These control pads have super short shelve lives. They provide good responsiveness for about a month and go to shit. The D-pad needs more tinkering, because there is crap sensitivity in the diagonals of the D-pad and all of the 8 buttons after a few weeks of play. Do not buy this product. Its not worth 20$. If you can find this product for 10-15$, then I would say you made a decent investment. Since, this controller can be a decent stepping stone to better play, but not for the long term. Madcatz needs to quit putting out the same product with a new face and calling it new, because this controller is the same crap as the originals that also had short shelve lives. Meanwhile, the new variants end up costing 30-50$ for something that performs like a 5$ prostitute. Do yourself a favor and begin getting used to Arcade sticks, because that is simply the most reliable controller platform for fighting games. Nobody knows how to make good D-pad controllers anymore.

Smaller then the older madcatz series. This product feels a little sticky as compared to older series. L&R triggers could use more play.[

This is perfect for night time when wife is sleeping and I don't want to make noise with arcade stick. D-pad is good and the button setup is ideal for fighting games.
