Good, cheap cable. I bought one of these to serve as an extra cable half of the charger for Apple Laptops. The corded sides of those adapters are just fancy looking 2-prong cables so you can buy these cheap ones and route them underneath desks or other places that are a hassle to crawl under and plug your adapter in. Then just carry the box part of the adapter around. Not quite as convenient as having two complete adapters but cost a lot less.
