pros:
+ up to 8 different characters (and different skins for them too!)
+ 4 main game modes: racing, battle, freeze them all and time attack
+ 2 levels of difficulty: beginner and pro
+ immediate hands on action (no training mode learning curve is super fast)
+ great looking graphics and great sound too
+ is an unexpensive game
+ single player or up to 4 players (multiplayer mode, split screen)
+ great option for fun on a family or friends reunion [multiplayer is what'll make this game worth it on a long run]
cons:
+ camera angles may not be to easy to control in battle or freeze modes
+ pro level may be too hard
+ if you an experienced gamer and single player is only what you are looking for, you'll be dissapointed as you'll be able to finish the game sooner than many other games
So, if you are looking for a game that can keep you and your friends/family playing over and over again, then Rayman Arena may be the right title for you.

This game is a blast. In the 'RACE' mode(TWO PLAYERS) there are around 12 tracks and 9 characters with dozens of short cuts, jumps and slides already unlocked and ready for action. With the split screen there's NOT a lick of slowdown and the tracks are very challenging and complex(not too complexed for my 4 year old though). I have to beg my kids to let me play it because they are hopelessly addicted to this game. HOWEVER, the 'BATTLE' mode has two serious flaws. ONE: You only play against one other apponent at a time(computer, but up to 3 friends). That's just not enough mayhem for my liking. However, we only played 'BATTLE' mode one time so I could be wrong about that. TWO: The camera does NOT follow you so if the apponent isn't in your direct line of fire(which he hardly ever is) it's very hard to find him. That was a dissapointment because it seemed I was doing more looking behind me than shoting at my apponent. So I said to my kids, "Let's try the 'RACE' mode" and they haven't even mentioned the 'BATTLE' mode since. It's been a week now and they've never looked back. Seriously, the 'RACE' mode, alone, is worth the money and that's why I still give it a 5 out of 5. It may not be for everyone, but I believe your kids will love it. There isn't any cursing or naked women in it and that helps me to love it. Oh yeah, and it's fun too!!!
