op mode, taking on the bad guys with a friend. Multiplayer is GREAT fun the collection of maps is amazing, and you can even make your own!

Some of the dialogue is really funny, and in general it's a shoot-em-up game with a wide variety of weapon choices, locations and enemies.

Well recommended!

I have this on PS2 but you cant get it on here or something. This is probably my favourite game of all time it is just mad! The characters are great my favorites are (the ones I play as most) Sgt.Cortez, Capt.Snow, Capt.Forest, Riot Officer and Braces. the story mode is fantastic with about 10 levels first is Siberia set in 199o which is an easy level. Next is Chicago in 1930's where you have to go through the streets help Marco(who takes ages) get back to his apratment without being shot, get the nightclub pass and go to the club to kill Big Tony which is easy cuz I get double tommy guns from the entrance and jsut kill him. next is Notre dame which is good where you have to go through a church killing zombies. Then is Planet X which is where you have to kill these aliens or something. then neo Tokyo which is bare hard cause you have to follow this hacker to there base without being seen by the security cameras in the street cause you are being chase by coppas for some reason. then wild west which is bare easy and you have to kill the colonel. Atom Smasher is in 1972 you play as Harry tipper and have to go through khallos compund(or somethin) and kill all the henchmen and them him, it is very hard. Aztec ruins is hard cause you have to kill these stone golems which is hard. Robot factory is pretty hard. The last level Space Station set in 2401 is great cause you have to get out of there before it blows up.

ow the weapons there is Garret revolvers, soviet 47's, Tactcial 12 gauge, snipers, minguns, shotguns, Rocket launchers, homing launchers, mines and other sick weapons.

there is a whole load of characters about 55 it takes ages to get em all so beware. there is many arcade modes to do, Deathmatch, team Deathmatch, Capture the bag, Flametag, gladiator and other modes. the arcade levels are tight.

Honest reviews on TimeSplitters 2

Timesplitters 2 is an amazing game and very fun to play for many reasons, one of them being the game has soo many characters you can play as in multiplayer mode! A large amount of these characters have to be unlocked, and it's no easy task to do so, but you'll have a lot of fun collecting them all--or just get extremely frustrated in some cases.

The story mode is good, and some levels are more fun than others. Each level takes place in a different time period. One level you'd be in the past, the next in the future somewhere. Some of my favorite levels to play are:

Siberia

Notre Dame

Neo Tokyo

Wild West

The weapons are terrific and there are loads to use! You can even unlock bricks to use as a throw weapon.

There is more to this game than just the Story mode. With most games, all they have is Story and Multiplayer, and nothing more. But in Timesplitters 2 you can play the Challenges and Arcade League games, and depending on how well you did on the games, you'll get bronze, silver, gold, and maybe even platinum trophies! Arcade League and Challenge is also the main way to unlock new maps, weapons, fun cheats, and characters.

It can be boring playing a game by yourself sometimes, and if you have no one around that wants to play with you there is an option where you can turn on BOTS! Although bots can't replace a real person, it's a big plus that they have bots that you can play against. I absolutely hate it when a game doesn't have a bot option.

TM2 has a lot of game modes to play, such as Capture the bag, bag tag, deathmatch. My absolute favorite game mode is Virus. In Virus, you are supposed to try and evade the infected (those surrounded in green fire) for as long as possible, and if you do get infected you are then supposed to infect others.

The game is fun but does have one frustrating bot issue. If you have the game set to free-for-all don't be fooled and assume it's every man for himself. It's more like every bot against you. Seriously! The bots literally hunt you down and gang up on you. It doesn't matter if there are other bots in the same room. They will ignore the others and take you out together. Another thing that is kinda unfair is that the bots can dive but you can't... so while they roll and dodge your attacks, all you can do is move from side to side.

Overall, I enjoy playing this game and would recommend it if you are looking for a fun and addicting game.

Ive found when I make people play this game with me theere is 1 of 2 responses. This game is awsome or this game sucks. Frankly I think its awsome, maybe my favorite shooter out there. No the graphics arent excellent but who cares? I dont play games for the graphics. And maybe the storyline isent flowing, not in depth and very vauge. But again, do I care? Nope. The single player missions are awsome for what they are. The game really has some great music. The tunes always get stuck in my head, I even downloaded some and listen to them on my computer. But the game isent about solo missions or music, its about the arcade mode and the multiplayer. Forget Halo 2 multiplayer. This multiplayer is way more hardcore and fast paced. No matter how good you are, you wont go through a match without dying at least once. There are countless of multiplayes characters to unlock also, anything from a gingerbread man, to a mob bose, to a SWAT member and all points in between. The arcade mode features tons of different scenarios to beat. They all offer rewards if you beat it with silver or better. My favorite part though is the map maker. Ive made over 50 maps that my friends and I still use. My favorite scenario when creating a map is capture the bag. I recomend renting this game first. Like I said, if you dont love it straigt off, you never will so dont dont bother buying it.
