I've had the privilege of playing this game a number of times at a friend's house, and I have to say it's actually a lot of fun. I usually find Karaoke games get old quickly, but this game has a lot of content beyond karaoke, and the added video aspect really makes it stand out. I spent a few hours with my friend just acting stupid, recording stuff, and uploading it to share with other friends.

You can choose to follow a scene verbatim (the dialogue scrolls on the bottom just like lyrics in karaoke), or you can make up your own words and change the context of the scene completely. I've never watched the reality shows on MTV, but I must say that I really enjoyed saying horrible things to the Jersey Shore cast while they went on with their own scene. I think at half the price of a standard game, it's completely worth your time and money to check it out. Plus, they seem to release DLC pretty regularly, so you won't be short of new songs/scenes to play with.

My only complaint is that the motion controls on Kinect are challenging for menu navigation, and they haven't implemented the controller support for that yet. But I find that to be a general problem with the Kinect, anyway...

I intend on giving a copy to my Aunt who bought a Kinect just to get up and have fun with her grandchildren throughout the winter. Do yourself a favor and at LEAST give it a rent to check it out :).

The songs are a lil hard to follow. You cant tell which part is yours to sing, and i couldnt even save the videos

This game brings lots of laughs! It's very fun. The only reason I didn't give it a full five star review is because it don't have much to choose from. It does have several shows to put yourself in but like for instance "Teen Wolf" only has 2 skits. Also the picture once you are in the show could look better but damn it's still so freaking fun you just don't care!
