Bought this the other day with my PS4. It looked like the officially sanctioned version, so I thought I'd go for it. I still think it is official, the boxing etc. is exactly the same as the other accessories (camera, controller etc.). A couple things I love about it:

-It comes with an AC cord to plug into the wall, so it doesn't take up a USB spot on the PS4

-It's a great place to simply hang your controllers, without charging them if you want (leave the cradle in the 'up' position)

-If you want to charge it, press the controller down, and the cradle drops a little allowing the charging bit to go in the controller and start charging.

I always hate things that charge ALL the time as it ends up conditioning the battery for shorter work sessions. With this, it allows me to have a spot to hang my controllers without worry about charging when I want, then when they are in need of some juice you can press them down.

So far, they've been doing great.

It is pretty solid. I am very happy with this charger stand. They have made some great improvements over the PS3 DualShock Charging station. No adapters required.

This stand has two positions, so, you can just store your controller without charging it. It is very simple to use. Just click into place, then the controller light comes on and stays on till it is done charging. Once it is done, the light on the controller shuts off.

Works as expected. I can get both controllers charged in a little under 2 hours. It's small and compact, and I love the fact that it has a push release that holds the controllers in place.

This is nice and secure for putting the controllers into the dock and getting them charged. The power cord tucks nicely into the base so it all sits level. Overall, it does what it should and the clicking in and undocking of the controllers is very smooth. It's also compact and doesn't take up a ton of room. The controller itself tells you when it's charged, so there are no annoying blue or red lights that glow when it's on, just the controllers.

This product is great. I purchased it along with a dualshock 4 before the PS4 came out. I was a little nervous about the spring mechanism where basically you put the controller on the charger, and to complete the connection and begin charging, you push the spring-loaded connector downwards and it locks in.

It charges my controllers quickly and displays a yellow color on the controller's lightbar to show that it's charging. As soon as the charging finishes, the light goes off. Charges my controllers quickly, takes up very little to no space, and looks great too! As soon as you realize that the controllers have to be totally vertical for them to click in, plugging them in without light or in the dark is no problem, and it's not a problem to do it one-handed either.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars instead of 4, is because I feel that the entire thing is a little lightweight. You want this not to move and to be a (slightly) heavy and solid piece of equipment. It's made of 100% plastic, looks great, and functions just fine, however if it had a bit more of a solid feel to it, I'd be glad to change this to a 5 star review.
