I can't say anything about the Clones. It seems like a nice twist, getting to play a Clone, but I can't actually do that as I can only make the first two acts of the Ryloth campaign work. Once I finish II and click on III, nothing happens. Nothing. I have tried contacting Lucas Arts but they're apparently in a Galaxy far far away, because they don't answer. I tried the phone support, but they don't list this game. If you go to Yoda's 24-hour help desk, there is no actual 24 hour help desk nobody there. If you find a way to post a message, nobody gets back to you or acknowledges that you left a message. If you try LucasArts technical support, nobody checks the forum. I've had a message up there for two days now and nothing. In a word, there is no possibility of technical support for this already inferior product. I don't know if anybody else has had this problem, and I'll probably just have to take it back to Best Buy, but it would be nice to know that if you had problems there was actually some sort of technical support offered. LucasArts apparently doesn't care and therefore, they can kiss my dollars goodbye.

I bought this to play with my 5 year old son. He absolutely loves it. It has all the clone troopers, Jedi, battle droids, blasters, thermal detonators, etc. he desires and he's ecstatic to blast away with them.As has been mentioned before, the controls are a bit sloppy and imprecise and the camera angles can be frustrating (especially on 2 player when the camera stays with whoever has fallen behind rather than the player who is advancing ahead this can make jumps and ambushes annoying).
Ultimately this is a game that seems to have been designed for children. Even the hardest difficulty should prove easy enough for most kids, not to mention gamers. If your kid is a Star Wars nut, they'll enjoy this game fully. If you're looking for a Star Wars fix as an adult, probably best just to rent this one.

As a long time Star Wars fan and a fan of the new Clone Wars series, I've been looking for a game similar to SW Battlefront for my kids. While not a game that I myself can play for too long, it's easily a favorite of my sons and they keep it in their regular cycle with their lego, spiderman and ironman games. The controls were easy for them to adopt, and the penalty for death is similar to lego games: if you're killed, you just re-spawn. The extra perks like helmet/mask purchasing, droid riding and dancing, and special upgrades are enough to keep them coming back.
...And I'll admit, seeing notable troopers like Denal and Ponds in action, along with some really cool looking trooper additions, was enough to keep me watching while they played the first few times. A great family game, even if not up to the caliber of more adult-oriented action games
Honest reviews on Star Wars the Clone Wars: Republic Heroes - Xbox 360
Like most of the reviews above, this is a game best suited for a younger crowd. As a gamer myself, I found this game very lacking when it comes to challanges and length. It's very short, and very easy to pick up.My 7 year old loves it though. He loves the Star Wars series, especially clone wars since it's a cartoon so this was a perfect gift for him.
My recommendation: do not buy it if you're looking for a good engaging game for yourself; do buy it if you're looking for a fun game to play with your kids.
