This is a very fun game...provided the game's computer does not cheat. However, at certain points in the game, no matter a good a player thinks he or she is, the computer takes a cheap shot. Other than that, this game is worth playing. I used to play the coin-op version at a local pizza place and now that I have it for the SNES, I can play it for free anytime I want. There are four gunslinging studs in this game: Steve, Billy, Bob, and Cormano. Steve and Billy are pistoleers. Bob and Cormano are rifle/shotgun toters. The best character to use is Bob. He is pretty quick with pump-action rifle(s). His rifle shot is more accurate than Cormano's, but if you are looking for power, Cormano's shotguns are a little more powerful than Bob's rifles. If speed is your game, then Billy or Steve are the best....but you have to be a crack shot with the pistoleers or you can get killed quite easily. 4/5 because the computer cheats, otherwise a lot of fun! Definitely worth playing!

this game is fun, but challenging, if you can beat contra, then this games easy. This game is fun with 2 players, but can be played alone. There wasnt to many coop games for the snes, kirby super star, donkey kong country, chuck rock are a few others, the snes version is better than the genesis version.

i had this game when it first came out and i loved it since then.
the game is pretty sort, but difficult.then i lost it one day and i didnt play it agian for about 6 years. i bought the game from amazon and resived it three days later and i still love this game. there is a pick from four different charectors two are single power shots and the other two are spread shot. the power ups in the game make it a bit easier but even the best will die a hand full of times. the computer does cheat but most dont mind because the game is just simply to much fun. It a game that one can play over and over and not get sick of it like most newer games.

This game is a no holds bard it's hard, but than again most early Nintendo games were. This game good it's interesting the arcade game this is based on was made the same hear a similar arcade game was made C.O.W.boys of Moo Mesa. Personally I would rather play C.O.W.boys of Moo Mesa, but I'm sure the rights or something were an issue if not the graphics. None the less this is a good game really hard and at sometimes kind of unoriginal in it's design or just blah! All and all 4 stars it's a fun game!

The story line may be considered light but as shooter it is a lot of fun. I had played this game when I was younger and found it challenging and hours of fun and now as an adult I can say it is still challenging and fun. It really is a great game whether you play alone or with friends.
