G155 does fill a need for a portable gaming system. I do wish that it didn't need to be plugged in; however I am very impressed with the screen and sound quality. I love being able to take my ps3 or Xbox 360 with me on the road and it certainly is a sturdy case. I would recommend it to anyone who really can't leave their games behind.

I bought this so I could bring my ps3 with me and not have to worry about having a tv to connect to and for my son to use in his room while we're watching tv. I have yet to take my ps3 anywhere so I'm not 100% sure how that's going to go, but my son hates it. Every time he goes in to play he comes out complaining that the screen is blurry and that he can't read any of the text in Black Op's. At first I thought he was just whining (he is 12 after all, whining is the national past-time for pre-teen's isn't it?) but I have to admit that when I go in and look it is on the blurry side. It's almost looks like the same resolution as when I plugged my PS3 into a Gateway LCD monitor through the composite jack. I know that there's nothing wrong with the HDMI interface because when I plug it into the TV or the HDMI port on the Gateway LCD monitor it looks perfect. I don't know, but I suspect, that it has something to do with the monitor size. I also have to admit that while I didn't think the screen size would be much of an issue, that is a really tiny screen and the way the lid opens I constantly have to put something under the lid in order to get the screen to a viewable angle.

For the money I think I would have been better off buying him a small TV and sticking to the PS3 backpack I already had (that was a fraction of the price) when I need to take it somewhere. Honestly I wish I could send it back, but the return shipping would end up costing me a fortune so I'm stuck with it.
