After purchasing this and doing the download, I made some sort of error with installation of this or another program, and my computer did a restore point, removing it. I was worried that I lost it and would have to repay or the activation key wouldn't work again, but it was no issue to redownload from my games library.

I dumped the PS2 I had ten years ago and never finished Vice City. I am warming back up to gaming and decided to try this on the older laptop I keep plugged into the TV. Its a Win 7-64 Pentium Dual CPU T3200 @ 2 GHz with 4GB RAM and an Intel 4 Series Express Chipset. I know, I'm lucky I can play anything. That said, the game plays fine... just in case you have a POS of your own and you're thinking of trying to play.

I tried to use the keyboard at first, but broke down and got a wireless 360 controller (with Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows and Xpadder to translate the keystrokes since Vice City doesn't recognize Xbox controllers). I still use the mouse for targeting though.

What's to say about the game? Same great game. Maybe I'll get a gaming rig built with a real video card before GTA V is ported to PC in six months or whenever...

I have Lenovo Windows 8 G585 and if that is what you have, this game works well, probably on all Lenovo models! Best game ever, the graphics are AMAZING for a game that was made in 2003! I love it.

Purchased and dowloaded this game on two different computers running XP. It performed well on both, however when I rebooted them, both gave a "missing NTLDR" error message preventing the machines from booting up. I was able to reinstall the missing files on the laptop via an XP disc but had to take the desktop to a technician who was able to boot the machine and reinstall the missing files. Just to assure that this was caused by GTA Vice City I reinstalled the game on the laptop with the same result. So, I won't be installing or playing this game on machines running XP.
