This is a steal, it is less than half the price the Microsoft adapter and works just as well. BUY THIS! The device is good if you only need 802.11B speeds (which is enough for internet play.) The issue that I overlooked was what encryption it supported. The WGA11B does not support WPA, no firmware update that I could find on linksys either, so I am left with a pretty decent device that I won't utilize on my network. They failed to mention that the installation will only work off a PC. Good luck my fellow Mac owners.... Oh not to mention that you must be running a PC older then Vista to install! I just wanted a straight up adaptor that would search for networks and let me configure.... Not possible!If you own a Mac don't buy!
