It is a game that will suck you into another world. To fully complete the game it will take anywhere between 72 to 120 hours of gameplay, and even more if the player wishes to unlock everything there is to unlock. The gameplay itself is acceptable if you can get over how the battles work with a grid type design. All in all there are definitely worse games out there to play.

The game can be compared to RPG's similar to Final Fantasy Tactics. I'm a fan of the gameplay(Grid Maps)and I don't mind grinding so I like this game, If you like these things I think this is the game for you. I do like FF:Tactics more but this game is pretty good.Music=Good
Replayability=Very good
Gameplay=Good

In terms of RPGs, this one has a few interesting concepts, as well as the whole two-generation storyline thing. It will be a very entertaining story to anyone who wishes to wade through it, and an interesting challenge to attract the affection of your various teammates.The thing about the game that may turn some people off is the grinding nature of the battle system. There is no real coup de main option in battle; you will have to slog it for more than a few of your fights, and you will need to level grind every so often to maintain parity with even tougher foes as you advance. The one saving grace is that your character power advances as a brisk clip when you do start going up in rank.
If you are prepared to go the mile and then some, this will be an interesting game for you. If you're in it for the story and have little time or patience to mash your foes constantly, this may not be a stellar choice.

While I enjoyed this game I ended up doing roughly the same combos over and over for large stretches of the game. Overall a fun experience but not a real high replay value even after getting the next generation of children.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Record of Agarest War Zero Standard Edition - Xbox 360
This is a turn based game, not a first person fighter or arcade game, so the graphics aren't amazing. They are just fine for playing the game. The game itself is a lot of fun, especially the multi-generation concept.One annoying thing about the game is the wait time between screens.
