This is not only protective, but it looks awesome too! My friends came over and just stared at it, trying to figure out what it was until I explained and got a flurry of compliments on it. They all wanted one too! The colors are bright and vibrant and really make it stand out, plus the controlled hook on the side is handy as well. Also, it's very easy to install. I wanted a way to protect my gaming system that I had gotten for christmas, were not rich and I am disabled and now I can protect my system and have somewhere safe to keep my controller...too bad it doesnt keep the games protected too! lol
