Works great with PS3! Does not work with PS4. Great sound and others hear me loud and clear. Would have been 5 stars if not for the fact the huge headsets look rediculous on my head. I'm gauranteed to get a few laughs when I have them on.

I wish I had the experience other reviewers did with this headset. I get no audio, period.....well except when I do the mic setting I can hear myself but as soon as I leave that screen, silence. Hooked it up, set it up, checked and double checked to make sure volume was on and it was switched to the right system and got nothing coming back at all. They are comfortable, and warm, so I'll probably use them to keep my ears warm this winter, you know, since they don't do anything else.

I wanted a cheap headset that would work with Xbox 360 and PS3. I tried these for a couple of hours and they were pretty comfortable. I like the unique headband. Sort of an Aeron chair for the head. The headset is very light, without feeling very fragile.

I haven't had a chance to test the chat functioning. When switched to Xbox, there is a detachable 2.5mm cord that plugs into the controller. When switched to PS3, the chat should be routed through the USB.

The amplifier isn't very loud. I could hear everything, but it had to be turned almost all the way up. I don't want to make my ears bleed, but a little more power would've been preferable.

The amplifier/control box is hardwired. The problem is that these won't work as passive headphones. Hooked up to a stereo headphone jack, almost none of the sound came through. Being able to unplug from the box would have made these more versatile.

I got this a couple days ago because I wanted a headset and didn't want to spend a lot of money on it. I paid $27 for a used like new one with shipping included. The headset that i got is pretty stretched out, so it's not very tight on my head. I hope that's just because i bought it used, but if it's not, then that's only bad thing about it besides the incredibly long cords, but that could be a good thing for some people. It has great sound quality and you can hear things very clearly, but it doesn't isolate sound outside of the headset very well. Overall, it's a very good headset with more pros than cons, and definitely well worth the money.
