This game uses less players which makes scoring alot easier. This game has less controls and less players on the field which makes for an easier game to play for those of us who don't spend many hours in front the video games on a weekly basis. This game has it's own non realistic aspect too of power ups that make players flip or appear out of no where to intercept a pass. Still this game is fun to play. It's not Madden with all the details, playcalling and scheming, but it's not supposed to be and is way less complicated to play. This game is good for you to play against your children as it's fun but not too hard to play. Don't expect to win though as the power ups take some time to learn.Wednesday, April 2, 2014
Review of Backyard Football 2010 - Xbox 360
Can't find a review anywhere for this game so here I go writing one. First off, the game is fun. In a weird way it reminds me of the old arcade game NFL Blitz. A lot of cheesy fun, power ups, and a simple play selection. The graphics are cartoony but passable. There are some "Glitches" when it shows replays and sometimes the announcer will call an incomplete pass when you really did catch the ball. If you are a serious sports video game guy/girl (Own a Madden anything) this is NOT for you. For me though it was perfect. Something I could play with the kids. Simple and fun like NFL Blitz 99 or 10 Yard Fight (there I dated myself).
