You must be wondering why a heterosexual male software engineer would purchase a "pink" controller for use in a group environment with other heterosexual males.
Reasons:
1) no one else will dare use this controller
2) when I clobber an opponent, it's even more humiliating to them that a pink controller was used
3) I like the shock value
4) chicks dig it (not that many are around, but I'm being proactive)

Whenever anyone comes over to play, this is perfect. Give him the pink controller, and don't let him forget who's in charge.Best Deals for Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Pink
I love the Xbox 360 but it was hard sharing my husband's conroller because he always complained about me draining the batteries in it, lol.So I went and bought me my own, in PINK even! He knows it is mine and he would not be caught dead using it. So I don't have to worry about him draining my batteries, haha.
I had a friend tell me that it was frivolous to get it in pink but I disagree. It works and costs exactly the same as the white ones, so why not shake things up with some color?
The pink is so cute and girly. I really love it!
Honest reviews on Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Pink
If you've got an Xbox 360, you need controllers. This pink one is perfect if you are comfortable in your masculinity, or if your favorite color is pink. If you want to make this controller a bit more manly, take a black marker and draw a skull or two on it.The layout of the buttons on the Xbox 360 is amazing. It's perfect for many of the games that are on the 360. The rumble is effective, and the wireless capacity is wonderful.
The only beef I have, is that I've had two controllers that become loose on the left analog stick, and they began to drag the cursor when not touched. The Xbox Warranty I had from the console replaced them free of charge. Luckily I had extra controllers to get me by in the week it took to replace it.
When matched with the rechargable battery pack, they give you lots of gaming time between charges.

I got this controller today and played around with it a bit. If feels nice, stiff; like a new controller should feel. But aside from all that there are a few massive thing wrong with this controller. First, and foremost, the first thing I get in the box is a notification titled, "Xbox 360 Rapid Fire Controller Instructions." I immediately tore apart the packaging to find two roughly-carved-out pieces of Styrofoam holding the controller in a small cardboard box. Right away it looked and felt like a normal controller, but I read the instructions indicating how to turn on the rapid-fire buttons. I looked at the description, the customer reviews; everywhere I could, to see what was said only to find that none of the customer reviews, nor the description say it was a modded controller. It even says it's by Microsoft; which obviously isn't. Now it looks, feels, and is even modeled after the original official Xbox 360 casing, plus it performs as well as it should, but at the time of this posting, the description should be changed to state that this isn't a true first-party controller by Microsoft and that it is clearly modded. But even after all of this, I don't understand why I seem to be the only one to even mention any of this. This is a very good controller, but please change the description to state that this controller is modded.
