The description says "This even lets you use your wireless 360 controller on a PC for your PC games". This is a lie. No data can transmit from the xbox controller to the usb port. While the wire will charge your wireless controller, it will not work as promised allowing you to play video games with it on your pc. I have checked both human devices under the control panel, and i have ran joy.cpl. This cable will NOT transfer information.

If you were buying this like I was, to use your xbox controller on your PC, then DON'T BUY IT. It will not work. Yes my usb port was powered, yes I installed the drivers. I feel I have been scammed.

The title says it all. The quality of the cable is just as good as anything Microsoft would make. The only problem is that it is approximately 6' long means you have to sit pretty close to your Xbox. While you could move the actual Xbox closer to where you are sitting, I think that most users prefer to keep their unit in a single location.

This said, the price is right and you can most certainly charge your controller when you are not using it. This would enable you to use your controller in "cordless" mode later on. All in all, I would buy this again if I had the need for one.

It charges my battery, even after turning off my Xbox. The cord is about half the length than one I got with my Play & Charge kit. I can't complain since the cost was about 10 times cheaper. I'm happy with my purchase.
