This item is a great addition to anyone's Xbox 360 Arcade. The price is set nice and low considering the amount of content that it comes packaged with. This package includes a newly factory refurbished 20GB HDD for your Xbox360. This is a decent size, it has plenty of room to store your games' saves as well as downloadable content and Arcade games. This starter pack also contains an Xbox 360 headset and 3 months of free Xbox Live Gold. This is the perfect way to transition into the full 360 experience and all at a great price. The added benefit of having a hard-drive is that the drive contains emulators which allow you to run original Xbox titles that you may have missed out on. For the price of the starter kit, and the contents that it contains, you simply cannot go wrong purchasing this nice addition to your system. I highly recommend it.

I received an Xbox 360 Arcade for Christmas and this was great, reasonably priced item to help get me started. I'm not a hardcore gamer and I won't be using my Xbox as intensively as some folks will. I put a dozen CDs on there, downloaded a couple games and stored all of my saved games on it and I have plenty of room still left over. I don't doubt that two or three years from now that I may want a bigger HD, but it's also possible that I won't. Even if I do, this is still plenty worth it for now.

IMO, this is perfect for those casual/moderate gamers who just got or are going to get an Xbox 360 Arcade -or maybe even those who want some HD storage space but are on a bit of a budget. It does come with some pre-loaded demos on there, but you can delete all of those if you want. The 3-months of XB Live Gold is a nice bonus if you want to kick the wheels and see if Xbox Live is something that may be of interest to you.

Like I said, this package is great for Xbox 360 newbies. I know it's used, but it sure looks new and performs new. I definitely recommend this item.

Very simply put, you cant go wrong with this. Everything in the package works perfect and purchased separately it would be much more expensive.

I purchased a refurbished 20gb hd and it has work flawlessly for me over 6 weeks or so. It has plenty of room for me --keep one game loaded, occassionally dl a demo, that sort of thing. (Of course I did immediately remove nearly all of the stuff that was on the HD when I got it...fairly easy to do. It's a lot of demos, etc.) Caution if you are interested in downloading a lot of stuff, the 14 gb you have to work with won't last too long. But for me it is just right. By the way, installing it and getting it running is very easy.

For what you get great deal unless you want to spend 100 at the store

and get a bigger hard drive. But this bundled with the 360 arcade and you save 50 bucks. The other reviewer complained about connections not alawys lining up not sure what hes doing with it, dont know any one who takes it on and off all the time. My hard drive has been on for three straight years never had to be taken off. Also it might be used, but your not paying a 100 bucks for it either. Dont know what that other reviewer is crying about. To me, GREAT DEAL you just saved 50 BUCKS!
