Not a whole lot to talk about on this product. It's a 16' USB cable, which works as-advertised.I've used this both for extending wired keyboards with high-power requirements (e.g. Logitech G510's) as well as have one permanently installed in cable channel running up to the Kinect. Works great for both uses.
The problems other reviewers are seeing with "incompatibility" with Xbox Kinect systems, is that this will ONLY work for the standalone Kinect model. The standalone kit comes with both a USB cord which connects to your Xbox (you will be extending this part w/ this cable), as well as a power injector. When you buy a bundled system, the power injector does not come with it and the cable will be different. Something to keep in mind! If you've bought your Kinect separately from your XBox, you should be good to go. Otherwise, look elsewhere or buy the Kinect power cable separately for use with this item

Received cable in March but ran into problem with the new tv setup I ordered it for and didn't hook it up until the other day(June). Doa. Subbed out an amazon basics USB extension and everything works great. Too bad I missed the return period. cable works great with kinect. you will have plenty of room with this cable to play in any large room. the connection and reception is very good.
