Board games are one of the greatest family group activities of modern times. Getting the board out, finding the pieces, rembering all the rules, deciding who sits where and goes when, and finally to end up with someone quiting over a dice roll that slid off the board. Yup good times!! Just think after all that fun you get to throw most of the pieces back in the box and shove it in the corner of the closet, for another 6 months. OR YOU COULD JUST BUY FAMILY GAME NIGHT FOR 360!! Thank goodness someone from EA finally figured out buying these games seperately from Xbox live at $10 a piece was ridiculous. With Black friday, and a slow economy you should be able to pick up this game for around $20, and that is part of the reason why I rated this game so high. Not only can you play the classic games with all the rules intact and "a rule/move" assist from the game, but you can play the wildcard variations as well. Again the game shows you what moves are allowed (or not) based on the game mode your playing so there is no cheating. You can play local or over Xbox Live and your Xbox live Avatars become your representatives in the game. The number of people that can play is based on the game your playing, and there is no split screen everyone plays the same board. My wife and Kids actually play this game without me (4 players max) so you know it must be good if my wife is picking up an Xbox controller. Here is the official list/ write up.
Join your host Mr. Potato Head as you play your favorite Hasbro games including CONNECT FOUR, SCRABBLE, BATTLESHIP, YAHTZEE, BOGGLE, as well as exciting new versions created for Xbox LIVE® Arcade in Hasbro Family Game Night.
The only thing that could make this game any better is more addon games and lower Xbox live prices. I understand the game developers need to make money, so they should add more games to the title via Xbox live but limit the price to $5 a game. The only game they should make 800 points or 10 bucks is monopoly and they should totally rework that failed stand alone version to play as the current games on Family Game night works now.
Pros: Should be able to get it for $20, Games are fun and everyone in the family can play, all the other stuff I wrote earlier.
Cons: Family playing 360 takes up all your valuable first person shooter time, forcing you to watch reality TV.

This is an awesome two player game. Me and my wife have spent hours on this. The re-playability is very high. Battleship is probably our favorite, but they are all fun (Boggle, Connect 4, Sorry Sliders, Sorry, Scrabble, and Yahtzee). We have played them all quite a bit. I do like how you can play different styles of the game. It mixes it up a little bit which is good. I paid $20 for it and it was worth every penny. This game would be great for kids 6+ as well. My five year old daughter is still a little bit too young to play it, but in another year or so I'm sure she could play a couple of the games on it.
