Pros
The thumbsticks are super smooth and click with authority.
The rb and lb also click with nice feedback.
The flat top a,b,x,y buttons are great (might not be for everybody but I like them)
Soft touch coating feels amazing.
The tumbsticks light up 3 different colors! (impractical but very cool nonetheless)
Cons
The dpad could be better but it works fine.
Placement of the extra buttons makes them a little difficult to use.
If you are looking for a good wired replacement controller I would highly recommend this one.

Everything good that people say about this is true. It's lightweight, responsive, the customizable LED lights look great. Never needs re-charging. I like that because it's an x-box controller it has a breakaway cable so my motherboard doesn't get destroyed when my dogs run bye, or anyone else for that matter. The rubber on the analog sticks and side-grips feels nice. The buttons are solid, the d-pad feels much better than a 1st party x-box controller, as do all four triggers. The analog sticks are kinda light, that's not really a gripe, but I wish they felt a but more solid, however, because of this I think it gains responsiveness. It's the best for twitch gaming. I've played a lot of games with it now including Assassin's Creed 3, Hitman: Absolution, Deadlight, and I even played in the Firefall beta (1st and 3rd person shooter/MMO). It's absolutely perfect. PLUG AND PLAY on Windows 7. Drivers download and load right up. No work whatsoever! ...Now wouldn't it be a better world if everything was the same way? I've had mine for 2 weeks and everything feels exactly like it did upon unboxing. The mappable back buttons are responsive and have a nice light click, it's good to have the ability to map those, being that a lot of PC games have more complicated or numerous control schemes. I'm not crazy about the blue color, and I wish I had black (I just think it looks nicer, personally. Especially since the LED colors are yellow, red, and lime green. They just don't look good in contrast. That's a purely aesthetic preference. It was the last one Gamestop had though, and I had to have it right then and there. The reason I agree so heavily with the positive reviews of each feature is that I checked the Amazon reviews in the store and put my faith in every positive (and negative) thing I read. The negative reviews are completely off-base. That is, except for the DOA ones...which happens to even the best of companies, even for the best computer hardware. That said...I worked at Gamestop for years and have been an avid gamer all my life. The rule was NEVER, I mean NEVER EVER, buy MadCatz anything. By official or the Logitech(huge Logitech fan here) was always the only safe bet. Brand new MadCatz controllers, among other things, were being returned left-and-right on the same day (It was such a pain in the butt shipping those defected peripherals back to the warehouse). Well, apparently they have quality tiers and this is the Cadillac-Level tier, OR they stepped up their game in a big way. Okay, I'm off to play Xenoblade Saga on my Wii emulator with my favorite controller I've owned. Time to see how well it handles JRPGs, I'd be willing to bet anything that it will do just fine.
Hope this helped you...and Game On!
Best Deals for Xbox 360 Officially licensed F.P.S. Pro Wired GamePad
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Historically, I haven't always been a fan of Mad Catz products. In the past I've found their controllers to be bulky with poor ergonomics and features I'd rarely use. This one is an exception.
For starters, it slips into your hand as comfortably as official Xbox 360 controllers -even has non-slip grips to help them stay firmly in hand -and yet feels somehow more sturdy. One guesses this controller could take a beating. This controller feels good.
The analog sticks and buttons are all placed identically to the official controller, and each are just as responsive. The triggers have been tweaked, and for the better. They're not as large, meaning faster response when shooting, zooming, etc. The bumpers are better placed, too, putting them in easier reach and again helping improve response times.
Buttons on the back allow you to remap controller settings on the fly. A solid feature, thought not one I use often.
The LED lights under the analog sticks are pretty, but that's pure style over substance. I keep them off.
I've played through RPGs, shooters, arcade games and racing games with this controller and have been pleased all around. If you're in need of a replacement, this is recommended.
Honest reviews on Xbox 360 Officially licensed F.P.S. Pro Wired GamePad
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The FPS Pro for the XBOX 360 is officially licensed and is a nice, sturdy product. The plastic and rubber is high quality and has a nice feel to it. The joypad is neither to big nor too small and fits well in my medium sized hands. The contours on the back of the pad allow me to comfortably rest my pinky, ring, and middle fingers while I am playing. The two rubberized sections on the sides has some treads(like a tire) so my palm can rest nicely without slipping during heavy gameplay. The pad itself features four shoulder buttons placed horizontally and vertically. The horizontal/vertical layout I found to be intuitive and aids during gameplay.
The two analog sticks are smooth and control well. The choice of four lighted colors below the analog sticks look cool, but also has a function. You can adjust the "Combat" button settings(LSB,RSB,Y,X,A,B) wit a corresponding color to remember the button settings.
The gamepad also comes with a USB cable adaptor to allow you to use this pad for your PC or laptop gaming, very convenient. The only drawback I found with this pad is that the directional pad is a little stiff(not an issue if you mostly use the analog sticks). Otherwise this is a great gamepad that is high quality, responsive during gameplay, and is versatile.
