I did not experience that, not sure what you are talking about. the forums I checked all seem to indicate this issue has been fixed and why would it not? Why would EA leave that potential issue as is and not fix it? makes no sense, if anyone is looking to get this might as well confirm what I am saying at the EA or other forums themselves first, before taking that comment as perpetually valid for more than a few days, a week or so, before it's resolved.
