Quite honestly, Eruptor is not one of my favorite Skylander to use. He's fairly slow and doesn't do a lot of damage. Initially, his two attacks are throwing balls of magma and erupting himself to spew out lava. The magma ball throw lacks any real punch, which is unfortunate because this will be the attack you'll be using the most. However, it does arc up which is useful for getting enemies that are on higher platforms. His lava spew, while it looks cool, doesn't last long on screen and does a laughable amount of damage. It seems like he would need to be upgraded quite a bit (by using coins collected in the game) to become a viable Skylander to use.
Though, I do like the action figure itself; probably because it has some weight to it and doesn't feel "cheap."

This is to be used with the Skylanders video game (we have the Wii system). So far both my boys want to get a chance to play with him. Most def recommend. I must confess I enjoy playing this character in the video game myself.Best Deals for Skylanders Spyro's Adventure Eruptor
My son loves this game and I have to admit that I'm grower fonder and fonder of it. Eruptor was one of the characters that we first got with this game. I wouldn't consider him the most powerful one, but he is fun to play around with. He does run really slow and it's hard to keep up with other people if you are doing two player mode. I would definitely recommend him as a figure to have in a Skylander collection.Honest reviews on Skylanders Spyro's Adventure Eruptor
Eruptor came from underneath the Earth. He is a complete hot head, always fuming and throwing molten magma. His other attack is spurting lava from his...behind? Funny guy. But he is a little slow, which makes him annoying not only during fighting but also from picking up the goodies. You can get him in a 3-pack and you save 4 bucks. He comes with Chop Chop (Undead) and Bash (Earth).
