If your into the lightcores definitely worth buying. Shroomboom has two points of light,(most of the Lightcores only have one.) his mushroom glows green and his eyeball is like a little lightbulb. A great addition to the collection.

Part of the fun of the game is collecting all the Skylanders. My son enjoys all of them so far, including this one. Something that's NOT fun is overpaying for the figures. Just wait it out and eventually they'll all be at the suggested retail price. I picked this one up a few days ago from here and it was even less than what the Lightcores usually go for. I haven't overpaid on a single Skylander (original one and Giants) to date and don't plan on. What people advertise to be "rare" is eventually going to be as common as a pack of toilet paper. The truly rare ones will remain rare, such as the crystal ones, unpainted, etc., but those are for the hard-core collectors.Shroomboom was one of the first Skylanders out and now he has a makeover with the new pose and of course the lights. Not the most robust character in the game, he has his moments. If you're not interested in collecting all of them, you can easily pass this one by; but for completionists, this won't disappoint.
