A Side note: I wont be re-hashing the many many reviews that you can find on the Current Gen Xbox 360 Hardware, as there are plenty of those out there for you to make a decision.

The Annual Holiday bundles are an amazing value. For the same price as the same spec system (amount of memory, Kinect included or not) you get the same system with 2 games. This year, for the 250GB model, they are including a Voucher to Download Skyrim. Important to know and keep in mind if your internet is slow, limited, etc. It also includes Forza 4 Essential Edition. I am not much of a racing game player, so I am not sure if that is what the normal version of the game is called, or if that is a special, some what limited version of the game. You also get the 1 month of Xbox live Gold, 1 wireless controller, and 1 wired headset. It does NOT include an HDMI cable, but instead comes with a set of Composite cables. Some thing to keep in mind, and if you need cables, buy from Amazon AmazonBasics High-Speed HDMI Cable (3 Feet/0.9 Meter) Supports Ethernet, 3D, and Audio Return [Newest Standard], or at least online. Any brick and mortar store will cost far more for a cable.

The takeaway is this, if you are looking to get a Xbox anyway, and are even slightly interested in either or both of these games, there is no reason not to get the bundle.

First of all let me say that this is an amazing deal. For the same price as the system without games you can have two games. Skyrim is the great game you have all heard it was. Those without a high speed internet connection may be a little peeved that it is only a download. The warning is concerning the other game--Forza 4. The copy that comes with this bundle is dubbed the "Essentials Edition." What this means is that the game is the same as the copy you can buy new except with 214 less cars than with the full game. You still have 320 cars and from the best I can tell the rest of the game is intact. This probably should not be a dealbreaker for most of you however as even without Forza, the Xbox 360 with the Skyrim download is still a great deal in itself. I wholeheartedly recommend this bundle.

It's a slim X360 with a price cut. Nothing new to add, so here's this bundle's fine print:

1) Forza 4 ESSENTIALS EDITION. It comes with fewer cars than Forza 4 (320 as opposed to 500+ish). Not sure if all the tracks are included.

2) Skyrim is a digital download, so you're s--out of luck if you were planning on selling the game.

3) It's 1 month of free Xbox LIVE Gold, not 3.

4) Get your own HDMI cable, this box doesn't have one.

5) Get a rechargeable controller battery, this box doesn't have one. AA batteries are so 1997.

Basically, Amazon needs to get the product description right. Other than that, it's nice to finally join the 360 party, especially now that the back catalog's best games can be bought dirt cheap on the used market.

Honest reviews on Xbox 360 250GB Holiday Value Bundle

Bought this to replace my old elite, Microsoft was going to charge me $120 to repair it so I decided to splurge and get this. Hard to pass up a deal like this. The 250gb console alone is $299.

With this you get Forza, not the complete game I guess (doesn't come with all the cars), but for a free game beggars can't be choosers. Downloadable copy of Skyrim, which won many game of the year awards last year. I also got TWO months of xbox live gold with mine, I noticed other reviewers saying they got one, I don't know if I got lucky or what but I ended up with two one month trial codes in mine. Also comes with one month trial of HULU and Epix. Only thing bad about this is it doesn't come with an HDMI cable. If you are looking to upgrade or replacing your old 360, this is the deal to get!

Ok so here it is, the bundle is the only way to go, why get the 4GB at the same price when you can get the 250GB, the Game forza is amazing it might not be the "full" version but it is still worth it, as for the skyrim download i don't know yet, but as i said for the money this bundle is really worth it for the $250.00....

A lot of the reviews here criticize this game for being difficult. I have this to say to that: DUH! Games are supposed to be difficult if they are going to be fun, right? If it were too easy, it might as well be a movie, right? (Though I hear that they are working on that :D)

Abe's Oddysee, as well as its sequels, have a few things in common that make them truly amazing:

1. Beautiful environments. I mean absolutely stunning. The artists working on this game capture an alien landscape with true finesse. There are a few times I just stop and gaze into the distance.

2. Great storyline, with characters to match. It's silly, but not so silly that it masks the anti-industrialist message. The game is something of a metaphor opposing clear-cutting and mass-species-extinction.

3. Refreshing style of play. It breaks from standard games by not having a life bar (one shot death in most cases), but that's balanced by having unlimited lives. Sure the puzzles are hard. Very hard. If you're up to the challenge, the rewards are soooo worth it.

Happy gaming, folks! This is a gem that shouldn't be missed.

What can I say? I absolutely love this game, and you will too. The humor can be sophomoric and grotesque, but that's really one of the appeals. The entire game revolves around solving puzzle after puzzle to rescue your coworkers from a factory where you and your kind are processed into food items. There's never a dull moment as you maneuver the many levels and challenges that always keep you guessing and on your toes. And did I mention how much fun it is? Goofy characters, a smart interaction with those you are trying to rescue, including learning how to properly speak to them, and fantastic landscapes are visual and mental candy.

WHEEL OF FORTUNE!!! Now it is on the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS. Also, for the first time ever, you can play along with host Pat Sajak. Never before has Pat Sajak been on a Wheel of Fortune video game. Also, his voice is there along with Vanna White and the announcer Charlie O'Donnell. Also, do not worry about getting confused. Charlie O'Donnell, Pat Sajak, and Vanna White all tell you step-by-step how to play the game, whether you are using Wii Speak or not. Please make note of that, you do NOT need Wii Speak to play this exicting game. All Wii Speak enables you to do is play the game by calling out the letters and solving the puzzles using your voice, just as if you were in Culver City, California in Sony Pictures Studios on the actual show.

Now, I have been to a WheelMobile event. I have multiple Wheel of Fortune games. I have played the Wheel of Fortune games for the following systems:

-Super Nintendo Entertainment System

-Various CD-ROM games (there have been more than one Wheel of Fortune game made for the PC or MAC).

-Wheel of Fortune Plug-n-Play

-Handheld Wheel of Fortune game

-Wheel of Fortune board game

Out of that list, the one that comes closest to giving you as much fun as Wheel of Fortune for the Nintendo Wii is the Wheel of Fortune Plug-n-Play because you can literally spin the wheel. However, there are no people on the game whatsoever (nobody at all, not even Vanna White).

Now, here is what I really love about this game. It is literally to the show. After Pat and Vanna come out, you start with a toss-up puzzle worth $1,000. Don't worry, they explain during the game how to play the toss-up puzzle, so you don't even need the instruction manual. Then, after the first toss-up is complete, Pat Sajak has you do another toss-up worth $2,000 and the right to start the first round. After that toss-up is complete, Charlie O'Donnell explains about the Jackpot because it is the Jackpot Round and he explains about what trip is being put on the wheel. Now it is Round 1. They explain how to spin the wheel, purchase a vowel for $250.00, or solve the puzzle. If you are playing without Wii Speak, do not worry. They give you plenty of time to pick your letters or fill in the puzzle if you are solving it.

Finish round one. Pat Sajak goes over to the winner and congratulates him or her. Then he announces that you are going to commercial. There are exciting games to play during the commercials. I want to leave them as a surprise because they are that much fun.

Now you are at Round 2. The only exciting thing about Round 2 is, like Round 1, the following is on the wheel:

-The trip Charlie O'Donnell talked about

-The Wild Card

-The "Free Play" wedge

-The "$1,000,000" wedge in between the two bankrupts

Also, round two or round three could be a "Prize Puzzle." This means that whoever solves the puzzle will win an exciting trip and the value of the trip will be added to your score.

Round 3 is the "Mystery Round." The Mystery Wedges are worth $1,000 for every consonant that appears but behind one of the 2 Mystery Wedges is a $10,000 cash prize. Behind the other is a Bankrupt. Will you go for it or play it safe?

After round 3, Pat Sajak has you do the last toss-up valued at $3,000. Then you finish the game until the Final Spin where Pat gives the wheel a spin and each consonant is worth $1,000 plus whatever he lands on, so if he lands on the $5,000 wedge, each consonant is worth $6,000. The vowels are free of charge during the Final Spin.

Then, whoever has the highest score goes on to the Bonus Round. If you have the Million Dollar Wedge, you could be playing for $1,000,000! Otherwise you are playing for a measly $100,000 (lol). You spin the bonus round wheel. Then you have to solve the bonus round puzzle. Pat Sajak gives you the letters R,S,T,L,N, and E. Then you get to pick three consonants and one vowel. If you have the Wild Card with you, you get to pick four consonants and one vowel. Then you get a good amount of time to solve the puzzle, or you could just click on give up.

So, there is my review. I give this game 9 out 10 stars! Go out and get this game. I would pay $50.00 for this game, so it is a steal at $30.00. Plus, it has the theme music. What more could you want!

It's Wheel of Fortune as it should have been ages ago! It's America's Game! Let's play Wheel of Fortune!

Also, I think the Mii Pat Sajak and the Mii Vanna White are dating!!!

I don't regret buying the game from Amazon for $27.99, but wouldn't have been happy to have paid fify as was the selling price at several online sites I checked out before here. The one good thing is that it is suppose to have over 8,000 puzzles and I imagine that it uses the memory on the Wii to keep track of what you've seen and not seen.

It does give WAYYYY too much time to solve puzzles and any player can sit and wait forever while making up his mind whether to spin, solve or buy a vowel. It does need improvement, but it is worth thirty bucks and you will have some fun. Me and my family set a rule that you have to have integrity and honesty on the pop-up puzzles, because once you ring in that you know a toss up puzzle, you then have fifty seconds to solve it and if you have three people, that's a lot of waiting if someone doesn't know it and wants to cheat. We also set a time limit of like five seconds in between deciding whether to spin, solve or what have you.

So to sum it up, you'll enjoy it but I hope the maker of the game makes some adjustments.

Just a tip for anyone who may read this: If you go to Wheel of Fortune's official website, you can download a trial game from "GameHouse" with sixty minutes of play time and the game cost ten bucks to buy after that. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE OFFICIAL GAME FROM THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE WEBSITE. That game is only one player and the second day of playing, several puzzles began repeating. It is also a hangman style game in that if you miss five times, game over. I would expect much more from the WOF website.

I was so excited to hear that Wii was coming out with this game. I waited to read a few reviews before buying it and the reviews were all positive so I bought it and couldnt be happier!

This game is exactly like the the game show. It's a lot of fun to playeven alone.

I'd 100% reccommend this game.

Honest reviews on Wheel of Fortune - Nintendo Wii

I purchased this for my wife who likes to watch the tv show every night. Seeing how that most game show ports are mediocre at best, we rented this before purchasing. But I'd say you can go right out and purchase this one.

The game is just like the tv show and it's tons of fun!

The characters, voices, and game play are just like the show.

Where the commercial breaks would normally occur you can play puzzle mini-games which are also quite fun.

For those who wouldn't want to play the mini games, there is an option to disable this.

You can choose your Mii characters to play and their expressions when they win or lose are hilarious!

Overall a very fun game and with thousands of puzzles, you should be enjoying this for years to come.

I purchased this game after buying and liking the Jeopardy WII game put out by the same publisher. This game is very true to the actual game show and has all of the current Wheel of Fortune rules, which depending on perspective is either good or bad.

You begin the game with 2 toss-up puzzles. The first is worth $1000, the second is worth $2000 and control of the wheel for the first puzzle. You then have three puzzles to complete, one of which will be the prize puzzle.

In between the puzzles are mini games which you play to win extra outfits, prizes, and opportunities for new set designs. There are 3 different mini games. One gives you the letters RSTLNE and then 4 other letters guessed by an actual contestant from the past, and either player can ring in to guess the puzzoe. Another mini game is high low. Each player spins the wheel and Vanna calls out either high or low. The player whose spin is either the highest or lowest gets the first chance to solve the mini game puzzle. The last mini game allows each player to alternate choosing 3 consonants and 1 vowel. Whoever gets the most letters turned over on the board gets the first chance to guess the puzzle.

After those 3 puzzles and mini games, there is another toss up puzzle and whoever wins gets to begin the final round. There is always a total of 3 plays allowed in the final round before the bell rings and Pat tells you time is up and he gets to give the wheel a final spin. Then whoever wins gets to participate in the bonus round.

This game stays very true to the game...there is the Jackpot space on the board, the million dollar space, and the 1000 question mark where you can flip it over for a chance at 10,000 or a bankrupt. There is also a Free Play and a Wild Card which if kept can be used for an extra consonant during the bonus round. It is fun to use the different set designs once they are unlocked. They are well done...they are Hawaii, Las Vegas, Hollywood, Washington D.C., and New York City.

Since the game has dropped the ball so badly with Wii Speak, we don't even bother and play this using only Wiimotes which actually work better than one would expect.

We thoroughly enjoy this game, and I recommend it, but it is not perfect so here are the complaints my husband and I have with it:

For the majority of the games, the outcome is based solely on who wins the round with the prize puzzle...usually you win about 15 grand if you win that round which is hard to compete with.

You land on Bankrupt and Lose a Turn much more than you statistically should...we have kept track and we have never gone more that 5 spins without a Bankrupt or Lose a Turn and we have played over 30 games. We each average about 7 bankrupt spins per person per game. There is not a lot of control over spinning the wheel. You push the b button and there is a power meter and you swing the remote when you have the power you want, but it is definitely not an exact science and it is all luck. You aren't even able to watch the wheel the whole time it spins as it flashes you to views of the set, Vanna, and the contestants. I think the game developers secretly made it that way to toy with the players ;)

As others have mentioned, you are allowed 60 seconds to guess a puzzle which gets super cheap. You can ring in without knowing a toss up puzzle and you have 60 seconds to try and figure the puzzle out if you didn't know it. You also have 60 seconds per turn in the final spin puzzle which gets annoying as my husband hits solve each time he calls out a letter so I have to watch him spend 60 seconds each turn figuring it out. Also, before you choose to spin, buy a vowel, or solve there is no time limit at all so one can stare at the puzzle for an eternity trying to guess if they so choose. This is mildly aggravating, but I still find the game fun and it isn't annoying enough to be a deal breaker.

All in all, this is a very well done game. The graphics and Miis are great and the set design is amazing. I highly recommend it and hope that if they put out another game in the future that it will employ the usage of a Mii Speak type device correctly.

The game was great, my 3 year old played all the way through in about 2 hours. But once it's played that's it, nothing new. He now plays through in less than 30 minutes. It keeps his attention, but he's 3. I thought it was thought provoking and fun, until I finished and then to an adult or older child it's useless. The graphics are wonderful and the idea is too, it just needs more treasures and places to use them. I would recommend it to any Spongebob lover that is under 5 yrs old.

Honest reviews on SpongeBob SquarePants: Employee of the Month - PC

Like all games "Employee of the month" get boring and repetitive over time but rather than many replays and then getting boring, you will beat this game once (MAYBE twice) and then get bored with it.

the graphics are really good, colorful, and fun to look at.

the levels are fun but like i said only once (MAYBE twice)

I have one complaint: This game is too short. There are 4 different Bikini bottom locations that Spongebob must go through but these aren't LONG levels, you could beat each one in 10 minutes once you get good and even 20 minutes for your first time (it's really easy OVERALL)

the folowingstory synopsis should explain more.

SYNOPSIS:

SpongeBob wins the 'Employee of the Month' award again, so Mr. Krabs decides to name him the 'Employee of the Year'. He then receives some mail 2 tickets to Neptune's Pacific Paradise (usually called Neptune's Paradise in the game). He gives them to SpongeBob for winning the 'Employee of the Year' award. And that's where everything begins.....

Spongebob has to collect some money to board the bus (Level 1 objective) and then when the bus gets stranded in rock bottom you'll have to work to fight your way out of RB only to get stranded in 3 other levels/locales. Finally though, Spongebob is rewarded when he makes it to park of his dreams.

Overall: I recommend this game to BIG Spongebob game junkies and other than that i'd have to recommend that you stay away from this game and get "Battle for Bikini Bottom" for Playstation 2, Gamecube, or XBOX (the PC version sucks)

"Employee of the Month" is FUN, but is REALLY short and you can beat it in 45 minutes (NO JOKE). I played it my first time and beat it completely in 90 minutes over a period spanning 2 days. my second time i played it, I beat it in 45 minutes and enjoyed it far less.

We received a preview copy of Disney's Universe for the Xbox 360. I played the game with my eight year-old son and it was a blast. It reminded me a lot of Super Mario titles with cooperative play and coin collecting. The costumes were very cute and the levels, all based on Disney films, were inventive and charming. The co-op play was a little frenetic and we had to really cooperate in order to defeat the enemies, solve the puzzles and keep grabbing coins. I asked my son to write this review. These are his words;, I only typed them.

You're supposed to defeat levels and get costumes. It is really fun. I liked the TRON suit the best. You are supposed to do the objectives. They pop up on the screen so you know what to do. You had to build cannons in some levels and move the fire around. For instance, you use the cannon to shoot the bridge pieces and make them fall down so you can go across. When you do all the objectives, the exit shows up and you have to go through it to win the level. You have to collect all the Mickey coins. You buy worlds and things with the Mickey coins. By the way, the worlds cost 2000 Mickey coins. You have to defeat all three levels in a world to get enough money to buy the next world.

Hint: Always use keys to open the chest. A star pops out which levels up your character and your weapon.

I think that kids that like to play video games will like this game. Disney Universe is like Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. I played the Pirates of the Caribbean level, Monsters INC, Wall-E levels. I can't wait to play more.

We have a 9 year old girl and 6 year old boy, and we enjoy gaming in our family. We have iPod touches, Nintendo DS's and an Xbox 360 with Kinect. A good family friendly video game in general can sometimes be difficult to find but this one is pretty solid.

There are six worlds which include Alice in Wonderland, Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, Monsters Inc, Alladin, and Wall-E. Each world has three levels with enemies to defeat, coins to collect and puzzles to figure out. The play is actually quite similar to the Lego series but much easier since the game gives you the objectives as well as hints. For difficulty comparison, my husband and I get called for help on various Lego stages but my kids had no problems figuring out how to pass each level and eventually beating Disney Universe on their own.

1 to 4 players can play which is a nice option. There is also a mini game within each level where you compete with the other players. Of course, the best feature is the ability to unlock a huge variety of costumes for your character from all of the worlds as well as other notable Disney names such as Mickey, Nemo and Tron. There is also downloadable content available for additional costumes and levels.

Overall, the game is a whole lot of fun for kids. Mine were cracking up the entire time.

Well, to begin this review, I must allow you to know that I am a disney fanatic that is in college. So this review may be a bit biased, but I'll try to avoid this.

I began by playing the pirates of the caribbean stage which is unlocked from the get-go. If you are playing this title by yourself, you may get bored. But, when you play with 1-3 more people, it gets very interactive. Each world has three levels, and there are things to collect in each level. Most collectibles that you snag in levels will be unlocking concept art, which I was not too interested in.

There are characters to unlock in each world. Each world holds 6 characters. By beating the world once, you will get 3 of them. If you play the world again you will get the remaining three.

So far, my favorite character is hercules, which I earned by preordering this title.

Pros:

Excellent with other people

Unlocking characters will cause you to keep playing

Great background

Minigames were creative

Cons:

Levels can get tedious

Pretty Easy

After unlocking character, you have to pay for them using coins you gathered in worlds

The most fun in this game came from unlocking characters and throwing teammates off edge.

I'm overall pleased with this game!

Honest reviews on Disney Universe - Xbox 360

I bought this game specifically so I could have a game that my daughter (7) and I could play together.

The game is somewhat easy, but the puzzles do make it difficult for a child to play by themselves, unless they spend a lot of time playing games.

If you are buying this for a child 8 or under, I would suggest having an adult play with them. If the child is good at games, and likes the disney characters than you may be able to go a bit younger.

One feature that is great is being able to unlock new characters, plus you get three for free from ordering from Amazon.com :)

I've been a gamer for 30+ years and am really excited to share the fun with my children. There aren't too many games out that both new and seasoned gamers can enjoy together. We had a blast with this one. My son (4 yrs old) really handled the controls well and loved unlocking the costumes. A couple puzzles required some help from me or his older sibling. But otherwise he could play alone with ease. I enjoyed collecting all of the "coins" and getting all of the collectables per level. A lot of fun, pretty weak story line, good graphics and sound. We beat the game playing casually over 2 weeks.

The game arrived in excellent conditions. I am a F1 fan from about 13 years, and have enjoyed this game a lot. The transition from dry weather to wet weather is huge, and the game demands your focus in every inch of the circuit, like I assume it is in real live. It is a difficult and so much precision game, so for gamers that like a more arcade approach, this is not your game.

Wow....I just finished beating the game and it was quite a thrill ride!! It's got drama, suspense, fighting and PUZZLES!! Oh, the puzzles!! Makes me feel like a kid on an easter egg hunt! My particular faves were the cryptography puzzles...Brings back memories of when I was a child...Where I lived in a place where the invasion of my diary (or anything private) was never a question of 'if' but 'WHEN', so I came to learn cryptography all TOO quickly (before I even learned there was a name for it, matter of fact).

These puzzles aren't brainbusters mind you, but it gives your mind a brisk little workout. Be advised: keep a notepad beside you as you'd most likely need it (to store clues as you play). And for those whose brainpower's a little on the flabby side: keep ASPIRIN handy.

In case you might wonder why I don't give this game a perfect 5:

The movements on this game can be a bit of a problem...For instance, if you may walk up to a door (which requires a key) and attempt to unlock it with your key, it MAY NOT work, which sends you on an exasperating search of the area for what to do next since that "apparently" isn't it...Out of desperation/curiosity/frustration you happen to try the door w/ key again and IT WORKS?? Why didn't it the 1st time?? Not a worry if it happened once, but it to me happened several times throughout the game. The other thing is, how you can pore over vast expanses of houses, buildings etc. with many rooms going, inch by inch only to realize there was 1 item to find?? And having your partner walk so close to you can really aggravate you sometimes (like if you're trying to make a sneak attack on an enemy or even WALKING OUT THE DOOR!!) Or walking for (seemingly) miles to your next objective only to have go way out of your way (again) just to fetch ONE item that you need to proceed (like at Westminster Abbey)...That can be a bit tedious....But then again, if the dots were close enough together, there'd be no mystery to solve, right?

So, for a stimulating change from the mindless, all-too-common BUTTON-MASHER games out there, The Da Vinci code is the one you may have been waiting for...

...It may even interest people who are not normally interested in playing video games, it's just that appealing and engaging.

I havent gotten very far into the game, and i have to admit i did have to cheat and go online for some help in some of the puzzles. Honest reviews on Da Vinci Code - Xbox

I enjoyed this game, all in all it had some issues but they are easily overlooked and I've seen far worse. I wish we would see more games of this kind, reminiscent of "Syberia" and "Post Mortem" on the PC. Keeping this short and concise, The graphics were above average, the music was fitting and engrossing and the challenge is worthwhile. The replay value is only to challenge the Hard difficulty if nothing else. I also thought the combat system was fitting and intuitive but a bit unpolished. If you loved the book and or the movie then I think it's worth the money to buy this gem and relive it all over again and with some new twists.

Being a huge fan of the book and now the movie, I was excited about this game. The puzzles were too easy for the most part. Only one or two had me for any length of time, if I could call it that because I beat this game in about 6 or 7 hours. I would have liked to see difficulty levels. I feel like I played this game on the easiest setting. Now don't get me wrong I did like this game a lot. There are many good things about this game. The minor deviations from the book were great...The location renders were awesome...I think I spent at least an hour just wondering around, looking at things, not really trying to solve the puzzles presented. All and all I would recommend renting it instead of buying it because the time it took to finish didn't merit the money spent.
