I play COD MW3 and I heard about these little guys and thought they were a gimmick, but Something made me try them. I bought this pack because I wanted to see which one works better for me since I mostly use AR's. I put the original FPS freek on my right stick and haven't taken it off since. ALMOST EVERY SINGLE ROUND I RECEIVED THE MOST HEADSHOT REWARD. I was flabbergasted. The trick to these: you have to turn your sensitivity up high so not only can you spin around like a tornado but you still have precise control over your weapon when lining up a shot. It's beautiful. I would recommend these if you're already a somewhat decent player but just need that little edge to take you over the top.

Let me first start of by saying that I already consider myself an above average player at Call of Duty. I have a 3.8 K/D in Black Ops, and a 2.4 K/D in MW3. This surely isn't amazing but above average.I purchased the FPS Freek Recon because I didn't know which would be better for me: the CQC, or the Original.
FPS FREEK-----------------------------
So I actually received this from my friend a year ago, but I used them once, thought they were stupid, and gave them away. A couple months later, I realized that my analog sticks were very slippery, and I felt the need for grips.
This takes getting used to. I approximately took 3 or 4 hours to finally get the hang of it.
What the FPS Freek does is that it extends the analog stick, so that if you are playing on a 10 sensitivity, you will be able to move the stick more precisely. I was originally playing on a 6 sensitivity, but I have upped it to 8 with this purchase.
IT DOES NOT MAKE YOU A BETTER PLAYER! It basically just gives you the opportunity to spin like a tornado, and move precisely at the same time.
By the way, for the PS3 controller, it touches the D-PAD at times, but not too big of a deal.
It definitely adds grip to the stick. The CQC is better if you're just looking for grip.
FPS FREEK CQC----------------------------
These definitely feel better to use if you're looking for "grip". They are flatter, which means they will not change your game too much.
