I tried this microphone puck on 2 different Turtle Beach Headsets/2 different xbox controllersand all the other person could here was static. The cable is much shorter than regular and no matter what combo or on/off volume I tried I could not get the thing to work.

I contacted the company for a refund and am now dealing with non-amazon customer serviceI wish I had paid a few bucks more and avoided the headache.

Works perfectly like the original Xbox 360 pucks. I turn up my chat volume on my x12 and use this to control chat volume as well as being able to mute my mic without having to take my hands off the controller is so nice.

So I lost my 2.5 mm 2.5 mm male to male adapter. I had to purchase this to be able to use my Teach Beach x12s again. Thats all it does. It got 5 stars because it either work... Or it doesn't.... So yeah... There ya go.

I like it a lot, I like how you can mute it right from your controller, but the wore is very thin, so I'm afraid it will break very easily.
