I tried this and it did work for the first month. After that I needed to redo it every time before using the XBOX and it would only work for an hour or so.

Items was not completely adequate tools to fix rrod. One will need more items to fix rrod. But you get what you pay for.

Package is great and comes with all you need to fix your RROD on your 360 but its a temporary fix. It will NOT fix the Xbox forever. I suggest you use this to fix it and then trade it into GameStop. They only check if t starts up and goes to dashboard anyways'

I bought this kit for an Xbox 360 that had already been refurbished by a (MS approved) 3rd party once. The kit came with everything I needed and even the small vial of Goo-Gone was a nice touch.

Tearing open my 360 was honestly more enjoyable then playing the thing. It took a little bit of work but the website tutorial laid it out pretty plainly. Anyone could do it really.

The first time I put it back together, the system booted up like it had never heard of a red ring. It held together for about a week before ultimately red lighting again.

No matter how many fixes, burn-ins, or tricks I tried to pull; there was no bringing it back to life again.
