I read about this product before it came out. When it came out at the 29.99 price point, that seemed like too much. You can buy the game of the year edition of each of these games for 20 bucks, and both have a lot of DLC that this package does not come with. So initially I was just going to keep waiting for the GOTY editions to go down a little in price. But I was able to get this while it was on sale for 19.99, and for someone who will probably not even get around to the DLC, that was a steal.
So far I have only played oblivion for about 5 hours (the game has already been reviewed to death so I wont go into detail) but it quite fun and definitely not outdated. The graphics are still quite spectacular despite it being 8 years old. Yes, you do get slower loading times than you would expect (installing to your hard drive cuts them down a bit) and the framerate is a little low at times, but overall the graphics are very very impressive.
I may or may not get around to updating this review once I have spent a bit more time with these gameslet me know if you'd like me to.

If I didn't already own these two games, I would buy this. Fallout and Oblivion both have HUGE free roam maps that hold hours and hours of side quests. In both games you can join the "good" or the "bad" side. Oblivion takes place during medieval times. Weapons include swords, axes, bows, and magic spell you can makeup yourself. In Fallout it is setup after a nuclear war. Weapons can be crazy. If you like guns than this one would be better for you. You can use baseball bats, knifes, pistols, rocket launchers and every gun in-between. If you find the right gun, ANYTHING can be used as a weapon. Both games have good story lines and they can go in multiple directions depending on your choices. Rent them if you want to try first (you would pay more if you rented them vs buying them and finishing them because they take so long to beat) :D
