I play XBox, like, a LOT. And, when I finally got my wireless headphones working and was all set to buy my first Hard Drive enclosure for my newest controller, I thought, "Hey! Why not look for a combo controller and enclosure in one!"
Imagine my surprise when I hooked this puppy up and could enclose my new USB 3.0 External Hard Drive right inside! And, talk about fast! I'm like all rapid firing and stuff, using both joysticks in tandum, and things are all missing me as I dodge and dive in my games. And the whole time I'm downloading the latest Windows 8.1 update right to my controller!!
Crazy fun. Just wish it supported more than 3 Terabytes, cause all the PlayStation controllers support 6 in their Controller Enclosures.
PRO: Wicked fast. And, storage too?
CON: Having issues recovering anything I think I've downloaded. It's like it's not there, even though I forced a USB drive into the side. Broke the plastic a bit to get it in there, but.... Oh, and I figured out that the normal USB 3.0 cord you usually get with devices doesn't fit... I mean, not anywhere. So I ended up just heating up the end of a spare I had and pushing it into the plastic at the top until it fit snugly. Looks like it worked. Just wish I could find my downloads.
