This product doesn't work very well. I've been using official battery packs, as well as brand and off-brand rechargeable batteries.
Official battery packs last literally 4-6 times longer. But cost might make these worth a consider.

I bought 4 of these to use as a replacement for my official battery packs which lasted me 6 years before finally needing to be replaced.. Hopefully these will last me until the Xbox One comes out. But given their performance, I'm highly skeptical. All 4 battery packs seem to perform the same.
As others have mentioned, there is no way to tell if it's charged or not. And I have concerns that the charging system doesn't stop applying a charge once it's full which means if it's left on a charger it will likely day. I cannot prove this, but this is the typical scenario that plays out with a "dumb" charging system.
The battery cannot charge on a quick-charge station.
The reason I gave 3 stars instead of less is because of the price. Even though these battery packs only last 25% as long as official battery packs, they're also 20% of the cost. So from a cost perspective, it makes sense. Just keep in mind that every charge applied to the battery decreases it's life. And when you're charging the batteries literally 4-6x as often, the life is going to be 4-6x shorter. If my official ones lasted 6 years, I expect these to last no more than 1..
Recommendation:
If you are dead set on having a battery pack to avoid dealing with rechargeable AA's, this pack will hopefully work well enough to hold out until the Xbox One. My recommendation if you're looking to save money is to go with a decent rechargeable AA set. Eeneloop batteries work very well, and are much cheaper than the battery packs from Microsoft. They about $20 for a pack of 4 and the charger. That's the equivalent of 2 battery packs. Eeneloop's perform better than official battery packs, cost somewhere halfway between these cheap batteries and the official pack. The only disadvantage is you have to deal with individual batteries instead of a quick swap out.

I have had these packs a day and i like them. They are lightweight and i have literally hundreds of usb ports so the chargers are convenient for me. The charge will last as long as a standard pack with regular use (i mean full-empty charge). This thing charges pretty quickly as well. This thing came fast. Got it one day after they said it would be here. Put it into my control and it already had power on it. Plugged it up green light came on and as far as i can tell it was charging. It didnt show the progressing charge like the regular xbox charge and play kit does, but thats because it isnt actually plugged into the controller charging. It even charges without the xbox turned on which is great. it works wonderfully I have not had any problems at all love it and will surely buy more well worth the price
