I did a little research before upgrading my Xbox Phat to a newer Slim model.

The Slim 360 bundled with Kinect uses a proprietary extension cable.

THIS IS THE CABLE YOU NEED For Xbox 360 Slim.

Useful if your 360 does not sit near your TV, as the Kinect is required to be near the TV.

DO NOT pay Microsoft 50 for theirs when you can easily buy this 3rd party cable for under 10 WITH shipping.

I received this cable in a couple days, from a 3rd party seller. It does the job perfectly.

If you have a Phat 360 and bought the Kinect separately you need a powered USB extension cable instead.

This is NOT the cable you want for an add-on Kinect to an older model 360, as it only works with SLIM models.

I have no complaints with this cable. For my application I had to daisy-chain two of them together, and there is a little less accuracy as the Kinect tracks your movements, but its only noticeable on some games, and only barely then. Overall these cables are outstanding for the money.

This product works fine and is great for my needs. I have the black slim 360 saw reviews that it doesn't work on the older white 360. I can't tell you if two or more of these cables connected together works because one was long enough for me. I wouldn't say there is any signal loss or latency from the cable.
